Support is awfulI had to put a 5 star review so it would be seen but the stars overall don’t reflect my review. The app overall seems great from an outstanding view but my issue is this… I’ve applied, meet the requirements, and reached out to support about my application. I have gotten multiple useless responses from the AI support system saying a team member will be with me within the hour, I receive no response after that, I also receive no message from a team member. I get responses in email but they tell me that I couldn’t be accepted, which I already knew. I would just like to receive information on why, how do I get accepted from this point on. My college baseball teammates do trade on this app and the trading overall is easily 4 to 5 stars. The support and help is below 1, it is unbelievable. Great but never impovingKalshi hosts such a fun and legit market. It’s generally easy to use and absolutely worth a try. Unfortunately every update seems to make the app worse, mostly with awful UI choices that feel like they’re targeted at making users struggle more. Within the last month, you can fit significantly less information on your screen. Features such as the easy to understand profit that updates live such as simply saying 100->156 is now pushed onto a separate screen rather than on the live score page. This is the biggest downside recently, as it takes away a lot of confidence to place bets when you can’t see the live percentages, score, graph, and profits all on the same page anymore. In sports, the teams you’re betting on seem to be intentionally listed out of order at every chance they get. Jets @ Bears in the title and maybe on the scoreboard too, then the buttons to bet are listed as Bears first then Jets. These inconsistencies are everywhere. Some categories don’t get a lot of love. Tennis commonly has matches simply never appear. And the recent cherry on top to bad updates, is that the percentages are almost never accurate to each other on screen. The graph might show Jets 37% and Bears 63%, while the buttons show Jets 56% and Bears 56% commonly not equalling 100%..Echo3VXVersion: 9.8.98

App is really smooth. Better and cleaner than other brokersEvents trading is really sick. I’ve added them to my portfolio as a way to get more precise exposure on a number of factors that go into a stock. I wouldn’t be surprised if this trading instrument becomes massive. The company has a lot of educational material, which made it easy to onboard and trade safely. I also like that there is no leverage right now, which makes it simpler and more safe. But I hope the company introduces leverage later down the line as traders build a track record. The app flows well. It’s easy to understand and manage one’s exposure. AwesomeStarted playing around for fun when this first came out several years ago then kind of forgot about it, life got in the way. But then I came back but the platform had changed and my balance, only $400 or so, but my $400, was gone. I sent an email to customer service without a whole lot of confidence in getting a response, let alone a solution. But Noah reached out immediately and continued to reach out as the company acknowledged the problem and promised a solution. It took 10 days, but I was constantly looped and then boom, the money was there. Really a standout performance for which I am thankful and back on board having fun with it. Progressing backwardsI think this app is great in practice for placing money all sorts of things but kalshi is outright lying about bettors being sole reason going up or down. They odds change far to rapidly for that to be the case. And the numbers they put on the left side to show how much money is being placed on either side “live” is very clearly fake and meant to push you to one side or another. Not to mention that the odds almost don’t even matter anymore. If you take a position at 5% odds and it jumps to 12 you can still have a negative payout. That’s not how that works. Kalshi is suppose to function like a stock maker so if a stock goes up in that means you should be able to cash out positive fees aside. A little frustrating, but fun when it functionsI use this app frequently as I’m learning how to trade. I have had a couple of major issues with the app since I began using it a few months ago. 1. There are many times I cannot deposit money into my account. It will tell me there’s an error. I contact support, and the first few times, they responded quickly and corrected it after troubleshooting and realizing it’s on the end of the app. 2. They give you an option to cash out at the current price listed before the conclusion of the event if you choose. However, if you notice you’ve made a significant win, often you cannot cash out as “the price changes” during the process. 3. Sometimes, the win you think you’re cashing out decreases upon cash out. That’s infuriating because now you’re out of the bet completely at what you bought in at. Recently, their customer service hasn’t been very responsive. Currently, I cannot add funds to my account the way I normally do. It is not an issue on my end. It just reads “Something went wrong” and to contact them. Was great until they absolutely scammed dozens of usDuring the Japan vs Korea WBC game I and many other live bet the spread Japan -1.5 during the 7th inning. It was listed as the main spread next to the money lines and total. However after the game was over and the bet hit the label changed to “first 5 innings spread”. There was zero indication it was the first 5 innings spread, a first 5 innings wasn’t even and option for most of the game. Regardless they shouldn’t even be selling a first 5 innings spread during the 7th inning. FantasticEven though server lags occasionally with updating numbers on app, the API calls never lie! This is a trading bots paradise! I highly encourage all developers to put their trading ideas in ChatGPT and say they want a Kalshi bot! That’s what I did. Just paste the whole file with errors back in over and over and continually ask it to tell you back in plain English what it knows you want. Simple! Anyone can be a market maker now or automate their live trading strategy. I’m not even trying to sell a bot anymore because the profit earned from my bots alone is beating what sales would be. AMAZINGI absolutely love this app. Apart from it being fun and engaging, this app changes sports betting forever. The way this app works is so stupidI submitted my application almost like 4days ago and it still hasn’t been reviewed. I’ve been locked out of using the platform this entire time. Deposit feesThe app is awesome. Experience has been great thus far, however I was thrown off by the deposit fees in a recent update. I understand withdrawal fees with instant pay but I think adding deposit fees on top of this is pretty in convenient because when you put in a certain amount to make a prediction you expect to have that amount ready as payouts change with deposit amounts and time so it’s very time consuming to have to deposit twice because the fees made the initial amount Lower. There are still some bugs (ideas loading for a different market than the one you’re on) but nothing preventing using the app as previously. Overall, some very interesting markets and a fun platform. Horrible supportLet me start by saying this app regularly freezes, crashes, shows incorrect values to your positions, etc. I had been using the app for a few weeks and just powered through these temporary inconveniences. This weekend was enough to give me reason to STAY AWAY. On Saturday I checked to see the lines on the following days games. The app showed me as having 0$ in my portfolio, which I knew was far from the case having won a considerable amount just days prior. By the end of day whatever technical issue Kalshi was experiencing sorted itself out and my balance was restored. Still unsettling. The following day I went to place money on a combo for NFL football. An error message occurred when I tried to submit stating that the odds had changed, it could not be submitted, and to try again. So I tried again. Same message. I did this multiple times. I eventually gave up trying to submit what was intended to be a SINGLE placement. When I ent back to my portfolio I saw that the combo had been placed MULTIPLE times (placing an absurd amount of money on a single unlikely event). When I contacted support giving them an explanation stating that this was placed on their own error message misinforming me, I was given a very brief response that no refunds are issued. No looking into THEIR MISTAKE. No accountability for THEIR ERROR. Nah, just you beat and out of all your money. And don’t put a support reply at the end of this review saying I should contact support because I tried that several times. They steal your money on non participating athletesApp is all together decent, but when it comes to golf, if you bet on players that are not participating in the field days ahead of the tournament, they literally steal your money. They don’t void those bets that should actually not be allowed in the first place, they baldly tell you via support how they will not be refunding you any of those bets. If the players would drop out atleast the day or or after the tournament; that’s understand- but not 3 days prior to the tournament AND the fact that those bets shouldn’t be allowed in the first place. Highest robbery. I can understand losing my money on a fair bet, but not a technicality. UPDATE: Thank you for your reply, common sense says that if a player does not play prior to an event even taking place, those bets should be null and void. It’s common sense, and if you are saying it’s a rule, then that rule is simply robbery. I also looked at the market rules and I do not see anything specific to that, nothing on golf rules at all. Disappointing Experience Due to Low Liquidity and High FeesI've been using the Kalshi app for a while now, and unfortunately, it has been a pretty underwhelming experience. The biggest issue is the extremely low liquidity. It’s difficult to find markets with enough participants, and even when you do, the order books are so thin that getting in or out of a position without significant slippage is nearly impossible. This defeats the purpose of trying to trade predictions on real-world events, as the lack of activity makes the app feel almost unusable at times. On top of that, the fees are really high relative to what you can potentially earn. When you combine the low liquidity with the high costs, it becomes hard to justify any meaningful participation. Even if you manage to make some correct predictions, the fees eat into your profits so much that it hardly feels worth it. Overall, Kalshi has a promising concept, but with its current liquidity issues and costly fees, it’s not a platform I can recommend for anyone looking to actively trade event predictions. Avoid at All costs, scamI am new to betting and I want to try it out and see if I can win something. I placed a bet on Kalshi for $20 on the total rain inches. I live in Miami, and I know that for the month of February it hardly rained at all. So the choices on I betting were Above 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 inches. If I were to bet on 1 inch I wouldve gotten $323 I chose the lowest one thinking that the total rainfall in inches could not pass 1 inch. Seeing that was no other option below 1 inch I chose the lowest one to be safe. I saw a report say 1.18 and amongst other reports that said something similar. So I felt pretty good about my first bet. However, I was still waiting for the official result to be completely sure. 5 days later the official report came out and it said that it was below 0.10. So not only I lost money but no one won the bet when it was settled, meaning that all the money that was bet in does not go to anyone, and it goes to who knows where. I made a bet of $30 to win $100 on the MMA fight this past weekend. Mind you, this is the same night I decided to try out this app to compare its functionality to Robinhood’s futures markets. I completed the verification step and even received approval to make trades/bets. However, once the bet was placed and payout time had arrived, I tried logging into my account to collect and was met with, “Something went wrong, please contact support,” which, mind you, I did four days ago. They only offer support through email—there is no support line—which is very odd and suspicious. Anyway, I included the issue as well as a screenshot. I also tried resetting my password to ensure it wasn’t user error, and that did not work for signing in, even after receiving a “Password changed successfully” message. The support team had the audacity to ask if I still needed support and to simply reply. I have already waited four days and sent you my issue, and this is how you reply? Now I have to wait possibly another four days for some response. I understand it’s not a lot of money, but it’s the principle. I sincerely hope they will find a way to help me out; otherwise, I’m going to social media and TikTok with my experience, as well as filing a complaint with the CFTC. My one star rating is for this app, and the app is just absolutely horrible. It is missing probably half of the functionality that is available accessing Kalshi on a desktop browser. I had hoped they would update the app to have more things that are available on the computer, but no, in their recent updates, they’ve actually regressed and taken out some functionality that was available on the computer. Want to bet unders on NBA player props? Get on the computer. I used to be able to bet yes or no on both sides of a contest on the app, but after the most recent update? I have to get on the computer. Customer Support is Completely Negligent/Non-ExistentDuring a major football game, I was trying to place a bid. It did not show that there were delays or parts of the service down. I did not receive confirmation for bids I was putting in (my intention was just one bid), but once resolved, the app said all of them went through. This is not what I wanted, but I have been financially penalized by their lack of transparency and effective service, to the tune of $1200. I also am still waiting for a $600 crypto transfer from Coinbase to come through to my Kalshi account via their partner platform, Zerohash. They say it should take no more than 10 minutes, and if longer, to contact support. I have emailed and used the support chat feature (no apparent phone number to speak to an actual human btw) for Kalshi 7 times in the last week as well as emailed Zerohash. Worst customer service experience ever for me!I’ve enjoyed using Kalshi since last November and was able to deposit just fine over 30 times until the end of June. When I tried again on July 7th, they had switched to a different payment company. I’ve had the most frustrating experience possible since that day. The problem still isn’t solved. No one has explained what the actual problem even is. The blame is put on me with some short automated response then they vanish. They just ignore the information I give, the questions I ask, and nothing is clarified. It’s now July 23rd and I’ve had to start around 9 email support threads between Kalshi and Aeropay, their payment processor. I just get some short response with incorrect info like the bank account isn’t in my name or doesn’t have enough money then poof they vanish. I would wait days for responses. If I start a new email thread with support then I get a response within 30 minutes with a different automated response based on different incorrect info. Them: Don’t use someone else’s bank account. Me: I’m not. Them: Prove it. Me: *Proves it* Them: After validating we still show it’s not your account. Don’t use someone else’s bank account. Me: Umm, it is my account though. Worst onboarding experience everI signed up last month. Followed the instructions and submitted my application. I waited a week for verification before I reached out to customer support. Immediately I had to chat with an AI. Gave the AI all the information it asked then waited ANOTHER WEEK before a human reach out to me. I reached out 3 days ago via chat support. Spoke with an AI again and still have not spoken to a human representative. It declined my debit multiple times - I have more then enough funds . And the only method I was offered was PayPal or Venmo , which I do not have .yet regardless would be connected to me two other cards which I’ve tried . Or direct bank- which is a minimum of $250 deposit - which I’m not doing because clearly this app is illogical . If you can’t use discover change what it says because you’re promoting incorrect info to your customer in regards to payment methods . Customer serviceAbsolutely horrible experience with Kalshi. I tried depositing $25, but the app kept saying there were “connection problems” and wouldn’t process the payment. I retried multiple times because nothing showed up in my account. A few days later, I checked my bank account and saw THREE separate $25 charges taken out, yet none of the money was ever credited to my Kalshi balance. To make things even worse, instead of actually helping resolve the issue or refunding the missing money, support sent me a generic message saying they reviewed my account and were “unable to continue offering services” with no explanation at all. They closed the case without fixing anything. So now I’m missing money, locked out of the platform, and left with zero answers. How Is This Even Allowed on the App Store?Absolutely unacceptable experience. I’ve used countless trading and prediction apps, but this one takes the award for the most infuriating and careless platform I’ve ever touched. The live scoring system was completely wrong, mismatched the actual NCAA game, and the app presented blatantly incorrect data at the exact moment I placed a trade. When the mistake became obvious, support responded with nothing but robotic copy-and-paste templates that ignored every point I raised. Disruptive/manipulative trading activitiesKalshi is inconsistent in how they manage the cut off time for trading options. For most options, such as sports games, they will allow trading even after the event has concluded and will profit off of your loss. However, when there is an option that will result in a financial loss for them, they will cut off the trading time short and will not let you cash out before the event or activity has concluded/been confirmed to the public. In this case, the event concluded > 4 hrs after they froze trading, making it impossible for me to cash out on my options and making a profit. Cool exchange, Awful appI’m enjoying trading on Kalshi - lots of markets, lots of opportunities if you know what you’re doing. But the app is AWFUL. Like “regulators should step in” awful. It doesn’t display positions properly, often requiring the app to be force closed before the positions will display properly. Confirmations come in and then aren’t reflected in the app - orders that have been filled often still show as open, again until the app is force closed and reopened. If you raise this to support, they just tell you to use the web or redownload the app. That is NOT acceptable. Kalshi MUST fix this - traders cannot be put in a position where the exchange’s own app is showing incorrect order and position info - this is completely unacceptable for a regulated entity like Kalshi. Also, they really need to clarify some of their rules. A trader should be able to read the full rules and understand what they are trading - it is unacceptable for there to be hidden rules and interpretations that are only found out when contracts expire. Major trust issuesBe mindful that Kalshi reserves the right, at their own discretion, to determine the final outcome of a contract regardless of what did or did not factually occur. For example, the Bernie Sanders speech on Feb 12th, 2026 in Greensboro, NC, has yet to be verified by the officially listed news agencies. However the contract has been closed as “No”. Within the rules for the contract, Kalshi staff is to utilize video from the event but that video source isn’t specified in those rules. Because none of the listed, major news agencies covered the event and there is no transcript, Kalshi is treating it like it didn’t happen; effectively cheating anyone who held a “yes” contract on a word or phrase that was factually spoken in the speech out of their correct pick(s). When asked for clarification from Kalshi support, no explanation or clarification has been produced. They cannot tell you how they came to the conclusion they did. Read the Warnings carefullySo what I’m going to say here about Kalshi is not simply because I lost money. I have both won and lost on the platform, so I do not see Kalshi as inherently good or bad. But I do want to give a serious warning about what the platform really feels like from a user perspective. First, in my experience, Kalshi does not provide real customer support. I opened several tickets regarding different concerns, and not once did I feel that someone genuinely cared about understanding or resolving the issue. For instance a word has 85% of being said in a speech while the extract same word in a different context only ranked 7% chance. It was a funny bet so I placed a small one only to realize after that the date of the reception on the bet was wrong. A very polished, non functional experienceFrom the looks of the sign up, sign in, and loading screens it appears they’ve hired some people to make a beautiful application.
