LADDER Strength Training Plans Positive Reviews
Great Workouts - Team Limitless is Amazing!I started using Ladder a few months ago and I absolutely love it. I’ve been lifting weights for years, but one of the things I like about Ladder and Coach Kelly is the workouts include exercises that I would have never done on my own (looking at you, single leg deadlifts), but have really balanced out my strength. My lower back especially is much stronger than it was before I started using the app. I think it’s a great way to get past training plateaus. The other great thing about the app is that you can prove your progress, since there’s a detailed journal function that allows you to input weight, rep count, and more for each set. Ladder then will estimate your one-rep max and tell you when that number has increased over time. One other great feature that I use when traveling or when the gym is simply too busy for the prescribed exercise: swapping out for other similar movements. The app makes it extremely easy to do this: for a given exercise, you can modify by choosing body weight or cables instead of the original method, or you can simply switch to something else that hits the same muscle group and movement. The coach can also recommend swaps so you can easily choose an alternative. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the app and I think the membership cost is worth it (at $15 a month when paying annually) because you get dynamic programming from a knowledgeable coach. Most of the coaches in my area would cost upwards of $60 per training session..Version: 3.7.0
LOVEI DESPISE home workouts, getting on the ground and doing crunches or burpees makes me want to cry and I ALWAYS give up on my fitness goals. I'm someone who needs a coach of some sort to push me as I have no motivation to do it myself. I saw coach Kellys Ladder ads on tiktok and I splurged. It's a big deal for me to actually spend money on a workout app especially one where I'm working out at home where I have to make myself accountable. I've had the app now for about a year and I'll never go back. I've collected equipment for my garage (I have a small space and make it work) so it's totally doable for at home workouts. You can choose from so many coaches to help fit your personal interests/needs and can always switch if you feel they're not the right fit. I also love how yes, the coach has pre-recorded videos BUT they're also present and listen/respond to you in the group chat. My coach (coach kelly) posts a daily video to the chat so it's not like other apps where it's recorded and uploaded to the app and left there until they do an update on the app if that makes sense. My coach listens to our opinions and concerns and will adjust the workouts as we go if she's got enough feedback from everyone. I love the group chat where you can talk, ask questions and hype up your teammates and the "cheers" button you can select to cheer on your teammates while they're working out is great. I've lost weight and gained muscle after having my third baby and I'll never go back. Coach Kelly for life!.Version: 2.1.8
Perfect at-home workout!Like many people these days, I’ve had to move all of my workouts to at home and I’ve been trying a ton of things to maintain my practice. This app is honestly my holy grail right now. The design is beautiful and the interface is so easy to use. I have never been a big “workout community“ person and typically preferred doing my own thing at the gym. I’m not even a big social media person and didn’t expect to need or even like the teams aspect of this. All that said, the community feel of this app really takes an already amazing service up a notch. My coach, Taylor, is super responsive and supportive, and she offers modifications and ideas to suit your particular circumstances. The chat feature with my “teammates” really does push me to be better but also helps me to know I’m not in this alone. It’s a great way to feel motivated while still maintaining the social distancing we’re all trying to obey. I’m finishing up my second week and I already feel stronger and swear that I’m seeing more muscle definition. I realize this app is in early days and there are some (very) minor bugs the Ladder team is working out, but nothing takes away from the positives of this for me. They’re making changes and improvements as we go and every decision is thoughtful and geared towards a better workout and team experience. If you value flexibility, want to push yourself, get stronger, and feel the support of a great coach and positive team behind you, give Ladder Teams a shot! I think you’ll love it, too..Version: 1.0.6
Absolutely in LOVE with Ladder and the results!I have been in and out of the gym for years with a couple years break in between. With some lifestyle changes and goals I wanted to reach I finally wanted to get serious about strength training and decided to giver Ladder a try. I tried to plan my workout but I felt like I needed more professional guidance and coaching that was more accessible. I have been using the app for a little over 5 weeks and I’m definitely seeing results!! I love the companion app for the Apple Watch which makes it so easy to navigate through the workout sessions. I’m currently on team Evolve with Coach Samantha and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER!! I feel like the qualifications of all the coaches (especially Samantha’s) are so impressive and instill confidence in the program. I love the modifications that the coaches are able to provide if you have certain conditions that prevent a certain movement. I love seeing everyone’s progress in the chat portion of the app and I (while I’m not very active in the chat) love my little community! Overall, I feel like this app is such a game changer in reaching my strength training goals combined with my efforts in losing some poundage (I’m currently 5’4” at 230lbs) and has helped me look forward to every workout. Being a former couch potato I can confidently say Ladder has made me into a gym girly. I honestly can’t say more good things about Ladder, Coach Samantha, Team Evolve and am so grateful for this app! 💛💚.Version: 1.28.4
Best workout app, hands down.I have used almost every fitness app out there, but this app, without question, is the best fitness app you will find. The coaches are so good at creating programs that are challenging, different, fresh, tall while creating great results. The coaches are also very charismatic, which is a huge plus! I follow most on social media and they’re a lot of fun! I gifted this to my pops (60) for Christmas, and he’s loving it too. I can’t wait for Sunday evenings to see what my week is going to look like. I’ve done Coach Sam and ReignTrain, both have given me exactly what I was looking for and appreciate the attention to detail each put into the program. You can tell they aren’t just throwing workouts together, they have so much intentionality in their programs. Having access to so many great trainers is great too, because it allows the coaches to create programs that aren’t one size fits all like most fitness apps strive for; instead, it’s “here’s the goals my programs will help you achieve.” Lastly, you feel a part of a community. Everyone, not just the coaches, are encouraging and motivating. This app has found the best balance of technology, social, and fitness that’s out there. I’ve counted, I have tried over 50 apps this past year, and without question, this is the best one. I don’t even own an iPhone, I use my wife’s old phone just so I have access to this app. Great work everyone involved, and thank you!.Version: 1.15.2
Eases Gym Anxiety!I love Ladder so much! I’ve been using it for a few months now, and I’ve already gotten the yearly subscription. I don’t see myself every using anything else to work out. My struggles with the gym have always been having directive, a variety of workout ideas, and general motivation. While a personal trainer is great, they’re insanely expensive (I live in LA). I love workout classes, but I also don’t feel much holding me accountable to showing up for those either. Plus, I prefer weight training. Ladder is the perfect combination and solution! Because I’m spending money on the membership, I feel more motivated to get my money’s worth and actually use it. Now when I go to the gym, I know exactly what I’m going to do and how long to do it for. My amazing coach, Aria, has videos that walk through each exercise. She also mentions common mistakes, what you’ll feel in your body if you’re doing it wrong, and how to correct it. I assume all the coaches do this. It’s like having your own personal trainer, but significantly cheaper and less awkward! There’s also active rest days with different core workouts, stretches, cardio exercised and yoga. And with the annual membership, you can switch teams whenever you want and get a huge variety of exercises if you aren’t feelin’ it with your coach or just need a change up. I’ve turned all my friends onto Ladder. There’s a one month free trial if you’re skeptical. Seriously, everyone needs to try this app!! I’ve made so much progress in just a few months, even my coworkers have noticed..Version: 2.7.7
Worth the moneyOn top of a very pricey gym membership I also subscribe to ladder because it helps me get the most out of my gym membership. I’m on team Limitless and couldn’t be happier with it. Coach Kelly’s programs challenge us in new ways each week and there is never a plateau, which I would certainly run into myself without the help of a personal trainer. I didn’t realize the level of athletic conditioning I was in for, and I’m super excited about it. Hiring a trainer in person always seemed like a daunting task to me but with Ladder it’s something I KNOW I can commit to each week with the flexibility to work out at home with dumbbells or at the gym with full equipment. Kelly incorporates modifications to every program to give you that flexibility. The interactive aspect of our team chats is also highly motivating, as we all keep each other up to date on our progress and failures, ask for advice, and give tips. Having a support system is invaluable in keeping yourself accountable, and not letting setbacks or gym anxiety keep you from reaching your goals. I will definitely continue subscribing because the app itself knocks it out of the park, but couple that with the ability to find a group that you vibe with and it’s really a no brainer if you really want to progress past your known limits and surprise yourself with what you can do. Even if I was forced to cancel my gym membership, I would still keep ladder..Version: 2.0.10
You won’t regret itI’ve been given the pleasure to work with Lauren before Body and Bell was created, and I’m so happy I continued on. Your workouts drop every Sunday so you can plan the rest of your week (optional days are given, you learn to listen to your body ‘do I push for another day or do I need a rest day?’, the fact that all you have to do is press start is mind blowing, her voice is recorded over demo videos so you know exactly what you’re doing every step of the way! Plus focus on weekly goals whether it’s nutrition or just life things in general. You’d be surprised how very not different we all are from one another, the group chat blows up with people you can relate to that share your same journey. I’m a mom, a wife and a busy nurse, the last thing I want to do is plan out my Workouts. B&B takes the stress of having to make my own workouts or search endlessly on the internet to make a workout for myself, most days I have no one to watch my little one while I go to the gym this program is very at home workouts or gym friendly (you’re still going to get a sweat and that hr up no matter the setting😉) Lauren programs workouts to meet you wherever you’re at regardless of how long the programs been running. I had to take 2 months off due to medical stuff, but when I jumped back on it met me where I was at exactly in that moment and fast forward to now my body has progressed since. I’ve never had a workout I’ve ever regretted, always end the workouts feeling a lot better than when I hit play ♥️🔥💪🏽.Version: 1.9.0
Game changer!I have spent a couple thousand dollars working with trainers in the gym. You know the deal, get a good workout once a week and tips for the rest of it. This is so different. It’s 6 workouts a week following a program. I stopped working out for a long time and got really out of shape. I tried to jump back in on my own thinking I could remember everything that helped in the past. I was thinking about getting a trainer but couldn’t justify the cost. I saw this app on TikTok and signed up for the trial. I first joined team Limitless with Kelly. She’s freaking amazing, I follow her socials still, and her workouts are great! However my goals are to lose weight quickly and get more into running so I switched teams. I joined Project Alpha with coach Sam. I’ve been following his workouts 4-6 days a week. I am so shocked at how fast I’m changing! My mobility is improved, I’ve lost a visible amount of weight and I feel great… and I’m only in my 4th week! And it’s not just a workout routine.. it’s a community! You have a team chat with people sharing their own goals and struggles to help you push through and then you have your nutrition and equipment chats. With those chats you connect with everyone on the app regardless of their team! Give it a try. Test a few trainers. You do not need a gym for a lot of these workouts! The welcome videos will be clear about what to expect. Give it a try! I’m obsessed..Version: 1.22.1
Stronger no matter where you goI joined the Strong New York team in the early stages of the shutdowns that happened state and country wide. I heard the app get some attention from Men’s Health and other health and wellness forums I follow. Figured I’d give a shot since gyms were closing and unsafe to go to. Needless to say, I have not been disappointed at all. Coach Kenny’s program of Strong New York is right up my ally for personal fitness goals I have. There are plenty of options for coaches to train with and also exercises in general. The programs are structured in a way that make workouts fun and adaptable. You can tailor any of the workouts to your body type, strength level, or overall goals. But the best thing about the app is that it goes wherever you go! Literally a coach and trainer in your pocket. Take them to the gym. Take them to the park. Take them to your basement. Take them on vacation! Doesn’t matter where you are so long as you have some basic equipment to get your by. A lot of my groups exercises can be done with a set of kettlebells/dumbbells, resistance bands, a suspension trainer, and your body weight. I owe a lot to my team and the coaches of this program/the developers of this app. They’ve all made me stronger, faster, and more mentally tough. The most important thing is that I’m having fun with this and enjoying the process of trying to be my best self. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone!.Version: 1.15.4
Amazing app!I’ve tried a ton of workout apps, I’ve bought programs from instagram trainers, I’ve tried to write my own programs, I’ve had a personal trainer, none of it has made me as consistent in the gym as this app. I’ve been using it for nearly 8 weeks. When you sign up, you select a team. I selected team transform because Coach Shelby knows how to build up your glutes (and that’s what I’m going for). Her voiceovers during the workouts make me laugh and smile and it encourages me beyond my expectations- me, doing abs and cardio? What? That’s thanks to coach Shelby. I’ve learned a lot of new exercises. The design of the app while you are working out makes it effortless and I stay dialed into my workout the whole time. I’m able to track my progress and engage with my team in a team chat. Best and most unique of all, people on your team can cheer you on while you are working out, there is nothing like being about to quit on the treadmill and someone sends you a cheer - your whole screen is filled with an emoji of their choice, a cute sound effect, and their profile picture so you know who sent it - it keeps you going. Overall, I want to applaud the team of engineers, designers, and even product managers that built this app, great job everyone (please don’t mess up again like removing the gorilla from the cheer options)..Version: 3.0.10
Former D1 AthleteHi all. I hope this review helps. Ladder has been the best app I have found in a long time. I’ve used workout apps a lot in the past after playing football. I’ve never really found something that I wanted to stick with. After I saw coach Corey’s ad on Insta I thought I’d give it a try. The fact that I don’t have to make and plan my own workouts has been game changer. But this isn’t Ladder’s bread and butter. Yes there are other apps out there do that. However, having coach Corey talking to you during the workout, making jokes, daily facts, encouraging you to hit heavier weights, and even helping new people who aren’t avid gym goer’s encouragement to seek out a spot has made the gym experience when I go by myself so much more enjoyable. I can wake up, know what I’m hitting, and be in and out of the gym in an hour. The psychological tools they’ve built in in terms of taking a photo everyday, the check marks for competing workouts and badges greatly increases the want to keep chasing the next workout. They even have other trainers for other workouts that you may be interested in such as HIIT or yoga etc. They even have a community of people that you can talk to in your team that help answer questions or provide you with support on your fitness journey. Being able to get nutrition advice along with the workouts has allowed me to drop 10lbs already and I can see an improvement in my physique. I will 100% swear by this app. Now you wont be able to just download the app and then get in better shape. You will have to put in the work and show up everyday. It’s a great app and I tell everyone I know that works out to use it. 10/10.Version: 2.2.8
Team FormationI started ladder the end of August 2023 I love it so much. Only thing is I wish it was a bit more personal so I went off and hired a personal trainer a month ago end of September 2023 but continued my journey with ladder. During my first two wks of my personal trainer I backed off from ladder and switched to my personal trainers workout app however I truly missed ladder so now I’m back doing both! I love the update on ladder btw and how it integrates into my Apple Watch! If you want to see results your in the right place. I tried three teams but definitely like coach Robbin best team formation is for me! Check it out! Stay committed and consistent and the results will come! I went from not working out or using my gym membership I had for three years to now going to the gym 5-6 days a wk some times twice a day and becoming addicted to working out! I went from not having a but to actually having one and I’m down almost 36 pounds in 3 months!!! Come join our team and utilize that trial! When I first started I couldn’t even get my knees on the floors when doing lunges. Now I do them constantly without a problem! You will be amazed at how far you can go with this app. This is my experience with ladder but it a fast growing app helping tons of people out there with similar goals in mind! Give it a try!!!.Version: 2.0.2
Wonderful workout-at-home app and workout family!I have been a part of the fitness app journey since 2020 and have explored many options. I stumbled across LADDER about a month ago, after seeing numerous posts on social media about it, and decided to give the free-trial a go; I absolutely fell in love with the weekly workout concept (you have access to all of the workouts for the week and can choose which days you want to do them and they change weekly keeping you from hitting plateaus and getting bored), you have the ability to track all forms of nutrition, but I think the most important aspects about LADDER are the community and coaches. I have never come across a platform where the coaches are so involved in motivation and answering users questions and being that involved. The community is so uplifting as well and everyone is able to communicate with each other and cheer each other on. I have always been a big believer (and lover) of mixing Pilates with weight training (the results are absolutely INCREDIBLE) and finding out that this app had a team and coach solely dedicated to this style just made me so happy! If you love community, involved coaches and amazing workouts, definitely give LADDER a shot! And if you love Pilates AND weight training, check out Team Define and Coach Maia!.Version: 4.3.0
Funny StoryI love Hilary Duff and everything she’s accomplished in her life. Seeing her comeback and rejoin the music industry and finding out she also likes fitness as a win win. I immediately had to try the app and ended up subscribing even before the trial period was over. I’m on my 24th workout. I haven’t been consistent in five years, at least not since I had my baby. As a single parent finding a routine and trying to make time for the gym on top of everything else I had to do was hard. Yes, plenty of people make it work but when you’re working three jobs and still have to take care of the home chores once you’re home, it’s a lot. I’ve been consistently getting up at 4:30/4:45 every day. You guys can thank my admiration for Hilary Duff for getting me to try the app, but I’ve stayed because of my own dedication to making my life better, and it starts with Me. To be a better mother to my child and be able to do things with her more I need to focus on myself as well and make time for me. This app has allowed me to do that. Yes there are a million free apps out there that offer the same workouts etc. This just really like the overall feel of this app. I recommend it 100%. Hilary was the push I needed to get back into the workout game and now that I’m back I hope I won’t be stopping anytime soon. I have chronic pain issues from my time in the Military so I’m proud to have made it 24 days so far without stopping yet. I’ve been feeling better and have had more energy than I’ve had in years. Though sleep deprivation be real- if you know you know. What’s even better is my 5 year old wants to do these with me. All in all this product and advertisement was a win in the end for me. Thank you!!!!!.Version: 4.7.1
Life changing!I joined Lauren Kanski’s Body&Bell program when the team first launched, and I have no words for how incredible it has been. I was an avid exerciser pre-Ladder, but it was always challenging to find a program that focused on strength training and progression. This app is that and SO MUCH more! The workouts are thoughtfully programmed by one of the best trainers out there. You have a week of workouts set for you every Sunday, which takes the guessing game and thought out of “what should I do at the gym/to workout today?” which is honestly like half the battle for most people. These workouts have me in the best shape of my life and I’m doing exercises I used to avoid due to injuries. I used to be in pain after running or rowing, and since sticking with this program my body is the happiest. The fact that I can do it at the gym or at home is a life saver during covid and quarantine. There’s a chat feature which has brought people all over the world together where we share recipes, motivational tricks, ask questions (Lauren is quick to respond and highly informative!) and most importantly keep each other accountable. I highly recommend this app and particularly Body&Bell for anyone. You get a week free, what’s to lose?! Thank you Ladder and Lauren for making exercise available and effective in the virtual space! 🔥💪🏻👏🏻⚡️❤️.Version: 1.7.1
The Holy GrailI think I’ve tried every fitness app that exists at some point or another. I was a beach body member for a few years back in my early 20s. Then followed Bigger, Stronger, Faster for a year or so with awesome results in my early 30s. When I got bored with that, I tried probably 2 dozen apps over the last few years, and usually found myself going back to Fitbod (which I ended up going back to bigger/faster/stronger plan, but used Fitbod to help track progress and try to help me swap some movements out here and there when I got bored). Then I found Ladder. While I’ve been longtime Fitbod user, I always struggled deciding whether to keep subscribing or not, and always hated making that payment because I wasn’t really getting everything I wanted out of it, but I just couldn’t find anything better. After the Ladder free trial period ended, I never paid for something so fast in my life, and with zero regrets. And that was even before I found my favorite/perfect program . I liked the one I tried during the trial, but it wasn’t until I found Crews Control that I was 100% happy with the app (shoutout to Coach Andre). The app is amazing. The programs are top notch. Small features that Im sure were difficult to figure out how to implement, like swapping out movements in programs, or changing movements depending on what equipment you have, make a world of difference. I honestly cannot think of a single complaint or any feedback I could give to improve, it’s truly flawless. They clearly invested a lot of time and money into the app and the programs, and I’m just happy they are apparently making enough money from subscriptions to keep it going, because I’ll gladly keep paying..Version: 3.2.2
Best Workout App out there!I joined Ladder Teams (specifically Body & Bell) to stay motivated and have new workouts to look forward to each day/week, and also accelerate my love for kettlebellsI didn’t expect to be a part of a community when I signed up and it’s been the hightlight of my life (especially during this time). Each day and week I look forward to the workouts, hearing what people are saying and knowing that we are all in this together. The support from the coaches (Lauren and Meghan) along with the members is what make this app and form of training completely different than other workout apps (believe me, I’ve tried them all and this is the only one that has kept me interested and looking forward to more, it’s the only workout app I’ve stuck to and have committed to). The coaches are easily accessible and provide real time support, you feel like they are with you the entire workout, motivating you to do your best. Each week a new set of workouts are released and they are always changing it up which makes wanting to do the workouts even more exciting. I’d recommend this app to anyone who is looking to change up their fitness routine, looking to challenge themselves, and who also want to be a part of an amazing community and group of people..Version: 1.3.1
This is it.Been training consistently for 15 years now, and when I say I was skeptical of this app and program - I truly mean it. I have gotten so used to the low level influence driven scammers marketing in the health and fitness industry that I almost didn’t look twice at this app before trying it. BUT, I am so dang glad I did. After the free welcome workout and getting to play around with the app I saw some potential. After day 5 in the app before my trial period even expired I purchased the whole year without hesitation. Now, the “why”. I started with traditional strength and conditioning back in high school football days and fell in love with training and its science as a young man. Once in the military, got introduced to bodybuilding and powerlifting and truly found out what I was capable of. Got out of the Army, and went back to all the traditional push pull splits that I had always done, and while they’re effective, I eventually got really bored and underwhelmed to train. Enter Ladder, the end all solution. First off, it doesn’t matter what type of training you prefer, it’s all here, and provided by coaches that aren’t just here to blow smoke. I’ve tried a few of the women’s circuits and got absolutely wrecked by the Pilates integration, and love the variety of HIIT, bodybuilding, strength and conditioning, and minimalist style workouts. The app tracks all the data you need which then really pushes you to grow with accurate feedback on percentages and reps. I showed a few of my long time lifting buddies this app, and they’ve all since purchased it as well. Phenomenal job on bringing a completely new platform of personal training to the masses..Version: 2.2.8
Hands down best decision to join! This app is perfect. I actually added the app in Oct 2022 but LIFE with a few deaths, selling and buying a home…. As I approached my 50 something birthday, caseload at work more demanding and my caregiving duties increased with my mom (dementia) my stress levels were through the roof while I felt like I was aging exponentially. Woke up one morning and committed. Team Movewell with Coach Nicole has changed my life. On my 12th week of consistent workouts - at least 3 per week. Her encouragement along with your teammates cheering you on is great motivation. You don’t have to decide what you are going to do. Arm day and guessing what moves you should do? This program just sets it all up for you. Turn in the workout for the day and GO! Also you can move around the week. Or do more than 1 workout a day. And even repeat a day. You can journal your weights / reps if you want to allow you to see your progress. Movewell workouts are 30 or so minutes. Broken into chunks. Screen shows the segments as well as % of workout done. It goes so fast even when I’m struggling. Well worth the investment. Try it!! I knew I needed to be lifting weights but had no clue where to begin nor the energy / time to plan a workout on my own. I love this app and Coach Nicole!.Version: 2.2.10
I’m OBSESSED!I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon Ladder 5 weeks ago! I’ve struggled in the past with different apps and programs because with Hashimoto’s, I often felt either exhausted after the short workouts, or completely overwhelmed with all the video options. Plus some exercises felt inaccessible to me just starting out. But Ladder handles all the guess work for you and makes it easy to jump in and get my workout done with planned weekly programs. They make it fun to earn badges for accomplishments, easy to stay on track with hydration and nutrition, plus, with the AMAZING coaching by Coach Jennifer in Team Endure, I’m left feeling sweaty, but energized and strong. There are even movement swaps if I need them. I actually feel excited to do my workout and even do more workouts than I thought I could. It’s so much fun and there are also chats to stay connected with others on similar journeys. We can cheer each other on, ask questions (which our coach also answers with AMAs), and celebrate our accomplishments. I’m only just starting week 5, but my clothes are already fitting more loosely, I’m feeling stronger and less winded, and my energy is through the roof. Now I don’t know what I’d do without this app or Team Endure! 100% worth the subscription..Version: 4.8.0
Changed my life!I cannot even tell you how wonderful this app is. Where do I begin? From the community to the trainers, to the efficacy of the app.. flawless. I’ve been an avid gym goer for over two years. And I have seen more progress in the last month than I have since the beginning of my journey. Not only can you modify the workouts, but they really give you a chance to go at your own pace if you need to with so much support and options/substitutions that work for you. The app is user friendly and presents your stats and progress in a way that’s easy to understand, and you can cheer on your fellow ladder users which is a super awesome touch. I chose team evolve because I really wanted to start building some serious muscle, and Samantha has been my biggest cheerleader and such an absolute delight to work with. Her cues are spot on. I am probably biased as the trainers are all amazing, but Samantha truly is the GOAT. You can ask questions and you will always have them answered. She will correct your form if need be and you will see results if you just take the time for yourself. Downloading this app was the best decision of 2025 for me and I cannot wait to stick with Ladder here on out. If you were on the fence, here’s your green light! Do it!!.Version: 3.2.2
Ladder is THE Fitness App: You’re search is over. Welcome to the TeamI’ve tried so many fitness apps trying to find the ONE and Ladder is it. Hands down. This app has a fitness program for everyone and each program has its own dedicated coach who’s with you through every work out sharing knowledge and encouragement. Ladder has also figured out how to seamlessly integrate a social and community vibe in the app. I truly didn’t expect to use it much but it’s a game changer. Seeing such a diverse group of people share their victories, knowledge, questions, and encouragement has been down right fun to be a part of. It’s kept me accountable and helped sustain my motivation and intensity on the days I don’t feel like working out. The development team is top notch as well. The app is crisp, easy to use, and just flows well. You’ll notice instantly that they’ve put a lot of thought and work into the app. They listen to their users and are always making improvements and keeping the users updated on what’s new and what’s coming up. There’s a lot more I could go on about but the bottom line is if your even remotely interested in getting healthier, feeling good, and looking good then your search is over the Ladder App is it..Version: 2.5.0
Just do itI have always enjoyed working out, I am a US Army veteran so I’m used to endurance exercises but the military never taught me to lift weights, or how to truly build muscle. I tried looking up random exercises on Instagram, Facebook and even Pinterest but I would never actually go back to those to see what I should do or how I should be doing it. I saved them and forgot about them. With Ladder though, I no longer even need to do that. The workouts are already set up with step by step walk through instructions for each part, there are timers for the exercises and timers for the breaks in between. Sometimes I find myself needing to pause it if I need to, which is another great component of the app. And coach Kelly is amazballs. I feel and look stronger already. I have over 1000 minutes in so far, I don’t workout every day like I should but even with working out three days a week I still see results. And I can pick which days workout (Mon, Tues, Wed, etc..) I want to do at any time. I can knock out more than one in one day if I really wanted to so, it gives me flexibility which is much needed as a mother and a nurse. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking this app out if you haven’t already. You will not regret it!!.Version: 4.6.2
Best of both worlds to meI’ve been strength training for 30 years so I’m quite familiar with the subject. I’ve had in person coaching at times but I prefer to follow and do things on my own. In more recent years, I’ve used several apps which have suggested plans and routines which I believe are driven by AI. I have often found the generated programs to be less than desirable with the composition of the workouts suggested. Not so with Ladder. This app is different from anything else I’ve tried. It’s a combination of having a personal coach but in a virtual way. Therefore, you have a structured plan developed by professional but you have control over when, where, how long you rest, and even if you want to substitute or skip certain parts of the workouts. It neatly allows you to integrate and stream music of your choice and logs your performance. Another unique aspect is that it has a sense of community since you can send encouragements to other members working out and you can choose to participate or just read message boards. To me, this app is worth it and the people behind it seem to have dedicated themselves to not only offering a great product now but are looking to continue future enhancements.Version: 3.0.10
I’m finally consistently working out!Ladder has been a HUGE help in motivating me to consistently work out. I have a great functional trainer in my garage, but after lifting weights semi-consistently for many years, I haven’t really seen any improvements in my overall fitness/strength level. But now, even at 62, I’m getting stronger and feel much better with my overall fitness level (I’ve done 51 workouts so far). I really like how a weekly plan is created with 5-6 workouts, so all I do is pick the workouts I want to focus on. And now, I’m consistently working out at least 3 times a week with high-quality workouts. I’ve been using the same coach since day one and have been really happy how well he explains the intricacies of various weight moves to ensure we get maximum results. He also motivates us to work hard without being overly intense - and I like his fun facts and sense of humor! And the App is fantastic! You can easily preview each workout, document how much you’re lifting, pause any time, save your workouts, hook it up to your music App, send cheers to other members of your team, shows your milestones, etc. And they’re always improving the App with great updates to make it even better..Version: 2.1.2
The fix to my rando ADHD workoutsI’ll start this by saying I have experience in the weight room but not much machine experience. I stopped exercising a couple years ago after my husband passed , and this app has had a big role in helping me back into a place where my body and my brain feel healthy. I’ve always tended to do random things that I liked and could remember at the gym. Brain fog and planning is hard for me—I swear perimenopause, grief and ADHD has sucked every last drop of brain power! Even if I prepped a list of things to do, I would forget it or get bored with it. Using Ladder has given me the consistent routine that I need—with a dopamine hit of variety that I want. Coach Sam, and all the other coaches., offer a great tips on form and safety in the program as you do the exercises. I love the flexibility. I’ve been able to swap out exercises in a workout if needed— coach Sam in her chat has given so much information and resource resources I’m now more comfortable with machines! If it’s a busy day at the gym or if I’m not “feeling it” I can easily swap for another recommended exercise. The app itself is easy to use for workouts, tracking nutrition goals and feeling part of a community. Worth the $!.Version: 4.3.0
Genuinely life-changing.This app is REVOLUTIONARY. From a UX standpoint, it’s completely original. You can tell in every click and workout that the creators designed this to be the first app to exist that TRULY feels like you have an ACTUAL personal trainer in a digital format. The business itself is super impressive. I love that I can listen to my music while also being coached, and I don’t have to leave the app to change songs. From a personal standpoint, If you are someone who is either a completely out of shape beginner, or just super far removed from having a regular fitness routine - PLEASE download this app and invest in yourself. The marketing campaign really says it all: you don’t need more equipment, supplements, motivation, stuff, etc. you just need a PLAN and this app does all that mental work for you, so all you have to do is get dressed and get to work on loving yourself. I have ADHD and oftentimes the mental task of planning out a workout is the biggest hurdle towards getting fit. I’ve been more consistent with exercise in the last two weeks than I have been in years. Coach Kelly is MOTHER ❤️ and this app has made a hugely positive impact on my fitness, mental and physical health, and my self care practices..Version: 2.1.13
Best Fitness App I’ve EVER UsedI love Ladder. Period. This has been the best fitness app I’ve ever used. I had been following my current Ladder coach on Instagram for a while and have always been inspired by her. When she became a Ladder coach, I wasn’t in a place to start my fitness journey and quickly forgot about working out. I would do home workouts here and there but wasn’t prioritizing my routine and didn’t have a set goal. I began going to the gym in late spring 2025 and began figuring out what exactly on my body I wanted to see progress on. My Ladder coach popped back up with a free trial to the app, so decided I’d try it. And upon first workout, I was sold. You have a trainer in your ear the entire workout, before and after. Correcting your form, prioritizing your goals, and giving their real life experience and expertise for you for an incredibly reasonable yearly price. This feels like you’re getting trained by a certified pro without them screaming in your ear. At first, these workouts were HARD but there’s a feature where people can cheer you on - and not just Ladder coaches across the platform but also real people like you. I was tearing up during my really hard points of my workouts because those little cheers mean the world! I also love cheering people on during their workouts because you feel seen and heard. The chat room is great for progress celebrations, asking for advice, or just connecting with people on your same journey. I don’t ever want to stop using Ladder. It’s the best fitness app I’ve ever used! Insanely customizable, you can do these workouts from anywhere (as the exercises are swappable), and you just feel Iike your journey matters and makes a difference. I’m actually excited to workout now. It’s a game changer! Highly recommend!.Version: 4.1.2
Worth the money and fun!It didn’t take me long at all to see the value behind this app. I love that I got to try it out for a week before committing, but knew I was going to sign up after my first full workout. The design is fantastic and I love that you can choose a coach depending on your goals. I also love the instructional guidance throughout the workout and it’s not overdone. I’m super excited to commit to my coach’s programs and see what success comes from it. This app and the coaching definitely makes my workout a lot of fun. A couple of suggestions: i’m not sure if there is a plate calculator anywhere in the app, but that would be nice. Also, I’ve noticed that the coach struggles to answer all questions and keep up with the community chat. It may be helpful if there was a team that helped manage basic questions. Last thing, I would love to see the AI suggest which weight to do depending on what you did previously. I switched from Alpha Progression and that feature was really nice. In the Ladder app, you have to go into your history to see what you did and manually adjust. I hope they’ll continue to make tweaks but even as is, this is a fantastic app!.Version: 3.5.2
Liked it more than I thought I wouldI consider myself to be a seasoned gym-goer. I’ve been working out with my family since I was 10 years old and it’s always been a part of my life. As I got older, I felt pretty confident coming up with my own workouts and splits, and it was effective! I lost over 30 pounds just by doing my own thing, but then medical school started and the workload simply did not allow for me to have the time, or energy, to work out. Long, 15 hour study days would leave me with no energy at all, and the guilt of not studying simply did not allow me to enjoy an hour and a half workout at the gym. That’s where ladder came along. Truly one of the best things I’ve ever purchased. Every week includes new, updated workouts with life coaching and a wonderful community to work with. My workouts are efficient and effective, and I don’t have to do any of the thinking or planning. I’m usually in and out of the gym within an hour. I cannot recommend this app enough for someone who needs an efficient, effective, and supportive resource to help incorporate movement back into their lives. I will definitely be a lifelong user of this app..Version: 3.5.0
My new workout appI’ve tried several workout apps in the past. I gave this one a try for a week since I didn’t have to add any CC info and then cancel later if I wasn’t liking it. I just finished my first 6 weeks using this app and I’ve been enjoying it. Easy to you and the workouts have been great. A couple extra I think set it apart. The group chat and high fives you can send to others currently working out. It’s always fun to see a few high fives while you are working out. There is a streak counter. Workout 3 or more times in a week and earn credit for that week. The week-counter is tagged to your profile picture. It helps motivate me to make sure I get that 3rd workout in. Also, a subtle thing I like, which may be unique to the coach I follow, but it’s his guided breath work at the end of every workout. It’s always positive and helps me set good intentions for the day. I wouldn’t say it’s something I was looking for, but it is something, after having used it, that I really appreciate and will always make time for at the end of my workouts. I think it’s worth a shot if you are considering. It’s got me back into my workout routine. Go for it!.Version: 3.2.2
This is it.I have a competitive background in both CF and Olympic Weightlifting. While I have been wanting an interesting, varied, and effective program, exercising several hours a day or doing metcons just isn’t my thing anymore. I’ve surfed no less than 5 other programming apps and have felt discouraged with movements being too simple (boring), low focus on performance, etc. Ladder offers several different programming pathways and I found the one I have the motivation to stick with consistently. The perfect volume, duration, and varied focus on different performance measures. I love the team chat, and find it much more engaging than other platforms. The “whiteboard” instruction from Coach Kelly for each workout provides just enough guidance (and does so in an authentic way- no fake hype), and my little ADHD brain feels so satisfied when I get to check the box that I’ve finished the workout. There are so many cognitive and neurobiological reinforcers. I’ve never had an app the guides you through your workout, timing your rests, etc. Oh, most importantly, I’m in my 4th week and already seeing evidence of muscle growth and strength. Unbelievable..Version: 2.1.8
Best Workout App with ResultsI was blessed to cross paths with a former Peloton Coach Jennifer Jacobs. I was hooked from the beginning - from her love of 80’s music to making you feel like she was riding right by your side - always pushing you. It was only fitting that I follow her on her new journey with Ladder Teams to deliver her detailed training with her JMethod program. I’m training more on a consistent level than ever before and I’m feeling so much stronger. Her workouts include a variety of combinations such as strength, mobility, core, cardio and resistance. The training is different every week, however the JMethod gives you the tools to be prepared and stronger for the weeks ahead. The videos of each workout gives you personal instruction, Jennifer Jacobs is there to give you the proper instruction on how to perform each move properly so that you can see results. Most of the workouts are 30-40 minutes and will leave you feeling inspired for more. The whole experience is very personalized. The price is worth getting to train one on one with one of the best coaches in the world - and results are guaranteed. You must join this amazing team and let Jennifer Jacobs show you her amazing JMethod program..Version: 1.7.0
If you’re looking for a sign, THIS IS IT!I’ll start off by saying I’ve never been much a program workout person. I would go to the gym, lift some weights, do some stuff I’d seen on Instagram, and call it a day. Never did the split workout (push, pull, legs) routine, I always just went with whatever seemed “appropriate”. I was told about this app by my girlfriend but didn’t care to try it because I was stubborn and just wanted to work out by lifting weights thinking I knew it all. Finally, then decided to give the app a try. I HAVE NOT LOOKED BACK SINCE! The app gives you the tools and the layout on how to get in shape. It’s really about trusting the process. I thought I was in shape but this app genuinely challenges you to go the extra distance. If you’re true to yourself and trust the process, this app will transform the way you view working out and being fit. It’s fun, engaging and a great way to have a support system with the coaches and the team of members who are working out alongside you cheering you on and giving you tips along the way. If you’re looking for a sign to change up your routine and make a difference, try ladder.Version: 3.0.10
If you are looking for a strength training app, you found it!My friend recommended I try ladder, and I am SO glad that she did. The programming is amazing, the coaches are so supportive, and the app interface really takes all the phenomenal coaching to the next level. I feel so supported through the community and chat component as well as through the in-ear commentary I receive from my coach as I workout. Ladder makes it SO easy to stay accountable. I love the integration and tracking with Apple Watch, the weekly streaks, and the updated journal that makes tracking PRs and weight progress so much easier. You can tell that they are working to make Ladder better and better with every update and release (and it’s already incredible to begin with) I’ve really noticed a difference in my energy, motivation, and overall strength since I’ve started training with Kelly Matthews on Ladder and am so excited to see the gains that are to come with her Limitless team. Her coaching style and programming is what I’ve been looking for for YEARS. So grateful that I found something that makes me feel confident inside and outside of the gym..Version: 2.1.5
Best Combination of Programing and CommunityI stumbled upon ladder after following Bobby Maximus and using some of his previous free workout programs. I was searching for an app that had built in programs that I could follow and utilize in my home gym. Did a free 7 day trial of ladder and never looked back. The best part of ladder is that there is variety in the coaches and programing you can select from. Individuals in all athletic endeavors or new to exercise can find the appropriate coach. I have selected Treigning Day and loved the programming. A great combination of CrossFit style workouts with focus on building functional strength through controlled speed and lower movements. The best part is the sense of accountability and community that has come across. I workout alone in my basement gym most days before work and in the moments that I may want to scale back or take my foot off the pedal a random cheer from another member will come through to remind you to keep grinding. The app is so easy to use and the timer and coaching cues makes it easy to achieve the workouts. I have always enjoyed working out but this has taken it to another level. Highly recommend..Version: 1.15.10
Treigning DayI’ve been programming my own workouts for the past 12+ years after working with some of the top trainers in the country for about 5 years. I tried this app 3 months ago after following Reign and Neen on social media for some years and seeing it pop up on their feeds. Their training style is very similar to the way my trainers and I program my own stuff so I thought I’d try it out. I’ll just say flat out that it’s a fantastic app. You have the choice of several coaches with different approaches, and vocal coaching cues throughout your workout so you just put your headphones in, press play, and still have that feeling of a you vs. yourself mentality while knowing the rest of the ladder community is going through the same mental and physical gymnastics that you are to get the work done, and none of the workouts are over an hour long. It’s the only app I know of with programming, along with and an “in your ear” coaching experience, updated every week. They’re all clearly putting in a tremendous amount of work and a continuous attention to detail, and it makes for a great workout app for gym-goers of every level..Version: 1.14.0
Exceeding ALL my expectations and then some.48 yr old female here who is active but never did any real weight training in the past. I was looking for a program that would take the guesswork out of my life and taught me the basics about building a routine and helped me build strength and swap fat for muscle. Workouts are challenging and very well structured, the coaching with voice over is absolutely amazing and every other feature well worth it, from tracking weights progressive overload in the journal to being able to play your own music, to the meal tracking, not to mention that I chose a team, Team Maximus, that fits my mindset and preferred lifestyle coaching perfectly. I’m 6 weeks into it now, haven’t skipped a day and can already see more muscle definition and feel stronger, I know it sounds cliche but the annual fee I paid after my 5 day free trial will be by far the best investment in myself I have done in a long time, …be ready to put in the work and give it a try, last thing… I never write reviews anywhere but ladder has already changed my life and I’d love to see other people benefit too. Let’s go!! 💪🔥♥️.Version: 4.7.1
A Perfect FitI run competitively and bike, both indoors and on the road, for improved fitness. Like many others, I have been searching for a program that would compliment these activities and improve my performance. I am fortunate to have found the perfect fit... the J Method ladder team coached by Jennifer Jacobs. This program has improved my flexibility, mobility and strength. These are extremely important to me as I am an older athlete looking to improve my results and avoid injury. The program is well organized and the exercises are all professionally demonstrated to show both the proper technique and the benefits. In addition, the chat feature allows me to ask Coach Jennifer specific questions about my training program. Real World Results... This past weekend, I was able to run my first “ live” race( half-marathon)since the pandemic started. My improved flexibility and mobility, courtesy of J Method ladder team program, were key to achieving my goal time... injury free. Don’t just read about this program or take my word for it.. Do it! Ladder team provide a free one week trial to see the excellence of this program for yourself..Version: 1.2.0
Strength trainingI love this fitness app after my bodybuilding competition in 2023. I was just kinda in limbo. I needed something to kind of keep my body moving in strength training. Whats really great about this app. There’s several coaches on the specific fitness goals you’re looking for and with all of our adult lives. We are very busy and given an hour day with this app an several coaches programs, it’s definitely manageable. I’ll have to say it’s less stress. I do say that you should meet the top three priority workouts. combining this with a proper nutrition you’re able to beat your fitness goals. I’ve been with this application since December 2025. Although I’ve not been able to meet all the workouts, I’ve been able to meet majority and not feel stressed or overwhelmed. Take that time to give yourself an hour a day it’s just an hour.. towards your fitness goals. Highly suggest it. Invest in yourself. I’m with Kelly Matthews. Because I’m looking for her a little bit of mix of strength, training and mobility and athletic. My goal is to lift heavyIsh be able to move my body in a performance level..Version: 4.8.0
The only thing that got me to start working out againThis isn’t just an app, it’s a team of highly skilled, passionate trainers who are creating a fitness experience that makes real human SENSE in an app format. I never thought that I would love an app so much. That’s because it doesn’t feel like an app — it’s a trainer of your choosing in your ear, coaching you along with 6 completely fresh workouts a week (which all build on each other in 6-week programs), a community of people working out with you, and a seamless app experience that is always being improved. You can tell how much the creators care about the quality of this experience. There are different teams to choose from, each with a different style, approach and vibe. It might be tough to start as a complete beginner, but if you’re like me and have a fitness background and have felt like you completely got off the bandwagon for years, this is going to be perfect for you and get you back on track. Just don’t do what I did and go too hard too fast. Start slow, focus on form, and trust the process. Worth EVERY PENNY..Version: 2.1.14
No fitness level expectationsI am so glad I found ladder through Instagram this year! I have been using that other company that starts with a “B” for years, and as a woman just having entered my 50s, I knew I needed low-impact with weights and lots of stretching, which no other program I know provides, and believe me, I have spent the years buying a ton of DVDs. Ladder let me try a week for free and I was hooked! I prefer the Pilates and strength and Yoga and strength programs, but there are times during the year when Ladder lets one switch “teams” and try the other programs. The thing I liked best, as you saw in my title, is one doesn’t have to come into these programs already being fit. With the “B” program, even despite always having to modify, I still was constantly sore and had to take breaks to let my muscles rest. I am an active Grammy and have found I can keep plugging away each day with Ladder with success. It took me six weeks in to start seeing results, and I moved from 8lb weights to using 15 lbs for some exercises and people have commented I look more toned already. Give Ladder a try!.Version: 2.1.13
Love this fitness app!!!I have been with team EMPWR for about a month and a half and I see results! As woman I struggled with feeling comfortable at a gym using weights, benches or just taking up too much space… With this app and specifically my coach on team EMPWR I no longer have those feelings. I just put my headphones in and my confidence is through the roof. I know I am going to get a great work out in and I don’t second guess what workout I am doing. There is no walking aimlessly around a gym thinking did I do enough today? Did I work on the right muscles today or did I work too many muscle groups today? This really helps the over thinker (such as myself) that the workout I am doing is exactly what I should be doing at this time. Also let’s not forget music! this app lets you play your music in the background and turns it a bit lower when the coach speaks and then goes louder after so you can pump/jam during the workout :) Anyway as you can tell this workout app and my team EMPWR works for me. I hope more ladies use this app to become more confident to take up space at the gym!.Version: 1.17.4
Trained & TrackedMy workout life consisted of serving in the Army (working out in ways you don’t want to) to choosing to pursue my health and fitness after the Army (around 2009). I’ve been lifting and tracking my fitness since then. I’ve used a few different apps in my experience and the only two I’ve liked were BodySpace, which is no longer supported, and Ladder. The workouts are catered to your goals. If you want to body build, theres a trainer and personalized program for that. If you like high intensity, there’s a trainer and program for that. If you like cardio, there’s a program for that. On top of that, it tacks your max weight and reps and projects where you can increase at. There’s also the involvement of a community style group of people who are in your same training program that you can look for guidance or to relate with others who may be struggling through the same issues you’re having or have overcome and can provide some info in how to overcome it yourself. This app is honestly a really good app and something I see myself sticking with for a long time..Version: 3.0.13
Best Workout AppI’ve done yoga for years but was really looking to tone and lose fat. Other than yoga, I’ve never done any kind of workout program so I had no idea how/where to start. I was following a trainer on TikTok and I noticed that she had a program on this app so I thought I would try it. Let me just say, it has been a game changer for me. Each week is a brand new workout so, it’s always changing up. I can link the workout with my Apple Watch so it lets me know how much longer I have in sets, tracks calories burned, etc. I LOVE that it’s not a full blown “workout video” as well, just a video of the trainer showing you the move. You can have your music playing while you workout and it will play in the background while the trainer is speaking as well. It’s amazing. Try the 7 day free trial and if you enjoy it, do the yearly membership because it’s so worth it. You can change teams as much as you want if you want to mix your routine up. I NEVER thought I would enjoy working out as much as I do now and this app is definitely the reason why. Try it, you won’t regret it!.Version: 2.1.14
Overall absolutely wonderful!I absolutely love this app. The monthly membership price may look intimidating to some, but if you think about comparing it to the price of an actual in person, personal trainer, this is way less expensive. I am someone who enjoys working out, but once they get in the gym, I have absolutely no idea what to do. I will happily do what I’m told, but I need someone to give me a work out to do. This app has several different teams with different styles of workouts and different goals for you to choose from, but no matter what team you get seven workouts a week with coach videos of how to do the movements Reminders in your ear to breathe, form suggestions, weight suggestions, etc. I have tried several workout apps in the past, and this is honestly the absolute best one on the market. my only wish is this: they do let you favorite work outs and save them forever as long as you are a member, BUT there’s no way to organize your saved workouts. I wish I could put them into folders based on the type of workout they are so that when I’m looking for something specific, I can more easily find it..Version: 2.2.4
Best workout app yetI’ve tried quite a few different workout plans over the years especially after I had both my kids. I’ve done trials, free apps, cheap apps, expensive apps, you name it. Ladder has been the ONLY workout app that I’ve been able to stick with long term. You never do the same exercises day to day or even week to week. The coaches switch things up and you get to pick your coach based on what type of workout style you’re looking for. You receive badges for your accomplishments, you get to cheer on others during their workouts, there are chat rooms where you can communicate with others about healthy eating, parenting, exercise equipment, etc. I can’t say enough good things about this app. The only thing I’d change is that I would add a section for tracking your nutrition so I don’t have to use a separate app. Ladder will sync with your Apple Watch, too, so it transfers all your workout info into the fitness app on your iPhone. It truly is an excellent app and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to change their lifestyle for the better..Version: 3.7.3
CrossFitter turned ladder fanaticAs a dedicated CrossFitter, I was left unmotivated after my new work schedule prohibited me from attending regular classes at my local box. We built a full garage gym when things were shut down but my home workouts were getting boring and i missed that community and group for accountability. I’ve used other free apps and even had access to my gyms programming, but I wasn’t finding the discipline i needed. Further, i had very limited time with my 12 hr work days, so I needed something less than an hour. The step by step coaching that ladder provides keeps me on track. I set a fake class time and I show up, hit play, and work my tail off with my coach on my screen. I love the community chat and sharing videos for tips. My oly lifts feel stronger and my gymnastics skills are improving. I still get to play around with my barbell on team crews control and coach Andre is super motivating every day. He does check ins 2-5 times a day and offers feedback on lifting techniques etc. this program is flexible and really works. Super happy customer here! Get after it!.Version: 1.14.7
Fantastic workout appThe ladder app is very easy to use and very simple. The messaging feature is a very nice touch which brings a personable approach similar to a regular training program in a gym. Days of gym memberships are fading away. I highly recommend this app if you are thinking of training at home or even in the gym but are in a dead end workout routine. Team Boundless has such a good variety of exercises and makes fitting exercising into a busy schedule much easier. 10/10!!.Version: 1.13.5
Best training BUT…Very easy to use and the fluidity of the experience is very good. If you find your group and connect with the coach, it’s amazing and you will become addicted. However, choose the monthly billing option, avoid the yearly. I renewed for a full year, and then a month later, the entire group I was following got pulled from the platform within 72 hours with no explanation. I couldn’t find another group that fits my expectations, and my requests for partial refund were simply ignored. Lost over $300. Great app, pay monthly and don’t get attached too quickly. They pull the plug without warning!.Version: 2.6.4
Shelby’s Program is Life Changing!!Best program and app I’ve ever used!! I’ve been with Shelby’s program for over a year and I have never seen so much progress in my 10+ years of working out! Her coaching style is the perfect balance of supportive/fun, and challenging! The app is also super easy to use and the voice over features and new weekly workout drops keep me motivated to show up everyday! Would highly recommend this app to anyone!!.Version: 4.6.1
Money grabbing rubbed me the wrong wayJust bought the year membership, despite not fully understanding all the ways to use this app. After a week trial I appreciated the tailored workout videos and listening to my own music. The same day that I dropped 200$ I got a welcome message from my “coach” and it only costs another 500$!?!? To respond. WOW, is that all. :(.Version: 4.7.1
So Many Variations and Styles!I did free you tube workouts for years and then I wanted more structure and a set plan and something about this really clicked. I like trying out different plans, I like how you can swap exercises out to fit your home equipment better and I like that I find the workouts challenging but manageable. I'm not bored and it's been a few months now. It might not be free but I think it's mega affordable, cheaper than most plans out there..Version: 3.7.0
Fix watch connection issuesLove this app and have been using it for over a year! Over time the connection issues connecting app to watch has gotten worse. It never pairs first try. Sometimes 4th retry it works. Today I can not get it to pair which is hugely affecting my workout and my time span I have to workout. I’ve tried disconnecting from the internet and using my phone data. Exiting in and out of the app on my phone and on the watch. Please fix!!!!.Version: 4.8.0
Incredible UXI never take the time to write app reviews but this app is so easy to use and intuitive. I’ve never seen anything like it. Thank you so much!.Version: 4.8.0
Great!Great program, fantastic coaching! Coach Brian is such a beauty, knowledgeable, friendly and the dad jokes are on point!.Version: 4.8.0
Best fitness appI’ve been using the app for 6 months and I absolutely love it. Easy to use and follow. I especially love that I can play my own music in the background. I’ve seen results and I don’t work out every day!.Version: 4.8.0
Courtney is the best trainerLove these workouts!!.Version: 4.8.0
Fantastic prenatal program!!I have been using the ladder app (specifically the prenatal program) throughout my whole pregnancy and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I have peace of mind that the workouts are designed for pregnancy. It’s kept me strong and mobile. There’s a great mix of resistance training and mobility work. Love love love!!!.Version: 4.8.0
Love.I’ve been with ladder for 5 weeks now on team Movewell, for years I struggled with consistency and finding random workout videos online that I could never complete. Until I joined ladder, the fresh daily/weekly workout routines keep me from straying and falling off the wagon. I’ve felt so much more energetic and stronger, my moods have improved, and I’ve learned how to eat properly with the nutrition feature. And the team/community you build there is such a fun and upbeat bonus! In Canada the price for the year worked out to be about $17 which is much more affordable than a gym membership..Version: 4.8.0
Team AscendCoach Aria’s programming is unmatched! And her presence in the team group chat is incredible — she’s answering questions, providing form checks, and cheering all of us on. We love you coach Aria!.Version: 4.8.0
The Best Workout App EverIt changed my life..Version: 4.8.0
Best app yetI have tried several different apps this one by far is the best. Lots of variety of coaches and flex exercises to choice frim.Version: 4.8.0
Worth every workoutI’ve been using Ladder since January, and honestly, I don’t know what I would do without it. What started as a commitment to just 30 minutes a day has become a lifestyle. The workouts are challenging yet manageable, and the coaches are incredibly motivating, supportive, and knowledgeable. I’ve noticed a significant difference in my strength, energy, and confidence. Every day I feel a little stronger, both physically and mentally. Ladder has helped me build consistency in a way that no other fitness program has. If you’re looking for a workout app that keeps you accountable, inspired, and progressing, I highly recommend it..Version: 4.8.0
Let’s go team elevate!Obsessed with this app - been on for 5 weeks now and I’ve found my motivation again. Team elevate and coach Elise are to thank + the folks at ladder who brought it all together. Thank youuuu.Version: 4.8.0
Absolutely Amazing!!As a person who used to train years ago for competitions - and paid a lot of money to coaches for workout and meal plans - this App is absolutely worth every penny. Workouts are on par with what I used to do, and I don’t have to think about anything - just get the workout done. Overall, super happy with the interface and ease of use. Love this app!!! I had never heard of it until my alogrithm started showing me Hilary Duff ads (clearly, I was flagged for the demographic…). I’ve been working out using Team Limitless and have seen massive strength improvements in my first 6 weeks. Just get the app already..Version: 4.8.0
Great appLove ladder app, I have been using it for almost two years and it’s great. The variety of workout among the coaches is great..Version: 4.8.0
Good but priceyI’ve been liking the workouts on this app I wish it wasn’t so expensive..Version: 4.8.0
Love itI love it. I get distracted easily and this keeps me on task and focused… it’s also like having a personal trainer with you all the time… I’m a fan.Version: 4.8.0
The perfect all-in-one exercise appWhat I love about this app: - great selection of courses and teachers - I’m on team Endure and I find Jennifer’s style a perfect fit with easy to follow coaching during the workouts and inspiring videos and tips on the team chat - being able to swap exercises to fit injuries or mobility issues (you can swap it all before even beginning the workout) - the integration with Spotify or other music player. Seamlessly lowers and raises volume behind the coaching - nutrition ! So easy to track what you eat, text, voice, photo, recipe … any way that works for you to record your meal - community ! Great chats and cheers from fellow members. It’s a very supportive group. I often have decision fatigue and this makes working out so easy. Jenn just tells me what’s on the menu for the week and I do it. And it ensures a full body workout.Version: 4.8.0
Great for workout for nutrition is a failI’ve been using the Ladder app for more than a year for fitness. I love the fitness part of the app, though I dislike how the app automatically launches a workout when you open it. I like how the app syncs up with my Apple Watch. I have been using the nutrition part of the app for the last few weeks and it’s really falling short. I’ve contacted for support twice, and they seem not only unwilling to help but unwilling to fix errors with that part of the app. Very disappointed with the customer service..Version: 4.8.0
One of the best appsIt’s one of the best apps for fitness and workouts. It has for everyone something. You can challenge yourself, coaches are great and the results are great.Version: 4.8.0
AmazingThis app is everything I was looking for. Listening to my own music but still getting coaching cues and a timer all in one! I used to have to do all 3 seperately. I love that it syncs to my watch and has food tracking too. I can’t even imagine the cost to make this app. Thanks to the Ladder team!.Version: 4.8.0
I actually like it a lotI have tried many apps throughout my life. While the price for me in Canada is 30$ a month—which is not cheap in this economy—I find myself loving it. A fitness app +calorie counter and it’s also fun to chat with other users and see their stories in real time. Ladder really hit the nail on the head in regard to fitness apps. Just think of it as a short term investment 😉.Version: 4.8.0
Love Ladder & Team Endure! This app is changing my workouts and life for the better! I don’t have to plan anything, just show up. Grateful for Team Endure and Coach Jennifer’s excellent progressive load and cueing. I am working on form and building strength. Just earned my badge for the Shred series and can’t wait for the next one. The value of this app and subscription is worth it!!! If you are wondering if you should lock in after the free trial, go for it! It’s amazing!.Version: 4.7.1
Love it love itThis app gives you full experience. I would recommend everyone to elevate their fitness routine.Version: 4.8.0

FitnessBest workout ever.Version: 4.7.1
GreatAmazing app for someone like me who has been working out for 2 years but needed more structure and good leadership.Version: 4.7.1
RatingIt’s a little different than I thought it would be but it does a good job to breakdown and give you pieces of the workout in a simpler to the point if you know what your doing..Version: 4.7.1
LOVE ITFirst workout program that I actually want to be consistent! Thank you ladder 🥹.Version: 4.7.1
Really good!I’m going into my 5th week using the app and it’s very good! Super easy to navigate. I think the monthly payment is worth it.Version: 4.7.1
Got me in shape!I’ve been using the ladder app for just over a year. Easy to use the app, new workouts everyday, growing my streak (doing 3 or more workouts a week) has been super motivating. My body is getting noticeably toned. Highly recommend Ladder..Version: 4.7.1
Personal trainer in your ear!I’ve tried tons of workout apps but have stuck with ladder because of the results it has given me, motivation, results and feeling part of a team. Nothing compares! Highly recommend.Version: 4.7.1
LoveLove LADDER. I recommend to all my friends.Version: 4.7.1
Only improvement I’d recommendLove this app and it has been super helpful in taking the thought out of what my workout should look like. Only adjustment, it may be something that is offered and I’m not aware of the function, would be cool while you are working out with a coach - if you are working out on the rest day, the ability to build out your own workout and still log it. Please let me know if this is already available, thanks!.Version: 4.7.1
Love the app butLove this app. They have done a great job making it easy to use. I do wish there was a program that had full body training four times a week..Version: 4.7.1
ConsistentOnly exercise program that I’ve followed consistently. I recommend it to everyone..Version: 4.7.1
By far the best fitness app I've everBest fitness app I’ve ever used, great coaches, easy to use app and so much information. Great community too!.Version: 4.7.1
The best fitness app!I’ve tried a dozen different fitness apps and this is by far the best one. I like the structure of the program vs choosing random workouts each time. It removes decision fatigue at the gym so I just go in and do the workout. The streaks and badges aren’t super important to me, but it’s nice to see if I get a streak going. The most important part is the workouts are amazing and it’s a program not random!.Version: 4.7.1
Current obsessionI’ve been a member for almost 2 years. I love the versatility of the trainer options. I’m a busy mom with two little children so I love being able to do workouts at home but also escape to the gym and lift heavy. I’ve never been this consistent with any workout, and I am obsessed with the results..Version: 4.7.1
Great app!Enjoying this app. Training is fun again. Love that I don’t have to think about my trainings and just do..Version: 4.7.1
Love itSo many great coaches to choose from. I’m on Team Ascend with Coach Aria and I’m loving it. Her cues are perfect and the workouts are challenging. I’ve noticed a huge difference in strength and aesthetic and I’ve been using the app for 7 months. There’s a 7 day trial, sometimes a 30 day trial is offered as well. Definitely worth a try..Version: 4.7.1
Didn’t know I needed this appI have trained for a long time and didn’t realize I was leaving gains on the table. Ladder is really worth getting..Version: 4.7.1
