Basic features that are simple to use. Timing of click seems off.I’m enjoying this metronome app, but I want to enjoy it even more. Here are the changes that would allow this: 1. The click should not sound on the extremes of the hand sweep but about 3/4 of the way from the start to the end, to correspond with a real metronome. The developer’s customers are those who value similarly to a real metronome. 2. It is difficult to raise my finger from the tempo slider without an unwanted adjustment to the tempo I’ve just set. There must be a way for the app to know that my desired tempo is what was stable until just before I raised my finger..ChronomistVersion: 3.3

One simple fixAs in other reviews, I cannot see the icon (whatever it may be) that starts the beat. I just pound the screen in random places until it starts. I would love to keep using this metronome but it doesn’t allow for quick access when the icon isn’t even visible. So now trying other apps because as much as I like this one I can’t use it. It’s a bummer too as it would be the only one I’d use if I could use it! Changing my contrast is not a viable option as I would have to set and reset every time I would want to use this. If it ever becomes visible I’ll use it but until then I’ll have to find something else. Update: yay! Thank you developer response! It’s working great and I don’t have to find another! Great metronome!In spite of one small glitch I gave this 5 stars instead of 4 because of the great customer service. The only problem is that the very important blue “i” (Info) icon that you must touch to set the time signature and beats per measure has such low contrast that I didn’t see it. When I wrote to the company they replied within 30 minutes and solved my problem. (The info icon is located on the lower right of the metronome base. Notice that in the iTunes image you can’t even see it.) This is also one of the few metronome apps that allow you to have no beat accented as an option..Andrew4549Version: 2.2

Good but glitchesThe app it very cool, but I do not like how sometimes it glitches and I have to wait for it to go back to normal. Otherwise, the app is great and tells you what time signature you want and shows you what the tempo is called. No soundUsing an iPad Air 2. Found out problem with no sound was evidently keyboard clicks were turned off. Solution was not with volume switches or anything in settings. Love ItI’m a professional musician. All I need is the old Seth Thomas-style metronome, nothing else, and this app gives me that. It’s louder than the old, battery-operated hand-held models, and it’s always with me. It’s like a real metronome!I have been using this because I needed timing slower than my real metronome. This is perfect. I love the look of the display. Volume is great and so far the ads have not interfered or been annoying. My only issue is when I start the metronome by moving the bar, invariably, I end up altering the speed by a few beats. Getting locked into adThe app itself is good, but it sometimes comes up with an ad that I can’t get out of. After pressing the “i” in the lower right corner to get to settings, then “Done” to get back, an ad comes up. This is ok, and fine with me (they gotta make money), as long as one can return back to the app from there. Most ads have an “x” that let you close them and get back to the metronome app. The ad “Flip Trickster“, which comes up for me about half of the time, doesn’t- it only has an “install” button on the bottom, and locks you in the game trial. No way to get back to the metronome. Only way is to kill the app and restart. I understand the need for ads, but getting locked in a deliberately annoying ad makes the app unusable..M4h2Version: 2.3

Lose the adsI’d be happy to pay for a metronome that works without ads. The ads are distracting which makes practice too difficult. Also, setting the tempo is funky. I can’t accurately use the slider. It changes by 1 or more beats when I lift my finger. If I edit the numbers, I have to backspace with is incredibly annoying. It has a different tone on the "1" count which is very helpful. Sliding the bar on the device to get the appropriate tempo is not real precise, but it can be entered manually.
