Near perfectI love this app!!!! It is exactly what I wanted and needed... it’s so easy to use. I set up my own lists for my favorites (only because I couldn’t figure how to favorite things-yet) and added the costs... copy and move to the active grocery list and reordering so the lists are alphabetical- critical for someone who is ocd on these things. Two things that make the PERFECT- when adding in your own item I should be able to add the item and all the detail I.e. price, etc in one motion, not have to do it in two or three steps. The other tag that would be super helpful is making things like fruits and veggies default to”sold by” pound and being able to set tax rates for categories. Michigan doesn’t lay a tax on food in a grocery store, but we do on goods and services, thus having two tax rates. Being able to set the food to 0 and other to 6%, would give this a PERFECT RATING... it syncs immediately over the cloud even if the devices are 50 miles apart... this is such a great thing, I can add to my list wherever I am and know it’s going to be there, because I don’t always take my iPad shopping... Now I'm a shopping "pro"First got the packing pro and now the shopping pro, great pair. See my review under packing pro also. There is a slight learning curve as with all apps that are detailed but once you learn how to use it is a simple. I have learned that I can build separate shopping list and my time at the store Flows more smoothly, i.e. Aldi, Walmart, Kroger and Menards. This keeps me from jumping between list. I use the airdrop since it is easy and local and does not have to have Wifi or use your data. I will build my list on my iPad the airdrop it to my iPhone. I'm still working on transferring an item from one list to another list. Bottom lime, you can now shop like s "Pro" Update: live the new function that allows you to MOVE an item from one shopping list to another and to place it in the category you wish. Really like this appI really like this app. Use it all the time. Like that you can create master lists which I am starting to do with the regular price for each of the stores I shop at. Also like the ability to share the lists. One request would be a spot to add the store option to the list with the ability to sort by store so that you could have a sublist to shop from. Right now I place the prices for each store in the notes area which helps but can’t always see all the notes. Again creating a sublist within your list would save time. Love It But Has One Annoying IssueI pretty much like everything about this App, however, there is one thing that drives me crazy. When in the grocery store shopping with list in hand, I find that even with the slightest movement the App jumps screens all the time. I have to stop, press back arrows to get back to my list, but then it happens again and again. It seems that it could be tweaked so that it’s less susceptible to movements. For Shopping Nerds - FABULOUS!!!This App is so incredibly helpful and I can’t believe it isn’t more popular. Granted, I immediately erased all of the their stuff and made my own system, which took about 1/2hour a day for a week because I’m an OCD control freak, but now it’s a work of art! Great Shopping AppI have tried many grocery shopping apps & so far the pro is the best one yet. I formerly had the Shopi app & when upgrading it no longer worked. Don’t Email…They don’t respondI do like the app except for 1 thing…a badge number does not show up on the app. I’ve emailed 2x with no response whatsoever. I have all settings correct in phone with latest iOS plus settings correct in app with latest update. I’m not sure why there is no badge showing up on my icon when I have 11 items in 1 of my lists and I can’t seem to get answer from app developer. Great new appHave used Packing Pro made by same developers for several years and love that. This newest incarnation of the same type of app works well and is easy to use. For those of you who use Packing Pro, learning this app is a cinch. If you haven't, there is a slight learning curve but there are sample lists to practice with. App is somewhat customizable which is nice. You can add your own items and categories to all the preloaded templates which makes creating new lists easier, however you do have to go through many screens to accomplish that task. Only cons to this app is that there is no integrated UPC scanner to add items to lists like a lot of other similar apps have and no ability to add a photo to a list item in case you needed to do that. All in all not a bad app for version 1.0 Hopefully in the future the developers will update and improve the product taking under consideration the reviews that all the users post, although you will never satisfy everyone. If not, I can't see this app competing with some of the other grocery/ shopping apps that are more evolved and have been out there for a long time..JohnFLAVersion: 1.0

Excellent appThe flexibility of this app makes it really great. I have been hunting for an app that allows you to keep track of your balance as you shop (which is what you need if you want to stay within a budget). This one allows you to control how you record the details of each item, and calculates the total for the item based on your input. It also allows you to order categories etc as you want to order them. i have not come across an app as good as this. I used the free version for about a year before upgrading to the full app. The free app lets you do everything except make extra lists. I like being able to have a list for each store I go to. The developers were able to take one of the most basic, simple concepts in list/shopping management and make it so “entry-intensive” that it’s not even worth the effort to open the app in the first place. AutoSync poorly doneThis app has a lot of feature but unfortunately, the sync feature between devices is poorly executed and completely unreliable. Had many time my list done (on my iPad) to realize back at the store that all selected items are gone (on my iPhone). Auto sync?Long back, I actually deleted this application from iPhone almost immediately after discovering that sync with family members will work only if they are on same iCloud account which is not the case for me. Recent update said that they have added several sharing options like dropbox and I was excited that I can use same Dropbox account for family members and can have shopping lists in auto sync. Unfortunately, application does not have Autosync feature except for iCloud. All other options are manual import/export type. This does not make sense to us as most time I have a list from wife and by the time I reach store she keeps on adding more items. That means we need to continuously import export manually.
