Great app, amazing developer!!It’s an amazing app I use it for all my beats and really enjoy the different options. There are however a few things that could make this a lot better. It would be nice if there were an option to turn off auto repeat. It’s very difficult to stop the music right at the moment the track ends and because of this it requires trimming the video before I can upload. If this is a feature you can implement I’d be eternally grateful. This last one is just a personal bummer for me. I can never use the really cool triangle background from the space category. (The big semi transparent triangle.) both options only allow me to use the small triangles that flow out in all directions. This is probably due to a simple issue with my phone not being able to differentiate between the two. Keep up the good work and thanks for Vythm!! Edit: The storage issue was fixed so I removed that from the review. I’ll also add that this is a pretty amazing developer who actually cares about the people using the product and making it more useful to them. AmazingDo you think you could allow videos; stored on my iPad, to be used as backgrounds? The photo option is great but allowing videos; which could be synced to the tempo would trip this baby out. Fading back and forth from the background to the fx would be cool with filters like in the app “Fuzed”. Congratulations on a stellar effort! Great for sharing original music!I use this for creating psychedelic videos to go with my original music and it is so easy and versatile to use. So many parameters and options, along with the ability to set effects to the beat makes it super customizable. I’ve bought a few in-app purchases and was not disappointed with the add on packs. Works great on both iOS and MacOS. I wish the in app purchases were cross platform, but I don’t mind having one on my phone and a different one on the Mac. I won’t be double-buying them, but I do think the packs are a reasonable price considering the work this developer puts into the app. He even has his own Discord for support..No one particularVersion: 3.4.1

Great visuals and customizationI do not normally leave reviews on apps I download, but I thought this one deserves it. I have very much enjoyed this app and its awesome customization. This is one of the few apps that i know of that have such an in depth customization for free without purchasing anything. Recently I had an issue with audio going to my Bluetooth speakers being very grainy and slow, reached out to Marvin and got everything sorted out. Excellent VisualizerI appreciate Marvin Krueger for being able to preview his app before purchasing. As a composer I wanted a visualizer for my music and Vythm has all the features I have been looking for. There is a complimentary mode that you can try out, but I purchased all the modes once I saw the quality of Marvin's work. They are resonably priced! Really cool, excellent supportI ran this on OSX, and it's got the vibe of an iOS app. With that said, it ran really well, performance was excellent, and the video tutorials are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - like I said, it feels like an iOS app and that makes it a little bit of a fish-out-of-water on OSX. Do NOT let that make you think this app doesn't absolutely rock - it is fantastic, highly customisable, generates really cool imagery based on the audio. Great app!I think the best iOS music visualizer I’ve used so far, love the camera background that is impacted by the effects, tons of creative potential there. A couple things that I think would be cool to add since it seems the dev is listening: Would love an option for the random sync that was in numbers of beats instead of seconds, or maybe just number of LFO cycles, could make it simple to set up more in sync transitions. Sort of related would be a tap tempo mode, where the LFO tempo could be controlled in real time by tapping the screen. Put both together and I could run my whole video rig from my iPhone while I’m playing music. Anyway, super cool app already! Thanks for all the work that’s gone into it!.The Ben CVersion: 2.0

Nice program!This is a wonderful program. There are a few things tho… On my iPad Pro the external audio in ceases to work when I plug in an HDMI adapter. Midi control works great although I cannot find a way to get it out of Omni mode. Lastly if using a sequencer playing sounds and midi opening this app shuts off the audio, but the midi keeps playing. Lastly can we also choose which algorithm to play with midi? I really want to work with this app live but not quite yet it seems..SamsjamzVersion: 3.1.1

Great app except for one glaring issueI really like this app for making visuals to put to my music for social media use. However, the app takes a high quality WAV and turns it into complete garbage quality. I’m not sure what the reasoning is here but i have to take my final product and put it into iMovie with the HQ audio after I’m done in the app. It’s a shame bc if this wasn’t an issue, it would be the best app on the market for its purpose..TopCochVersion: 6.2.6

Please fix thisI have had the app for months and I really love it. I have been purchasing the packs separately because I don’t want another subscription and in the recent updates you took the option to purchase separate effects away and made it to where we can only buy a subscription. please switch it back I already own like 9 of them and it’s a big bummer I now have to pay monthly or yearly just to get the other ones I don’t own yet. Still an amazing app. It’s the best visualizer I have found in the App Store and I have checked out a ton. Fantastic VisualizerI have been a fan of audio visulizers since the original Geiss screensaver/Winamp plugin. This is by far the best one that I've come across since Milkdrop. Decent app but no one time purchaseWorks great, functional with a good U.I. If you could air play this app to smart t.v’s, projectors, or other devices it would be more useful. Good VJ app but needs more featuresThis is a good app with some very cool visuals but it needs some kind of a sequencer to time it to music. Clumsy UI, possibly broken?This app was great but something weird is happening with the UI. The playback (pause/stop) disappeared from the bottom of the screen. Great for a DJ livestreamI recently started using this with my green screen setup for my DJ streams. I run this on my DJ computer with the audio directly from the DJ software. I run the feed from Vythm over NDI to my streaming machine and send it with my cameras and other stuff overtop. Its so easy to use and has great looking visualizations. Inexpensive VJ/Visualizer for iOSThis works really well on my iPad Pro M1, even dialed up to the highest output settings. It tends to crash randomly on my Macbook Pro M1 however, although it's not technically rated for that OS. Gorgeous visuals with some bad choices for usersI was excited to find this visualizer with such great performance and a video background, but ultimately am disappointed by some upsell choices by developer which make it undesirable. The app includes a “random” feature which cycles through FX and colors and is just what I was looking for, but as it cycles, it strangely includes settings that you haven’t purchased yet. These settings are at a lower resolution and labeled as PREVIEW so it really ruins the flow of the visuals. This dark pattern is a way to force you into buying more settings, and the developer should instead have a toggle that skips unpurchased settings in the random loop. Even if you purchase ALL the settings, the app still shows advertisements for the developer’s other apps, and again ruins the flow of the visuals. It’s almost like the developer doesn’t want you to enjoy all the hard work they’ve done. It’s a shame the developer has made these choices because the visuals are awesome.
