Long time user reviewI have been incredibly active on AliExpress for over four years now. I buy hundreds of things on there per year. Understandably there is a lot of misconceptions of the app being similar to SHEIN, but it is not. Majority of the shops on AliExpress are small businesses. It’s easy to find handmade and original items, this includes stickers, keychains, home goods, clothing, etc.. This app has done nothing but improve dramatically over the last years. The feed of the app used to be pretty difficult to navigate, and the shipping options weren’t the best, neither were the prices. The quality of the products also was not as good. Overtime they’ve updated the app to be incredibly user friendly. My home feed is incredible and changes to what I’m searching for rather quickly. The shipping updates are incredibly thorough, and easy to track. Choice shipping has made this easier, although shipping times are still always very delayed for me. Even past a month. Refunds are given quickly if an item isn’t shipped in the time it is supposed to, but getting refunded on an item that you didn’t receive can prove difficult. Being an active member on AliExpress, you’d hope that you’d be heard more when you claim your package didn’t arrive, which happens once in a while. But unfortunately you only receive the refund about half of the time. Although this is an individual seller problem, it is a problem from AliExpress customer service as well. This Is The SourceI used to use another app to purchase a host of items but specifically for clothes (lingerie) for my significant other. While looking for a unique style outfit at a better price then what I found it for at a major primary Internet Retailer I stumbled upon this App. Not only did multiple stores offer it for significantly less then anyplace else, by accident while browsing the app I came across various items and gear that I could use for work. I immediately downloaded the app and purchased some Cutting Edge Tech items for work at 1/3 of the price point I was paying from my primary sources. It was the same brands, the same product, the same quality devices. They installed the same and we were able to have direct contact with the manufacturer!! It was a game changer for my company. At the price here I ended up with three units instead of one units. I eventually was able to outfit all of my company vehicles with the Same Thermal Imaging Systems. By doing this I was able to gain an advantage during our escort convoys and it has without a doubt saved lives in the long run by giving them better situational awareness and the ability to spot potential trouble ahead take initiative and control, turn the element of surprise and or avoid issues. Making it easier to shopI really like the AliExpress shopping app. I think it’s probably the best shopping app on the planet right now. I have ordered over a hundred things off this app and never had an issue with it freezing up or reloading while I’m in the middle of making a payment . I also noticed that I was able to update my payment information via the app. Before like last year whenever I purchased something and especially if I went thru the Ebates site first when I choose to continue to AliExpress and then my cart to pay for stuff I always had to enter in my card info everytime I purchased from different vendors, it was annoying. Recently I say around Nov or Dec 2018 I was able to update my card info on the app and it saved it so now it just makes shopping and purchasing stuff easy breezy. And when it comes to getting refunded money when you don’t receive an item I haven’t had a issue if it was within the timeframe. I ordered a phone case that doubled as a game and I knew it was gonna fake a month to get to me so I didn’t track it like that. But after that month I realized I had a few days before the time expired on when I could make a complaint. I spoke to the seller and they assured me that it would reach me. Unfortunately it never did and I couldn’t get my money back because time ran out. You really have to use better judgment/common sense on this site to make it work for you. Well, I really think about the AliExpress appI really like this app because I really like AliExpress. When using a smart phone you always want to be using the app because it’s so, so much easier. I know some people are afraid of purchasing from AliExpress and also from that other competing company, but the good far outweighs any bad. Usually, there is no bad. They also have a free return policy within 15 days I believe. I’m about to give that one a shot. While I have your attention. I’d like to tell you to think about getting a nice magnet and if you buy something with the stamp S925 on it and it doesn’t cling for life on the magnet, then it’s good. It’s the real deal. I was sold a 925 sterling silver necklace with the stamp and everything. That magnet sucked it right up. So that’s getting returned and refunded. One thing I do wish is that AliExpress would take something like this seriously and give a seller three chances and then they’re booted out. Just my opinion. Have a good day. Oh one other important thing. Sterling silver is not 100% sterling silver because it’s a soft metal. So depending on the little bits of other metals they use and it’s just a little bit, but depending on which metals they use that necklace might be a “tiny” bit attracted to a magnet. But it doesn’t attach itself like an octopus grabbing his prey. It just leans a little bit towards the magnet. The magnet is really good and the necklace is lightweight. Goods and the bad...I’ve been here for some months now with over 30 orders and I must say, I’m experiencing new errors with deliveries more often. AliExpress is an amazing marketplace with many store to choose from all with great prices and merchandise. One thing that isn’t fair, we are left alone as consumers and or customers to debate with the stores/sellers about any discrepancies in our purchases or deliveries. It’s very frustrating waiting days for a response from after sales techs and response teams. Most issues with purchases and deliveries come from bad communication between (site and seller,I assume). Ex: my last 2 orders have been split up and sent to different states! 1 was delivered to Louisiana and 2 was delivered to California. Now I’ve been waiting for 2 days for a response from both sellers. They post that you normally get a response within 24hrs but that hasn’t been true in many of my endeavors while using the app chat to communicate with the after sales reps. I wish there was a way to contact AliExpress instead of the sellers when this happens. Although compensation can be very costly,I do believe we as consumers deserve more for our loss. Our time and attention is money! We choose to spend it with you because we appreciate you and all that you provided and I’m just looking for the same in return. Eyebrow TatoosOkay Ladies! Hopefully you’ll run through different stores to try to decide which of the styles you need to choose okay? Now what I found out on my own is #1 I’ve been using these for now nearly a year, #2, you have to be creative when putting these on and taking them off. So, what I have learned is that I take a makeup sponge and dampen it with water (of course!) and dampen your own eyebrows with the the sponge (not too much water) then trim the tattoos and use the guide from the side that is NOT A TATTOO, after you have finished trimming them, take off the protective plastic and place the tattoo over your own eyebrow or wherever you want to place it...the little bit of water that you’ve dampened your own eyebrow, the tattoo ( I found out) should start sticking to the area and then take that sponge and moisten the paper of your tattoo (I personally use lukewarm water;) getting the paper wet should speed up the process., the paper should be ready to take off in like 30-45 seconds. Gently start removing the paper and Walla!!! Your tattoo is on and should last 2-3 days sometimes longer depending how rough you are with them or how many times you “accidentally 😉” scratch your brow or what ever! To soften up the shine, simply dust over the brow with translucent powder and that’ll go away! I absolutely have no eyebrows so I try to be gentle with them and I’m telling y’all!!! Ordering from AE for around 10 years!I’ve been ordering for over close to a decade and each time has been a wonderful experience. Any issues are usually cleared up by seller fast and without much fuss. Only had a few orders that were ridiculous and tiny such as stationery ephemera but that accounts for maybe 3 of thousands of items. I have no hesitation now to place orders, but do be sure to read the reviews. Sometimes you miss details that were overlooked or extra images were not shown on the listing. Huge tip: call your bank and do a prior authorization on this site so they don’t flag and refuse orders and or close your account down. I had to verify each order I had made that first time and then place a standing order so now it is no issue at all to place orders at all times. Tracking is impressive with alerts of shipping, customs, eta for delivery and when it’s at the home sorting facility that will make final delivery plus a delivery confirmation on the app and in an email. Tip 2…. Always follow stores you like to get an additional dollar off an order and to add coupons. There are often buy $x amount and get free shipping and buy increments and get $1-20 off orders. Use that to save even more. Love itI signed up for awhile but since I have restarted and really purchased items in Jan 2019 I think i have become addicted. I go daily to earn coins n peep at deals. The app is easy to use, group what I like, answer other customer questions about items you have purchased, messaging sellers (and they reply) filters if you wanna look for less pricey items; sort, select and buy items in the cart ( unlike another app that I used once and was not impressed) and I just LOVE the image search. I can screen shot or take a pic of anything anywhere n search on the app. I can compare prices with other major websites(you know which one lol) Look at reviews. Only thing is I wish it was mandatory for all Seller’s to have reviews. Some of the sellers don’t have a review section and it makes me very suspicious of purchasing the item. I wish when I use the image search I can filter as well but I haven’t seen that option BIG IDEA HERE TO CONSIDER. I have not encountered any problems as yet as to not receiving any packages to know how buyer protection works and refunds, which I really hope would be smooth. Customer support was pretty helpful, even used emojis (lol) and even when I had problems with the translation they were pretty patient. I love that Ali delivers to Barbados at very cheap shipping prices or even FREE shipping. Even if it takes longer than normal, some items are shipped so fast!! it can be compared to the same time as when I purchase from the US. Tamara Himes ordersMy hoodies were all nice i worry two may be small but I won’t know till Christmas. Nightgown was to small and not what I order style was wrong so I got refund. Pokémon tin I never got ask for refund cause box of cards were open bent were smashed they had moisture in the wrap. I ask for tin with refund and you only gave me some of my money back instead of making my order right by sending the tins I ordered these were gifts . The book and tins w/cards were for my boys. I still needed to order 5 books . Great Deals, great Products, great prices!I’ve been with AliExpress for many years, I’ve made thousands of small purchases and only had a few minor issues, which were resolved right away with refund, partial refund or exchange! I still shop here and still find great items!! Shipping times have improved very much, doesn’t take months anymore as it used to be, now it’s only 2-3 weeks! Of course it all depends on which store I buy from! Always check the reviews before purchasing, always check % of positive feedback from buyers! Never buy under 95%, lower numbers means not trustworthy! But then we all learn the hard way, so did I!! I’ve purchased clothes, which is hard to do because the material is hard to tell in a picture! Blouses are usual very thin material, not worth the money, BUT the lined leggings were worth every Penny!! Make sure you hand measure your body and don’t guess!! Compare items from here with google, certain things might be cheaper there, mostly not! Do your research but great venders are availableI’ve been shopping with Ali for over 8 years and I’ve had some bad experiences but very few. I’ve gotten great vendors to do business with!! Do your research and don’t just look for the best pictures especially when it comes to beauty products!!! A lot of the pictures are circulating from different websites and they are misleading!! You can ask for samples but that definitely doesn’t always mean you’re going to get that product they sent. Read the last few months of reviews and check out the pictures on that particular vendor. They always ask you to take a picture of the product and upload it so they can get a really great review and it drives business their way!! This is also a way to get some of your money back a few bucks like 20-30 dollars for your review and pictures. If you don’t like the product let them know immediately and try to work things out without having to file a dispute. Reason why, simply put you’re most likely going to be back and forth and if you don’t have sold proof that the product is bad or the company has a reputation for selling bad product you’re not gonna win that dispute and if you do it’s not gonna be what you paid for that product. Good but not greatSome products quality are questionable in the picture they look that it will be a great product but when you get it you could see that the material are very cheap and very bad quality. Very impressedI’ve heard some horror stories about different overseas sellers/companies like these , But I’m really impressed with this company , I’ve ordered many things since last November 2022 when I thought I’d give this company a try , I bought a range of different things during holiday season from make up to shoes as gifts and I have always gotten the packages either ahead of time or when it was expected, I’ve never had any problems , I only had one issue with a seller , I never got the item , the seller wasn’t really responding to my messages , but AliExpress stepped in and I got my refund ASAP, So this company does look out for their customers, That to me is very big when it comes to shopping online , cos no one wants a hassle when spending money and buying online . The prices are great ! Can really save money , the products ( I’ve ordered) are true to description, they are not knock offs , the make ups I’ve bought have always been factory sealed, There are a lot of stuff you can’t find in the states that you can order on this APP, Plus they are a ton cheaper in cost if you do find them being sold in the states . Aliexpress was amazing until…I have been a customer for years. I love the variety of things I can get for a reasonable price on here. I very rarely have issues, and when I do, Aliexpress has been good about giving refunds… until this latest time. I was literally told by the store I bought an item from to file for a refund because they forgot to pack one of the items I ordered. I have now been denied for a refund THREE times, despite providing the messages from the seller. This is extremely frustrating for me, as it seems they are not even reading why I want this refund as I have admission from the seller provided to them. The fact that this has become such a fight is making me weary of placing more orders. I should not have to put this much time into $3+ worth of product. Aliexpress needs to improve their customer service dramatically, or they’ll lose me as a customer, and I’m sure many others. EDIT: I finally got my money back. I’m a bit annoyed I had to dispute it so many times when I had solid evidence, but at least it’s over now. OK app, but this is because average store shopping became so much worseThere are few things that I definitely don’t appreciate in shopping apps: Item photo pictures one product, but price is for another, different or smallest option. Like showing a set of 64 fishing lures priced 5$. Not until you click and research product options you realise that you had been tricked. For 5$ there is 3-piece set; the one pictured in the posting is 30$. May be it is a common and acceptable trickery in China, but no respectable store should allow it, in my opinion. Every online store must ensure that price shown corresponds to pictured option. Impossible to sort by price for very same product. Multiple sellers offer exactly same thing, at very different prices. Some items on featured sales priced higher than regular price from another vendor. You never sure if you get good or best deal. Takes a lot of time to manually sift through thousands of items. Would be great to have more consistent catalog regardless of seller. Unpredictable (for me) behaviour: sometimes I can add products to shopping cart; sometimes I can only ‘purchase now’ - no shopping card option. Sometimes price in shopping card is different than when I saw and selected it. Then, there are subsets of special offers that you have to select 3 or more… running in parallel with your Shopping Cart and BuyNow items… Confusing and discouraging experience..B_K_LVersion: 8.96.1

It’s like Christmas everyday!I can wait to get to my mailbox to see what has come today. I am a diamond member, I suggest start out slow so you learn how this app works. Learn how to go to the store itself and look at its rating. I only order from stores that rate a 4.8 or above. Look at the pictures that the customers post in the ratings and read what they say. Shipping is long if it’s free and sometimes is not tracked. Pay for better shipping methods if you can. Read the description and the specifications!! The pictures are deceiving, it looks like you get hundreds, and then receive 5. Contact the store owner if you have questions they are extremely helpful and can customize your order at times. If you receive something in error, which is rare, contact the seller first, do not file a dispute unless they don’t respond. Coupons can be applied, they are hard to figure out sometimes. Get used to using your account. You must confirm your orders when you receive them. I like reviewing what I have received and take pictures when I can so other shoppers can see what you actually get. I have ordered from hundreds of stores and have had only 2 errors!! My orders are usually for crafting. Be careful with sizes, they usually run small. Electronics are probably a risky purchase. Best advice: Read the specifications! Read the descriptions!! Have fun receiving Christmas every day! UPDATE: I started ordering again as I had stopped during Covid. My orders are arriving in the USA in 2-3 weeks! This is the fastest shipping I’ve ever received, I usually use AliExpress Shipping so I can track it and get it fast. From 2 stars to 1My final thoughts, you can grab some incredible deals on here, but buyer beware: the only guaranteed buyer protection comes from an automated system, i.e. the $1 coupon if delivered late and automatic refunds if not shipped within 14 days or received 30 days after shipping. Outside of this automatic automated system, it becomes strictly a seller protection program in which they will ask you to jump through hoops and still deny your claim. What is not proof of claim to AliExpress( photos of empty parcel delivered in special USPS “We Care” bag and official USPS printout of package specifics including item weight (.63oz btw) as requested as requested by Ali within 72hrs or in my case December 24-26) is sufficient evidence for PayPal. The refund money most certainly wasn’t worth the hassle. I did it for the same reason I write this review, principle… I don’t expect anyone to avoid AliExpress because of this review, I just want to let you what you should expect so maybe you won’t feel obligated to waste your time and energy trying for a refund that you know you deserve. Just chalk that loss up to the game and carry on. Things to consider, their dollar deals( things shipped from within the US) are probably of decent quality (inexpensive charge cables excluded!) I was always pleased with the quality of item received, minus any charge cable. If they’re willing to pre ship it, they believe in the product or they just believe it’ll sell regardless. Ali Express ReviewI’m not complaining at all, it may sound like I am but I just want to be very clear on what the negative sides are of the website. This is just my opinion and I’m a nobody, so it probably won’t matter but I’m gonna write it anyway. All the games and points and coins ect. All that side stuff it’s distracting I came to shop for stuff not water a tree for coins… it takes the attention away from why we are here. The bets on soccer…? What is that and why is it there?… again I came to shop… not place a bet.. what if someone is in recovery from a gambling addiction they go to shop a bam! In your face “place a bet” in my opinion it’s unnecessary and makes it so there is way to much going on. The site is to busy with to many different activities other than shopping.. this is a large reason why I use Temu to stock my store… its not so crowded easier to navigate and find the options I need to manage my orders.. on here I’m still haven’t found the create a return option.. when you make it difficult to find basic options like returns or to manage my orders or cancel in order it does not stop me from doing it. It just makes me more frustrated that it’s so difficult so it’s probably better not to hide those options because it’s not gonna deter somebody who determined to make a return. Great Shopping AppMany different items and products that are offered. If you plan on purchase items Please use AliPay, AliExpress will ensure that product(s) that are purchased are as described and shipped in proper form, in quality and customer satisfaction, they will NOT release the monies paid to the Seller/Vendor(s) until the Customer is satisfied with all concerns regarding products purchased and guarantees, and also submit by pressing the CONFIRMS button which is when you as a customer gives AliExpress the go ahead to release the monies to the Seller/Vendor The only problem is that: Many Sellers/Vendor DO NOT include installation instructions and/or Product DIRECTIONS , for some reason I’ve noticed this with a high volume of overseas products. So if you need to have the proper information you will have to asks for this information from the Store you purchased your items from, which I strongly believe should be a Set Standard Procedure by AliExpress also the Shipping Packaging should also Standardized. Overall AliExpress has done a TERRIFIC JOB ensuring that the Customer is being Properly Serviced in mostly all aspects of their overall online shopping experience. Great site good priducts awesome serviceSince using the same, I have had no issues at but one item and 2 delays in only 1 month out of over a year w them. everything has come in relatively on time if not at the minimum and compensation has always been on point based on there information. Only issue is packaging potential being a fixable area to critique on but still. 99% of all sales are and were good or great. The few issues resolved fast, refunds or otherwise. Customer service is set up very clean. The point program helps but it is crappy you can’t use a % or all of it ever . It’s only $1 max 1pt= 1penny but it adds fast. Plus amazing sales pop up and I noticed in cart it categorizes based off shipping cost items or $10+ free shipping items , so definitely watch that and look at the 1000+ item u want for best price and to find the ones w free shipping if needed or visaversa. But I love it im addicted. Mainly pins and silly merch but they have slot of needs to get in life not just wants but I love my silly sonic/mario/aliceinwonderland games or cartoon stuff. Great app/Great sellersI love the site because I can buy new creative things to keep me inspired for a fraction of the price that I could get anything like it in the US. The prices have gone up since I first started using this site a few years ago, but I still find some wonderful deals. In recent months, shipping speed has really picked up and I am feeling more confident now with ordering from Ali express. They started a new combined shipping thing if you order things from different sellers and I don’t know what the number is on when they combine them. Maybe it’s five or 10? I’m not sure. Anyway, it is faster with combine shipping and really nice to receive everything in one order instead of one teeny packet at a time. The biggest downside of the is, if you don’t have any proof that all the items were not in your packet, they do not want to refund you. This happens periodically for sure. It makes you lose trust in the company because you’re supposed to prove that you didn’t get a certain item. You can’t prove it wasn’t there. I had a couple sellers that worked with me that sent me either the item or a different item if they didn’t have it, even though technically Ali Express wasn’t going to require it and denied my disputes..GyosyjeriVersion: 8.67.0

Good app but...It’s a great app and a great place to shop but not all sellers are cooperative. I just had a seller June electronicity/Junnuo tech. Store took their time getting back to me and was slowly helping me. It was like they were stretching the return limit so you’d end up with a faulty product. Then after I told them what was wrong and sent a video of the obnoxious noise it was making. They told me that “ it’s a normal sound my friend” which wasn’t supposed to sound like that at all, so they will give faulty advice as well. Very sneaky and unscrupulous. Many other seller have done the same or had another tactic. But I had no idea that 15days after you get product there’s no return etc. the seller was being politely unhelpful and ended up with a brand new product that runs like it is 15yrs old. They wouldn’t help and was being childish. This was just my last mishap with a seller I’ve lost so much money on this site it’s sad. I would highly recommend only buying once and a while when they have better prices or sales. But I would suggest you just go to eBay cause same sellers but they have to follow American rules and policies. So be very careful there are good sellers that don’t try to trick you but there are very unscrupulous sellers on this site as I imagine they did this to just me I’m sure they tricked others as well. Be diligent in your researchThe old saying is true that if it seems too good to be true then usually it is. I have doubt that this app is no exception. There are a few things that I have received and found them to be a good bargain. But oftentimes in order to get decent items, you’re paying close to what you would in a store near you. I’ve found that often times companies will take pictures very close up to an object to make it appear larger than it is so when you receive it you are really aggravated that it is so small. No wonder it was so cheap. And finally, I’ve found that there are shops you must watch out for because they have marketed something as theirs only to find out they have stolen it from another artist in another part of the world and there’s not a whole lot that can be done about it. But I can’t help but laugh at the USA when they outsource their products to make a bigger profit because all they have done is given the opponent their secrets and they just produce it under their name and make them a competitor. I used to like this app but I’m not near as fond of it as I once was. Also, I’ve had to file a lot more disputes because of either not getting something or getting a defective product. Finally, the shipping has become much more expensive in the past six months. You have to be careful of that now. My favorite app!I LOVE AliExpress! When I come across anything I like on other shopping sites, I always check AliExpress and usually find the same item or something so similar that any difference(s) is so minor that it’s unimportant. And the items on AE’s app are usually a far better price. I’m a visual artist and crafter and, if I can wait out the delivery time (which is sometimes only 2-4 weeks, but usually 1-1/2 to 2 months), I’ve found countless fabulous deals on supplies, tools, even DIY project kits. I’ve also been able to create an awesome wardrobe of stylish, cutting-edge clothing, shoes, accessories and costume jewelry, for remarkably affordable prices. I really needed to fashionably express myself after turning 40 and going through a divorce a few years back, and have been able to do so without wasting my money on fast fashion, fads or boring “middle-aged lady” clothes. They have “middle-aged lady” clothes if that’s what you want, but the possibilities are endless. And the app is so user-friendly. Very great app!I was a little skeptical about Aliexpress before i started buying, but let me tell you, Aliexpress is definitely worth a try! Now most of the sellers on Aliexpress are from China or out of country, so i would not go to them if you need your package in a speedy fast hurry, but if your just a heavy shopper like me and forget you buy things when you buy them (lol) packages are always a surprise! on most orders, the estimated shipping say around 89 days, but so far i have placed 14 orders in the past week or 2, and three of them have come in wayyyy before estimated delivery. I really like their cart feature, where you can buy one item at a time, or select only the items you want to buy in that purchase. i find it very convenient because on most apps you have to place orders altogether, but with Aliexpress you can pick and choose which items you want to buy. They have feeds where you can check out other people’s reviews about other products, based on the things you’ve liked, wishlisted, added to your cart, or searched up which, to me, is a very nice concept. Great savings on carbon bicycle partsI recently started using AliExpress for name brand bicycle parts at a great price. So far I’ve received everything I’ve purchased from this website. Most everything comes from China so there’s an extra wait time to receive stuff. If you use the mobile app you sometimes can save a little extra then using the website. You’ll be amazed how much you can save from buying from China. Lots of things are brand name items and the items that aren’t brand the quality is real good. Most everything you buy in the US comes from Asia anyway. You just cut out the middleman. AliExpress is easy to use. Best app for shopping inexpensivelyI’ve had this app for a few years now and have rated it 5 because of service I have received . I have got many quality items for a fraction of the price I would have normally paid for great useful items. I’ve ordered from almost every category . I will say shipping time is usually 3 weeks but most of the time I get great sellers who ship in 2 via AliExpress shipping. I have had a few items be a bust for pictures didn’t match what was sent so I always look at feedback before purchasing. Overall if your mindful of asking questions and looking at feedback you will get exactly what’s pictured when you are patient and do your homework. Sometimes confusingThere are a lot of sales and the discount coupons are very confusing. I collect a lot of points but don’t use them too much. You never know if you have the one for the store you want. I usually just don’t buy things because of that. The coupon plus a 0.01 sales items appear to start at 2 AM here. Needless to say I never get any of them. I guess they aren’t meant for the customers on the east coast or mid western states of the US. It’s the middle of the night here. There is also a problem with items advertising one thing and when you get to the page it’s three or 4 times more expensive for that item. You get a much smaller , scaled down item for the advertised price. Also they will call it cashmere and then when you get to the site and check the specs it says polyester. So I don’t buy that either. That’s illegal in the US. It’s called bait and switch. I’ll go find it elsewhere. It may cost a little bit more but I know for sure what I’m getting. Get amazing things for less priceAfter my legs giving out on me and having to go on state disability, I have found using this site I can still get things that are nice and work at a fraction of the cost if got it locally in my area or online. Love AliExpressUpdate 12/23: Shipment tracking is horrible. Items consistently show as delivered in one location and undelivered in another. What do we believe? And how can we know when to report a missing package? AliExpress has many sellers who sell exactly what is shown. Some sellers do not and they represent products poorly. The app need A LOT of work and is not very intuitive for the user, especially when you need to return or go through their 'dispute' process. And the tracking updates are awful. Needs Loads of workHi, if your looking for honest reviews for the app this is the one. I’ll start with the positive, the app itself is free, and the items sold on the app are also free. They give you a good deal when you fist join, your first order guarantied to be 0.99$. There are unlimited items available and some are cheap in deals. However, the app itself has a lot of work to do. Starting with the delivery process, its very secretive on where your package is, only telling you things on the lines of where it is, and when it arrives, no details on exact timing or what local shipping company there at. Also the delivery itself is always guarantied to be waaaay later than when the original delivery day is due for your package to show up. For refunds, if your having an error tracking your package or it just never arrives then most the time you never get your refund, it will simply tell you to wait till its delivered to your door or after the 30 day marking, which also doesn’t work, meaning if your packages get stolen or never arrives there is no guarantied refund. Iv ordered items on this app very limitedly as it’s not a solid app to trust. Also, the reviews on some of these items are ether bot accounts or fakes, there will be real images and all but whatever you buy never comes the way it’s portrayed in the picture or in the bio of said item. Unfulfilled promisesI’ve been ordering from AliExpress for about a year. The first order of one high price item ($70+) was great. The second order of a few small items was great. But with each new order, there is less communication. I have had to reorder identical products from a different online retailer multiple times because the AliExpress order appears to be lost. As of this moment, more than half the orders I have pending have been sitting at a local delivery center without any further updates for more than six days. As these are Choice items, I will supposedly receive a refund if they take longer than 30 days to arrive. In the past the item is in transit and then gets stuck somewhere for over three weeks, then magically starts to move again on day 29 or 30. It gets delivered by day 31 or 32 so the refund for the delay is denied. I’ll receive coupons for some of the delayed items but only for the first 1-2 days despite the item being delayed for a much longer timeframe. I’m never notified of the delay or new anticipated delivery date; the coupon notification just shows up in my email. That’s how I find out. I have never been able to utilize these coupons either. Poor service, glitchy and hard to searchCustomer service is useless. You spend an hour in chat just for them to escalate it (chat reps don’t have power to do anything). Half the time you get a generic irrelevant response in the escalation email and have to start all over or just give up (and be out the money for the damaged or incorrect item). Even with a few non-refunded products, it’s still cheaper overall than purchasing elsewhere. The prices are usually great especially with coupons. SCAM!Ali Express 100% defrauded me. I ordered 8-9 items from 4-5 different stores. Ali Express took my order, my $, confirmed all my info, and then provided the stores with a COMPLETELY FICTITIOUS ADDRESS (but correct ZIP) that I never entered and which NEVER appeared anywhere within the app interface. The purported items were mailed to the fictions address, but since it is not an actual location in this universe, the local post office had no way to hold the package or identify me. Vendors Need a lesson in AccountabilityMost of what they sell is just ok. It’s what you’d expect when buying directly from China. But what this app really needs to enforce is vendor accountability. Example: an item gets shipped out, but both the seller and buyer can see that for MONTHS no tracking information is updated. Not even once. There should be no reason for the BUYER to have to file for dispute to get their money back. If tracking info hasn’t updated after a given time, it should just get canceled and refunded. NEVER Will Purchase From Them AgainI was purchasing loads of products from AliExpress before I realized there are multiple problems with about 75% of the orders you receive. But what completely ruined it for me is when I was very clearly scammed by a seller. The seller had two stores from which I ordered 4 products from one store and two from another. They switched the tracking numbers so it appeared as if I received all my orders when in reality I received only four and the other two the seller pocketed my money. When I questioned the seller after the false delivery, they promised to ship my items asap as “production” had just been finished on them. I applied for a refund for an item I didn’t receive and was stolen fromI over the past month and a half have been waiting for 3 items to get shipped to me, 2 out of 3 items were delivered. The worst return policy of any marketplace I know.I used to use this app a lot, but it looks like I’ll stop ordering anything through this application and marketplace because the return policy is extremely unfair. When you place an order, it says you have 15 days for a free return if you don’t like the item. But that’s not true. When you request a return label, they usually charge you a $7.99 shipping fee.
