MyQuest for Patients App Comments & Reviews

MyQuest for Patients Positive Reviews

Better than Mayo Clinic portal!QUEST has does an excellent job reporting lab results, with useful information about the meaning of the values. I just noticed a somewhat hidden feature: tap on any value and you’ll get a graph of all your history at Quest — this helps you to detect a trend, if your lab tests have been done by Quest. A trend are much more meaningful than a simple “H” or “L” (high or low). Doctors usually scan your most recent lab report, only looking for an H or L — few doctors will also study your last three or four lab reports — they will miss a trend. The AMA, the CDC, the NIH — everyone is now recognizing that YOU are better off when *participating* in your healthcare. So help your doctor, by looking to see if any of your lab values show a trend (for better or for worse) instead of waiting until a value is outside the reference range. Btw, I’m director of a nonprofit medical research institute — and am writing this review to congratulate Quest and to help you help yourself by looking for trends..Version: 3.7

It only takes one person to make the experience uncomfortableI have always have no problem at my every 12 weeks appointment but in this case it was a late doctor appointment and I needed to get my blood drawn but it took this one rude nurse to make my experience unhappy and a bit angry when she told me after a few hours being here as a walk in. This time it was different I know I was a walk in but I needed to have my hemoglobin checked because if it was even lower I would have to go to the hospital and get a couple of pints of blood. I wanted all day that they were open to find out because of them being behind they where behind schedule Finally at 20 minutes to 3 one of the other nurses explained to me that they need that extra 20 minutes to finish paperwork to get blood samples out. That I understood but the nurse that was so rude and kept saying that they are not taking any walk ins. So she could have explained this and what they had to do then I wouldn’t have spent about 6 hours there. But I didn’t have to spend my entire day there without eating and just sips of water. I don’t know her name but she has red hair and freckles and fair skin, so I would like to know her name. They have been always good with no complaints and that is why this is my favorite quest in Ellenton florida.Version: 3.9

Convenient and usefulI only gave 4 star because the app doesn’t save my insurance information nor my sponsor’s information. Perhaps a security thing, but when you check my military I.d. It would confirm I am who I say I am. It is convenient because I can see my lab results and formulate relevant questions for my doctors. I like that I get my labs not just my doctors… so I’m not waiting to find out… I already know and can make my own suggestions. It is pretty user friendly. If there was anything I say needs improving, it would be a guide for those who have never used the app before to know what information goes where… as a healthcare professional some people need more assistance that others. It may seem self explanatory but when you go to the app you are not automatically logged in, and people set up appointments only to realize they were never logged in. But reassurance that it isn’t lost, they just need to log in is comforting. I help patients to navigate the app when they ask, but maybe there’s a way to incorporate a reminder to sign in before scheduling. Otherwise I like the app, been using it for several years, and I have various doctors so, it again is convenient and easy to access lab results once they are ready!.Version: 3.15

Quest Website ReviewI like the fact that I can make appointments online. I often need to make several appointments (sometimes daily or weekly). I can’t find an easy way to push one button and see a list of all the appointments I have lined up. Or push one button from the home page to make appointments. I expand the ‘Appointments’ section and expect to see a list there or an option to create one there. I normally go to a location page, select the lab I go to and then get a button to schedule an appointment. One comment about the ‘appointment only’ policy. For those of us that have blood drawn frequently but not on a set schedule, the Dr sees the results after a blood draw, changes meds according to the results and then wants a blood draw in 2 days or a week but it is not ‘Stat’ and we can’t get an appointment on that short of a notice. How should we (the patient) handle that? In addition to the comments previously input (above), there is a step that is easy to miss when scheduling an appt. The user fills in all the info and gets a ‘Review’ screen. It’s easy to think you’re done and exit the app. User must scroll down to click ‘schedule appointment’. On the other hand, frequent fliers only make that mistake once or twice..Version: 3.13

Love the User-Friendly Capacity & Great Customer CareI love how tech and user-friendly Quest has become! It’s astounding. They have taken a 180 degree approach to customer service and care! Writing this makes me feel like I’m a sales representative, but I’m actually just a Quest customer for 20 years who’s witnessed the growth. I do recommend having better insurance card uploads, perhaps just the capacity to take a picture and upload rather than search a query. I have BlueCross/BlueShield PPO and have frequently had issues uploading my insurance information, resorting to the option to “provide later”. I’d like to just take a picture of my card via mobile phone and upload the image for staff to view as needed. I am also curious if quest can have a translation option when booking appointments online to support user that’d don’t have English has a primary language…something like: What languages do you speak?________. I appreciate the fast appointment approach and usually get in and out in about 5 minutes when booking online, which is wild considering the 1 to 3 hr wait in the past. Thank you!.Version: 3.15

Pretty goodYou can schedule appointments, find locations, and get test results. Very handy when traveling. However it makes you enter your health insurance information every time. This takes time if you have secondary or tertiary insurance. It also won’t save your preferred Quest location. It will always go to the nearest to you. Great if you are traveling or your location is the one nearest to you, not if your choice is located elsewhere. If you sign in it will keep your information when it backs-out to make appointments, but will lose the location you had chosen after you signed in. Needs a lot of work. Update: Some of the locations have scanners for your insurance cards, some don’t. My experience is the scanned information isn’t made available to the person needing to check your insurance, so they have to enter it. There are no scanners in that person’s drawing room, so it’s manual. It would be nice to be able to scan your insurance cards on your phone when the app asks for your insurance information. They need to invest more money towards IT..Version: 3.17

Great Service, but now no walkinsI don't know if it's because of their own financial hardship, or if they are just jumping on the layoff bandwagon like the tech sector, but now in an office considerably larger than most other medical offices I see they literally only have ONE employee there for the entire day -- they unlock in the morning and lock it at night. So, you have to schedule now at least 2 days in advance, online in their app, or you can't be seen. And if the schedules they show are to be believed, they schedule that one phlebotomist continually a new patient every ten minutes! I know phlebotomists are paid "well" around $35/hour, but that was ten years ago and I don't think they have a union. They should be paid considerably more than explosive gas canister drivers in my opinion, and those guys clear considerably over 100K/yr. Just my opinion, phlebotomists shouldn't be so invisible and treated like low skilled robot workers..Version: 3.15

Very Useful!I had some blood taken at Quest about 3 weeks ago. It took a while for the nurse to get all the paperwork coordinated (the results were to go to three different doctors), but during this time I was able to download this app and sign up to MyQuest. I received the blood results in just 3 days! The app also presented them in a convenient graphical form showing each number on a scale indicating the normal range. I still haven’t heard from any of the doctors, but the results were good so I’m not losing sleep… Although this review is for the app, I would also like to put in a plug for the Pasadena, CA (E Green St) Quest staff, which has been very friendly and competent and has gone out of their way to help me on several visits. Update: The app was also useful for scheduling, except that it didn’t remember my insurance info from previous times as and I had to re-enter it..Version: 3.9

Could be betterThe app does everything it claims to do. I get notified when my lab results are available. If I can't find the results and submit the issue through the app, the results are usually available in a day or two. What is frustrating about the app is that the app requires separate steps to sign in. This is an app on my phone and it opens without signing me into MyQuest. So if i make an appointment without going through the steps to sign in I have to enter all of my information during the appointment scheduling process. The app does not remember my information, nor for it allow auto-filling. It as nearly 10 minutes to the appointment scheduling process. More of I have to look something up like my insurance group number. I understand why some features don't require a sign in, but again this is an app on my personal cell phone. Just sign me in. At a minimum ask me to sign in for processes that are simpler with a sign in. I think it asks me to sign in of I check results. Do the same for appointment scheduling..Version: 3.12

Quest AppQuest has a very good app for scheduling appointments and all the other functions needed for testing such as forwarding results, sharing results for other caregivers, billing look ups, upcoming appointments, etc. I would like to see them make a few improvements: 1. They have a few places such as when looking up future appoints you have scheduled, if there are no appointments, you get a dead end page that says there are no appointments. It would be better to put a link on that page to schedule an appointment. 2. For some reason I cannot enter my insurance. I’m on Medicare and there are no choices that I can find that it will take. Not a huge problem because they can take care of it when you arrive. Our local Quest locations all seem to be well run, efficient, and have competent staff on board..Version: 3.17

Super convenient! The app makes managing my entire family’s quest accounts simple. I can quickly flip through each person “chart”. Compare results. Print them if needed. Schedule appointments with ease. You can also pay any balance due. There is even more things you can do on the app that I haven’t utilized yet…like I believe there is an option to connect directly with your doctor’s/provider regarding your results. There is also the option to ordered your very own lab work that you might need out of pocket without the need of getting a script elsewhere first. Although I have not utilized that option, I have poked around to see what it’s all about and what is offered. Certainly appeared impressive and easy enough to do quickly and easy enough via the app..Version: 3.10

Makes appt scheduling easierOnce you set up one appt at your preferred/regular location, the app remembers and you simply click in and select your date. The available times come up. You choose your time, click through the options on the next screen and finish up. You receive an email (and text if you selected that too!) confirming your appt. I find it more expedient than the website though Quest has made improvements overall in usability. What I WOULD like to see changed is a better interface for finding out the cost for unusual tests such as Apo(b), LP(a), and Omega-3 Index. When I’ve looked I found info about it but it’s shrouded in location availability and other background info that could be listed in a more user-friendly fashion. Cost isn’t listed though. Or, maybe it is and I’m not looking in the right spot..Version: 3.12

Walk inMe and my wife walked-in to Quest Diagnostics - Montclair last Oct 14 for a Blood test. We usually go there in a walk-in basis. We do not know that Quest Diagnostics stopped the walk-in. A representative went to the waiting area to call a patient. We asked the lady if we can have a blood test even we don’t have a schedule. She was so nice and told us that they no longer accept walk-in. We told her that we don’t know that they don’t accept walk-in patient because we always come in this place walk-in. She told us to wait for awhile and she will check her colleagues if they can accommodate us. There’s no available patient in the waiting area on that moment. After a few minutes, the lady came back and told us to come inside for the test. Representative were so nice..Version: 3.8

JBloch ReviewImprovements to on line app: 1. Need option for Doctor ordered tests when making an appointment, then the app should retrieve the tests based on that and show you what has been received. 2. Need to be able to verify Quest has received doctor ordered tests. I spent 1.5 hrs trying to get the doctor’s office to fax it over because Quest didnt have it, and I had no way of knowing ahead of time. This wasted your time and mine. I could’ve contacted the office prior to getting there to get this accomplished. 3. If I have set up an account, why do I have to continually put in my insurance info? Why is this not part of my profile? 4. Fix your telephone call tree. Tried to call on my second appointment to verify doctors test order had been received. #6 and #9 both route to address or directions, no live answer anywhere for doctors or patients at the new Herndon/Armstrong location in Clovis. The value of the app is not just for Quest and the doctors, it’s for the Patients too. Love that I can review results, get an on line appointment, and how efficient your Phlebotomists are. Next step is to make the changes above that make the your app a more personal experience for the Patients. Please do not come back with any HIPPA excuses as anyone using the app has already waived this..Version: 3.9

App update much betterThe update to this app is so much better than it was. They now have almost all insurance companies listed and bugs seem to be fixed. More user friendly. My only complaint and reason I didn’t give 4 stars is that you can’t change your name. Some docs have my full name listed and some have my nickname. I also changed my last name when I married my husband 3 years ago. Instead, you have to call them (no one ever answers; I’ve tried several times) so you can’t save your info since your actual name is different from the one on the app. I’ve tried setting up a different account and nope it doesn’t work. It would be great if they allowed you to change on the app. Then you can show proof at your appointment if necessary - well you show proof it’s you anyways when you check in..Version: 3.9

Test resultsThank you for your test report, only disappointment to express is the time it takes to receive results, this puts the Doctor behind and causes possible health issues which could have been under treatment sooner that could possibly have saved damage or suffering do to no answers of which if received sooner would allow the Doctor to assign a treatment that could reduce pain or growth of damage. It does not always end this way but it is the time where it does that is when the patient will have fear and disturbance as to WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG AND I AM NOT GETTER. Please help the patient revive the necessary care and treatment without hearing that the ANT CAUSED MY HEALTH IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT. Thank you for the opportunity that is only available for the correct system is the need to stay in touch with all the people within the group which will make for a Mutch better group and coomumication.Version: 3.12

Lab workThey’re nice people and get you in and out, so I rate them a 5 star, BUT the 3 stars I gave was to Quest and or appointment scheduling, or computer or whoever that apparently cancelled my appointment I made through the app and when I came in for my 12noon lab appointment and signed in Express sign in, it said they had no times available for walk ins but I could go to app and schedule an appointment?!?! I got to the sign in stand at 12:05pm and if it was because of that reason you cancelled me then that’s crap you!!! Now I’m scheduling again and I hope your sign in stand doesn’t do this to me again because I d gotta get these labs done this week in order to have my surgery on Jan. 19th. Not happy that I took my time off to come get labs for the surgery and this happened. SJ I’ll be sure to be extra early to stand in line for the sign in stand! I hope it doesn’t happen again!.Version: 3.15

My experience with QuestI’ve been going to Quest to have my blood work done every 3 to 6 months for about 7 years now and have always been treated very well and when I’ve made an appointment I’ve always showed up at appointment time and been in and out very quickly . It’s always been the most convenient way to provide my doctors with the blood work that they have been requiring. For all these years now. I have a few serious issues like Heart And thyroid problems so it’s been something that has required frequent attention and visits to Quest and have never had any kind of problems with blood work getting to the Doctor that has ordered it, it literally has been a very easy and convenient way to do it..Version: 3.15

Your health at your fingertipsThis app is very user-friendly, I love being able to schedule appointments from a doctors office or anywhere at anytime of day or night. Having the ability to view and carry the results around with me to share with my healthcare team is an added bonus. Simply request that your doctors share the test results, there is a fast turnaround (I waited less than 12 hours for the results to be loaded.) Other patients commented they were frustrated for not getting instant access or immediate results so keep in mind, like everything in the healthcare system there is a process but if you read the rules and follow instructions you can get the information you need in a very timely manner..Version: 3.03

ResultsIt would be great if the results were loaded automatically and you didn’t have to make a request to be able to see your results. The appointment scheduler and entry of insurance information either does not work or the collectors at the PSC offices are not trained on how to access the information. I am a Quest employee with lab services as a benefit and my doctors office was billed repeated for my labs when I provided my insurance card and employee number at the time of my appointment and blood draw. Then after my doctors office called and I called three different numbers I hope that Cheryl got everything taken care of for me. I feel sorry for patients that don’t know who or where to turn when issues arise. This is all to difficult even as an employee and even more embarrassing as a patient/employee. Things need to improve for the general public and especially for the older age group of patients..Version: 2.18

My father loves it.The quest on Downey ave is amazing. I love how easy it is to schedule an appointment for my father. This location is always fast and staff are friendly and understanding. My father comes in a gurney and or wheelchair. They are very attentive and assist my father with his lab order and always go over and beyond to assist him. I definitely hope they are always as attentive and continue to have the same care for the people that need their services. I highly recommend this location. My mother is not fluent in english, and they are always very helpful. My father translates, but when he goes it’s early and he’s not fully awake sometimes. His wait time is minimum and transportation can even wait to take him back home in one trip..Version: 3.15

What works about it works very wellBut when it doesn’t work, it’s very frustrating. I love the fact that I can get my results on my quest and see them all written out with highs and lows over time. That’s excellent. However, making an appointment and getting that little barcode and confirming it, signing in at the facility: no part of this works smoothly. If you have trouble with any of this (such as vision issues, inaccessibility or computer illiteracy) expect to be treated rudely at the facility. You will be told to bring someone capable to do this for you so they don’t have to help! Terrible customer service. Update: I bumped the rating up a star because now I just go online to make an appointment…no problems if I avoid the Quest app. Having an appointment means being taken within 5 minutes of your scheduled time. That’s very nice..Version: 3.9

Great App!!!I like to be proactive with my tests, so I really like the ability to get the results before I see my doctor to discuss them. Not only does MyQuest provide the results of the current test, but also previous tests, and trend charts that easily lets you check your progress. Love the ability to view not only an iPhone formatted version, but to display the full 'paper' format. My only gripe is that it takes about a week to get the results, but I understand this is mandated, I think, by government rules. Nanny state. The ability to get current and past results for easy comparison (doctor is usually to busy to look up past results) and discussion with my doctor is why I will always come back to Quest for my tests..Version: 3.12

Bare Bones but it works! There’s a lot it’s lacking, but the ability to see all available appointments and schedule is all I was really expecting. Bonus features like the option to view past test results, create new accounts, and link family members went well beyond my expectations. I wish they would incorporate bill pay, and keep everything in the app without having it take you to the website. I also wish I would keep me logged in and save my insurance information. It’d save me a lot of time to avoid having to re-enter it each time I have bloodwork. Also my insurance is never listed as an option and I often have to bring my card in anyway to have them check it..Version: 3.9

Better resources than my doctorYour results might not be available to review within a day or two and could take 1 to 2 weeks unless there’s something urgent. But I think that’s perfectly great because when the doctors office call with the results they just say somethings high or low you know if you feel bad call us but don’t really have the time or explain much detail. My favorite part of this app is you can tap on anything and see a history of your results overtime with QUEST and also gives you explanations about what highs and lows in different results could mean so you can make better informed decisions about reaching out to your doctor when you need it. Love this app it’s come along way.Version: 3.4

Great fast serviceI have had several experiences with Quest Labs, and each time, I have been impressed by their professionalism and dedication to patient care. Their staff is consistently courteous and knowledgeable, making the testing process as smooth as possible. They also maintain clean and well-organized facilities, which is especially important in a healthcare setting. One of the standout features of Quest Labs is their timely and accurate results delivery. In my experience, I have received test results within the expected timeframe, and the reports are clear and easy to understand. This quick turnaround time is crucial for patients and healthcare providers alike, as it allows for faster diagnosis and treatment planning..Version: 3.13

Walk-in Restricted Forever?I've been a patient at Quest for many years! I understand when I walked in one day and I was told that Quest Labs were a part of the Covid research and they would only see patients that made an appointment through their online app. At that time it took two weeks to make an appt but what about now? Will Quest continue to only take patients with online appointments and tell walk-in patients they will not be served? Considering sometimes no other people are waiting in the first place? If I had a chance to “vote” for the ability to walk in any Quest lab without an appt & to be able to have a blood draw I would not put it off as I do now! This is just my viewpoint and how apprehensive I feel to have blood drawn in the first place! Thank you for reading!.Version: 3.03

For Me, Quest is Best!Knowing that the quest technicians are so precise with their diagnostics takes a big load off my shoulders. I like the way they explain each and every test result in detail and more importantly are willing to set up an appointment to discuss any misunderstandings, concerns or questions I might. have. They are these main line to health for me .I can have my concerns addressed by Board Certified Specialty Phisicians, MD’s, Interns, RN’s PA’s, NA’s Technitions, or any Number of pharmacist’s , But ultimately the wizards at quest diagnostics are my go to guys. I have been reviewing and comparing the results of my labs performed by Quest for year's. are spelled out in layman‘s terms so I can understand them very well and;. If I do have A question nI know that Quest will be there for me..Version: 3.7

Okay App. Difficult to Update Insurance InformationI have an account with Quest. It makes it tremendously hard to update insurance information. You must have a bill in order to access the page, which is on the desktop, separate from the app. I’ve entered multiple bill numbers without success. One would think that Lab Corp/ Quest Diagnostics does not want to get paid. Insurance information, IMO, should be a part of the profile and updated as needed. Once the insurance is updated, an alert may be sent to billing services to bill the new insurance. Oh, one is unable to enter their birthdate starting with the month. App will not let you do it. Became frustrated and entered the year of birth first. It worked. The app has lots of room for improvement..Version: 3.11

Quest App Allows for Easy Appointment SchedulingThe Quest app allows for easy scheduling of doctor ordered lab tests. The app displays Quest locations nearby, with the closest listed first. It is easy to see and select an available appointment time which meets the requirements from my doctor and my schedule. Required fields for booking an appointment are easily recognized. What is missing is the app remembering me and my basic information. Having to fill in all demographic and insurance information each time an appointment is made can be time consuming. I do understand I could complete the insurance information once I arrive for the scheduled appointment. Yet, if I’ve entered it once in the app having it saved within the app would save time while making the appointment or at the clinic..Version: 3.9

Difficult to useThe MyQuest app is a great way to schedule an appointment … if you are the CFO of Quest looking to cut costs by getting rid of all the personnel who answer the phone for scheduling appointments. For those trying to make an appointment, not so much. Just one example out of many: trying to enter your date of birth the screen will show today’s date with rolling lists of Month, Day, and Year. When you try to change the month to your birth month, it will fill down to your month and as soon as you let go, it rolls right back to the current month. It did the same thing with day and year. Finally — in frustration — I made all three spin at once and when they stopped it was a date in January of 1998. After that, I was able to enter my date of birth with no problem..Version: 3.12

Reading and comparing results made easy! They have this set up like a well oiled machine. I get the results before my doctor calls me. There are one click reference buttons to explain what each test is and how each result ranges. It’s so easy to see if you are in the green or the red, and if automatically pulls up your entire Quest history of that test to compare and graph it. You can clearly see your own health patterns and can feel more educated when your doctor discusses the results with you. I’ve used this for a few years and I have a lot of lab work done. I was just thinking tonight how efficient the app is, and how the visual design make it so quick to evaluate. Thank you!!.Version: 3.7

Patricia SavageI have only visited one other lab and this office is outstanding, I have never had to wait I have always been called for my appointment within a few minutes of my scheduled time. All the technicians are always friendly and welcoming, I hate having blood drawn my veins are hard to find but the technicians at this Quest have no problem and I never have a bruise. There is only one thing I would change is the tape they use to hold the cotton ball in place is the absolutely the worse it does more damage than good. I can not believe that a company as big as Quest can not afford the colored stretchy stuff instead of that paper tape. But overall this Quest is wonu.Version: 3.14

Insurace optionsBelow was my previous review from several months ago, but the app has been updated and it is so easy to maneuver! Great job! Old news: The app is actually very nice but when it comes to filling in the insurance, to “save time“, there are not enough insurance options and it is a required field that you have to put in the name of your insurance company. You only have a very limited choice to choose from and of course our very popular insurance company is not on the list. Please make it so you can add your own insurance company. It can be changed at the appointment time without having to fill in all the other numbers. Thank you.Version: 3.14

It would be perfect with some improvementsLove having the ability to make appointments and see results but it would be even better if the App kept your insurance info saved. Having to make an appointment and enter the same info each time it’s not good. It could also be improved by displaying available time slots for appointments as opposed to all appointments. For example, I needed a morning appointment and it showed 11 times available and an 8:00 appointment. I couldn’t click on it because it was greyed out. I had to expand to see the available appointments were in white (not greyed out). I had to do this for each location that was near me in order to find an early morning time..Version: 3.13

Pretty good, but could use a couple simple improvements. The results and data explanations are great. I like being able to schedule appointments via the app but I’d like to see too big feature upgrades. First, when scheduling an appointment, I’d like to be able to see when the next available date is at my nearest location. That would be much better than scrolling day-by-day until you find a free day and time. Second, why can’t the App Store my insurance information? That is data I need to look up every time I need it. Just store it and ask if it has changed. One last thing for a blood test that falls under “other,” why not let the user specify so the phlebotomist is prepared? Thanks.Version: 3.12

Retain infoWhy can’t Quest retain insurance information. I was just at a Quest office this week for a blood draw for a different doctor. Why logging into MY QUEST ACCOUNT do I have to enter my insurance info as if this was my first time from scratch. My Medicare info has not changed as long as I have been using it. Furthermore - your system does not let you enter in Medicare as your primary as it really is. If I enter Medicare as primary (which is what it is) a screen does not come up looking for the secondary to Medicare. So to pass the secondary to you so it may be properly billed - your system doesn’t allow for putting in the Medicare as primary. Putting in Medicare as primary does not allow for adding secondary. Why wouldn’t you want ALL the correct information from the start? Very strange!.Version: 3.13
