Finally, 5 stars.There were some growing pains for me as a previous user of mccPilotLog. The new desktop software and the mobile app were a mess. I couldn’t get the totals to equal what was on the old software and the mobile app would just hang and never finish syncing. So I would give up on it and just continue using the old mccPilotLog software. Every few months I would try CrewLounge PilotLog again and see if the bugs were fixed. They never were. Until now. Finally I’m happy to report that last week I gave it another try and everything worked like expected! The totals on the new software matched exactly to the old mccPilotLog and the mobile app synced quickly. I can finally feel comfortable deleting the old mccPilotLog software and fully switching to the new CrewLounge PilotLog..Sluggo63Version: 5.2.24

Still needs improvementsThough this new version is much better than the previous ones, there are still issues with Sync between devices. On a separate issue, I uploaded my planned roster for December, from the iPad and it changed all flights from 2 months ago, even though I selected to download the month of December only. Took me two hours to fix everything. Very disappointing and frustrating. Also, on iPad, dare and plane registration number overlaps when on Flight screen. Unable to read either. On my last review I gave one star. Now it is 3. I will give this developer one more chance before I move on to a different product. Customer service takes forever to respond. Finally back on TOPAfter a false start and premature release the 5.2 version of Pilotlog finally works :) This software is fantastic and there have been many improvements made. I’m really looking forward for the development team to now focus on added features going forward. I have to note that although the past few updates have been frustrating to work through, the actual database has never been affected. Back to a great software!The app and desktop version had a very rocky year since the implementation of the new software. The previous app and the desktop 5.0 version had some serious bugs. This new app and the new 5.2 desktop have worked like the old MCC software, very smooth so far! Fantastic compatibility between devices!I was a mccPILOTLOG user so this new and updated version is great! I love having the ability to add in my hours on different devices, which is such an upgrade from the old system. Customer Service is awesome!I was a MCCpilotLog lifetime user and accidentally overpaid for the 5 year when I made the jump to Crewlounge (all I had to do was pay for the 3 year for the lifetime to carry over). Exceptional Pilot LogI have used LogTen and Safelog before this app. This one blows them out of the water. It works flawlessly and I love the auto import feature from ACARS and ADS-B. Happy pilotLove my experience so far with Crew Lounge. I worked for a Regional and now work for a Part 121 cargo company and CL makes logging my flights simple. My current company uses eCrew for our roster and CL can pull my flights in from that app which makes logging very fast. LogbookI encountered an issue with the time difference between my desktop application and phone. The support team was excellent; they responded within 24 hours and provided a detailed explanation of how to fix it. I’ve also transitioned from the MCC pilot log and understand the frustration of individuals leaving negative feedback. However, I believe those using the MCC logbook had the opportunity to obtain a lifetime subscription by paying for three years or something similar. I really appreciate the app; it’s incredibly user-friendly. Horrible interface and non-intuitive stepsMan I thought the last application was hot garbage but this is somehow even worst. One of the main features is the "cloud" sync which doesn't even work. The only thing about it is that they can use it numerous times in their useless user guide and FAQ. Edit: After using the app for about a month now there are other issues that have came up. The phone app and desktop app have different settings and there are missing options between the two of them. So this means that preferences for how the date is presented as well as numbers is not available on the phone app and it will reset the settings on your desktop app until enough cloud saves are done to override it. One universal setting through the website would be best if this approach is to be used. Furthermore, the number of devices is limited to 5 but the number used by the cloud settings is 1 more than what the user has. i.e. user has an iPhone and desktop but the website counts 3. This could be fixed by having (userDevices - 1) which all beginning programmers learn. Sorry for the rant but this just shows how the programmers aren't experienced and their app is rudimentary at best. Updates are near meaningless and implement very little change. Can’t export or printI thought it was great until I needed to print. Despite their help desk telling me the same thing that I said isn’t helpful, I can’t figure out how to print. I can’t even figure out how to export to email to print or at this point export to another logbook. I have an interview coming up and now I feel like this is a total loss. I think it has to be done from a desktop but my Mac won’t let me open it after downloading because it says the software is old and apple can’t check it for viruses. So many lost hoursJust updated to the new version on my phone. iPad had slightly older version. Laptop has newest version. Spent 2.5 hours updating flights. Laptop changes won’t sync to phone app, but they will to the iPad. iPad changes won’t sync to laptop. Phone changes will sync to the laptop.... It just doesn’t work right. Tried to follow the guide to force a sync and ended up overwriting everything back to where I started. 2.5 hours wasted. I wish this was just a one time experience, but there seems to always be an issue when I use their software. If it is syncing to the cloud, then why will 3 devices all have different information. GarbageAbsolute garbage. Had the lifetime membership when they used to be MCC logbooks. I had to pay for another “lifetime” membership fee when they updated their app. It was fine for a while until I really needed it to work and got THE CALL for an interview with a major airline. A dream opportunity. As I was updating my logbook four weeks prior to the interview, the app on my PC suddenly crashed. I kept getting an error message and all my flights were gone. I tried using my backup from a few days prior with no success, tried the backup from a month prior with no success, and then I tried using the app on my phone. Again, no success. Well, four weeks should be plenty of time to get help from the developer to resolve the issue right? Wrong! They took two weeks to respond to my email. I would have called them but they didn’t have any phone number on their website. When I finally got a response from them I was very clear that I needed this problem resolved ASAP and that I had an important interview in two weeks. The tech assured me that they would help me resolve the problem quickly. I just needed to send them the error message along with the app data. They took another two weeks before they finally responded with a “We have good news! We are releasing a new software build.” Completely and utterly useless. Horrible customer service. Complete waste of money especially having to pay TWICE for a so called lifetime membership. DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR LOGBOOK WHEN YOUR CAREER DEPENDS ON IT! Fortunately, I was able to send my backup file to another app called Safelog and they were able to get my logbook transferred two days before I had to travel for my interview. Safelog literally sent me a response within 15 minutes when I explained my situation to them. This app is a horrible with even worse customer support.
