Minnesota Lakes Fishing Charts Customer Service

First off, I am NOT an employee of this software company. I was looking for an app that would allow me to see the depth of the lake we have a cabin on near Park Rapids. I was reading reviews about not having Lake Minnetonka and that I should not spend the $5. This scared the heck out of me but there really is no other option out there so I made the purchase. I have only tested the lake map side (not parks etc.) and was very happy to see that it works just like it should! I can see the depth of the lake where I am at and can add a favorite (pin) that I can refer to later. I have not experienced any crashes. BUT it does NOT have Lake Minnetonka... What might be good for the company reputation is to link to a website that has a list of excluded lakes. Although it does not affect me (I don't have the money to worry about the depth on Minnetonka) I would have given 5 stars. That's just plain wrong to have potential customers wondering whether their lake is available or not... In summary, I have only used this for a day but if you want a lake map tool with gps capability for your iPhone, this app does it. A lot cheaper than the $50 I spent on my lake map software from a gps maker that starts with a "G" and ends with an "n"....

I’ve been using this app occasionally but I find myself using this constantly. I create number of tracks when I go fishing. I also send waypoints to my friends to let them know where I am. Great interface, outstanding functionality, endless ways to use the app and I cant say how nice it is! Great!

The best traveling app in the entire appstore, well designed with maps integration. The user interface is fabulous and the app is amazing. I also observed it has all the points of interest with where to go, what to see and can do with easy to understand symbolization.

Don’t know why some people find this app to be less satisfying. This is a 5 star app all the way through and detailed. Don’t need to highlight its cool features having the offline maps on your palm.

I had a different GPS device that showed an aerial image. I couldn’t see a thing in the sun. What a waste and frustrating. This app is so clear, I can see all the information that I need, right when I need them and in right mode.

Good app... I was wondering when using the interface. Point to point depth details are furnished which is almost similar in real also accurate GPS positioning and tracking.

I think my favorite thing is being able to locate my favorite fishing zones. Now I'm planning to purchase full version of flytomap to enjoy other lake, marine apps for fishing.

I use Gps feature occasionally, it works great for me. I also tried other Gps apps which are overpriced but this app performance I like the most and is very useful.

Now I can have real fun with w-map apps. Indeed finding a map as per one’s requirement and to the limits is not easy. But this app made it for me. It’s very useful.

I would recommend this map application to anyone! This is an ultimate app for sailing, my team sails on this app regularly and they say it's remarkable.

Quite handy for planning fishing trips. Accurate data on the maps. Why no depth data for Lake Minnetonka?

We just came back from sailing and its been an excellent experience for us! its a real app.

I spend several months in a year in Minnesota and I love outdoors. This Lake application is very detailed on contours and fishing spot! very useful!

I like it but woud have given it 5 stars if it woud have given me depth markers on the contour lines. Also some of the smaller lakes don't have any lines.

This has to be one of the best! It has only the confirmed information and has great info at that!!!!!! I trust this app.

As a navigator I can only say one thing: I am able to navigate in this sw!

Works great with OS 3.0 nice to see app for this area which I always dreamt for.

Great app, needs bugs worked out tho.. It keeps crashing. And also needs more lakes with completed maps, just a plain blue map doesn't help

Unusable app. I purchased the app over a week ago and find what down loaded useless. The app partially loaded but will not let me zoom in more than 16 miles. The customer service seems to be nonexistent. I sent several messages asking for help or money back and have not received either. I would not recommend purchasing this app as it does not work.

Has not worked at all. It just freezes up and none of the mad work. Don’t waste your money. I want mine back.

Be really careful before spending $5 like I did. I think the other reviews might be fake. I loaded the app and it crashes constantly. When I tried to go to Lake Minnetonka it just kept crashing. The few times I was able to have it not crash I found it really difficult to understand. Google Earth is better then this for just seeing the lake on a map.

Bought this especially for Lake Minnetonka...I wanted depth charts for the lake. You would think that there would be depth charts for the largest lake in the Cities area but the developers are obviously not from MN. Other smaller and less fished lakes in the area have complete depths, but not one of the most popular lakes around. What a total scam and joke. This app was a total waste for me and next time I'll just throw my money in the lake!

Like many others - this lacks some of the contour info you would expect and like to see. I have had other issues such as delays in the keypad recognzing characters (only happens in this app) - and it said it would have state trails and snowmobile trails marked and did not see this for my area which has lots of snowmobile trails.

"Nice viewer with large coverage, but does not have any additional functionality like tracking. can you release the additional functionalities in next release?"

The lakes look like mspaint, no option to set markers, no gps, no 3d like more hand held gps fish locaters do. Either focus on making a lake map or a trail map. Poor execution all around, in accurate, not worth 4.99.

Fairly useless without map downloads for offline viewing. For example, lake of the woods, no cell service. Even worse, I couldn't get a refund. Please put my $5 towards offline access development.

A nice bargain for iphone. It does drain the battery, but it is worth, fast while using the maps on the run.

Good thing is that I already experimented with the app before traveling. This is something that really works.

It makes ice fishing so easy, it did take a round or so to fully understand all of it's features but well worth it.

After you are done using app. App drains my iPhone battery even when app is offline.

No depth on topagraphy lines. Innacurate lines in general... However, it is great for when you are not in service areas. At least you can find your way.

You should add tracks and more details about depths. Position is now more accurate. What's about currents?

I bought this app thinking that I could use it on willmar lake in willmar mn. But of course there is no depth charts for willmar lake!! Please add it please!!!

Figured take a chance on $5, better than $300 gps right? App wont stay open for more than 10 seconds so basically worthless to me!!
