CapCut: Photo & Video Editor Customer Service

I love capcut, I’ve been using this app since August (of 2024) and 4 months later, (December 2024) I’ve been having issues with this app. First, in the app u literally have to pay for capcut pro, which is fine, but the prices are pretty high. Like I know they do like 65% off, but I don’t know if that’s helping as much. In my opinion, I personally think Capcut is money hungry. Second, the storage issue, I ended up deleting all my videos and edits for storage and deleted many apps for that storage, and it still says I need to delete my storage in order to use capcut and edit on there, I restarted my phone and that worked but 5 minutes later it just get worse. I hope capcut that u fix that issue. The good part about capcut is that it’s free, there are many options to choose for your edits, and you can watch templates but the bad side of templates is that some content creators post Inappropriate and disturbing for many people. This app is 12+ who the heck wants to watch people in weird outfits showing off there body like what the sigma. I can’t even let my 9 year old sister to watch templates it’s like tiktok but u can use the templates like who wants to use those green screens that are too inappropriate? Not me for sure, and when I reported them nothings happened it’s like people like watching and using that cringeness. There should be controls on what u should watch because that is just cringe…. Overall I rate capcut 3 stars.

Well, when I go into Camera, there is no more make up a.k.a. the fairy, the make up, and stuff. I don’t know if people have been using them badly and that is why you took them off, or it is just a bug. I have been wanting to use them for so long but they’re gone. So, I have been wondering, if you will check it out, or you purposely took them off. Also, a lot of other stuff has been getting taken off. Again, if you can take a look, that would be great, or if you purposely took them off I am perfectly fine with that. Just warning you. Also when for some reason I deleted this app and got it back I look for all my templates and videos I made but they aren’t showing up. I tried everything I signed into my account but it still didn’t work. I am extremely sad because I usually don’t save all my important templates or videos because I don’t want to take up storage but now I don’t even have them. I also read some other reviews and some other people are having this problem. Please get to this problem. It seems that you are ignoring all the reviews if you are not, and you are reading this, please do something about this. Also, whenever I make some certain videos, it says that the part of the video was deleted, but I didn’t delete any part of the video so now the important parts of my video are gone, the funny parts, the sad parts and maybe boring parts that are still wanted. I really hope that you can get to this because I lost some of my very important videos parts of my important videos and some filters. Hope you can get to this. Thank you.

I rater this high, only because I do think the app is very good for editing. I just hate how they keep adding things to pro. I will not pay 100 dollars just to have one feature I used to be able to have. I don’t want to have to switch over to a different app, but if I have to, I very much will. It makes me very angry to see such simple things such as “SMOOTH SLOW MOTION” turn into a pro feature. I can take a video in my camera roll and edit a part to be slow motion for free, so why does it need to be paid for in CapCut? There is no reason for everything needing to be paid for when they are such simple things. I understand the more advanced features being pro, but seriously? Slow motion? Seriously? I would appreciate if you guys actually read this review and realized how many people are frustrated by the amount of things turning into pro features. And another thing, the hashtags. Trying to search something is painful because the only thing showing up is two items of what you actually searched and about a hundred ads or things that just have a high amount of likes. If I want to search and find something that I saw WITH THE HASHTAG I would like if it actually showed up when I go to look for it again. Please fix this. And please stop making so many features pro, it’s really frustrating as a person that isn’t even making money from this and only using this app for fun. I don’t even have an account, I simple wanted to use CapCut to make edits for fun, and if I have to, I will switch to Alight motion. Please read and consider this.

Is an amazing app it’s the best app possible if you want to edit videos if you want to have videos for show if you want to add videos too you can make your own edit by just trying. I know it doesn’t look very nice. I know it doesn’t look cute but in my opinion, I read five stars is not the best app, but it actually is the best app you can make your own videos. That’s really good. I wanna make my own videos but if you wanna edit videos, you wanna edit the photos cause it doesn’t look right CapCut video editor and it’s in the picture. Editor is the best app for like constant on TikTok. I didn’t even know about CapCut. I heard it from TikTok but it’s an amazing app is the best app. I love this app so much in the creator of CapCut. Like the title says, I love CapCut. It’s absolutely just so amazing, and you can make millions of things in CapCut. If you’re video maker, or are just there for the templates, there’s something for everyone. However, there are a few things that kind of ruin my experience. The first being CapCut Pro. I want to use CapCut freely, without being constantly nagged about something that costs $8 a month, or $75 yearly. The most awful thing about CapCut Pro is the fact that some of my favorite transitions and animations have been added to CapCut Pro, so I can no longer use them. Another thing that ruins my experience is a bug. I think it was accidentally added in a recent update, because this is new for me. When going through photos and videos in CapCut, like choosing which ones to add to my video, some of the items will be black, like the item is just flat out black, with how long the video is still showing, but I’m still able to add to add it to my video. As a GachaTuber, this is a ginormous issue because in order to make the videos that I make, I need to take countless screenshots and put them into the editing app. If I can’t see what the photos are, it adds to my storage trying to take more photos, hoping that they will show up, and lessens my patience and motivation. Overall, I absolutely love CapCut and I encourage any and all types of video making in this app. I only hope that the bugs will get fixed and removed so that I can easily keep making videos.

This app has so many edits and so many reasons why you should get this app. This app is great quality the filters and the editing is top notch. There’s also so many filters and edits to choose from. This is like my favorite app out of all my apps I have! I chose to download this app is because it just makes my photos and videos look like really cool and look amazing, for all the people that’s out there I would get this app I can literally change your life and I have been using this app for as long as I can remember to be quite honest my old phone used to have nothing but CapCut videos that I make. CapCut 🪩is just like a really entertaining app! I like about it is that there’s no ads and free edits that you can just chose and not even have to do it yourself this is like a really chill fun entertainment app. There’s also a VIP or like other people call it a free upgrade, but it does cost money and you can cancel at any time. For me, I think CapCut is a amazing app to be quite honest. Mostly every thing is free when it comes to editing like FX 🛸or free scissors cutting photo is free. Mostly everything is free but for me I just like to make lots of really cool, amazing videos, but my favorite part is about making my editing is to put like sparkling in my video to make it a little. More cooler. 👻🫧So I would highly recommend getting this app. It can Change your life 🤓it could change every video and photo that you have CapCut is basically one of the most favorite apps that anybody has ever got! I love capcut and think it is a great app to make plenty of fun videos with friends on, but there is one minor issue I was wondering capcut can fix. So there’s this cool option to REVERSE a video on CapCut, where you can throw something behind you, reverse it, and look like you’re catching an object that just appeared in midair without even looking behind you. It’s pretty cool, but sometimes it glitches - and by sometimes, I mean 65% of the time, and if I’m honest, it can be pretty annoying. For example, I put in a cool video of me doing a throw-back thing with my friend a few days ago, but when I went to reverse it, it reversed a completely different video than what I wanted to reverse - a random one from my camera roll I haven’t seen in ages, and it makes me scared because I don’t want CapCut to have access to my whole camera roll, because I have some private things in there. Plus, it’s just plain annoying, because I tried to reverse the video several times but the app wouldn’t do it and I got the feeling it was just REFUSING to do it, and I wondered why and how it could do that. It didn’t give me a reason why it wouldn’t do that - no notification or little alert saying it was too short or too long or too dark or too bright or something like that. If possible, I’d like to creators of CapCut and come back to fix that, because it is just plain obnoxious how it usually doesn’t work. Other than that, great work on the app, and I love CapCut very much.

As a CapCut user, this app is amazing, their templates for Slomo, velocity, and entertainment videos are on point, giving children a slight preview of TikTok (as it is made by the creators of). but I wish that there not so many inappropriate and suggestive material. There are a lot of people suggesting things on what to bring to run away, suicídě topics, r@pist stories, and a lot of AI related content. Please fix this to keep people safe. And if parents are looking at this and you approve of the app, make sure you preview what your child is watching/ making with templates but also give them some privacy. Again this app is amazing, it just has things to keep note. CapCut, maybe you could add a restrictions setting for parents? (5 stars so you could see this message.) According to their privacy policy, they collect content, associated metadata, and user generated content. SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU POST/ EXPORT, THEY CAN SEE IT. When I was younger, I used to always use CapCut for Slomo videos of my horses, but then all of the sudden CapCut became moneybags. They’ve created a thing called “Pro” that states “easy cancellation” when in reality, IT IS A NIGHTMARE TO CANCEL. And there is also a problem their customer support. ITS LIKE THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT (this issue is stated multiple times by other users in reviews). I did not write this to accuse CapCut of anything, I want to keep other people and kids safe from the bad stuff in this app.

I love CapCut, but I’m not old enough. I’m only nine years old and I feel like I’m not included because CapCut isn’t that bad but my friend is 11 years old and she has CapCut plus she her birthday was yesterday and she turned 11 she used to be 10 and she still had CapCut so yeah that made me sad because you know I feel like I just want CapCut. I have this app called Selfish with with filters cause I’m not old enough for Snapchat, yeah and I don’t even know, but I love CapCut guys. If y’all don’t know, I always will be making TikTok with my friend. Her name is Jannah her for her birthday. I got her the sole de Janeiro and I got her the 40 she brought it because she’s from New York. She left her other ones there but she ran out of the 40 I got her this summer pack with some bum bum, clean cream and sunscreen with it. She said thank you so much. cause she really ran out and she loves that one. I was the first one there we had to wait three hours for them to come we helped with cooking and everything. It was really much fun and I had a great time there. Sorry for getting off track well about CapCut. This is a really good app that you can use to send people messages for birthdays, including and I love this app but I’m not old enough so I usually have to use my sisters iPad to put on some music and stuff. It's honestly a really nice and I love it so much it's literally perfect for editing. I used to use TikTok for editing the editing place if you know it's actually way much better because you had like a but this one you don't even have a limit. You can use a little bit you can it's just perfect. I feel like first I wasn't really used to it and I didn't know how to use it but now and now I know how to use it a lot so if you download it and you're like oh my God, I don't know like oh my God, I don't know how to use it, but actually it really nice and you don't just like delete it because I did that in first place, but then I was like you don't wanna let me down a little it back and see if I could use it and it just stayed in my phone for a few days so then I was like let me look at this app and then I just know how to use it and yeah, it's perfect I apparently gave it five stars just right now I was literally editing a video like 10 seconds ago now I think of it I'm gonna give it four stars because it said it's exporting, but it's actually like it's taking too long and it's just freeze and it's not exploding at all and my edit is so good so I don't want to delete it it's nice. I mean you should try it though, but mostly when you're added as good and it it's not editing so yeah, just but I really think whoever ever like looks at this review should download it but just be a little careful So yeah, bye

I love capcut sm. I’ve had it for like 2 years now and I am so proud to see how far it has come with all of its features. I love basically everything about it but if I had to list its best features (in my opinion) I would say: 1. AI images! I don’t have capcut premium so I can’t actually use the ai images feature 😭 BUT, capcut offers free effects that will convert an image into anime style! Love this, it is so cool. 2. Editing effects. I love to make edits especially when I am bored and there are so many animations/loops for me to choose from to make my edit come to life. 3. COPYRIGHT CHECKS! Yes, capcut will run a copyright check on any audio over 1 minute. This is so helpful! 4. Face and body effects. Capcut makes cool effects easy with their wide library of face and body effects. It will blur backgrounds or faces or even make your face funny. Okay, now onto my suggestions. I have only two. Maybe make a recently deleted project folder. I think this one is pretty self explanatory. The other day I deleted a project and later realized I needed it again but I couldn’t get it back! Pls this would be so helpful. The other one is that maybe make more free options for effects, animation, etc. I get that you need money, and adding premium features is fine. Maybe just don’t show the premium features unless the user has premium. I have accidentally inserted premium features and then when I go to export it says I can’t without paying. Anyways, still amazing app. Great for beginners and advanced editors alike. 🩷🩷

Sadly, I can’t do animation, like how I do it in KineMaster, but this is still AMAZING. the stickers are beyond adorable (some are like- uhm y’know that kind of EdGy but anyways-) it’s a great app. It’s actually a step up from KineMaster, which I did not expect. I’m so happy we are able to delete the watermark at the end, it’s just great. And everything is free! it’s awesome and it’s pretty much everything you need (sadly no animation key thing.) the chroma key is SOO good. I can remove part of my green/pink screen in the background without any pink/green thing on my character or art disappearing! The effects are really nice and aesthetic, and some are just really cool. (some are kinda uhm weird imo) the effects are perfect for edits, the retro or vintage ones have to be my favorite! Also the in and out animations are cool, and there are some that are for the whole duration of the video/photo, which is cool. The customization abilities for the text are great. You can give the text a font, color, some special design (example: making it glow) in and out transitions, animations that last for the duration the text is on the screen, and you can put it in a text box or something, and there are some really cute ones! There is so much I haven’t explored yet, and I know it’ll probably be good. I recommend this app for beginners, pros, anyone really. 5 stars, 10/10 I love the app Sincerely, -a person

I love capcut! I appreciate how everything is free and how you can remove the watermark at the end. I have been using this app for like a year now and i think its great and easy to use. i do have some recommendations though because i do find some little issues or something i would like to be better/fixed. so my first recommendation is that you guys should maybe add more animations to both, texts and clips. for the texts, i think itd be cool to have more varieties to choose from. i know there's a lot of choices already but i mean that maybe if possible, there could be combos like there is for clips. i think itd look great on edits and would be very useful. and now for clips, i think if you could add more ins and out transitions, it would be fun to be able to have more transitions. maybe you could even add more combos as well. id also think a new great addition would be if there were to be more shakes and stuff. I dont think theres many shakes to add to your edits so i think more would be cool. another suggestion is to make the speed adjusts cleaner. sometimes when i make it slower, it looks blury or just doesnt look like it has the same quality as it would with normal speed. i do hsve more recommendations id like to share but i dont really know exactly how to explain it but if you could add/fix those things, i think the app would be 5x better! :)

I only put the 5 stars to get someone’s attention, so apologize for that but i want to make it known. i love capcut, i’ve been a user since 2020 and used it as my main editing app. when i try to switch editing app it never is has good and simple as capcut. though ever since last year and early this year there has been so much capcut premium added to the app. now everything basically is premium, all the effects and features i use are now not available unless you but premium. and the thing is when they see it is a popular feature they make it premium. now, i have looked at buying premium but the prices are outrageous! for one year is is $129! then when its discounted it’s $71 which is still insane! this used to be a free editing app for everyone to use for FREE!! now i cant even use the app for the things i want to use it for. i use this app for my tiktok videos and vlogs but now i can even use the mix transition feature which is my most used transition feature! i dont think this is fair especially because this is labeled as a free app even though more than half of the app is premium! at this point just make people pay to use it all together instead of having it so a little bit of the app is free. if you want a similar editing app download VLLO it’s not all free but most of the features are free.

I love this app!! A lot, believe me! I’ve been using it for a couple years now and editing is one of my favorite hobbies. Whenever I’m bored or wanna do something for a celebration or edits of something or someone I just go over to Capcut and it’s simple and easy!! It is a clear way of how to edit and where to go to make your edits look nice and enjoyable to watch!! Slight problem…I have been making my edits without an account, so today I finally decided to make an account so my edits are in this account and I can delete the app to clear some storage for another app that’s just temporary and I’d just download capcut again. However, when I logged in my account for the app, it was all fine! All the edits were in the account. I even triple checked to make sure they were in the account safe and sound. I delete the app. Later on, I re-download it and to my surprise, they’re all gone. Poof, nothing there. I’m completely heart-broken. I can’t get those edits back and it was really hard to make some. And some others, they were just heart warming and I loved them in general. I can’t put it to myself that they’re all gone. It hurts and I can’t get this off of my mind. I’ve researched to see if there’s any way to get them back, but it’s not possible. Just learn from my mistakes and log into an account from the beginning. Hopefully capcut creators you can see this and help in some possible way. Thank you :)

What an addicting app and a fun way to show love and support to your friends and family I love making these and I make quite a bit of them a day and that quite is more like 50 a day and I really enjoy making them and then I can post them and there is so many fun templates out there and I love you can also make your own edits to post for templates it is such a fun way to pass time and to enjoy times with your friends I completely use this app daily and it is just so much fun! I use this app for my love and also to make fun of my friends! It is so funny seeing there reactions to what I make! I very much enjoy making cap cuts and there just so much fun to do and I really use this app so much! Cap cut makes my mom happy to when it was Mother’s Day I made her a Mother’s Day cap cut and she said I loved it so much! It is such a easy way to make myself happy I love it so much! Cap Cut is so much fun I could bitterly just survive on it I just want to thank you for spending time on this and I love it so much and keep up the amazing hard work you guys are putting into this amazing fun and addicting app there is way more than just templates and edits you can do to! This is the most amazing editing app EVER!!!!!!!!! I’m obsessed. But there’s a few things that you could change… first I think there should be a option where u can name your video because i find it super obnoxious when all my edits/videos look the same and I can never find the one I’m looking for. I can’t be the only one that has this problem, either. It’s not a huge problem for me but I still think that u should consider fixing it 😊 My friend has this app as well and she LOVES it a little too much 😅 she always sends me videos of her amazing edits that she made on your app! I really do appreciate how many editing tools there are and how non of them are money! (That I’ve seen) because it’s REALLY annoying with other editing apps where almost every editing tool is premium or something. Not to mention there’s not any adds on this app! (Maybe there is, I don't really pay attention lol) I strongly dislike it when there’s so many adds on these types of apps specially. Another idea similar to the naming idea (my first idea) is to sort the videos or number them. I really dislike how the videos re-arrange when you watch them (I’m talking about how it does that on the actual app btw) again not a super big problem but I hope you will think about it. Omg I literally can’t explain the amount of times I am on CapCut it is life changing put all your pictures in one video and you have storage and it has amazing quality and I don’t its just perfect in my opinion!!!! I have had this video editing app for about 3 months and I LOVE IT you can extract sounds and use them to make videos and you can edit together clips and photos with sounds. It's great for kids like me who aren't allowed to have TikTok or Social Media it acts as a place where you can do TikTok dances and others and you can share it with your family and friends without posting them on a social media platform, you can also use CapCut to make videos for TikTok if you are allowed to use it. I use CapCut almost everyday wether it be because I'm bored and want to lip sync or I'm doing acting or I want to put together a video for my family, CapCut does amazing things for your videos it has a cloud so you don't have to upload every video to your photos and contests where you can win Gift Cards up to a I-Phone 13 granted for these contests you have to have TikTok but that is one thing l'd like to point out to the Developer that there should be a way to enter the contests without TikTok for me l'd love to win these things and enter the contests but with not being allowed to have TikTok there is no way for me to enter these so I would love if you made a way for people like me who cannot use social media to enter the contests thank you for reading this and sorry that is so long but CapCut is really important to me I make videos everywhere from my home to in the car or just outside I make videos with my friends and can just have It's Just Amaizng!

Okay hii so i love capcut i use it to edit videos i post to tiktok !! todayy i wanted to use text to speech for a video. now i don't usually use text to speech as it doesn’t really fit my video concept but today i decided to switch up my concept a bit to one Ive been looking forward to for a while. so i put a clip into my new project, and start typing my text, i click on the text to speech, and it starts loading with those two teal dots. i sit there for a while, nothing, i click the checkmark and it says “not internet connection” so im like okay i dont have the best internet. i tried again after a while when the internet was up, no luck. i soon realized this was a bigger situation then internet. i googled and saw many other people having the same issues, many having the text to speech button not even there. one user said to check if you had upgraded the app and to un-install it and try again. i checked if i had upgraded it and i hadn’t, i upgraded it and went back into capcut, didnt work, i un-installed and reinstalled, didnt work. i even downloaded speechify, another app i hoping to have the ai voice i was looking for. it had some options but they weren't THE capcut ai voice i needed. this is frustrating as i have wanting to do this concept for a while just to find out the main ingredient was missing. please helpp ?

Hi I am 12 this is such a fun to have tea. Is I love making videos and sending them to my friends we send them back in them back-and-forth and then we re-create. The ones that our friends made it endless fun great to do for kids my age and older. Also if you have Tik Tok, you can connect your TikTok account Instagram account and like other accounts so it’s great for that and you can actually post to things you make it’s not like you make the video and then you can’t post it. You can post it. I sent them to my friends and we post them all the time. It’s so much fun in the templates are even better. Always make sure to have the things that I am interested in funny ones hilarious ones and ones that are just. Cute. And it is just awesome. Like it’s endless. Forever and it’s like you’re watching videos when you’re looking at the end there’s a bunch of other stuff that’s fine re-create your own videos, you can pick your own songs and all that it’s literally like TikTok, except it’s more safe for younger kids. It’s a fun way to learn how to use social media. So good and the fact that it makes kids feel like they are attaching the social media in the videos or just hilarious and friends He laughs so and friends so I suggest getting it it’s really nice. CapCut is amazing. CapCut is a editing app that allows you to watch a video use its template and make your own video about it. CapCut lets you access the video Text settings and audio. This allows you to be able to be “original technically” CapCut is a great app bc it allows you to sign up and create your own videos. There’s one downside tho the CapCut pro is used for a lot of things while editing. Including captions without you adding text and a bunch of other stuff, But if you want to figure out the rest you have to download CapCut yourself. Therefore this is opinion on CapCut. Amazing, spectacular, and Is over all just good. So I hope you can download CapCut and make videos. Something else you can do is when your done editing when you hit export it saves it to your photos and you can upload it to TikTok,YouTube,MySpace, Facebook,Instagram,Snapchat and a bunch of different stuff. There’s also like monthly challenges like if you can get the most views with the correct hashtags like #CapCut or #CapCutVideo then you get entered in and if you win you could win 1000$ US Dollars or you could Win CapCut pro and be able to do all the stuff that normal CapCut users can’t do. So I hope you download CapCut it is an amazing so I hope you can enjoy videos on CapCut just like me!

I enjoy CapCut. I use it to edit video gaming clips for my social media pages. It allows the user to save videos in different qualities, extract audio, reduce background noise, slow down/speed up clips, add animations/effects, etc. It also has a wide variety of premade formatting options for text. A great feature is that it lets you check copyrighting on your video audio specifically for where you’re posting your video so you don’t have to worry about videos being taken down for infringement. However, something that absolutely needs to be fixed is the captioning system. The captions are not easy to manipulate and often glitch when you alter them to add the correct or missing words from the ones generated by CapCut. You can’t pick a time to add a word or alter timing easily and, when you do, words go missing or get cut off and there isn’t an easy way to troubleshoot. It would be easier if you could add beats to your audio and edit the word for each beat to allow for more customization to the generated captions. This is honestly my biggest complaint and frustration with the app since I caption a lot of my videos and I often have to add my own text boxes to fill in what CapCut missed. I hope they fix this feature. If they do, it would absolutely be a 5-star editing software.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ CapCut absolutely deserves 5 stars. I use it for all of my edits, and it’s honestly the best editing app I’ve ever worked with. It’s easy to use for quick projects, but it also has advanced features that let me make detailed, professional-quality edits. The transitions, filters, and overlays look clean and modern, and the app makes it super easy to sync clips to music. I especially love how smooth it feels when lining everything up to the beat—it makes my edits pop and stand out in ways other apps just can’t. The customization options are endless, from adding text and effects to layering clips for more complex edits. I’ve gotten so much good feedback on the edits I’ve made, and I know CapCut is a big reason why they turn out looking so polished. The best part is that it’s free, yet it still feels like a professional-grade editing tool. If I had to name one small downfall, it would be that exporting longer edits can take a little time, especially when I use a lot of effects. But honestly, the results are always worth the wait, and it doesn’t take away from how amazing this app is overall. For me, CapCut isn’t just another editing app—it’s the tool that helps me bring my ideas to life and makes my edits look the best they possibly can.

So, I’m a very beginner editor and was happy to come across capcut seeing as that it was free and had great reviews. I have almost mastered this app completely and don’t want to leave and switch over to something that’s paid when capcut is doing things that every other editing service is doing. However, there is always room to grow, especially for the editors who’s skills are growing faster and wanting more. A few of my recommendations is having more advanced and better options for speed. Please add more filters (specifically in the border area), and add ones that are different and will give our videos good quality(I’m pretty sure y’all can come up with something!). I ask that we get more font options and allow us to use more than 1 animation for out fonts PLEASEE!! Those are just a few of my recommendations. Now, on to my concerns the app does lag a little, and constantly says that I’m out of storage and I delete a lot of previous edits just to make new ones, and I’m getting concerned that the app will just not be enough for me. It’s already taken up most of my storage andI really want it to be worth it, but all these glitches, lags, and thirst for storage is not going to make using this app worth it. First of all, I love this app so much, so in now way or form is this hate. I’d like to state some of my suggestions to improve CapCut! So the first suggestion I was thinking of is a feature where you can add graphs to you keyframes to make them look smoother. Another suggestion I have is more fonts. I do love some of the fonts you’ve provided us with, but I would love if there was a way we could upload our own fonts into the app. I’ve been thinking about this next suggestion for quite some time now, and I think it would be really effective and really improve this app! Maybe you could add a feature where we can make our own transitions? Now, I realize this might be a stretch, but hear me out: if we could make our own transitions, it would really increase our creativity skills. I know that other apps already have this feature, but I feel like CapCut is better, considering it’s 100% free! Oh! One more thing I’d like to mention. I was thinking you could add more mask shapes? Like maybe a feature where we could mask our own shapes? Ooh and maybe we could mask our clip and you could add a feature where we can have a glow effect around the masked area? I CapCut is a good app but I feel like I can’t really add sound because there’s not a lot of songs like that I know that I like on TikTok and I was like I was like cause my friend had this on her thing she edit her thing like her videos like a pro literally so I was just wondering if you could the creators of CapCut could like maybe add a little bit more sounds from TikTok like today I was looking at a CapCut to edit a video me and my cousin had made and then we were doing dancing in the dark and I searched up the song and it had a song but like it wasn’t that song so yeah this app is really good and I really expect better from it but I really had to give it to four stars I mean it’s not that bad I like it let me edit but like I feel like you could add more sounds I think that either I don’t know how to add a lot of sounds that I know or that I just don’t know because I’m not signed into TikTok I do just videos silly bloopers of me and my cousin yeah so I don’t know if this would be good but just if anybody could tell me or if you just don’t have any sounds because like I just don’t know how to like add more sound. and stuff so I was just wondering if that could be like if you could add more sounds are you just tell me how because I know there’s tutorials and I haven’t watch them yet but I feel like they’re not gonna work and stuff

I would love a more in depth audio editing interface, with mixers for the different layers that indicate the sound levels. I’d also love the ability to use an equalizer on any audio track individually along with audio filters (Having to extract audio from a video in order to add voice effects doesn’t count). This, along with the ability to change more render settings would be great. For example, changing the bitrate for the entirety of the video could be simplified using a slider that goes from “smaller size, lower quality” to “larger size, higher quality.” The ability to render in the background would also be a much appreciated feature as a lot of us who use CapCut to edit do so on our main device that we need to access, and on larger projects it’s impossible to get a render done. Even older devices are capable of background rendering. I’m sure many people would be willing to wait for a slightly longer render in favor of being able to use their phone or tablet whilst the render is being completed. (An indicator can be used to signal whether the render is ongoing, has failed, or has finished). One last thing. Im sure many would enjoy a precision movement tool that allowed for things like key framing to be more precise when changing the size of location of a clip.

Hellooooo! I’m Blossom and have been using the cap cut app for I think over half a year and it has been a pleasing experience! The app has great animations for clips, cute fonts, and endless effects that are added recently, same with stickers! I love this app so much, it helped me achieve so much showing my real self! I have an error that makes me rage so hard when I’m editing. In between layers or original clips it always lags when I click on “Play” To see how well it is so far. I’m actually making an anime edit right now and I’m experiencing this problem. I have first thought it was because of my tablets memory/storage waste but it wasn’t. I have been struggling seeing the real side of my creations, it is only smooth when I export it and watch it in my camera role. I will try to find my comment frequently to see a reply to fix this error, but overall this app is great. I even challenged my family to use it and they actually didn’t struggle with most buttons on what to press, I helped them out a bit. I am here giving it a 4 1/2 because of the lag, and I don’t want to switch into kinemaster while this error happens because of the water mark. And I have one last question, sorry to bother you😅 But my cap cut is waiting to be updated in the App Store and I don’t want to because since your creations can have the ending clip where it says “CapCut” and I’m afraid when I update there will be a watermark on the side of my screen which will end up in the update that I haven’t yet done. So my question is, will there be a watermark in the new update? If so, is there a way to unable it? That’s all I will write to your today! I’ve been using CapCut for over 2 years now and they’ve come a very long way. Having all the features correctly organized into their own groups is really helpful. I personally make edits for movies and recently I’ve come across lots of problems. My first problem was CapCut kicking me out of the app when I was trying to export an important video at 4k, 60fps. It kept kicking me out so I had to settle with the crappy lower quality version of my video. Second I had issues with many effects on CapCut where it would rather not work, not load, or just completely get rid of the project. 3rd and a very important thing is user feedback, when you select this option in settings it endlessly loads once you press send and I’m not ever sure if it actually sends. 4th Often my videos like fine when I’m editing it but the moment I export it random flashes about of beat frames and random audio bugs pop up everywhere. And my 5th and final problem is Pro, I have pro I thought pro just to figure out 50% of my videos wouldn’t load would be crappy or just structure up garbage. So for any developers who may see this. I’m begging you please take these things into account, spending money on something that is not going ti work is a scam and that’s what CapCut is feeling ti me right now.

Honestly, great features, convenient to use (with minor drawbacks), and very user friendly. Obviously, for more professional editing you would go to FinalCut Pro or Adobe Premiere, but those are more labor intensive and require time and skill to make nice videos happen. CapCut makes the process easier: you have music assets, auto captions, effects & transitions, filters, and good editing/retouching options—all in one place. Yes, you do have to get creative sometimes to achieve the final look you want, but if everything else runs smoothly, it’s not a deal breaker. Last star ⭐️ for me is a testament of trust and reliability. In good faith, I can’t say the trust has been regained yet. Once in a while I get to face a big problem with an app (like it may get confused about whether you are indeed a pro member and lock you out from exporting the project, or there can be some issue with a feature not working as it used to impacting the whole flow and editing expectations). I’d love to see CapCut team being able to implement prompt tech support. Hope the company has a good leadership with good intentions. Rooting for it. This software has a great potential of adding incredible value to the community. May the motivations and ethics continue to be in the right place. 🙏🏻

Simple, i think that CapCut is a great app and should be used by beginners. It is decently easy to navigate and only has a few glitches that drive me out of my mind. The only reason I did not give this app five is because it is structured a little goofily, and there’s no navigation tools to figure out how to adjust things, minus the tutorial which isn’t much help. Although this app may be superb, i do not like how much it lags. For example, if i were to write some text and paste something—a symbol etc; it would mess up the whole thing by putting the symbol in front if the text and also changing the structure completely if I tried to delete it. It’s almost delayed. Also, I don’t understand the whole background idea. I was attempting to make an introduction for my movie that I had to make for school. Simple, right? Wrong. I tried to put in a background and blur it out but it makes the photo that I had the background even though I was trying to put a different gradient backround. It’s confusing, and I had to watch like 8 tutorials trying to figure out how to put in a background without using other apps or ruining it completely. I love this app and I REALLY don’t like complaining but I have a temper as short as Kevin Hart and I physically will go insane if one thing tics me off.

I love CapCut, I’ve had it before the pro feature came out and all the new/recent features, but there is just one small thing I don’t like. I don’t like how almost everything in the app is Pro, like the fade in text animation. I always use that and I now I can’t because it’s pro, same with a lot of other effects and things like that! I understand that CapCut uses the Pro feature to make more money, but putting it on almost everything, including the things that beginners use is just annoying. Like might as well just make everything Pro at this point. CapCut is still a great app, I just don’t see how the Pro feature is helping anyone. I mean, it’s helping CapCut get more money from people who use it, but some people that use CapCut can’t buy the Pro feature, and that’s a big problem in my opinion. And a lot of beginners start out with using CapCut, and if they can’t use any good effects how will they ever enhance their video? They won’t. Unless they use another app like Video Star or something like that, but still that app does cost money to access things. So to end this review, I think the Pro feature should just be removed. And to make more money just boost up the price of the app and add better effects so more people will use CapCut.

This app is absolutely amazing and I use it the whole time for everything. I would give it 5 stars but I have 3 issues. 1. The search engine is really botching things up. When I search for something and a suggestion comes up, I’d click on it but, when I do, nothing that I put in shows up. It happens a lot and it’s very frustrating. Please fix this asap. 2. I’ve been receiving notifications that my comments have been removed when they were really nothing crazy. I’ve seen other users comment some really horrible things and they cuss a lot but the second I write a word either with asterisks for some letters or I leave some letters out, my comments get removed. CapCut , this is really not fair. Please look into it and maybe try doing something about all the hate/ cussing on the app. 3. You may think this is not so important, but I’ve seen so many hate posts made about Taylor Swift. To me that doesn’t seem right, when there are people who make it their mission in life to spread so much undeserved hate against her when she never did anything. Also I never see any hate posts for other celebrities. This is really not right and I’m begging you to look into it asap and do something constructive about it. Thank you so much for your time.

So when I want to like cut out stuff out of a pic it does and just says background and adjust but just does the filter but it’s good another one is that I can’t but my vids in CapCut and I signed in but it wouldn’t let me still get the pro stuff and keeps saying I need to sign in but I did and still no and it very good but a lot of pro stuff can u put more free stuff I would be very happy and and it is good but the intro I got from y’all was way to long and I wanted to know if y’all could like make us adjust video like if u want to make the intro short but if it is on CapCut then I must be stupid bc I’m new but it’s the best app and download it if u want to it’s were u get to see vids and u get to comment if ur signed in and talking about that can u let people that have been in CapCut for like two months chat in vids bc it’s unfair only the “pro “ people get to comment and I’m having trouble putting music on my vids but yea I might have a a lot of complaints but it the best editing app I have ever had that CapCut for being with me (btw it my first time editing) so thank you and yea I will keep practicing for the good and then I will make vids but I’m trying so thanks -sincerely ur bets fan!<3 Btw I love the fonts can u add more!?

So at first, I had really loved this app, but then I found out when you report something they don’t look into it anymore. Because I thought this was a five star but it’s not. I put a five star so you could see this. I was scrolling and found this girl posting inappropriate sexual stuff like for one I could see somebody’s nakedness and there was one video of somebody having sex. And when you unblurred the video, you could see her sucking on a man’s Penis! I reported it because it was sexual and violated the community guidelines. And every single person in the comment section un-blurred it so they could see the weird stuff on the video! Little kids on this app could see it. Little kids!! And they saw all of this. It is horrific and when I reported it, I got notified back that it wasn’t violating their community at all. but that is the biggest violation ever. What does your community not understand what little kids are looking at? This is disturbing and disgusting. And I swear to God, not one of these Sexual Creators have been taken down in months. What is wrong with your app? You need to fix it. If the developer sees this, can you guys look into the reports more because I don’t want little kids witnessing this.

I’m very happy with this app. I have been using it for a year now and have been able to make great things. There are a couple features I hope can be added. First of all we need to be able to add multiple animations to one clip. Currently I can’t fade in and then fade out the clip. I also can’t fade out a clip that has a fancier animation. I would love if i was able to favorite animations and apply the same animation to all clips. I would also like if the speed tool was better. Currently slowing down clips is very glitchy. Another suggestion is to add more font choices, especially ones similar to higher paying programs. It would be great if I could import fonts. You recently updated the camera focus effect and blur effect so that you can speed it up and add more blur but it’s still not the same. I would like for it to be able to look the same for shorter clips as I use that a lot. This way I can make edits that look more professional. I would like for me to be able to add multiple colors to the chroma key. I would like to be able to add multiple effects and animations to text and clips. And maybe something to improve the quality of my videos. Those are some of my recommendations. Some of the fonts show the fonts in another language. I would like for all of the fonts to be shown in the language i have set on the app or phone, for me English. My only other criticism is that it can be glitchy. Sometimes when I try to watch my video it pauses on a certain part and unfreezes later in the video. Although I do appreciate the lack of ads. In conclusion I do love this app. Please look at my suggestions I believe many people would benefit from them!!

This is the app I use to edit all of my videos. It’s a really nice app, but there are some things I wish they would change or add to the app. I understand that most every app has some sort or premium experience. It makes sense, you pay to get exclusive features. However CapCut continues to add things that are normal and were in the normal section to the exclusive section. And also whenever I look up a font for example, like bubble, it comes up with about 20 of only the exclusive fonts and maybe 5 regular ones. I think that at this point, they are trying so hard to get people to pay for standard features. Also, they have a scam going around with the “unwrap your one free year of pro” which is getting all exclusive features. It might sound nice, but every month they will email you to add pro to your plan and pay. When you tell them otherwise, they say that you are using pro service and need to pay although it’s supposed to be free. After that, they add you to the plan without having to click anything, when you start the trial, it adds you to automatic pay after the trial is over and there is nothing you can do besides cancel the plan once it has already charged your account. I really wish they weren’t so greedy about this.

The macbook verison is lacking a few features that were featured in the moblie version (at least for me) but over all it works pretty well on mac.

I've been using CapCut for over a year and a half and its awesome. It's so easy to use, everything is right there infront of you. This is the first editing app i've downloaded and it's still my favorite since its not complicatedd like other editing apps. You can find easy tutorials on YouTube if your stuck on anything or want to learn how to do cool transitions. I am glad that they added it on computers so now I can use capcut on everything! I love this app and I definetly reccomend it.

It's a very good app for begginer editors, i only use it for velocitys tho (i dont use the premade option.) One thing I don't like about this app is when i split a clip with motion blur or a sped down one it gets rid of the effect. I don't like in fact i HATE it! please fix this! I really do love the effects but the graphs are honstley kinda werid, everyone just uses like two graphs. It wouldn't hurt to make your graphs system more like the ones everyone is used too, (idk thats how i feel about the graphs syetem i think it's only me tho) It's honstley sad how many people just use it for velocitys tho i think's because of the premade options I've tried making transiton edits with it and it kinda works ig. I'd like to add about the masking i sorta don't like that we just get premade options I wish i could make them and like cut them out like in my other editing app (which will not be named) Anyway in to my last thought on this app, the template thing is very weird. people can just steal others edit's and just not give credit?? i don't know it just seems weird that people can spend a hard time on an edit just to get it stolen. So I think CapCut is really good. The only big problem is, is that all the good features are pro and I only bought this app instead of other editing apps because it was free and now I have to pay money for every single effect that is actually useful. Also, it’s a little bit difficult to tween especially now that they made the green screen effect a pro feature. Most of the features are really unique and I can’t find some of the features on any other editing apps, but most of the features that are really unique and some of the most useful ones I can’t even have access to them unless I pay money. Everyone’s been telling me to tween on alight motion and unfortunately, I think I might download it instead of CapCut and use it just for tweening because it’s really hard to tween in CapCut. It’s also very very complicated and the green screen affect is pro. So are almost all of the AI voices! also it won’t let you use some features unless you sign in which is completely reasonable but still it can be a little bit frustrating. I’ve been using CapCut for almost a year now and I think it’s actually pretty good but every single good feature being pro is a little bit much and I can barely use the app anymore because all the features that I used are now pro. I might switch to alight motion tbh. Although it is very good at editing, it’s not the best for tweening, even though it does have a tweening feature. If you’re buying this app to tween, don’t.

This editing app is pretty good, but there is three major problems that makes it very hard to edit. The first problem is that sometimes the sound clips out of my videos like it will play a little sliver of the sound then mute the whole entire video until you unpause it and pause it back and it will play a little clip of the sound that you have Then it will still mute. The next problem is that my videos are extremely laggy maybe it’s something to do with my iPad or my tablet I do not know, but it’s so laggy even when you play the video I don’t know what to do in this makes it extremely hard to edit the third reason and is that sometimes my video starts before it’s supposed to like the line where it’s supposed to play the video starts before the video is and then when I play it when it’s supposed to end the video still playing like what and also there’s a problem with y’all’s like templates every single time I tried to Download it into like your video things or press templates. It just says no Internet connection and I’ve tried solving these problems on my own, like resetting the app and resetting my iPad a bunch of times it doesn’t work and sometimes I try to go onto a different clip that I have and they have the same problems. This happens on all my clips and sometimes when I have when there’s an actual normal one, I click on it and I click on the thing back and it goes completely normal. Is this just me??

First off CapCut is extremely difficult to navigate, not easy to find anything or pages. Then they decrease the storage space so working on projects and saving them is troublesome. The nice features you can utilize but can’t publish anything or export video unless you either remove or buy premium. Why allow us to use them then? I utilized several and then had to search for nearly an hour to find the frames in question to remove the pro version to a free version. Also you can’t submit a video to the membership page unless it is 100% made from site. I imported stuff but used their templates and that wasn’t acceptable. Ridiculous nonsense. I also can’t see others work unless you follow them and they follow you, again foolishness. How can I get inspired or give inspiration if I can’t see anything from anyone else and they can’t see my stuff on this platform. I was looking to delete account and after a couple hours found the help button( this goes to navigating site) I utilized online help and it was explained how to remove pro features from video so I could export. Never did find out how to delete account. I’m still trying to get around all the pro nonsense and utilize the apps free stuff. They make it extremely difficult though. Until I find something similar without all the money hunger and restrictions unless paying for a premium membership I will utilize it. Be warned though CapCut, I’m searching for another app and the delete account option as well. Beware of the misleading claims.

Hello! before i get to the cons i suppose i shall list some of the pros first, this app is great for beginning editors!! the effects and transitions are smooth and easy to use and access. as well as the quality. it’s supper quick and easy to learn and overall is very nice for beginners and just people who don’t wanna use the more advanced editing apps! atleast, it WAS helpful for beginners. now moving on to the cons, capcut is slowly becoming more and more money hungry. the one thing that made every edit amazing in capcut. aka motion blur, is now pro, i think this is very unfair to everyone who just wants to make simple edits and doesn’t have the money to pay for pro every month. and or doesn’t want to, capcut you are slowly ruining your app by doing this, as well as making multiple effects pro that also helped other users, i think this is very selfish and annoying for all of us. and it should be changed, or else this could ruin your app and cause you to loose a lot of people using the app. such as myself, because i, including hundreds of others will be changing other platforms because of this update. and one more off topic thing. idk what happened to the graph settings, but they changed, and i miss the old pre set graphs, idk why they are gone now but if there is any possible way to bring it back that would be absolutely amazing. also PLEASE MAKE SMOOTH SLOW MOTION NON PRO 😭.

CapCut has been there for me whenever I need to make a video. Even though it is very good, it has some wrongs. Every time I go to make a video with the templates or just make one myself it says, ‘there is no internet!’ So I check my internet only to see everything else besides CapCut works, and that I can’t make a video. This happens constantly and it’s really annoying. Sometimes it works on my iPad but not my phone even though they are in the same house, and then sometimes it works on both, or my phone instead of my iPad. It would be very helpful if CapCut could fix this because it’s no use to even have to the app if it’s constantly doing this. Other than that, when it works, it works good. That was a review I wrote 4 months ago, and now I’m back writing another one. The other day I brought my phone to my mom’s house (where my iPad is) before that, my capcut had started working better but it did still say no internet every now and then. But when I got to my mom’s house with my phone, capcut on my phone and iPad didn’t work. I thought if I deleted the app on my iPad and redownloaded it, it would be better. I was wrong. I suddenly remember all my edits and so when I went back into capcut after reinstalling it, all my edits were gone. I was devastated and angry. Please make a feature to backup any lost edits 😭 also, since that day, capcut on my phone and my iPad hasn’t been working, not even one day for 3 weeks. It’s still telling me there is no internet. Please help me 🙏🙏🙏 I want my edits back 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Ok, I first downloaded CapCut in 2021 and I loved it, I was able to make simple but very cool videos with very smooth and brisk effects that I’d post on TikTok for people to enjoy. It became to be one of the apps I’ve used often or quite literally all the time to make videos on different platforms. It was all great until last year, when CapCut Pro entered the party uninvited. I didn’t think much of Pro until it was put on some of the features. I handled it since they were other things I could do to fix the problem. Until this year, where some of the features that I constantly use were Pro, that was when it became much harder to use the app because they were a lot of things that I couldn’t use like auto-background removal or smooth slow mo because of pro. Not only that, but they also remove other things and update way too often, it’s like everyday I’m using a different editing platform and it is quick for me to notice that something has changed. It all went downhill from here and CapCut still changes things, remove things, and make even more things pro and I can’t even use the app because it became such a cash grab by making you pay for a subscription just to be able to use the app. Because of all this, it is harder for me to post content and it’s making the people who watch my videos impatient. I might switch to another editing app because I know things are just going to get even worse. CapCut, I know you can do better because what have your turned into? 1 star.

Literally 95% of the app is pro like you have to pay for pro to use the majority of the app like I just found out that smooth slow motion is pro I literally use that for every single thing I make on there. CapCut I hope you know you aren’t doing a good thing you are literally ruining your app like eventually it’s going to cost a dollar every time you open the app because they literally beg for money they know that they have all these TikTok editors that use this app and they think that it’s ok to slowly make everything pro because editing is the only thing that some people do which is annoying because there’s a lot of people that can’t afford it like me I edit too and my parents can’t afford paying a total of 83 dollars a year like that’s ridiculous and no it’s not just you pay the 83 now then you don’t have to pay it until a year later you have to pay 6 dollars every month so for a family in the world they could only have 6 dollars to spend in their whole entire bank account and they have to spend it on this stupid, already rich, selfish app that you basically can’t even use without spending money because I’ve tried to make an edit without pro effects, transitions, animations, nothing pro at all and the edit sucked you literally need pro effects to make a good edit they literally left the sucky effects for the broke people the people that can’t get CapCut pro and they gave all the good, amazing, cool effects for the rich the ones that can spend 6 dollars every single month.

So first things first CapCut why did you delete all of my edits that I’ve been working on for two years with an account? Why what is the point of making an account through your app and connecting it to Instagram or TikTok if you’re not saving any of the work, and you didn’t even show me to get it back until a month later and you have a 30 day policy secondly, you are stupid for thinking that I’m going to pay for storage inside of an app when I already have storage on my phone I get it. You’re trying to get your money and trying to act like a big Baller but you were a free app at one point, don’t get it twisted just because your popular templates does it mean that you have the right to literally don’t have the right to add more unnecessary things to make your app bad and that’s the problem with you corporate companies once people start liking your app you start getting fake and switching up. Anyone could tell you having to pay for storage instead of an app that you don’t even need storage for, I’m not gonna pay my own storage and I only want to transfer my edits to my phone so that I can work on them on the go but also tell me if I have an account and I’m working on it and it has the same account same set up same everything is none of my edits for showing up on my device. What does that make? If I made it on the same account it should show up on the same account you act like I’m trying to sit up here and show it on a different account I have to fix I’m dead.

I am very annoyed with this app right now. It is a good editing app that can cook you up an edit in 10 minutes or less but, some tools are very difficult, confusing, and frustrating to use. For example, the drag option to move clips, text, overlays, effects, etc, is so annoying to use because they added a thing so it clips in to another clip or whatever you have and makes it super hard to make it the length that you actually want it to be, especially when you have a lot of them. I also want to talk about the custom speed and how it doesn’t let you do what you want to. This option is great and I use it very often but, it does not let you put it at the exact speed you want, instead, they make a random “max” every time you want to change the speed and you cant make it the right speed. For example, lets say you want the speed at 0.7 so you put it at 0.7 but instead, capcut has it’s own mind and decides to make you only be able to make it 0.5 and down. So in the end, you cant get the right speed you want. I hate when capcut does this and it needs to fix it immediately. Capcut is a good app but stuff like this made me not want to use this app ever again because it limits me from the things I want to do. I hope you don’t find this dumb and that capcut fixes this soon. Another example would be the mask option. When ever I let go of the screen when I’m editing the split line, the line goes away and I have to get it back again which is very annoying and makes it 100% impossible to use the mask tool. I have no idea if it’s just me but these things are really annoying and make me hate editing with this app.

I recorded an hour worth of gameplay with my mic on and when I put it in CapCut to edit, my voice disappeared.. like in the photos app, I can clearly hear my voice and I can hear myself speak but when I export it Into CapCut, my voice is gone. I just lost an hours worth of recording. Also this app is very buggy and very stingy when it comes to effects, transitions, animations, etc. EVERYTIME I use an effect(or anything for the matter) it’s standard… and when you do accidentally use a standard feature, you have to go through everything to find what that one feature was. Like at least show us where it is? I vividly remeber spending 30 minutes trying to find a standard sound.. like bro. I was also looking for another standardized feature called “reduce noise”.. wasn’t fun because I had to look through half an hour of audios to find that one little standard feature. Also, when I accidentally clicked on the standard purchase button or whatever, I clicked off but when I went back to my project, everyone was set to volume 0. I had to change everything back to its original volume… and there wasn’t even a “apply to all” feature. Everything in this app is standard.. breathing? Standard.. living? Standard.. everything just standard. And for those who don’t know what I mean by standard, it’s the apps way of saying premium.. pls don’t waste your time, storage, and energy on this so called “editing app” just use alight motion. This app couldn’t get more buggy or greedy. Have a NOT blessed day.

I used to love this app when it was simple and free completely because it was more friendly financially because you legit didn’t need to buy anything now 90% of it is behind an expensive paywall which if you’re someone with the money and want to buy it then go for it however, my issue is with the new terms of service because CapCut is supporting AI and using your work uploads to the app for ai so your voice, face everything that makes you you and everything that you take the time to create will be used for training AI. If you don’t see how this can be detrimental to the art and editing industry then let me give you some examples. People that use digital platforms for digital art and actually take the time to do it get told their work is ai, editors who work in the media industry or are looking to do so could lose said opportunity because of ai. Artificial intelligence is advancing at an incredible pace and while it has it’s benefits it is also detrimental (dangerous) to digital artists and editors especially if their content and their talent is being used to help a machine that will hurt their work their income and their talent. As an artist and editor myself i refuse to use a platform where my hard work and my ideas will be stolen and used to undermine mine and many others talent and patience. If the terms have updated to where this isn’t true then someone feel free to correct me or give me your take on it by me personally I will never partake in the usage of an app that steals your work is that it can be used to create a fake.

Capcut is alright but the part I HATE the most about it is that they made almost EVERYTHING pro it's become a BIG problem on the internet and if you don't fix this right now then you might start to loose more than a dozen accounts. Most people are saying how they think Capcut is money hungry and they are saying "Capcut is money hungry 💸" or "Capcut is DESPERATE for MONEY 🤑💸" and even "CAPCUT MADE EVERYTHING PRO 💸" they are saying that they recommend apps like: Cutecut, Kine Master, and many other editing apps. And I'm not saying you should remove pro (even though people would like that very much) and it's all over my fyp. I even have to start using templates and if you don't know what templates are they are basically editing models that you can use all you have to do is click on the template you like then it's gonna make you put your pictures. I don't even know what it's actually like to edit but sometimes I use a template then export it and edit it with free effects. Please oh please never purchase their pro subscription. I thought they would provide a basic decent customer service since we’re paying money… nope. I’ve been paying for the pro tier for a year until now. But out of the blue, I’ve received an account deletion notice because I’m “underage” (mind you, I’ve been paying until now so if CapCut really had me as a minor in their database, it means that they have no ethical issues with taking money from underage customers). Since it’s a mistake, I went through their appeal procedure. Their page doesn’t let me submit my appeal. I tried on all my devices, rebooted my network… still not working. So AFTER all these efforts, I contacted their support service. I took the time to provide all screenshots + explain the situation because I thought there would be a human being behind the email address. What I received appalled me: A one line answer telling me to appeal + a link to the page that I already tried and was not working. I was so shocked that I tried to send over 3 different emails with several points to test if there was actually someone reading them. Well, no apparently. The same answer. This angers me so much. I had important school homework what I was supposed to submit but wasn’t able to. I NEVER posted a review for an app before but I’m doing so to prevent other people to invest their money in CapCut. Capcut doesn’t deserve any of our coins if that’s how they treat customers who support their platform.

Can you give us an option to show us a version history’s to give us the old effects back or just put all of them back like what I mean is give an option to get back all back. And Who agrees with the old capcut? I like old better

Capcut is making most features pro when it advertises as a free app. as an editor, this isn’t good for free users. smooth slow motion was NEVER pro. on the mobile version, there are WAY too many ads especially when you exit the app. capcut used to be such a universally good app and it’s disappointing to see them adhere to making features paid than making it user friendly. i hope capcut can actually listen to their users and bring back features available and catered to ALL.

I just want to say that this app is like AMAZING. It’s free and like there are so many effects, it’s amazing. But when I edit it lags quite a bit and it wouldn’t play smoothly (but when exported its fine). It’s a little frustrating but it’s good. It’s a little tiring having to go back and forth because it just wouldn’t play properly. Please take a look!

I’ve been using this app for years, I’ve been paying for pro for over a year. Suddenly they tell me my account is going to be disconnected because I’m underage. I’m 33 years old. I made an appeal, sent them my driver’s license and everything. They tell me that it’s not good enough? How? All photos were clear and did what they wanted me to do. I have no broken any rules, I am of age. Customer service is absolutely terrible. Fix this CapCut!!!

So bad a lot of things were going good for until this year everything turned PRO and it keeps telling me storage if full when I barely have any photos except 6

I basically made a 1 min video that took me an hour to make and this CapCut pro shows up saying I gotta buy it for 9.99. I worked so hard on the video I made, this update sucks 100% please remove it!!

Needing pro for more features that were free months prior is getting ridiculous. And they also added a watermark (like YouTube) to when you download so nah, gonna drop this one.

The iOS app is great since it comes with premade templates which makes it easy for you to create awesome videos relatively easy. The iOS app lacks when it comes to the importing media (finding your photos is really hard) and the app also automatically trim some of the videos and photos imported- sometimes it doesn't even allow you to adjust them properly. (instagram for example allows you to zoom out a photo completly without trimming and applies a special background when you do that). When it comes to the MacOS app the app supports transitions and some effects, as well as basic video editing which is great, however I'd like for it to have the templates available on iOS since it'd make editing on a Mac a smooth processs.

This update ruined the app by removing all the good parts and adding CapCut pro, just remove CapCut pro

At first everything was free in its early days, then pro came around and ruined the whole app.

CapCut is getting ridiculous with how money-hungry it’s becoming. It used to be this amazing free editing app that gave you all the tools you needed without any hassle. Now, they’ve locked so many essential features behind a paywall, constantly pushing their CapCut Pro subscription. The worst part? They’ve started putting watermarks on exports unless you pay, and they bombard you with ads and upgrade reminders every time you try to edit. It’s so frustrating because it feels like they’re milking their users instead of just keeping the app as accessible as it used to be. Honestly, the subscription prices are steep for what you’re getting, and it’s super annoying to see features that used to be free suddenly locked. They’re ruining what made the app great in the first place.

I'm gonna be honest, capcut is over doing it with "capcut pro". Everything that used to be free is now capcut pro, take motion blur as an example, I was using the app recently and just updated it to see that it's now only for pro users. Please fix this, you're overdoing it.

It’s 100x harder to remove backgrounds cause these idiots made it so you have to do it manually. Please bring the auto remove background feature back for normal CapCut users🙏

Okay first off WHY IS EVERYTHING PRO?! WHAT THE HELL MAN?? ARE YOU GUYS THAT MONEY HUNGRY?!

It’s frustrating to buy a subscription for an app, expecting to use it for content creation, only to get banned for supposedly not meeting the age requirement. (I’m 21) Very disappointed, and I can’t even get my money back… If you’re going to ban me, at least do it before I make the purchase next time.

You make everything pro, this used to be a decent editing app that was free and now you literally just want money. After these updates people are just going to uninstall your app because paying $17 a month is insane. I just want the old CapCut back, where you weren’t money hungry and you didn’t have a huge credit on the screen. “But oh you have 7 free uses of no credit!!” oh yay I’m jumping for joy. Most editors I know advertise your app in their bio anyways, whether it be tiktok or insta, you aren’t losing money from not being credited, you’re losing money from people uninstalling your app because they’ve realized it’s not worth the money. You used to advertise your app as free, this isn’t free, this is money hungry jerks that don’t even care. I shouldn’t be surprised because every other editing app is like this, but to anyone reading this review that wants to download the app, don’t. You’re better off spending your money on an actual good editing app like after effects.

Just updated to the most recent version, and I am now unable to import clips and audio through the app. I have to go into finder and drag the clips into my media library on the app. While this definitely isn't the biggest issue in the world, it is still pretty annoying sometimes. Would add an additional star if this is problem gets resolved! Overall, it's a pretty great app — I just wish it was a bit more efficient! :)

It’s sleek, intuitive and packed with features perfect for creators and small businesses, but after reading their updated terms of service, I will no longer be using this app, and I strongly urge others to do the same if you upload or sync your content to CapCut cloud even if it’s a private draft, you’re granting byte dance an unlimited irrevocable worldwide license to use modify, monetize, and even sell your videos, including your voice, your face and your name without compensation or not notification. You can’t revoke this license, even though if you delete your content or account that means your personal or client videos can legally be used by them in ads, training data, or anywhere they choose forever. There is no opt out and there is no way to limit what they do with your uploads once you sync them this kind of overreach is unacceptable especially for creators, professionals, and anyone who values control over their own content if you care about privacy, copyright or creative ownership avoid CapCut at all cost. There are better free alternatives out there that respect your Rights like VN Canva or da Vinci resolve. CapCut functionality is not worth sacrificing your content ownership.
