FabulousAudio Kit Pro does it again! They give you in depth apps for great prices. Their synths are all amazing and even at ‘full’ price are still affordable and deep. This one is fun and is much more than retro video game tones (which are still cool in my opinion). You can tweak this synth for hours and not get bored.. I love the record function and any auv3 addition to a stand-alone app is tops in my book. I think anyone who uses iOS devices to make music should check out devs like AKP, Tasty Pixel, Kymatica, Elf, and Beep Street (there are many more but I have a lot of love for these devs). Smaller devs who have changed the iOS audio ecosystem for the better. If you like iOS synths this one won’t disappoint you..Eve SevereVersion: 1.5

WowI own 5 audio kit apps so I was skeptical that this would be a rehash since some of them do overlap and technically you could probably recreate any old fm sound with their synth one. But that would take lots of time and sound design skill because what is in this app is amazing so why even bother, this is one of my favorites already 5 mins in. Well done. Amazing as usual from AudioKitWhat is there to complain about with AudioKit? They’re an amazing team/community/iOS ideal. This is a niche app with something genuinely new to offer. Buy it! 🕹️ P.S.: I was so excited about this app that I immediately favorited all the presets I could and uncovered a bug - anytime there are more than 253 favorited presets, the app will crash whenever you have that favorites list open and -scroll to the bottom-. (I tested this by putting my favorites in a separate folder and experienced the same crash, so I think it may have to do with the number of favorites somehow). I love that AudioKit has always made their favorites easily exportable, so I can have the same set of favorites across 2 iPads (and my iPhone), which is not found on enough iOS apps. Saga 16Bit is a HitJust got this today,01-05-2023. Love it already and the free presets that come with this are a hit. Any thing by Audio Kit is a must have. Especially when their on sale from the start. Audio Kit do keep these coming, I’m a big fan. On further review I am well pleased to add that this very synth has a built in programmable sequencer. Tried after recent changes, much betterI can try something out in the standalone app, move over to GB and hear the same thing now. The inconsistencies between GarageBand and the standalone app are gone (really wish YouTube reviewers would at least check GB when they test, because I can bet there are more folks noodling in GB than AUM :) and I’ve been enjoying using it a lot more now. Doesn’t work well on phone, maybe other tooThe reason I say that is because the keyboard has a lot of dead spots and a problem, at least on iPhone (12 mini), but I suspect on other devices as well. I’ll often hit a key and nothing happens but if my shift my finger, just the tiniest bit, the key triggers also for some reason the iOS app swipe bar keeps appearing on the bottom on the lower part of the keys, even when I touch a key quite high up from the bottom edge. Unfortunately, both these things make the keyboard unuseable for anything other than hitting one single key, without needing to dependably hit a second key after and have it trigger. Also, a bit of the synthesizer is overlapped or cut off by the bulge at the top of the screen on newer phones; it doesn’t appear to be a problem, but on the other hand, I can’t quite tell if there’s something hidden under there. I have not had these keyboard problems on any other synthesizer I have on the same device..MasterFRVersion: 1.1
