A couple of frustrating bugsWhen I go to add a folder, if I first add an external folder (outside the mobius sync folder) it creates the bookmark:xxx identifier as "file path", but when I add a "folder label" (the first text field in the general tab of the add folder modal) the file path is overwritten by your new label, you have to type a label and then select your external folder Also I deleted the default folder because I didn't need it, when my only folder was that external folder and I tried to sync, there would be no error, the file path would be correct, the state of the folder on my other machine would be correct ("3 directories, 500kb" etc) but nothing would appear on that filesystem. When I added a file on the remote folder, it showed up in the mobius sync folder on my iphone as if it was treating the default folder as the external folder. very screwy and I cried and reinstalled everything before getting it to work. 4 stars because once its setup it works smooth and i know iOS is a PITA so thanks for your work.LookalivesoftwareVersion: 1.23.2

Missing a key feature for mobileThis is a pretty solid GUI for Syncthing. I’m still experimenting, but there is one key feature that appears to be missing — *especially* important for mobile devices. I need the ability to selectively sync. I want to see a listing of everything that’s in a given shared directory, but don’t actually download it to my phone unless I say so. This is available in Resilio Sync, which is the main app I’m considering other than Syncthing. In Resilio I have a synced folder on my home computer that has almost a Terabyte of stuff. On my phone I can browse all of it, and if I want a particular file I tap to download that file to my phone. Unless I’m missing a setting somewhere, Mobius and Syncthing doesn’t have anything like this. I either download it to my phone or it’s not linked at all. No in between..Stee-riderVersion: 1.2

Overall pretty good - Any chance for an update?So far has been a decent port of Syncthing. Update schedule is a bit slower if you’re waiting for the latest updates. Gap in Syncing iOS photosWith google photo backup not being free anymore I was looking for options to sync my iOS photos with a server. Finally!I have been waiting for a native syncthing client fry iOS since using it as my primary desktop sync tool three years ago. This app works great and while there is some chunkiness to using it iPhone, it’s much better to retain the privacy and security nature of the platform. Works flawlessly on my Arch distroI'm running Garuda KDE and it works flawlessly. Make sure to use systemctl command to enable and start the service. Syncing android to mobius is a challengeTo get mobius to sync with android, I had to disable auto accept. When möbius says android want to share a folder, I had to override the default ./camera to just camera. I could now sync android pictures to my iPad. Had to pay to get full sync, but the little sync they offered was enough to debug mobius and find a work around for this bug..EcurbZVersion: 1.21.0

Does what it says!Can’t say much more than the title. This app provides an admittedly basic implementation of a Syncthing client, but the basicness can be blamed due to restrictions built into iOS. I would suggest reading the FAQ on the app website because it’ll answer most question you might have (did for me). It cannot directly integrate the with Photos app and can’t run in the background full time, but those are iOS problems, not problems caused by the developer. To the developer: after reading through the website it is clear you have put lots of passion into creating a well-made STABLE Syncthing client for iOS. No how, no wayI had to throw in the towel. First, thanks to the developers for offering a TRIAL version - very much appreciated so I don’t blow money for something I can’t use. Doesn’t work, don’t waste your money.No matter what I do, when I click “open folder” it won’t take me to the folder I’ve designated for a synced folder. It takes me to the “on my device” folder, and when I manually navigate to the folder I designated, it’s empty. Under the panel in mobius, it claims that my files have been synced. But they’re nowhere to be found in the files app, no matter what I do or where I look. Extremely frustrating. There is no documentation whatsoever on how to properly set up folders, which I have to assume is intentional at this point. Just another iOS app taking your money in exchange for false promises. Extremely frustrating. I’d happily pay $50 for an app that legitimately delivered on the promise of bringing full Syncthing functionality to iOS. But sadly it looks like that will never happen. Not voiceover accessibleI absolutely love syncthing on my desktop machines. It’s lightweight, fast, and once it’s set up it just works. I am sorely disappointed that I can’t bring that to my phone. I am blind and I use voiceover. I can’t make it past the splash screen. Unable to purchase on iPhone 12I successfully installed on iPad. I am unable to use on iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 Max, the purchase pop up is unusable. As it appears to be a per device purchase, not activated by the iPad purchase, so non-starter on my iPhone.
