Great app!I have a large computer monitor in my home office and some times i like to sit in my chair on the other side of the room and watch tv from the computer. The biggest issue is not being able to control the computer without constantly getting up and walking over to it. So this is all i really use the app for and its really great. I honestly only hoped for something that worked like a mouse so i could control the screen from my computer even though it would be difficult since its a bit far away for me to see the mouse on the screen. This app also has a keyboard function and a nice little portion where it displays a grid with mute, volume down, volume up, back, play/pause, forward. And that covers what i need most of the time. My only suggestion for this little keyboard thing is that, if you happen to click over to another keyboard, sometimes im confused about getting back to the play/pause button, which is what i use most of the time. But if i click away it can be confusing because that portion of the remote is labeled with a volume symbol only. And my brain doesnt think to click on that symbol because thats not what i want, i want the play/pause button. So far so good - quick responseI have to admit, I’m on a tight budget having to cut costs so I really can’t fork out the $10 right now, but I gotta say, even the free version is very useful. My son is learning how to stream and our computers are next to each other. Sometimes, I’m in another part of the house and he texts me that I left the volume on my Mac turned on which chimes when I get notifications which bother him on his streaming. Now, I don’t have to walk all the way over there and I can simply launch the app and hit mute. Works well and does have some other cool features in the free version. When I’m off of financial lockdown, I’ll get the full app. The developer is very quick to respond which is always important. I was using Remote Pac - another fantastic app - and asked about the mute capability and he quickly responded with this app. I really do like the ability of the other app. I just wish it could mute the sound from that app, but all is good. Great functionality with peculiar UI and strangley anemic documentationI just downloaded this and initially I love what it can do as it was exactly what I was looking for, However, the overlap with its sister app NumPad, I struggle to understand why both of these apps artist single app. Both of these apps have great core function as far as what they can do, but Remote+ has a decidedly more opaque UI. For example, the favorites function doesn't seem to offer a way to add apps, shortcuts, or scripts to it. Also, unlike their very similar app NumPad there isn't a clear way to make custom control for specific apps. The Shortcuts list in Remote+ is the entire list of Shortcuts for the computer your controlling and there's no apparent way to create a subset of this list making it all but unmanageable, since most shortcuts that require input simply will not work. But for me, what is the MOST frustrating, is that the documentation isn't useful as its intent seems to be to showcase features rather than actually tell you how to use them! For example, if you go to the "apps" section of the documentation to find out how to add an app to the favorites, it tells you that "the favorites list is what it shows first", but has no information about how to add an app to that list. For the most part, in spite of the powerful features, the UI makes them difficult or impossible to make useful. For example, if you are connected to a Mac, the entire Shortcuts list is shown. Since most shortcuts require, some kind of text input, most of them simply won't work with remote. Honestly, you should be able to make us list of shortcuts that are specific to Remote+! Great app. Stream deck alternative. Good devThe full version of this app is amazing. The trial version, as others have said, has an ad wall (which is very fair for a free app with this much functionality). Switched to this app from the premium version of Yao’s remote mouse app, and the customization options this app gives you alone are worth the $. The UI isn’t as clean, but that’s a common cost for high customization and additional functionality. I’m very happy with it. There’s nothing this app won’t do for me, even replacing my Stream Deck & with a faster response too. This app gives Siri shortcut support as well, giving it a huge edge for those of us with applications of voice command. I really appreciate the dev for his constant work and updates. I had an issue, one patch, with my Siri Shortcuts. The dev responded the next day, and I didn’t hear back after sending him the app log, but the very next day it was patched. Great for movies and other mediaI don’t usually write reviews for apps but this one was too good not to. I don’t have a straight up TV in my room but I do have a monitor, the problem was if I wanted to use my Mac I’d have to sit close to the screen or use my mouse and keyboard, which are really inconvenient to use on a bed. I only really needed a mouse but this app solves that and a multitude of of other things. I don’t use the paid version, but the free version seems to have most of the same features with ads, which I’m fine with. There’s a small amount of input lag, which is to be expected, but it’s barely noticeable and doesn’t matter if you just need to be able to control the computer for movies or videos. The app does require a third party program to be installed on the device you want to control, but it was pretty straightforward other than needing to grant some permissions. Slight issues but otherwise amazingOther than like one or two issue this app has been amazing. I have hooked my super gaming pc to 2 monitors in one room and my OlED tv in another and use the tv in steam big picture mode to play games. My wired keyboard in the room with the monitors and computer can’t reach in to my tv room, and my wireless mouse doesn’t get a signal. And this app has changed ALL of that. It was an absolute dream to set up, it has absolutely zero lag or delay In My actions from phone to desktop. And the keyboard works great. My biggest issue is sometimes while using it. The signal will just randomly start to act like the down key is being pressed and will jsut constantly move everything down. And I will have to find clever way to get the mouse to the desktop companion app. Shut it off and restart it so it will reset and fix it. By far the best remote appThis is by far the best remote app for my Mac I have ever used. It works extremely well and the developer is very active with updates and bug fixes (it’s rare there is a bug but when one does pop up it is fixed very quickly). The app is all around great, I mainly use it as an iTunes remote for when I’m using my Mac to watch movies on my tv but I’ve found it’s great for long downloads or installing new software because I can mirror my macs screen and control everything without having to get up. Powerful and well done app!I use this app every single day. It’s expanded the ways I can interact with my devices and is one of the great tools I’ve stumbled across for use with home automation. Additionally, the app is beautifully designed and obviously something the developer has put an unbelievable amount of time and effort. Perfect fit!As someone who is basically quadriplegic, I have not purchased a computer in years. My son recently convinced me that I could manage quite well with a Mac mini. I'm a thumb-typist now and only with my right hand. I bought a gaming keyboard that fits in the palm of my hand but it feels clunky and awkward compared to my phone. Best remote app I have tried yetThis is the best remote app i have tried yet. Its very easy to scroll, click, and type. It is easy to connect, and it doesn’t lose connection for no reason (like another app I’ve tried). I paid a couple dollars for the premium version to get more features (i forgot what specifically—maybe to get rid of ads). Also, this app is frequently updated, but you can choose not to update if you want. I used to use monect pc remote. When it worked, monect was good, but it often disconnected for no apparent reason. Often times it wouldn’t connect or work for a day or two, even after reinstalling the software on my computer and phone. The final straw was when they took their advertising to the next level and started making me watch an ad literally every time I opened the app. This pc remote is much better. It works!! 🎉🎉OMG, I never write reviews but I had to for this app! My stupid TV died on me so I was just going to watch tv from laptop until I get mine fixed or get a new one. I searched online for all kinds of remote apps, tried screen mirroring, and it didn’t work until I found this app. I was skeptical at first, but as soon as I figured it out (which took me a minute because I’m not very savvy) it worked! This is the most helpful app I’ve ever found.(Edit) now that I’ve had this app for a few weeks and dug into the settings I have to say that this is the best money I’ve ever spent on an app. Well worth the money. I can literally program buttons on my iPhone and iPad to preform any keyboard shortcut, app shortcut, mouse function, etc. You have full customization over the button function, track pad location, button color, icon, title, etc. I just finished setting up a custom remote to control my PC for watching movies and videos. I’ve always had a PC attached to my TVs so I’m not always limited by a “Smart TV”. I’ve always had a wireless keyboard with a track pad to control it. Mind blown!This app is honestly amazing! You can do pretty much anything you want it to when it comes to connecting to your Mac it has dedicated apps that run from Mac that are easily controlled by your phone such as iTunes, FaceTime etc. allowing you to open or close the application that includes third-party apps as well like Microsoft word or PowerPoint. but the best part is it also works as a keyboard and mouse. I love this feature because my magic keyboard and mouse sometimes have to charge and while they’re charging I have a back up plan, it’s also amazing because my Mac sits sort of in front of my bed where I tend to watch and stream videos which was a nuisance to have to get up to go browse the next episode, but now I don’t have to! Just started usingI am a pastor who uses a program called pro presenter to run slides during messages. Pro presenter does not have a simple remote app to do this only a robust remote for producers who are technically savvy. I just needed to be able to use the up, down, right, and left arrows to go through slides. There are physical remotes that let you go left and right to advance slides but not up and down to change presentations. I can do that simply with this remote. Perfect for Remote Audio PlaybackI work from home most days of the week right now and like to stream my Roon library from the server through my MacbookPro in an adjacent room with the stereo system. This app does exactly what I require by allowing me to remotely control playback and even see what is happening on screen without having to get up and walk over to control the laptop on a smaller table. It Works, but I have Feedback!My boyfriend got me introduced to this app as I watch TV on my PC Monitor, but I don’t like getting up to click on my mouse turning everything off at 3:00 in the morning. Great App, Keyboard & Mouse AlternativeI plug my laptop to the living room TV to watch movies with my family, but always struggled with using the wireless KB&M when I’m trying to relax on the couch. Fair Paywall, Usable For FreeI was just looking for a wireless mouse/touchpad to control my Mac as it’s plugged into the TV. This app does that and gives more convenient features I didn’t even know I needed (easy access to play/pause, volume, screen and keyboard brightness). The UI is extremely user-friendly and doesn’t suffer from an overstuffed or messy design like some other remotes. Of course, there is a paywall, app designer has to get paid, I guess, but as far as I can tell, the app is usable with 100% of the features for free. I assume the paid version doesn’t interrupt you every couple dozen clicks to ask you to pay, and I think that’s a fair tradeoff. It’s amazing if you wanna watch moviesI watch anime on my computer by hooking it up to my projector. I lost my mouse recently, and decided to give this a try. I will seriously never use a mouse for this again! The app works so well, and it’s owned by an indie developer! So, the money goes to help a person instead of a random corporation. It connects quick and easy no issues, can put to sleep, wake up, and easily adjust the size of any window on my Mac without issue. That’s without paying for the premium features😌. Must get this app!!!So good, u can ditch ur roku box/ps4/blue ray player… hook up a pc/laptop to ur tv , sit back and u got ur controller in ur phone. One thing I would recommend is the ability for users to create their own remote dashboards when in the tab in the very bottom left. Although it does let u make ur own shortcut there in that tab, u are unable to edit the remote layout! And therefore unable to add, adjust or delete a layout on a new remote page. Therefore, the only way to have a fully customize remote layout there is by creating it all at once because we r unable to change the layout after confirming the initial set up. Great Mouse, Awesome for Handwriting InputThe process for connecting my iPad to my PC was seamless, and everything went really smoothly. This mouse unlocks so much, and makes so many apps on my computer much more accessible! I was pleasantly surprised. However, what I really wanted was to be able to use my iPad as an input method for handwriting Chinese characters onto my PC. With a speedy reply from the developer, I'm glad to say that I was able to achieve that goal with this app! Moving the slider to slow down the tracking speed did the trick. Just testing it so farSeems pretty flawless so far, but I’ve just used it for a few minutes. I’ll likely buy it if it still works in a week. The brightness adjustment function doesn’t seem to work. Not sure if that’s because I have a touchbar computer or not. The keyboard brightness adjustment seems to work, which is also part of the touchbar, so I don’t know. The screen brightness adjustment is important to me, as I’m only interested in the arrow keys, system sound adjustment, and play pause functions. Hopefully I can get the brightness to work and I’ll be happy. I’m in control of Devices too..Great application and very well developed.. Some of the perks are given complimentary with the requisition for a subscription to have 100% access to all features.. This is fine by me, I mean to download a remote control application, concern for all feature access shouldn’t matter, it doesn’t to me anyway.. All around great way to control my computerI use a suite of “power apps” on my macs, Alfred, this Remote app, and other smaller ones. I’ve tried Alfred’s remote app, but its no where near as intuitive as this one. Plus this one can control my apple tv too. Does what it says!Having multiple displays with different sources in my garage created a challenge of controlling music depending on the configuration I wanted to run so having control of my MacBook from my phone eliminates carrying around a wireless mouse and keyboard. I am an English digital nomad working in Mexico and the rs-net-get website stays in Spanish even when I try to switch to English it autogeolocates back to Spanish. The second bug is that is seems to snap to horizontal/vertical axis - spinning circles with finger fast creates rectangles. I would like a "Disable Axis Lock / Smoothing" option. If there's none (I am a software developer) then I know why this occurs; this bug is caused by rounding deltas to integers X and Y axis - these X and Y coordinates should be floats or doubles until positions are transmitted over the network. Simulate a gaming mouse raw input much better, for ultra precision adobe photoshop control. That way subpixel movements on touchscreen are not decimated and create false snap-to-axis effects Also I suggest a "Game Mode" setting to send 240 or 500 position updates per second instead of 60. Your app is a superior gaming trackpad to my PC gaming laptop's trackpad and I can shake to fullscreen, put phone landscape in place of laptop trackpad. Newer Wifi6/7 on both ends can easily do jitter free 240 position updates per second with zero jerkiness. Shady developer with an attitude problemSimple remote app that is weighed down by a predatory subscription based pricing plan, unfortunately a growing trend in software these days. The developer also sees fit to include nag screens asking for reviews, not only in pop-ups, but large portions of the UI are dedicated to long winded letters from the developer begging for reviews/free promotion. This continues even after you’ve paid for the overpriced “lifetime” license. The pop-ups were recently again reactivated in a recent update, and I suspect there will be more in the future. The remote software that’s needed to be installed and running at all times on your Mac/PC is also hosted on an unprofessional looking website with broken contact links, the developer is also suspended from Twitter. The functionality itself leaves a lot to be desired, the default keypad layout makes no sense, needlessly separating functions into different pages. The scrolling on the virtual touchpad is laggy and unresponsive. I do not have these issues with other remote apps. I would suggest something open source instead of mistakenly supporting a developer with gross business practices. I have uninstalled and won’t be using it further. Wish I had gotten a refund instead of listening to all the positive hype in the reviews ignoring all these glaring issues. The developer should spend less time arguing with anyone who criticizes his app in the reviews and more time learning more respectable business practices. Test the free trial before purchasing, total fail for me.I really wanted this to work, seemed like a great solution. I have a one year old dell running windows 11 and iPhone 16. Both my devices work perfectly on their own. I downloaded the app and the PC file and connection was super fast and easy. Initial use seemed fairly intuitive, and I knew there would be a learning curve and I was ready to dive in. After about three minutes, my laptop went bonkers, almost like the “tab” key was being pushed and held. I force closed the app and that didn’t solve it so I hard reset my phone and that didn’t solve it, so I had to force closed my PC and then turned it back on. The cursor and my open windows were no longer possessed. Opened the app and all was well again for about three minutes and then same thing all over again. The second issue I had is after opening a few windows and files, the mouse function would glitch. Rather than open a photo file, it would open the “properties” window and there was never anyway to get it back to just opening a file. This would have rendered the app unusable as well, but I never got a chance to troubleshoot it because of the other issue mentioned. I don’t think user error, because it would work correctly, and then it would not, and I wasn’t changing what I was doing on my end, I was just opening and closing photos files and folders..Tr12eh34ppVersion: 2025.13

Good luck using this for anything other than Apple TVThought I was buying a universal remote control that I could also use as a mouse and keyboard for my computer, after purchasing, and having difficulties their troubleshooting section states, it only works with LG and Samsung TVs, not to mention the complexity of steps in time if you were to attempt to install it on a computer. Also, reading the troubleshooting section it post a question that must be frequent asking why customers have to pay for the app, the answer to this question was the specific app doesn’t need as many permissions authorized as the free apps offered by LG and Samsung. Come on really 10 bucks to not ask to use Bluetooth or my location. Both of which probably will enable more reliable connection. And after reading the troubleshooting section and question answers, it was obvious I got ripped off and immediately requested a refund. Don’t make the same mistake as me unless your hobby is computer, programming, or coding to which you are extremely proficient. Takes too long to try itI used to have an app called Hippo Remote which worked really well. As it happens sometimes, Apple rolls out a new iOS and the apps you purchased cease to work if the developer does not update the app. So I tried this app. 1. The free version doesn’t let you do anything, it is really annoying, waste of time to install it. 2. I don’t like the yearly payment option where you can cancel after a month - typically you have to fill out a form with payment details (time consuming) + need to remember to cancel outstanding payments, prefer to pay when I need the product). There is no option to try the app for a little while and then pay if you find the app useful. So i decided to purchase the app to try it, to then discover that my MacMini cannot run the helper (you need OSX 10.9 min). True it is stated in the system requirements section but when you purchase the app through an iphone (it is an iphone app after all) you need to click to look for additional information, it is not that obvious.
