Like it so far - one glaring flawI like the app so far but it’s clear it’s new (ie some of the notes in the schedule aren’t filled out or it has swaddle prompts for bath time). AmazingI followed the Moms on Call schedule for my first baby and currently following it with my 8 week old. This book is amazing. My first baby stopped taking a bottle at night by 7 weeks and started sleeping from 8-6:30 by 11 weeks. My second baby stopped taking a bottle at night at 6 weeks and has been sleeping through the night from 7:30-5:30 since 7 weeks. I started ping ponging the pacifier more when they started getting that longer 9p-2a stretch, and it took no time for them to learn how to soothe themselves. I’ve hardly had to go in his room at night in the last week. I was determined to get my sleep back. The schedule made them run like clockwork. My siblings and I all utilize this strategy which is an added bonus of having our kiddos on similar routines and helps us to provide support to one another when we can. Foolproof baby schedules at your fingertipsI’ve been a huge fan of Moms on Call schedules since the birth of my first when I quickly learned this is THE way to get your baby sleeping through the night. Then, I literally had their books open on my counter for months at a time like it was a Bible (ha!) coffee stains and all…and now after my third child, I’m grateful to have it all on my phone. Great concept and lots of upsides but buggyI love MOC and the schedules. The app notifications are a HUGE upside! However, there is some room for improvement. I added an additional child’s profile and then deleted it as the child’s age exceeds the program’s age range. I’m still getting notifications for the now-deleted child. When I go to preview the next schedule, to which I’d like to transition, upon clicking on an activity, I get a description for the wrong activity. I’m hopeful the activity info will load correctly when I officially move to that schedule. Lastly, I clicked on App Support to provide feedback/troubleshoot these issues only to get sent to a webpage with testimonials and products for sale. I want my money backThis app is horribly developed and needs some serious work. We love Moms on Call, but this app just isn’t it. Trust me now— save your money and just buy the book and find another app to track your diapers and feedings. The feeding timer often glitches out on its own and you aren’t able to track your feed. And worst of all for me is that you can’t really set your own pace. I have a preemie who needed to go at a slightly slower pace (which we determined through the help of Moms on Call), but this app doesn’t give you an easy way to go at your own pace. It will only let you move forward to a new schedule when you are prompted to, so even when you try to “see next schedule” it won’t show you the one after the one you are on, but rather the one after the one it thinks you should be on. So since I couldn’t move ahead to the next schedule until two weeks after I needed to when the app finally prompted me to, I was accidentally looking at the 8-16 week schedule for my preemie (whose adjusted age was 1-2 weeks), instead of being able to see the 4-8 week schedule. Lacking a lot of features and seems half baked esp for a paid appThe app is a lackluster companion to the books and lacks many features/ease of use of similars apps like Nara Baby or Huckleberry. Worst glitchy app ever - don’t buyI really liked the concept and I was willing to pay overpriced schedule on monthly subscription ($3.99 per month!? - it should be at the most just one time payment less than $5) The app stopped working on the first day - I cannot go back and see the schedule and from there nothing works. Lots of room for improvementI started using this app because everyone I spoke with before I had my baby LOVED MOC. Swore by it. And I assumed the app would be an awesome supplement to the book. Constant glitchI can appreciate the concept but it’s just not useful. It’s stressful. I inputted my children’s info. When I went to track feeding and sleep it won’t let you edit to input correct end times. I clicked on the scheduler and it just keeps “thinking” and nothing comes up no matter how long I waited. And I was unable to click on anything else once I clicked on the scheduler. It was just stuck there. I even deleted the app and reinstalled and the same issue persisted.
