Favorite game but cheating confirmedDevs, please. I have been a skeptic about the reviews claiming cheating until I faced a player named Alex who could put out King Ghidora and Rodan (11 points) within the first 5 seconds of the match where I only had the points to answer with 10 points after about 7 seconds. Then when I’m able to take care of that with he is able to do it again there’s just no way he’s able to do keep putting out this much without an energy cell and he goes with the same combo and another 6 point within seconds. To add to this, I defeated his Kiryu and still had health on my leader and then my final bit of life is just ticked away with no reasonable explanation. This dude just had all the energy to keep putting out an absurd offensive and look im not upset I lost that happens often at 5900 rank and to much better players but this seemed so off I have to say something..MrMelanomaVersion: 145 (2.3.2)

Fun but DON’T PAY for expeditions!The game itself is fun and yes there are glitches but the developers seem quick to fix those. The trap is in the special addition purchase expeditions they promote. Do not waste your money on these! I have spent entire months saving up gems and previously bought gems specifically to get the premium expedition maps with the “higher chance“ of getting the special four-star character that I really really wanted but you will never ever get them. Only basic characters have ever populated even with these special limited “once only” purchase maps. If it’s a one time offering map that I’m having to pay to get the character for, I want that character! Yes, yes developer, I know you display their odds of getting the premium characters but no matter what their odds if you were always going to get rigged in the bottom of the odds then you will never ever get them and they are not worth your time or money on. It is a frustrating waste and I am completely done with that aspect of it. Sidenote, developers also need to learn a little bit about passive reinforcement. If you want players to keep paying for your premium offerings you need to let them get their desired characters more often than not to keep them coming back and paying for those opportunities. Game was fixedI actually really enjoy this game, other than some units in the last season being completely unbalanced, most matches were still fun. Since the new season launched my game was just completely broken, more than half the time I got matched with someone I would be sent back to the main menu instantly because my opponent canceled, if I managed to get into the match my energy glitched and produced no energy and no units would place or move. After about 4 days almost all bugs were fixed and matchmaking problems were fixed quickly. Godzilla (2021)’s atomic breath still glitches if the match ends while he's firing it, the audio track for his breath won’t end and the game needs to be restarted to fix, oh and he is laughably underpowered and currently serves very little purpose in the game. If all the bugs got fixed, the game would easily be a 5 star for me as the game fits a mobile platform very well it doesn’t feel pay to win, as the game matches you with equal rank players, and it’s the most enjoyable mobile game I’ve ever played regardless to balancing issues, and as a massive godzilla fan I’m not disappointed with any choices with monsters other than Godzilla (2021), pls buff..Cheesecake1010010Version: 1.3.2

Good update but…I’m loving the new update but It does come with a couple glitches though, where I skip the introduction of unlocking the expedition maps and the intro music is still playing when I skip it, and another one where I exit the game and come back in and it shows that on of my missions has been like, restarted, and another one where when I press ranked match, I’m on the “looking for players” place, but I can still see the main menu in the background of it, and where I can’t put one poster on one building, and put another one on another building, I can only one poster on one building, and I’m not able to put another one on another building, only one, and another glitch where the buildings health disappears, and when it usually says that you have 30 seconds left, but for me, I’m in English mode, and it said 30, and the Japanese version of the word seconds, and another one where when I use a unit, and another unit comes and says it’s 5 energy, and I’m able to use it, when I only have 3 energy And P.S, please make a cheat fire wall, I just encountered with a person who put out a Mothra larva, then anguirus, and then Mechagodzilla.Fnaf likerVersion: 1.3.0

Players are hacking the game.Normally I wouldn’t waste my time writing reviews, but this frustrated me to my core. I’ve been heavily enjoying the game, even spent real money on it. But today I came across someone who was using abilities that locked down every monster I had on the field, froze them completely making them see through, nothing could move. This player was also labeled as a “Civilian” with Mothra as their leader. I dont remember the name, but ive seen the abilities of the stuff theyve used before in the field, and absolutely None of the characters can do those thing. Slow stuff down yes. But full on stop characters from moving and making them incorporeal is another. Also, the few monsters I Was allowed to let move, were one shot by everything they summoned to the field. Ive had mostly good matches with people, and even my losses were fun. But this entire battle lasted seconds and as I said before, things were happening that made no sense. I’ll raise the stars as soon as you guys find these players and get them removed. Fun but far from Balanced matches…This game is extremely fun I enjoy collecting the different monsters and building my team the way i want it in fact that’s the most fun to it battling other players is fun but more often than not just frustrating and annoying if you’re not playing in fair matches which who cares about fair matches because you don’t get any rewards the ranked matches are completely unbalanced one match you can be fighting someone that just started the game even though you’ve been playing for months and then the next match you fight someone who’s been playing for much much longer and spends money left and right to be completely OP with one monster destroying the entire team of yours. The idea of this game is very fun and I still like it quite a bit but being so unbalanced just makes it feel like why am I even playing this why do I even bother if things are going to be so unbalanced, overpowered, or pay to win more then half the time it is very discouraging. Very fun but with the matches…Godzilla battle line is a very fun and addictive game. You progress fast and don’t feel the need to get 4 star kaiju from the get go. Yes balanced matches is long gone but my main complaint could be stoped if you have good internet. First of all I’m not complaining about the combat and it is very good in making fun hard and tense games, but when you have found a match but you have bad internet the opponent changes and due to the game loading and the cancel option removed it could soft lock your game making you reload and could be a great annoyance. And in the matches when you lose connection or your opponent lost it too It could be really annoying in you are about to win the game or you hope your opponents timer runs out and you win. And lets talk about that in the 2 scenario’s one is going to be mad in the fact the one was about to win and your opponent gets rewarded due to bad connection you couldn’t stop. Many problems but still goodThis is a very fun game, don’t get me wrong, but it has MANY flaws. For one, the meta right now is broken. When you reach gold league or above because of the “matching” thing you run into people who spam this overpowered meta, causing you to lose over and over and never be able to jump up in rank. Something to fix this is to 1, nerf the current meta, 2 remove the “matchmaking” thing and just have us fight whoever is online (optional) and 3, give trophies to help you get a higher rank even IF you lose. I don’t want to stay in master forever and want to get higher, so if there is a new meta, I would like to at least receive SOME points if I lose. Not as much for winning but still some of the blue trophy things instead of 0. Another flaw is that some Kaiju aren’t really unique. It would be more fun if each Kaiju had a specific ability to help them in combat. 3rd and final issue is how long expeditions take for pretty boring rewards usually, but that’s just a minor nitpick. Really good conceptThe game play is super fun and there is so much thought put into the fine details that fans can appreciate. It has a couple of issues however, and most of those stem from the fact that there are not enough monsters/attacks. Seriously, there are like less than 15 and most of the time you just get the same 6 things from expeditions: missile strike, Rodan, kamacuras, Anguirus, air base, and maser tanks. There is no motivation to play this game and log on daily if there is no collecting aspect. I’ve had the game for a day and a half and I’ve done everything and am bored. The battles are really fun gameplay, but most of the time people have the exact same deck as you. Unless you buy one of the really expensive expeditions (with real money or gems) everyone is the same in a fight. Fights are too similar and all expeditions have the same results. If there was any variety at all this game would be incredibly fun. The concept is good but….I love the idea behind this game and as a fan of Godzilla it’s fun. I only have to problems with this game. One being that it takes too long for expeditions to be done. It greatly decreases the time you want to spend on this game. Once you fill out all of your expedition slots you just don’t play the game unless you want to climb up the ranks. The problem with that is what’s the point of your units are under-leveled. So my first recommendation is to reduce the time it takes for expeditions to be done by half and to increase the expedition slots. The second problem I have with this game is the really bad loading times and constant disconnect in matches. I’d be playing a match and my opponent would leave mid game and I’d get a “waiting for connection” screen until I close the game out. This game is great, but this would be a good addition.So, I've started playing this game for about a week now, its honestly a really good game! But wouldn’t it be nice if there was less one - sided matches? Because right now, im in the champion rank and most of the time, I stand no chance against my opponent at all. I play a match, and all of a sudden, im up against somebody with 4 stars that are all lvl 4. I lose in less than half of the time limit, i play another match, same thing happens. So i think it would be better if the match would still only pick you a opponent with the same rank, but it would also pick what would pick a fair match for the player. Leveling up monstersThe game is great and all but there is a issues with it for starters say you got a rare Godzilla from new show on Netflix how are we supposed to level him up if we can’t even pull out the rare monster for him to level up if it’s just a rare event monster that doesn’t show up again how are we supposed to level him up I just think the way of leveling up the monsters just doesn’t seem to work that well since you need multiple copy’s of the same monsters to level them up sure does common monsters it works fine but for rare monsters I just think there should be a better way of leveling them up other then just the same rare cards as that monster because once that’s over you can’t really level him up so maybe try and find a way to resolve that issue because a lot of people will say the same thing over time.KitocattherVersion: 1.1.4

Great GameI have had this game for about 13 months and have tons of 4⭐️ monsters like Godzilla Earth, Kiryu, Godzilla (2021), Godzilla Terrestris, Mechagodzilla (2021), Godzilla (2001), and Godzilla (1954), ect. Although 4 ⭐️ monsters are hard to get I have an idea for new monsters to get such as Bagan (Godziban), MUTO Prime (Godzilla: Aftershock), Gorosaurus (King Kong Escapes), Zilla (Godzilla Final Wars), Godzilla (GODZILLA (1998), Godzilla Filius (Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters), Dagon (Godzilla: Aftershock), Godzilla (Chibi Godzilla Raids Again), and for the first time ever in this game an all new monster: Sikaizilla which is a winged Godzilla-like creature reminiscent of the removed hollow earth painting from Godzilla vs. Kong that showed a Godzilla-like creature with wings battling Godzillas and Kongs. Other than what I have already said this game is great and my favorite monsters including Godzilla Earth, Godzilla Ultima, Giant Octopus, Mechagodzilla (2021), Destoroyah, Biollante, SpaceGodzilla, and Mecha-King Ghidorah are all in the game so it is a great game!.Awesome taleheadVersion: 214(2.11.0)

Good chess gameThis one of the only Godzilla games and it’s actually good. It Godzilla chess where you try to checkmate the king. Some good strategy on determining who is your king. The early debate is Godzilla or mechgodzilla for king. I’m firmly in the mechgodzilla court. Tons of decent strategy whether brute force to zerging. I’m pretty good at zerging. Game would get a five out of five in it current build. But overall I would give it a four. Many of Godzilla most classic monsters are still missing like destroya second, burning godzilla, mechgodzilla 74 ect. I like the leveling up and unlocking more monsters, but I would add more monsters you could unlock at anytime. Although they would be rare. Some examples would be burning godzilla, titanosaurus, showa godzilla, 2000 godzilla, final war godzilla orga ect. Side bar, I would love to see that terrible 90’s American godzilla. Needs a balance in my personal opinion.They recently add the 2019 monster verse mothera and I personally think it to over powered and needs a nerf it can slow down and decrease you unites attack speed as many unites can but they don’t do a lot of damage if really and at all yet mothera does a lot of damage and evan in the movie she’s depicted as a majestic character but she wasn’t that strong with her ranged attacks and she can do sow much damage so quickly personally it’s needs a nerf and the masked riders ability as a leader is also over powered it can freeze all units and I don’t mind that but it can freeze you leader witch makes it impossible to defend your self and I think they should make it where it doesn’t freeze your leader and personally I would be happier but if you disagree I’m sure you have your reasons and over all the game is good I would recommend it if you like Godzilla and over head fighting games..Millennium DilVersion: 188 (2.9.0)

My Favorite Game and a idea. (Please Consider Idea, or not.)There will be a Solo mode on Godzilla battle line that will release sometime this month, and here is my idea. The Solo mode will act as event mode just no crystals and no buying stuff with event coins and no limit to how many you can per day. There will be a total of 80 rounds, every 5 rounds it gets slightly harder and harder. When you reach the final round you will be on the Anime 2018 Battle ground. (You might see where this is going.) and there will be black holes which Void ghidorah heads come out of. (Fanmade sprite.) Thus the battle begins. Void ghidorah will not summon units but can slow down units,do a stun that lasts for 1 seconds, use gravity beams, and when they get close bite. The moves bite will do around 75 damage, and the gravity beams which he only uses occasionally will do 150 damage,the energy bar will move 1.5x faster the entire fight. But before you can even damage him you have to kill a Gigan Showa to even damage Void Ghidorah, like Metphies from Planet Eater. All 3 of void ghidorah’s heads will attack btw meaning it’d go up to 225 for bite and 450 for gravity beams. There will be a half second delay before another head blasts or bites tho. After you beat him you get A title "Final Boss" and A void unit that will slow down units and use bites. Not the Best But eh..KnandleviathanVersion: 1.4.10

Needs a lot of workMaybe this should have stayed in testing. I’m a huge Godzilla fan and I am currently in Gold+ in arena. I’m also a premium pack purchaser. The following needs to be address: 1- Connection Issues and “losing” when your connection is lost. 2- cheating cheating cheating! 3- The spam meta is still a thing post balance patch. What’s the point of 3-4 star units when you can just spam the cheaper units and overrun your opponent? Brain dead strategy gets old. 4- Needs more variety! Everyone literally has the same deck as you so it’s the same match over and over and over. 5- Expeditions needs a rethinking, it could be something cool but instead it’s just you waiting for some cheap units. 6- Need a way to add friends so we can use the friend battle system. Fond Memories and and Well ImplementedI have to say the developers did a great job with this game. I love the different versions of the kaiju and that you can access information about them and when this version appeared on screen. The animation and the abilities are done in a way that is true to the monster and the evolved units adds a great touch of strategy. Can’t wait to see new units. One thing I would love to see better implemented is the way to display the posters. I like collecting all the posters but I only can display 2 at a time. If they can add a museum or movie lobby with all your posters and provide more information about the posters like they do with the kaiju then that would really round out the experience for those of us that really enjoy the history of this great franchise. If you value your sanity do NOT get this gameAt first this game was fun but now it’s frustrating. Lemme start with this. The only way to actually upgrade your cards is through a paywall, the game seems to disconnect a LOT even when I’m in an area with good service, there’s absolutely NO character balancing, and ofc it’s fun when your winning until you encounter a player who spends legit money on the game just to upgrade their cards. Not to mention every new season that comes out it resets your rank and u can’t earn the rewards u got from your previous rank which at this point there’s no reason in even participating in the season if it just resets your rank every time. Not to mention the game is getting toxic too. The little stickers that u use is pretty much being used just to be toxic. Overall if anybody reads this I highly suggest u don’t download this. Cheaters a plentyI really like this game. The character models are fulfilling and the game is super addictive. But in just a few days I have come across a few blatant cheaters who are able to release all of their defenses all at once and immediately win. For all those who carelessly cheat I can’t help but wonder how many people cheat with reserve so it’s not obvious. The team should probably figure out a way to restrict this and ban people for doing so. It defeats the entire purpose of the game. This issue has been addressed although I still come across cheaters from time to time where some release premium units way faster than possible, sometimes doing it in a controlled manner as to not raise suspicion. I request that the team add a “cheater” sticker/message so players can call out cheaters. Fun Game but Pay to WinThis is a fun game if you are a Godzilla fan. It is similar to Clash Royal. Unfortunately, like many mobile games, it is heavily pay-to-win. You can at least see who the pay-to-win players are as their names will be in gold/yellow. I wish there were more players to make matching easier. There are far too many unbalanced matches were one player really has no chance because their units are not high enough level. Some units are very overpowered when you get them leveled up high enough and if you are free to play it is mostly just luck in getting those units leveled up. A high level Gidorah for example will just wipe out most units, and Mothra is similar. This only makes the pay-to-win aspect more unbalancing. CheatersI’ve finally ran into my first cheater. So it wasn’t saying I had a connection issue or anything like that whatsoever, no lag, nothing. I try to put down my creatures and they weren’t loading as the opponents was putting his monsters down like no tomorrow, then strange thing was, all of a sudden i was magically placing helicopter units when I didn’t even have the helicopter card in my battle team. My helicopter is such a low level at the moment that I don’t even bother using them. I don’t remember then opponents name, I should’ve screenshotted but I wasn’t thinking that at the moment, but please give us an option to report cheaters because your inquiry said you don’t bother looking at cheater reports..SmaugthedestyrVersion: 1.4.4

I love it but needs work.Let me just start and say that this is a fantastic game. I love Godzilla and strategy games so this is definitely my favorite game right now. However there are many flaws that I think need to be addressed to bring a better experience. 1. Connection issues: at least a third of my games are won from people disconnecting/lagging. I only have a few losses myself to loss of connection but not enough that it’s unplayable 2. Balancing the meta: it’s pretty simple to rank up right now, spam cheap units and explosives and you’ll pretty much win every time. I get that the game is still new but it makes the strategy pretty boring. 3. Menu interfaces: the load times for the menus are way too long. Games only last about 5 minutes but it takes nearly double that just to get into one from the main menu 4. Matching players: there are very rare occasions that I am matched with someone that is an equal match. Out of 10 games I’d say it’s 1 equal, 2 higher leveled/ranked, 7 very low levels starting out that don’t really have any units to compete. All in all I do enjoy it but I have the unsettling feeling that I’m going to quickly get tired of it because of the issues. 3/5 stars considering all issues. 8/10 would recommend playing.SpeedFreakXVersion: 1.1.2

Opinion on another monster in the futureI really love this game. Such a great experience to play Godzilla battle line. Thank you creators for making this a reality. I have notice every few weeks another monster emerges into the battle line. I’ve also notice that they have like ultra men and evangelion. I feel like the next chapter after Hedorah Raids Again. The next one should be “Destruction in Manhattan” where the monsters are Rodan(2004) and Zilla(1998) and the last monster Clover from Cloverfeild movie from J.J Abrams. I feel like this would be a great chapter and will keep the variety of the monsters going, ones outside of the Godzilla verse. Hope you guys see this and hopefully bring it into the game. This game is hella unbalancedI downloaded this game maybe 2 days ago and I’ve reached champion rank, I’m completely at a disadvantage against someone who’s been playing for much longer and has the same Kaijus I do but upgraded and stronger, or even event kaijus that I can’t get. Also the meta right now kiryu is busted, it’s not even fun to play against someone using kiryu as their leader, the moment the game extends past the couple of first minutes they can use absolute zero and leave your leader with a scrap of health left. That move isn’t fair, it deals more than 90% of your leaders full health, that not fun at all, once you reach and go past gold almost everyone you see is using kiryu as their leader. If nothing else, please fix the damage kiryu’s absolute zero does to leaders because as I said it isn’t fair and isn’t fun at all..Sir MilkManVersion: 1.4.7

A Must For Godzilla Fans.If you ever wanted to organize your own team of Godzilla monsters to fight against another player’s team of monsters, this is your game. Most recently, I’ve enjoyed pitting the monsters from my library against another’s with the studio feature. Adding in Ultraman was also pretty cool. I frequent this game quite a bit. I’m looking forward to the next update to see which new monster’s going to come next. Highly recommended. Update: About time we got Gamera! I never thought he’d make it into this game along with his arch nemesis Gyaos. It was a very pleasant surprise. Kamen Rider’s also very cool. Still a good game, just….So I’ve been playing this game for a while and have been really enjoying it but after reaching rank 63 I noticed some problems. Bugs and glitches are still here just not as common as before in earlier season, but once you get to higher ranks it starts feeling more pay to win. You have no chance against people with high level units and yes I understand the grind but the loop is you can win against high level teams, then you can’t get coins to use to level up units at least not at a decent pace. This makes it hard to keep up with the spenders. Not to mention hackers are still prevalent which makes the grind harder. The best mobile Godzilla game out there.It has all your favorite variants of the King himself along with most of his allies and foes. A new battle piece is adding every month and the game play can be glitchy at times and like any game you are gonna have to deal with cheating and the cheating in this one is so obv it’s painful but the programmers want names and screenshots of cheating so there’s at least effort to rid it when you play an actual player who’s in it for the challenge the game is completely strategic and fun but if you don’t have somewhat equal strength pieces of your opponents then you’re toast so figure out who you wanna go with on your squad and throw all your resources at them.BatmanguyjimVersion: 232 (2.13.0)

Awesome Godzilla GameI downloaded this game after playing and deleting the disappointing Godzilla Defense Force game. This is an amazing game! Now, I haven’t been playing long but I enjoy that you actually get to play as all your favorite kaiju in this game. The tactical format of the game is really fun and still has the kaiju city-destroying goodness of Godzilla. I can’t believe that they just let you get a 4* monster right after completing the tutorial. I would’ve paid money for Destoroyah but got him for free! I couldn’t be happier! Decent game but….This game freezes up a lot and it spins constantly on the screen. It’s not my phone, it has crashed several times during gameplay and causes you to lose any progress and wins. Fairly good game but would like to see a campaign instead of just battling. FYI, reporting issues to the developers doesn’t stop anything nor will they reply. They just want your money. Many times I’ve had my monsters frozen on the field or there but they stop moving and the other player gets to attack and win. Good idea few issuesLove that it is a Godzilla themed game. On my first month of the game and I am having fun. Seems the match making can be off sometimes were one of us runs through the other like nothing. I’ve had my units not not move or hit a few times. Great game but needs a little workThe game is solid but the gotcha pulls are killing me. If you want to try and pull for the new Godzilla terrestrial or something (the one from the mew anime) you need 2000 gems which are so hard to get in the game. I’ve been playing since day one and only managed to get 2000 today. I bought those 5 dollar and 15 dollar new Godzilla packs once but it did not give me much. And the coins, even tho they give you some, it’s not enough to get your kaiju’s up to speed with the rest of the people playing. Way better then GODZILLA DFThis is actually a great game in which instead of defeating Godzilla and his allies, YOU ARE GODZILLA. This beats Defense Force by a lot. I love how you can rank up and level up your kaiju, it’s like a Pokémon game with GODZILLA sprites instead. However, the only problem I have with this game is that there aren’t many monsters from the movies. Only the Heisei trilogy monsters (and some from the Showa trilogy) appear. I rather suggest adding more monsters like different types of Godzilla (Final Wars, 2000, 1975 along with 1962, and 1954) Still though, this game is way better in its own way in concept compared to DF. Fun game but balancing is ridiculousI’ve been playing the game for a full season and now I'm currently in the middle of the shin ultra man season. The balancing is ridiculous when it comes to new pieces. Noronga isn’t too bad, but shin ultraman is absolutely over powered and it’s making the game not fun to play anymore. I throw my best units at him and they’re obliterated so quickly and barely do damage to him. Not to mention I’ve dropped about 2 league ranks in the past two or three days due to this issue of constantly running into him (I was champion 39 and am currently champion 36). Please fix the balancing issue with new pieces or just don’t add super over powered pieces to the game. Bad update.I’m a little disappointed, so far the game has extremely high potential and is quite fun but since introducing the GvK update the game had some changes I really don’t understand or like. At this point now they have for some reason put a limit on how many times I can claim my battle rewards which makes no sense why should I have to wait 10+ hours to claim my rewards on something that has a 30 day timer to even earn them. Also if your gonna charge people for the premium pass they should be guaranteed to claim there rewards if they earn them. Along with that a handful of pieces cost more to place now even when they perform no differently. The “chat” and matchingI honestly never thought I would give a bad review for a godzilla game. But this one… could be a lot better. There doesn’t seem to be a matching function that really works, it often pits me against opponents I have no hope of defeating. And it shouldn’t put you against the same person more than once in a row. I would sometimes get a good win streak of maybe 5, sometimes 10, then have it ruined by a losing streak of around the same number. It should put you against opponents based off of player rank, season rank (I think that’s what it’s called, could be wrong), and battle pieces. Either it’s extremely lopsided in my favor, or the enemies favor. I do sometimes get fair fights though, but not many. And now the little “chatting” things. I can understand wanting to compliment other people on their performance during battle, but honestly, it’s usually used for toxicity, from what I’ve seen. The only reason I’m keeping this game is because I have a decent number of 4-star battle pieces. Not as good as it could be..The game itself is great. Has a lot of good aspects to it. However since the last major Godzilla game on a console was almost a decade ago, this doesn’t leave you many options outside of this. Matchmaking in the game is absolute garbage. Or on the other hand it does the same except with people who are way lower level than you to where it’s not even a fair match. Ranked and Fair should be swappedI have been rank 50 the last 2 seasons. It’s not even skill based…. All they have to do is deploy their neatly indestructible Kiryu twice to wipe you out in the first 45 seconds of the match. It’s ridiculous. A pay to win annoying gameThere are a few things I’d like to start off with like this is a pay to win game, like I can’t get very far without paying during mid game so that’s what thing like you have to just had started or have to be in the “king of the monsters” zone to do well. Number 2 is that during mid game its almost impossible to move forward , because I can’t move higher in the rank, can’t get more 4 stars , g-tokens, and g-stones. Fine, but VERY Pay-To-WinOpen your wallet and you can max out every unit in the game as soon as you play for the first time. It’s cool seeing all the old favorite characters, but because you can just pay to get a more leveled-up (healthier, faster, stronger, etc.) character than your opponents there’s no reason to actually play the game. You’ll always be at a disadvantage if you don’t spend money. Always. Play to have fun but do NOT expect to get to the higher tiers of the arena. You’ll know when you’re about to lose as a free to play player because the opposing player will have an embellished golden name, letting you know that they’ve spent at least $5.99 on the game to get better units than you.
