Finding peaceThere is a lot of things in the world that don’t go our way. Having a daily reminder of the peace that is with in us to forgive ourselves, others and god for this is what’s life is all about. I write this as a 12 year chapter closes on my life, I have wanted this to work out they way I wanted for so long that I was forcing the door open with my ego head and stubbornness and pride as a man. I still do and am working on accepting the truth of the situation. I thought I did the right thing but when it did not work out the way I wanted I was frustrated, angry and disappointed in the situation, myself, others and mostly in god for not giving me what I wanted most. I don’t operate on faith and this is a difficult thing for me to accept. So I am just taking it on day at a time working on acceptance and faith to heal myself, others and the situation that I put myself in. The daily reminders helps to keep me on track. Motivation seekerI have always been a Christian catholic and believed in god, although my family was never one to go to church every week after my parents divorce. Instant reliefWas seeking an app that was simple nothing in depth. Just a bible verse here or there just to remind me of my faith daily. Good but one issue...This app is great. The daily reminders work, the verses are encouraging, I like that they also have the whole Bible included rather than just having the verse images, and I sometimes will spend an hour plus reading through all the verse images because I lose track of time. I am, however, a little confused, and slightly concerned because of the ads. There aren’t a ton at all, and they hardly get in the way. But there have been some ads coming up for things like palm readings and tarot cards...what? The other ads are normal things like cars and whatever but for a Bible app? I love the daily deliveryEvery morning I have God’s word delivered to me. It’s not so long that you don’t have enough time to set aside for it. It is okThere are pros and cons to this app first off with the pros, in this app you are able to set a timer for like 6:00A.M. And it will be there another pro would be that you can just sit there and scroll through bible verses. Needs work.Ok, so I like that this app has bible verses and all, but it only gives you THREE free wallpapers. Three! I was looking for Christian wallpapers that were free, at least add more free wallpapers! Also, the app needs more wallpaper photographed in the DAYTIME. They are all either night or sunset or sunrise! I was looking for wallpapers in daylight, know what I mean? Also, I know that y’all are trying to make money, but a monthly prescription including ads?! That’s kind of a waste, in my opinion. If you read this developers, at least add more free wallpapers in the DAYTIME and maybe I’ll return to the app. Sorry if I was being a little rough around the edges, but to true and need to be fixed. “Targeted” AdsIt seems like the longer I use this app, the long and worse the ads got. The whole point of using this app, for me, was to start my day with the Word but you’re immediately bombarded with progressively longer ad videos and many of them unGodly - I could “tolerate” the quick picture or 2 second video, but when the ads got longer and now ads targeted for “woke” garage, that’s where I draw the line.
