This app is a thing of beauty.I’ve literally never written a review. Of anything. not once in my life. I’m not passionate about apps, I just use this so my wife can’t hear me typing and clicking in bed at night. That said…it’s so clear that someone spent an enormous amount of time making this perfect. Every single button is exactly where you want it to be. The mouse input acceleration and scale make it feel almost identical to the Mac trackpad. There is zero learning curve. It’s honestly the only time I’ve ever felt like someone actually cared about one of these apps enough to take the time to think about all of the little details that make something great. No silly design quirks to make it stand out, no loud colors or branding or adds. Just a perfect little app that does everything it says it will exactly how you want it to. Fantastic app so farI’ve only just got this application up and running on my devices but everything is working pristinely so far. I am considering switching over to the Remote+ app from the same developer as there are a few more features in that one such as the ability to remotely control volume, which this app does not possess. Workflow EssentialI take notes on my iPad while watching lectures and videos on my pc. This app allows me to pause the lecture and take the note immediately. Before I took the note as the lecture was still playing. Since it’s medically impossible for humans to multitask (this is a substantiated fact google “gorillas in our midst” landmark psychological study regarding multitasking) I must regress in the video to find the time where I began taking the note, this destroyed my workflow, and resulted in a video 50 min in length taking about 2 hours to watch and take notes. Use of this app reduced that length to about 80 min. This App saved me 40 minutes. Mouse*keyboard AmazingBest App and it’s free. Broke my ergonomic wireless mouse while trying to watch a movie on my desktop, and this was one of 3 apps that I downloaded, and this app by far was the best app as a mouse replacement. The installation was straight forward, and as long as your computer is on the same WiFi connection and you download the windows app(which is what I am using, but there is a Mac option as well), everything runs smoothly. The keyboard option is also a great feature. Sometimes I don’t feel like getting up to type, and with this app, I have the option of typing directly from my phone. Great appI downloaded the mobile app and connected it to my windows pc easily. Set up was simple. For all around mouse snd keyboard use on a phone with a small screen may not be efficient however with a tablet or larger screen you will get more benefit. I use the app as a comparison to a remote because or tv doesn’t have the spectrum app. Now i can steam spectrum online and scroll the channels with my phone. Explore things from my bed without a bulky mouse and keyboard. One thing I would suggest for improvement is the desktop helper app ui. The font is bunched together, and when pairing through the local network the yes and no selection was hidden underneath the taskbar and had to guess which button to click for allow. Decent free app!The app was free and easy to install. It works pretty well but takes time to get used to. I think a long press feature for clicking would work better though instead of pressing buttons. There could be a lock feature on the long press click too in order to use left click for extended periods too. The regular swiping could still be used to move the mouse though. I just think it would be a great way to make this feel like a real mouse where the buttons are easy and fast to reach. I personally use this for drawing so features like that would be great for drawing on PCs with more storage. I prefer this over a mouse because it’s easier to draw. Excellent option for “TV” ComputerFirst off, if you’re downloading this app you are in a small niche of people looking for a keyboard for a unique situation. I’ve tried a few apps with limited to no success. I have a custom built gaming pc that it hooked up to a 65” tv in the living room. This pc is primarily used for gaming with some web surfing and movie watching. While I have a wired gaming keyboard and a Bluetooth keyboard I was looking for something I could on an as needed basis without dragging those keyboards out. This app fit the bill perfectly. Love itI just bought my first pc and I didn’t have a keyboard yet so this was a saving grace to get my computer setup. The software is super easy to install and everything from a normal keyboard works on here like copy from your phone and pasting onto the desktop. Even alt+tab works. I thought it would be slower than it actually is when I first installed it. Works perfectly!Went into this blindly thinking it would just be another app that fails my expectations but it exceeded them in many ways. Saved my very expensive computer!With this app I was able to reset my computer whose keyboard was randomly non-functional for months. I was able to save all of my items before a factory reset as I had all the capabilities with my phone as I would with the working keyboard. Now I keep the app in case anything ever goes wrong again, and just for fun! WAbout the app, does exactly what it says it does. And it does it well! My ten minutes of experience (as of now) has been really smooth. The UI is really clean and straightforward and the help section has everything covered to the finest detail so if you ever find yourself looking for any help, you won’t need to lose your hair. It just works, simple asI bough an iPad and Magic Keyboard, loving it, and my biggest issue is that my previous keyboard space is now my iPad space, which means I lost my Bluetooth keyboard for windows (nbd normally). Oh, im using a bed tray or lap table btw. So either way, just download one lightweight program on pc, and open this app, do what you need to do, then bam done. Loving this remoteLoving this app so far to display slideshows for the family on my primary, large flatscreen TV in my living room. It allows me to control my Mac Studio desktop computer in my office using WiFi to view my mirrored computer screen on the TV. Why is this not awarded yetThis is honestly one of the best apps I’ve used for a keyboard, remote, or even a mouse. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because it’s a matter of personal preference, but I believe that with a more user-friendly interface and better integration with Apple hardware, it could reach new heights. Fantastic app!I don’t normally write reviews, I know I should, I’m just forgetful, but this is the second remote mouse app I downloaded and it’s just so much better, I had to leave a review. The first app I tried was crazy slow, inaccurate, and wanted me to pay to click the Control and C keys at the same time. So far, so great!This app is actually pretty awesome. Free to use, full keyboard functions such as ctrl, alt, del, and so on. I downloaded this because i wanted a mouse and keyboard to use for when I’m being lazy and laying down and mixing on my digital audio workspace. Incredibly useful - great ux designI use this app to easily input characters for other languages on my pc which only has a physical English keyboard. Using my phone is easier because I can quickly switch between languages and see the characters on the screen. Connects well with my Microsoft laptopIt has a little preview on iPad screen too, so the little delay actually doesn’t matter, all the arrows are present so it’s really easy to correct the text AND you don’t need to reach out for the touchpad. An app that respects you!🛡️After years of frustrating apps that treat your data and their own users like a commodity and a given, I found this little gem. KDE Connect kept breaking on me, and I was ready to throw my devices out the window - then came "Mouse • Keyboard". — Why I love it: • Genuinely free (as in beer) - no micro-transactions, IAPs, subscriptions, extra purchases • Teeny-tiny footprint (just 2MB for the binary itself - because quality apps don’t need to be 900MB for less functionality than my toaster) • Built with care, precision and attention (and, probably, in Swift!🐦‍🔥) — The privacy buff in me is happy: I’m the annoying person that audits every network request on every app I use. I care a lot about controlling what my phone sends or asks for, and from who. This app barely whispers to the internet. • There’s one request to list the devices on the “cloud” (I assume if a local network connection is not available this is what it will use) • There is another to verify the Apple App Store receipt (aka license) for the app – not sure why, it’s free, but I’m content with that since it contains next to no data beyond the GPG certificates. Not even the headers track you much, there’s probably only a numerical user ID in there somewhere. • No further requests to any other other servers - both of those two were to Evgeny’s own “nodejs” domain. — Performance that just works, acceptably: On my 5GHz network, there are no issues. It feels like a regular trackpad with a decent polling rate. There’s the occasional dropped packet, but it quickly bounces back and, importantly, batches in all the updates so you don’t miss some movement. — The one downside Nobody’s perfect, that’s physically impossible! This app is not open-source, so I cannot guarantee that it’s squeaky clean of any backdoors, but let’s hope that it’s just my paranoia speaking, and not the horrifying truth.
