Quick and easy capable video editorI was looking for a quick way to cut down multiple videos and after rephrasing my google search multiple times I thankfully found this app. I payed a dollar for the week of full access and was immediately surprised by it’s intuitive design. It is hard to find apps that fit my workflow but I always know a good one when I see one. I was able to quickly get my video out without any problems and the learning curve was almost nonexistent. Then I saw a bunch of bad reviews under this app and I felt like I would share my experience. I think it it is a great app and I would recommend it to anybody who’s just looking for a quick and easy editor. I do not do any complicated stuff so I’m not gonna claim it’s the greatest editor in the world, I have no idea, but for me it is the best thing I could find..Sylvester ChongVersion: 1.8.0

Video AppI’m still learning how to use this video, but I love it. I can fit a lot of pictures and videos. I find that the watch Apple take long videos in without having to cut it. I downloaded this app to create a video for my sister, who passed away so that I can show it at her funeral. Any trouble I had was that I really couldn’t find someone somber music. Also, I could not figure out how to. After I installed so I had to restart a new project. And the other thing was the volume so that I can hear the video that I inserted.."kitten"Version: 1.15.2

Easy to use… inconvenient glitches.While the interface is pretty straight forward and simple to use, there’s seems to be a few glitches holding it back from its full potential. I made a video compilation of old commercials. When I clicked the preview button to make sure everything was all good before I saved the video, everything was in fact okay. But, then when I actually had the video downloaded and in my photos app I played back the video only to find all of the volume was missing for the second half of the video. I even tried restarting my phone and the app multiple times. I even redid the whole video from scratch and it was still having the same issue. Still figuring it outThis is my first time using a video editing app. Overall, it’s been pretty simple to make a short video or slideshow. There’s a few things that I cannot figure out how to do. I tried to upload 19 three second video clips at once. For some reason some of them would not load so I ended up adding one at time and saving the video 18 times to get them all in. I can’t figure out how to get the sound to fade at the end of the video. the song abruptly at the end. Lowering the volume at the end seems to lower it for the whole track. also some of the transitions between photos have the same photo for a split second after the transition. Text sizeYour app is super and easy in use plus it's understandable even for first user. But there is one issue which make video editing a little problematical, particularly, we don't know how to change a size of text. We are able to change only Style and Font, BUT NOT SIZE OF TEXT. Hopeful, but ultimately disappointedI’m not super techie or a pro content creator, but I can handle myself on iMovie and some other apps. I thought this would be a breeze. Great Video MakerI was making a slideshow for my father in law’s 70th birthday and found the Video Up! App. I was nervous to use this app because I’ve always done slideshows on a laptop. I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of this app. It has everything that the program I purchased has. You can overlay, transition, animate and use your own music. Not intuitiveEither does not allow you to adjust video to start anywhere other than the beginning of a music clip or, if it does allow it, doesn’t indicate how to do so. I finally figured out how to sync my video with the pottion of the music that I wanted but it was extremely frustrating and required multiple steps to cut out the middle of a 49 second music clip to sync it with a 23 second bideo. Fun, easy to use, & better than Adobe Premiere!As a professional photographer, I edit my images in Lightroom and Photoshop. But I sometimes end up needing to also edit video clips. I have found Adobe Premiere to be clunky and not at all user-friendly no matter how many tutorials I watch. This app has been a game-changer for my videos! Won’t save videoApp can be a bit glitchy especially after editing for 30 + minutes but after I finish a video I always seem to have trouble saving a video, sometimes it takes 4 plus times to download the video again and again before it actually saves to my library. Pro con list:I’d honestly give this app a 2.5 if I could. It’s not awful but it’s not the best. But I decided to give it a 2 bc I was willing to pay for a subscription, paid the weekly fee, and then decided to cancel my subscription and delete it. Pro: editing text is super nice. I love the font options and how the app displays where insta/tik toks captions lay so you don’t put text in an inconvenient spot. Con: if you’re pinching to size your text bigger or smaller, there’s not an automatic horizontal placement. So if I’m trying to make my text bigger & I accidentally tilt it, it’s soooo hard to get it back to straight. Pro: the automatic save feature. Con: the app glitches a LOT. like so many bugs they gotta fix. It’ll load forever until I force quit the app. But thankfully they got that automatic save. Pro: it made my insta reels less blurry. Annoying issuesBe aware this app consistently cannot see photos/videos from certain albums on your iPhone. Ex “Shared Albums”. Additionally, it doesnt see photos/videos at times for no reasons, even if I quit the app and re-open. It wont let me import because they dont appear. It’s extremely annoying. I also do t know why it doesnt work with Apple music even though they seem to have an importer. I have random music that it will import and then when it requests me to download a song it says isnt downloaded it still doesnt recognize that the song is downloaded and available. It WAS AMAZING, until it was not…I downloaded the app because of a Google advertisement giving it the #1 link at the top. I was super impressed of how easy it was to use and all the edits you could do with it and even made a 30 sec test video to see how it exported. All was fine and dandy until I tried to make a second video.. for some reason when I would add my videos clips, it would choose a random clip to duplicate and replace all my other video clips. Meaning I had duplicates of the same clip throughout the entire video. I tried deleting that particular clip but then it just chose a different clip to duplicate. Missing videos, misleading purchase priceFirst of all, the app offered me a 7 day trial for $.99. When I purchased the app, I was immediately charged $9.99 and enrolled in the $9.99 per week package. Whatever, that’s fine… as long as it works, that was completely misleading and right away I have a bad taste in my mouth. Then I got into the app and uploaded all of my clips, all from the same album in my camera roll. A lot of the videos just didn’t show up in the editor at all. I thought maybe I made a mistake. So I tried to upload all the clips again… three times. Every single time, same results. I uploaded a lot of clips and maybe half were missing. Too hard to navigate music selectionI love that there’s thousands of music tracks available, but it is impossible to navigate through them. I recently accidentally unfavorited my favorite track and can’t find it anymore now. Then I lost all my other favorites because the app kept freezing a few days later and I had to re-download it. You also have to store all videos on your cell phone if there’s any chance of you redoing part of the video in the future (which is the case for me), and you can’t store that many videos on a phone without paying for storage space. BEWARE! Misleading SCAM! They drain your acct!I signed up for a .99 7-day trial. I then cancelled at the end of the trial period. Misleading price and still charging after cancelingI tried this back in April for 2.99 a week. I couldn’t figure out how to use it so I canceled. Actual Tutorials?I can’t rate this App yet. After purchasing the monthly subscription, I uploaded a video to Mask Out background however… I cannot figure out how to Mask background to have specific items or persons in videos to stand alone for overlay purposes onto other videos. Can’t find my finished and saved videosThis app is easy to use. However, I keep clearing memory space in my phone for videos I edited and now want to save to my device. I downloaded the same video three times, made sure it was at 100%, and it is nowhere to be found on my device. Tricking People to PayOn the 6th or 7th panel of the preview on the App Store claims you can use the Chroma Key tool to remove backgrounds. Sounds really exciting until you realize that the app feature is absolutely fake. An app designed for the phone includes a feature that when clicked pops up with text that says that feature is not supported by the app version. It seems like some other features are okay but honestly you could probably find other apps that can accomplish the same things and that are not straight up lying to you to press the subscribe button. Cannot select which part of a song to useSo disappointed! First of all it is advertised as “free” which it is not. I wanted to try it & like it so I chose .99 for a 7 day trial. I chose the Sugarplum Fairy but did not want the intro, but a few bars into the song. I tried it twice. Second time I went to the place in the song I wanted and saved but it still started at the beginning which did not match my video as well. Worst Editing App EverThis app is awful, it’s incredibly laggy, kept removing different filters and effects from my video, wouldn’t let me add more media even though I only had like 8 images maximum, was laggy with loading times and overall awful. and to wrap it all up it put some stupid HUGE watermark over my video, that was not shown before export. I spent 2 hours making that video (30+ minutes simply on fixing app glitches) and I debating remaking the whole thing just because of that stupid watermark. SubscriptionThe app will constantly have a pop up that says “$1.35/week (one year subscription). I subscribed thinking I would get charged $1.35 each week for a year, instead my card got charged $75 right away. Unremarkable UI, videos load super slowWithin an insane amount of amazing video editing apps I would expect a lot more from one that has a monthly subscription. This might be OK for a free app but for a paid app this is just not up to my standard. UI is nothing special There’s no automated cut option that a lot of apps offer today. There’s no AI integration of any kind. there’s just a handful of templates that are very much manual to make no idea what they’re asking for when the competition offers so so much more. The biggest beef that I have for this app is that when I tried to make a video and picked the videos I literally just shot model on my phone. I know they didn’t get offloaded to iCloud. The app was complaining that they’re in iCloud and need to be downloaded and was taking a really long time to “download” each video.
