Contraction Monitor is designed for pregnancy mums to track contractions.
Regular contraction is an importance sign of labor, when that big time is approaching, duration of contraction becomes longer and stronger, frequency becomes shorter. And contractions will show their laws when true labor is coming, so keep tracking contractions will help you distinguish true labor from ‘false’ labor. Graph of contraction duration and frequency makes it easy for you to see the tendency of contractions.
The operation is very easy, just press the button when contraction starts and press the button again when it ends, Contraction Monitor will log the start time, end time, duration and frequency and intensity of this contraction.
Features: ⁃ Log start time, end time, duration, frequency and intensity of contractions. ⁃ Analyze contractions by chart and histogram. ⁃ Calculate the average duration and frequency of latest three, five, ten and all contractions. ⁃ Add note to each contraction. ⁃ Share your contraction data with your doctor or friends by email. ⁃ Continue contraction where you left off in the condition that you make a call or play other apps while logging contraction. ⁃ Calculate your delivery due date, show days remaining to your due date and days passed from your last menstrual period. ⁃ Contact module for you to add your labor contacts, you can call them conveniently by one touch if your baby is coming when you are logging contractions. ⁃ Support edit function for contraction logs. ⁃ Migrate Data to pro version. ⁃ Supports Apple Watch version. ⁃ Support both iPhone and iPad version.

Good app but ads interrupt at very bad timesThis app works very well and we used it in preparation of both our children. But I will say one thing: the placement of occasional video ads is INFURIATING. I understand banner ads and small things to pay for a free-ish version, but if you are timing contractions in active labor, you DON'T want to watch a video before proceeding to the next screen.
Designers: Good job on the product and interface. But get a better ad model. Seriously. That's a major UX failure..Yet another Steve hereVersion: 3.3
Works as expected!I downloaded this when my wife woke me up with contractions before the birth of our first child. The app worked great and was just what I needed. It informed me that her contractions were getting closer and closer (4mins when I started 3 when we left for the hospital). The only negative and the reason it wasn't five stars was that after 20 contractions it told me I had to buy it the app for 0.99$ if I wanted to continue (this is an obnoxious time to force me into an app purchase). I did not need to buy the app because it was pretty obvious that labor had started. When we arrived at the hospital, my wife was 5 centimeters and our daughter arrived 4 hours later..OskaiVersion: 2.0
Great app - free versionThis app helped me accurately count my contractions. Although you just get 20 counts for the free version, you can always erase and start over again. I did not need to record past contraction pattern as what counts are the current frequency and strength to determine if I need to go to the hospital. There is a snap shot function to take an image copy of the 20 contractions in graphical format for those who want to keep track. Overall, I think the free version is more than enough for me, however, I am sure the paid version is as good, if not more so..WFrogVersion: 1.3
Surprise limitVery useful, but you don't find out until you get there that it will only record 20 contractions. Not even after you've recorded the 20th, but as you try to record the 21st. Definitely not a nice surprise for a woman in labor. The limit is fair enough, but wish it was stated somewhere up front. I might have bought the full version if I had known in advance, but not while I was in labor! Aside from that, I thought it was a nice app. Not planning on another baby, but if we were I'd probably use the app again..RDRaustinVersion: 1.4
Best contraction timer out there!!!!Surfed and downloaded several applications for timing my contraction when they start and then I came across this one and deleted the others! Love the graph charts and the option for the strength of each one!!! It's free !!! Easy to use and even easier to navigate to analysis ur progress with contraction!!! Love this app!!!!!!.Conz75Version: 1.4
Like it so farA good app to time my contractions, as a first time mom, this app was very helpful and it keeps my contractions info, I can email my doctor about my contractions when I am at home, I don't have to lead to the hospital to meet my doctor to check contractions. Like it..HammespaulineVersion: 1.2
Great app!Who cares that you only get 20 contractions for free. Who needs to know about contractions that far back anyways? I tried many different apps and this was by far the best free one I found!.Utah fibro suffererVersion: 1.4
HandyThis free app is super easy to use and helpful for timing contractions. It doesn't just average the time in between contractions, but keeps the real data so you can see your progression..Gann0041Version: 3.2
Limited to 20 contractionsI wish this app had stated it's differences between lite and full. I was frustrated that I wasn't in a position to download the full app when I reach the 20 contraction max. I had to delete some contractions and lost data. I like the app and glad when I did choose to upgrade..Wizkid momVersion: 1.1

Contraction Monitor Negative Reviews
So meanGreat app until I really needed it and it wasn't available anymore. It only worked 20 times before it asked for money. I would have paid but was having severe contractions. It was not nice that I wasn't given a heads up before I really needed it. Either buy it when you first go into labor or don't bother because it won't be available when you really need it..KLo129Version: 1.3
This App Takes Advantage of a Desperate SituationMuch like the hardware store that jacks up the price of snow shovels in the middle of a blizzard, so too will this app screw you over at the wrong time. It provides for entry of 20 contractions for free. That lasted about 1.5 hours, and just as my wife started a really painful contraction, this app told me that I had to upgrade, which of course I did. "What's going on, this really hurts," she says. "Hold on honey, just need to enter the credit card info, you doing okay?"
Of course, when you update, your prior information does not port over to the app you just paid for, meaning as your wife is in labor and screaming at the top of her lungs, "What the hell is my frequency?," you can't tell her all that effectively.
Bottom line, do not get the free version of this app. Either pay the $0.99 well in advance (the program was working fine while we used it) or avoid it altogether. A little more disclosure by the designer would have been appreciated. My wife thanks you..TolvinhoVersion: 1.3
Just plain cruel.Great app concept. It really is. HOWEVER, in this free option the company does not tell you that you are limited to 20 contractions. I should have read reviews before downloading, but they should also put that in the description. This is a great app with a horrid, sneaky marketing strategy. Contractions and labor are not the time to try and trick someone into purchasing an app after 20 contractions. I will not purchase the non-trial version of this app on principal. Even though it is the one I like the most and have found easiest to use. Tell people this is a trial!!! Really cruel way to reel users in. And looking at other comments/reviews, I am not alone. Way to ruin a solid service with horrible marketing strategies..JessieRVersion: 2.0
Loss of data mid laborApp only stores 20 contractions, then makes you upgrade to keep records of more. Problem is, this really only happens mid labor (when you don't need surprises) and it doesn't transfer the data to the paid version.... Which means all you data is disconnected and might as well be deleted anyway. But, in the throws of labor, you don't know this, so you just pay to upgrade and then you realize your data starts over. I'm sure they list it somewhere, but seemed like a bait and switch to me.
If the data transferred with the upgrade and they made it more clear that you have to upgrade to go passed 20, it would have had 5 stars, in my opinion..BbironVersion: 2.1
UselessPlease know that this app only records data for 20 contractions, which is of no use for any normal birthing process. After 20 contractions, it tells you it's maxed out and asks if you wish to upgrade to the pay version. The app itself is okay, but I don't appreciate such poor business practices and would have liked a little more disclosure about this massive shortcoming related to the free version. It also should be noted that once / if you upgrade to the pay version, NONE of the previously recorded data transfers over from the free version . . . at potentially one of the most critical times of your life. I wish I had known that..ProudfatherdgwVersion: 1.3
Caution, do not use this app! This app is a vicious con. My wife was in labor and as soon as it got really stressful and I was talking to the doctor, the app hit the limit on number of contractions and required a purchase to continue.
This is a common app swindle, but this one puts the mother and the baby at risk. The data you've logged is lost when you download the full version. Avoid this company that uses absolutely heartless and sociopathic marketing.
Please do not support this company. Notice that the positive reviews are all very similar. Likely, they are fakes. This is not a useful app, it is worse than useless as it could be dangerous..SkiegVersion: 2.2
Do not buy - find anotherI was absolutely infuriated to find that in the middle of very active labor, you can only track 20 contractions with the free version of this app. I refused to upgrade out of pure morals that someone would sell a product this way. My husband, however, didn't feel like dealing with learning a new app and things were moving so fast we needed to continue to track how close the contractions were. If sold in a legit way, I would have probably spent more than $1.00 in the first place... But seriously. Buy another app just out of principle... Do not buy this app..Mojo melVersion: 2.0
Don't bother to download into a trap!As some reviewers had mentioned, only 20 contractions are allowed in this free version and that was not mentioned at all in the app description! 99 cents is a reasonable price for this app but it is plain wrong to trick people into downloading and only to find out during your painful labor that you cannot track any more contractions!
After a few minutes of struggle I decided to look for another app instead even it's troublesome. It is just plain wrong to do business this way and I refused to be tricked!.IJMamaVersion: 2.0
Flawed and gives inaccurate dataVery hard to get accurate data, since it averages your frequency. It makes inconsistent BH contractions seem like real ones. Information is not set up in a helpful or easy to read way. The charts are very hard to read and relevant info is hard to get ahold of..ClabnaVersion: 3.1.1
Screws you if you are in laborSo it doesn't tell you when you download it, but you can only record 20 contractions and when you go to record the 21st, it tells you you are SOL unless you pay. Really?? You are going to do that to a woman trying to figure out if it is hospital time, in pain, freaking out (first time moms like me.) I get that it's free, but warn me beforehand, not on the 21st contraction!.Pregnant GrumpVersion: 1.4
EhNothing more annoying than having full blown contractions and instructed by dr to walk the halls whiling timing them, to find out in order to continue to time your contractions you have to pay for an upgrade.. The last thing I have time for or mental ability to do while in the worst pain of my life.
Thanks for the heads up, thought I was prepared before going into labor by having an app.. wasn't expecting that!.Kris07301002Version: 2.2
Bad timing on purchase decisionDevelopers: You really should ask me to upgrade at the END of my 20th contraction instead of the START of my 21st. I wanted to throw my phone at the wall when the message popped up!.BeeshahVersion: 2.3
Wish I could give less than one starThe makers of the app don't tell you that it only tracks for 20 contractions until you have reached the limit, then they pop up a screen to upgrade.....WHILE YOU ARE IN LABOR!!!!!!
I will never download another app from these makers again. I found this disgraceful, and more than a bit underhanded..M0v/3Version: 2.2
The most shameless sales tactic ever employedAs another reviewer has mentioned this app records 20 contractions ( making sure your labor is real and active) and then forces you to purchase to record anymore. If that wasn't bad enough the purchased version does not retain the first 20 contractions you tracked ! Out of pure principle use ANY other app instead of this one..Joe from SacramentoVersion: 2.0
Really? My wife is having contractions and after 20 you THEN make it clear I have to upgrade to continue tracking. I don't care about a buck but come on! Labor is not the time. Now the starting data for the last 3.5 hours is stored on the free version. Way to add to the stress..BumfufuVersion: 1.4
Free Version LimitationThis app was exactly what we wanted and worked perfectly ... EXCEPT there was no indication that the free version was limited to recording 20 contractions, no warning that we were approaching a limit, nothing. I don't like being forced onto something when under pressure, so just quit using this app..Mpd3875Version: 1.3
Don't waste your timeHalf way through timing contractions it stops and makes you buy the full version to continue. Lame. Get Full Term instead, it's easier to use and won't interrupt you at the most crucial time you need this to work..Warped76Version: 2.1
Horrible on Apple WatchDon't bother with this app if you plan on using it on your watch. It lags and doesn't allow you to start or stop timing accurately. Very frustrating when you're trying to time contractions!!.Kj15162Version: 3.1.1
Useful but . .I downloaded the App and after 20 contractions the app locks to tell you to upgrade to the full version..I didn't and downloaded a completely free app..GregpizziniVersion: 2.1
Highly frustratingAfter twenty contraction it won't work and upgrade and no data transfer so you lose the history. I hate dealing forced to buy something that way.Joost2013Version: 2.2

Don't buy this appNo mention that you need to pay to upgrade until u have twenty contractions. Apple should kick these a$$hole$ off the App Store. There is no finer example of price gauging than charging a pregnant woman, IN LABOR, to pay to upgrade.MexzaefhuVersion: 2.3
Waste of timeThanks for wasting my time. 20 contractions and then we find out we need to upgrade to continue. No thanks. People don't mind paying - but they do mind being tricked..Mikegioia2Version: 1.4
What?!? A dating websiteSo, not only does it ask you to upgrade after 20 contractions, which happened when my wife was 6 cm dilated and in labor pain, it has advertisements. One of the advertisements on it was for a dating website! There's better options out there, unless when your wife is about to deliver your precious girl you're willing to hit the market. Pretty inappropriate..Racer478932689Version: 2.3
Just bad!Soon as you get started the app shuts down until you pay for it! Don't bother 😡.Juanita.carterVersion: 2.2
ShamefulApp worked great until my wife was 3 hours into her labor. That's when we found out this is only good for 25 contractions. So right when things are important it forces you to buy. Wow..MchaleyVersion: 2.2

Wow, got meFree app for first 20, then it asks you to buy it. When upgraded to new app, my info for the free one didn't automatically update. App designers clearly in it to make a buck and probably never been in labour before. 0 stars. Greedy..Picnic chachiVersion: 1.4
