BEST APP EVER-will save you hundreds of dollars!!Email I sent to the developer: THANK YOU for years of saving me money on speeding tickets. Your awesomely, excellent app has saved me literally hundreds if not thousands of dollars in speeding tickets. Let me explain. I drive for rideshare in New York City and there are quite literally HUNDREDS of speed cameras disbursed around the City waiting for people to merely go over 34 mph in 25 mph zones and then render you a ticket for $50 and $75 if it’s late. The only time I got a ticket under this scam was when I was not using your app. Otherwise, your app is the first app I turn on when first entering the City. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are doing a wonderful public service. The way I personally use it is to set up a 6 mph buffer after I press my speed limit for a particular road. I used to use a 7 mph buffer but felt the 6 controls for the lag the GPS might naturally take. Nevertheless, as soon as I hear that siren, my muscle memory is such that I naturally take my foot off the accelerator and within seconds I’m within a safe range for the posted speed zone. Amazing app and even better user support!I have had this app for several years and have used it off and on. It has a lot of features and can be a little overwhelming at first to go through all the setting and get setup initially. With that being said if I could give this app and it’s developer (shout out to Stan the man) 10 stars I would. The developers website is full of useful information on how to set up the app and decent descriptions of all of its features. If that isn’t enough the developer, Stan, reads every email and his response time is impeccable! I have seen speedometer apps on the App Store with less than 1/8 of the features for up to $30 cost or require a monthly subscription fee. For $3.99 this app polite them all to shame and if used correctly could save you lots of money in disputing a falsely accused speeding violation. I personally think everyone that owns an iPhone and drives should have this app! Best GPS app with amazing featuresPaying for the pro version is a great investment as it opens up so many features, most important of which is background logging. So far I have used it over 5,100 Miles, including a 3,500 Miles road trip to key west and back to NYC and am so happy. The app developer Stan is super helpful and always responds to support requests within 24 hours. He updated the app to support my new iPhone X very quickly and the new layout for X is beautiful. Very nicely utilized space and amazing graphics. I switch it on before driving and close it when I have done and I have accurate route and distance logs (helps with expense claims when driving for work or general exploration during road trips). This is an app that serves multiple needs - digital speed display, background logging of routes, logs (black box) and speeding alert (at whatever limit you set). Originally I Wanted the Best GPS SpeedometerThe GPS Speedometer is just the tip of what this app has in store for the user. The screens to enter the cost of your annual maintenance, fuel consumption, and ongoing usage calculate the re-time cost of each mile you drive. I can upload each trip to my cloud drive and keep track of which business, volunteer, or other purpose the trip was for. Importing this data into Quicken for taxes will be smooth, even though I have changed vehicles this year. I drive hundreds of thousands of miles a year. I travel all around the country daily for my service job keeping the Railroads moving and i deliver heavy trucks and heavy cranes that we build. Every day or most every day i reset the counters and track my path. The government does it already but i don't have a copy of my own with out this app. When ever i pass a "pig" lying in wait to steal from his next victim i tap the waypoint and that way i have a recored time stamp incase that coward comes after to steal from me. In the several times over the years i have been "pulled over" and attempted to be robbed i have followed simple principals. 1) keep my mouth shut and my window open but not enough to reach in. And only answer what i am legally required to tell the coward thief. 2) "go pro start recording" in german 3) keep a gps log. 4) after the attempted theft if it was for speeding i save the track and label it and start a new fresh track and email it to myself. Very accurate.The paid version I know for sure is relatively accurate. All info is pretty much right on. Plus I can make my own maps and lots of other features I didn’t know I wanted. Built in music player plays your Apple Music as well. You can also let it run in the background so it doesn’t demand so much of your phone and that lets you have anything on your screen or nothing at all and app still is working exactly as it would up and running in your face. Just without the repetition of flashing lights and such is why I run it in the background. I work nights so it’s dark when I ride. Must have app!To be honest I have had this app for over a year and mainly bought it for the heads up feature. Most recently I revisited the app out of frustrations when taking a trip that consisted of three days on the road and passing through seven states. This app is the real deal. More than just a heads up display. You can cover your cost of fuel, alert you when speeding, track you, compass, alert family members where you are and so many other features that it's almost better that you down load it for free and do a walk through of the app which by the way the platform is flawless. Great for motorcyclesAfter I did a cafe conversion on my motorcycle, and it left me looking for an aftermarket speedometer. I decided to try using an app instead as an experiment. Instead of dropping a whole lot of coin for some big clunky dial, I decided to give this a try. (A few bucks for the app was worth the experiment). I got way more than that with this app. This app has so many great settings to make it a very personal tool for going on long rides and keeping track of gas, miles, places I visit, etc. The downloadable maps in the pro version is pretty awesome bonus. Fantastic toolI came across this app strictly by accident. I can’t rave enough about all the options that are in there, in fact there are so many options. I haven’t even used them all yet. The one that I mostly use is the rally tool because it offers me, total amount of time, distance traveled, average speed, and 100% GPS accuracy. I have tested the miles per hour against radar guns and every single time. It comes up with the exact same number that I’m traveling. When I go into zones that are monitored by an automated speed machine. My speed is always accurate to the display that I’m passing. I’m very happy with this appWe have a prosecutorial type safety officer who causes trouble over infractions. I was coughing, and I exceeded the speed limit for a few seconds, no kindness, no understanding only threatening response. However, I downloaded this app immediately after his actions. And already it has shown itself to be a permanent solution for accidental speeding. A very loud alarm goes off. It is set to be louder than anything that could be playing on the phone.. Accurate SpeedI’ve been using this app for a couple of years. My speedometer quit working so I was looking for a cheap solution and this works great. Be sure to double check your settings though. I got pulled over doing 73 in a 75. I didn’t get a ticket! The officer just said obviously you’re having some issues...lol. I was very convincing because I knew I wasn’t speeding. Simply the BestThis is the most comprehensive speedometer app I’ve found. Very customizable for your specific needs. I use the seed limit alarm all the time while driving. I have Google Maps running in the background while using Speedometer 55. The two work well together. I have noticed that my GPS speed does not exactly agree with my vehicle’s speedometer. One vehicle under reports my actual speed. It’s good to know what your true speed is when pushing the envelope when cruising above the posted speed limit. Fantastic "All-in-One" AppI use this App on an iPad Mini 3 on a Ram Mount on my Motorcycle. The Speed display is large an easily readable at a glance. I like that I can also have my iPod player on the same screen as the rest of my info and Speed. No fumbling between apps. The Full screen options, and the configuration options in general, are fantastic and lets you display the Data you want. Compass, Altimeter, even speed limit presets that alert you if you exceed a certain speed! G-force info is neat too. Most amazing speedometer app ever!I use this app all the time when I go for bike rides. Speedometer works great, I like the setup of the page, and it is completely accurate. I tested it in my car and it gave me the same speed as my built in speedometer in my vehicle. The settings take some time to learn to navigate but you’ll figure it out eventually. I’ve had this app for a couple months now and just recently got the pro version. The only thing that I am curious about is to how you can add up to 8 different speed limits as shown in the picture above. Works great!Had this app running when I was stopped for speeding. The officer said i was going 68 in a 55 mph zone. I saved the Black Box file and took it to court to show that I was in fact going below the posted speed limit. They took one look at the printout that shows time/date stamp, location, speed and altitude, and dismissed the case. The app is a great way to keep track of all your travel records, speed, mileage, gas usage, etc., but as I stated above, it will also aide you in proving innocence in the case of a speeding ticket. Nice gpsNice accurate gps and love all the extra stats. I build and ride motorized bikes so it’s nice to know how many miles I have on a bike and average speed. Just payed for the app to use the multi trip function so I can have all 3 of my bikes on the app and they will stay tracked. Incredibly accurate!This app saved me on a cross country trip. I bought a car out of state not knowing the speedometer was broken. Impressive and effectiveThis is an extremely capable and sophisticated application. I downloaded it a couple of years ago and really didn’t use it much until just recently. I needed a replacement for my MileIQ app, that charged a hefty annual fee to track my mileage. I discovered by accident that speedometer indeed tracks mileage and can even categorize and print out reports for tax purposes. The app provides 50 free automatic tracking functions, which is pretty generous. However, I wanted more and not have to worry about missing a mileage track. Their monthly subscription fee for unlimited automatic tracking is ridiculously cheap. I also found that compared to expensive paid mileage tracking apps, this speedometer application is far more accurate. If you a geeky kind of nerdy guy like me (or girl), give this app a try. AccuracySpeedometer app is accurate in all areas. While on a flight from Seattle to Dallas the Speedometer app correctly stated our speed at 409 mph which corresponded to the pilots announced aircraft speed, I then lost cell service & gps connection. Loyal Co PilotI just drove 1500 miles in a 55 year old car with no heater and no speedometer. Great appA few years ago I was driving my 1956 Chevrolet Nomad on a road trip and the fuel gauge failed, no real problem I could estimate the fuel consumption by mileage. Then the darned speedometer quit working. I found this App and and it was a godsend it allowed me to estimate my usage by mileage and kept me driving at the recommended limit. Best RV travel toolI used this app for east-west coast round-robin trips. It rally’s my trip time and distances between drivers! Used to be greatThis is an invaluable app that has a lot of useful features. Unfortunately over the years they have added so many extras that it has become too easy for settings to be changed. It has become overly complicated. They need to make all of the extras downloadable. Also there needs to be a lockout mode. I have had a few encounters where my phone slid and changed settings while driving and this can get dangerous. With the latest update instead of giving us a lock settings feature they have made the main screen malfunction when using it to monitor speed. I regretfully am now looking for other apps to suit my needs. I loved the setup I had but it is no longer an option..Deman671Version: 4.7

No Speed AppearsI have used the free version of this app for a couple of years with no problems but all of a sudden, on a TGV train trip I’m France, it stopped working. I then paid for the “Pro” version, thinking that might help but $17 later it is exactly the same. My location shows up on the map and google maps, apple maps and every other GPS based app works fine. Location services are set to Always for this app but the gps light is red.
