For kids who would rather prefer do anything but math this is an amazing /easy and short practice setting on the ipad... kids don’t even feel like this is homework, and the constant encouragement is so motivating. it is not tooo long and easy for them to do. the fact that it tracks the progress motivates them even further. My Kindergarten daughter has completed 98% of her weekly goal while the 1st grader did 125% of her goal, so they were comparing their accomplishments. the older one was happy that she has done above and beyond without even feeling it... while the little one wants to do just a little bit more to meet her goal :))) win win for all.

I contacted splash math support, but they are not responding.🤨 I had already Pat for 3 months. Which is ok because I wanted the app for my kids. But when I try to download it to a different device, it won’t let me. The dum, message just keeps popping everytime. sorry we are just not resfy for you yet!!. What does that eve mean???! Please help, this is very frustrating. I purchased this app because I want my kids to learn, since schools were shut off. Need to address this. If not I want my money back so I can search another app for learning, for my kids.

I would have given this site 5/5 except for the fact that no examples are even give so the child knows what is being asked of them. Typically if my daughter gets a couple wrong she comes to me for help understanding what she is doing wrong. I think an example would be helpful and possibly eliminate the errors my daughter makes in the first place. The report cards are an added bonus to see how she is doing every week. We love the variety of different math skills and look forward to utilizing this site. Thanks for such an awesome educational app.

I have seen my sons achievement levels double in the 3 months he has been using this app 45-60 minutes a week. The results were measurable being reflected in his mid term report card from school ! Well worth the $10 a month investment in my opinion even if your child is an Einstein. It keeps things fresh in their heads and always a step or two ahead of the class at school.

This is by far one of the best apps out there. If used correctly will enable your son/daughter to excel in math. My son started using this app in kindergarten after he struggled understanding math and is now a A honor roll student in 4th grade. Highly recommend this app for any student. I suggest you keep a schedule and stick to it when you use the app. Since he has maintained an A average, he has since stopped using the app. My biggest issue is trying to cancel his subscription. Please advise on how to cancel his subscription, because there is no button to do so.

I really love splash math because it helps me do math I love because it how do you move up and I don’t get a great job for my little brother have a great day can you tell me to 11 and elephant rack and I love the jungle one I love the fiery one with the animals and I love the aquarium Yes girl elephants

My 4 year old has learned a lot. He has done the first few levels of the Kindergarten and is acing most of it. Super impressed. He thinks it's fun and it's building his confidence because every time he gets one right it praises him and he thinks he's smart! (And he is) :-)

Even though it is not an option I would be happy with the stars because I have to buy a few stars and u ur uyuiu y to see the other stars and stars because I 💅

My parents taught me with this when i was little and I think all homeschooled kids should experience this, 5 stars

My 7 year old daughter enjoys playing on the iPad, she is more than happy to "play her splash math game" and the bonus is that she is learning. It helps her stay ahead of her class at school.

I am on level 3 for the money I love the game make more games hard to play and when you go to level 100 that's when you win the hole game.

So I love this app so much and I shared it with all my family and friends it made my kids learn a lot and now there good at school! All they get r A’s in math thanks so much god bless u all!

Our daughter has had a little trouble in a couple areas at school. This app is saving our sanity! We are very pleased with how it matches up with he4 curriculum.

I really wish prices were listed on description page. This app came up in the top of the list when I searched ‘free first grade math games.’

My daughters math “score”from the school not only did not dip but rose over the summer - her second grade teacher wanted to know what we did!

My son willingly plays this nightly. He tends to fuss at anything math related but this has made math fun. We started a grade back to build the foundation skills he was lacking. This is worth every penny!

Whenever my daughter needs more practice with her math skills, we always use splash math. It is great to reinforce homework practice.

Love this app, my daughter is improving in math by the moment. Need Canadian options though due money and measurements or the ability to remove those as part of the overall program. Wish I could figure out how to specifically start up the ones she hasn’t done yet/mastered? Perhaps it is there but I can’t find it.

This is such a great app my child is in preschool and is learning so much and is enjoying learning at the kindergarten levels.

Great practice if you buy it. My kids love it and gets them into math and technology without even knowing it is educational. Great supplement to school math and helps build confidence.

This is a well thought out math app that really gets my son to practice as he is having so much fun. I love that even for very basic grade one addition there is so much variety in how the questions are asked or laid out: from fill in the answer, to using a number line to figure it out, to using counters to figure out what you are looking at. My son is also enjoying earning stars and rewards.

We love the app and the team helps us to solve the problem right the way. Sorry for my son’s previous review. It’s the best math app that you can get.

Great for all ages

My 6-year old daughter loves using this app to practise math. The new interface is awesome, adding more fun factor to the app. However, the app has a few minor issues: 1. The line chart for Splash Score is not working anymore since the recent app update. 2. The usage statistics showed on my iPad are slightly different from those showed on the Splash Math website. The app is not synced properly with the website. 3. It is not clear that the app actually adjusts the difficult level automatically in response to the user’s skill level. Hope the developer can fix these issues.

I love how comprehensive this app is. It covers all of the outcomes for each grade in a way that makes kids think they are playing a game. They don't even realize how much practice they are getting! I don't love the way that only one child can use the multiple grade version,however. I preferred the old way that they had it set up.

Our 6 and 8 year old girls love this AP.

My kids love this app and have benefited from it greatly. They love that they can build up coins for their aquarium. As a teacher and parent, I highly recommend it.

This app is amazing. My almost 5 year old loves earning new animals for her jungle and she's really learning math!!! Wish the app wouldn't just crash in the middle of a lesson though.

I bought this at the beginning of Covid and paid for the subscription trial for my 5/6year olds. Immediately we decided we did not want this and tried to cancel. To cancel the subscription is still unknown to me how to do it. It doesn’t show up in Apple ID App Store subscriptions. Parents supposedly have to have their own app of this in order to cancel. But even having the app on my devices I cannot cancel. They make you write 50 characters of why you are canceling and only then can you try to cancel subscription, but the link to cancel brings you to an errored page in safari. It’s a total scam and I have emails with the company to prove it. I have written customer support and they say they cannot cancel and that I must do it. I deleted this app from all of our devices the day I downloaded and subscribed because of the inability to cancel and like other scam apps my kids have downloaded the only way to stop the charges was to delete the app. Not so with this scam of a company even deleting the app you are stuck. This company is a total scam praying on parents looking out for their children in a difficult time. I’m going to be charged this month for the 3rd time from this fraud of a company. I hope a class action lawsuit takes these scumbags out. I have plenty of emails showing my communication with them trying to get my subscription canceled (even several with “the co-founder Umang” that I wish I could attach to this review. I hope these people go to jail.

I owned several of this company’s apps outright back in 2012 or 2013 and would love to access them because I still work with kids in this age range- none of my purchases are recognized somehow perhaps because I never signed up via the current sign up methods required? I have tried my regular email, my work email, and other logins. Perhaps it was tied to an old email I no longer have/am locked out of? I really have no interest in jumping through more hoops, but I will put in my two cents. Please allow users to BUY INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES…say 99 cents a game…forever. I would be interested in just repurchasing what I actually want access to, anyway. I will never be interested in your subscription plans but I would love to buy a few activities here are there. Not everybody wants 100 different activities, or books that require internet access. It’s overkill and a waste of money for someone who just wants to pick and chose what is most valuable for their very needs.

I got charged 80 bucks! Beware! Your trial period starts the minute you download this app and they will charge you with no warning if you don’t read all of the fine print! This app IS NOT FREE as it is advertised. It is anywhere from 30-80 dollars and there is NO FREE VERSION. If you download this you will be charged the highest price within three days UNLESS YOU CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION!!!! Having said that, my daughter liked it but because of the shady business practice we won’t ever use any of their products ever again. I cancelled my subscription. But they didn't cancel it for the present. They cancelled it for the end of the subscription term. And now they keep trying to take money. Not sure how I stop them at this point so I have cancelled my card and I guess I don't get to use the app store anymore.

This app is terrible. It lets you play for just a few minutes before it wants a subscription and in my opinion as a teacher is not worth the amount of money for the cost. There are much better games and apps out there for lower subscription prices. I also think for teachers things like this should be free. My kids need extra practice, I'm already purchasing my own iPads for my classroom and now to add on the apps for them is costing me a fortune. This app isn't worth the subscription prices!

My first grader likes this app and I think the app is nicely designed. I would like to see more questions differently formulated instead of asking the same question 50 times. The app also lacks questions as a written question as well. Most questions are in shape or graphically designed. The main problem with this app is that it doesn’t have a learning mode. Overall good, but needs lots of work.

The game itself if really good if your trying to teach you children.. but, after 2 GAMeS, you must pay! To continue learning l- and it not worth som $30-40$ just for a week or month to learn a FEW games in here so yeah-, but ofc you can learn, play, and do other fun stuff 😃 but I would not recommend it, instead I would recommend IXL learning, unlike this OVERPRICED game, IXL actually teaches your kids for a affordable price, so yeah byeeee ❤️❤️

Splash Math grade1 is not working some is really wrong 😤 my daughter did so many questions but it will not let her go up. Also this question asked her “which number is higher” the wanders were: 671, 178 , 437 , and 822 and she obviously picked 822 but then it marked her wrong and it said “the correct answer is 437” then it would not let her PLAY in the zoo and the aquarium.😠so I download it for nothing. Really mad they said they won’t give me my money back

I was looking for a new educational game for my child who is going into first grade. Somehow these games have reviews of “000s of users” and at least 4.5 stars. In actuality, once you download a game, you are immediately invited to pay $80 a year. And I downloaded a bundle of four games. My child got to play one level of reading and math, and everything else was locked. This is a ridiculous scam, don’t do it.

My child enjoys splash math but it looks forward more to your reward system of giving an animal etc and now he is less interested in the math exercises. I wish your reward system was just stars. The game piece is unnecessary when there are so many games out there already.

I would have given it five stars if it was free. The second I downloaded the game, it said it was free then as we began to use the app after the first round it asked for money to continue; as if the first round was only a sample it wasn’t even five minutes of me using the app. Not worth the lies!

My daughter spent more time playing with the “rewards” and never gained any mastery or skill from this. Honestly- 5 minutes using flash cards was 100x more effective and cheaper. This was hard to cancel, and even after I went through iTunes and managed my subscriptions they continued to charge me. It was horrible. And yes, I did it properly.

This app has one really annoying bug, when doing addition there is a question for NaN+Nan = NaN but it always marks the question as wrong. I reached out to the developer about about 2 months ago yet it hasn’t been resolved.

I did not order this. It automatically starts a paid subscription after the free trial. Two months later and still no refund. By the way Apple does not courtesy copy you on your correspondence when you use their required online form. It is two months later and I would still like my refund.

I’m trying to cancel my subscription and it keeps routing me back to the home page. I’ve done it 15 times and the same thing happens. I’m giving a bad review because of the runaround I am having With canceling my subscription. As for content, it’s alright. There’s better things out there that are free that my kids like a lot more than this app.

It could be just my daughter but, this just doesn’t keep her interest for longer than 5 min. I feel like the steps are too repetitive. There should be multiple ways to teach the number line and what number comes next or before.

The app was freezing. The word videos would continue to repeat instead of advancing after passing that section. The selection would not load. The sounds would randomly not work. It was terrible.

I downloaded the app and started the free trial period and it worked for about five minutes. Thereafter it kept prompting me to start the free trial, which I’d already done. Clicking again on the free trial option returned a message that I’d already started the free trial, yet the app doesn’t work. Uninstalled

I’m running this on an M2 iPad Pro, there’s no reason this app should be freezing. My child ends up needing help due to the loading screen getting hung up every 10 min or so. Don’t waste your time or money on SplashLearn…

Be aware, your trial starts the minute you download and they don’t notify you that your trial is ending and charge your account for a full year immediately. This has left our very tight budget family in a precarious situation. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

I wanted to try this app out. I changed my mind but there was no way to get out of the app. I put in a lot of junk until I could finally exit the app. Needless to say I deleted it from my phone!

I’m just going to say this....I don’t understand why you have to PAY for EVERYTHING after your first lesson!!!!! Covid 19 is out and we children need to learn some how And not all of us had parents who aren’t cheap and don’t pay for everything!!!!

Not sure what’s going on with the new update....app closes me off while it’s trying to load. Deleted the app, reinstalled, put my email in (as I purchased the lifetime) sent me an email for verification code, put code in, game froze, closed down the game, app won’t open and tries to open and closes again....arrrg! I have had this since 2015.....please help so frustrating!

My son loved playing this game a lot on his old iPad, but the game does not start after Please wait while we fetch all your games on this device screen on his IPad 8th, even though we have a subscription. Reinstalling the game did not help and App Support link in App Store does not work. Great game while it was working though.

You can do very little without signing up for a paid subscription with a free week trial

This thing sucks. It charged me 40$ after a week without being clear. There are hundreds of free apps that do the same thing but better.

During short time my kids used it was good, however got bored with it quickly and have stopped using it. I would have given a higher review if not for the fact that when I tried to cancel the subscription like the others kept getting error messages which is not at all which is very upsetting. Not very professional squeezing another month or two out of your customers before having to go through out credit card companies.

Downloaded the app over a week ago for my son to use while schools are closed. Needed to submit email to receive a code, which never came. Nothing. Then charge went through my credit card, tried to get a refund. Refused. Terrible app and terrible service. Do not use. Sadly cannot rate it at zero stars.

Don’t download this unless you’re sure you will buy it because attempts to ‘cancel’ will not work (the link errors out and brings you back to the App Store) and the next thing you know, a receipt comes to you for the full year’s subscription...

It shows that is is free but you have to sign up then get emailed a code to sign up at which point you are advised it is free for 7 days then there is an automatic monthly fee. You do not get any access to the free 7 days until you agree to the monthly fee. Surely you should be able to try it without giving personal information or payment ??? So don’t waste your time unless you want to pay around $7.99 a month. My kid’s teacher said to never pay for a math app.

I purchased a K/1 bundle and a Grade 2/3 bundle. The apps were deleted off the iPad and now we only have the full version for K. I have contacted support, sent the receipt and am still getting the run around with no help reinstating the programs. I do not recommend purchasing this app or dealing with this company.

Over $10 per month after 1 week!

The questions were ok but incredibly easy. You could only do 1 lesson and then you can’t do anything. The ads were EXTREMELY inappropriate. I wouldn’t recommend downloading this app at ALL

Over priced for using on a family with one child. The price might make sense for a group of kids. I contacted support and I got what I think was an automated message that translated in "we don't care your opinion we just need your money "

This app is by no means free. You can't unsubscribe from their endless emails and they will not stop until you make purchase after purchase.

Pretty straightforward, entrapment is the only way this app works. Can't try it for free although it offers a free trial, you must pay right away regardless if it's a good app or not. You can't even review this app without spending money. The one star Is to high of a rating ......this app doesn't deserve a review when all they do is entrap people.

Should not say offers in app purchases when in app purchase is required to even test the app.

I don't like being sold 1/2 truths. I understand what in-app purchases are about but didn't like the fact the I could only set up one profile for one child (monthly fee for second child!) and that my only child allowed to play gets to try 10 questions per day (more? Pay the monthly subscription!) this is not a free app. At least how I define it. Rip off. Just be honest in the description of what you get and what costs money. That way people can make informed decisions.

Like many educational apps, it's only free to a certain extent. This is a great educational game, but I cannot afford to buy it for the over 100 students I teach. Ten free questions a day only takes about 5 minutes to complete, then you have to wait a day until you can do more

Only discovered after I downloaded their "free" app that you can only answer 10 questions and then it makes you buy the full library if you want more... Try math seeds online, at least you get a 14 day trial and can see if you actually like it before you fork over the money.

Within the app, the price of a particular library is advertised at a certain price and by the time you confirm your order it goes up. Anywhere between 2 and 5$ that I saw.

When trying to purchase this app for which says $9.99 it comes up saying confirm price of $11.99 for lifetime of grade1.......why do I want a lifetime of grade 1 and why is it advertised at a lower price? I sure hope this game is worth the extra $$$

Is there a way to un-upgrade it back to the ocean theme? My child has autism and he has lost his mind over the sudden change in theme.
