Where is the widget?Based on past reviews, I just purchased this app specifically for the availability of a widget. Edited: It is a bit confusing because of the iOS 14 update, but I was eventually able to get the widget on my phone. I’m not sure how I did it, but it’s there now and I love the app! The best pitch pipe app availableThis is by far and away the best pitch pipe app out there. The interface is clean and intuitive, and I like how I can choose three different octaves. TuningI’ve used this app for years and I love it, but I literally just noticed that the pitches are significantly flat when compared to a piano. I don’t know if it’s always been this way or it’s due to a recent update, but either way I can’t use this in my singing group of it’s not tuned closer to A 440. Such a cool appPerfect design. Using this in a singing group. Able to select the pitch easily with haptic feedback (kind of like the old iPod wheels), the octave(s), and even set the hertz (e.g. 432hz instead of the default 440hz). Better than others.I like this app because it is set up like an actual pitch pipe. Other free apps I tried had just pitches listed. I like the option of having a clarinet, piano, or tone. The tone option sounds much like a real pitch pipe. Plus you have two options ending the pitch. It can die on its own after a few seconds or you can press the center again and it will mute the pitch. A great choiceWhat sold me on this app is the fact that it will still function when the phone sound is turned off. This is absolutely essential in a performing environment. It is visually pleasant, and easy to use. It automatically switches octaves as you click around the circle, and its tone options are nice, too.
