The solunar (lunar) period is the time of day when wildlife such as fish and game are most active. Determining the solunar period is therefore useful for activities such as birdwatching, fishing or hunting. There are two major and two minor solunar periods each day. The time at which each solunar occurs varies depending on the date and on your geographical location.
The app helps you to determine the solunar period and expected animal activity index (where 6-point is when animals are most active). It also tells you the exact sunrise, sunset, sun transit, moon rise, moon set, and moon transit times, alone with moon phase. The app can utilize your iPhone's build-in GPS to obtain your geographical location. In case you are using iTouch or without GPS signal, the app also accepts user input of longitude and latitude.

Great App.I was looking into getting back into hobby fishing after about 12 years. I used to use the Tables of a popular magazine. I was looking for an app I could take to the lakes and streams with me. This was just what I was looking for. I found a glitch in the DST clock adjustment. Doubled Charged!I paid for this app a few years ago. Thought it was real helpful. However, just recently got the new iPhone 6s and when I reloaded my iCloud from my 5s to the new 6s, I noticed the one and only app that I have ever paid for was missing. I contacted this developer, who advised in an email, to re-download the app again under the same Apple ID, and it will not be a seconded charge. So I did and got a bill from Apple for the seconded charge for this app for $2.99 + tax. So I contacted Apple and complained. Apple advised they had investigated and didn't show that I had ever bought this app. So I investigated it myself. At one time my wife and I shared the same Apple ID until the iCloud was developed and everyone had to have a separate Apple ID, so I looked at my wife's iPhone to see if by chance the app was on her's. Lo and behold there was not a trace of the app on her phone as well. Either this developer has discovered a way to erase the app or Apple pulled a fast one and did the same. Hour OffI started writing a similar app for my Windows phone before I came across this, so I was excited to find this. But not impressed with the results.
1. The sun rise and sun set times are off by one hour (my location is Atlanta, GA area). I have not yet taken the time to validate the other times shown in this app.
2. All support links take me to a site that has no information about this app.
