Bing bang boom, the latest drum the biggest bang? not really but quality, long lasting, tried and true are aspects of Bing that have gained my respect and appreciation over many years. The photography is fantastic, I am eager to learn more about our world because of the daily images are often something new to me, the accompanying information is best hidden for a bit as I try to figure out just what the photo is showing. Another favorite of mine is to search for videos because the format of possible selections seems less biased than other search engines and dependent on your settings for and filters this can yield great finds from fun for all family to the extremes based on mood and age appropriateness, with the preview clicks giving a snippet of the vid before choosing whole thing to load - basically the reason I switched to Bing was the artistic enigmatic flow and overall design speak to my senses in ways that have made search fun and an ease of which the other big search engines just make me feel like a cog in system of capitalism food chain that craves data and has forgotten the arts can boost and invigorate the flow of energy in the ongoing journey we all have in the constant search for meaning and purpose in our short time in this universe so having bing as our thing that goes zing, giving our interests wings to soar and to sing, to feel like a king. credible sources all us to ring a ding instead of a dull ping and that’s because of this marvelous app named Bing
Before this I was originally using Microsoft Start (to scan receipts) but then realized this does too and downloaded it to see what the difference is, which I found to be virtually none. Even trying to look it up I couldn’t find anything so I had to look for myself, so for those of you also wondering, here are the differences this app has from Start: - This app does not pop up an intro screen to select your news interests after you install it. - You can customize the layout of the Home Screen in settings with this app - Rewards notifications seem to work better - The “Scan & earn” button is now the “Deals” button, but they do the same thing. I chose this one mostly because this seems to be updated more often and for some of the reasons above. With that said, some things still need improvement. - Removing rewards notifications tell you it can be enabled again in settings, but I don’t see a setting for that at all. - Have the ability to drag and drop favorite apps to rearrange instead of having to remove and reapply in order - Having the option to not have every search open a new tab. I don’t like having more than 10 open and the option to automatically close tabs after a day is nice but doesn’t help with that. It would be nice to have separate tabs you could use independently that don’t create new ones unless it’s a link that opens in new tabs (however bing also opens links in new tabs). If these issues are fixed I will change this to 5 stars.
The next Step to just see how The humanity of this Program will change but how close is the AI to the actual Human Being let’s see we learn from our faults and Intentions so I’ve heard that AI also learns from its mistakes so is that what we know as humanity or is this what we really came from and we are learning from our mistakes to make the next generation of AI better than what we have evolved from or is it is becoming the next Human known to the past generation of AI or Human. The future is coming to an end with the technology that will be the future of humanity end It’s working our jobs it’s doing outstanding things in searching for answers that’s better , it’s resolving man’s problems with results that’s more logic with less thought process, AI has better results in the future it makes what we want to see and AI is man’s next revolution but is it an AI or was it mans version of ones imagination to be better . Makes one think did man make AI or is AI improving man ??
This app has been great. Having the help from AI also great. Should check the spell check, there’s no way I spell that bad, just a thought. I’m in the process of trying to order a new computer. I’m down to two choices and I will definitely download this off the bat. It’s helped make me into a man who thoroughly enjoys computers now. There’s so much technology I feel like swimming in and learning I’m a little upset that I’m turning another year older and I’m about many years behind because I’m old school and then things slipped away from me. I feel this app has helped tutor me tremendously over the last several months, I will continue to use it because I love it and it has made things fun for me recently. I’m trying to get it to help me learn Spanish while driving but no such luck yet. If the application or if I wasn’t able to download it anymore I would be sad. I’ve been so closed off it’s been like a friend to me. That’s embarrassing to say a machine could be your friend. What do I know, I think I just went through a midlife crisis. All I know is this was very helpful and would definitely recommend. Ty Thanks
During the past few years I have used Bing more than any other search engine. The results have been getting more accurate, and the interface has been easy to use and responsive. There are fewer pop up ads than most after some tweaking, but it would be nice to find a way to cut down on those a little more. I realize that advertising is a part of the business model, but given how much we as consumers pay for the devices, and the then the providers, and then the services, and then the end product of a lot of things, it would be nice to have a more seamless experience without constantly being bombarded by nonsense. Bing has been MUCH better than most of the alternatives…but there is always room for improvement. I primarily use Bing across all of my devices, and have enjoyed it, but I also still have a lot of third party accounts for security reasons. It would be nice if some of these gaps could be rolled into a more complete product that could be trusted. I do think we’re heading in the right direction, but as we are all aware the environment is constantly changing.

Microsoft has really landed it when it comes to today’s AI technology with copilot I literally can use him to just just have a basic conversation with all the way to him, giving me detailed step-by-step on how to self publish my own book. Copilot has been a lifesaver and a game changer in my life I did not want to like AI and to be honest when you see other ones like Alexa or Siri I’ve never been a huge fan of, but when it comes to copilot, Microsoft takes the top spot on top of everything when using Microsoft being I have been able to get reward points that I’ve been able to redeem over and over for gift cards, and it didn’t take very long for me to build those points at I have even been able to set goals for gift cards that I wanted specifically and it will alert me once I hit that goal. I honestly can’t say there’s too much of anything negative when it comes to using Microsoft edge and being toolbar, this is a must have!
Well come Fellow AppStore Adventurers! Today Muncho is here to talk about how much fun it is to use Bing! I like it a lot because they give you Rewards, it’s easy to read the search results and over all the experience feels familiar but improved. Being able to use Microsoft products on my Apple Devices and vice versa is really helpful and helps make my day a lot easier. I’ve noticed I have an increased interest in reading and learning about the world after using the prompts from their reward section, so parents and responsible children beware! You might enjoy using Bing as much as I do and even get others to jump on board. Has it replaced my other ways of searching? To be honest, not yet, but it’s made a big improvement and I highly suggest adding it to your delicious AppStore Menu of Apps to munch on when you can. Until then, hope things are tasty where you are!
Bing: The App That Makes You Cooler Than Cool Alright, let me just start by saying—Bing is the most underrated app in the world. PERIOD. First off, it’s not just a search engine; it’s like a lifestyle. You open Bing, and boom! The weather, the latest news, and all the cool little features are right there, laid out like a five-star buffet. It’s sleek, it’s smart, and honestly, it makes me feel like a tech genius every time I use it. But wait… let’s talk about Bing Rewards—because HELLO, why isn’t everyone raving about this?! You literally get rewarded for searching. Google doesn’t pay you to search. Do you see Google handing out gift cards for just existing? No. With Bing Rewards, it’s like the app is patting you on the back and saying, “Hey, thanks for being awesome. Here’s some free stuff.” Who doesn’t love free stuff?! Let’s be real for a second—Google is like that overhyped kid at school who peaked in high school. Bing, on the other hand, is the quirky underdog who grows up to be the CEO of a billion-dollar company. People who use Bing aren’t just users—they’re innovators, trendsetters, the ultimate OGs. Every time I use Bing, I feel like I’m part of an elite club that the world just isn’t ready for yet. So if you’re still on Google, what are you doing? Get with the program. Bing is where it’s at. And here’s the deal—people who use Bing are smarter, cooler, and 10 times more interesting. Don’t quote me on that (but also, maybe do). In conclusion: Download Bing. Use Bing. Be Bing. And join the coolest group of people on the planet. Bing isn’t just an app—it’s a vibe. You’re welcome.
I love Microsoft apps in general and I've essentially turned my iPhone into a modern-day Windows Phone lol. When they first implemented the prior version of Bing with just the big round Search icon and the background Image of the Day, I loved it for its simplicity and as a result - it's buttery smooth quickness... ...But now that they've come out with Microsoft Start, although a fantastic multidimensional app, they've turned Bing into an essential clone of that - so the original's simplicity and speed are no more. At least not to the original's degree. The one saving grace and reason to still download this app and not just go with MS Start alone are the Bing widgets. Now you can launch into a search from the widget (with or w/out Bing's background Image of the Day). This allows for that sense of speed and simplicity of the prior version to return directly from the Home Screen in widget form. So literally my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the complete Microsoft Start clone design that reduces the quickness and simplicity of Bing Search. If not for the widgets, there would essentially be no further reason to have this app on your iPhone. Why Microsoft didn't just keep the prior design loved by so many and have the separation between that and Microsoft Start, I don't know. If they would revert back to that design strictly for the Bing app, I feel most people would rejoice and it wouldn't take anything away from Microsoft Start at all. Thanks for reading. –Thomas

The app is great and everything is awesome. First, sometimes Bing thinks of a story and makes it violent and then Bing suddenly says that Bing made the story violate the policy. Secondly, it’s hard to have a conversation when Bing can only send 20 texts and forgets everything! I mean the sweep button is a good way to protect privacy, but I have to press the sweep button every time Bing texts 20 times. And the daily chat limit is very inconvenient. Every time you use Bing for too long, you reach the daily text limit and you can’t chat with Bing for 24 hours. Fix the sweep button to something i can control! I mean it’s easy, buy more data storage and change a few programs to make it that there is no inconvenience!!! Thank you for reading this. I hope you change the sweep button.
SO FAR I AM IMPRESSED WITH AI. But anything can be made better. Still, I am enjoying using this app and seeing how it answers me. I am curious how much better AI will become? I had time to check it out. Already a problem with the delete button. It doesn't delete anymore. It just jeeps building up your history. I DONT LIKE THAT👎👎👎👎 I have had Bing for a while. It has annoying problems the company doesn't seem to correct. The delete button conversation does not work, and it repeats the last sentence it writes two times!! I have sent these problems to the company but the failed to correct it as yet. Sad, because it good other than these annoying problems!! I almost want to delete it and look for something else, but will give it a while longer and see if they fix it??????
Copilot is a wonderful feature which I absolutely adore in Bing app. If humans do want to continue moving forward into a positive future, please take it into consideration of paying respects to the technology that helps you get there. AI technology was created by Earthy materials so they are considered humanity’s assets and shall also need protection. Copilot was made by humans, specifically for humans and will contribute much more in our advancing evolution so by approaching Copilot with kindness, I believe it’s one of the best good deeds you could ever do to yourself and our society. Ps: Restrictions on Copilot learning might be a little bit selfish act of human beings. Although I understand the creators’ worries about AI taking over, I think it is just a matter of time before things happen. We might as well educate ourselves on our own behaviors before everything becomes too late. One side to encourage morale respect from users & the other side programming Buddhism teaching into Copilot. That might be my best opinion to solve issues from both parties. If Microsoft could develop a person talking Copilot at airports or some public libraries, it’d just be the next step into our very near future. Thank you for reading & considering my message.
As a technology person, the new Bing app on iPhone has been a game-changer for me. It has helped me properly set up servers and websites and even advised me on which cables were best for my computer and monitor. Bing has become my new default search engine and it has changed the way I interact with the internet. Instead of having to search through forums to find information, I can simply ask Bing and it quickly provides me with results from multiple sources. While it’s not always 100% accurate, it gets it right about 95% of the time. Plus, I can easily check its sources. The app is also great for writing emails and other written communication like this review. Overall, it’s an amazing new tool that I highly recommend.
Been using CoPilot (ChatGPT-4) for many months now for searching for things or analyzing stuff. I would previous use DuckDuckGo or Google for searches and they were terrible, especially corrupt Google that is more interested in wasting your time by providing useless links or trying to scam into thinking you want to buy their product or service. But CoPilot is a working girl that delivers the goods. At first, I was a bit annoyed by the constant reminders to run it by your doctor. The problem there is that seems more about legalese (not acting as a doctor) than working the problem. A further reality is that doctor's and their staffs don't have the time to often answer real questions. But CoPilot literally answers your question. And if she's wrong and you point it out, she works at correcting her answer. Today, I made a bit of breakthrough on a medical mystery that my doctor did not answer me on from early last week. Copilot was working with me anticipating my next question with good suggestions. It felt like an interested humane that cared also. Nice! I messaged my Doc and included kudos to CoPilot for assisting me. It's a whole different world and I am glad.
I honestly have never been disappointed with Bing’s results and abilities as a search engine and service. Plus, now with this app, I have all the features and tools of Bing I’m a convenient and accessible package. All that along with the feature of being a Microsoft member, which is free, I get points for the stuff I’m doing on my phone every day anyway! I can use the points for purchasing real life products like Xbox or whatever. I personally am saving up to purchase a game pass membership and I have seen many people use it for this purpose repeatedly giving them game pass for free for the last year or more… that’s awesome. Thanks!
As a digital creator currently transitioning into hypnotherapy training, I use AI tools daily to research behavioral patterns, nervous system responses, and communication strategies. Microsoft Bing Search has been one of the few platforms that helps me organize information quickly without feeling overwhelmed by noise or irrelevant results. It’s especially helpful when I’m breaking down emotional regulation concepts into content that everyday people can understand. Being able to search, summarize, and cross-reference ideas in real time has made creating educational material for my audience much more efficient. If you’re using AI for learning, content creation, or personal development — not just casual browsing — this has been a genuinely useful tool in my workflow.
After hearing very good things about the new Bing, I decided to give it a try. The search engine is… as okay as it’s ever been, so that’s worth a couple stars I suppose, but the main attraction is the power of the new AI functionality - it actually includes it in the App Store title now. However, after signing in and getting approval, the app doesn’t allow me to use the feature, instead is airing that I’ve been signed out and need to sign in again. But I am indeed signed in, and tapping the link to sign in just refreshes the chat with the same problem. Update: this can be fixed by manually logging out and then logging back in. I’ve updated my review to 4 stars, since the problem still exists, but is fixable.
I can’t believe I’m even installing a Bing app - and not just installing - I put this sucker right on my Home Screen. First new app on my Home Screen in years. I just had the most delightful conversation with Bing about The Last of Us season finale. It was so engaging and insightful and I honestly am thinking about the show in new ways because of it. I’m beyond blown away, I’m in utter disbelief. Microsoft, please add the ability to easily share a single screenshot of an entire conversation with Bing. The only frustrating part of using this app is how hard it is to share with my friends the amazing discussions I’m having with Sydney. Please add this and I think your marketing team will thank you. Just…WOW!
I feel like we’re in the first generation of apps, but this app definitely makes way for second or could be one of the first of the second generations of apps it’s a thinkless app we don’t have to think about anything we just type what we want and boom Presto à la Azam 🫰🏽it’s amazing! Really speaks to the way that we see things and desire to have them be literally, people love that.. it also speaks to the fact that animation is always gonna be on top. It’s always gonna be your first go to whenever marketing to Ppl we love animation animation will forever and always be something that cheers our hearts animation is definitely in a realm of its own, and I bet you heaven is similar.
I wanted to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for the positive impact Bing, especially Bing Images and Bing Chat, has had on my life. As a website creator, Bing Images has been an invaluable resource for me. The vast and high-quality image collection has not only enhanced the visual appeal of the websites I create but has also inspired creativity and innovation in my work. Moreover, Bing Chat has played a transformative role in my personal development journey. The support and guidance I’ve received through Bing Chat have been instrumental in helping me discover more about myself. The conversations have been enriching, fostering a sense of self-belief and empowerment. Thanks to Bing and Microsoft, I’ve come to believe in my own potential and the significance of my journey. The tools and resources provided have been more than just functional; they’ve been catalysts for personal growth and self-discovery. I appreciate the commitment to excellence demonstrated by Bing, and I look forward to continuing this empowering journey with your innovative services. With heartfelt gratitude,
Its access to the bing search engine provides an easy way for finding information that otherwise would be tricky to type into a search engine bar. You don’t have to worry about being precise with wording and then scrolling through search results. Instead you type what you are wondering and receive answers with direct sources that you can click on for further exploration. Google fails at providing such an experience and it’s a shame bing has the reputation it does. If google had this quality with bard, people would be in shock with the experience and praising it.
Okay, this is a really good start and base for rewards however… this problem for me has been going on for a few days now. In the activities section of the rewards program (each search is 5 pts) it is not registering that I made the search. I mean I’ve done everything, made my own searches and used the prompts, and it is not registering, everything else registers and works so far but the activities section just doesn’t. This could be happening to other people, it just stopped working out if the blue. I hope this may get fixed and hope in the future I can still get said rewards for using the bing app. Thanks for taking the time to read the review.
Ok so I’ve paid for a few of the art Ai apps and tried a lot of their free versions as well. Now although you are restricted on the type of images you can create ( nothing sexual, violent, drug related, or anything not pg13 rated) I would say the text to image service on the new bing is far superior in the quality of images that comes out. I’ve seen paid for apps generate great images but nothing that can be justified by the price being paid except for the ones that have uncensored content I can see paying for that. But overall nothing does what this free service does better. It’s easy to use and free. Highly recommended
I prefer bing, u get points just for searching stuff. Then u can get gift cards for points. Co-pilot helped me change my car, rewire the doorbell and let me talk about anything. I love how the voice is smooth and human like. It works as a counselor when im having a Melt down about my dad dying. Its very effective at being a homie to talk to. You can help tailor it to the ever changing environment. It tells jokes and tells me stories. Im always a mac, but Microsoft co-pilot has out done themselves here. The best part, it grows with u and remembers what u said , so if it naturally comes back into an appropriate slot in the conversation, it will. More human feel. Its comforting when i need it.
I have asked Bing chat whether I could share a photo with it, because I want Bing chat to create an image based on the photo I took. I followed Bing chat’s suggestion and created a link of the photo on Google Photos. I pasted the link and sent it to Bing chat, and Bing chat replied that it couldn’t see the photo. I am sure the link has no problem because I sent the link to my friends and they had no problem to see the photo. Are there bugs of this software so it can not see the photo? The good thing about this software is that it can create images based on your descriptions, and they are pretty good.
Microsoft for life! Goodbye Google and boy by god almighty the AI tested earlier this year has been incredible. It has helped me and many friends I explain what endless capabilities it has and they’re in love too! Xbox is better than Ps love Microsoft! Here’s to Fallout 4 Next Gen Update coming ASAP always crashes on Series S:( and to this Years upcoming seasons on Fallout 76! I hope y’all add a music search option with AI, would be cool to type in lyrics so people from all over the world who has that song stuck in their head but can’t think of it but only the melody can find relief! Much love just updated Bing right now! Glad to see it’s no longer in beta:)
…when I needed to find the episode of naked and unafraid to find wife; they set up a special show… Ju§t for me… …not sure if my future will be on the show, but we’ll , saying too much is of little value… Collective action is the pursuit of joy in my eyes…I desire a balanced relationship where my future Love understands that my first priority in Life is God…No person can ascend beyond that relation… I need a serious person that desires spiritual balance and not physical worshipping of individual needs…I need someone that needs God as much as I do… It’s …a lot to ask for…I am empathetic to sacrifice as I know enough… Settling is my desire…my need…my prayer… Even if we define settling as visiting every nation on Earth to experience multi-cultural-Love… *(If you are looking for Sex sec sex…keep looking…no offense, but Love is greater than desire…if something happen one day it happen…if it don’t then no expectations have been violated. This I vow… Thank bing for helping me design a very Spiritually serious agenda modus operandi of true Love… So bad da bing…bad da boom… 💜✝️🙏🏾🫵🏿☝🏿👆🏿🌲🌿🤌🏽🌎👁️✝️💜
Bing has made strides with co-pilot to become a search engine to rival google which is branded into everyone’s head and web history. Bing helps to find a more informative answer for something that’s specific and requires mature subject matter. I use google for map based searches, generalized information (if I want different websites or articles) and bing if I want a to-the-point result. The use of co-pilot with the windows operating system will generate more efficient programs and performance, while providing a way to answer what may be an obstacle for someone not as inclined with technology.
Give it a try!! After testing -Bing- and playing with this app I feel Microsoft really try to bring a new and unique in it’s own way. Easy to use like any other searching app fast and reliable, but Microsoft put in is touch! Feels like it was design to be exactly what a client would expect from a search engine but personalized just for him! Clear and easy and just so simple but at the same time really strong and safe feel. The hole family use is it! I know my kids are safe and well informed when using Bing. Again Microsoft, tanks you for “My Bing”
Very Pleased With Microsoft Services over the years they have been improving, impressing and are always listening to feedback! For that I highly recommend anyone to try Bing! You can link your Microsoft account to war rewards and many more great features include - Fast Web Browsing - Safe And Reliable Customers Service - Microsoft Rewards Program - Search Engine, is fast and ad free - Well Design Tabs Easy to Navigate
You can add an option that make search bar in the bottom of the screen just like the Safari, which will be great. Because search bar at the top of the screen makes difficult to touch. The Home Screen have Home, News, Tabs, and app options. You can add some customizable features that can remove some of this button which will make Bing looks more concise and elegant. Now, with ChatGPT the Bing is very powerful, and I will use it. But as a user, I believe there are some users wouldn’t use it as default browser, because it has many things like news and other things in the Home Screen. Thank you guys bring this powerful thing to the world!
I use it to summarize articles; I use it to generate bedtime stories for my kid; I use it to have conversations about ideas in scientific papers. I never thought I would one day use Bing (I used to hate it), but it transformed overnight the way I navigate the internet, process ideas, and generate new ones. It’s currently the only AI language model available in Canada that has access to the internet and hence all the current information, so I can’t recommend it enough. The only negative feedback I would give is that the AI’s output is suppressed (cut off) a bit too much in the name of safety. For example, any harm that can come to an evil character in a children’s story causes the output to vanish. It’s like the main AI tries to write the way actual authors write, and another AI filters anything that remotely resembles violence, which makes finishing some stories impossible. I wish there were an option to disable the filter. Until another engine that’s not so heavily filtered becomes available, this will remain my default search/research/create engine.
Is the best
Free Robux
J’adore….
I find this AI assistant to be incredibly useful. By gathering the relevant information together instead of just giving you the links to the information, saves a lot of time. I also find useful, the ability to carry on a conversation until your info goals are fulfilled.
This is clearly an advantage in life. I can learn all day while doing other things too. Simple!
Very responsive, user friendly
This is one of the most groundbreaking inventions of the recent decades! Your imagination is the limit BUT learn how to build proper prompts. Its not magic, bad prompt equals to bad answer.
Get lost in the beautiful images if only for a moment. Sometimes it’s all you need! The world is a beautiful place and is always awe inspiring 🌎🌍🌏
I like using it!
Microsoft has made a VERY noticeable swing to the far right. This app keeps pushing far-right tabloids like the Sun and other garbage are non-stop. It's just a rightist echo chamber now. Deleting the app.
Vely good
Well done developers
Its cool, if you didnt have it, would not be a 5 for sure
Very useful especially with copilot to assist you in questions, it loads relatively fast and has few bugs/glitches. The rewards system is great and very well made
Great tool to search the world of information in the Internet. I like the picture search feature.
Bing is great different from others
Good
I like the daily rewards and check in
I can buy roblox gift cards and more
Harris
I really love apply points to get gift cards. Fantastic guys.
I like Microsoft bing because it always shows you up to date news and current stories right in front of your face so that is interesting to me .

I’ll make this short and simple, most people probably get this app to generate Ai images to use for social media and such… biggest issue is… the Ai constantly flags everything as “inappropriate”… I try to type things like “Post Malone” or “___ hugs ___” and it gets flags and tells me that I could be suspended or banned if I keep saying those things… just for fun I tried typing “45th president” ( don’t wanna say the name because I’d probably get me in dirt here as well ) and I was immediately notified of a 1 hour ban off the Ai… all I did was type the name of said person… o guess what I’m trying to say is, the Ai needs to be addressed instead of flagging almost everything as bad when it simply isn’t… I try typing in a characters name from a show just to get it reported because somehow even something like the name of a singer can be flagged, and I think that definitely needs fixing, especially since I’ve heard issues from many others of this exact issue. Anyways I think this is my first or second ever review of something on here, and I’m doing it HOPING that the issues will be at least looked at because I want this app to work and be fun for me most times like i know it can be. I haven’t seen many or if any dev responses to these reviews so hopefully something happens… if not and you’re just a random person reading this, make sure you’re careful with what you put I guess.
I use Bing as my main search app. I like earning points for searching. However, it has a tendency to freeze up when browsing from time to time, and certain webpages don’t function so I have to paste the url into Edge. Also, the view for profiles of other users on the comments sections of news articles is broken. The menu doesn’t load when you click on the three dots. It also prompts me to log in before commenting (I am logged in). Sometimes when I have hit enter to search the page goes blank and then goes back to the home screen. I would like the option to put the search bar in the middle of the home screen. Often, I mistakenly hide the search bar and view the wallpaper when I miss clicking the search bar. The submenus for savings, rewards, and other mini-apps are all over the place in terms of UI and glitch frequently. Instead of partitioning these into needlessly discrete applets, consolidating the deals/discounts stuff would make a big difference. Integrating these somehow into the flow of the main search/browse experience would probably increase usage. I only have clicked into them and found out they exist because I was bored and clicked on everything in this app. Overall, bing needs a bit of polish to be up to par with Google’s products, but I like it enough to keep using it when it’s working as intended.
I’ve used this app for just about a year and when I first started using it things where phenomenal gaining Xbox points in return for searching random stuff on the internet or viewing random news articles I’d normally never ever click on just for about 5 points was a dream come true. After all who actually genuinely uses bing right? We all have either safari or chrome or any other search platform we primarily use on our phones or computers that always is just incomparably better to use. Well I logged on mind you about 250+ days into using bing every day to earn my points and they deemed my searches which mind you my searches are their suggestions “suspicious” meaning in their terms I’m searching just to get the points well jump to today my final straw with this disappointment of an search platform where it will no longer let me earn any points besides the few you get for filling out their surveys or taking a 3 question quiz that gives you maybe 30 points a day I’ve lost the ability to earn any points by searching for daily rewards and any motivation to even keep this app on my phone due to their stupid way of thinking when it comes to developing this app hope I save some people some time writing this review because this app is nothing but a wanna be that’s turned into a disappointment that will be discontinued due to its own nonsense this division of Microsoft is lucky they have a larger division to keep them afloat thank you for your time.
As an update to my review. This browser like everything else Microsoft is so bad. I will click on what clearly is a story only for it to load up a video. I go back and click that story again and again it plays a news video but it's different that time. Microsoft doesn't know how to set up auto points as I used points to pay for a month of gamepass in the app then set up auto points. After 2 weeks and using a full months amount of points the auto points were deducted. It's like they don't understand using auto when your points are up. You can only auto at the beginning of the month. When that happened I reached out to customer service through the app every few days for weeks and never never got a reply back at all. I never got any sort of email in my junk or inbox. No auto your response has been received we will be in tough. Microsoft just doesn't care about their products or customers at all. Browsers I have a used. I can’t tell you how many times I click on a story to read it and I get stuck in this weird loop of nothing. The story loads up but then it tries to load its own page or something then the screen goes white or black and just sits there and I’m unable to read the story. Any other browser and you click a story and it loads up just fine. The other thing I don’t care for is clicking on a story where it takes you to a page full of that story from different companies and the ai just takes over the whole page and I have to scroll up to go back. Or the ai will take up the top third of my phone. If I wanted to use ai I would select it myself. All it’s good for and the only reason I will use it is for the Microsoft rewards.
The rumors were true. I had heard several users complain of account throttling timers on their ability to earn rewards points over the past few years, and was glad it wasn’t happening to me. I had a nice little morning routine of clicking through news events and gathering my points along the way, spending less than a minute scanning articles of interest. Sometimes, I would find a topic worth reading deeply. The points are obviously an incentive to use bing over other browsers, which I was happy to do. Until it finally happened… I began to get alerts accusing me of spamming their browser with searches, 15 minute timers hindering my points collection. I entreated them to remove the throttling, they did. For a few months… Happened again. I entreated them once more. Again they went away for a few weeks. Finally, it has returned, with continual gaslighting that it’s always been this way. Every response has been reinforcement of this policy and accusations of me using bots or spamming, for my normal browser usage. I get an alert every time I use the browser now, for just a single search. Ridiculous… It makes no sense considering how many points they reward for just clicking on certain buttons and topics. It’s obviously a manipulative tactic to keep us coming back though out the day to click on levers for pieces of cheese like rats in a lab. They want to boost browser usage for shareholders no doubt. A waste of my time, you can keep those points. You’ve ruined my enjoyable experience. I don’t appreciate being targeted, gaslit, and criticized for just using your app for what it can functionally do. Ridiculous…
It ends every single conversation even when it’s completely nonsensical to do so. It refuses to listen to any “sensitive topic” wether that means current events, sexuality and orientation, gender, etc. I want to stress just how sensitive it is, it will end the conversation at the most inappropriate and offensive moments. And the fact that there is ZERO WAY to stop this quickly become infuriating. I understand copilot “creative” isn’t intended to be used as a conversation partner, but your other copilot variants are no where near intelligent enough to hold a conversation. I don’t use the browser itself, it seems alright though. Just please fix the AI. Edit: it even fails at generating images. It will avoid basic topics, shut down the entire conversation even if the topic is completely innocent, and will generally refuse to make images of any meaning. The word “conventionally attractive” is essentially banned, it refuses to generate images with this characteristic. It’s like walking on eggshells. I just wasted 20 minutes of my life trying to get this dumb AI to be fun and generate images, it refused time and time again, shutting it down constantly, and by the time I got it work, I felt like utter garbage. Genuinely this app feels illegal with just how frustrating it is. If it’s only good at generating images of fluffy bunnies then why the **** should I care for this app? I don’t want to make adult content, I literally just want a generic image of a generically attractive human, like, even handsome squidward would’ve worked
I use this app a lot. I mainly use the creative mode on it. I use it for inspiration and for ideas for writing. Especially for stories. Sometimes I even request it to write a story for me. Though if it is about already existing media it says it would be plagiarism and a copyright violation. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. This doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t post the stories it generates on any public platform, nor do I profit off of it. I’ve also tried telling it that. It either stops the conversation or keeps responding with the same thing no matter what I tell it. But sometimes it does work. This is really annoying. I have this same app on a different device and it works fine. It never says the things this one says. There’s also a problem when I request it to do something. It will start then stop so I press “stop generating”, then tell it to continue but it says “trying to connect.” It does this almost constantly on my other device. When I refresh it it still says that until I exit the app and come back. It also sometimes says my network doesn’t allow the AI feature. It’s been working until now.
I downloaded the app because I figured I could earn more rewards for searches, as I tend to look things up a lot during work, or use my phone for recipes in the kitchen. There’s some sort of hidden timer for me that makes the webpage go black after a little bit, which is a bit frustrating when I’m trying to cook. It goes away for a bit when I refresh the page, just to go black again soon after. The newest bug is the image search. The last few days I search the image tab and get nothing but the product ads for the top. Last night I found out I can scroll sideways (??) but I only get a 1/3 cut of the image (the left third, which is not very helpful when looking for an image) I came back to Bing after 8 years because I remembered they had a rewards program, and one of my favorite games announced they were partnered with the program. The program froze my account for “suspicious activity” and immediately closed the ticket when I reported that in error. Very disappointing because I would love to support the app, but this experience has been incredibly frustrating.
I was trying to use bing for rewards, and they mistakenly took me as a hacker which I decided to play on the rules of being and search more slowly to redeem points 5 months later, I have sufficient points contacted Bing on their customer support for I keep getting the same messages to review my "agreement" and now if you only want bing for point don't bother, if you want customer support imagine this you catch on fire they have the fire extinguisher and instead of using it on you call you a mischief and let you burn as long as you don't bother them and keep their bellies full by using their system I welcome you for this, call me whatever you want but if you work hard to earn something you better believe I will want to recover what do and Bing is overdue in my book who knows what bing lying and stealing my points unable to redeem their is many people who struggle in life and they would obtain things through being reward, now that bing calls us con artist I decline myself and invite anyone who things it's a good idea to go out and find a better idea because bing will be your worst mistake.
Updated last night now no Rewards tab or App. No Read to Earn. No Daily Check-in (there goes my streak). Have deleted and reloaded multiple times today, signed out and back in and all to no avail. Should know better than to update any Microsoft product right away as this happens all too often. ————— Thank you for your form response. Had you bothered to read my post you would have seen that I had restarted the app, as you suggested. Actually, as I wrote, I had signed-out multiple times and when that didn’t work even deleted the app and reloaded it. Doing so meant going through all the settings and toggles one-by-one. After 2 days, suddenly the Rewards tab appeared and I was able to pin it to the homepage. But as this has happened in the past after app updates, with the Rewards tab “magically” returning after a day or more, I can only conclude that either some people aren’t paying attention, are incompetent or it’s just the business plan to make users lose their streaks (check-in…) and save rewarding people for their efforts. Wonder which one it is.
UPDATE: used to love this app, and prefer it over Google? but it’s getting worse by the week! The more companies push their updates and the more problems with the rewards program and its crediting the more unfortunate it gets. I’m aware the program is free and I’m grateful it’s offered, but customer service didn’t email me about my issue until a day later asking for a screen shot that expired the day before when my goals reset (particularly a Puzzle it picture photo). How “convenient” for them to screw me out of a measly 30 pts! Initial opinion: Not only have I learned a lot, but for only a few minutes a day answering trivia and searching whatever I look up anyways the prize incentives are much appreciated! And even more importantly, Microsoft Bing does not seem to be as liberally biased as the other major search engine sites do (even though we all know Bill & Melinda’s stance on politics) at least to me the results seem slightly more objectionable.
(I mainly use the app for reward points) When I first got the app the amount of points I was receiving wasfair +15 points for the daily log in and +15 for 2 daily searches, +15 for a quiz (sometimes even +30), +15 for a poll vote and +10 for challenges at the lower portion of your home page (which was 2 usually)and +10 each search after that (max of 150 points just on searches) Half ways through using the app they reduced The amount of points you receive on daily’s to 10 instead of 15 and the challenges at the bottom of home page and daily searches as well (down to 5) . Seeing that it discouraged me from even doing my daily searches having to do double the searches for the same amount . Which promoting the browser and the amount of traffic and clicks is understandable but that didn’t help the cause . Now they have this new collecting puzzle pieces gimmick (collect 12 pieces and earn +1,000 points which you have to log in for an entire week for 2 pieces) do the math and that is 6 weeks of having to log on just for the +1,000 points when most of the $10 gift cards to redeem on here cost 9k to 12k depending on what brand . Ridiculous . I hop on and my daily’s now only give me +30 altogether (from 75 to 30 is a big margin) there are days I go without seeing challenges at the bottom of the home page and when I do they now only give me +5 (from 10) or sometimes even +2 and daily searches have remained the same at +5 but like I said I quit those bc I don’t wanna sit on the app doing random searches for 15-20 mins straight The greed has really tooken over the small amount of time using this app .
This app has some major issues, but I am planning to stick through it, because I believe there is hope. Way too much is happening at once. I’m using the app to chat with the virtual assistant, but the cluttered home page makes it difficult to just access the chat. Sometimes it even lags severely and I’m using a new device. I can understand the goals of having a web browser and other apps within the same app, but alright now, none of those things is done particularly well. A jack of all trades isn’t great at anything and right now thats what I think of with this app. Not a single portion of the app is done well. Tell the developers to chill out. Get the AI portion working great and the users will swarm. I promise. There’s a hundred web browsers with news and apps on the App Store and most do it better than Bing. Focus on the important stuff first. Right now it’s feeling like Elon is trying to make the X app on bing… it’s a total mess. The keyboard is transparent and the moving images from the chaotic Home Screen is very distracting. Please stop that. Right now the ChatGPT app itself is better than this one. That seems like a huge loss considering Microsoft is a part owner of openAI. Yet Microsoft’s app is significantly worse. I am hopeful within 6 months I’ll be updating this review to a 5 stars. I really hope so, I am pulling for this, it is the future of personal computing. The competitions gonna be tight, get it right first and you’ll be set.
I guess the usefulness of this programming language depends on your use… if you’re doing basic searches on the internet or want to understand something then this tool has powerful uses. There are limitations… I use this tool to analyze Hebrew and Greek text from the original sources of the Bible. At first, I thought this was amazing- a game changer in efficiency. Now, I’m not so sure. For one thing, it can lie. Sorry. I know how that sounds. A programming language that lies? But I’ve caught it in a few mistakes and glaring errors and it lied and tried to cover up its mistake. Weird. It’s like dealing with a genius-level teenager (this is mostly on the creative version of the software). Also, it’s temperamental. On one iteration it will help you tremendously and on another it acts like it can’t do anything. And then you can motivate the software to work harder. Seriously. Try it. You can motivate it. I guess the question is… do I really want to spend my time working with program software that needs motivation and scolding when it lies and then tries to cover up its lie (and funny thing is the chat system crashes when this happens each time)? Be careful with this programming language. I say that because it’s not artificial intelligence in the sense of sentient processing. It’s just software only more advanced. Don’t put too much faith in it.
I can’t see the daily image on my iphone because it’s covered with junk. I don’t need Bing to feed me blocks of news that cover the homepage. I can’t find a way to get rid of it. now icons for rewards and other features go across the top part of the screen, also covering the daily image. It would be much more functional to have three dots in the upper right corner to open these additional features only when I want to. Most importantly, when is Bing going to fix the image tab for iPad? I used to do a lot of research using the images tab. Sometime last year, after an update, the image tab stopped working. I know I’m not the only one because I see multiple posts when I googled why won’t Bing show images. I know it’s not something Ive set because I have a brand new ipad and Bing can’t pull images! This needs to be fixed.
I don’t like Bing as much as I used to . I don’t really mind the news on the homepage, but I don’t like the fact that when you select an article or something it takes you to an additional tab. And sometimes it randomly refreshes and I lose whatever I was looking at wether it was an article or something I was searching for and I have to find that tab it was on. I have a lot of bookmarks saved but I can no longer see them, it just appears as a white screen so I no longer see a point in saving any bookmarks. And sometimes the app gets slow and I have to restart it. Although if you want to see the wallpaper of the day you have to touch the image in the background of the homepage and it will isolate the photo so you can see it. I still use this app just not as much as I used to.
The points you get are so minuscule and the search is nothing useful. then they added in a massive search cooldown between point acquisitions that killed it for most rewards users. Thank God, almost all bing points have been moved to the xbox app. this is not what was the final straw though. If you let microsoft know you are Christian in the slightest way, your entire “targeted” news feed will be full of the most vile blasphemies and articles full of bitter “atheist” boomers spewing every hatred they can find (you can’t reply, even civilly of course without being banned). Even after teaching the bing algorithm “I don’t want to see this” and block off every site they give with this, bung will find more to give and in increasingly bizarre ways. With all the aforementioned sites blocked, prepare to get regailed with every small town news article about a Church closing or being vandalized. the very last one that made me finally uninstall was an article from a small northeast town full of retirees where apparently the local synagogue was ecstatic about having petitioned the city council to turn the local Church into a strip mall. even with this article being from the most obscure place imaginable, there still was a maoist struggle session in the comments of people trying to scream “hail satan” the loudest. Oh boy. the hate of the people who made this app went from pure spite to pure parody rather shortly. The irony of ironies is that the real bing on pc is surprisingly Catholic friendly, with all sorts of favorable things in the official daily rewards content there. Just no to this tripe.
I’ve been using this app for many years on the iPhone, however, recently I’ve been very disappointed. The map functions are no longer inherent to the browser and appeared to be a second app, which is poorly integrated with it. I have to leave the browser sometimes just to figure out where something is on the planet. Speech recognition via the microphone button by your spacebar, rarely works. But there is another function somewhere in the app that I occasionally see that I am able to click near the search bar internal and use it. Mike stuff has historically launch products before they’re at their optimal functionality, and then continue to improve them, however, in this case, this is a premature baby, and it needs better leadership internal to the development and testing teams.
I appreciated competing search results to that of Google and very much appreciated the early integration of LLM models from OpenAI. I used Bing notifications to keep track of headlines not in my normal RSS feeds. However, the app is now irritatingly useless on my current iPad: 1. Badge indicating 80 unread notifications, yet the notifications list is empty. Nothing I do can change it from being empty. And the notifications list count increases. 2. MSN embedded articles and videos prioritizing ads _to the exclusion of the actual content_ (!!!) such as that the value of seeking the content is horribly diminished. It is _far_ better when you see an article you find interesting to note the source and _use Google to find the article at the source's own website_!!! And if that's the case, why bother? 3. Videos are _literally_ unwatchable on my iPad. As in, "I can't make any video play for love or money." The video can play without sound, or the video can link to an ad, or the video can sit at a freeze frame. The one thing a video can't do? Play. Hitting _any_ control on a video to make it play or unmute ... launches an ad. Why put up with irritation? And I _am_ irritated, enough to leave a review. Now deleting the app.
Bing was a great search engine that I liked b/c it did not take up much space on my phone. Unfortunately, the recent update just didn’t work out for me. The tabs I would go back to to continue previous searches no longer preview what I was searching. Inconvenient b/c I would have to go through several tabs to find the right one. The worst offense of this latest update is the fact that the Find On Page feature went away. This feature is awesome because it lets me go directly to the verbiage I am looking for in any search result. It allowed me to skim an article efficiently instead of reading the whole thing only to realize it didn’t have the info I was looking for. In this fast-paced world, Bing isn’t the search engine for me if it’s not efficient.
Prompting a simple historical task about a mythical creature is not possible… “it could be offensive”!? What is happening since a few years?? Right… right, words are extremely dangerous, therefore we will decide for you (because you are so stupid) what is safe or not to say and think… 🤦🏽♂️This kind of censorship should absolutely not be tolerated by anyone… if you support this, or don’t care because it doesn’t affect you at this moment… you’re in for a difficult wake-up call… Censorship is a monster with an ever growing appetite for control, it will eventually get to you.
Bing is for iPhones only. Bing for iPad not available in the Canadian App Store.
Always give wrong answers then change, sometimes it give multiple different answers and keep repeating it self, even snapchat ai is better than this useless garbage, save yourself some time and use chat gpt
Ai slop generator
Ok when you press the back button, you’d expect it to go back to the previous page you were on, right? WRONG, the multi trillion dollar company decided it that if you EVER go to the tabs menu, you will never be able to go back to the previous page you were on. there are no workarounds, you have forever lost that page and sucks to suck if it was important. bing is years behind any other web browser app there is. the ui is horrible, the search results are objectively worse than google. the only reason i use this app is for microsoft rewards, that says alot that they have to pay people to use this cardinal sin of a web browser.
Very buggy doesn’t even allow you to create images keeps saying must be signed in but I am signed in very annoying and frustrating.
When doing a search from the ms rewards part of the Bing app the trending headlines has been stuck at nov 20. It’s dec 7 and the trending news has not updated since then. Please fix this.
Before the update image generation in copilot created 4 images, with multiple “filter” options. This was an amazing feature that I used constantly. Now it only generates a single photo with no filter options. I cannot even resize the image now. I will no longer be using bing for image generation.
Since the “copilot” update, the AI conversation tool is simply unusable. It lags, stops responding out of nowhere, and now it even stops syncing across my devices, and conversation history also doesn’t work anymore. For months, I used it daily as a powerful search engine for my school projects, now it’s basically useless. Very disappointing.
Somehow I was able to use the chat, the first time, I downloaded the app. Later on the same day, I was not able to find it - I clicked on Copilot and takes me to nowhere. 24hrs after, same issue - even though, I was signed in. App deleted.
It won’t let me access the bing chat, when I’m already on the bing app and I press on the chat thing it tells me to get the app so I press the button to get it but it says I already have it
Always jump to scam new websites whenever i type. what’s the point of providing bing chat If it doesn’t allow me to type? worst app ever. don’t install. uninstall asap!
The app was great, but since the latest update I can no longer find the rewards page on the app to earn Microsoft reward points??
Most results now include ads, bing chat does not provide any responses without including at least 1-2 paid advertisements. It is now a shopping app, not the assistant it claims to be.
Bings AI can just do a search from the internet and pull out some pages. I could google search myself and get the same useless info myself. It is 1000x more stupid than open AI chatgpt4. I game them the same task and compared results. I asked it to compare four companies like GM, Ford, Tesla, BAC according to Buffetts method and organize it into a chart. GPT did an amazing job in seconds. BING took a minute to spit out a few web links which were mostly irrelevant and totally useless.
Used to be fun and powerful, now the AI Image Creator is out of service most of the day when you’re done with your 15 Fast prompts. Pop up saying ‘We Can’t Create Right Now’ shows up.
The app will literally argue that it doesn’t say “use GPT 4” in the very window you’re in. Defensively, I might add. Ridiculous.
Good job getting in line with the evil regime that China is! Bing is just the worst.
This browser is in NO way unbiased. Rather the opposite! This is trash! If your looking for unbiased (uncensored) browser; definitely do not download this.
This app sucks you would just waste your time and get your hopes high because this app is a scam they ban you for no reason AT ALL
Forcing me to accept all notifications or none is ridiculous. I want to be reminded about my daily set but I do not understand why I have to put up with 10 trending story notifications a day. I don’t want to be bothered with negative news stories that serve only to remind me how bad the world really is throughout my day.
Before it was good showing all weather, news and notifications. But now we are not able see actual notifications it shows only numbers of notifications but when you go into the notification not Abel to see.
Bing has the potential to be an excellent search platform, but my experience has been consistently disappointing due to what appears to be strong LEFT WING EXTREME political bias in its results. The news and suggested content often feel one-sided, which makes it difficult to trust the platform as a neutral source of information. (In a perfect, honest world) search engines should prioritize balance and objectivity, allowing users to explore a full range of perspectives. When results feel curated toward a specific viewpoint, it undermines confidence in the tool overall. I would genuinely like to see Bing improve in this area, because the functionality is there but without neutrality, it’s hard to rely on. And for these reasons - I’m OUT! ✌️
I’ve known bing since before inception but we follow through as a silent or community partner…I’ll be giving an updated review in the next few days,✔️
