Fast and easy to book

I don’t find apps to be easy enough for me to successfully use and I get frustrated all too often because my brain can’t navigate within the app so I honestly don’t keep trying and upsetting myself, i usually just call. I have to admit I love Quest because of their app! Not only is it simple and fast to book appointments or change or cancel them, they also have appointments available for the next day which is a giant help for me because I need to get specific and special lab work done while I’m experiencing another sudden physical inflammation flare. In addition to having next day appointment and ease of use with their app they also provide the user with the test results and almost always those results are available to the patient much earlier than when the doctor would contact us with the results. As if that weren’t enough they also show all past results and in multiple formats so if you have bloodwork that’s repeated like the complete comprehensive metabolic panel it shows you in graph form all your results so if you go up or down or were in the red but now your in the normal zone, you will see that timeline. It’s all right there, available to you 24/7! If you’ve read all this then I’m sure you’ll enjoy this app!

Have seen a lot of improvements overall

*Updated to say things run much more smoothly. Using the app was actually quite smooth, and enjoyable. Thank you for your dedication to your patients in this regard! If the tooling for insurance plan lookup was a bit easier to manage on mobile this would be a perfect app. Thank you again! —previous review— I frequently use the MyQuest app and prefer my local Quest over any other lab draw place. I’ve seen this app go from being clunky to reliably responsive now, and there is less lag on loading results or flipping between screens (home, to MyQuest, etc). I especially love that the attached results in MyQuest now have reference links. The one caveat now is that those links do not give you the option to open them in the default, or chosen browser, on the device. Additionally, and this is more feedback for the way results are entered into the database, but any tests done at Quest for a provider that faxes, or sends via portal should be shown in the user’s results page. I think it seems assumed that the person may have access via a MyChart or other patient portal access account but it is nice, for consistency, to see all results from any provider in that page. Thanks for continuing to improve the app!

Too long a wait

The app itself seems to work okay and is a decent way to store results. However, I did not obtain my lab results before my physical exam. I just had a standard blood and urine test. I do not understand why they cannot load those results within a day or two after obtaining them. I like having those prior to my exam so I can have an intelligent discussion with my doctor about them, rather then being told the results at the end of my exam and not being able to do any research. So I ended up making a trip a day before and having them print out the results for me. Which sort of renders this app about 90 percent useless for my purposes. I can easily scan and save my results to my computer. Hopefully they can speed up loading test results at the same time they are available to the doctor. After all, its our results, and we are entitled to them. Update: I found out states have different rules about releasing data. My state allows it with the providers approval, which I have. I have been receiving data on a more timely basis recently, and I increased my rating as a result. My provider has another app they use which gives me lab results as soon as they are released. I now use that app as well. If the results are good I can relax during my exam, and not worry about the lab results while undergoing the examination. If something is abnormal, then I can research it before my exam and discuss treatment options with my doctor at that time in a more informed manner. Hopefully all states will enact similar laws which I believe benefit both the patient and doctor.

MyQuest app

The app is terrific. I enjoy using it. Just a couple things which could help others… 1. When the available schedule times page displays only the beginning of the day are shown and they are usually already booked. I used to take so much time looking for a site that has available times. Until today! I was greeted with the usual screen full of booked draw slots in three locations. At the last location I happened to catch my eye on the “More times to review” link. When I opened it I felt like it was Easter Sunday and I just located the Bunny’s secret stash of time slot eggs. I wondered to myself how many others follow this same trap. I know one other person that has…my wife. So many times we have wondered how the heck could all 20ish QD sites in the buffalo area always be completely booked! What a relief! I would many times complain to my wife that the shortage of time slots should cause Quest to open more sites. Oh well! 2. A few times When I have scheduled an appointment I the “schedule now “ button has scrolled to the next page of my phone. So the date/time never gets secured. That’s it. Have a great day

It only takes one person to make the experience uncomfortable

I have always have no problem at my every 12 weeks appointment but in this case it was a late doctor appointment and I needed to get my blood drawn but it took this one rude nurse to make my experience unhappy and a bit angry when she told me after a few hours being here as a walk in. This time it was different I know I was a walk in but I needed to have my hemoglobin checked because if it was even lower I would have to go to the hospital and get a couple of pints of blood. I wanted all day that they were open to find out because of them being behind they where behind schedule Finally at 20 minutes to 3 one of the other nurses explained to me that they need that extra 20 minutes to finish paperwork to get blood samples out. That I understood but the nurse that was so rude and kept saying that they are not taking any walk ins. So she could have explained this and what they had to do then I wouldn’t have spent about 6 hours there. But I didn’t have to spend my entire day there without eating and just sips of water. I don’t know her name but she has red hair and freckles and fair skin, so I would like to know her name. They have been always good with no complaints and that is why this is my favorite quest in Ellenton florida

Convenient and useful

I only gave 4 star because the app doesn’t save my insurance information nor my sponsor’s information. Perhaps a security thing, but when you check my military I.d. It would confirm I am who I say I am. It is convenient because I can see my lab results and formulate relevant questions for my doctors. I like that I get my labs not just my doctors… so I’m not waiting to find out… I already know and can make my own suggestions. It is pretty user friendly. If there was anything I say needs improving, it would be a guide for those who have never used the app before to know what information goes where… as a healthcare professional some people need more assistance that others. It may seem self explanatory but when you go to the app you are not automatically logged in, and people set up appointments only to realize they were never logged in. But reassurance that it isn’t lost, they just need to log in is comforting. I help patients to navigate the app when they ask, but maybe there’s a way to incorporate a reminder to sign in before scheduling. Otherwise I like the app, been using it for several years, and I have various doctors so, it again is convenient and easy to access lab results once they are ready!

Quest Website Review

I like the fact that I can make appointments online. I often need to make several appointments (sometimes daily or weekly). I can’t find an easy way to push one button and see a list of all the appointments I have lined up. Or push one button from the home page to make appointments. I expand the ‘Appointments’ section and expect to see a list there or an option to create one there. I normally go to a location page, select the lab I go to and then get a button to schedule an appointment. One comment about the ‘appointment only’ policy. For those of us that have blood drawn frequently but not on a set schedule, the Dr sees the results after a blood draw, changes meds according to the results and then wants a blood draw in 2 days or a week but it is not ‘Stat’ and we can’t get an appointment on that short of a notice. How should we (the patient) handle that? In addition to the comments previously input (above), there is a step that is easy to miss when scheduling an appt. The user fills in all the info and gets a ‘Review’ screen. It’s easy to think you’re done and exit the app. User must scroll down to click ‘schedule appointment’. On the other hand, frequent fliers only make that mistake once or twice.

Better than Mayo Clinic portal!

QUEST has does an excellent job reporting lab results, with useful information about the meaning of the values. I just noticed a somewhat hidden feature: tap on any value and you’ll get a graph of all your history at Quest — this helps you to detect a trend, if your lab tests have been done by Quest. A trend are much more meaningful than a simple “H” or “L” (high or low). Doctors usually scan your most recent lab report, only looking for an H or L — few doctors will also study your last three or four lab reports — they will miss a trend. The AMA, the CDC, the NIH — everyone is now recognizing that YOU are better off when *participating* in your healthcare. So help your doctor, by looking to see if any of your lab values show a trend (for better or for worse) instead of waiting until a value is outside the reference range. Btw, I’m director of a nonprofit medical research institute — and am writing this review to congratulate Quest and to help you help yourself by looking for trends.

Appt Scheduling program error.

Basically the scheduling of the appointment is very easy. However, I chose to enter my insurance down at the bottom after I had chosen my appt. time. I entered my insurance information immediately and clicked to schedule appointment then it said my 7:00 AM appointment was already taken. So I had to start over schedule another time. So, I had to put all my insurance information in again but this time for some reason it showed a 7 AM appointment open so I clicked on it before I put my insurance information in and it gave me the appointment. So it’s just a flaw in the “programming” I guess because I’ve ran into just before who is other. It’s just frustrating having to enter all the information twice when they could put the information window at the top before we set our appointment and if we chose to bring our insurance card in later then it would go straight to the appointment-making window! I know it saves time for sitting in the waiting room but it also saves the front desk time from having to input all the information especially when there’s already a line growing longer.

She me problems

Easy to use, except- 1) general category of ‘my physician sent me for labs’ is hard to get to and not labeled well 2) ‘Date Wheel’ for entering birthdate is a roadblock. It starts with todays date (and nobody going for lab work outside the hospital is born today). Maybe putting in a date 18 years ago makes more sense . 3) A disaster caused by starting by with todays date actually stops people in their tracks, with no error or helpful message of any kind’. As I write this, the date is July 16, 2024 and that is the date that shows up in the birth date field. My birthday is in November, 1957 and the App asks me to first enter the month of My birth. I cannot do that because the App won’t allow entry of ‘November’ (when it is July) because that would Temporarily make the Birth Date field read November, 2024, whic is in the future. So the app does not allow me to have a birth date in November because it asks for the month first. You have to tab I’ve and change the year to a prior year first and then you can change the month. Aargh. Thank you

Great Service, but now no walkins

I don't know if it's because of their own financial hardship, or if they are just jumping on the layoff bandwagon like the tech sector, but now in an office considerably larger than most other medical offices I see they literally only have ONE employee there for the entire day -- they unlock in the morning and lock it at night. So, you have to schedule now at least 2 days in advance, online in their app, or you can't be seen. And if the schedules they show are to be believed, they schedule that one phlebotomist continually a new patient every ten minutes! I know phlebotomists are paid "well" around $35/hour, but that was ten years ago and I don't think they have a union. They should be paid considerably more than explosive gas canister drivers in my opinion, and those guys clear considerably over 100K/yr. Just my opinion, phlebotomists shouldn't be so invisible and treated like low skilled robot workers.

Poor reception of care

On May 14, 2024 myself and my girlfriend went to the lab to get some blood drawn. We did not have an appointment so we had to sit and wait. There were five people in front of us and we still waited almost an hour and a half. the text was taken the time pulling people in to draw their blood called in the tech that took care of my girlfriend told her which I felt it was intimidating that she will not draw her blood unless she pays the balance which was $72 or something like that? Once again the tec From Quest were very laid-back and didn’t call people as she should’ve the traffic going in wasn’t as much as the traffic coming out. so was no understanding why it takes so long to call the patient in to get the blood drawn. I think somebody needs to do a evaluation of that particular clinic and going as a mystery person trying to get the blood drawn so they can see for themselves.

Happy Customer

I have been having different work done at the Lakewood Quest location for 20+ years. There has been a lot of changes over the years and most recently the addition of the sign in kiosk. I wasn’t sure how that was going to work because I’m old-school and I like having a nice face greeting me when I come into a business and I had always received, this special greeting when I went into the Quest office. However, the kiosk is very efficient and I do believe it speeds things up. The phlebotomists are still great and I have nothing but good to say about the this quest Office. Thank you and have a nice day. I love getting my results before my doctor calls me so I can ask him any questions about my numbers. Everything is working great. The app is great and the appointment experience is great and the staff is great. 10 out of 10 on all counts..

Very Useful!

I had some blood taken at Quest about 3 weeks ago. It took a while for the nurse to get all the paperwork coordinated (the results were to go to three different doctors), but during this time I was able to download this app and sign up to MyQuest. I received the blood results in just 3 days! The app also presented them in a convenient graphical form showing each number on a scale indicating the normal range. I still haven’t heard from any of the doctors, but the results were good so I’m not losing sleep… Although this review is for the app, I would also like to put in a plug for the Pasadena, CA (E Green St) Quest staff, which has been very friendly and competent and has gone out of their way to help me on several visits. Update: The app was also useful for scheduling, except that it didn’t remember my insurance info from previous times as and I had to re-enter it.

Tons of Pros no Cons

First of all , this app is above par of other app about quick results , is easy to have results in hands and share it with your primary doctor or another specialist if you need it! . See your results and ranges are priceless. second point that really bother me is how exist people that qualify with 1 star this app because suppose it should works without internet connexion! oh please !! it is ridiculous .. the app is fantastic and is so rare nobody have internet connexion, hey girl go to whichever place and /or upgrade your phone plan ! we are in 2016 ! . about other bad review about delays for getting test results .. hey honey, logic is free! call your quest and check what happened , also upgrade the info in your profile before because it can be one of the reasons you can not see it ! . I consider this app has tons of Pros and no Cons!! ..

Quest App

Quest has a very good app for scheduling appointments and all the other functions needed for testing such as forwarding results, sharing results for other caregivers, billing look ups, upcoming appointments, etc. I would like to see them make a few improvements: 1. They have a few places such as when looking up future appoints you have scheduled, if there are no appointments, you get a dead end page that says there are no appointments. It would be better to put a link on that page to schedule an appointment. 2. For some reason I cannot enter my insurance. I’m on Medicare and there are no choices that I can find that it will take. Not a huge problem because they can take care of it when you arrive. Our local Quest locations all seem to be well run, efficient, and have competent staff on board.

Super convenient!

The app makes managing my entire family’s quest accounts simple. I can quickly flip through each person “chart”. Compare results. Print them if needed. Schedule appointments with ease. You can also pay any balance due. There is even more things you can do on the app that I haven’t utilized yet…like I believe there is an option to connect directly with your doctor’s/provider regarding your results. There is also the option to ordered your very own lab work that you might need out of pocket without the need of getting a script elsewhere first. Although I have not utilized that option, I have poked around to see what it’s all about and what is offered. Certainly appeared impressive and easy enough to do quickly and easy enough via the app.

JBloch Review

Improvements to on line app: 1. Need option for Doctor ordered tests when making an appointment, then the app should retrieve the tests based on that and show you what has been received. 2. Need to be able to verify Quest has received doctor ordered tests. I spent 1.5 hrs trying to get the doctor’s office to fax it over because Quest didnt have it, and I had no way of knowing ahead of time. This wasted your time and mine. I could’ve contacted the office prior to getting there to get this accomplished. 3. If I have set up an account, why do I have to continually put in my insurance info? Why is this not part of my profile? 4. Fix your telephone call tree. Tried to call on my second appointment to verify doctors test order had been received. #6 and #9 both route to address or directions, no live answer anywhere for doctors or patients at the new Herndon/Armstrong location in Clovis. The value of the app is not just for Quest and the doctors, it’s for the Patients too. Love that I can review results, get an on line appointment, and how efficient your Phlebotomists are. Next step is to make the changes above that make the your app a more personal experience for the Patients. Please do not come back with any HIPPA excuses as anyone using the app has already waived this.

Makes appt scheduling easier

Once you set up one appt at your preferred/regular location, the app remembers and you simply click in and select your date. The available times come up. You choose your time, click through the options on the next screen and finish up. You receive an email (and text if you selected that too!) confirming your appt. I find it more expedient than the website though Quest has made improvements overall in usability. What I WOULD like to see changed is a better interface for finding out the cost for unusual tests such as Apo(b), LP(a), and Omega-3 Index. When I’ve looked I found info about it but it’s shrouded in location availability and other background info that could be listed in a more user-friendly fashion. Cost isn’t listed though. Or, maybe it is and I’m not looking in the right spot.

Appt Time Problem

I chose my appointment time. Then I selected that I would provide my insurance information. Which you guys should already have. And then when I went to continue, the appointment time I have selected was gone. You should at least let people have an opportunity to complete the insurance information and hold the appointment time for a few minutes to allow that to happen. My insurance has not changed in years. Your system should be smart enough to confirm that so I wouldn’t even be prompted to enter it. So now, even though I have an appointment which is later than what I wanted, I’m going to go early and sit there and see if they can get me in. This whole thing was not necessary. Please make the experience more user-friendly.

App update much better

The update to this app is so much better than it was. They now have almost all insurance companies listed and bugs seem to be fixed. More user friendly. My only complaint and reason I didn’t give 4 stars is that you can’t change your name. Some docs have my full name listed and some have my nickname. I also changed my last name when I married my husband 3 years ago. Instead, you have to call them (no one ever answers; I’ve tried several times) so you can’t save your info since your actual name is different from the one on the app. I’ve tried setting up a different account and nope it doesn’t work. It would be great if they allowed you to change on the app. Then you can show proof at your appointment if necessary - well you show proof it’s you anyways when you check in.

MyQuest For Patients Negative Reviews and Ratings

No temporary hold - VERY frustrating

When making an appointment, your selected time is not “held” for a period of time, so once you get through the whole process of entering all your info, the time slot might no longer be available. What’s worse is that the info you entered is not temporarily stored. So the initial frustration you feel from your selected time slot being pulled out from underneath you is then replaced with a terrible combination of anger and mild panic at having to re-enter all the same info in a frantic dash before you lose your next selected time slot, lest this infuriating cycle repeat yet another time. This is a simple issue and a solved problem in businesses like ticket vendors where selections are limited and customers need time to enter their info before losing their selection. My second issue is that the times displayed before expanding to see all times are often not actually available times. But you can’t tell that visually so you click on them with a sense of futility and stupidity. You can only tell that they are unavailable once you expand and see that available times are BOLD (or not grayed out). Why are you taunting me and showing me all the times I CAN’T have? Just show me what’s actually available! The rest of the signup experience is pretty smooth, but these two issues have been a problem with this app as long as long as I can remember. And they are not difficult problems to solve.

Review35320&4Version: 3.23
Pathetic, worthless, embarrassing

It is hard to trust a science organization that has an app this embarrassing. They identify patients by birthdate, but it won’t allow me to enter any birth month except January through April, or any day after the fourth of the month. (today is April 4 - only people who have had their birthday already this year are able to enter their correct birthdate.) Then it makes me type in all my contact information, which is all stored in my phone to auto fill but it doesn’t support that. (plus, it finally let me sign in on the 10th attempt and my account has all that information in it, but I still have to type it in.) Then, no matter what time I picked for my appointment, it reports that that time is no longer available, and I have to start over and re-enter all of that information manually again. The menu shows all of the times I tried are still available, until I type everything in and hits submit, then it’s unavailable again. I had a long career in IT. Anyone in my organization would have been fired, if a public facing app or process they were responsible for, had failed this embarrassingly for this long. I’ve been trying all day. All I need is a routine medical test. Pity anyone who needs a drug test, today, for a new job. Often in those situations putting it off until tomorrow won’t do. How many people nationwide will lose the opportunity for a new job today, because these pathetic losers can’t maintain a very simple, mature app?

A frustrating and inconvenient experience with the Quest Diagnostics

My experience with the Quest Diagnostics app has been nothing short of terrible. What should be a convenient tool for managing my health has turned into a source of constant frustration and inconvenience. The app's functionality is unreliable at best. I've encountered numerous error messages, had my test history disappear, and found that pending results fail to show up, even when I know they've been completed. The app's user interface is clunky and seems to be poorly designed. Simple tasks, like creating an account or paying a bill, are far more difficult than they should be, often leading to dead ends or error screens. The most egregious issue, however, is the complete lack of accessible customer service. When I ran into problems with the app, I found no easy way to get in touch with a real person for help. There's no in-app support, and the phone numbers provided lead to a labyrinth of automated menus that offer no real solutions. The feeling of being completely abandoned when you're trying to manage your health is both infuriating and unacceptable. Overall, the Quest Diagnostics app is a major disappointment. Its technical issues and non-existent customer support make it a hindrance rather than a help. Because of these persistent problems, I will no longer be using Quest Diagnostics for my lab work and will be seeking services from a company that values its patients' time and provides a functional, reliable user experience.

Not user friendly!

I somehow have two accounts. A few years ago I tried to straighten this out and was not successful. I was told I only had one. Fast forward to last weekend, I had made an appointment to get lab work done. Thankfully I had wrote down the conformation number! When I logged into the app it stated I had no appointments! Was able to get my lab work completed. Have been attempting to get this issue straightened out. At the locations (labs) no one can help with this issue nor knows who to contact other than give out a toll free number which his not manned during their normal business hours, only limited hours and no support on weekends! I was finally able to get in touch with a human and she had to go through her supervisor as they have access to more info. As she was helping me, I was disconnected! No calls back! It wasn’t easy to get to her in the first place! Had to call back again and try to navigate through the phone system to get a human (which take about 17 minutes on the automated system). Finally got a hold of someone who told me I needed “my quest help line” I was thrown into another difficult phone navigation, to find out the hours for assistance are eastern time zone! It was 2:38 California time! Quest needs to step up and offer better customer support and technical support! They also. We’d to have technical support available to the west coast for west coast hours! It’s sad, Quest Isn’t what it use to be! Customer service is severely lacking! I’m always amazed how as they majority of the lab technicians are very friendly.

Recent update screwed this app up

I loved this app for many years. So easy to use and having labs available on my phone proved very useful at doctors appointments. One of my favorite tools built into the app are the graphs! So you can pull up your most recent lab (for example Cholesterol) and then she the entire history of your past labs on a graph. However, one of the more recent updates screwed this all up and makes the app almost unusable now. NOW When pulling up lab results, they are no longer in order of timeline of visits (dates of service). Since the update, they are not sorted at all (not that I can see), so you have to scroll through ALL results looking for the particular date of service. The results are all over the place, 2021, then a date in 2019, followed by a date in 2023. It’s all mixed up. Multiple times I’ve been in a doctors office and tried to pull up these now un-sorted labs and it took far to long to locate them because I have so many to look through. I’ve used Quest exclusively for years mainly because of their app, but if this problem isn’t fixed soon, I’ll be switching to a different lab that offers an app or online login and access to lab results that can be sorted properly to promote ease of use. PLEASE fix this problem so I don’t have to move!

Trouble with scheduling

It took me about 20 minutes to schedule an appointment with this My Quest app. I picked an open appointment which was two hours from now. It required me fill out my name, address, phone number, and email even though the app should know all this stuff. Well, besides that, after filling out all the information I click the final confirm button. it tells me the scheduled time is no longer available. So I go back pick another open time, fill out all my name address phone number email again and it tells me again that the new time slot is no longer available. So I pick another day and location and go through the same problem, no longer avail. So I completely closed the app went back to the original location, I picked a time from tomorrow and it magically it worked. Why the app can’t remember my name, address, phone number, and email is beyond me, and why can’t it remember all that information when I pick a different time because that appointment it’s no longer available. And why can’t it give me 5 minutes to fill out the form and hold that appointment time for me instead of allowing others to steal it out from under me - is not friendly. Btw, in the past I’ve had no problem with this app. End of rant and have a nice day.

Cumbersome and not intuitive

Not sure why it is so difficult to set up an appointment using the app. You have to click on a specific location and then try to schedule an appointment. There should be a schedule an appointment icon at the bottom or clearly on the home page and then you can pick the date/place/time using any preference. Maybe I want a specific place but don’t care about the time or maybe I want a specific time but don’t care about the location. Now I have to pick a place first and then pick a time. What if I want to go to a different location that has a better time? It’s just cumbersome that I have to go back-and-forth between different locations and look for specific times. Also, why does it ask for my name, number, email, etc. again when I set up an appointment. It already knows who I am via logging into the app. It already has that information so why asked for it again and make me retype it all over again. It should just have a simple check box. Are there any changes ? Most people won’t have any click the box and keep going. It’s such a waste of time to have to re-enter information all over again. Who makes these apps are obviously not the ones using them. Such a waste of time and frustrating.

Very disappointed

My experience yesterday started at the LSD where I had my blood drawn. The lab tech was very rude and unaware of aseptic procedures. I informed her I had to insurance and had one card on me. She tells me she can’t draw my blood since I don’t have both card. She made me go get the other card. I asked her why can’t she just use the one I had which was my BCBS card. She tells me “ Because I know you have 2 and I’m not going to draw your blood without both on file.” After getting the other card. She prepping but she is throwing and slamming things down. She wipes my arm with alcohol and then wipes it off with a piece of gauze. I asked her to reclaim the area and not to wipe it off. She snatches off her gloves and attempts to throws everything in the trash and shapes but misses! She didn’t bother to pick anything up and her face is super red at this point. She going to stick me again and she tells me to make a fist. Mine you I have a huge vein! I told her no, that’s how you get an infiltration. She looks at me and told her rites and says “ That’s how we do it here.” I told her I’m a phlebotomist of almost 8 years and of those years I was a trainer for 3 1/2. I told her these things should not be altered for safety of your patients. She took the tube of blood she had just gotten from me and placed it up in my face and says “ is this you.” I looked at her and said yes. She then tells me have a nice said, very dry. Soon as I started to walk out she walked to the lady to the right of where we were and started talking about me. I have been to this location one out twice. I have never been treated this badly. Then to make matters worse it took over 11 hours to get my results!!

Some issues

App has some areas where it works as you would expect; although, there are some issues. Some buttons in the app open the browser and ask you to login again, but a prompt at the top wants you to open the app. That constant circle is infuriating. When creating an appointment it will give you an option of appointment times at the various locations, but once you get through filling out all of the form details, it will often tell you the appointment times is no longer available. In order to edit it, you have to go back several pages to select a new time. Although it was still showing the original time as available. I selected a new time anyway to get through the process. Unfortunately, it made me fill out aspects of the form again for my insurance information. In addition, the drop-down, pick lists were difficult to make selections. You often had to select the incorrect option first (dependent), in order to then select the correct option (spouse). The whole process needs to be tweaked and improved to run more smoothly.

DO NOT USE IF YOU NEED FAST RESULTS!!! Unable to get results

The app itself works fine but quest diagnostics is broken. I bought my test and went in (the people there were great, don’t get me wrong) and I provide my sample. 24 hours later I got an email saying my results were ready to view but I had to verify my identity first. The app asked me a series of questions they got from a database to prove that it was actually me before they could actually give me my results. I thought the questions were odd because they were questions about where my estranged relatives lived and where I went to college. Anyways I somehow didn’t answer these questions right and I got locked out for 72 hours!!! I tried contacting customer services with messages and calls but I never got a response. I have now waited the 72 hours and I tried the questions again and proved I am who I really am but my results have yet to show up. I am extremely frustrated! I paid out of pocket for this test and my results have been ready for days!! This company and website is broken!!! I highly recommend going somewhere else if you need fast results!!!! They need to fix this and make it easier for people to get their results.

Pretty good

You can schedule appointments, find locations, and get test results. Very handy when traveling. However it makes you enter your health insurance information every time. This takes time if you have secondary or tertiary insurance. It also won’t save your preferred Quest location. It will always go to the nearest to you. Great if you are traveling or your location is the one nearest to you, not if your choice is located elsewhere. If you sign in it will keep your information when it backs-out to make appointments, but will lose the location you had chosen after you signed in. Needs a lot of work. Update: Some of the locations have scanners for your insurance cards, some don’t. My experience is the scanned information isn’t made available to the person needing to check your insurance, so they have to enter it. There are no scanners in that person’s drawing room, so it’s manual. It would be nice to be able to scan your insurance cards on your phone when the app asks for your insurance information. They need to invest more money towards IT.

Could be better

The app does everything it claims to do. I get notified when my lab results are available. If I can't find the results and submit the issue through the app, the results are usually available in a day or two. What is frustrating about the app is that the app requires separate steps to sign in. This is an app on my phone and it opens without signing me into MyQuest. So if i make an appointment without going through the steps to sign in I have to enter all of my information during the appointment scheduling process. The app does not remember my information, nor for it allow auto-filling. It as nearly 10 minutes to the appointment scheduling process. More of I have to look something up like my insurance group number. I understand why some features don't require a sign in, but again this is an app on my personal cell phone. Just sign me in. At a minimum ask me to sign in for processes that are simpler with a sign in. I think it asks me to sign in of I check results. Do the same for appointment scheduling.

Terrible app and service

Recently tried to get some long overdue testing done and went to several locations as a walk-in, as it is impossible to find an appointment (even if you’re willing to drive). I fully understand that one must wait, as the appointment people have priority. Just this morning in the Santa Paula location I sat and watched as they called appointments in early and never referred to the standby list. (I was the only one on it at the time) The appointment people cycled through fast, but when they called someone who wasn’t present (happened twice while I was there) the delay was long enough to have made 2 blood draws, but nobody else was called until the next scheduled appointment. I waited more than an hour just to be told I could be waiting hours until they could draw my blood. What happened to trying to get the walk-in customers serviced? Seems as though this location prevents that by dragging their feet in between. I only say this because My fiancé and I just recently went to the Lombard location as walk-ins and they took care of everything in about 30 minutes, and their waiting room was full.

Do not use Quest unless you absolutely have to.

This is not one specific event. It is all of it. There are unique labs/tests only available here and until processing leading all the way up to check in improves, I would suggest only coming here if you need to do it. The staff is not the problem, it is their unforgiving and un user friendly interface all the way up to actually checking in. You can be there more than 14 minutes before closing and be denied service even if you already paid for your lab order. Again the problem is not the staff, it is exactly everything else. Quest is transparent about how long to expect the results of the test and you can expect to have to wait to get the results as well. In general the American Corporate Health Care system is rather dystopian compared to other countries by international standards. If you have access to international travel, that might be something to consider since you are already paying out of pocket for the lab tests anyway. For those who are using insurance I’m not sure if this review is helpful or applicable to your specific situation. Have a pleasant evening.

Apparently I do not know who I am?

I had to do the three step security. Step one and step two were no problem….then I got to the “questions”. Apparently I do not know my height, nor what university I attended. I was asked what color a car I have NEVER ever owned was (I’ve never even heard of a Subaru Baja). I was given a list of names and asked to click on those I was associated with: the only one I recognized was the father of some children I babysat when I was THIRTEEN (I am 48, btw). Quest thinks I knew someone else from the list, apparently, because I got that question wrong as well(idk maybe the dad of one of my friends from kindergarten back in 1981?? Silly me for not remembering). Eventually I was blocked from the app for 72 hours. So, as a reasonable person, I tried to call customer service to speak to another reasonable person. I sat on hold for almost 2 hours (being told the wait time was 30-40 minutes the ENTIRE time), until suddenly, the message changed..and now the office was closed. WOW! Great job guys! By the way, this is the first ONE STAR review I have ever given in my 48 years of life. Congrats on being first????!!!

Terrible customer service. Positive reviews must have been paid for

They’re a joke, right? Bought and paid for is all I can presume. There’s no way this many people have a positive experience with this company. The app, itself, is not the worst, but Quest Diagnostics has provided nothing but headaches for us. My child’s Covid 19 test results were not provided to us at all. Status fluctuated between “Physician Notification” and “Results Available”. No one would respond to requests tor information. After several attempts to contact an actual customer service representative who could help, I managed to obtain the lab results. Guess what? Two days later, the app still lists the results as “Physician Notification.” This is, at the very least, completely irresponsible of them. Get the labs posted to the app or don’t claim the app/website are the best ways to get the results. I’ll certainly be making sure I know what labs are going to be processing any of our medical samples moving forward. If it’s Quest, we know we can’t presume results will be available unless we scramble for them. Terrible

Many Flaws

Amazingly bad, and amazingly and bad for a long time given that it is a huge and important company. Many flaws such as app doesn’t prompt the user to sign into their account until late in the appointment making process. After one picks an appointment, the app then asks you to start typing in your demographic information as if you were new to the app and quest. Even after you then find a way to sign in, it does not carryover one’s medical insurance information from the last visit such that all of one’s insurance info has to be re-entered for each appointment. Populating the medical insured DOB is extremely problematic as there is no ability to type it in and there are not drop down features for the year of birth, etc. Instead it will show the current date and then when one tries to change it, there is a calendar displaying the current month of the current year and then one has to reverse scroll through every month in history back to the calendar month in the year of one’s birth in order to then select on their birthdate.

Good and bad

I’ve used this app before and it’s usually fairly simple as far as scheduling appointments. However they don’t keep your insurance information so request you provide prior to your appointment to speed things up. That’s where it fails miserably. I’ve entered the information but it won’t save it. The accepted provider list in app is not the same as website. Then you have to determine who exactly is your provider as I found 3 that are listed that are similar. But it really doesn’t matter because the information you enter will just bring you back to the same spot to do over again. No error message or confirmation. I was unable to login to my account from the website. It appears their primary objective is selling you different tests. It’s one of the least streamlined, intuitive or helpful app in this regard. Labcorp app was a breeze compared to this rabbit hole. I attempted to call the lab to verify my insurance prior to arrival but every prompt led to a recording. Gotta love Corporate America or not

Convenient but inconsistent

I’m very glad to have this quest app at my disposal. It makes it easy to locate appointments near me with specific dates and times, I can upload my insurance information quickly and easily, I can check in all through my phone without having to use any of the touchscreen kiosks inside the facility, and my results are available fairly quickly for my review My biggest complaint is that this app does not work 100% of the time all the time. There are times when I login and it can’t find any locations near me. There are other times when I go to set up an appointment and it asks me what the reason for my visit is, but there is no list of reasons. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for this inconsistency. It’s just luck of the draw . And while I have no issues 60% of the time, that other 40% where I have issues is really inconvenient. Fix the bugs so that this app works all the time!

App was better before last update

Before the last update the app was simple and easy to use. I usually got my results the next day and should my doctor not receive my results (which happened often) I could fax or email him the results right from the app. NOT ANY MORE. While this app is more attractive, that, and the ability to make appointments directly from the app are the only two things I like about it. Now it takes 2 or more days to get lab results posted, I can no longer fax my results to my doctor should he not receive them, and while there is a print option I have yet to get any of my results to print. I just get a white screen if I try to print the simple results and get bounced back to the results page for the color and/or advanced options. Why would I want an app taking up space on my devices when I can just log in to the website? I can’t send a fax, but at least it will let me print my results so I can fax them to my doctor.

MFA WAY TOO SLOW

This app feels like it was designed by management and bureaucrats than by users. Navigation is klutzy and the recent addition of email MFA is warranted but their servers are very very slow to generate almost all feedback messages, including confirmation codes for most purposes. Why would the default Home Screen not have a log in method? Instead, I have to go to the account screen. Password updates don’t work smoothly with iOS, it just took 20 minutes to get the right combination of keystrokes to change a password, then I sat waiting for way too much time to get confirmations. MFA needs a text confirmation method, right now it’s only email and again- ALL email feedback needs to be sent immediately, rather than apparent on systemwide timed intervals. Also amazes me how poorly the app interacts with kiosks in the service locations. The promise would be to walk in to a location, click an “I’m here” button on my own device and have all the work done. Instead, even after entering my info into the app, I continue to have to stand in line at your locations and reenter and rescan personal information THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE in front of the general public. This app has pieces that work but suggests a tired old management team who focuses on plugging in individual programming requests for and never really looks at the big picture. Hopefully the core business health services of providing blood screening is not handled as poorly. But a klutzy customer interface does tend to make one wonder how accurate my latest blood test results really were.

It’s ok. Only to keep track of my bloodwork.

I really think you should be able to schedule an appointment from the tab that says “Appointments” after you sign in. Plus every time they change the app it’s not just little things. It used to be so much easier to do stuff that you wanted. Now you have to go through a few more steps which can be frustrating. Edit: This app is still frustrating. You can’t stay logged in. To sign in my fat uncoordinated fingers have to miss the huge bright green “Make an account “ button to push the super small hard to read “sign in”. This is not designed by someone who navigates the medical field often. It would be nice if it was a better interface. The schedule an appointment feature is still a joke. And no matter how many times I enter my insurance it is never saved and I get my bloodwork done every couple weeks. I just realized it says that my insurance should autogenerate in the field! Nope made the appointment and it just says no insurance. I enter it and this app erases it.

Completely Unreliable System and Unprofessional Staff

I normally try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but MyQuest has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Between the app, the website, and the staff, not one part of this system works properly — and it’s honestly shocking this company operates the way it does. The MyQuest app constantly resets information, changes saved details, or fails to recognize anything entered previously. Every login feels like starting over from scratch. The website is just as broken — slow, outdated, and filled with glitches that make even the simplest tasks frustrating and time-consuming. Even their emails are confusing and inconsistent, only adding to the mess. And then there’s the staff. The lack of professionalism, patience, and courtesy is unbelievable. Every interaction I had felt rushed, dismissive, and rude. They’re quick to assume you know what to do, yet provide zero clear guidance or assistance. Asking a simple question feels like an inconvenience to them. There’s clearly no sense of customer service, empathy, or basic respect in how patients are treated. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any company, let alone a medical service provider. The systems are broken, the people are unhelpful, and the entire process feels like chaos from top to bottom. I will never return for any services, and I strongly do not recommend MyQuest to anyone looking for reliability, efficiency, or professionalism.

Horrible!

I have been a Quest customer for many years and loved the Quest portal and loved how it was so easy to get your lab results as they became available but now they’ve changed the portal and it’s horrible!!! You can’t see your results as they become available anymore. Now you have to wait until all the labs have resulted before you can see them!!!! The new portal is not user friendly and is a complete mess! You can’t see the tests that are in progress with the date it was drawn so I wasn’t sure if my blood was lost somewhere or what was going on! They went from great to horrible!!! WTH do you change it if it’s not broken? It was great just like it was!!!! Also, there are labs from 2023 and 2024 that are popping up saying they are in progress!!!! These labs don’t even show up in chronological order either so it’s confusing and just a complete disorganized MESS!!!! I don’t know who the genius was that decided to make this stupid change but it’s extremely frustrating!!!! I think I may switch to Labcorp.

Clumsy

Why would you not just advise that to "Continue" after entering my personal info I MUST enter the insurance provider at the time of booking? You make it sound optional and when I selected to provide insurance at the appointment, your system does not present a " continue" button, making the only viable option to return to the previous page. After going to the previous page and not seeing any information missing I go to next page and am required to re-enter all my personal information and then select " provide insurance information now" to prompt your system to present a " continued" button. That's is not the only issue with your booking site. There are numerous un-user friendly features. You should actually pay someone to first try the system to evaluate its ease before presenting these cumbersome "features" before asking your customer what they think of your less than thought through booking site. Lame.....

Just the worst

Use some other company and save a tremendous headache and a lot of frustration. Continually asks you to login. Maybe 15 times just to look at test results once. Says the password is wrong so create a new one. When I create a new one it says that password was already used. Forced me to create a new account maybe 7 times. I am so over it. I went to the location and was told I did not have an account. I created one with the help of the employee there. Got home. Still had not created an account. Created ANOTHER account. Always using the same email. Tried to look at my results and told the confirmation number was not valid. It’s the number I copied and pasted from my email they sent me. Then I was told to login again. Then told I didn’t have an account and create a new one. Spent this money on this test and who knows what or where the results are. Spent all day with this app. Seriously started at 10 am and it is now 5:30 pm. Just threw my money and my sample down a black hole I guess.

Clunky

Frequent updates to app, that’s nice. What’s less than nice is telling me you have trouble signing me in, please try again later — when the real issue is my app is not updated. Message us unhelpful, untruthful, a general waste of my time, and worst — keeps me from doing critical activities. Made much worse because now there is no phone support of any kind, not any in person support at the lab. We’re on our own with an app that fails and misleads us as to why and what to do about it. Try checking the app version BEFORE authenticating, and throw a CORRECT message saying to update the app. Would be nice to provide a link for that, many other apps do. But I’d settle for knowing what the problem actually is. After that, you might fix it to let me enter my insurance information. But wait, when I go in, it’s already in the system. Perhaps you might check that BEFORE presenting the screen to enter it, and display that info. And also, the billing part. Won’t present details of the bill. Won’t let me make a payment. Buttons to do these things are ineffective. Requesting support got me an email answer A MONTH AFTER after requesting details, with another copy of the summary I could see online. Funny thing, if the bill isn’t paid promptly enough (app won’t take payment) then Quest sends a bill via postal mail. Which I received PRIOR TO support’s request, and which contains the DETAILS that I was asking for from support. Are we sensing a pattern here? App has failures, some preventable with some tweaking, some features don’t work at all and give no message. As my title says, clunky.

Fill out the form...appt time has vanished

So I do it again-and again. Since Quest has devoured laboratory services until they are only one of two available vendors, they have eliminated 100% of telephone help-you're just a human being after all, counter staffing on-site, and their turn-around time is...leisurely, at best. Walk-ins are virtually impossible, eliminating the cost of maintaining adequate staffing, so plan ahead. Quest has become, for me, the nightmare outcome of profit-over-patient, the living example of demonstrating that the only valuable time is theirs-you are just a cog that exists as a captive audience for marketing more of their products. This is the future of American health care - most expensive and lowest quality among developed nations. Above all, Quest has captured the future of American medical care - eliminate any cost, inconvenience or competition that would impact dividends, including recognition of the humanity of its users. Hopefully, health care providers in other developed nations will continue to shun this corruption of purpose.

I got my blood drawn here and the lady who did it took like 5-6 samples of blood. I don’t know if that’s too much. It probably could have been for my body since I’m so skinny and it probably couldn’t handle it. On my way out though I started to feel dizzy and I fainted right there. After it happened I still felt horrible HOURS LATER and I actually thought I was about to die. I even went to the ED to make sure I was okay. Thank god I feel a little better now. Please don’t go to this place. My sister also had a bad experience here. They told her she had to get 12 blood samples DONE IN THE SAME DAY when she was only 5, which could have killed her. They should honestly give people water or juice just incase, instead of making people immediately walk out like nothing happened. I suggest not to go here and get your blood tests somewhere else and do your research. Plus results take forever. If you did take the time to read this, I hope you have a good day/night and to stay safe out there. <3
