Top Shelf AppIn bars they put the best stuff on the top shelf. This is that kind of app. It stores some of the information on your phone, which I LOVE because I don’t max out my storage on my phone all the time and if I’m on vacation in Europe then I know I need space for photos I’m going to take. The fact it puts information on your phone is great because you KNOW that if you’re on a train or in a subway, etc, you’re going to lose connectivity. This app is prepared for that. This app is “solidly built.” It doesn’t fail and suddenly lose track of where you are when you’re in the middle of a complex series of connections from the airport to the bus or the taxi, to the subway, to the hotel or hostel, or wherever you stay!! This is the kind of app you can trust. One thing to know (which isn’t really a negative), is that this can be an energy intensive app for your phone to run, so don’t navigate away from the app when it’s opened…especially with an older phone. It can crash if you have too much else opened, but that’s only because it’s got so much information!! This is the kind of top shelf app that really does something we didn’t have in the pre-internet era. This would have been a pile of paperwork back then…Bus schedules and train schedules and figuring out what platform to be on…THIS DOES IT ALL!!!.Version: 10.38

Citymapper was a lifesaver for meI am a 67 year old female, who is from a small town. Our only means of transportation, is our personal vehicles. Although I wanted to visit London, I was intimidated because of it’s massive size, and I had no idea of how to use it’s public transportation system. Before making the decision to visit London, I discovered Citymapper and downloaded the app. Although at first it was confusing on how to use it, I finally got the hang of it. I then began doing trial runs to the different locations that I wanted to visit. Before long, I had learned how to go all over London, by using Citymapper. Once I felt confident that I could maneuver the city, I then made arrangements to travel. By the time I arrived in London, I was able to get around like the locals. Had it not been for Citymapper, I honestly don’t think that I could have taken this trip..Version: 11.6.1

Better than Transit, but has its issuesIt gets 5 stars for being better than Transit, but loses 1 star because I can’t use it anymore since I started a new job. I like that I can see all the upcoming departures for the line I’m about to get one, not just the next one. It also lets you manually select which departure you’re going to make, which is helpful because I usually walk fast so I usually make it to the one before it thinks I’m going to make. However, for some reason it doesn’t recognize the station right next to my work as a station, so it always tries to take me to/from a station much further away, which adds a lot of time to my commute. I don’t use the app for directions, I only use it for ETAs and seeing the bus/train departure times, so it’s basically useless now when I’m going to work. I still use it when I’m going other places, which is much less often..Version: 10.52.3

Beats Google Maps!My family and some friends were on vacation in NYC and wanted to get around on the subway. I had downloaded this app, and a family friend downloaded google maps. While google is helpful finding businesses and restaurants, when using the subway and getting accurate directions this is the app to use! When we were on the subway my friend often lost signal and the app would stall, but with this app not a problem! It shows you were along you are on the train, the next stop, and where you’re supposed to get off. It’ll tell you the name of the stop and once you get off will show you which direction you go. This is also incredibly helpful as many stations have different street entrances. It was smooth traveling and suggest it for all my friends when they’re on vacation..Version: 11.6.1

Disappointing for FlorenceI used to use this app all the time when I was living in NYC, it was the best. But I’ve since moved to Florence, Italy, and it’s been very disappointing. It seems to rely on the scheduled bus times instead of the live ones. In this town, the bus schedules are completely meaningless and only the live times are reliable. If the app is using live times, then they’re not using the right ones - it’s always wrong, while the official bus app has reliable live times. Also, buses here are very frequently diverted and that’s never noted in the app. Even worse, the app has quite a few of the bus routes completely wrong, even when there are no diversions. It’s a shame, because I love the app… but all this adds up to it being completely unusable here. Unfortunately, I’m deleting it..Version: 11.8.5

*The* Travel Companion! This app is one of the best things you need whilst traveling! I travel to London often and this is what my husband and I use 100% of the time, and how we originally found this app. Since then we’ve been to Philadelphia, DC, Portland, Seattle and NYC and have used Citymapper in all those places! It’s easy to use and I love the little details like letting you know which train cars tend to be less busy. It always gives you multiple routes, too, because sometimes the fastest route isn’t the most ideal! My only small gripe is that in NYC, it’s not particularly clear about where the Subway entrances are at. Beyond that, this app is amazing and I recommend it to so many people. Especially if you’re an avid traveler, you’ll download it and never need anything else. 🤩.Version: 10.52.2

LOVE this appI recently went to NYC for a long weekend and though I know my way around the city pretty well I explored this visit to places I haven’t been, enter the Citymapper app. You put in where you want to and it shows you how to get there and a multitude of ways. Whether it be walking taking the train or taking the bus or taking a cab or taking an Uber or Lyft. It gives you the time of each method of transportation how long it will take you to get there and it even gives you an estimated cab and Uber/Lyft fares. If you opt to take the train like I did it tells what car to get on to be closest to an exit and it even gives you walking directions when exiting the train to reach your final destination. This app is AWESOME! I highly recommend and will use it for years to come. Thank You Citymapper..Version: 7.16

Not as efficient as Google MapsAt first I was excited to use this app. Visiting NYC for the first time was a great opportunity to try this out. I thought it would be great to navigate the subway system and occasionally the bus. It had useful features such as which cars to board for the subway and which station exits to use. Unfortunately, none of these features save you any time or walking. It displays too many route options, and they’re only sorted by how much time they take. The best routes with the least walking aren’t even shown. And if you follow the recommendations for which section to board or which station exit to use, you’ll end up walking even more. If I plug the same destination into Google Maps, it recommends the best route or quickest route, and it uses connections to save steps walking. The only time it came out ahead of google was find a route to JFK. Otherwise, not worth the download..Version: 8.5

5 starsWow, I just returned from London and used this app extensively while there after learning about this app after doing some research before my trip. London is huge and it’s transit system confusing, but using your app helped me navigate my way around the city without a problem. I paid for the extras which was well worth it. I loved the simple and turbo options when making a decision on my travel choices. The app even gives you an accurate calculation of the trip cost too. Using the app with an earpiece was especially helpful with updates on the underground and bus schedules and gave real time locations even when walking. I can’t recommend it enough, it far exceeded my expectations..Version: 10.52.1

Recently has become less reliableI have used this app and raved about it for years. I recently moved to a new part of Brooklyn and am using a whole new set of subway lines and I’ve had to come to terms with knowing that if I follow this app, I will always be about 10 minutes late.. so I plan accordingly and set my arrival time to be 10 mins earlier than I need to be. Last night I left my apt 5 mins later than the app told me to and arrived at my destination 20 mins late... those 5 minutes might have accounted for me missing a train but it is just incredibly frustrating. Also I don’t know if this is a setting on my phone but the blue dot on my map that tracks my location has also become unreliable. It consistently points me in the wrong direction so I now go the opposite way of where it tells me to go..Version: 8.0.2

The Only Transit App You’ll Need in SFI’ve lived in San Francisco since before there was even NextBus (dark, dark times) and since it came to be, I must have tried a dozen apps for years before I discovered CityMapper. The key is that it calculates the ideal route for you taking into account time to walk to stops, when you need to be somewhere, or whether you want to get there fast or walk the least. It also has every transit system, including ferries and county bus lines like Sam Trans and Golden Gate Transit. Finally, the Apple watch app works very well by alerting you when the bus is coming or when your stop is next. I can’t find a single thing about it I don’t like except that the watch app sometimes needs to be manually started to connect, but that’s really it..Version: 9.4

Best app EVER!This is hands down the most useful app for navigating big cities ever! Far more useful than something simple like google maps. I used this in Paris and in figuring out how to get from one place to another, it tells you how many minutes it will take if you walk, ride a bike, ride a scooter, ride in a car, take the bus or metro. If you take metro for example it will tell you how to walk to the appropriate station, what line to get on, going in which direction, how many stops to ride, what stop to get off or change, how to navigate changes to different lines, and what stop to get off at, and even which street exit to take. Then, the walking route to your final destination. Indispensable!!!!!.Version: 10.44

This app made me love city travel againRecently I visited NYC for 4 days. I have been there three times and each time I was a stressful ball of mess that would be switching back and forth between three different apps and still managing to get lost. NOT ANYMORE !! Citymapper is the best app on the market for nagavating a big city. It took a few trail and errors to get the hang of it but once I got the gist of the app it was super easy . I love the fact that it gives you multiple options for getting to your destination and you just pick the one that works best for you. My preferences was buses with no transfers . So I found it and picked . I didn’t get lost not one time with citymapper and it actually made traveling the city seem like a breeze ..Version: 8.8

My go-to transit appWith constant updates, added features, and improvements, this is my go-to app. I use it hand in hand with Google Maps. Each have features I like that the other doesn’t. Transportation is a breeze with this app. I’ve used it in both NYC where I live and in London when I went to visit (the offline feature is wonderful as I didn’t have cell service. I would use the WiFi and plan out my trips and save them in the hotel and was able to access my transit directions on the go) I feel as though there could be some work with the LIRR directions. My commute has a simpler route than suggested and when the app shows it, it’s inconsistently there. Love this app though!.Version: 7.16

This app is like having a super power in your pocketThis app is hands down without question the best thing for a commuter since the invention of transit cards! My commute consists of the following; personal vehicle> bus>ferry>bus>shuttle!!! Before this app I had to wrangle 2-4 apps all with varying degrees of reliability to get this mess figured out if I was late or if I was coming home from a different part of the city. Now all I need is ONE!!! I couldn’t be more happy, the interface is amazing and the data provided has been 100% accurate for me everyday. All I can say is keep up the great work and I share this app with everyone I meet since I travel frequently for work and I look forward to this app taking on more cities!.Version: 7.0

A “MUST” Have AppI’ve used a lot of travel apps, but this one hands down the best I’ve ever used. It will walk you directly to the train station, metro, bus, etc you need to reach your destination. What I really like about it is it will tell you if a route is disrupted by the many strikes in Paris and provide you with a “strike safe” route. It will also recommend which part of the train or metro to sit in. I’m a heavy traveler and am totally impressed with it. Great job and a big thanks to those who developed it. They know the travel business and the needs of tourists and all travelers. If you’re weary of what route to take and what transport to use then simply let this app do the work for you..Version: 10.58.5

Get this app!I don’t write reviews, but I went out of my way to do this. You can pick your time of day of travel and it will tell you how long it will take to get from you start point to your finish point, including where to walk, Which subway exit to take, and even how many calories you will burn. You have multiple options that you can choose for your route and for your method of travel. It’s just awesome. it was my lifeline when traveling in New York City for the first time alone. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Only con is that it can’t pinpoint your current location as accurately as I would like, so I had to wander around a little bit as I neared my Destiination while walking..Version: 7.15.494

A million times better than google mapsSo far I’ve found this app incredibly helpful and accurate in providing the best options for getting somewhere. It includes suggestions of where to be on the train, reminds you when to get off the train, has a helpful map to show you where to walk to/from the train, and even trip costs! I’m curious where they got their train arrival times from, because even the MTA sometimes displays different arrival times on their own different systems. But so far I have not encountered anything particularly incorrect in the info the app provides. The app even includes service changes on lines/buses. So glad someone told me about this app..Version: 8.2

I love this app! This is a great app for those who are directionally challenged and would get lost in their own backyard. I love the fact that there is a feature that signals you when it’s time to get off at your stop. I never go anywhere without using Citymapper! It’s also great that the app gives you at least 5 different ways to get anywhere and it includes all modes of transportation. The walking feature is great because it has a blue dot that lets you know if your walking in the right direction or not. Since using this app I’ve never gotten lost and I usually get to my destination faster than the app estimates. This is an essential app for those who travel regularly..Version: 6.25

Mostly okWe used the app in Chicago, trying to use public transportation rather than cabs & ride-share. We found it hard to use on the go, it seem to have a little trouble determining for we were to give accurate directions. It would also be extremely helpful to be able to plan multiple stops. When we were out for the day, it would have been better to know how long transportation would take us, based on what kind we were using. Perhaps a clearer division of train, bus, car, walking, they often seem jumbled. Or sort based on timeframe. I could see all the choices that comparing them got confusing. Good basic app, need some refinement in a large dense city..Version: 11.6

I Don’t Review AppsI don’t review apps. Ever. Unless I have to. Until now. CitiMapper is the single greatest app for getting around a city you do not know. I used it in New York recently and was just stunned. You have to use it to believe it. Tell it where you want to go and it gives you several options for transportation then tells you step by step what to do. With a map to guide you as you go. “Head to the 49th street subway station. Buy a ticket. Go to the platform that says uptown. Etc.” Then it tells you how long until the next train is coming. Updates you for each stop on the train. It really is amazing. Awesome! I have told ten friends about this app already. A must have!.Version: 7.5.1

Indispensable! This is by far the best transit app I’ve ever used. Syncs with my Apple Watch so I get a buzz when I’m one stop away from where I need to get off, so no more missed stops! I work in an area where there are multiple modes of public transport so at any given time I have access to bus predictions, locations and stats of bike share stations, locations of electric scooters and station-less electric bikes. I am able to send a link to friends so that they can track my location during a trip. I can also track the shuttles that are in my hospital’s system. I don’t usually write reviews but I just have to share how awesome this app is!! There is a new feature for Siri shortcuts too..Version: 7.25.1

No stress even if you’re a first timer at public transitI’m an American who has never lived anywhere that has good public transit, so I’m kind of unfamiliar with how it works/etiquette. This app includes everything you need to know to navigate the public transit system in whatever city you’re visiting, including the best train station entrances and exits, total trip time including walking, and lots of alternative routes if they’re available. I didn’t miss a single train or get on the wrong one during my week long trip to Paris, where I rode the metro at least 15 times. I will never travel without Citymapper again- insane that it’s free..Version: 11.0

Great for Public Transit when travelingVisited Chicago for a week and bought a 1 week CTA Pass: Citymapper was the primary way I understood how to get from place to place! Not only did it show me multiple options, but it also altered me when my stop was coming up! Alerts and status even showed up on my Apple Watch! Really, it was an indispensable tool for that trip. It’s overall usefulness is not much diminished by the fact that I could not initiate a trip on my watch. I could follow all steps of a trip that I had initiated on my phone, though, and that was very useful: I could keep my iPhone in my pocket while checking status on my watch. Really useful app!.Version: 8.7

Great job!I’m completely shocked with how great this app is. I went to New York for the first time in my life and I was scared because I didn’t know where to go to find the subway or which subway I had to take. The city mapper app helped me so much!!. It helped me find the best route for me to take, which subway I had to take, how much I had to walk, what time the subways came, how many stops I had left, and more. It is extremely accurate. Thank you guys so much!!! Awesome job with this app. If you guys are touring New York for the first time and don’t know what to do or how to get around New York City definitely use this app. 10 out of 10.Version: 10.48

Cross-metro area support badly neededWith RailBandit no longer an option (development stopped - no 64-bit support), I have been reviewing various apps to help me with my commutes to downtown Philly and NYC. This app has easy to follow directions, watch support, and optimal routing. It saves me a considerable amount of time by even telling me what subway car is optimal (crucial to an efficient commute when transitioning from the train to the subway). It also has a good live data feed to let me know platform and boarding info. The only reason preventing the 5th star is the fact that I need to manually switch metro areas in the app when going to NYC vs Philadelphia. Devs, these regions border each other and many people traverse the two in a daily commute!.Version: 6.22.1

Best App for TravelingI am currently traveling through London on spring break with my family and I gotta say this app is the best thing for getting around anywhere. I’d be lost already if it wasn’t for this app. Usually what I have to do to get around would take me 2-4 apps with what this one app does. If you plan on traveling anywhere in the world I highly recommend you download this app. It’s very convenient and offers a ton of options for different modes of transportation. At first it will seem intimidating and a bit overwhelming with all of the ways you can travel but I can guarantee that with a bit of practice this app it can serve you at top notch quality..Version: 7.4

Feel confident with this app!As a female solo traveler, this app definitely saved my life while traveling in NYC! If you are ever traveling in New York City, I highly suggest the Citymapper app. I’m from an area in the South where public transportation is simply an idea not a reality. I was very nervous about navigating NYC alone using public transit. This app was extremely helpful, and I managed to travel all over Manhattan, Brooklyn, Roosevelt Island, and parts of New Jersey without getting lost (not even once)! I mainly used the app to navigate the subway system. This app helped me feel safe and confident while traveling alone!! I cannot speak highly enough of this app!! Thank you so much, Citymapper!!!!.Version: 7.7

Useful info, buggyThe organization of the nearby subway/bus lines is easier/less frustrating to access than MyMTA, google maps, or apple maps. but... there's a lot of uncommanded UI refresh/reset when trying to look at nearby subways on launch. i often run 2-6 mins to a train rather than slogging through a longer walking time (also i'm always late) so i want to very quickly know after app launch when my nearest arrival options are. alternatively adding a "if you jogged at 9:30/mi (or pick your poison, i've done 7:30/mi in a suit) these options are open to you" or "if you use your citibike membership to bike 5 mins to this station instead you'll save 20 minutes and there are N docks free.".Version: 10.58.4

The only app you need for navigating a new cityI went to London twice in 2 years, the first time using Google Maps-Apple Maps to navigate, and the second with Citymapper, and the 2nd time was a MUCH smoother experience. It’s incredibly user friendly, gives you easy to understand options for getting to where you want to go, and really intuitive. It also gives very helpful real time information on bus/tube updates. Even when I was disconnected from service on the tube, it continued to give me the last steps for navigation. This has become my new go to app!.Version: 11.19.3

Pay for voice assistant??? Dangerous!I have been using Citymapper while getting around by bicycle since I moved to Barcelona 18 months ago. It has been FANTASTIC. The voice assistant feature allows me to focus on cycling and collision avoidance rather than constantly looking down at my phone. It also allowed me to keep my phone and self out of harms way by not having to pull it from my pocket and one handing my bike. NO other navigation apps have REMOVED basic user safety features. PLEASE find another way to generate revenue other than making your app dangerous to use. Reinstate free voice assistant!!!.Version: 10.56.3

Best Navigation AppHonestly the best app I’ve ever used to get around a city. I was recommended it by my orientation leader when I got to college—I go to AU in Washington, DC—and it has made my life 100x better when it comes to getting around a new city. I even use it when I go home in New York City because of how amazing it is wi try showing updated information on trains and busses. Everyone should use this app I recommend it to every person I meet when I notice they’re not using it to get around. We should all take more public transportation and less single person vehicles! Also they’re design gimmick is super cute 10/10.Version: 9.6

Super helpful appJust returned from a three city trip to Europe. This app was top notch. Better than google maps especially the walking part. Google maps always seemed to have a delay and didn’t recognize what direction I was walking. Not a problem with Citymapper. It showed my progress along the route and even alerted me when my train stop was coming up. The only difficulty was in Athens as the train stops and street signs IRL are in both the Greek alphabet and English. Some locations on the app (like when I was taking the train from the airport) I could only see the Greek letters..Version: 10.57.12

Great if you have terrible sense of directionThis app was a life saver during a recent vacation to NYC. It allowed us to get walking or transit routes anywhere in the city. When taking the subway I watched the map on my phone for current location and stops (announcements were not very loud). Didn’t get lost once! I did have to use my iPhone app if I didn’t know an exact address. Like if I just wanted a coffee to find a coffee shop in Apple Maps and then plug in the address in Citymapper. I would pay for an app that combines the current platform with a search function..Version: 10.39.1

Great app, a few wishesIt’s generally reliable and accurate, and I love how many cities it covers - it’s been useful throughout US/Europe/UK. Two wishes - one, when I move the map dot in the main screen before inputting a destination, I wish it’d show me transportation arrival times near the dot (useful to quickly see what’s coming near a location without having to type in x to y specifically); and two, I really wish the saved stops widget works more consistently (it’s amazing when it’s available, but often it disappears for periods of time or shows as unavailable). This is still my go-to transit app. Thanks for a useful app!.Version: 11.17.1

Best Navigation App for NYCI live in NYC, and this app has been by far the best in helping me get where I need to go. When I first moved here, understanding the city’s transportation was difficult. But Citymapper makes it so easy! Not only have I learned the transportation system while using it, I also am able to keep up in real-time with trains and buses. The software is outstanding, and it’s super easy to use. There are so many transportation apps out there, so you have to find what works for you. My suggest, try them all! See what fits with your schedule and life, and I’m sure you’ll understand why Citymapper is the way to go. :).Version: 7.5

Do not like latest updatesCity Mapper is my main way of getting around New York and it’s the first thing I suggest newcomers download to navigate the transit system, but the newest updates are not good. You used to be able to access the bus routes in real time from within your trip, but now you have to exit all the way out and find them in a roundabout way. The navigation often glitches and won’t let you go forward to back to the next or previous steps once you’re in a trip. It gets stuck and then the app shuts down. The older version never had these issues and they’re such an important part of use for every trip!.Version: 10.19

Can’t imagine life without itI rarely write reviews for anything but I love this app so much, I have to! I live in New York and City Mapper is genuinely a life saver. I’m so comfortable getting around now. I do pet sitting so I have to travel to a number of different apartments in the city and I’ve been able to find my way each and every time using this. I can even calculate when to leave in order to get there on time! It’s also extremely helpful having the times for the Subway trains available with the directions. In conclusion, you won’t regret the download..Version: 10.40.1

I’ve used it everywhereI’ve been using Citymapper for three years now and I’ve recommended it to all of my friends. When I moved from a rural area to the city after college, I had to figure out city transit for the first time in my life, and Citymapper made it so easy. I’ve used this in Chicago on a daily basis, but I’ve also used this in Paris, Amsterdam, London and Toronto and never got lost! I’m now at the point where I occasionally know better or easier ways to get to certain places in the city on transit than what the app tells me, but it’s still great for planning out trips. Highly recommend it!.Version: 10.31.1

Useful and largely accurate for SF and SeattleThis has been a useful app for transporting myself around San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle area; I haven’t tried it at other major metropolises. I find the use of minutes left before the next train to not be useful when it comes to connecting transportations. For example, minutes left in the current train/bus is useful, but when I swipe left to see next transfer, it’ll tell me I have one minute to the connecting train when I still have 20 minutes to ride, which doesn’t help me because I would rather know what time I can expect to arrive and what time is the train i should expect to get on..Version: 8.4

Like having a local in your pocketFantastic experience with this so far. Everything has been very reliable and up to date so I didn’t have to wonder where my bus or train or subway was. Directions are easy to follow and accurate, and it seamlessly helps you between different forms of transit. I love that it shows you estimated time of travel for each method it suggests. I do wish it was more offline compatible for if I didn’t have reliable cell service. That’s the only thing I would change though. So happy to have found this app! Made navigating New York as easy as it can be..Version: 7.7

Good, but has a big flawI usually love this app. It stays up to date and gives me pretty detailed and accurate information. But I do have a major issue with it. I’ll check the app when I’m leaving for the subway fairly often to plan on arriving at the time they tell me is accurate for the subway. Fairly often, the time will be incorrect, and the train will arrive much earlier than listed, so I miss my train, which is incredibly frustrating. I understand that things change, but when I check the app 10 minutes before I leave seeing a certain time, and walk up seeing that the app was incorrect, it gets old..Version: 7.12

I know it sounds dramatic but this app is lifechangingI moved to a big city in another country a year ago and the official public transportation app for that city was horrible. Citymapper saves me so much time and effort, giving me multiple options for routes (like if I want to walk less or if I’m rushed for time and don’t want to transfer, etc.) and always updating me on times and delays. It’s an all-in-one app and even though I’m familiar with the city now, I use it daily for train and bus times because it’s so reliable. 10/10 I would legit be a brand rep if I could, that’s how much I love this app..Version: 7.11

Best mapper appI live and travel all over the place, and Citymapper has been the most reliable navigation app I’ve used. Others are fine as well, but I really like their interface, the clean layout showing all the options (walking, transit, cars, etc), and - living mostly in Paris - especially the alerts re service outages in various transit lines. It’s reliable, works in most major cities (I have used it extensively in Paris, London, and LA personally), and even the free version (with minor footer ads, not obtrusive to the usability) is great. Big fan..Version: 11.8.3

Quirky excellenceThis is, hands down, the best transit app I’ve ever used, and I’ve used quite a few. It provides a surprisingly detailed understanding of your city; covers all modes of local transportation from traditional (bus & rail) to newfangled (Uber & scooters) and the very best of human-powered (walking & cycling); and offers up highly accurate and intuitive directions (tho I have noticed, at least in Chicago, some obvious route options missing from bussing suggestions)... And all of this excellent info is staged with a welcome sense of whimsy. Citymapper is a must-have (at least a must-try) for every wayfarer, pedalist, and straphanger..Version: 10.16

London travel, sorted. My last trip to London was made so much more productive and enjoyable using this app opposed to all others available. Bus, Tube, and train times were instantly updated and the app follows the journey whilst on it. The ride share for £5 was a nice addition allowing the opportunity to get across the city in comfort for such a small fare (didn’t have to share the ride once, but paid as if I had). The option for regular commuters to buy passes seems a great perk for those living in the city. Definitely will continue to use whenever I am in any city that has Citymapper..Version: 8.3

If you are traveling in a large city without a car, you need thisI travelled with my wife and 3 year old son to Paris for the first time, and read about Citymapper on a travel website before we got there. Citymapper was easy to use (even has some built in intelligence tools to make finding addresses fast) and was accurate with its train/metro lines and times. I would use this app if it is available in any major city. My only request would be for the app to highlight areas (streets or districts) that out-of-towners should not walk through for safety reasons..Version: 7.11

Amazing with Apple WatchApp is perfect especially when paired with the Apple Watch. My watch tells me exactly when to get off without even having to check it or my phone. It just needs dark mode now!.Version: 8.15

Fantastic but....One of the best travel apps around! Great information and very accurate on the go travel information including underground transit if data or wifi is available. Big drawback is it is limited on the number on cities..Version: 6.22

Best transport appHave used the app in Hong Kong, Vancouver, Toronto, London, Singapore, and Tokyo. It has always provided accurate directions and extensive transit options. Looking forward to bangkok being added..Version: 10.48

City MapperEXCELLENT! Must Have for your travels! Bravo! 👍👍.Version: 11.19.3

Very Useful with one annoying quirkVery helpful app with lots of good info. Only issue which is quite annoying is that when you zoom in to look, it automatically zooms back out all the way. Please fix this and it would be perfect👌🏻.Version: 11.19.3

FabulousI was recently in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and Dublin and would have been lost without this app. It was an amazing source for transit information and unerring in my experience..Version: 11.19.3

Reliable appWent to Chicago for the first time and only used this app to get around the city, transit times were super accurate as well..Version: 11.8

Great! But…This app was very helpful. And is easy to use. I just wish it could it have a dark mode. Other Thant hat it’s the best travelling app.Version: 11.10.1

Very niceBest app i had ever use.Version: 11.7.4

WonderfulI’m loving it it’s amazingly helpful.Version: 11.6.3

Best app for large cityI will never travel without this app. I would be lost. Now I travel like a pro.Version: 11.4.1

Confusing appVery confusing, with too many things to flip through to even begin understanding what is what..Version: 11.4.1

Fantastic appSuper helpful for a visitor to use..Version: 11.4

HelpfulVery useful app.Version: 11.3

Just amazing when travellingIt’s such a great app to rely on when travelling, especially for subways and trains. Better than google maps or Apple Maps. It does use more battery than I would like but I’m usually travelling with a battery pack anyways..Version: 11.2

Handy app but difficult to cancel the subscriptionThe app is helpful suggesting different ways to travel based on various factors. One thing annoying is it’s difficult to cancel the subscription once you joined. Fortunately I was charged extra for a monthly fee. Make sure you don’t pick annual subscription or so. Especially if you are getting a free trial. You can be billed over a hundred dollars if you cannot cancel it easily!.Version: 11.2

Free International Money Transfer 💸Enjoy high maximum transfers into more than 20 currencies while saving up to 90% over local banks! The cheap, fast way to send money abroad. Free transfer up to 500 USD!AdvertorialVersion: 11.41
