Fun game!I really like the game play. It’s fun and easy to pick up. I wish I could change the difficulty level for season mode though. It only goes up one level after each season and it starts off way too easy. Some annoying things: They do maintenance in the early evening when I tend to play the most. Makes no sense. Do it early in the morning instead. After you finish a game and they show you your rewards you have to tap the screen like 5 times to get through it all…so annoying. I don’t need to see all that after every game. Just show it all once and remove it after one tap. Overall though, I love it. I haven’t played a game on my phone this much since candy crush came out lol.JohizzleVersion: 2.3.1

Good Game, But SmallRarely do I ever do reviews for games or mobile apps. But this one seems like it deserves it. Yes, it has the normal Gacha aspect to where you have to gamble for certain players but overall the game is extremely fun and is better than other baseball games. I played on the phone. The graphics are incredible. The replay system is very fun and on top of all of that the events are very well-made. There’s not very many people playing in total…..so when I’m trying to get on and play a ranked game I’ve been sitting in my kitchen for 20 minutes. Waiting to find a match, but nobody else is playing…. Bottom line the game is good and I believe should have a good basis, but because it doesn’t have enough players to keep an online matchmaking consistent. it’ll fall through pretty fast….. and I think that’s sad. The Japanese game comes to MLB!I’ve been playing Konami Japanese (NPB) baseball games for 30 years, so this is probably a bit biased. This is essentially the MLB version of “Pro Yakyu Spirits A,” a mobile “Build Your Own Team” version of “Pro Yakyu Spirits,” which is a realistic gameplay person of “Powerful Pro Yakyu,” which is known in the US as “Power Pros.” The good news is that the game is pretty much exactly the same as the Japanese version (down to a few awkward translations of Japanese baseball phrases 🤣). Konami baseball gameplay has always been my favorite because it shows you exactly where the ball goes and exactly where you are swinging. The one thing I wish they had kept exactly is the player contract ranks being S, A, B, C instead of IV III II I. Like the Japanese game, it can take a very long time to build up a good team, as there are at least 3 ways to level up a player to their full potential. Like the Japanese game, it’s free to play, zero ads, you only spend money if you want diamonds (which would accelerate building your team because it’s the main thing used to get new players). Anyway, it has its quirks like any mobile baseball game, but to me, the Japanese version is arguably the best mobile baseball game out there, and the MLB version has kept almost everything, definitely recommended!.JimlapbapVersion: 1.0.0

Fantastic game!Game is a lot of fun and while it is a bit tedious to get more diamonds after you clear all the seasons, you can get a free G-IV, which is the top grade, player from the current contract each week from the weekly event. You can also switch between highlights, which is a couple key At-Bats per game, as well as playing the full game with every At-Bat or even just auto playing the game depending on how much time you have to play. If you aren’t planning to spend money like myself, it can take you a bit to get a full team of G-IV players. But, if you can hold your wallet and just wait for a contract you want as well as clearing the weekly event, it’ll take about a month. Konami also will give out freebies to the players with some of them also being free G-IV contracts which can help you tremendously. Would definitely recommend!.Dodger CrashoutVersion: 1.3.0

Glad to see it back…but needs one fixI’m so glad to see that Konami is back with a new baseball game. The graphics and gameplay are very fun and fast paced. There are however two issues I see in the game. One hitting feels really really hard. Is it possible to make the hitting a tad easier? Two and this isn’t so much a problem as much as a suggestion. Is it possible to add a landscape camera mode to game. That might also help hitting feel better too. Seeing as how in portrait mode the pitches feel so fast that you can’t move the reticle fast enough to different areas of the strike zone to get ready to hit. If you could either adjust the hitting difficulty or add a landscape camera mode, I think you’ll be in great shape. Heck maybe make an option for simple tap timing or use the zone mechanic that’s already available in non-online modes available in online. All in all though this game is very fun and I’m glad to see a new Konami baseball game after all this time. 👍👍👍 PS: Maybe you could even bring this to consoles like efootball. Good could be great.Despite its limitations, this game effectively employs a “fantasy” team builder approach. If Konami had adopted a more simulation-oriented direction, it could easily become the superior mobile MLB game. While the graphics are commendable, some textures could be enhanced. In terms of players, it excels in replicating MLB players, surpassing any other game in this regard. However, gameplay is severely restricted even in Full Play mode, excluding fielding, throwing on defense, and base running. Surprisingly, the commentary for a mobile game is surprisingly good, particularly in this aspect. By far the best baseball game app.I’m surprised this app isn’t more popular. The gameplay is fantastic and ACTUALLY challenging. Most baseball apps are just too simple and easy, resulting in boredom fairly quickly. But here, batting and pitching mechanics are quite challenging, resulting in a larger variety of competition and skill. My only small issue is the app should allow you to peruse around while you are searching for an online match. It often takes a long time to find an opponent, so it would be helpful to be able to work on roster and so forth while searching for a match. One of the best baseball games I’ve ever playedHighly recommend trying. I had low expectations but was blown away by how good the baseball gameplay is. Have yet to read a negative review that actually makes sense. You can absolutely play full games. You can tune the gameplay speed and pitch speed to be more realistic or to your preference. You cannot field or do baserunning besides ordering steals, but I actually prefer this so I don’t have to micromanage or worry about my skills. So much potential!!This has the ground work laid to be not only the best mobile baseball game but probably the best sports game period. They just have to figure out the hitting, I’ve played 8 online pvp games which are only 2 innings with 1 extra inning and I’ve yet to see a run scored. I thought maybe it was just me but nobody is scoring runs. It’s kinda of annoying too, you can tie 0-0 and still lose because they give you points for hits, strikeouts, ect. Needs a No Doubt Home Run animation, new players and old playersSo far, I’ve been enjoying the game and since it has the same gameplay as Baseball Spirits, it was perfect for me to play a new baseball game. I hope that you’ll add in players that have secondary positions to mix and match players on the roster. Also, add in players who used to play for different teams before their current teams, like Mookie Betts on the Red Sox. The inclusion of a Home Run Derby is also warranted, and a batting practice option to help with the timing and finding the sweet spots to hit dingers and the like. Fun game but too many updatesJust play the game and you’ll see how fun it is. The attention to detail regarding the players, the sounds, the stadium…is great. Pretty clean UI as well. My only gripe is how frequently the game is unplayable for 2 hours minimum seemingly every other day because of event and contract updates. 2 hours downtime seems too long honestly, an update can be patched in in just a few minutes right? Best Baseball on phonesThis is by far the best baseball game I’ve played on a phone. Well, I play in on my tablet actually but it’s the same game. Really realistic and I never feel like the games cheating. You can play offense or defense or both. Gives you the ability to sim past the pitching or hitting. Also, if it’s a blow out you can sim to the end of the game. That’s a great feature. I’ve played it daily for weeks now and haven’t got bored with it yet. It’s OkI don’t hate it, but it isn’t the best game either. The hitting system is wayyyy to easy. With zone, it doesn’t even matter if you have the sweet spot not on the ball, you still can have a good hit if your timing is good. The contact and power swing systems are ok also, I don’t like how it tells you exactly where the pitch is going to be, I would rather if it gives you a general area. Good, but ridiculously easy.Game is great, love it and it’s easily the best mlb branded game. Second to only baseball 9 in my opinion, for one simple reason. Games can actually be close in Baseball 9. I have to physically try and lose in this game to even get under 20 runs a game. I love playing the whole 9 innings, and I think just mindlessly auto playing is boring. But, it gets rough when you’re blowing every team out by 40 runs. That’s my only gripe. Awsome Game but please readI love that the game is fast paced and super fun but what i really wish and bothers me a lot is that you can’t see the players full stats. Forfeit Confirmation?I like the game, but there have been multiple times that I accidentally hit the forfeit button instead of the continue button when returning to a game I was winning. Great game, but glitchThere is a glitch in the Citi Field, I hit barely the top of the wall on far left field, right next to the foul line, and it became a home run. Great game, but why are you giving the opposing team runs for absolutely no reason AT ALL?In my opinion, this is an addicting and fun game to play. But when I get in that screen where it shows my score and the field with different types of outs, (whatever you call it) it gives the opposing team RUNS!!! So close to being greatThe game is beautiful and there are enough game modes to keep things interesting. The only drawback is the speed of online play. Great graphics Difficult to PlayThis is a fun game when you play Season games. Batting is okay in Season Play but awful in Online game. The pitches are too fast and you do not have time to adjust bat to hit the ball. I would play more often if there were actual instructions or assistance in the game. Horrible is an understatementThis is not a good game at all! When you play in matchmaking against others in the online option , it takes forever for the app to match you to play another player. Then when you finally get matched , you are instantly disconnected and then giving a lost. The icing on the cake is then they will suspend you from gameplay claiming they have detected harassment in game play because the system thinks you are the one disconnecting during gameplay. I emailed them about this issue and their response email stated that when in this mode I “should not move at all while playing on the app on my phone and further issues will result in a complete ban of using the app” Wow! So the other player disconnects during the game, I get the lost, I get restricted from gameplay and then when I contact them about this issue, rather then them fixing the issue , I am told to “not move at all while on my phone while using the app and threaten to be banned from the app. Needless to say I’m deleting the app immediately. Honest ReviewThis game could be super fun the design is simple and nice, I have enjoyed it, but a few things definitely should be fixed or added. I personally play the season mode and at first it was super fun, but it makes you sim through and you only get to play a few moments in the game. Sometimes your first chance to play you’re down 7-10 points already. It says if you make big moments count you can come back and win but thats really not true I have hit a home-run and they still got another 3-5 points then I lose just because the game made it that way. Horrible RNGThe point of wasting multiple days for a free contract is to get a good player—that’s not the case here. I do the weekly events all the time and I don’t get anything good from the contract at the end of events. This goes for gem spending too. I spent so much gems on multiple contracts and got absolutely nothing from them…thanks a lot. It takes like 2 weeks to get 250 gems just for it to be worth nothing. I’ve been on a misfortune streak for the past month or two… I can’t catch a break. Great game but unplayableI’ve never left a review before on an app but I felt like I had to for this game, I kept seeing ads for this game so I finally decided to download it. After downloading it then having to wait 4 minutes for the data to download in game I was ready to play, I played for an hour before I got off and it was super fun. The next day I log back in there’s another update and I have to wait 12 minutes… I was kinda frustrated so I waited the 12 minutes then continued to play for some time. Why have teams?Good graphics, good gameplay but I rated it a 1. I picked to play as my team but that team maybe had 1 player from the actual team. I would like the players from that team, since I would use only those players but I’ve got tons of players who belong on other teams. 2 pretty big problemsNumber 1, every time a pitch is hit my infielders will sit still and stare blankly for 3 seconds before finally going after the ball. This has caused what would normally be outs at first to turn into doubles and sometimes even a run scored and it is impossible to play the game like this. Number 2, when resuming a game it doesn’t matter if I’m a batter or a pitcher, the HUD for some reason completely disappears and then comes back the next pitch or the next at bat but it’s still really annoying to not know what pitch your throwing or if the ball is in the zone..BooptheslothVersion: 2.3.0

Its okIt’s only fun when you can bat using the zone setting. It’s impossible to hit any other way. So playing online or in certain types of games the game is horrible. This greatly limits the app and once you play a few seasons it loses it’s value or entertainment. Already bored with it. Fun to play if you are just sitting around with nothing to do or traveling maybe. Fix the online hitting functionality or allow zone hitting and you have a great game. PointlessThe game is won and lost all by whatever the game decides to do. You play no role as the scores automatically jump from losing to winning by 10 runs. What the heck! The pitching is also atrocious. Regardless of wherever you place the ball in the zone, the pitches aren’t going there. The only fun part of the game is the hitting.
