Absolutely Essential for TravelWhen traveling I am always stitching together flaky Wifi networks and various VPNs for security. Without this app I would have no insight into what the issue is. This is Matt's traceroute for the iPhone. Love it.I was hoping somebody had made something like mtr for the iPhone - so I wouldn't have to. This is it. Realtime packet traces, nice visualization of loss along the way. There is just one tiny thing I would want to improve: it could have a compact mode where it shows sending / receipt of packets historically, similar to mtr's second display mode. Yes... the fonts are very small, but this app pulls down a boatload of information. If you want to prevent a fatal crash of a hop that is not behaving, I recommend you hit pause after the first or second pass. If you can't read the small type, learn your colors. Elegant and AccurateThis is a very elegant and accurate traceroute application for the iPhone. Better than regular tracerouteThis app is sort of like a combination of ping and traceroute; it keeps sending packets, and takes note of where they're being dropped, and color-codes hosts accordingly: high latency hosts are red, medium are yellow, low are green.
