MLB Ballpark Positive Reviews

Got OverheatedWe were sitting in the sun, row 13 behind the Dodgers dugout. We went to stand in the shade behind section 213. My wife went to the restroom. I was feeling dizzy and was working hard to stay standing. I was tilting to my left and then I grabbed the rail above me. I was sweating profusely. My wife returned and helped me, along with an usher, up the stairs. There, an event person helped me get under the ceiling fan. Another event person got ice water for me to drink. They called First Aid staff to bring a wheelchair and take me to the First Aid Station. There a young woman and an EMT named Jonathan, took my vitals and brought me Gatorade. I cooled down, but I was drenched with sweat. Finally I was able to sit up and stand. The staff escorted me to a golf cart and the gentleman drove us to our car. We are so thankful for the responsiveness of the event personnel and their actions to get me through. My wife and I want to give a shout out to all the staff who were involved. Thank you. Wonderful gameWonderful game on Friday night the Mets beat up on Miami. It all started where I had to get my account straightened out and a wonderful young man in the ticket office helped me out two weeks prior got my account straightened out. I didn’t use it for a year because of a number of surgeries I had. this year I want to take one of my grandsons that I’ve never been there along with my granddaughter who has been with a number of games and my son said help me get my account order and got me set up with four seats in section 111 My grandson enjoyed his first game. The fireworks were great afterwards. Everything was perfect. Everyone that works in the stadium from top to bottom were wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better night for my son and my grandkids. God bless everyone and thanks so much for the help all around. I’m feeling better after my next couple of surgeries we can’t wait to be back..Version: 14.5.0

Used to be great...The 8.0 update made this once incredible app, absolute garbage. I can’t see notes that I’ve made, pictures that I’ve taken and the lists of teams and ballparks that I’ve visited. I used to recommend this app to lots of people, but unless changes are made to return to the way that it used to work, I will not be recommending to anyone. Please fix this app to how it used to work! Update - A few years later and the app is now better. Lost a few check ins and photos, but the app now has added Spring Training games (back to 2006) to check into. My only complaints are that I can’t access all of my photos on my phone; just a select few to add to those new checkins. Also, the app doesn’t post them in the order that I would like and it hasn’t updated all Spring Training Ballparks. Other than that, MUCH BETTER. I’ll go FOUR stars now!.Version: 9.8.0

Worth the wait! The Ballpark App has had quite a journey but seems to have reached a good level of stability and reliability (even with some teams not really using the technology as well as they could). The Check-In feature is FANTASTIC. You can go back and enter games from the past. The app does the hard work -looking up the details. I add a picture of my ticket stub for self-verification. So far I’ve entered games back to 1984. This feature should be highlighted much more! Of course, an “export” function would be a great add. Now, if you can get the MLB App folks to fix the stat look-up function, especially for historical players, my baseball game attendance would be much more enjoyable as I would have something else to do than watch the game (since “my” teams are the Tigers, Cubs, and Nationals). 🥸.Version: 11.2.0

First Purchase for 75 year oldNow that I have received the notification that my tickets were successfully purchased, I have suggestions to help with future purchasers: My notification of a receipt of purchase was eventually finding my tickets on the Ballpark app. I am used to receiving confirmation that my purchase has gone through and additional instructions if needed. I did not have my MLB/Ballpark app notifications enabled because I had never used it beforehand. I did not understand that my tickets would be delivered in this manner. I suggest that MLB should make instructions clearer for purchasers of any age or those of us who are not digitally savvy! Now, I would like to find a seating map that I can find exactly where my seats will be located. That’s enough from me!.Version: 11.0.1

Can’t access tickets on iPhone7 w/o IOS16They need to make the app accessible to people who don’t have IOS 16 or just make the app able to work no matter the time in general, I have an iPhone 7 and legitimately can’t use the app without a force update. No matter what I do it doesn’t go away when all I need is to scan my ticket. The fact this is the ONLY WAY I can use my ticket is absolutely atrocious. It’s physically impossible for me to get my ticket without this app, and I can’t update it. I need access to my tickets and I can’t do that without another phone. I don’t have another phone. Please fix this issue. It’s a ticket app not a software that needs to evolve with every piece of technology yearly..Version: 13.0.3

Ballpark App Is Fantastic!I am a huge fan of the Ballpark App! The convenience of having all tickets located in one place when you travel for games and such is really awesome. Same with buying tickets for any team. As for the history of check ins and such, amazing! It super cool being able to see any game I’ve ever attended! I even went back and added every game I’ve ever been to! What a great collection of memories! If I could make a suggestion, it would be for the ability to go to the stadium history and see a breakdown of the games from that stadium and maybe more data about the stadium. Just a thought, but honestly this app is a must have for any and every baseball fan..Version: 13.1.3

Bad experienceLast year I took my dad who needs a stroller to get around to a Reds game and we sat in Bally sports club and we were able to park right under the stadium and take an elevator right where we had to go sit it was a very nice experience this year I took into a game was going to do the same thing but when we got down, there was unable to park under the stadium because you needed a yellow pass did not know we ended up having to park about two blocks away in a parking garage where the elevators did not work so he had a hard time getting up and down the stairs. I’m being that we were at least two blocks away does not sound like much but for someone who has issues walking, it is a long distance disappointed, we were unable to park under the stadium like we did last year.Version: 13.1.4

5 Stars- Finally, a ticket I was happy to receive! As a frequent visitor of Southwest Florida, I’ve had the privilege of getting tickets from many entities in Greater Fort Myers (Lee County Sheriff, Golden Years 50-50 raffle, to name a few). These experiences pale in comparison to my time at JetBlue park on Saturday. With weather approaching, push notifications gave advanced notice of rain while the stadium information feature allowed me to quickly navigate to a nearby beer vendor (Tom), beating the crowds with ease. Innovation in the game (pitch clock, live betting) shouldn’t outshine the innovation on the app. The only thing more impressive than the performance on the field is the game day performance of the Ballpark app!.Version: 15.1.1

Review of MLB/Rays Ballpark AppVERY, VERY, VERY difficult to follow. Was unable to login due to stale/updated Information; was instructed to go to CUSTOMER SERVICE but was UNABLE to locate a link to that page. Forced to call the Rays contact number, was transferred to TICKETS after a 10-minute wait. Nick was MOST helpful in solving my login issues and provided pre-paid parking info. He warrants a salary raise but your Web Design staff needs to be TRAINED to check their work. I am a former web site developer and I learned early on to open the page I had just written and “push all the buttons” and “read all the text”, then make the necessary changes; if old (75) guys like me can’t make the page/site work, you have a problem! Thanks for allowing me to vent. Go Rays!.Version: 11.1.1

My birthday presentI bought my ticket on Monday June 5 th my birthday. I met the most beautiful family who have had season passes for 40 years! The best seat in the stadium behind home plate, in the shade, and access to the Scout Club! I had the most wonderful time, autographs from 5 of the pitchers! Everyone helped me finding my seat, food, except this tall man inside the Reds Team Shop who made me get out of the store and get back in line and re-enter the stadium and rescan my ticket! That was the most traumatic unacceptable experience. I hope it never happens to anyone who goes by themselves to the Cincinnati Reds game . Thank you for my birthday celebration at the Cincinnati Reds game!.Version: 12.1.8

Buying ticketsI added tickets to my cart because I couldn’t seem to view all the details without doing that. Then my timeline ran out as I was researching all the other seat options and talking to my husband about options. We then decided to go ahead with those same tickets but it would not let me add them again even though it was showing the available. Why in the world could we not buy them if they are available? I could understand if someone else bought them in the meantime, but not the case. I ended up having to go to the website and waste a lot of extra time but eventually was able to purchase them, not through the app though that would have been a lot easier of a process..Version: 13.2.0

Magical Ticket Transfer!Chicago thunderstorms on the evening of May 4th, presented the perfect opportunity to snag low low prices to get to game to see the red-hot Cubs. Sitting on my couch shortly before first pitch I was able to get wonderful seats though SubHub (my preferred secondary ticket market over SeatGeek). Before I was able to make the three to four block walk from my apartment to Wrigley Field, like magic, the tickets were already in my Ballpark App account. Talk about convenience! I was able to make it to my seats before first pitch all thanks to the smooth transfer and interface that popped my tickets onto my Home Screen. What a well designed app!.Version: 15.4.0

Unable to add previous gamesEdit: THANK YOU to the developer team for adding the historical check-in feature!! 5-stars Original Review (4-stars): One of the most basic features should be the availability to add previously attended games to your My History page. If for whatever reason you are unable to check in, there’s no possibility for you to log your attendance to the game. I understand and can appreciate how the app has shifted to a ticket-focused platform, but you have to let your users be able to log events the app may not have tracked. Otherwise, there’s not much we can really do with this. Please consider this to a future update..Version: 9.2.0

AMAZING!I hadn’t been to Dodger Stadium in quite some time, and my recent visit exceeded every expectation. From the moment we entered the gates, every staff member we encountered from the gate attendants and security team to the clubhouse staff and guest services assistants was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. Their outstanding customer service truly made the experience unforgettable. And being seated right behind home plate, up close and personal, made an already amazing day even more special. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our visit such a fantastic experience. We can’t wait to come back! ⚾💙.Version: 15.5.0

Is This Heaven? If you’re over, let’s say 50, the ticketing process seems like a pain in your batters box. However, once you master the account creation & I recommend writing down your password, your eligible for Cooperstown. The Ball Park App is meant to accept and transfer tickets all season long. I don’t miss standing in line at the Box Office or waiting for a friend to arrive at the ballpark just to say, “I think I lost your ticket.” In the field of dreams some are players and some are spectators, where ever you find yourself these days, remember you can’t get in without a ticket. Let’s Play Ball!.Version: 13.1.2

An incomplete app if there ever was one.I guess as apps go, this one provides a way to purchase parking & seats prior, which is handy, but why no Apple Pay option? Next, had to use the app to enter Dodger Stadium for the Elton John “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” show. Where is the map showing where our tickets are located? Or at minimum a map of Dodger Stadium so we could find our seats? Geez, frustration abounded with the people I spoke to because they were having the same issue. I mean sure, I could Google where my seats are at but then what value is the app proving other than a sales tool? Maybe MLB should hire some of the developers that made the Walt Disney World and Disneyland apps since they include Apple Pay and park maps..Version: 11.6.0

Very difficult to useDo not like this app at all.Version: 15.4.0

Lost infoAll my previous entries and photos dating back to 1977 disappeared when I finally managed to log back in after the new security changes. I give up..Version: 15.5.0

MILBCool app to save all the parks you’ve been to. Will never replace a good old fashioned ticket stub. I wish it had minor league ballparks added in.Version: 15.5.0
