Fun, needs improvementThere is no introduction or tutorial for new players. After finding a hidden "How to Play" menu, you are then shown a bunch of pictures with rules. It's like having a game throw every rule at you at one time, before you even play. My next main problem with the game is the purchasing of song packs. There's no reason to have to have to buy these songs in packs of 4 which are pre-selected. Often there's only 1 song in the pack I like, but I'm not about to spend $4 on one song I want!.TheKarateKiddVersion: 4.5.2

Amazing game, but somethings off.I actually like this game and I a rhythm game. My favorite, but there is something wrong with the RIVAL strength. You see there is 1-10 which 1 is the weakest (for new players) and 10 (for only challenging players who wants to tie the rival). Good and badAs a rhythm game professional, I rank the game six out of ten. The game is fun, but lacking. There is a computer opponent at the top of the screen, making it almost necessary to have same-device multiplayer. The good: The game is very entertaining and addictive, giving little tutorial so players can figure out the controls. The bad: There is no same-device multiplayer. There are only three free songs, this would be acceptable if the song packs were a little less pricey. Take Osu! for example. There are about seven free songs with new packs costing ninety-nine cents. The packs here cost near four dollars. I really wish I could give this a five out of five. Amazing Game, but Needs MoreDon't get me wrong; this is undoubtedly one of my favorite rhythm games ever. I especially love the new Limelight theme—seeing it when I open the app makes me so happy! However, I think the game would be so much better if there were a few songs that you could unlock. Reflec Beat in USA = AWESOME!!Reflect Beat is finally available in the USA. Thank you, Konami. This is one of the best music rhythm games ever released and is now available on iOS. The game features simple and addictive game mechanics that the player will quickly realize is much deeper through the more difficult levels. The music selection has one of the best selections. Only a few songs come for free but already two song packs are available with many to come. The packs are justifiably priced in a similar fashion to their other great music rhythm iOS game, Jukebeat. Reflect Beat even features a fun competitive two player mode, only one iOS device required. This game really shines on the iPad. This is a game that is easy to pick up and learn to play but as you attempt the more difficult levels you will consistently try to master the skills and better your score. 5 stars all they way Konami. Fantastic !I own the Japanese version already, and now that the US Finally gets this game it'll make my purchasing of song packs easier x.x... Though I'm pretty sure due to licensing issues, some packs might not make it. But over all this version of the game has my full support. Already bought both song packs and moving my way up the leader boards. The current song selection is superb. I didn't really like the terrible licensed songs released on jukebeat, hope the licensed songs are bit more on modern music than constant rehashed 80's songs that are in practically every US konami game.... Won't work anymoreI love this game, but it won't open on my iPad anymore, and I've purchased quite a few song packs. It just stopped loading, and says that it can't find a network connection for a mandatory update, but everything else on my device works fine. I've tested it on my iPhone and other iPad, and it still works fine too. Maybe it's an issue with the iPad mini? Not sure, but either way, I'm not happy about it. Go Bemani!What an amazing surprise to see this! Konami did a great job with this port, and offered some good songs to start with that really convey the true music library that Bemani games offer. Also the music packs available are a great assortment, with emphasis on IIDX regulars like Kors K, Ryu, and Nekomatta Master. First the Knit update for Jubeat, now a great port of ReflecBeat? Great GameI really love this game but I really wish that there were more songs. Awesome gameI was a bit skeptical when I first played but this game is crazy addictive. The J-Pop songs are a throwback to the days of DDR and the multiplayer function is really fun. Hitbox glitchesMaybe this game finally being released in US means those of us here can finally let Konami know that there is a HUGE issue with the hitbox of chain notes, where hitting notes near each other that are too quick in succession can result in the game registering you as hitting the second note first, giving you a good, and causing you to get a good or flat out miss the first note at no fault of the player. Glad to see this finally here, but this bug is the reason I have yet to update the japanese version of reflecbeat plus, and is a deal breaker. Needs more content!Reflec Beat is another wonderful entry in the Bemani series, but this is a very lazy port that needs more attention from Konami. With only 3 songs available from the start, and only 12 songs available (in packs of four unfortunately) for purchase nine months later, it doesn't seem that this game will go anywhere. This is a shame, since there are literally hundreds of great songs to draw from in the arcade versions. Also, while minor, this game has several localization errors, and lacks retina support. Buying Packs Doesn't Work For MeSo I introduced this game to my sister and we played on the multiplayer feature and that was great. However later on, we went to the game's store because we wanted to buy a music pack, but it wouldn't let us on both my sister's and my iTunes account and an error showed up the three times we tried. A few days later, we check our banking account info and see that the game charged us both for the music pack (my sister twice and me once), however, it didn't show at all on my iPad. More songs to play free please..Overall the game is fun and has an interesting concept behind the rhythm game mechanism, but last time I downloaded this, there were only 3 free songs to play, and every other song or song bundle required purchase in order to play more songs. It's a waste of money for the customers buy more songs since the game limited it to 3 free songs. If there were more songs, or even unlock new songs while playing, that would attract more people.
