Back in 2008 when the App Store was very young, Yonac released miniSynth, the very first iOS synthesizer. Compact and user-friendly, it introduced hundreds of thousands of iOS users to synths and paved the way for the great things to come in mobile music making.
We have come a long way since, continuing innovation with our flagship synth Magellan. As our apps grow more and more sophisticated, we wanted to also continue the heritage of the original app that started it all. So, here with all its elegant simplicity is miniSynth 2.
miniSynth 2 continues the spirit of the original, adding advancements we made in DSP, design and features over the last half decade. Simple and easy to use, miniSynth 2 projects a solid, fat tone from a strategic feature set -- an "abbreviation" of the sophisticated features we offer in our pro-grade synthesizers.
Like all our synthesizers, no compromises are made with sound and functionality. There are NO samples used, just real-time virtual analog synthesis.
miniSynth 2 also includes production-friendly features, such as Audiobus output, audio copy/paste, and a MIDI In port for playing miniSynth with an external controller or a virtual-MIDI app.
For the iOS pro and the novice alike, miniSynth 2 is intended as a back-to-basics synth answering the call when the inspiration strikes.

Holy Dear Good Lord! Is this what you call Mini?How come this thing has this much amazingly destructive sonic power , Even it is named miniSynth. I have to be frank and honest, Till now, Yonac has completely overwhelmed me with Kauldron, Trooper, Magellan and many others! But Dear respected yonac, naming this appp miniSynth, is utmost wrong! Little Gem! A True Must Have for Any IOS Synth Geeks!This little gem never ceases to amaze me! It works perfectly in AudioBus3, AUM and it even sports a built in recorder to make loops! Amazing deal! Sounds incredible, if you don't like the reverb, i truly recommend sending this baby's audio into EOS2 reverb by Audiodamage and be prepared to be floored! Sound, HUGE!!! Simple little synth that sounds great!I've been pulling bass/leads, percussion sounds, pads, and SFX out of it and sampling into Werkbench. It is nice to have a simple synth on hand for fast programming. I'll use this for live use because I can fly over the whole synth engine in seconds. It would be nice if the controls could all go on one screen for the iPad (oscillators + env + filter at least)… but great product none the less!.Version: 1.0
Still a fattyBeen around a while but this synth is still a strong contender for me and I can ALWAYS find inspiration while playing it! For that matter Yonac in general hasn't ever disappointed! Especially Magellan and Galileo <-- monumental synth and organ for the iPad that rival hardware costing thousands!.Version: 1.0
RealisticPossibly one one the best of its kind. The sound is quite realistic & if u plug your device into an amplifier, it actually creates the same sound effect of an expensive keyboard. Great for anyone who wants to jam a little music!.Version: 1.1

Great besides the audiobus echoWhen I use this application with audio bus and beatmaker 2 it distorts and just doesn't function well . Mini synth 2 seems to apply effects on the loops already made in beatmaker and makes a horrible experience please fix !!!!!!!!!!.Version: 1.0
Very basic synth.If you're hooking up to an external keyboard the pitch and mod wheels are useless. needs a way to set the pitch bend range and the mod wheel should be mapped to cutoff by default since there's no lfo. I appreciate the simplicity, but may be too simple..Version: 1.0
