The App Does its Job Very Effectively!Prior to having to buy a used car for the first time, I had seen advertisements for Carfax and thus knew about their website. So, when it came time to sell my current car and search for another used car, I turned to Carfax and found their mobile app to be very useful! The search filters and vehicle history reports provided through the Carfax mobile app greatly aided me in my search for a used car. Furthermore, the ability to mark specific vehicle listings that I was interested in, as well as the automatic Carfax recommendations added an extra sense of convenience. Search engine incapable of selecting multiple criteriaWhen searching for a used car, whatever route I take (body type search, make/model search) I run into issues. Specifically when trying to adjust the filters. Every time I adjust price, mileage or features, really anything that you could, I am met with a error message stating that my search is invalid and I must adjust the criteria. This doesn’t just happen to me selecting multiple criteria possible, this happens even when I adjust just one of the many criteria that can be adjusted. Great app, one issueI love this app but there is one issue that needs solving. A few updates ago I’ve noticed when I swipe out of the app in the middle of a car search (for example I go to reply to a text) once I go back to the app the results go back to the top of the list. This is very frustrating as if I’m looking through hundreds of cars and I go to reply to a text I come back and I have to scroll for awhile to get back to where I was on the list. Please fix this, I tried to find a way to report it but apparently it only lets you report purchases that have gone wrong. Good appIv been needing a new to me truck and the one iv been wanting is really hard to find with and without the options I want, I really love the amount of search filters and there actually very helpful, especially when your trying to find the perfect truck, I also like how you can sign up for price drop alerts, but there are a few issues that are pretty aggravating such as some of the adds are all blown up where you can’t see any of the information about the vehicle, the other problem is one that I don’t know if Carfax can do anything about or not but it’s really annoying to see a truck listed for sale that was sold a week before ! Hands Down, the BestWe all know CarFax is great, and because I had a list of priorities when finding a car: no accidents, less than 10 years old, under 45k miles, performance package, manual, one owner, within 150 miles, and under 23k. In that order. I was able to quickly sort through cars using CarFax. ~~~ Pro tip: learn everything about the car you want and don’t label any specific trims or options. Often times the dealer won’t actually know what they have because they will just look at a trim and not pay attention to the options. Sometimes they even mislabel the trim! ~~~ I used this to find my car. I was able to actually find one where the dealer wasn’t very knowledgeable on the car, so I basically got a performance package for free. They didn’t know it was on there, they only labeled the trim, not paying attention to options. It was ~2k under KBB value, not including the performance package, adding that in I saved almost 5 grand! I did have to end up driving a bit closer to 200 miles though but it was worth it! Sold cars continue to displayI have been using your platform for over three years now. Recently, I have noticed often some ads appear active on your platform. When I approached they dealer. They replied the car isn’t available. Interestingly, at the cost of your platforms reputation, such dealers post ads to catch potential customers in the market. Dealers start getting detail of the customer. Please keep check on such ads. I still don’t want to name the dealership. Excellent App with no hassleI got this app so I could check out the prices of cars in various places. I want to know what the going rate was for cars that I am interested in and see if there were any vehicles that peaked my interest. I’ve never actually bought off of this site before but the whole purpose of this site is just to show you what’s available out there. They haven’t sold my information to my knowledge and they aren’t pushy for you to buy a car. The only time you ever deal with a sales person is when you want to and you reach out to them. Good place to find a good reliable vehicleI purchased a 2018 Hyundai Sonata from Norm Reeves Hyundai Supercenter in Cerritos California. Jalil the salesman was so nice and friendly. I like the fact that he wasn’t pushy. We had a good conversation about the vehicle and not once did he try to sell me the car. Also, his brother Khalid was a pleasure as well. Easy to use and compare cars.This is a great app that helps to provide a lot of information all in one place. Also, you don’t have to sign up for the app to use it and I love that! The only gripe I have is that you can either search for all models of a particular make OR all of them. For instance, I’m interested in an Audi S3, RS3, or an S5, but I have to sift through a lot of A models to with how the search is set up. Or I search for them individually, which is fine. Lastly, I wish there was a way to organize the specs and options of a car so that I could quickly export the information into a spreadsheet. Well designed but with two weird quirksOn the website, I can save my searches without issue, but frequently in the iOS app the save search function is great out for no reason. This needs to be fixed. The features selection is not alphabetized, but is in order of how common that feature is in your particular search. They also gray out features that are not in your search results , but you might want to search for anyway. It’s unclear why they aren’t alphabetized which is the only logical way. CarFax is indispensableI will not buy a used car without a CarFax Report. It is priceless to find a 1-Owner car, with documented oil changes, locally owned and serviced, and no accidents. I also use the app to look at detail of the service history. If I see repeat issues over a period of time or miles, I avoid the car. Sometimes the service history will show multiple wheel changes and multiple alignments over a year or two. That points to a suspension issue that is not adjusted properly. Sometimes the history shows numerous, repeat electrical issues. Ownership location of the vehicle is also important. Prefer not to purchase a used car from a “Rust Belt” State, MN, WI, MI, northern OH, NY, etc... I have been using Car Fax fir almost two decades! I preferred when I could purchase unlimited checks over a 3-month or 6-month period. I’m a patient shopper. Excellent App / Horrible on iPadsI would gladly give this five stars if it was formatted for an iPad. As it stands now, you are much better off going to CARFAX on a web browser than using this app on an iPad. It looks horrible. What is especially sad is that it could be so much more useful for car shopping on an iPad than it is on an iPhone, because the iPhone formatting is very condensed (which is to be expected because they have relatively smaller screens). I am happy that the separate myCARFAX app does have formatting for an iPad. It looks and works great! Daddy’s little girls first car 🚘So far I am pleased with the layout Carfax provides and until I get to physically inspect the vehicle so I won’t know how true the information is that has been provided. Best Car Buying AppIn my opinion this is a great app to use to follow the merket prices of cars so that you can find a automobile of your choice, at the price that’s affordable. I myself use this app from a car enthusiast point of view. IPad issueWhen I open the window to view the specifications of the vehicles, the information is displayed to wide for the window. I’m unable to resize or move the information to view everything. Not sure if this has been reported. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, no change. Very disappointed. I love the app on my phone, but the IPad it’s not usable. The difference I notice in on the phone the information is displayed in two columns glowing down. On the IPad it’s displayed with 4+ columns going across the screen and is too wide for the display. It’s nice but it could be betterThe Carfax app is OK for what it is now but there are some bugs that could be fixed. An example being that sometimes when scrolling through the vehicles I find that some of the listings have the incorrect picture and when I click on the listing the correct picture shows up meaning that it’s a bug in the app. The app also seems a little bit outdated I believe the aesthetic of the app could be a little better just for an easier user-friendly navigation. Weird bug recentlyAnytime I try to change my search options, it will bring up the menu but when I go to change selections there is no way to do it. For instance, when I click “drive type” there is no menu to make a selection. And when I am able to change something it doesn’t register or I get an “uh-oh! I don’t believe their rapport yetI bought a used 2022 Toyota Sienna from a dealer and was given a Carfax report on the car that said it was clean. But that only made me pay attention because the car turned out to be painted. I understand that not everything can be reflected and people can hide something, but still, if their report is so expensive and means absolutely nothing, because you should still take the car to people who know about it or a mechanic, and check everything thoroughly, then their report in this case is worthless, it does absolutely nothing, just wastes your time, money and makes you a little blind. I no longer trust their report, and even before that I wrote to their support, and even after I discovered the problem, they cannot enter it into the car's history so that it would be reflected in the report in the future, but they do not do that. The conclusion is that their report is worthless and a car inspection for almost $50 will simply waste your money and will not provide any reassurance or eliminate the need to have your car inspected by professional mechanics or people who know how to do it..Kh33cccccccVersion: 6.43.0

Don’t expect timely access to reports. Waste of $85Was in the market for a car and wanted vehicle history report. As with all good car deals, they don’t last long, so I needed the report ASAP. I purchased 5 reports for $85. Money was withdrawn immediately but I didn’t have access to reports right away. I emailed customer support to see what the hold-up was. Not only did it take them a week to respond, which I think is unreasonable for customer support, but the reports weren’t accessible for an entire week too. Had to rely on Autochek instead, which provided immediate access to reports. Purchased a car after using Autochek and no longer needed CARFAX, but now I can’t get refunded for the $85 because Apple has identified CARFAX report purchases as a non-refundable purchase. Seems quite convenient for CARFAX. Very disappointed that CARFAX can’t do more to refund my money. Lost a paid for Carfax checkMy phone didn’t save my password for this app. I tried signing in with what was believed was the password and nothing. Tried to reset password but the site never sent the link. I tried many times over many days. Every time I enter my email and hit send, no mail would come. I checked all email; received, junk, trash… but nothing. I tried refreshing and nothing. My phone is pretty good at saving passwords for most sites; only the sketchy ones it doesn’t save the password. I wasted $30. Lesson learned. Also, they should stick to vehicle history. The prices they list on trade in value and prices for vehicles for sale are way off. The 40 years I have been driving, I have used Kelley Blue Book who are the industry standard, and are way more accurate. I’ll never trust this company again. BewareI purchased a report and the app gave me an error without ever delivering the report and directed me to the area in the app to submit feedback. I submitted feedback and it indicated they would reply soon. After 3 business days and 3 follow ups there were no responses. I submitted for a refund from Apple but they won’t refund in app purchases for this app. I went to CARFAX’s website and submitted for a refund but they claim it is Apple’s responsibility to issue refunds for in app purchases. I’m out $40 and got nothing for it. Don’t use this app. Update: after 5 days I finally got responses from the app and they refuse to refund but will manually run a report for me. Wrongfully reporting an accident on my vehicleI’m in the middle of selling my car and it was brought to my attention that carfax is reporting an accident on my car. My vehicle has never been in an accident. This blemish is hindering the sale of my vehicle, the buyer is backing out due to the inaccuracies of Carfax. I have reached out to carfax via their guidelines online for almost a week now. I have not received any Correspondence. The customer service for this company is horrible and for them to not have a customer service number that goes to show they are not in the business of dealing with discrepancies caused by them. Scammed by a Broken AppDo NOT spend any money with this platform until things are fixed. I signed up with my email address and purchased 1 carfax report to help someone better understand their car's service history. However, after paying $45 for a report, the application cannot run any reports, kicking back an error message every time that I try. Tried logging in with the same credentials in a browser session on a computer to find my purchased report isn't reflected in my profile at all. Support is not helpful either. They lieYour search filters may as well be suggestions for APT because you get what they want you to get. I have deleted this app numerous times and downloaded it again and again thinking I had made a mistake but it’s not mistake when you describe a vehicle with a sun/moonroof in your filter. The same feature is in the description but nowhere in any picture is there a sunroof/moonroof. Cons: The share options only send people a link to get the app. The filters button is also not where I would expect to find it. Half the app doesn’t workEvery time I go to filter my search and error pops up. The home page always comes up with zero results so I have to take 3 extra steps to get to a search. When you go to search for a vehicle it will not let you search by price, you must put in a body style, and when you put in more than one it will not allow you to save the search. After I found that out I waited for an update and since then a few have came out, but there is problem, every time it does update the app would crash. Way too laggy. And glitches everytime no matter what.I used to use CARFAX to look through cars and find my next purchase. All of a sudden there’s new “updates” and the app won’t even allow me to go on advanced filters it just froze my screen and even after deleting the app it kept happening. Everytime I leave a car post it lags and freezes. It’s such a simple thing that shouldn’t be happening so I suggest using any other app they’re way better. Oh and also it doesn’t let you save a car post it just glitches. It’s been super bad it’s not even useable..Keep’nitrealVersion: 6.42.0
