Typewriter helps you to instantly make a video with word typing effect. Just input your text, the app will automatically create a type-on text effect video including the sound effects of keyboard typing.
You can further edit the text animation by:
- Adjust the speed so it can type on faster or slower.
- Change text font, color, and size
- Change text alignment, spacing and line spacing
- Add text shadow
You can also change the video background color or loading background images from your Camera Roll.
The result can be exported as a video or GIF
The exported video will look like as you actually tying in a word processing app.
This could take you a lot of time if you use other pro video editors and you also have to find or create the sound effects of keyboard typing by yourself.

THIS APP IS A WINNER !!!UPDATE I’m a very satisfied user of the Pro version of this App. So I just want to let everyone know that the Developer has recently added tons of NEW Fonts to the Pro version. It keeps getting better with time. —— After trying a similar app from a competitor, I decided to go with this one because the many useful features it has. The main one is that it offers a slider volume control for the typing sound. The typing sound may be ok for a short, one or two line message, but for a long one it becomes annoying. With this app you can control the volume. Make it lower, or silence it altogether, then send long messages to family and friends, or post them in Social Media without the distracting annoying typing sound. There are other useful features, like controlling the spacing between characters and lines, change Fonts, background color, or insert a photo as a background. Also you can chose from eight different screen sizes, square, vertical, horizontal, and others. After trying it for a while I found that it has so many really useful, and very customer oriented features, that I decided to get the Pro version. Highly recommended!.Version: 1.7.1
This app is great for a lot of things!This particular app has one of the best sets of free features, (and paid I’m sure). Though, I wish we could remove or upload videos as the background. (because as of now you can do image or solid colour backgrounds, just not videos). I got this app to try and put a typing text overlay onto a prerecorded video, which I’m unable to do without either of those features. Honestly though, I’m not too bothered because other than that, this app is amazing. It has a great set of free features and is not only easily usable, unlike other “free” apps I’ve tried, but you can make some really cool stuff!.Version: 2.1.2

Would be 5 stars but…This app is cool it’s exactly what I was looking for. I’d give it 5 stars but for some reason when I save the video to my camera roll, the color is much more dull on my camera roll than it appears in the app. In the app the color is bright and looks amazing. Not sure why this happens but hopefully it’ll get fixed. Other than that, this is a great app and easy to use..Version: 2.1.0
It does what I want. Most of the time.It gives me all the tools i need to make the text appear at the exact right time In the right font and how but it should be. But half of the time it doesn’t let me download the video of it..Version: 2.1.0

Lacking screen orientationI use 12.9 iPad Pro with attached keyboard in landscape mode. I wish the developer will consider adding the ability to rotate the screen from portrait to landscape.
