Used to be great...The 8.0 update made this once incredible app, absolute garbage. I can’t see notes that I’ve made, pictures that I’ve taken and the lists of teams and ballparks that I’ve visited. I used to recommend this app to lots of people, but unless changes are made to return to the way that it used to work, I will not be recommending to anyone. Please fix this app to how it used to work! Update - A few years later and the app is now better. Lost a few check ins and photos, but the app now has added Spring Training games (back to 2006) to check into. My only complaints are that I can’t access all of my photos on my phone; just a select few to add to those new checkins. Also, the app doesn’t post them in the order that I would like and it hasn’t updated all Spring Training Ballparks. Other than that, MUCH BETTER. I’ll go FOUR stars now!.Mackey SasserVersion: 9.8.0

Baseball Ballpark App SuggestionThere should always be any forms of medi shown posted on up here that would actually always be able to explain as specifically as possible about the reasons for why it is always as impo as ever nowadays m, today in general that all of these forms of media always make sure to explain the very best that they all ever could about always making sure that this type of app never,ever sets any sorts of limits to all that it could ever have shown on it. This meaning like the amounts of specialized types of fea that are ever installed into it that would actually allow any sorts of fans in general to actually be able to keep up with any types of teams in the sport of Baseball itself regardless of the types of teams that they all are. All of these types of things should all always make sure to include translating all of these types of features into as many different worldwide foreign languages as possible. Worth the wait!The Ballpark App has had quite a journey but seems to have reached a good level of stability and reliability (even with some teams not really using the technology as well as they could). The Check-In feature is FANTASTIC. You can go back and enter games from the past. The app does the hard work -looking up the details. I add a picture of my ticket stub for self-verification. So far I’ve entered games back to 1984. This feature should be highlighted much more! Of course, an “export” function would be a great add. Now, if you can get the MLB App folks to fix the stat look-up function, especially for historical players, my baseball game attendance would be much more enjoyable as I would have something else to do than watch the game (since “my” teams are the Tigers, Cubs, and Nationals). 🥸.Foobar3441Version: 11.2.0

First Purchase for 75 year oldNow that I have received the notification that my tickets were successfully purchased, I have suggestions to help with future purchasers: My notification of a receipt of purchase was eventually finding my tickets on the Ballpark app. I am used to receiving confirmation that my purchase has gone through and additional instructions if needed. I did not have my MLB/Ballpark app notifications enabled because I had never used it beforehand. I did not understand that my tickets would be delivered in this manner. I suggest that MLB should make instructions clearer for purchasers of any age or those of us who are not digitally savvy! Can’t access tickets on iPhone7 w/o IOS16They need to make the app accessible to people who don’t have IOS 16 or just make the app able to work no matter the time in general, I have an iPhone 7 and legitimately can’t use the app without a force update. No matter what I do it doesn’t go away when all I need is to scan my ticket. The fact this is the ONLY WAY I can use my ticket is absolutely atrocious. It’s physically impossible for me to get my ticket without this app, and I can’t update it. I need access to my tickets and I can’t do that without another phone. I don’t have another phone. Ballpark App Is Fantastic!I am a huge fan of the Ballpark App! The convenience of having all tickets located in one place when you travel for games and such is really awesome. Same with buying tickets for any team. As for the history of check ins and such, amazing! It super cool being able to see any game I’ve ever attended! I even went back and added every game I’ve ever been to! What a great collection of memories! If I could make a suggestion, it would be for the ability to go to the stadium history and see a breakdown of the games from that stadium and maybe more data about the stadium. My birthday presentI bought my ticket on Monday June 5 th my birthday. I met the most beautiful family who have had season passes for 40 years! The best seat in the stadium behind home plate, in the shade, and access to the Scout Club! I had the most wonderful time, autographs from 5 of the pitchers! Everyone helped me finding my seat, food, except this tall man inside the Reds Team Shop who made me get out of the store and get back in line and re-enter the stadium and rescan my ticket! That was the most traumatic unacceptable experience. I hope it never happens to anyone who goes by themselves to the Cincinnati Reds game . Buying ticketsI added tickets to my cart because I couldn’t seem to view all the details without doing that. Then my timeline ran out as I was researching all the other seat options and talking to my husband about options. We then decided to go ahead with those same tickets but it would not let me add them again even though it was showing the available. Why in the world could we not buy them if they are available? I could understand if someone else bought them in the meantime, but not the case. If for whatever reason you are unable to check in, there’s no possibility for you to log your attendance to the game. I understand and can appreciate how the app has shifted to a ticket-focused platform, but you have to let your users be able to log events the app may not have tracked. Is This Heaven?If you’re over, let’s say 50, the ticketing process seems like a pain in your batters box. However, once you master the account creation & I recommend writing down your password, your eligible for Cooperstown. The Ball Park App is meant to accept and transfer tickets all season long. Can’t access tickets over a week laterI bought my tickets over a week ago and they still say “Barcode not available” contact member service. I have emailed three times; I received two calls one day when I was in a meeting. The person said they would call me the following day. I never received a call. An incomplete app if there ever was one.I guess as apps go, this one provides a way to purchase parking & seats prior, which is handy, but why no Apple Pay option? Next, had to use the app to enter Dodger Stadium for the Elton John “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” show. Where is the map showing where our tickets are located? Or at minimum a map of Dodger Stadium so we could find our seats? Geez, frustration abounded with the people I spoke to because they were having the same issue. I mean sure, I could Google where my seats are at but then what value is the app proving other than a sales tool? Room For ImprovementThis app is great but there’s a few features I would love to see. The ballpark app should be about the ballpark experience. You should be able to do things like order food to your seat at a game, purchase memorabilia and apparel through the app, or even play trivia games that display in the Jumbotron for prizes. Simple things that can make going to a baseball game more fun. Everyone’s already on their phone why not get them off Instagram and in this app. You could have people earn points for purchasing tickets and apparel and reward them with various things. What a nightmare, bought tickets online and app was at fault.Bought my tickets a month early and they showed up in the app, even got a email the day before saying it was good to go on the ballpark app. Well before we drove an hour to the stadium I tried to log in and download them to my phone but my password wouldn’t work, no big deal, reset password but I never got my reset email so I called. They told me to go to the stadium that the reset can take 10-15 minutes just head to the stadium and if I didn’t get them by then just come to the box office. So after paying $25 to park and walking a mile to the stadium, still no reset so to the box office line I go. By this time it’s 30 minutes before the first pitch, spent a hour in line and in the end I was told I didn’t have seats even though I had a email with my seat assignment. The lady in the box office told me she couldn’t do anything and if I wanted to talk to a manager I had to go to the other side of the stadium to another box office. Went to the other side, manager looked at my seat assignment and printed my tickets and we went in, by the time we got a drink and snack, it was the 5th inning. Not a big deal, we only came for the food really but boy was it bad. Save your money and just try the French fries, he other stuff is crap. Even the Dr Pepper was flat and the souvenir cup was from last year. So now I’ve got a souvenir cup to remind me of the worst MLB experience and they even got that wrong..EY78Version: 12.1.7

Redeeming a voucher should be easierI purchased stocking stuffer vouchers for my sister. We were so excited to choose a game. In fact, we decided to bring my daughter along as well. She is ten, plays softball, and is becoming a huge Giants fan. I finally went to purchase tickets, and it was very difficult to access the vouchers. I expected them to be attached to my account in the MLB app. There may have been a way to access them, but I could not find them anywhere. I finally had to comb through old emails and hit the “redeem now” button through the email. After all that, I wasn’t able to purchase 3 tickets and use the partial credit of the vouchers. I expected to be able to apply the vouchers and pay the difference. Instead, I had to make a separate purchase which meant accessing the app again, logging in again (I think I ending up logging in 7-10 times during the entire process), and finding/choosing the correct seat to be included with our other seats. It was all very frustrating. We love going to Giants games. I think the stocking stuffer vouchers are an awesome deal! I just wish the purchase process was easier. Thank you for your time! No Guaranteed RefundI think it’s borderline criminal that you have to sell tickets through Seat Geek instead of getting a refund or selling them back to the team/stadium if you’re unable to go to the game. They’re my tickets, so I should be able to do whatever I want with them. Since you can only sell your tickets through Seat Geek, theres no real competition and you’re lucky if anyone buys your tickets at all, let alone get your money back. Even worse, the suggested price for your tickets on Seat Geek are a small fraction of what you paid, and that’s before they take their 10% cut if the tickets are sold (and they have the nerve to charge additional fees to the buyer). They wanted me to list my tickets that I paid $48 each for for $18 each! That’s a total ripoff. I bought a 3-game ticket pack before the season started, as I usually do. Now I will only buy my MLB tickets day-of or the day before at the earliest, if I purchase tickets at all, so that I won’t have to worry about illness or other responsibilities getting in the way of going to games. Because of MLB’s greed and Seat Geek’s monopoly on MLB ticket resales, I will go to fewer games, perhaps even no games at all. Very hard to activate if you have an existing accountI am a tech savvy millennial who has Purchased from mlb since 2010. Even for me, setting up this ap was difficult. I Never received reset password request, requested 5+ times, despite checking all folders. Eventually I tried to recreate my account under the same email, to just have password reset link finally come through after using the same email that was already used via mlb login for years. I Really dislike that you can no longer print tickets or email them. I Bought tickets for my 77 year old parents for Father’s Day and had to spend an hour on FaceTime helping them activate the ap to transfer tickets. MLB stadiums are cutting out a huge paying segment of the population only allowing admission via the ap. Boomers are a huge demographic that can afford these games. Making admission so difficult for them without leaving any type of method of ticket delivery is ageism. It nearly ruined our Father’s Day call making what should have been a fun gift stressful to receive. An actual scamPurchased tickets on seat geek for a game the day of. Whenever you purchase the tickets it says the tickets are “pending” and the seller needs to confirm, fine. But after, they say that the tickets are confirmed and send you an access link, which prompts you to download the app. Once in the app, there is literally no way to get these tickets. No amount of uninstalling and reinstalling, changing my password, or anything or the sort will make them appear. No one will answer the phone when you try to call customer service, and when they do they literally tell you to uninstall or change your password. I am out $65 which is completely fine I just would never attend another game, especially with the lack of understanding from customer service when this is a known issue. This app gets TERRIBLE reviews, why in the world is it the only way to get tickets? I am not spending more money on another ticket when my card was already charged for the first one. I don’t understand how they can charge my card when I do not have a ticket. Others have had the same issue. This app is horrible!!! Where are my tickets?!?I bought 10 tickets, set up the app, and my tickets are nowhere to be found! I’ve verified 3 email addresses 10 times, deleted and reinstalled the app, and they’re still nowhere to be found. I’ve tried to get them to register for over a month! I know my ticket sale went through because if I try to upgrade the tickets, it recognizes that I have 10 tickets to upgrade…. I also just got an email saying “Your tickets for tomorrow's game are in the MLB Ballpark app!” Further proof that my purchase went through… but still no tickets in the app! Customer Service was no help at all. After I answered their questions, they sent me back an email that said they would close my support ticket in 24 hours. Had trouble or setting up accountThe account creator for the app is broken. It didn’t accept a valid password. MLB’s chat assistant, even with a live human (supposedly) was garbage. The agent kept putting in responses that ignored what I said. She asked for the email tried to my account, I said I couldn’t create an account because I kept getting an unspecified error. The agent then sent a long list of questions, most of which I had already answered. Then the agent says “the email address you provided was not associated with an account”. I didn’t provide an email address because I don’t have an account. I do not think the agent was a human. I got a support number which didn’t go through until the third call. Minutes stuck in a phone tree, then I get a real human. She tells me I should sign up first on the browser, before going to the app. Then she says to try and add the @ symbol in front of my password, even though it explicitly says “no special characters”. That finally works. What a mess. It was not the agents fault. It’s MLB’s fault. Fix your app sign up tool. It is broken..Surgical2by4Version: 13.1.3

Very glitchy and unreliableFirst time I used the app for ticketing went very well. Second time was a nightmare. Purchased both a parking pass and two tickets. The app said I had three tickets - great - but when I went to access the tickets the only thing that would appear was my parking pass. Game tickets nowhere to be found. Tried multiple times to retrieve them - nothing. Got to the gate and the gate attendant wasn’t able to help either. Her manager had to walk us to the box office so they could try and retrieve our tickets out of the system. Couldn’t find them by my name or order number. Finally, once we produced the CC used to purchase the tickets, the agent was able to find them. By then, we had already missed some of the game. What if that card was not with us? They wouldn’t have found our tickets and we would have either had to be another pair - or wasted our money entirely, along with the game. Issue with selling ticketsI bought tickets for a game and was reminded a day later that there was a wedding already scheduled for that day. I went to try to sell the tickets and while I bought the tickets from you I suddenly found out I could sell them through you. Instead I was directed to Seat Geeks and was forced to use them. If you’re going to sell tickets then you should have a way for tickets purchased on your sight to be solid on your site. Navigation of your sight is real good to find tickets but now that I’ve listed my tickets to sell I guess I’m going to have to go to Seat Geeks to see the status, change sell price if desired, etc. Not cool. Not cool at all. I’ve bought several tickets from MLB Parks but in case I do something else like I did with the purchase of these tickets for the wrong day, I’ll be looking for another place to buy my tickets. The best scenario would be to exchange my tickets for another day but don’t know if that option exists. I got lazy using your sight. Where are my tickets?I wanted to buy tickets. I had the app but hadn’t used in a while so I had to reset my password. I reset, and then when I went to add tickets was prompted for my email and password again even though I was theoretically already logged on. When I entered my information, I got an error message saying that the credentials didn’t match. This happened twice. Then I called MLB customer service and spent at least 20 minutes on the phone with a person describing my issue and we uninstalled and reinstalled the app, changed password again, etc. it still didn’t work. The agent referred me to my local Houston Astros box office, saying that the ticketing account was separate. Then I called the Houston Astros box office and waited on the phone for at least an hour until I gave up and hang up the phone. I decided to create a new account with a different email account. I was hoping this would solve my issue. I was able to login and purchase tickets. Then I went to the app to sign in with my different email address. The tickets are not in the wallet in the app and are nowhere to be found. I have the email with the ticket information, but the tickets do not appear in the app which is where I need them so that I can enter the game. I remember this app being difficult to use in the past, but it seems like it’s worse now. I am beyond frustrated and can’t believe this is the way that one should buy tickets to all MLB games..G00d 5oupVersion: 10.2.0

Glitches affect very high stakes aspectsThis app would be great if it worked properly. I had checked in to 100 games over the past decade and that information was somehow lost between last year and this year. I submitted a help ticket and they offered no solution. Recently I went to enter a baseball game with tickets I had purchased. The game appeared in my tickets section but when I tried to access the tickets to scan them I got an error message about incorrect data. This was true for subsequent games as well. These are tickets purchased directly from the team as well as SeatGeek and TickPick. It’s clearly an MLB Ballpark app issue. I once again tried to submit a ticket and even talked with an agent on the phone who verified all my information was correct so didn’t know why there was an error. They referred me to the team I purchased them from. Luckily I was able to find a backup way to access my tickets since the error persists on this app. Do not rely on this app if you expect it to work..ChoidenVersion: 13.1.4

Terrible User ExperienceThis app is without exception, the worst app I've ever used. It almost never works. Takes forever to load. Tickets do not transfer to my Apple wallet. The system usually crashed when you're at the ball park waiting in line trying to get in. The app caches events and posts then above tickets to games regardless of event date. All in all, this app represents the worst component of being a baseball fan their is. Takes nearly 5 clicks just to open your tickets. Very difficult to use, my parents struggle with it and always ask me for help. Friends have not been able to get into games because the app does not work or load properly on their phones even with perfect wifi and network performance on the newest iPhone. Please MLB do something about this horrendous situation. Update - the developer responded to my review with a very generic, unhelpful response. RidiculousI’m completely done with going to Cardinals games all together. The hoops you have to jump through just to buy a ticket let alone the ridiculous amount of steps you have to go through to try, yes, try and retrieve them starting with having to download an app just to have a chance at actually see your ticket. My wife forwarded me tickets to one of the the Cardinals games to my email but no can’t get your tickets there. You have to download an app. So I did that. Tried to set up an account but it tells me there’s already an account under my email. I have no clue how that happened so I go through the process to change the password. Then when I open the app and try to log in; it tells me the email address and password doesn’t match. I’m done! I’m through! Not when I can sit home, watch it on TV and not spend a fortune on food and drink, parking and gas to get to the ballpark and back home. 😝.SnorebuttVersion: 10.5.0

Not all thatI thought it would be more helpful when actually at a game for my team’s home stadium. The first thing I was interested in was navigating the stadium itself, with maps and information useful for finding my seat, concession stands, bathrooms, etc. Then, what’s the best way to leave the stadium to get back to the parking lot I used. There’s almost none of that. The stuff that they did have was not easily recognized for what it was (due to lack of visual cues). The app needs to be more intuitive. The in app concession ordering seemed to have a very limited menu, pickup locations were inconvenient and I had little idea which ones were closest. Entertainment played at the stadium was available for voting in the app but I had to hunt for it. I don’t want to waste time becoming an expert on the app for the limited time at the stadium. Doesn’t even pretend to not be garbageThis app is unbelievably poorly designed. It forces you to log in whenever you want to do anything, which would be fine if it A. Saved your spot in what you’re trying to do so that you can continue without interruption and B. If it didn’t ask you log in every thirty seconds or whenever you clicked anything. This is terribly inconvenient because whenever you try to search for tickets it tells you to log in and then drops you randomly to wherever it feels like it within the app so that you lose your spot and have to start over again in what is an endless cycle. You can never manage to actually get what you want done, and to make matters worse you can’t even select your seats. It just kind of gives you whichever tickets it thinks are best for you based on arbitrary criteria. What a joke. App does not allow me to update the appPlease read this carefully and reply to me what you can do about the problem. The app will not update unless you have iOS 16 or later. What are the fan’s with an iPhone that does not have an update to iOS 16 supposed to do? We only have ios 15 until Apple gives us an option to update to iOS 16. iOS is the internal operating system for an iPhone and all Apple devices. I highly recommend making another ballpark App available for iOS earlier than 16, or do not make it mandatory to update the ballpark app. The ballpark App version in March 2023 worked fine for people that cannot put iOS 16 or above on their iPhone. I am asking customer service to get this information (Case) to the department that updates the ballpark App (Developers). Please do some research and forward this Case to the developers of the app. I don’t have an option to do that, I can only get to customer service and they don’t know what I am trying to get done. Read the ballpark App recent reviews, a lot of fans are deleting the ballpark App because the update doesn’t work on the iOS version they have on their phone. Cannot retrieve ticketsI purchased a 2024 season ticket as I have done since 1991. At the time of purchase the requirement was to have an iPhone 6 or higher. I currently have a iPhone 7 that cannot be upgraded to ios16 the current requirement for using the new updated Ballpark app. Consequently, I paid for tickets that I won’t be able to use because I can’t retrieve them. I called the Orioles office and they said they were aware of the problem and that other fans were having the same problem. The ballpark app was apparently updated with the new iOS requirement on March 15, 2024 less than two weeks before opening day. I have no idea what will happen next, but I am not in a position to buy a new phone at this time. Hopefully, MLB can find a fix so that fans can see the games the that they paid for last January. One Day Worked, The Next Didn'tMy phone has the latest update but it is an 11 pro that works fine. Is THAT the issue after the latest update? Luckily I shared the tickets to the Oriole game with my husband when the app worked several days before. The day of the game my app gave me an error when attempting to sign in with Face ID. I called customer service and THEY couldn't figure it out. There was no place I could even ask for a password reset. My only option was Log In to another account. I want MY account. I always have problems with the Ballpark App!Every time I buy tickets and need to log in to the Ballpark App to access my mobile game tickets, I have trouble even logging into the app. I always get an error message that says “Something went wrong trying to log in. Useless App- Don’t DownloadI bought tickets for multiple games and all of them have “Barcode not available, account restricted” It tells me I need to verify my email. I go to do that and it says my email is verified. I couldn’t get this to work and I’m sitting outside in 90 degree heat in the Bronx with 2 small children. Bad experienceLast year I took my dad who needs a stroller to get around to a Reds game and we sat in Bally sports club and we were able to park right under the stadium and take an elevator right where we had to go sit it was a very nice experience this year I took into a game was going to do the same thing but when we got down, there was unable to park under the stadium because you needed a yellow pass did not know we ended up having to park about two blocks away in a parking garage where the elevators did not work so he had a hard time getting up and down the stairs. I bought six tickets through SeatGeek, received my tickets in the MLB ballpark app, and then two days before the game one of my six tickets was recalled. A Really Frustrating AppI can understand how many Can think that this can be convenient. The problem is that this is the ONLY way to retrieve your tickets. There is no other option.
