SCAM! BEWARE with NO REFUNDSThis app has turned bad. Recently I have had Multiple bad experiences to the point I am deleting the app. I like purchasing parking ahead especially in LA because looking for parking is stressful! Three times now they emphasized no refunds even for reasonable issues. I couldn’t use the first parking and they refused to refund me even though the parking date was weeks away. Then I used it for an event recently, the parking attendant said they don’t take the app that day and when I messaged ParkWhiz to refund me they never responded to multiple emails. Poor customer service, wants the money and no refunds even if you didn’t use their service! Third time I arrived and the parking attendant said they were full and to take it up with the app even though I prepaid. Parkwhiz said they would refund me, got an email saying I was refunded, 2 weeks later, checked my bank and it wasn’t refunded so check your bank. I disputed it and they responded right away saying once the parking time starts it too late to dispute so my bank sided with them. Lost $30+ each time, will be reporting to the BBB especially with fake refunds and promises! They also hide bad reviews!.Meichowchow4Version: 11.4.4

Weird layoutLook the app is decent, it does its job. BUT the problem is the process of buying the parking. lets say i want to go to a concert of the 20th of October, and there are shows on the 3rd, 5th, 13, and multiple other shows that lead up to the show on the 20th. i can’t scroll down from the search menu to find that specific show, and pressing the “return” button dosent do anything either, pressing it over like 5 times makes you search something up you didn’t search up and then nothing pops up. next, if im finally able to click the date i want parking for then i can look around to see how far the parking is from the venue, which is helpful, but if i wanted to see what the parking structure looks like i can’t do that because it won’t allow me to tap on the picture even though i know there’s more than one picture because their website shows pictures of the parking structure. if i also press on the “Show facility details” button, i get details and what they get for reviews, sometimes the reviews are pretty low, and if im going to park there i need to know why the reviews are so low, but of course, i can’t click the reviews button. those are the things that this app needs to work on, and it’s pretty frustrating that this app has over 4 stars if it can’t do what an over 4 star app should be able to do..3ml3xVersion: 11.1.11

NYCI read some of the reviews and had to write my own. I’m one of the few ppl who own a car in Manhattan and one of the even fewer that drives everyday. Yes, I live and work in Manhattan and I drive everyday. I use ParkWhiz at least once a week and I’ve never had a problem. The lots always accept my prepaid pass. I even had an instance where I prepaid for parking when I was attending a party at a friends house but when I got there I found a spot on the street. ParkWhiz could not refund my money as my start time had already passed but they credited my account for the same amount. I am a big fan and recommend ParkWhiz to everyone I know. No history keptThis app keeps no history of parking payments. Used the app to park tonight. I received the screen with the $22.+ payment information and car information. In less that the time to park I found a $95 ticket saying it was for parking violation. The car was parked perfectly between lines. No sign said that position was reserved or prohibited. Called both numbers on the ticket one answered but could only accept a payment. Other said leave a message and I did. A recording said unless a copy of the proof of purchase was provided no complaint could be submitted. Called the number for the app support. Recording says all tickets received are from a third party and all tickets must be resolvedresolved only with that resolved with that party. Called the credit card company. The app never contacted the credit card company to charge for the parking. $117.+ is quite expensive for parking 2.5 hrs of 4 hours purchased..GdhktvdVersion: 11.4.0

Quick easyEverything you need in an app. Makes use of all iOS features: Apple Pay, Wallet, etc. Will hold back on that 5th star until I use the parking facility this weekend (9/17). I've had trouble in the past with lots I've booked thru ParkWhiz being too tight to get out of the car; exit thru sunroof. But the app is grrrrreat! Way to raise your game, ParkWhiz. After parking (9/17, Charlotte): The lot was "overbooked". It seems there are some issues with communication between the lot administrators and ParkWhiz. I'm not sure who's at fault here so I will leave my 4 star review of the app intact. Customer Service mot much helpI went to an event on June 13 of this year and parked in Canal St parking garage. I paid for parking in advance when i purchased my event ticket. The parking pass was through this app however a month after the event i received a parking ticket from municipal parking services. I went through their appeals process and they suggested (naturally) that i take it up with ParkWhiz. PW customer service sent me a “sorry! Can’t help you! Not our problem!” reply and have been no help since. Using app is easy and parking is fine however if you get a fraudulent ticket after using this app and PAYING for parking DO NOT expect ParkWhiz to assist you in any form or fashion. The best app for city parking!I use this app any time I know I’ll have to find parking somewhere in the city. It’s really quick and easy to use, and makes the entire parking experience so much better. I know for a fact every time I use it I’m saving a ridiculous amount of time and getting the best price for a parking garage. When you search, you get results for a TON of different garages in the area so you have options for both distance and price. It’s really simple to do it both on the spot, and way ahead in advance. The best feature of the app is that it will extend your parking ticket to the longest possible point before the next price tier. This gives you as much possible time as possible in the spot. On top of that I’ve found savings that can happen by using it (just recently booked a $22 spot for $9!). It also gives you all of the contact information, map, description, and a really, really useful image of the garage. Like to plan aheadI’ve been happy with this app! I use it when I need to go somewhere that parking may be hard to find. I used it yesterday when I needed to go into Detroit during the NFL draft. I booked my parking, and I was concerned that I’d show up to find the lot full, or that an overflow tent had been erected on the lot. That didn’t happen, I arrived to find easy parking right across the street from the club I was working at! I recommended the app to several of the other volunteers, who kept having to leave to move their cars. Great, just one little thingThis is a great app and it’s beautifully designed. Hats off to all the me design work and thinking. One thing though; is it possible to add “Directions” to the ellipsis of a pass, or some other solution for not blinding your users when they try to pull up the directions to a pass. ParkWhiz - #1 Parking App Negative Reviews

First and last time I use ParkwizTried to buy a parking pass for a Whitesox game (Parkwiz was suggested as the only provider by the White Sox ticketing website for parking in the stadium lot), first on the website using Apple-pay and got an error. Then tried using a credit card with the same result. Downloaded the app and again tried to purchase a pass, getting the same error to recheck my credit card info after trying two different cards. Used both my phone and a laptop. No go. Emailed the “help” account and received the same boilerplate advice to check the info I entered. I emailed asking for further help as I did all of their suggestions. No additional response or help provided nor an explanation as to what is actually wrong or how to fix it. I guess I’ll go back to SpotHero where my credit cards work. Totally disappointed in Parkwiz. Edit: a few days later I received an email asking for more information. I appreciate the reach out, but I’m not sure what the fix would be in my case as the day I needed parking came and went. (BTW my solution was to go early and pay $10 to park in the game day lot, which was cheaper than Parkwiz as there was no service fee). I get they have associates whose job it is to “fix” problems, but the timely nature of my problem, and their business, requires they have a working system, and/or be nimble enough to find timely solutions that work for customers when customers need immediate solutions..NPR loving guyVersion: 8.7.6

Overpaid and terrible customer servicePaid a $28 ParkWhiz and arrived 30 minutes early to the lot. The ParkWhiz was from 6:30-2am the next day. I wasn’t told that there was going to be any issues from the attendant when I gave him my pass. Came back at 10:30pm to be charged $54 dollars by the Lot, saying that we had to pay the balance. Looked up at the sign and up to 12 hours at the lot was $34 dollars. So got charged an extra $20 to use a parkwhiz. I said this can’t be right and I got on the phone with parkwhiz customer service and the woman was rude saying it was our fault for coming in early and that we’d have to pay the difference, even though it’s $20 more than if we hadn’t used a ParkWhiz. The lot was holding our car until we paid and parkwhiz was no help and worse, super super rude, so I had to pay the extra $26 to get my car home. I’ve used parkwhiz a bunch of times before but to get on the phone with them late at night and to be met with a rep that’s treating you like it’s your fault and they can’t do anything to help you makes me feel like I’d rather just take my chances with the lot than deal with someone that’s going to berate you. The whole thing felt really deceitful and scammy - especially since the price difference from what it cost to what the lots regular price was is really an issue that should be figured out between the company and parkwhiz and not paid for by the customer. Terrible customer serviceWe were in Chicago for a funeral and my son wanted to go to the fountain pen store. I reserved a spot at the closest garage and heading to Chicago. The garage was close drove around the block at least twice to verify, thinking things are different up here. Finally, I just parking in the first parking garage, I find around the corner. My reserved spot 13 dollars, the spot we park 38 dollars. Then, I contacted the company, they requested a receipt from the garage we used and pictures of the closed garage. First, taking pictures while driving in Chicago is dangerous and second there was no sign. Then they asked for a copy of my bank statement with the 38 dollar charge. Hmmm….NO. Then several days later, I got a reply that the garage had a disclaimer that the day question I needed to use the East entrance. Now, if there was disclaimer on the app, I missed, cuz I definitely would have used a different garage. I am not from Chicago, and I just wanted to make the trip into Chicago easy. I used the app to link to my gps app for direction and it spent us to the closed entrance with no sign to use a different entrance. I do not really care about the 13 dollars at this point it is the principal and the lack of customer service. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO PUT ZERO STARS!Went to an event in Brooklyn. Found a lot close by with super reasonable rate and and booked a reservation and paid. Went to lot on the day of the event - arrived early and attendant said that was ok. I did notice that sign had daily parking rate for $2 less than I paid, but overlooked that. I said to the attendant that he must be getting ready for a busy day. He asked why and I explained the sold out event at the Barclays Center. He was unaware, but immediately put up a sign that nearly doubled what I paid for my reservation. After the event, I returned and the attendant (who had said that arriving early was fine for the rate) said I would have to pay as he couldn’t accept the reservation bc we arrived early. But, since I told him about the event (he remembered me) he would only charge $15 - not the price that they had raised it to. He told me to contact Park Whiz and they would refund my money. Ha! Park Whiz has contacted me back and is asking for receipt that I paid the second time. I am not sure if I can find it. I am also being sent many of their FAQ’s - including not being able to be refunded after reservation as well as reservations not being valid if arriving early, etc. Complete scam. Knew it was a scam when I was leaving the lot but there was no way to do anything because a valet lot and wouldn’t be able to get my car. Horrible. The ring aroundThey do not offer the best parking!! Make sure if you use this it’s your last last resort. I would instead try spot hero. After looking up my lot I realized if I paid there i can pay $6 instead of the $20 I paid on the app trying to save money. I texted the help number to get my refund and included proof of the special that is a regular thing the app should’ve known about. The person the started replying aggressively with caps saying you need to get there “BY 9AM” I tried to explain that by 9 means before 9 and they continued to try and argue. They then tried to give me a $15 parkwhiz credit which i don’t want. I then called the help line and it was still kind of frustrating. They want bank statements for a refund. I have had to prove my self for the second time through email and will hopefully get my refund. I feel like it shouldn’t be this hard to get a refund the first person didn’t even tell me the steps I needed to take for the refund. This app seems to try and trap people when a mistake happens. I have used spot hero before I don’t know why I didnt this time. And the one time I had a problem with the hours I requested vs the parking hours I really needed they understood and gave me my money back. A most frustrating and agonizing experienceIf I could give a zero star rating, I would. I had the worst experience one could have and I’m sure many other users would agree. The $22 ticket paid for and issued with my concert ticket stated arrival starting at 7:00pm. Why so late to a concert where the recommendation was to arrive at 6:00pm when doors opened? At around 7:10pm, the attendant was ushering a long line of cars in. The parking garage was packed. I, along with a long line of cars ended up crawling up through 4 stories of packed garage lanes and back down towards the exit spending 30 minutes in a most futile attempt to find a space. Most cars entering did not have a prepaid ticket and the attendant did not stop cars from entering knowing that the garage was full. I only found a space because I parked in a corner spot that was not a marked stall. Most cars in front and behind me ended up forced to exit. I arrived 15 minutes late to my concert because of this gross mismanagement. To add salt to injury, exiting after the concert took 45 minutes. No attendant was managing the exiting traffic on the upper floors and a fight almost broke up amongst two frustrated drivers. Overpaid and still got a ticketPaid 10 dollars more using the app then what the kiosk at the lot was charging. I parked exactly where I was supposed to from where I paid on the app. Went in to see show in Tampa, 2 hours later there is a 50 dollar ticket on my car from some private 717 parking company saying I owe them. So now I’m 80 dollars in the whole. Well....zero actually bc I’m calling iTunes and my credit card company to dispute the 30 dollar charge from this app and of course I’m never paying that 50 dollar private company scam either. Shame was trying to do right thing and get taken advantage of by this app. Stay far away from this app and any 717 parking run lot. Just pay at lot using kiosk. Would be easier and cheaper. Update: raised the review by one star due to the fact the app contacted me after review. They reached out to the third party company who issued the citation and had it voided. Also refunded 10 dollars of what I paid for the inconvenience. The app needs a better way to rate these lots. I see the lot has a very poor rating but I myself see no way of rating them. Company doesn’t care when things go wrongI booked parking through the app yesterday. The garage is one of the ones which opens via sensor and then you get in and scan your pass. I tried several times to activate the sensor and it wouldn’t work. I called support and they reached out to both the manager and the building and came back on the line to report neither answered. The rep looked for another space nearby and both options were going to make me late for work but I was willing to accept it just so I can park and get to work. She informed me that I would have to pay out of pocket for a new reservation. When I asked her she could not simply book another space for me with what I had already paid her response was “we don’t offer free parking”. Hello, I paid for this! The spot was literally a dollar and some change more than the spot I booked which, given then inconvenience and the fact that this made me late for work didn’t seem like a big deal. I just asked for a refund and deleted the app. Not supporting a business that is not willing to make it right when things go wrong. Poor customer service and overpriced.Would never use again. Last week I used this app to purchase parking for my and my fathers vehicles. The total came out to $18 per vehicle. I get to the lot and there is no attendant there to meet me and the lot is marked for $10. I stuck around for a minute to try and figure out why the price was so different but nobody was there and I left to get a table at a busy restaurant. Then I get a call from my father saying that the lot attendant needed me to leave the restaurant and go back to the parking lot to show my app or he was going to have my car towed for not paying. The attendant had no record I was supposed to be there. I decide to file a rate dispute with the app for the extra $16 I was out, and I get only one response about how I paid extra for the piece of mind that there would be a space for my car. If the attendant had no record I was supposed to be there he was filling the lot with first come first serve and there was no guarantee my car would have a spot, and I wouldn’t call having to lose my table to keep my car from being towed piece of mind. Nothing But a Headache!!My hotel was 9 miles away from my venue. I had heard parking was scarce, so I thought I would be proactive and try this app to get parking in advance. I picked the closest available lot. Once I got downtown, I passed 5 parking garages that were much closer to my venue, and still accepting cars. When I got to the lot I paid for, there were ZERO spots available. I couldn’t even squeeze in somewhere. I looked everywhere for an attendant, there was none. I looked on the app trying to figure out what to do. Found a number to call. Was on hold over 10 minutes, no answer. I sat in the lot another 10 minutes, and finally one car left, so I took his spot. 25 minutes wasted, made me late for my event. I looked on the app again and saw a number to text. Eventually someone got back with me, and they didn’t really want to do anything for me since I “eventually” got a spot. They ended up crediting me $5 to use “next time”. So frustrating that experience was... but, it gets even better! When I returned to my vehicle after the event, I had a $55 parking ticket on it for failure to pay!! WTH?!! I tried calling again, no answer. I had to spend the next day tracking down phone numbers to the management company that owns the lot to try and get this cleared up. It was Sunday though, so I was not able to reach anyone that day. I also eventually heard back from Park Whiz, who needed me to send them proof that I paid (duh, it’s in their app), and the parking ticket. Within a couple days I heard back from the lot management company, they cleared my ticket. It took Park Whiz a couple weeks to get back to me, to let me know it had been cleared. MisleadingBought a concert ticket on stubhub then was recommended a ticket for parking to purchase for the event. location was specific to the concert itself, even says it on the ticket. one would assume this parking spot would be near the event, right? it absolutely is not. a two mile walk in downtown austin is completely unreasonable considering downtown can be extremely dangerous for a young girl and not safe to be walking in late at night. if parking is specific to an event, it should be within a normal walking distance. a two mile walk is not that bad; however, I could have easily found parking without reserving it if I expected to commit to that walking distance. I intentionally bought the ticket so that I would have a safe, quick walk, yet this includes what can only be described as a sketchy trip through lower downtown from a random parking area. completely disappointed and feel misled. reserved a parking spot .3 miles away for the same event at a significantly cheaper price with a different company. Avoid!The scan did not work on exit from the garage I booked. Nobody answered the attendant button. There was a phone number to call and they didn't answer either and I left a voice mail which I never received a response to. I had to have the cars behind me back up then drive back up 7 floors, go down to the lobby desk only to be told that sometimes they have issues and told me that since Laz manages the garage they couldn’t do anything and told me to pay the $27 and take it up with ParkWhiz. Overall it took me almost an hour to get out with all of this hassle. ParkWhiz asked me to send my credit card statement showing the charge but refused to refund the $5.94 difference in what I had to pay. I asked if it’s worth losing a customer over $5.94 and they didn’t care so I deleted my account, the app, and told others I knew about the experience just as I said I would. Do NOT trust this App! Many false pretenses!Every time I have used this app it turns into a nightmare! I pay in advance, go to the garage, there is no way to validate the pre-paid ticket when there isn’t an attendant on site or an automated process to validate the ticket. So I have to pay the going rate at the time - i double paid in the end. After three days of trying to get my refund, I got it but not for the amount (20% more) i paid directly to the garage. Lost all faith due to customer supportI have been using this app for some time without issue. Recently had an issue with a garage closing earlier than what was listed on the site. No fine print ‘enter or exit by’ times listed either. Tried customer service immediately after with no luck. Drove home and put in for a refund with the explanation. The response was a credit in the app for about 90% of what I paid. I replied back to the email requesting a full refund and 14 days later out of the blue I receive an apology for a 2 week response time and an approximate 50% credit card refund and a notice that my credit has also been taken away. No explanation on the reasoning for the partial credit and no offer to take this reduced credit or have the option to keep the credit. I am baffled by the pathetic customer service and advised them that I would be disputing this charge and moving on. There are too many other apps that provide this same service. You might get towed from their unreliable vettingThe app itself works great, however the problem is the inaccuracy and unaccountability with the garages listed. After paying and parking via the app, I was approached by the facility’s security guard, telling me I wasn’t allowed to park there. After sharing that I had I paid via the app, he scoffed and said that it meant nothing. This prompted me calling ParkWhiz, and after being on hold for about 30 minutes (by which time I was already home), I asked them for details and confirmation I was allowed to park there. They got back to me to tell me that I actually wasn’t allowed in there overnight (even though the app says it is) and that I needed to move the car immediately or risk being towed. This all took place around 11pm. Making it so that I had to go back to the garage around midnight to move the car to another facility. A scam serviceI signed up for there service almost 2 weeks before I needed a monthly spot, purchased it and followed the instructions with the garage manager to ensure it was a self park garage and not a valet garage. When I arrived at the garage an attendant gave me a confused look when I showed him my receipt from parking whiz and was completely unaware of the service and gave me a post it note with a manager to call who also had no idea I paid for a space and told me if I wanted to use the garage I could purchase a space from them for double the cost. I don’t think parkingwhiz communicates with these garages your better off just contacting them directly. I wound up having to park on the street that day and getting a different garage outside of this app. When I reached out parkingwhiz for a refund they kept arguing with me to give them time to get in touch with the garage as I explained I already had to find a new garage. 2 weeks later they sent me an email saying they would issue a refund in an additional 5 days. Do Not Trust Your ReservationI secured a spot near Ford Field in Detroit for the Vikings v Lions game on Nov 2nd. It was a short 8 minute walk to the stadium. I paid $90 for the spot. When I arrived at the location the Inn at 97 Widner, they oversold the lot. They said that I could park in a lot ‘right around the corner’ which turned out to be 1/2 mile away. When I arrived at that location, the sign indicated that the fee was $50. They refused to refund the difference and said they couldn’t pay me the difference back in cash but I could cancel the transaction and pay them $50 cash. By that point, I didn’t have any much options because I was going to be late for the start of the game. I have requested a full refund from ParkWhiz and we will see how they handle it. So far, however, the customer service rep said they wouldn’t do anything against the parking vendor until they receive more complaints. They also indicated on their refund form that know that parking vendors provide ‘false information’ and they will refund what you paid. However, this seems to be a weak disincentive to police the parking vendors. I would be interested in hearing from other customers that have had this experience and if this seems to be a pattern, it may be worth bringing a class action lawsuit against them. Not happyWas going to a show at the metro in Chicago and saw there was parking across the street at the hot dog Wrigleyville Dogs. Cool! Used park whiz and went down to park and see the show. Get to the parking and see a couple attendants and show them my printed receipt. They point me to another gentleman and I show him my receipt for the parking. Looks at it and asked for the email. Weird but whatever I show him the email and he leads me and instructs me where to park and get as close as possible to the car next to me. Go to the show, have a great time and leave. A minute into my drive notice my passenger side mirror is closed. I Pull over and put it back. Just thought they closed it to get the the next car in and kept driving. Beware extra chargeI’m finding that the posted rate at Manhattan garages are cheaper than prepaid rates through apps. Also Parkwhiz’s oversized vehicle policy of 181” allows attendants to tack on an extra $15 for vehicles which generally aren’t oversized. We’ve parked for 15 years in manhattan and never paid an oversized vehicle fee for our Toyota Highlander, then booked through Parkwhiz with the Rose Garage and had to pay $15 on top of our prepaid fee. Since we prepaid it wasn’t like we could drive away and go elsewhere. Before booking check the policy of the actual garage. Icon is clear on its website that our car is not considered oversized so I suppose I could book through Parkwhiz with them and not worry about being overcharged. When purchasing the app receipt says your space is reserved and happily charges the same price you pay at the lot. It’s worse than never trying the app. Maybe there are use cases where it works, but don’t use it if you don’t know. Service doesn’t workUsed ParkWhiz to prepay for parking but service didn’t work and was a hassle to get a refund. Arrived at the Parking Garage, tried four times to get the ParkWhiz QBar accepted, scan device read it, processed it then said “access denied”. Got and used an old school parking ticket. Asked ParkWhiz for refund, they wanted a photo of parking receipt. There is no receipt, at the parking garage payment kiosk you insert your ticket and it marks a barcode on it. Then when you exit you insert the ticket in a device that reads the tickets and opens the gate the device keeps the ticket. Like most folk I did not take a picture to document proof for ParkWhiz. Evidently ParkWhiz does not have technology that logs customer activity so no records of entering or exiting so it’s up to customer to prove their service doesn’t work. Refused to refund meI was going to a concert at MSG in NYC, and I decided to book a garage a couple blocks away for convenience. When I got there, the garage was full. Not workingI booked a parking for a basketball game. The system said I can park one hour before the game (11:00 am) and leave within one hour after game (4:00 pm). However, the parking from the system did not work for the parking lot I booked. There were a couple of problems: (1) The instruction told me to present the parking pass to valet attendant. There was only a machine and no person working there. (2) The barcode did not work. I tried to scan the barcode. But there was no response from the machine. In fact, the machine did not ask me to scan the barcode throughout the whole process. More than 5 drivers tried to help me however none of us figured it out. The game would start soon. I had already spent half hour on the parking system and I did not have time to call and wait for a customer service. The only way to start the system of the machine was to insert the credit and paid for it. I thought maybe I could scan the barcode when I returned. Unfortunately, still not working. It turned out I had to pay $25 by credit card which was $15 when I booked parking. I know it could be more than the price on the reservation because of larger size of car. But my car is a hatchback which is even smaller than a regular sedan. And I entered and left on time based on the instruction. (3) It was said that I can cancel the reservation any time before the event (12:00 pm). However when I parked my car by credit card at 11:34 am, I could not cancel it. This confused me. They are a lazy businessI registered to run in a 12K race in San Francisco. Race start is 8 am and I had a run group I was meeting at 7:15 am. I booked my garage to enter at 6 am after a 1 hour drive. I get there and garage dead closed. Sign said opens at 8 am. I am now scrambling around city. 45 minutes later find parking, now have to rush in my clothes 1 mile to race site to take a dump, rush back to my car. Confusing and horrible Customer ServiceI’m generally an optimistic and easy going person. But I feel compelled to share my disastrous experience with ParkWhiz and the horrible service. I attended a concert to see one of my childhood friends perform at The Tabernacle (Atlanta). I purchased a parking pass and followed the instructions, leaving the pass visible on my dashboard. The thing is, there’s 4 parking lots all next to one another and the instructions available on the printout give little information (“look for a y’all maroon plaque with white AAA sign”.) Theres no lights anywhere and it’s pitch dark outside. Moreover, there were no white signs. There were plenty “AAA parking signs” but all different colors. Lastly, some of the signs were on the ground, perhaps knocked down or something. I had to make my best judgement after asking others around, all who were just as confused as I was. The instructions I followed were “parking is by the brown building”.... When I came back to my car, my vehicle was booted. $75 wasted ... It’s a ScamWhen I parked, scanned the QR on the sign, downloaded app and see red the first location on the list of options, paid and went to the event. Turns out that the list of available locations are not in distance order so being a tourist and not knowing the town very well, I selected a parking lot that was 500ft west from the one I was. My car was towed, ParkWhiz has no one to assist you, had to pay the tow and dispute later. Took from early October until mid March to have a response. We will refund the Uber expense as a good faith gesture since it was user fault that you select the top parking location on the app and not the he third down the list. BTW, all were same price. Not as advertisedI purchased a ticket through this app after seeing it on the Toronto ‘Scotia Arena’ website. I was going to the Toronto Raptors game and wanted to make the parking at Brookfield Place as smooth as possible. Much to my dismay the barcode reader did not accept my ticket. The parking attendant seemed to imply that this was not an isolated incident. The next morning I called Parking Whiz. Disappointed!The idea behind this app is a great one—you pay in advance, and don’t have to worry about finding a parking space. Unfortunately the garage I booked did not consider the pre-made reservation to represent any commitment on their part, so when I arrived, there was no room for me. Also, the price I paid was $4 higher than the one posted. I will give the staff at Park Whiz credit for finding me another option nearby, although it was a valet lot and a bit sketchy. Also, since that option was less expensive I now have a credit, which apparently expires. How can my money expire?
