Gods wordWhat would I do or go without Gods Love for me. It’s way past midnight & im here crying wondering why I’m still here- I’m waiting for my Lord to take me home - I won’t be a burden here and o so happy I will be! I want all my loved one to come- some are interested in Heaven and a couple are interested in money- o I wish they could get the joy of God and understand why I’m so ready, God has supplied me with resources to pay my own way here- some would like the money instead of me ‘wasting it on assisted living - but money is paper to be used to keep the children from spending on me- Lord use me to witness to someone from this bed- I feel so useless- God bless & keep every one & let them realize how important it is to be ready and Witness to someone- all we need here is food and a place to sleep - God can impress us who to help & pray for along the way- God show my family that doesn’t know God the way home and money is not so important- but God is & to not criticize people just find. The more in our own eyes and realize it’s so important to be ready and not just to hoard money! An excellent Bible app provided by charitable folksThis is an outstanding copy of Gods word. Some criticize the audio aspect. But it is not irreverent because the technology is limited in its pronunciation. Also, though it is good to read your own hard copy because you get used to where verses are on a page and that helps memory…the hearing of Gods word is a great blessing too and is a practice of Gods people throughout history. Sometimes people did not have many copies of Gods word. So they would gather to hear it. I think of the precious underground Chinese Church who have experienced a famine of Gods word and they starve for it…they crave it…and GLADLY listen to it! I listen to it while sleeping often or busy doing other things. I see this as a good thing because Gods word has power. It’s not irreverent to listen this way though when we spend time in private to read or listen in Church we should give our undivided attention to the word of God. Extra-ordinaryThe Bible application by Tecarta, Inc. is over and above any superlative I could use here to describe it. I have been using it now for a couple of years and it has transformed my daily Bible study. I still use my hands-on Bible loving the feel of the leather in my hands traipsing through the Word checking and reviewing the verses as the morning study takes me through the Word. However Tecarta allows me to take notes and save the study and messages in an organized manner that is quickly and easily accessed as never before. The method of keeping margin notes, not available in countless other apps and programs used in the past, allows quick access to a verse, inserting a note and keeping the verse and verses in a separate note that can be recalled by the search tool. This program has revolutionized my Bible note taking. Additionally the manual is short and simple allowing the application to be quickly learned. I hate the hundred page manual poorly indexed. Not so with the Tecarta application. It is a quick study, short and simple making the user adept almost instantly. The selection of Bibles is comprehensive along with study bibles, and Strong’s together with a nice selection of commentaries and dicitonarys. I pray that the author and all of the staff are continually blessed by the Lord as He makes his Word available to us through Tecarta. Wonderful as floating referenceI have a new respect for the Tecarta Bible app now that I upgraded to an iPad Pro. I have always enjoyed the complete reproduction of all the footnotes, side notes, and cross references of my paper NIV Study Bible. But, now, with the ability to do side-by-side or floating windows on an iPad, it is wonderful to be reading a Christian study book, perhaps in the Kindle app, which doesn't support windowing, and be able to slide in the Bible app in a floating window to follow up on a Biblical reference that the book makes. I also used to spend lots of (enjoyable) time wandering through cross-references, with many page flips in the paper bible, seeing how ideas are connected and related. It's so nice to do the same in the NIV Study Bible content of the Bible app. Even better, the Study Bible notes are not frozen to the NIV translation. Great Bible but …The Bible is great. I use this Bible a lot and study from it. It does great references and automatically makes the Bible verses linkable when you note them for study in your notes. Also, if you put hyperlinks in to other areas of the Internet, it automatically creates links for them. One flaw though is the select feature in notes. They really need to improve this, so you can select different pieces of your notes and copy and paste them accordingly. At present, you can ONLY select the whole thing which really doesn’t make any sense. They really need to expand and improve the whole note and study feature, so that you can easily take expert notes when you’re studying Bible verses, listening to videos, or sermons and lectures. Best Bible App Ever!!!!I have been using this app for about four years now and it is easily the best Bible app ever. I have about four Bible apps on my phone that I use for different purposes but this is my favorite, I easily use this one the most and do all my daily devotions on this app. It has so many great features I don’t even know where to begin, from all the different commentaries, study Bibles, devotionals and Bible reading plans you can buy. The fact that you can highlight things in five different colors, add margin notes, and book marks. It has an incredible filing and note system. You can have it read to you and it has a couple deferent voices you can choose, and there is so much more. I am currently in training to become a missionary and this is fantastic for studying and sermon preparation. My fiancé and I read our devotions together using one of there yearly Bible reading plans and even though she lives eight hours away we are able to see every verse that either of us highlight, every note or margin note that either of us make, because we have an account that saves everything to our iCloud. Love this appI have had this app for a number of years and purchased many of the devotionals, commentaries, and Bibles. I open it each morning and see the beautiful, light, and realistic pictures that accompany truths from different devotionals. These samples have helped me know which devotionals I want to purchase and I own many of them. Some of my favorites are the Woman of Peace devotional, Nurturing Great kids and the One Minute Love Language devotional. I also love the J Vernon McGee’s Thru the Bible Commentary that has helped me to gain an understanding of difficult Old Testament books of prophesy. I love the free audio version of the King James Bible. This is an incredible resource that is dramatized with music and different voices! Devotion August 8, 2922I have used this devotional for more than a decade and I have enjoyed it. Today, August 11, 2022, the devotion became political. I found it appalling for you to discuss abortion in a devotion. That is disrespectful. I don’t care what your beliefs are, you have no right to bring politics into devotion. I don’t agree with some of the arguments, however, you all are scaring young people from the church; therefore, what you are trying to protect will surely perish. You forgot to mention guns. Best Bible AppThrough every iteration of this app there have been improvements and never once did I ever think it was in any need of improvement. That’s how good it was initially and that’s how much it keeps improving despite my thinking there was no improvement possible. My favorite passages are marked and conveniently accessible and navigation is easy as can be. The availability of different translations and the ability to change which one I’m using at a moment’s notice provides the subtle shades of meaningful differences to flesh out the richness of each verse in a way that suits my intellectual curiousity and my spiritual hunger. GreatIt is a great app iv had it for a year and some of the others even when I can’t read it I turn them n the audio which is 10 times better then the others how they do it but the only reason I did 4 stars is that at work I can’t just grab my phone all the time or until I can grab my phone I can read it (IF) it was able to be down loaded as an app on my Apple Watch then id be able to kick start my reading or start it on my phone right from my watch which would be a big help. Great appI have really enjoyed using the Tecarta bible app. I have used this bible app for quite some time and it has always been my favorite. I enjoy the ease of use and different versions that are offered through wifi. So far, I have not experienced any glitches in using the app. I've used other bible apps and they are very glitchy. But Tecarta has a very smooth operation. I like the parallel bible capability as well. Over all it's a very good bible app. However, I do miss one feature that was available that no longer is a part of the app and that is the history feature. You can go back to a previous scripture but you used to be able to see your complete history until it was cleared. Format changed.I use to enjoy reading the scriptures from my phone with the previous format. I also used my phone as well as my Bible on Sundays during worship service. When my pastor made reference to other scriptures, I used my phone to get right to that scripture to read for myself. As it appears now, that’s going to be a delayed issue since I just can’t go right to a scripture. It depends I may just delete this app altogether. Best library of reference booksWhen Tecarta began, It was solely the best single resource for Thomas Nelson, Zondervan and other licensed biblical reference material on the market. They still have these reference Bibles and commentaries in their library that come with the app, although these are hidden in the back of the app. About a year or two ago Tecarta made the decision to put mass market Christian material in front of the best Biblical reference books that both Protestants and Catholics use for serious biblical studies. It is now much more difficult to get to the meat of what the original purpose of the app was. Basically they went pop culture. Not what it used to be.I’ve used Tecarta for a very long time and have always recommended it to others but this most recent update (at least for iOS) does not work properly, whenever I look up a word(s) it just buffers and buffers and buffers whereas before it pulled up multiple uses throughout the Bible fairly quickly and was perfect for learning and studying but now I find myself considering looking elsewhere for an app as good as Tecarta USED to be. Excellently SyncedIf there is one thing that has changed my spiritual life it is the easy access to this Tecarta Bible. I have been using this edition of the Bible for several years and it has helped me to be a quickly refer to Bible texts much more easily than many others though I am 85 years old. I have four online devices where I use this version of the Bible and the beauty is that they are perfectly synced so that my notes to the verses, and my highlights are readily available on whichever device I am using for study of the Word or for reference purposes. The only Bible app with unobtrusive adsI have been on this app for over a decade now. I have watched it grow and evolve to no end. Great Bible AppI love this app. I use the Tecarta KJV bible app not only to read and sometimes listen to the scriptures but I use it every week to make my messages and teaching notes on. Too much changedThe daily pictures of mountainous territory and nature are gone. The scripture verses along with those images were something I looked forward to every morning - a reminder of places and beauty God created. Can you please bring those back? Not happy about the adI have had this app for several years and have loved it. The recent update brought many changes. Some good and some not so good. One problem I am having is the ad that pops up following reading the daily Bible verse. It won’t go off and I have to end up closing out the app and opening it back up to read The Bible. Solid e bibleThis bible provides a Strong’s concordance reference. There are many translations available at very low prices. The split screen is invaluable as it allows viewers to see two translations at once. I own the amplified, version the new living translation and the king James and no matter what device I have I will always have them and my notes and comments. No more lost wet damaged bibles that are expensive. I use an iPad 10.5 with a heavy duty case and premium screen protector so in a sense my bible is 10.5 x 9 and 1/2 inch thick. Audio Is A Game ChangerI've used this app for years and enjoyed its ease of use but this new update with audio is amazing. I've recently decided to do a one year Bible reading plan and hearing the audio while reading along adds so much to the experience. Having issuesI've been using this app since my first smartphone in 2013. Up until recently I could have said I was completely satisfied with it. I loathe and despise the fact that there are ads. This reminds me strongly of the incident in Matt. 21:12-17 where Jesus finds merchants in the temple and overturns their tables. If you need to make money, make it somewhere else. God's word isn't a magazine to run ads in. Also the feature where you can tap on written references and the app will take you to them is bugging out. Bible AppJanuary, 2018 I love the new update on the app. When listening to the bible is being read to me, there are different voices for the characters, including the a voice for Jesus. I can read 3 to five chapters a day with the help of this App. I truly enjoy studying my bible with this App. Thank you. Disappointed in the lay out.I’m very disappointed as I’m only interested in reading the Bible and it made it very hard to find the scripture you want. New update Stinks!I’ve had this app for many years now. I loved it because it was a stand alone KJV with audio. I also was able to purchase the Strong’s Concordance. These were the only 2 products I was interested in. The ability to share image and verse together was a feature I used daily for over 3 years, sharing on social media. The simplicity of this app was what I loved and desired in a Bible Study App until the new update forced an update changing everything. There is now so much extra that my experience is overwhelming. Sure, I’ve learned how to use only the version I wanted. But the search feature in overloaded with topics that just clutter the page. Scrolling after a word by is searched is awful because the page skips multiple passages due to the way it’s designed. The simple app that I once loved is now so extra to navigate. There is also ads on the page that wasn’t there before, mind you I purchased the Strongs add on many years ago. I had recommended the app to several people in my church’s Bible study group who now feel the same way I do. We’d love to have been made to pushed update and kept the old faithful stand alone version. I inquired helped and the developer did send videos but nothing takes the extras away. Using the word of God as a Marketing platformSo I bought this app about five years ago. At which time there were no ads. After a while that changed to having ads relating to Christian related products. However, in the past two tears that has change to using google ads which have nothing to do with the word of God. And some of these are pretty inappropriate. Now They are using the word of God as a marketing platform, for things that have nothing to do with the word of God or the polar opposite to the word for God. Noxious UpdateI have been using this app for years—greatly enjoying and being ministered to by the daily verse. Now, my guts wrench with disgust each time I open the app.🤢 Since a major update to the user interface, not only did they eliminate my ability to screenshot and share the beautiful quotes with other saints with some garish pop up, but if I want to go read the context of the verse, it forces me into an ad. Not only is this Holy Scripture (and the 400-year-old KJV), but the abject greed would be offensive on any app that I’ve been using for the better part of a decade. What an absolute trash update. What happened? Did we sell out to some, Silicone Valley app mill? Or maybe just get ideas from the godless world. Update should be revokedThis used to be a 10 star Bible. I could easily create quick notes while watching sermons, go to different text and back arrow back to the previous verse in my phone. On my iPad I enjoyed the split screen with turning pages for reading. I notice in the description of the update it says “pages turn like reading a book”, but with all the horrendous amount of unwanted bloatware I’m not finding it. I can’t even easily take notes because if i miss the exact spot something else comes up. What they’ve done to an absolutely perfect app i’ve been using since 2019 is unconscionable. I’ve bought many of the different versions including the Strongs and the Study Bible with maps, but it is so confusing to use this updated version i’ll have to keep using my old ipad and phone..InsoptivosVersion: 10.1.119

New update ruined this app.This app was easy to use before the update. Now it is difficult and clunky. What I could do before with ONE click/touch/swipe now takes three or four. Bookmarks page now stays on the screen, taking up half the app space. Before, it went away when bookmark chosen. Since I use ipad notes on the the other half of the screen, the Bible text is now 1/4 screen—not much space. Search is much more difficult. It searches for all the words typed as if they are a phrase rather than in no particular order. If I want to stop it from searching for all words as if they are in a phrase, it requires an extra click—EACH TIME I DO A SEARCH. There are many similar ways they made this app less functional. RIP dear truthI made about a decades worth of notes, which were probably the most precious thing that I had in this world. I used to love this app until one day I opened it and all of them were gone. I called “Support” and all they told me was I didn’t sync my data and that there was no way they could do anything for me. The conversation was about 3 to 5 minutes of me saying “of course since this is the most precious thing to me, I am always very focused on syncing my data on a regular basis isn’t there a backup for my data!?!” “No sorry nothing we can do for you” When I lost it all, it really felt like a family member died and I’ve mourned for the precious things that I’ve gathered over the years from every day until today. New version is frustrating and not very ergonomicIn the old version you would hit a verse and the copy and all the options would pop up right next to your thumb, this version seems more optimized for desktop or tablet maybe? It is sort of easier to switch between notes and stuff, but the buttons are so much smaller that I accidentally hit a different view than I want or I get the “multiview” pop up reminder on accident all the time. It’s really hard to work with and I might switch to something else. They have like 4 versions of the app and as best I can tell they’re all the same, I don’t see why they wouldn’t just leave up the “classic” version and just push compatibility updates only..NalkrosVersion: 10.1.037
