Allyz® Subscription, App Deletion & iOS Support

How do I cancel the Allyz® subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your Apple ID (your name) at the top, go to Subscriptions, select Allyz® from the list and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you can keep using the app until then. See Apple's official subscription management page for details.

How do I delete the Allyz® app?

Touch and hold the Allyz® icon on the Home Screen, choose Remove App and then Delete App. Important: if you have an active subscription, deleting the app does not cancel it automatically - you must first cancel your subscription using the steps above.

Pleasantly Impressed

Wasn’t too sure about Spending the extra amount for the insurance because 1 I wasn’t sure I would need it and 2 because if I did need it, would it actually pay. I’m very happy to say that they paid and the process from start to finish was super easy and I got my money in a few days. One of my return flights from Fresno to Phoenix was canceled which caused me to miss my connecting flight to El Paso on that Sunday night. I had to stay the night in Phoenix (which the airline paid for) so I missed a day of work and it was not a fun situation. However, Allianz DEFINITELY came through and I will most definitely by buying insurance from now on!

Football game

Our 43 yr old son has Parkinson’s & 11/28 the wx was very cold. He struggled to move in the house let alone outside in the frigid weather. It was to be a family affair with his brother & family from SC but Jim’s disease prevented him from going with us. My husband should’ve stayed home too as he was on a portable oxygen tank & it was way too cold for him. There was a major issue with the Uber driver & he couldn’t get near the handicap area to pick us up. Dave got a ride in a Philly police car to take us to an area where the Uber could pick us up. In the meantime he ran out of oxygen - thank goodness he’s on a low setting 2 (dialed it back to 1) & said he felt like a rubber man! Once we were in the car & he was sitting he felt better. Dare I say we were glad to be home! But back to Allianz- after the paperwork was faxed I had a ck in less than 10 days. Thank you Allianz. I won’t leave home without you! You have been part of my travels & sports event & concerts for years.

Confused

I find it very confusing to know how to add things to monitor. Such as a car rental, Airbnb, etc. unless I’m mistaken and it’s only for flight, I was told by the agent who signed me up that it was trip insurance to cover my trip and that I would be able to have all of my different items in one location so it would be easier to monitor while traveling abroad. The only thing I could find was to add my airline, not the car rental or where I’m staying. It would be helpful if it was either easier to find to add these items or if it’s not already an option if it was added so that all of these things (even if they’re not completely covered), would be listed under one location instead of having to have different apps for everything.

Wonderful

I heard alot of mixed things with Allyz but regardless for my concerts I will always buy the insurance because you never know and of course one of my biggest concerts that I was traveling for I could no longer attend due to getting a new job that required you to be in a 90 day probation period where you can’t ask for days off I heard it’s impossible to make a claim but that couldn’t be farther from the truth I sent them my rejection letter from my company and within the next day it was approved and got my refund that same week I will now always buy ticket insurance because now that I know it’s not a scam I’d rather be safe than sorry

Refunds!!

If you buy insurance on your concert tickets I 100% recommend buying it from here. Something came up and me and my friend cannot go to the concert that we were hoping to go to, but luckily I bought the insurance for them. When I sadly found out that we weren’t able to go and I had to get them refunded I immediately messaged them and instead. My issue it took a good minute before I got it back, but 100% worth it! At first, I tried selling my tickets on Ticketmaster, but wouldn’t let me because I paid for them with the cash app card but luckily Allyz HELPED 🙏!! 10/10 recommend!

Allianz travel insurance is great

My husband and I went to scandanavia in July. Our flight got canceled during our trip in Dallas from okc,30 minutes before boarding time. 11:30 pm they said we can have a hotel room and transfer. We can call American Airlines and find a different flight. After 3 hours of talking to the agent, she got us on a 6am flight to NYC. She said Uber from LGA to JFK then go to Stockholm. We can figure out how to get to Copenhagen. We had paid for a ticket with American Airlines months ago to get us to Copenhagen from Dallas. We lost our money for the pre night hotel and transfer with the tour company. Ubers. Extra flight from Stockholm to Copenhagen. I saved all receipts and submitted them to Allianz travel. They took care of both of our extra expenses !! I definitely recommend them. I have insured james and I again. Even though I have travel credit cards I still recommend them.

It was worth it

I had a horrendous travel experience with a flight cancelled after eight hours of waiting which caused me to miss a connection and the airline couldn’t rebook me for two days by which time the conference would be more than half over. So I canceled the trip. My flight was refunded but I lost an unrefundable and very expensive hotel reservation. Insurance paid for all but the first night, which is pretty standard for hotel reimbursements. And the process was very simple and the money came quickly. Highly recommended.

Wow

I had a family emergency and I was actually unsure if I should have bought the trip insurance. I am super happy that I did. Their claims process is straight forward and the app is super simple to use. I did not get the opportunity to have to speak to their customer service but because everything went so smoothly. I didn’t have to contact them. Thank you for providing a respectable easy to use service.

Cannot log in

UPDATE: After an update of the APP I was able to log in successfully. Apparently there were bug issues that needed fixing. I am still docking one star because I tried to contact the company multiple times about this not working and they failed to respond. Unable to log into account or reset password. Will not let me try to create a new account either. All attempts to log into account have failed. No response from customer service. Very frustrated that I can’t use the APP with my vacation coming up.

Allianz has pulled through for me many times on trips. This app makes it possible to have everything at my fingertips. While it’s still smart to have hard copies of policies and contact information on trips (in case there is no internet connection), the app really makes it possible to get help in a hurry. Great app! They came through

We had an unexpected death weeks before our trip. We notified Allianz and they worked with us to refund the difference of the cancelled booking and the paid trip. Once we understood what was needed, it was very easy to work with them. We continue to use them when we travel for peace of mind.

Honest Company and Great App!

My flight got delayed and I was going to miss the concert I planned to go to. Thankfully I had purchased insurance from Allyz, and I submitted a claim. I was expecting a lengthy and frustrating process, but I was pleasantly surprised when it took all of 2 min to file my claim and my refund was approved within 2 hours. Allyz is an excellent option for travel insurance. The policy is affordable combined with excellent customer service. I have the annual policy for my entire family. I filed a claim for four family members who contacted flu during the trip. The claim process was very smooth. I will never travel again without an Allyz policy in place.

Brilliant Service

I just got the app and haven’t traveled on my current Allianz plan yet, but I wasn’t able to enter some of the data on my flights. On both flights it said the flight numbers don’t exist (!) and it didn’t find one of my destinations, no matter how I spelled it. I think the app will handle my insurance if I need it; we’ll see.

Peace of mind

It was easy to file a claim. My Claim was approved within 48 hours. My reimbursement was received within 10 days after my claim was filed. I will continue to use this travel insurance on all of my flights. The only hard part was trying to come up with “nickname”, not already taken, to leave this review.

This is the fourth time we’ve used Allianz travel insurance when traveling international. One of the trips, my husband had to go to the doctor twice because he got very sick. Allianz reimbursed us for his dr visits within a day of turning in the receipts. I was very impressed.

Allyz® Negative Reviews and Ratings

Renewing

I renewed my all trips policy on July 26th and paid the premium. OnAugust 6th I got an email saying ny policy was expiring in 15 days. I checked the app, and sure enough it showed my policy expiring on the 21st. I then logged in on their site, and no record of my renewal. I checked my credit card and it showed the $715 charge had been paid. After a 20 minute telephone call, I learned that the policy number had changed. The lady on the phone said it takes a while for the update to show up on the app and website. She suggested I delete the app and reinstall it to see if the new policy shows up. Seems like there could be improvements made on the site and app, so transactions show up more quickly and emails are not sent about an expiring policy, two weeks after they’ve been renewed.

Impossible to Login on this App

I have been trying for several days to log in to my account through this app and it gives me the same message of failure to log in, please try again, or incorrect e-mail or password. I tried everything possible! Resetting or changing my password several times, trying to create a new account, deleting and installing the app again. Nothing! It worked months ago during my previous trip, but now is just cursed. I called a customer service representative and the experience was the worst ever, a rude know it all who didn’t listen to my problem and was useless and unhelpful. It got even more upset and frustrated with this joke of a customer service representative called Alex. I am thinking about dropping this company for good and cancel my trip insurance after all this unfair aggravation…

App does not display policy

Very frustrating. I REALLY want to use this app, but can’t. More than a week after purchasing my policy, and several calls to technical support, I remain unable to see my policy in the app - even after searching for the policy several ways. It appears from technical support that there is a known general problem with the application, and developers are working to fix it. Aside from the app not working, it’s equally frustrating Allianz responds to customers with “wait and try again later”. As a company, they are missing a customer service opportunity to keep customers informed about the problem using email. Doing so would decrease customer frustration and increase confidence that they are taking the problem seriously.

Denied legit claims

I did appreciate the app and easy of uploading documents, but what good does it do if this and every other traveler insurance company is a sham? They will fight you tooth and nail even if you save everything down to a fee for bathroom use receipt. I got sick in New Orleans last year and had a medical doctor note, receipts for the lodging, flights, and prescriptions. Denied, appeal denied with no explanation. When I travelled to Spain and my flight to Amsterdam was delayed 2 hours, the airline, KLM quickly sent over $990, no traveler insurance or receipts needed. The EU cares about its travelers, even though I’m an American. Travel insurance is a US scam for a government that doesn’t protect us, the consumers, and makes billions off of American citizens hoping they don’t use it. Fraud all day long.

Don’t use this company

We’ve been trying to get a Covid related refund for a claim submitted back in November. The claim section of their website site crashed and their call center was an endless phone tree with no way to talk to a real person. We finally were able to contact a person in customer service via email who was nice enough to forward our claim to their claims department. That was back in November, over 4 months ago. I followed up several times and finally received a response stating that they are reviewing our claim but we may waited to long to submit the claim. Most airlines and hotels will reimburse you if your travel is cancelled due to Covid. Call them and ask. If you get insurance use another company. There are independent sites that will provide reviews and comparisons.

Setting up an account isn’t easy

We have been covered by Allianz travel insurance for many years. We have loved every aspect of your service and are deeply in your gratitude for past help. Trying to set up this website was a nightmare. Easy to find our policy number; much more difficult to find the exact date when the policy was purchased (as opposed to the effective date) and took me almost a half an hour of going day by day through the calendar. Surely there is a way, after you’ve already entered the policy number, to set up an date range, rather than having to enter each day, have it rejected, go back to the calendar, add another, etc. Hoping somebody from programming reads this.

⭐️ 1 Star Review — Terrible Experience, Totally Useless Insurance I honestly wish I could give this company zero stars. I bought travel insurance thinking it would give me peace of mind in case something went wrong — but when I actually needed help, they were completely useless. My flight was canceled, and I tried to file a claim to rebook or at least get help booking a hotel or car rental, but they did absolutely nothing. Every time I called, I got transferred around, and nobody took responsibility. Save yourself the headache — don’t waste your money with this company. Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, and the “coverage” they promise means nothing when it comes time to use it.

Rip Off?

I spent forever trying to set up an account and set up a claim for a concert that I couldn't attend to due to a coworker getting a disease and I was around her so I had to self quarantine myself due to the fear of making others sick- when I went to allyz and explained this to them they asked for a doctors note like I can get a doctors note from my coworker? lol- they then took over a week to even get back with me just to tell me that my claim was denied. The entire reason why I bought the insurance was if I couldn't go or something were to happen at the show to where nobody could go. seems like a rip off - and my friend also have a very similar experience. that's ok!

Dissapointing

I’m not able to access the policy I purchased. On this app or through the internet, from the confirmation email I received upon finalizing my purchase. Phone Customer service was not able to access it either, yet they rushed to confirm that I will have a hard copy reach me through mail within 24 hours. Additionally, 2 emails were sent to me with customer service on the phone, saying that my policy will be attached as a PDF and those failed as well. Very disappointed thus far. If trouble starts just minutes after purchasing a travel insurance policy with Allianz, I wonder how responsive this insurer would be if a claim were filed.

Not user friendly or well thought out app

First of all, the app only appears in a vertical format. When I use it on an iPad it’s not only vertical but the same size as it would be on a tiny phone. Can’t you figure a way to go horizontal like most developers do? Second, I’m near the end of my first annual policy and I want to renew. I got an email reminding me of this fact yet there is nowhere, either in the email or the app, for an easy way to renew. Instead you have to input all the same information you did the previous year for both me and my wife. This is a pretty stupid way to get repeat business!!

Not helpful in the slightest

My friend and I purchased tickets to a show and I purchased insurance on the tickets. Apparently done through this app. My friend can no longer attend the event due to being sick so I am trying to file a claim on the tickets. They just asked me for a doctors note to prove it. I do not have that and would just like a refund on my tickets. I am finding this app to not be user friendly as to I was also kicked out of my claim screen 3 times while I was trying to file. I tried to reach out to costumer service and all I got was an automated message that informed me they couldn’t help me with this.

Difficult to Obtain Refunds

I abuse this travel insurance for quite a few trips over the last several years, especially since it is the one AAA uses. However, this past year I had to actually request a refund. Multiple documents were sent in and every time they asked for one more or additional documents. Finally called the company and they go oh yeah just send all of these, and I sent them all. This was September 2025 and I still have not received refunds. They are not an easy company to use their claim set up.

7 months have still no compensation

My airline lost my luggage and even sent an email on record stating they have been unable to locate the luggage and deemed it irretrievable. However, Allianz is still refusing to pay out for my claim which was filed over 7 months ago. I have resorted to filing a complaint with the department of transportation and now have a case agent working with me as a intermediary so I can get compensated. I do believe that I’ll have to file a lawsuit soon and am now preparing for those steps. This has been a ridiculous waste of time and I will never recommend Allianz to anyone.

Confused

Several days ago, I tried to sign into the app on my phone. I had forgotten the password so I asked for a password reset. Instead I got a message saying my email address is not in your system (I have been using the app for several months with this very same email address with no problem). So I then decided to see if I could create an account with this address since it was supposedly no longer in your system. So, now I get a message saying this email address is already in use. One place says the email address is not in your system and another place says it is. Very confused....

Absolutely worthless app!

I just wasted 30 minutes of my life trying to set up an account using this app. I just bought travel insurance to Allianz and that was a fairly easy process. However, the app refuses to let me login and or create an account. I just called to get assistance and got somebody in a Third World country who could barely speak English and told me it’s going to take days for them to fix the problem and that not only did she have to send them an email but so did I. What a complete waste of time. Get your act together Allianz!

Scam!!!! Don’t waste your money they won’t pay

Purchased their travel policy and when my flight was canceled I was given the run around for 6 months until I just gave up. They requested me to submit the same docs three times and then each time said they were “processing” just to come back months later with another request for the same thing. Their website to submit docs would be broken, so I would have to call and found another way to submit. I can tell this all is by design, to get you to guide up! Scam!

App doesn’t work & app support not helpful at all

Keeps saying “Login failure. Please try again later”. I’ve tried “later”. I have tried installing, deleting, and reinstalling several times. I’ve changed my password multiple times. I’ve called app support and got the big “sorry” can’t help you. I can get online thru the website. I have the insurance because our travelers have said this is a good one. The app stinks horribly. So unless I can feel confident that I can access it when I’m traveling, I’m not sure that I’m gonna keep it.

Make me feel like a criminal

I have recently been involved in a accident that has put me through a great deal of stress and without a car for the event i got tickets for. With this happening i am forced to work that date to make money and all this is covered under the insurance i purchased through the event yet they make me feel like im a criminal trying to get refund that i paid insurance for in the event something like idk LIFE happens? They are ridiculous and be very careful with this company i have yet to hear back from them, debating on sueing the company.

Tedious to use

You go through the steps on the app and if you don’t have all of the required documents or information, it will not save your progress. You have to keep repeating the steps. You should be able to save your progress so that you can finish later but instead you have to restart. This is tedious and frustrating. They should at least let you know what you need ahead of time so that you don’t waste your time filling out the information only for you to have to re do everything.

Downloaded the app, never received the email which would allow me to verify the login. I even checked my junk mail folder for missed delivery, but no luck. Doesn’t seem to work very well. Update: Received the verification email days after downloading the app and trying to set it up. It works just fine now, and even shows two policies I have, not just the one associated with receiving the suggestion that I download the app.

Very dissatisfied

I bought this insurance from Delta when I bought my airline tickets due to the possibility of the activity being changed and not being able to go. Never was I informed there were only about 8 reasons for a refund until I had to file a claim. I was never sent a policy and when I asked to speak with someone about an appeal there is no phone number available to speak with anyone. This is a giant scam and I’m shocked the Delta website offers it stay away from this company!

Updated: I needed to verify my email address via system generated email request. Once I did this I was able to login. Note to app dev folks: this was not clear when I created my account that I would have to do this before logging in he 1st time Just downloaded, created account and tried to login. No luck. Purchased almost $700 worth of travel insurance and was recommended to download this app Created account went to sign in, got error message-tried forgot password-I was emailed two different confirmation codes to reset it neither one worked deleted app started over again been through the process multiple times, so basically I have no access to my policies without going onto the website Called the customer service and cannot even get anyone to help

Can’t login with password that works in browser

My Allianz online account has a 40-character randomized password that works fine in web browsers on my computer. But this app’s password field limitations doesn’t match the online version’s, so the app incorrectly rejects my login attempts with the same passed copy/pasted and inserted by my password manager. So the app is unusable. And I’m not going to spend time testing shorter passwords or ones with different symbols to discover the app’s limit. This is an amateur mistake.
