Sincerely, -AsteriaThis app is a life saver, and life changer… I love using this app. It REALLY DOES HELP to read allllllll these letters and either respond with written words or even just giving a simple reaction to let the person know you read the letter and that they feel heard. You go through levels too. Based on how many responses you have written. I have written 122 responses and my goal is 600, I’m on a 19 day streak and have written my own letters of 10. This app is my safe haven and I’ll never delete/uninstall it. I highly recommend this app for your mental health or emotional support in general. Also. You pick your mood daily too. It’s a check in. Another great thing is that you get to choose your user name and pronouns and what topics you read about/see from others. You can also swap letters, if you dont like what you see and if what you see looks like a crisis or is someone talking about harming themselves and/or others you get to report it and swap it for another letter too. You can also block that user as well. I love this app. You will too. So go ahead. Download it now! Also thank you to all the developers/creators and contributors to this app! You have given the world a wonderful gift making this app. PS: They also have a discord server! You join it and then be directed to the upgraded server. Once you join the upgraded server you can leave the old one — or stay. Up to you. I think that covers everything lol. Sincerely, -Asteria Moon.Version: 1.46
YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THIS APPI’m not a fan of social media, but I still want to feel connected. This app is the best app I have EVER downloaded. You write an anonymous journal entry (prompts are given but you don’t need to follow them), and strangers respond with advice, shared feelings, anything. I’ve always struggled with journaling every day, and this makes me motivated to do so (I don’t want my family and friends to read my journal but when it’s anonymous you get real unfiltered advice and responses which makes you motivated to share your feelings to see if others feel the same way, you’re overreacting, etc). I am so excited to get my letters every day. I also love how they limit you to 3/4 so that you actually get excited (instead of it being endless and you don’t appreciate it anymore… endless cycle of tiktok…). This app reminds you that people are also struggling, and you are not alone. It’s real people and real stories and real feelings, much more refreshing than traditional social media will ever be. It helps me really reflect on my life and reflect on other peoples lives. I feel refreshed, grateful and grounded after I use this app. Instead of anxious depressed and sluggish. Download this app. You’ll thank yourself later..Version: 1.21
An honest reviewI got this app cause i thought it would be like, people being there for others and if they know the right thing to do, they would tell you and help you out i’ve discovered a lot of negativity, not towards me but like, i get so many negative and triggering letters. i know there is a trigger warning button, which i think is super cool, but its kinda small and im not sure others are seeing it? i dont want to bring it up to them and be like upset because they were trying to vent about something. i really do want to help others but when i put something that ive been struggling with for a few years, asking for advice, i had gotten a reaction from someone i had blocked because they did not use the TW button, and then they received my message. i then made another and ig maybe it went to them as well ? and then they tried to friend me ?? i had try to block them so it was just really weird, and what they said was NOT helpful in the slightest. it seems like a lot of people project onto others and i don’t really think thats what this app was made for? im honestly just confused as to why they were able to still send a reaction and then respond even though i blocked them yesterday. i really like this app so im hoping maybe it’ll just get an update that like makes it somewhat similar to other social media and makes it to where i can keep that person blocked or something, really anything at all cause ive tried to do what i needed to protect my mental health, other than that i love this app.Version: 1.31
I love thisI love this app and every day I go on there and read the letters I get sent and help other people and other people help me and sometimes helping other people make me realize what I have to do to fix my own problems and it’s just really helpful and it makes me happy knowing that I can help somebody else and I can tell somebody else my problems and stuff without having to know them and know everything they’re going through and not wanting to tell them because they’ve “ been through worse” cause I feel like whenever I try to talk to people about things I feel like I’m trying to Religulous roommate to their trauma or something, and I don’t want that but I absolutely love this app and there is ads but not that much when we after like every few letters which is basically like once a day and they are really fast cause you just click on them after like five seconds so I don’t really mind it and I don’t think there’s a word limit yet because I type a really lot and it is not told me to stop typing it so I love that.Version: 1.76
Amazing app, still has some glitches thoughI didn’t think much going into the app, thought of it as another knock off of another knock off, but when using it after a couple of days I thought the whole concept was really helpful. I’ve used it for about two months, and while I did seem to not use it for some periods of time I really have found it helpful all this time. For that reason I wanna share some of the bugs, glitches, and potential missed opportunity with the app (I have the free version) In the start, no problems, but after about a month or so I started having weird visual but also functional issues. Sometimes when I would log into the app the times would change, sometimes I’d be a day ahead or behind, letters worked the same way too. When I go back to my days with the reactions I have a hard time knowing what days I had my worsts and bests from, which to me is the biggest downside. Besides that I also think the way the conversation system is with friends can be a little wonky, but I also get that the app is mainly for sharing thoughts from various people about a situation. These are just the main problems I had with the app and wanted to share them, a 4.7 rating is a very accurate rating of the app..Version: 1.69
Only one issue ❤️❤️I love everything about this app. I’ve had it for two days and everything about it is so satisfying and I love it. You receive vents anonymously so you don’t know who the person is and you can respond anonymously so they don’t know who you are. you can also send out vents to people anonymously so they don’t know who you are too. I’m not gonna waste the entire time explaining this amazing thing. I can definitely see that the app is going to improve my mental health through the future. I have only but one complaint, and that is that you can only respond to people’s vents every 24 hours. I can kind of see why they made it like that so maybe people aren’t worrying about it all the time and so people don’t get their mental health affected by others problems but at the same I would spend my entire day, helping people, or just trying to make someone feel even a little bit better!! I love responding to these people with their problems and things cause it truly makes me feel like a better person and like I’m doing something good for not only myself but for others. And I even learn something from my own advice. So I think that you should be able to respond to people 24 seven or at least every two hours..Version: 1.28
Worth Trying, Just Not For MeI gave this app a shot after seeing an ad for it on Instagram. I normally ignore ads and scroll past, but this seemed like something I wanted to try. I have been going through the most heartbreaking, confusing, and frustrating time of my life recently and thought it would be nice to vent to strangers and maybe get some responses as well as respond to others going through hard times. It’s a good idea in theory, but there’s something about the way it’s executed just doesn’t sit right with me. I tried to be patient and wait for responses and even sent a few responses of my own to others, but there’s no guarantee that anyone will actually reply to your letter and I especially dislike how some people respond using only emojis—I know there’s a setting where you can change that but I am absolutely not signing up for a subscription just to do that or to unlock other useful features that shouldn’t be blocked behind a paywall. Not everyone can afford to pay for a subscription and nobody should have to sign up for one in order to receive support from anonymous people online. I fear that’s what apps like Reddit are useful for. More importantly, a singular emoji response seems very insincere and tone deaf to me, and even then, the responses from others seem to be rare/scarce. I still recommend trying this app if you think it may help you, but in my personal experience, it did not. The app itself is not necessarily bad, but it may not be what you need if you’re really in need of helpful feedback. Reddit (as well as other apps/platforms similar to it) might be better for that as you can still remain anonymous and have a higher chance at getting responses..Version: 1.86.10
Helpful AppI enjoyed this app for the time I used it. It was helpful to have a place to write thoughts down and also nice to be able to help others. That being said however, there is one aspect of the app that bothers me. Once you write a letter, you can’t delete it or take it out of circulation at least for some time unless you pay for the upgraded version. For an app that encourages you to pour your heart out honestly, I would really have thought it a necessary feature to allow the opportunity to withdraw letters. Sometimes you write things in the moment and your heart/mind changes, or you just wanted to get it off your chest then. Wanting someone to listen to you during a difficult time doesn’t mean you want someone there another time. Receiving responses to these same letters many days after can hurt when you’re reminded of something you would prefer to move on from or forget. Some words aren’t meant to survive the night, especially if they’re difficult to think about. I just wish this important feature wasn’t hidden behind a paywall. Other than that, the app is excellent with a very good interface, and I appreciate what it offered..Version: 1.60
Great app but could be improvedI just started using it and I think it’s a helpful way to connect to others and vent. Overall I love this app and will continue using it. Sadly it does have some minor things that could be fixed. It would be nice if there was a directory space so we could get to certain features on the app but there’s not really one so as a beginner it’s kind of annoying going from the main page to your old letters. It would be nicer if it was more organized. All in one page you have our responses, our letters, and read letters. It would be much more helpful if they were all separated but also easy to get to (ex. Swiping to the next page) I also think it would be cool to have a feature where we can see the matter written while also being able to respond to it. Also since sensitive subjects could are talked about here, it would be helpful to have the help crisis number somewhere in the app. I think these are the main improvements that could be done to make the app easier to navigate and enjoy. Thanks for creating a wonderful app and I strongly recommend for everyone to be a part of it :)).Version: 1.19
I adore this appHi! If you are lonely, need help or want to help others then this app is the sweetest. It is really intimate and personal without sharing any info. I adore your app but there are a few things I would like to mention. When I message people and I am in the chat, I get the banner notification, but their message does not show up. I either have to exit the chat or completely exit the app and then re-enter the chat/app for it to refresh. It is a little annoying. I would also say that in the friends inbox, I think that whatever you message them should be the last message that shows for that user. Then it is easier to remember which conversation is which. I also think that whoever you chatted with last should move to the top of the inbox. Kind of like text or really any other messaging app. It makes it less confusing. I love your app and have never written a review as I didn’t care that much. But I would love to continue using this app and would enjoy it more if you changed these things..Version: 1.28
Good app, but could use work.I’ve had this app for nearly two years and have been here in the earlier stages of its development. I think this app has always been a helpful tool for people in need to vent, get advice, and talk to others that are willing to help. It has a very positive and helpful community of those willing to create conversation. I’ve always loved giving people advice and in the earlier days, receiving it. Unfortunately, though. There are a few things I dislike about this app. First of all, I really dislike the emoji’s. Many times when I write a letter seeking advice, no one writes me back, and instead sends those emojis, which often disheartens me. I wish there was a way in which users who didn’t want to respond to letters could send them to someone else (instead of sending a silly emoji), so another person could help. It really hurts, as someone who responds to all the letters I can, to know no one wants offer me advice or say anything to me at all. I think another issue I have with this app is that it has slightly become sort of a cash grab. I understand that developing and keeping an app on the app-store takes money, but 7.99$ a week is sort of outrageous when all your features used to be free. I remember the drawing and music feature were all free back when I first had the app and I also believe that the ‘resend’ button on letters should be free as well, because no one responds to my letters!! This app is advertised as an app to have meaningful conversations with people, but nobody responds anymore. It has so much potential to help so many people and I know deep down originally that was it’s goal. I hope that somehow you can bring that community that I loved back, where we all helped each other, and the app was known for actually being beneficial. I just want Sincerely to succeed in what it was originally meant for: to give people the comfortable anonymity to vent and be themselves and for others to give advice and just.. talk..Version: 1.69
This app = my mental health+productivity 📈📈I’ve only been writing back to people for 2 days, and it’s already one of my favorite apps. I love how personable people get, and i love reading, and relating, to others issues. It makes me feel like i’m really able to help out a strangers day, which makes me feel happy :) My only “complaint” is that I can not write more than 4 letters, I hope one day enough people use the app so that I can write until my heart is content (never). The team behind this concept deserve an award of some kind because i can totally see this helping out a lot of people. Especially for teenagers, confiding in a stranger their age without bias, can surprisingly result in some of the wisest advice. You should absolutely download this app. Even if you aren’t good with giving advice, it’s still nice to relate to others stories. Or, if you need advice, then I strongly suggest downloading as everyone is so nice to each other and supportive. Someone out there who cares about you! -🐸💜 (look for the frog!).Version: 1.12
Interactions + Letter SwitchingI have had this app for only a few days, but I've really enjoyed it so far! I’ve only met nice people on this app as of now. It’s cool that you can add people so that you can talk to them more later. It feels nice to be able to talk about anything thats been on my mind, relate to other people, or even give others some advice. You can learn more about yourself by writing your thoughts down. One complaint I have is that the interactions can get extremely annoying. It’s fine when they pop up on your screen the first time, but it comes up every time I switch between the “Daily” and “Inbox” pages. It always has the red dot on my inbox and no matter how many times I check on the interaction it doesn't go away or stop. Still, it’s not a very big deal and it doesn’t affect my time on the app much. The refresh time is also confusing. The default is 8pm, but I set it to 12am. That didn’t change anything and it still refreshes at 8. It also says that you can write one letter every 24 hours unless you share the app with a friend. I’ve tried waiting the 24 hours, but when I came to the app an hour after the refresh, it had just restarted the timer and didn’t give me another chance to write a letter until the 8pm refresh. I don’t have enough friends to share the app with!! Update: I came back to this app after a bit of a break, and I found that the above problems have been fixed! I do have other problems now though. Sometimes when I refresh a letter, it’ll of course give me a new one, and after responding to other ones, it’ll give me the same letter I refreshed. I’ve also found that it doesn’t usually save my mood on the calendar. I don’t know if there’s a particular pattern, but sometimes it saves and sometimes it doesn't. I also know some people find the new ads annoying (I do too), but I understand why the creators of the app might need them now..Version: 1.53
I like the conceptI’m extremely scared to talk to people about how I feel, and this app makes me feel so much safer about making myself heard. I love that you’re anonymous and you can pick what you feel comfortable helping and supporting people with! But there’s two features I hate or am iffy on. 1.) The one that I hate: I completely understand you need money! No shame in that! But having writing more messages behind a paywall gives me a weird feeling. It’s says more of "No, we don’t want you to talk about that right now. Maybe wait 4 hours and see if you still have the courage to talk. If you can’t afford it that it TOO bad." Which gives a really BAD message to what the app is supposed to be about. If you still want there to be a maximum, which I think is better than having unlimited which could be taken advantage of, PLEASE PLEASE make it a higher number. 2.) The one i’m iffy on: I don’t think this one you have to pay for, which I’m SO grateful for that. There’s a feature when replying to someone’s message you can swap it for a different one. This helped me when I realized I had nothing that could be of support to the person, so I swapped it. And then I got another message I had absolutely no idea what to do, but I couldn’t change it. So I was forced to say that I basically can’t help them, if not then I’d just be choosing to ignore their message. Those are my only two complaints so far, other than that this app has helped me get something off my chest and I love that I can help other people. Thanks.Version: 1.52
Amazing, however..I LOVE THIS APP ALREADY. Thank you for providing a safe place to receive and provide unbiased, and individualized peer support. I am actually trained in active listening and emotional intelligence, and I used to have a platform to exercise those skills by helping others while being compensated for my time. I could literally do this all day every day, if it made sense to do so financially, because there is such a need for this space in a post-pandemic and technologically-and-financially-focused society that is losing touch with the simple gifts of love and support from one to another. You guys should consider offering an option for trained active listeners to provide consistent conversation and support to your app users! I would love to be able to contribute in any way I can and for as much time as possible. Crazy how much a little seed of kindness can start with one person and blossom and spread into huge acts of love and unconditional understanding, therefore making the world a better place one download and message at a time. God bless you all for doing this. It’s much appreciated, both from those you allow us to help and those who you allow to receive genuine care and love whereas they may not have pthedwise. God bless you! And may this venture of selfless love result in His Favor upon you and your well-intentioned plans for business. Love is what we need. You have made a safe space for that to occur in abundance. Xoxo.Version: 1.83.4
A Mental Health Must!Really this app is for anyone, but if you are struggling with your mental health, then this app is a must have! It’s a very simple and secure way for you to vent about literally anything that’s on your mind and a chance to really be yourself, but anonymously. Once you have submitted your letter it is then sent out to another random person on the app for them to be able to read and respond. You receive 3 new letters every 24 hours for you to read and respond to and once you have responded to someone’s letter they have the chance to keep the conversation going. I love this idea because you never know when you might be someone’s light at the end of the tunnel just by having a simple conversation with them. You have the chance to connect with people without all of the “social media” vibes. As someone who struggles with several mental health disorders, I 150% recommend this app to anyone and everyone!.Version: 1.84.0
I think its good but could use improvementI personally think that maybe the age separation should be brought back, im personally not one to write reviews often but i think that would help a lot. I think with how the app is structured now its directed more towards adults where as when i first started using it, it was directed at like 13+ and while yes people can very easily lie about their age i personally feel a bit more uncomfortable as a teen writing and having adults see it and give sometimes weird or off putting advice especially with certain things and that has deterred me from using it but back when the age separation was a thing most of the time the advice was normal and actually really useful to me other than the occasional rude stuff that is found anywhere, i also know from a few of my friends who used it that they stopped using it because of that change. I personally just think that would be a good change and i don't really have any other issues with the app..Version: 1.28
Remove reactions to others postingsI absolutely love this app and I feel that it’s a great way to get your emotions out and help others who may need it. The one thing i do dislike though is that people can leave reactions to your letters instead of actually responding. Some people may need genuine guidance/advice and it’s zero help whatsoever by dropping a heart emoji or something else in response to their letter. I know there is an option to skip letters, but far too many people ignore this just so they can keep leveling up and get ‘promoted’ for responding to others letters. This is no fault to the developers themselves, but I feel like you should either make people respond, or skip the letters entirely. I asked for guidance on a personal topic previously and got one written response.. and 7 emoji responses. I was so frustrated because I asked a question, hoping for actual written responses. It felt so discouraging to open up about something bothering me, just to have no one actually assist me aside from one person..Version: 1.22
Interesting but not for meThe app itself is interesting. However, I’m unsure as to why you can download the app for free as you cannot use the app for free. Once you download, you’re prompted to make an account and cannot proceed without one. You are then informed that you must sign up for the free trial and cannot use the app without paying a weekly or annual subscription after the few day (I think 3?) trial is up. I tried the app for about 30 minutes and decided it wasn’t for me. I then deleted my account and then deleted the app. I was then charged for a subscription without even having an account for it to be sent to. I find that beyond sneaky. The app itself makes me think of whisper with less pervs. You essentially click what kind of “letters” you would like to receive/read and are told you would get a certain amount daily. In reality you can just keep getting more and more and more, which is not necessarily a bad thing. You read the letters and can then decide to respond to them or ignore them and look at the next one..Version: 1.74
Generally great with room for improvementOverall I really like it. I think there’s a lot of opportunity to get things down on paper and get support. Two things knock a star off for me- as someone with religious trauma I reallllly wish there was a flag for religion so I could filter myself out of anything hyper religious. There seem to be A LOT of religious folks so if that’s an issue for you this might not be right. This probably could be solved by allowing a profile system that matched with like profiles. Second thing, there’s an emotions tracker and there’s none that are just fine. Most of the time I’m just fine but my options are either rage, anger, depression, sadness, and happiness. There’s just not enough neutral options for this to be a meaningful tracker. Like I said, I really like it, I just wish I could stop getting witnessed to when I have an issue. Also the app is genuinely free if you want it to be- I don’t know why so many folks think they have to pay. You really don’t..Version: 1.85.3
Love it, some suggestions thoughI absolutely love this app. being able to write my problems and thoughts down and getting responses back doesn’t only help me sort through them but it also is comforting to know that someone else took the time to write back. i absolutely love it so much and i’m gonna be using it forever. also, being able to respond to more people’s letters is so amazing. i’ve been here since the very beginning and having all these updates has been great!!! i have an idea though. i think it would be really cool if you could like go to a place that connected you with an anonymous random person and was just able to text back and forth. you could just ask about each others days, get some immediate advice, or just talk to someone if you really need it. like before you enter a chat you could choose if you want to get advice, give advice, or just chat and get matched with someone based on that. it could connect you with other people who also want to chat, but keep everything completely anonymous on both ends. getting immediate feedback or advice would be really helpful to some people. being able to hop on and ask a question would provide that. overall i think it’s an amazing app and i only see it improving and getting more popular!! i absolutely love it and hope to see it keep on growing!.Version: 1.6
Took me by surpriseWhile I have used many apps and have never written a review for any of them this one gets my first. The level of connection you get with people you don’t know yet have the same struggles you do is incredible. The fact that you can give life advice in a space that is judgement free is the greatest thing. This app has given me a voice that I was afraid to express because of fear of judgment. I can be honest with my feelings and open with my emotions to an extent that I never thought possible. If I have something on my mind I post it and a stranger has had some experience with what I am going through. They can offer advice or encouragement. They can show me things that I didn’t see. Truly this is app has made a difference in my mental state just knowing there are others that feel the same way. Try it. This is not an ad I am not a bot gimmie that captcha and ill prove it.Version: 1.58
GratitudesDear Sincerely Team, There are rare spaces in this world where silence feels safe, where honesty is welcomed without condition, and where the soul can speak without disguise. Sincerely became that sanctuary for me. It was here, in anonymity, that I found the freedom to untangle my thoughts, to meet my emotions as they were, and to discover clarity in the midst of uncertainty. What I did not expect, however, was that this space of quiet reflection would also open the door to connection and connection not only with others who carried their own truths, but with someone who would profoundly alter the course of my life. Through Sincerely, I met the person who has since become my significant other. His presence has been both grounding and transformative: he has enriched my days with love, deepened my understanding of myself, and encouraged me to grow into a truer, fuller version of who I am. It is difficult to put into words the magnitude of this gift. To have found both clarity within myself and to love beyond myself feels nothing short of extraordinary. Coming across my significant other was unintentional and happened to become the sweetest surprise, in him, I see not just my significant other, but “the one.” And in your platform, I see the bridge that made such a union possible. Thank you for existing, for holding space for vulnerability, and for reminding us that even in the quiet corners of anonymity, life has a way of guiding us toward meaning, connection, and love. My life is forever changed because of this. With profound gratitude, ctraltdel/AKD.Version: 1.84.2
Absolutely NEEDED this App in my life!I love everything about this app! Such a great idea. So glad I came across this! The letters are something I look forward to every night! I’ve made some great connections of people with the same issues that I have. As you get older I feel like most people don’t listen, so this makes it a way to help someone through my experiences in life, and of course they will read my response, so I am feeling heard. I feel good about helping others and it just gives me more ways to help. Expanding my reach! I would love to meet the creators of this app, actually I would love to work with them to create even more helpful apps. I have a few ideas. 😊😊 I would love to know how this app came about. Thank you to the creators for creating this safe environment for all who choose to share. You have made my life a little lighter!! You guys are great! Keep creating 💜👏🙏😊.Version: 1.61
Feedback/suggestions ALSO OBSSESSSEDDDI AM OBSESSED WITH THIS APP. BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST INSTALLMENTS ON MY PHONE. It’s become a part of my daily routine. I love being able to help out other people, even if I have NO idea who they are. I also get to speak my mind without feeling judged and feel SO SO LOVED. The app is so wholesome and its the healthiest environment I have ever experienced. I feel like I can say anything on there and not a single person will judge me for it. It’s my safe space. It’s like free therapy almost haha. Some suggestions/feedback though. The app runs VERY VERY SMOOTHLY which I LOVE THATT. I love how there’s no ads but obviously as the app gets bigger (hopefully there’s no toxic ppl) you may need to add them so u can make money hehe. I will still use this app tho obviously it’s the best thing ever and 100% worth the ads. It helps my mental health sm. I also trust ur administration abilities to pow pow the evils HAHA. Anyway I kinda wish I could send multiple letters in a day bc so much can happen in the span of 24 hrs and sometimes i dont get a chance to say everything i wanted to in one letter and forget something or another. I am also 100% ok with it if this ends up being an extra addition that you need to pay for or whatever. I will be willing because I LOVE THIS APP SO SO MUCH. I truly appreciate you and probably so many others do as well for creating this amazing app. I don’t usually write reviews but this DEFINITELY deserves one. Also how r u gonna see my suggestions without me saying anything, right?? I also kinda wish there was an option to see previous letters. I can see the ones I posted this current month but I want to look back and see the ones from December too that would be nice. Reflection on how I’ve been doing etc. also I’ve been reading a few other reviews and I 100% agree with them about adding a chat room. The idea of immediate response with a random stranger just to talk if you’re feeling lonely or whatever sounds like a really good idea! Keep up the AMAZING work though!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️.Version: 1.10
EXCESSIVE ADSI am extremely disappointed with the direction your platform is taking regarding advertisements. The decision to limit users to reading only ONE letter within a 24-hour period before being forced to watch an advertisement is, frankly, a terrible user experience. It feels less like a community-focused platform and more like a constant attempt to push advertising on people who simply came here for support, connection, and meaningful conversation. One of the reasons I enjoy using this app is the ability to read other people’s stories, share my own experiences, offer support to those who may need a different perspective, and seek guidance when I need clarity myself. Those interactions are what make this platform valuable. Now, however, you’re essentially telling users that they must sit through sales pitches and advertisements just to continue participating. Most of these ads aren’t even relevant to the reason people use this platform in the first place. What’s even more frustrating is that many of them have absolutely nothing to do with mental health, personal growth, or emotional well-being. At some point, it feels like the company’s mission is being overshadowed by advertising revenue. If your goal is truly to help people connect, share, and support one another, then these new restrictions and ad requirements are moving in the exact opposite direction. I strongly encourage your team to reconsider this decision before it drives away the very community that helped make this platform successful..Version: 1.86.10
I enjoy this app!I really enjoy this app! I love being able to help others and getting help from others. I just have a few things you could add there small things that would make it better (imo)! So first, I was doing the question of the day and didn’t know what to put for a tag so adding a tag for the question of the day would be cool so it’s easy for people doing it to pick that as a tag and to not sit there and think for a bit to see what fits it best. The second thing is making the option for putting a trigger warning a bit bigger/in a different spot so people don’t accidentally click the send button and put a letter out there without a trigger warning. Just saying this again I really enjoy this app those were just a couple of things that would make it a bit better but I’m not complaining about it I really enjoy the flow of the app!.Version: 1.20
Off my chestGreat Apple Watch I do have one complaint and one problem that I want them to fix and maybe like a future update so I cannot get the subscription to unlock like unlimited you know unlimited like like I can’t like write like all day every day and I have to wait for now more time just to write and I just wish like it was like free like I didn’t have to get a subscription at all, so can you change that? Can you work on changing that but other than that I like to I like myself a lot but just that whole subscription thing is I don’t really like that now I have to wait. I wanted to write again, which is kind of annoying so it’s really I I really really wish that this was a free app because I hate how many apps I have had like I have descriptions for so please update this app at some point and make this app be able to finally be free.Version: 1.83.4
I LOVE ITI got this app back in like February after I saw an ad on it and let me tell you, I really do not have any regrets on downloading it. You get to help people, and people around the world can help you too. I have met so many amazing friends my age on there and it is so comforting knowing that an app can make you find such amazing people. This app changed my life in the best way possible. When I had no one there for me, I had the amazing people on this app from all over the place to help me out of the dark hole I was in. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to wait until you can write another letter 😞 WHAT IF I’M REALLY HAPPY AND WANNA SAY MORE. Also, you have to wait until a person replies to text them again. I wish you could like double text the person yk because what if I forgot to add something or made a mistake😭 But other than that I LOVE ITTTT YOU SHOULD FOR SURE GET IT!!!.Version: 1.26
It does helpIt does help talking with people who are going through similar situations For the developers, I would suggest under the friends tab, being able to click on a friends profile and then it subcategorizes into every prompt you two have talked about. Being able to see all messages between the two people so it’s easier to keep track of conversations. Since we can’t do that, it’s hard to remember what you’ve said to people because we get new letters every day. If you end up repeating the same stories or advise, the person needing help might feel like “they already told me this, don’t they remember?” And then it could effect them in a negative way. I love this app. Its helping me heal. It’s a safe place for people with mental health issues talk with people who are going through or went through similar situations..Version: 1.57
Such a great idea! This app is such a cute idea. I love feeling like I get to be supportive to others, and it’s so nice hearing back from people. First off I’d just like to say to the developers that I tried to send feedback from the app, but it seems like the email might be incorrect because the message was undeliverable. Second I wish was that notifications could be customized. I want to just be able to receive my daily reminder that I have new letters. It’s been too many notifications in my opinion to get alerted for every response. So I’d love to be able to customize which notifications I want. At this point I’ll just have to turn off notifications. But overall I’m loving the app so much. It’s been a really fun part of my morning to respond to new letters, and then in the evening I love seeing what others have said back to me!.Version: 1.14
Good ideaTL;DR It’s worth downloading, I personally like it a lot, but there are some issues with responses. I really like this app, it’s nice being able to send out anonymous letters every night as a sort of journal almost just to get stuff off of my chest, and it makes me feel good about myself to respond to people’s letters every day and try to give them some good advice. However I think I’m one of the few people who actually cares about responding because it seems like my letters never get responses. I understand people join mostly to vent, but maybe there could be some sort of incentive for people to respond more frequently? Also the emoji responses are stupid because people can just use those as a way to reach their streak and level up without giving an actual response… anyways, very good idea, but the execution and the community aren’t very good. It could be improved though into a really awesome app! It’s definitely still worth using despite its issues..Version: 1.49
App idea is cool.. but people don’t respond. It’s a really cool concept, but it’s the users that’s drove me to cancel the subscription. I’ve noticed people just want to express themselves into an abyss, which can be really creative to see, but feels like my energy is being sucked when I’m responding to people’s letters per the purpose of the app, and get nothing in return. It’s especially draining because a lot of these letters are extremely long so that you’re committing your time to reading.. then it feels pointless when it’s not reciprocated or acknowledged. People just want to hear themselves talk, period. Maybe it’s just bad luck for me? Who knows. App could also use some UX and feature improvements. It will just continually send you letters as soon as you respond to one so it feels overwhelming, then you just have a continuous list of scrolling with no organization. For the long letters, it lags when loading and just shows a blank white page as you scroll..Version: 1.83.8
Good, but not greatI’ve had this for a bit, I first saw an add for it like 2 (or 1) years ago, and it was completely different. I don’t think it needs new and improved things. It has what it’s made for, but the whole pay premium thing is horrible. Might as well just say all of your problems in a AITA Reddit post and wait until it gets posted on TikTok. Don’t get me wrong I love the app but it’s just not the same. We have adds now, and premium.. it’s turning into Netflix. I think it would all be worth it if you’d still have the central purpose. But it’s just losing the point. Why do have to PAY to see more letters?? When we use to just respond to them and get more. WHY give us this feature if your going to take it away? I think this app is just becoming money hungry. Also premium is 7.99 A WEEK..!!! I loved this app, but I feel like the developers don’t care about it’s audience anymore..Version: 1.75
Triggers, Help, Not being able to GiveI beilve this apps helps people deeply. But after seeing a certain type of note today then looking it up… Im sorry to that family Im sorry to alot of people. I now try to spend my time helping people on here. if you need help this app can help, people will talk to you once the app lets them find you. Please dont give up Please please. It pains me to write this reveiw but all the others where good and I need s honest comminity, It can help but so etimes its too late. To those who are writing snd mot responding dont give up. I hope they add features and a support team. I dont wanna be this way but i could make this app as a dev myself, and if I where make it id have people working to make sure I dont have to see another note another life. With a simple feature we coulda saved a life. I dknt know if this can be considered a reveiw or warning or message please take it as it is..Version: 1.69
AdsI’ve had a decent time with the app, I use it to try to help others the best I can, and the format is easy to understand and use. But the ads are ridiculous, I understand having them as a free app, but the sheer amount that I get is unreasonable. I can get past the ads to read extra letters, but some of them are literally three minutes and unskippable. But the most annoying ones are the adds that suddenly appear out of nowhere while I’m either reading someone’s letter, responding to one, or writing my own. I’d purchase the premium version if it didn’t cost an arm and a leg compared to other apps, or if it had a one-time purchase option. For an app meant for helping people through their difficulties, and as a person who strives to do that every day, the cost of the premium version, and the amount of ads present on the base version seems a bit greedy to me, and I’m very conservative with my usage of the term “greedy”.Version: 1.86.00
I love this so much!!I thoughly enjoy being able to anonymous confess my thoughts and to help other out. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this or not, but it's really fun. I love to hear people talk about what they love because you can tell they really have a passion for what they write. When people write about their problems, you can truely feel their pain, fear, and/or confusion. Sometimes it's scary to read what others write, but you know in the end one word or even one reaction and mean the world to that person. Being told how much a stranger loves you and hopes you're safe and cared for is the sweetest thing you can every imagine. If you are truly anonymous in your writing you can show others how much a stranger can care. It's these little thing that can define your life, bit just starting them is the hard part..Version: 1.10
I love the app, just a suggestion!I love the concept of the app and it definitely is a good way to receive advice without anyone knowing ur business and to be able to help others on there problems too. Some suggestions though is to be able to respond to more letters and receive more letters, I hate only being able to write back to 1-2 people at a time once a day. And I feel like doing that, you’d have more activity on your app. Also it would be kind of cool to have side chats with that anonymous person but to somehow still keep each other anonymous, because sometimes I receive letters and it’s like telling a story and then leaving a cliffhanger at the end and sometimes I want to ask questions but I can’t receive an actual answer except “thank you.”..Version: 1.3.1
Better QOL pleaseThe app is good, I appreciate all the people that gave their life experience, thoughts, and inputs to my letters that showed me different perspectives of others. I will say that the UI and notifications for the app are still wonky and need fine tuning. I've made some pen pals although there are times when I don't get a notification from them and would have to go to their name in the friends list to see if they responded. Also, when you or a friend, respond to your latest letter, you don't see the previous letters that you were talking in. Maybe when you clock on their name, the letters that have been responded on either side shows so you can go between different letters from the same person. Just a thought. Overall, it's a good app to let your feelings out and people will respond with positivity and knowledge to help others..Version: 1.85.9
Absolutely love it, great concept. But this type of app shouldn’t be profitable.Hey developers! I really appreciate the time and effort put into making this beautiful program. It has helped countless people, formed stronger bonds between relationships, and changed the way people go about their lives. Seriously deep conversations happen in this app with complete strangers and it’s really effective that way. I haven’t run into any trolls or anyone who isn’t there to make genuine comments and help. The only issue I have with this app is that I will soon have to watch ads to help people once my trial expires. You guys are helping so many lives and so this should not be a cash grab app for the developers. If you guys need a profitable app you should figure out something that isn’t so crucial. Ads are not deserved on an app like this. Keep up the good work devs!.Version: 1.79
I missed the way it used to be.I really loved this app and it was something I frequently used. But now everything is hidden behind this big paywall. The ads were okay, but then they started taking almost everything from the people who couldn’t pay. It’s not even the fact that it’s eight dollars per week (which is pretty ridiculous in itself,) it’s the fact that I can’t even do something as simple as REACTING to anything anymore without paying. All you can do on the free version is make one letter, then you’re forced to wait until you can make another one, and respond to the little amount of letters you get, because again, if you reach the number of letters you can read, you have to wait. The concept of this app is so amazing but it ruins itself because it just seems so money hungry..Version: 1.80
This app is just GREAT but only one small issueAs I said in the title the app is literally so good for people who want to hide their identity but still vent and throw their feelings out there. It’s even better when people respond so you can see how they feel or what they’d do if they were in your shoes. These are people who have either experienced or is learning what you went or are going through!!! When you share a story, not only are you helping yourself but helping others read it, your teaching and preparing others. But as I’ve said theirs one small bug and I’m not sure if it’s just mine, but whenever I tap to reply to a comment my chat box doesn’t open up so I’m not able to respond to other people!! Please fix this bug ASAP!! Your app is literally so good and with that fixed I can only see it improving!!!!.Version: 1.25
I love itI’ve been hoping for an app like this FOREVER , i don’t really like opening up to my friends about my issues so this is SO perfect and i get to try and help other people. i love the hug feature i think this is SO smart and it’ll save lots of lives in the future. i hope this app takes off so more people can help each other, i think this will make a huge difference and i hope bigger app developers catch onto this idea..Version: 1.3.1
The membership feature ruined itThis was a really great app until the developers became money hungry. this was supposed to be a place where people could help others and freely express how they feel and it was supposed to be inclusive. now they've added a feature that discriminates against people that can't afford to pay either $50usd or $70cad or whatever other price depending on where you live. if you needed a way to generate revenue, why not just include ads? make people watch an ad if they want to write more than one letter a day. don't treat poor people as though they're inferior, because i really doubt that that's what the intention behind the app was..Version: 1.28
I love it!The newest update was possibly the best thing to improve the app! i love how anonymous things are and that correspondences now exist! the only thing i hope you consider adding in the future is a chatting space of some kind? like a one on one chat box with keywords to create matches? that would make the app a lot more helpful and cooler, but its just a suggestion!.Version: 1.5
:(I do like the app and I love it in theory. It’s nice to help other people and to get things off my chest but I never receive anything in return other than automated message, I’m just looking for advice and other perspectives sometimes. It’s nice I suppose to know someone has read it but I also have received some mildly hurtful responses. Like once I wrote about my struggles with general anxiety disorder and someone said “that’s a skill issue lol” :/ I was like wow that’s that helped a lot….Version: 1.16
It’s great, butYou’re not able to delete letters you send out without a subscription. I really dislike that feature..Version: 1.51
J’adoreJ’adore cela.Version: 1.85.7
It’s alrightI really liked this app at first but I have one big issue. Once you friend someone, they can see all the letters you post going forward and vice versa. I really wish there was an option to hide letters from friends. Even if the people on my friends list don’t know my identity, it still feels way less anonymous and it makes me anxious. Please add this option!!.Version: 1.86.8
LoveeeeSo ofc i loveee this app a lot. i really appreciate everyone that helps others get better or even give advice but i would suggest that the creator of this app removes the emojis to send as a response. its crqzy how people are so lazy and cant even write a simple message so they send an emoji for the streak. if you are that kind of person, consider yourself lazy and boring. you have no right to ask people for advice or venting when you cant even help others. so to the creator… please remove the emojis because its not helpful at all.Version: 1.86.00
I thought everything costed money! But I’m wrong! This app is great! I went back to it then quit because I thought it’s one of these apps that have everything behind a paywall, but for free, u can send one letter a day and write 3 responses and have unlimited chat! I have high hopes and I’m grateful I found it, talking to friendly people makes my day.Version: 1.85.3
Extremely helpfulThis app is honestly incredible. I love being able to respond to people and help them if I can, and other people can help me in return while remaining anonymous. Huge props to the developers for making this truly supportive app accessible for everyone. 💜.Version: 1.84.7
Good idea, over pricedLove the idea and would likely pay to subscribe and talk to ppl more BUT it’s really over priced. $10 a week (rounding up cuz it’s so close) like that’s more than Disney lol.Version: 1.85.0
Best app to vent toThis app is really safe and best spot to vent to! Everyone is so kind on there and you will feel like home and much better once you let it out! This app is basically my therapy! Whoever made this app is so smart and they did a great job! I love it! 🧡 it really keeps what you say as well.Version: 1.84.5
Was told to kill myselfWas told to kill myself but at least I got $20 😭.Version: 1.84.5
Need for payment to be nice??I was on this app for awhile before deleting it and it was by far one of the best support apps I’ve seen and I hope it still is. But just going through my first letters why do you need to pay to respond to extra ones?? Why are you providing discouragement from supporting more people?.Version: 1.84.5
Letters & moneyIt was a great app when I needed it. Then when I went back on it after a year I noticed the money greed the creators were after. Paying for letters having to watch ads ? To share my feelings ? An app which is supposed to be open for everyone isn’t that inclusive anymore is it cause I ain’t paying none of that I ain’t got no money for that. And also I got kicked out of my accounts never been able to log back In. I made a new account and none of my letters are sending so that’s just GREAT right amazing so it was nice now it’s meh.Version: 1.84.5
