Good app. No supportI like this app very much. It has a surprising amount of features. But I paid $2.99 (one time charge. What precisely does this mean?) to make avatars. 48 hours and still working on them? I tried to try again. But I can’t because they are working on the first batch. I tried getting in touch with them. The only way via email which apparently does not work. (If I could I wouldn’t post it in a review.) Lastly and this apparently is common practice among different apps, why crop the top of the head off? Let me decide how I want to design my compositions. Download this one!I’ve been apart of this app for a while now. I’ve been able to do a lot of pranks and things with this app. The voices truly sound like the person their supposed to, unlike some other apps that make you sound like glitched out robot. Even the new voices sound great, especially when recording like it says in a quiet scenario so the recorder only picks up your voice, it works like magic! I’ve tried countless other apps, and have been let down and disappointed so many times, when I found this one I was very weary since all the others (at least the ones I’ve tried which is over a dozen) have so many bugs you sound like a robot or don’t even begin to work. Needs workSome good ideas and should develop into something really good, but at this point it still cannot handle words. There is a creation made for and called “logo”. It cannot reproduce your logo without changing words to misspell words that were provided for it in the logo image. Also, the really cool creation that has the little working people does not recreate food that looks anything like the picture you give it. I was expecting our food with little people added, but instead it creates some loose representation of the picture you provide. Shook😂I wanted to see what my boyfriend would look like as a model!!! so good! I think he’s going to start modeling now! The template that they’re using, unfortunately is not body conscious so it will make you look thinner and slimmer than you actually are which gives a clear indicator that this is artificial. Also, if you are real model like me who can shape shift and has a versatile look, depending on the photographer and the lighting when I uploaded different photos of myself, I am photogenic and so the final product Glam produced didn’t look like my authentic self, but a blend of all of my looks into one which also is an indicator that this is artificial. Why I use the app.Well I’ve softened my thoughts on the app and once again like it. I figured out a manual way to download my images and the developers have been helping out a bit. They still have eliminated many of the great styles they originally had and tha really bugs me but the enhancement features is great. Initially I loved this app but now I am completely dissatisfied with it as the app no longer allows a download of finished images without a huge ugly watermark and no download button is there anymore for direct action. They have also deleted many of the great styles you could process an image through like lingerie, leather and headshots. I’ve written more than five time in the last week and no one will respond. I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with this one. My original revue below. I found the many different looks you can filter photos through a great way to diversify my AI images. The main ones I use are to enhance the bodies of the photo figure models I shoot with. It’s okIt’s not bad for what it is. It’s certainly not the most powerful AI and the whole coin thing is annoying if you have to subscribe anyway. I do wish you could filter the post feed within the app though. It’s fun to see what people come up with but like 80% is the same 3 little kid filters. It would just be nice to have some variety. Most of the other picture modifications work ok if you are applying them correctly. Video (like most ai videos) leaves a lot to be desired. I love the anime video filters, but I can find info on how long the videos can be before applying your effects to it. Not badIt’s pretty good for a mostly free app, I feel like it’s underrated honestly and told my friends about it, I hope they improve Charlie voice and review the others to make sure they’re perfect because Charlie voice is softer and doesn’t seem so on the app, other than that the app is pretty good, also it told me to share the app to unlock more voices though it didn’t unlock anything and that was on Ariana grande and it didn’t unlock her so I hope they fix that. Good but okHey This app is really nice cause you get to fake looks. I really love the looks cause they look so realistic (Taylor swift and Zendaya!!!) The only problem is that the voice are robotic and glitchy. If you wanted a clear voice, you would have to talk really quietly in a quiet spot, but still wouldn’t sound good. I have been emailing with the company forever and they keep running me around in circles in circles and circles. I had to contact my bank and report it as fraud because they refused to cancel it. I have given them my email address. They keep saying that they can’t cancel it that I have to do it from my subscriptions, but it doesn’t show up in my subscriptions, but they refuse to cancel it. They keep telling me they can’t find my email address in their system, but I have sent them screenshots of my bank statement. I repeat do not download. Also their response is inaccurate. I did provide my email and a screenshot of it in my account on the app. I also did provide a screenshot of my bank statement with the charges and dates. The only thing they haven’t asked for and at this point I’d be afraid to give them are my last 4 digits of my bank card. Not A Good App At AllI used this app to make some social content for my videos and was highly disappointed. They roped me in to buying the yearly subscription by not letting me use the features that were most appealing. Kinda scammy. And AI is not that great.So the worst part is this. It’s subscription based. You pay for a weekly, monthly, or yearly plan. I tried the week plan to test it. As you can imagine I was surprised to see micro transactions just to use the software. You’re subscription gives you coins and you use the coins to make videos. Don’t worry if you run out of coins you can watch advertisements to get more. I didn’t stick around to see if I could buy more. The use of the software should have been unlimited with the subscription. The videos were all templates. I used the sonic one. So I took a picture of my 8yr old son, the AI then transferred my sons face to the template they have. It wasn’t the worst quality. But it didn’t look anything like my son. It left the templates hair “which was way longer than my sons”. Over all if you want AI video editing software I’d do a little more research. Complete GarbageI got this app for video. First off, there is no trial, you have to pay to try it. So I did. THEN you find out you’re pretty much stuck with a couple 4 second videos you’re allow to make with a weird coin system. The worst part is, if the result is poor quality, too bad. Thank god I paid the weekly rate. I was able to generate 2 pictures and 2 4 second videos, all were terrible. I downloaded one picture that sucked the least, and just deleted the rest. Not sure what you’re supposed to do with that garbage, I certainly didn’t want to look at it, I can stare at the Sun if I want a similar experience. I’ll put it this way, I had enough coins left to go another photo and a week left in this time, but the quality is so terrible that I just deleted the app and canceled the subscription about an hour after I paid for it. What it does mange to spit out isn’t the worst thing on the world, but it’s hardly usable for anything and just looks like every other generative “AI” app result out there, which was a popular look for about 12 minutes, a couple years ago but has failed to improve beyond looking like a mix of bad knockoffs. There may be some better things about this app, but at the rate of about $1 per second, I wasn’t going to waste anymore money to try and find it. Prompts not adding upWhen selecting a particular group to create the image from it hasn’t so far, used what I thought I would be getting . Cool but misleadingIdealistically this is a cool idea. But the app is very misleading. You buy a subscription, which is costing you over $50 for the year. And then when you try to create a video, you have to buy additional coins to access any of the AI generated Videos. Which I did both. Excited to see what they could do with a product photo, it took six minutes to upload, which I understand the processing time. But once it developed to my photo into a video… That was it— I was unable to give any recommendations on colors, textures, pretty much anything. So whatever it generated is what you are stuck with. It would be worth the money if you could direct the app better. Too glitchyI would love to give this app a better review but with every update it’s getting worse. While I understand the constraints of ai editing what I don’t understand is how the app started to automatically download every edit I made (even if I didn’t say I like it or wanted to download it ) worse than that even though I am a paid subscriber it’s downloading the content with a HUGE glam app logo on it. When I went to email customer service for a fix they told me to book a call and gave me a measly few hours in a calendly window to chose from. Hours I work my full time job. Awesome but almost no accuracyPROS: 1. Transforms videos or images into extremely eye catching content. 2. A decent amount of different effects. 3. While the app processes your content, you can minimize it and it will tell you when it’s ready. CONS: 1. The app doesn’t stay true to an image. For example, I tried to add different effects to a picture of a big tattoo that clearly says “SPOOK.” After trying different effects, they all generate really cool images, but the subject is discarded. In other words, “SPOOK” is completely removed, and I’m left with just really cool random images. 2. Very expensive to use. 3. Even after buying the “Pro” subscription, you still have to buy “coins” to create videos. It’s 10 coins PER SECOND! 4. I was not happy with this app. The makeover images looked nothing like me and were too animated. This app should have a trial period. I selected the option to Restore Purchase but didn’t get my money back. I contacted the Glam Team regarding my disapproval but was told I should have read the details more closely. Apparently, there was the option to adjust my photo. I never found this option. I asked for a refund but got no further response. I am surprised this app has so many users. Not usable for productsIf you’re just looking to make silly videos of yourself, this probably works well. But if you’re doing what they advertise, putting your product in to try to create short videos, this won’t work. Every product image I put into this app was fundamentally changed by the AI. It was not programmed to leave the product alone. So any labels were scrambled. Colors were changed. Shapes were changed. Sometimes it inexplicably would keep the word on the product but delete the product itself. It wasn’t my product anymore. So I couldn’t use the video. Not even close. Not even in the ballpark. Not as it seemsI am trying to insert my product where we have all the workers around actively working around it. I paid for a monthly membership. And an added 7 dollar upgrade. I have one where the workers are “building” around it but the only thing that moves is the bottle. I also chose the new one in Times Square where the billboard is on the right hand side. Felt like I have been scammedOk so at first as a free user I could do pics.. so I paid to do video… it only allowed 4 sec. Videos… like ? What did I pay for? Glam AII really like the app most of the time. Sometimes the AI does weird things and wrong things and you have to redo it. Which costs more coins. Plus I absolutely hate having to buy coins. I subscribed for a whole year and then found out about the coins. I’ve already unsubscribed and will be done with it once the subscription is over. I don’t like paying twice. I already hate subscriptions. I like stand alone apps you buy once and done. Disappointing Experience – Not a Good Fit for Branding NeedsWe were really hoping this app would be a helpful tool for creating branded images and videos, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Black peopleI find that the images of dark skin people and children either gets transformed into cartoon although the sample shows edited versions if the actual face. Also the characters in the image changes than the original sample. And the age changes although kid is selected. It’s not as demure as the white kids in the sample. So I’m not so impressed by the interpretation of this app. I wouldn’t recommend it to my fellow black friends and families. Don’t download this appThis is the worst ai app I have ever used. It says for a yearly plan subscription that it will cost $54 / 90 something cents a week. My bank account was charged $74 all at once for this app, an amount that is well over what is advertised. It takes almost 7 minutes for content to download and then when content is fully downloaded the end product is not even close to the original picture I uploaded to be merged with the ai video.
