I’m very happy with this app. There are puzzles and letters and games and videos and emails with progress updates and worksheets to print and continue work offline. My kids enjoy it and actually learn from this one. The only drawback is that I need four users and it only allows for three. I’d have bought a subscription immediately if it’d allowed spaces for all of my young students.
SplashLearn is an absolutely fantastic app for toddlers! The engaging and colorful interface captures my child's attention right away. They love the interactive games and activities that make learning numbers, letters, and basic math concepts so much fun! The content is age-appropriate, and I appreciate how it adapts to my child's learning pace, ensuring that they stay challenged yet not overwhelmed. The progress tracking feature also helps me understand their strengths and areas for improvement. Additionally, the app includes a variety of subjects, keeping my little one excited to learn new things every day. It’s educational, entertaining, and user-friendly. SplashLearn has truly made learning a joy for my toddler, and I couldn't be happier with this app! Highly recommend it to all parents looking for a great educational tool!
I am thrilled with this toddler app! It has been a wonderful addition to my child's learning and playtime. The engaging content keeps my little one captivated, and I love how interactive it is. My child enjoys exploring the colorful graphics and fun activities, which make learning feel like a game. The app is user-friendly, allowing my toddler to navigate it easily on their own. I’ve noticed a positive boost in their cognitive skills and creativity since we started using it. Plus, I appreciate the safe environment it provides, free from ads and distractions. Overall, I highly recommend this app to any parent looking for a fun and educational tool for their child. It has truly made a difference in our daily routine!
My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves splash learn. There are so many different activities, including tracing letters and numbers, playing music, coloring, sorting shapes, etc. It seems to cover every area of early education that a 2 year old needs and the progression goes at an amazing pace so she is really learning the skills before moving onto something more advanced. I love knowing that she has a fun educational tool she can use to explore different learning styles that interest her most. We have tried 3-4 different programs and they are all still too advanced or slow paced for my daughter, except for SL! I would definitely recommend splash learn to everyone.
We use SplashLearn as an after-school practice tool a few times a week to reinforce what my child is learning and to revisit skills that need extra repetition. My child genuinely looks forward to it because the games are fun, the graphics are bright and engaging, and the challenges feel like little “missions” instead of boring worksheets. I also appreciate how clearly SplashLearn tracks progress and highlights exactly where support is needed. It fits well with our learning goals, builds confidence, and I’ve noticed stronger accuracy and less frustration with math and reading over time.

My almost three year old absolutely loves this app. I forgot I downloaded it and he found it on his iPad. He was getting frustrated because the free games weren’t enough for him. I bought the subscription and he would sit and play for hours if I let him. It’s low stimulation so he will set it down and go play with cars or something and come back later on his own, meaning I can also put the iPad away and he won’t have a tantrum. It helps me feel less guilty about screen time because I work remote full time and him having some screen time helps me get work done.
Splash Jr: Toddler Learning is an excellent app for young children, offering a fun and interactive way to learn essential skills. The vibrant colors, engaging animations, and simple yet effective activities keep little ones entertained while reinforcing concepts like letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. The interface is easy to navigate, making it perfect for toddlers to use independently or with a parent’s guidance. I love that the app combines education with entertainment, ensuring kids stay engaged while developing important early learning skills. It’s a great choice for parents looking for a high-quality learning tool for
When we first got it, I was unsure if it would be successful or if my daughter would have continued interest, but she proved me wrong. My daughter went from asking for instruction to independently figuring out numbers and counting. She found the sections and played the games until she figured them out. She found the books and loves to memorize them and listen to them. This app has helped so much where it has been difficult for me to figure out school time. My baby is 2 and she is already past level 40 and is way beyond her peers smart.
I know a lot of parents are against screen time for kids especially toddlers but this app is amazing. I am a teacher so I was looking for educational games for my 2 year old, mainly for travel options. This app has everything you may want as far as learning games (letters, numbers, shapes, math, language/sight words etc). My 2 year old successfully completed addition and subtraction equations by himself with any prompting from me. If that doesn’t tell you how amazing this app is then I don’t know what to tell you. I highly recommend!
My daughter became very interested in my IPad but me as a mom I felt like there was nothing on my iPad for her due to her only being 3 years old. I decided to download a whole bunch of kids learning games and Splash Jr was one of the many but Splash Jr was the only one my daughter showed interested in and loved! My daughter grabs my iPad and goes straight to the Splash Jr app on my iPad and she has learned SO much from the app. Beyond grateful that this app was created for little children’s development and entertainment. I would recommend Splash Jr to any toddler mom 😊
SplashLearn definitely helps us make the most out of screen time! We use an annual subscription, and it’s been a huge supplement for my four year old. She really loves the games and lessons, including the interactive classes they offer during the week. I like the feedback emails I get tracking her time, accuracy and progress. She is definitely ahead of the curve, and I think SplashLearn has been a big part of it. I also find it convenient that the app is easy for her to navigate on her own.
My 3 year old loves the different games on Splash Jr.! We originally downloaded it to use on the airplane for a 5+ hour flight to keep him entertained. Now we do about 10ish minutes per day. This is screen time I can get behind! I was shocked how quickly he was able to navigate the app himself. He really seems to be learning a lot, especially when it comes to tracing letters. I love that he’s being introduced to sight words, too. I do flash cards but this really reinforces his learning in a fun way.
This is my autistic two year old son’s favorite app! He has hyperlexia and loves all the number and letter learning games. He’s also less verbal but is always repeating the things that the cute little characters say. He has so much fun and I feel better about his screen time knowing that he’s learning and improving so much. He knows all of his letters and can count to 10 already and his occupational therapist is impressed with his fine motor skills, and I credit much of that to Splash Learn!
My toddler is 2 and a half and I’m amazed at how much she is learning from this app! She is doing math, tracing letters, matching games, learning body parts and so much more! I don’t usually like to subscribe to things but I’m so glad I did this! She asks to play it daily. I’m not one to let her spend a bunch of time in front of a screen, but with Splash Learn, I don’t mind as much! she’s entertained, and I can get household chores done. I will continue to subscribe to this app as she gets older. There is so much to do! We love Splash Learn!!
My 5 year autistic son is absolutely obsessed with this app. He can learn, enjoy different things, and just overall get so much from this app. I 100% recommend!!! I do wish the subscription was a bit cheaper, just because it’s something for children, however I’m willing to pay. I would offer more free games though, especially beings not everyone can afford extra for things like this. Even if you can only get the free version of this app, get it!
My two-year-old loves this game. It gives him several options to play. My only frustration is that after so long it says he’s exceeded his limit for the day. Is that something that we have to pay extra for? I already paid for the yearly subscription, so I’m not sure why I would still get a daily limit unless it was saying he had too much screen time in a day. Excellent app with a lot of variety.
First of all. My birthday is next Monday. Second of all. This doesn’t work for me plus it keeps kicking me off every time I get a problem wrong. Third of all. Every year it makes us sign in again I understand why. Cause u move grades but that’s not all what happened to me. What happened to me basically was it kept on kicking us off when we got a problem wrong or right it doesn’t matter it still done it we need u to fix that pls I’m now in the 5th grade.
I absolutely love this app for my kids. It’s interactive and engaging, beyond well thought out in their approach to teaching kids, and best of all my kids actually ask to play it! I love that they have a curriculum, live classes, and fun games where the kids are able to learn and practice their skills. I also LOVE the learning insights and recaps - it shows where my kids may need more practice and what they are excelling out. Highly recommend!
This has helped my 3 year old autistic son learn so much. He absolutely loves this app. Gets on his tablet every day just for this app. Has lots of fun games & activities. Even my older autistic son that’s 6 loves this app. He enjoys it with his brother . Super educational. Love it & definitely worth every dollar. Also my son now is saying all his letters , numbers, shapes & is trying to read because of this app helping him so much. It’s absolutely incredible.
This app is perfect to use as a reinforcement tool to help little ones want to learn and do more. My 3 year old daughter goes to her preschool in the daytime then when she comes home she says that she has homework and gets on this app and goes thru all of little games. She then goes to the english and math class every evening and learns more. The games are fun and very educational for her. It is worth the subscription fee for continuing education.
I’ve only been using SplashLearn for about two weeks with my 2-year-old, so we’re still in the early stages — but I wanted to share a quick, honest first impression. To start, I wasn’t sure if it would be suitable for a toddler, since SplashLearn is technically geared more toward preschool and early elementary ages. But I figured I’d give it a try just to see if anything clicked — and to my surprise, a few parts of it really did.
My daughter likes the cooking game and the driving game ( although it should be overhauled a little bit to actually have some skill involved) and she likes tracing the things and puzzles and coloring. This app has a lot to offer and if there was a lifetime app purchase option I would consider it. I would also like it to have a reading section where basic sentences are highlighted as the words are read out loud.
My son is 3 and is autistic. We have trouble finding things to play that he likes and that keeps his attention. We’ve been using this one for about a year now and he loves it. It isn’t overstimulating for him but is still fun and has helped him learn so many things. He’s even communicating more (which we had trouble with and he’s in therapy for). Other games come and go but this one always stays on my phone!
I don’t usually subscribe to learning apps but my 4 year old loved it from the free stuff that I had to subscribe. She stays interested in learning and wants to succeed. I don’t worry about whether she’s playing with it because she is learning with every activity. I also enjoy the emails informing me of how she’s doing and what she spends her time on and accuracy. So far so good and can’t wait to see what else she learns.
Okay, so there’s this thing that’s happening... Basically, when I’m answering a question, sometimes the answers get wide, and it goes off screen. Since it goes off screen, I can’t see the answers, and I have to close the app, turn off the tablet, and turn it back on again to fix it. It’s really annoying, and I hope you see this review soon so you can fix this glitch, thanks!
Got this for my daughter almost a year ago (shes almost 4) She LOVES all the learning games and it has helped her learn to write and name letters and numbers! She now spells out words she sees around us all the time to ask what they say and can write ALL 26 letters! We will definitely be keeping this learning app for her! The directions are easy for her to understand i can get her set up and she just goes about learning
My toddler loves playing this game, and I love that there are a lot of different options for games depending what he wants to play! A big plus is that there are no ads interrupting your play like most children’s games I’ve tried. Although, I wish you got more than 2 games a day with the free trial version because he goes through that quick sometimes!
I highly recommend this app! We’ve been using this for almost a year for my 3yo who struggles with speech. He is saying more words than before! He also has improved with his fine motor skills! This all has also helped with him reading and math as well! My son has improved so much and I’m just thankful this app helped break it down for him to understand!
My 4 year old toddler loves this app. He enjoys the easy way he can navigate through different games. He enjoys the learning aspect and he has enhanced his learning skills he is getting from school also. My son only gets some tablet time so when he does it’s usually to play the game and he takes full advantage. I definitely recommend this app for kids learning.
I have a 2 year old and she loves this app - she likes the puzzles and the car driving and the coloring. The cooking game might be her favorite- i would love a lifetime app purchase option as i think i can use this one in the future unlike some of the apps for 2 year olds. I see some games that would be good for the 3-4 year olds as well and idk if the app advances beyond that.
We have been using this app for about 6 months now and my daughter really enjoys playing he games and learning while she’s doing it. She’s gotten so much better with tracing her letters and numbers. She’s only 3 and she can count to 20 by herself knows all her ABC’s. We are still working on adding and subtracting but she’s definitely getting better using Splash Jr. app
I have a 4 and 2 year old, they both enjoyed this app a lot. Will definitely be keeping it around! One of the best learning apps I’ve found. They also have options for live teachers with fun interactive games and activities. As well as a learning map full of fun activities as they continue on their learning journey!
My child loves Splash Jr. He is so engaged and does not realize how much he is learning. The app allows me to monitor his progress, and I can easily identify areas that he needs improvement. The app makes progress monitoring so easy to understand. I love the technical aspects too. The movement on the screen is not too fast or flashy, and there are no lags either. Great investment!
My toddler seeks attention a lot and as a busy mom and full time student, it’s a little difficult to balance life and school work. I showed my toddler how to start playing a couple games and he LOVES it! The games are so engaging and I truly feel he will learn so so much. I love how I get email updates and even worksheets I can download so he can practice more on letters and numbers!
I recently downloaded this kids' app on my iPhone, and I have to say, it's been an absolute hit with my little one! The app is super intuitive, easy to navigate, and filled with engaging content. The design is colorful and visually appealing, with animations that keep children entertained while they learn.
When I tell you at first I didn’t think this app was working because my child was very adamant about not paying attention. but now she plays the games on the app all the time. she loves to trace her letters and numbers. this app has definitely made a difference in her learning. I catch her opening. the app some days and doing the work herself.
SplashLearn has been a fantastic app for our 3 year old. We let him use it after school, and it keeps him engaged without making him feel glued to the screen. He especially enjoys the color matching, shape matching, and coloring games. As a parent, I really appreciate the progress reports they give great insight into how he’s improving and what he’s learning.
This app has been amazing for both of my kids. They’ve truly enjoyed learning more math & thinking skills. It’s easy to use for them to change the classes and games. We tried the free trial out and enjoyed it so much we bought the premium version. This has been the best learning up we’ve used for our 3 & 5 year old.
I got this app over a year ago, and my daughter loves it. She has learned so much from it, and we enjoy it too. It’s easy to use and navigate, and she looks forward to getting on her tablet to play the learning games. You definitely won’t regret getting this app; your child will love it and learn a lot from it!
My son will be starting kindergarten in a few weeks and this app has helped him prepare. He constantly asks to play and then asks for Math and English activities. He will say math facts for fun in the car and he will sound out more words to write things on our fridge white board. I’m so excited for him to use these skills in kindergarten!!!
I wanted to find a tablet activity for my son to use that was learning based. My son is 2 years old and I can see an increase in his better recognition and numbers. I also appreciate the fact I get emails with updates with his progress and which subjects he is doing well in.
My son is 3, will be 4 in February. I downloaded the app to help him start learning before he starts pre K 4. The app is easy to work and my son loves it. He has started saying more things and knows a lot more in just a matter of a few days. The app also allows you to set times for them to get on the app and practice!
My little one started showing major improvement in her letters and numbers in just a few short days! She’s counting in larger quantities, recognizing a few select letters and started to understand additional and subtraction at age 4! Definitely worth the $12 monthly subscription in my opinion!
My 3 year old has been been learning so much & having fun at the same time with this app. It has a lot of great games, books, coloring options to choose from. Shape matching, tracing, and so much more! If you’re gonna allow screen time this is the only thing they need to be doing!
My four year old has loved to use Splash Learn. He likes the different games that help him learn his letters and numbers. He likes to be able to color the different pictures and play music. I like receiving the emails that shows me what he has mastered and the time that it took for him to complete the task.
My 3 year old loves this app! She plays on it just about every day since we purchased it. Although we try to reduce screen time, she can easily navigate through it and is always learning how to do something new. It’s one of her favorites. The price for the app is comparable to other apps like it.
SplashLearn has been fantastic for my child's learning journey! The fun games and cool graphics keep them engaged, making after-school practice enjoyable. I especially appreciate the progress tracking and how it builds confidence. It's a great app for all subjects and truly makes learning enjoyable. Highly recommend!
As a parent, I love the progress tracking features. I can clearly see which topics she’s excelling in and where she needs more practice. It’s aligned with her school curriculum, so I know she’s on the right path. Plus, I’ve noticed a real boost in her confidence and performance at school since we started using it.
It's pretty good I've been using it for just five minutes and I AACCULY learn stuff...in other stuff you don't learn but pls pls pls stop with the ad to get the yearly plan because I already wasted half of my wallet!!😖😁😐BYE!!😉🌈🦄💩
Helpful to some students to achieve some outcomes they were finding difficult.
This is the best game ever. I'm in grade 5 and it's not too, hard but it's kinda easy
Totally recommend this app, it’s challenging and fun!
It makes learning fun. It's like playing games but if you try it you will fill the same way. And I can bet on that.
Really. By far the best Math apps on device! The reason the fifth star is not yellowed is because technology always have room for improvement! Using it for three years this year is our fourth.
Splash math is a cool app
It is a nice learning game
Splash Jr: Toddler Games 2-4 Negative Reviews and Ratings
WARNING: Do not read this review if it is over 2 months old. By then, the problems I have described might be fixed. If you are reading this on or past October 5th 2025, please stop reading. Thank you. This app is ok, but a few things. I use this for my 3 year old sister, and she LOVES it. The reason this gets 2 stars, however, is because of a daily limit. We have the free version of Splash Jr, and she only gets 2 lessons a day, when there are 5 in the daily curriculum. Therefore, she only gets one lesson for reading and one for mathematics. I think this is a bit unfair, as she wants to do more lessons, and because we can’t afford to pay for premium, she can’t. I’d say if you are planning on using this app more than once a day, make sure you can pay for premium, because this app is pointless without it. Also, without paying, she can be in one live class, but can’t use chat, so can’t communicate with her teacher. We tried it out once, and her teacher, Miss Esther, was so sweet, trying to help troubleshoot, but in the end neither of us could do anything. If you are wanting this app, MAKE SURE YOU CAN PAY FOR PREMIUM. Until the devs are kind enough to care about people who can’t pay premium, I will be finding her another app. If the developers are reading this, please make it at least 10 free lessons, 5 for reading and 5 for math, and/or make a sponsoring program like the one on Finch. Thank you for your time, and have a lovely rest of your day.
I love this app I’m when I first started it, and I was exiting to get better at math for better grades at my school, but then when I wanted to learn division, I tapped start and it said “Free Trial” I wanted to do that and my mom was shocked because it was so expensive, and I was wondering if you can make it free for everything because you don’t need to pay to learn, it needs to be free because all people in the world need to learn, and some people can’t afford it, so I was asking if you can make it free, I really wanna learn more but now you made me mad and sad. :(
The program is great but grade 4 and 5 is constantly glitching which is extremely frustrating...why can’t you fix this?? It has been happening for far too long. I am finally researching alternatives after using your program with two children for five years!
This app is stupid. U have to pay for everything. Don’t get.
The questions are WAY too hard for my son in grade 4. He's 9! He doesn’t understand what 2/4 over 3/5 means! And in what country do you learn ALGEBRA in grade 4!? Why is that even on there!? Plus, 5 minutes in, he got BOMBARDED with pop ups and telling us to subscribe! Stupid!!
Horrible pop up ads for subscriptions. We couldn’t even get a feel for the app, without being bombarded with subscriptions pop-up loops and losing interest
Download is “free” until it nags you to death or you get 5 minutes in. Not free, not fun.
I did’t have time to really appreciate the apps on the free trial to pay for it. It look like a good apps but it very expensive 12$ a month are you serious.
You have to buy a package to get a free trail. Therefore not really free.
Please make the game easier please remove the hippo.it’s too hard in the grade 5 part and I’m in grade 5!!! So make the game easier then I’ll enjoy it.or maybe you wont cuz you don’t update the game regularly.so make the game easier not harder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡
Lame don't get and 15$ for unlocking more questions boo
I like how Splash Pad automatically sends out report cards to send out records of how students are achieving.
Very challenging math app...
