An excellent addition to the Apple Watch arsenal.I use this app almost exclusively on the Apple Watch and as such I have one plea - please let the Watch app be independent from the iPhone, including having a bible version stored on the watch itself. As a church musician I use the watch with cellular so I don’t have carry my phone (sitting on it or knocking it off the piano), i still have to have my phone around to read the scripture on the app - even still, it is both kool and convenient..Hlysprt7Version: 3.5.8

Long time User I love itThis app has essentially replaced my book Bible. I have been using it for years. You can change the font if the print is too small and it has a night reading version which is cool for reading in bed so the light doesn’t blind you. It’s easy to use. I have read the Bible through twice on the app and am working my way through the third time. It’s free and has been for years. I can look up verses while eating my lunch at work. Other languageThis is much better than some other biblereading programs. Even you can see in landscape mode. Also verses are very readable. It will be a much greater program if (1) advanced search is possible (at least narrow the search field as in old or new testament ) (2) add other language version (for me, Korean) (3) add functions to compare other versions (split screen) For the free program such as this, maybe the above things are too much to ask. God's KidI too love this app. Though I'm having trouble with navigating between the Bible & my notes. The new notes addition is a nice idea, but it doesn't save the ongoing additions to my notes as I exit from them & then go back to add again to them. I'm cosidering upgrading to the full version as soon as I see that this "bug" is addressed. I'd also like to be able to copy & save (for emailing & printing ) I think the only difference between the free v.s. paid version are the "footnotes" but there could be more . As far as Bible access... It's very fast. When you dial in your chapter, your instantly there. It would also be a nice addition to ( once you're there) to be able to quickly (type in) the verse number and get there just as fast instead of a lengthy "scrolling" process. Wonderful!I can't say enough good things about this app! The dial-a-verse and bookmark features are just great and I , of course, love the differing Bible translations, especially the New English Translation because of the ability to delve deeper into the passage and examine what God meant the writer of the book to say to His people. For anyone who is an avid student of God's word, this is the app for you! I know any future improvements will only enhance this product. I do hope for more works in your "Extra's" section soon! Do yourself a big favor: get this appTheir translation notes for the NET version are extremely engaging. They open up so many paths of meditation and studying inside the Word of God that you will probably spend hours in one single passage (e.g.Heb 1:1-4 will keep you busy for a while). From a strictly technical point of view, the app will probably be a 3-4 star, but as a tool to use the Net translation on your iPad, it's worth every penny (oops, sorry, I forgot it is free...thanks!) I also recommend the Blue Letter Bible, since I use the Strong's concordance a lot..AppLickableVersion: 2.1

Creepy iconI agree with the other reviewer that the icon is ugly. I find the brown strange and creepy, the empty book does not convey the proper image, and the red bookmark looks like a worm. eeeccchhhh. What does tn and sn mean and why isn't there anywhere that tells us what they mean? I am guessing translation and study notes??? And the map information doesn't do any good when we can't find the maps??? Why can't it just show us the map when we click on map. The coordinates are useless. Love the Touch Bible!My only criticism is that there are maps referenced in many of the verses and I don't find any way to access them. The Map icon gives map references and coordinates but I don't have a map to cross reference to. I'm known as the "geography parent" at our home so I like to look at maps to get a better feel of where things transpired. Absolutely Amazing for a Religion Student!!This has saved me sooo much lugging around. I used to have to bring my bible home at least twice a week in order to do relgion assingments. Now I just turn on my iphone and look up a verse. The only thing I would love to see in the future would be a feature so that you can go back to a page you have recently looked at. Loved this app!Love the functionaIity of this app! I've downloaded a couple other popular versions of the Bible and I like this interface best. The spinning wheel makes it quick work of looking up verses. Very smooth operation on all functions. Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star rating is the fact that I would like it in NIV. What happened?I think the app used to work better than it does now. It's slow and buggy. Scrolling doesn't flow smooth at times. Be ready to pay twice!!I purchased the loaded version. When it would not update from my iPad, I assumed I could reload it. Not true! I contacted the Touch Bible Support. Their response is to contact Apple. Apple says there is no record of my purchase (they don’t keep one after the iPad does a major update??) The only Touch Bible app in my purchase history now is the lite version. So to get the loaded version I pay again. Maybe I’ll skip it this time..TdscrnaVersion: 3.5.6

DisappointedI love god with all my heart soul and body but this app is so confusing! I. Ended up deleting it after the first time I opened it which made me feel bad cuz I deleted some of gods word but I did install another free bible verse app it's kinda like a verse a day but evry time u open the app again there's a new verse! Not ReadyThis is hardly the best free Bible, and in its current state wouldn't be usable for me even if it was. 1. Bug would not let me change translation 2. Not enough translations, ones it comes with are the worst ones :) 3. Search results not in context view 4. File size too large 5. In my opinion the reading view is too busy and takes attention from the Words, too blingy for Church use.
