Stardew Valley+ Customer Service

I love this game and have had a blast playing it, but it’s clear that the game was designed to be played with a mouse. My largest complaint is that the entire area of the screen is allowed to control the movement of the player. On my 13 Pro, where the screen extends to all edges, this presents a problem in that the touch controls pick up my palm (which is holding the phone and slightly touching the edge of the screen) as what it thinks is a control to move. This means that, when I’m just holding my phone and not trying to go anywhere, my character will stray to the right near constantly, because my palm that is holding the phone is also touching the very edge of the display, which the game picks up as a movement control. I can put my phone in a case, which mostly solves the issue because my palm touches the display less, but I don’t want to carry around a case just to play one game (I don’t typically use a case because it makes this already huge phone even more unmanageable). Oh well. I still recommend the game. Highly recommend even. It’s a wonderful “cozy game” that has the polish of a professional dev team, but the love and attention that would go into a personal project. ConcernedApe has something to be really proud of here. Just be ready to hold your phone at odd angles (if you don’t have a case). I’ll be purchasing the regular, non-apple arcade version of the app as well to support the dev. It’s a wonderful game, just hard to play on the phones that are all display and no bezel.

I’ve been absolutely addicted to this game for the past three weeks or so, and I’ve loved every minute of game play. The music is so calming, and the game content keeps you wanting more. It’s very easy to get caught up in the game and next thing you know, three hours have passed! So yeah, I’d say it’s pretty cool. But why the four stars instead of five? Well, it’s simply because there are quite a few bugs. Yes, some of them are pretty harmless. There seems to be an audio glitch where the fishing pole reeling sound and the black smith area sound will keep playing and won’t stop unless you close out the game. Not to terrible, right? Well there is one particular bug that is quite the opposite. It seems like sometimes when accessing the artisan bundle in the community house, the game won’t unpause when you exit out. You can’t fix this unless you exit out of the game, but it DOESN’T SAVE THE GAME! There have been plenty of times when I’ve gotten a lot done in an in game day, only for it to be stuck paused and I loose all my progress. This is very frustrating quite obviously. While I understand that this game hasn’t been out long on Apple Arcade, I can not give five stars in good faith unless some of these glitches are fixed. First, I love this game. Had the paid version before getting Apple Arcade+. FYI, if you have both you will see your game saves from both in either version BUT if you try to play the Apple Arcade version on your paid Stardew Valley app the updates to the paid app will not be applied. They fixed the pet water bowl issue for the paid version in 1.6.12. They still have not fixed this issue in the Apple Arcade version. They also haven’t fixed the sizing issue for iPhone 16 Pro Max in either version of the game. Probably because in the screenshots it doesn’t look like there is a huge issue which isn’t the case. I would rather pay a reasonable amount for updates if it means the updates are better fleshed out. The game is worth paying for updates…. But only if they are not as buggy as all the updates from 1.6 have been to date. I have gotten so far in my saved game in Apple Arcade and would hate to start over again in the paid version but I may have no choice to have a less buggy experience.

YOU NEED TO GET THIS- NO WORDS, get either the arcade version, or the original if u don’t have arcade. BUT ITS SO GOOD! I got this recommended by my best friend, and he was RIGHT that I would like it. First of all, You can choose many things. Your name, favorite thing, town name, what u look like, and best of all, where u LIVE. There are so many varieties of places to live. There are beaches, river homes, and I picked wilderness. ( I just liked it and I thought it was aesthetic there was monsters at night idk why) your story or whatever is determined based on where you live, because the people you meet are always different. And one of the main parts of the game is, finding someone you love or something, and marry them! What’s cool is when you go into some house or something, you can’t enter certain part’s without being good friend with whoever it belongs to, which adds a lot to your limitations, in a good way. I like the idea of the story a lot, how you live in a overwhelming life in a city or something, and your grandfather has you move out to the “simple life” to build a life there. And farm and do whatever! Last thing, there is ALOT of adventure in it, there are caves, you can take a bus soMwhEre, and the map surprisingly expands very far! Thanks for reading!

Love the mobile version, it is a little buggy though, I’ll get into that in a sec though, I really appreciate the creators making a mobile version of the game as I don’t have a Switch and it isn’t really a game I’d play on console and for the most part it runs super well!! But occasionally my fishing sound will get stuck playing when I’m not fishing, and almost every time I boot up the game, I’ll get most of the way through whatever day I left off on, and my screen goes Black and I can’t do anything, I have to close the game and go back through my entire day again, it only happens when I first boot it up so I’m not sure if maybe it’s just what I play on or if it’s the actual game itself (I play on an older IPad) but other than that, I love it!

I love playing this game and highly recommend it, but every time i fish in the game, if i catch more than like 3-4 fish, then the next fish i catch the “reeling in” sound will play continuously even when not fishing. i have tried going to bed and it still plays during the income screen and will be playing the next morning. i have tried exiting to title and it will still play. i have to completely exit out of the game, and swipe it out of my open apps to then reopen it for the sound to finally not play. it is extremely aggravating especially when it happens during the beginning of a day i want to save so i have to listen to it until i can go to bed to save and close the app. i do not know where else/how to report this so hopefully these actually get read by concerned ape and they can patch this in the next update!

This is my first time playing this game. I am in my 9th year in game time. I really enjoy this game. It is very addictive. I only have a few requests that I wish they would fix/improve. Mostly, I wish they would allow us to turn off or remove the auto arrange buttons in the inventory/chest/backpack/mini refrigerator & etc. It is extremely irritating as you are unable to arrange items into any reasonable order to find anything especially in the chest & mini refrigerators. I’m playing on a touch screen & if I hold an item too long or put too much pressure then it auto arranges (totally messes things up). I don’t even have to touch the auto arrange button. Second, the day in the game could be a little longer to cause less stress. And if we pass out on our own property then we should not be charged by Dr. or fined otherwise.

This game is an absolutely amazing game and I have so much fun playing it. I have it on switch and Xbox as well but playing it on the phone is super convenient. However the controls options are somewhat limited. It has a touch to move kind of thing similar to league of legends, and then it has a joystick with buttons configuration which is the one I use. Honestly though I hate having to use the joystick because of the traction with the thumb… it’s hard to explain but it just bugs me. A simple solution to that is to just add an arrow/D-pad configuration. Since the movement is very simple with only being able to go horizontal vertical and diagonal. It would be very simple to add it into the game and honestly would make my experience 10 times better. Devs if you are reading this PLEASE ADD THE D-PAD CONFIGURATION

I love this game so much, so happy it released on Apple Arcade!! I have a few things to say to the negative reviewers: For those saying the cutscenes break randomly, try not tapping the screen until it finishes. If you zoom in or out it will break it. And also the one guy that says it will randomly zoom in all the way, he’s touching the screen with his other finger and not realizing it, I know from experience. For those complaining about the controls, have you even looked in the settings?? There are a few options that make it way easier to control if you just take the time to experiment. Personally I use invisible joystick and 2 buttons and I adjusted the button sizes where I want them. Lastly, those saying the game crashes a lot, I’ve only experienced a few really game breaking things, maybe like one or two crashes. Other times I’ll accidentally do something wrong with zoom and it makes the whole screen black and forces me to quit. Idk why it would crash so many times for so many people but I feel like it’s a hardware issue for most of them. And of course the game will crash and have bugs, all games do. Not trying to be mean just trying to help everyone else have a great time playing the game! Can’t wait for haunted chocolatier!

I am very obsessed with this game. So far, I have played 20 hours within the past week and a half — and I have loved it! My search history has been filled with Stardew Valley questions like, “How to marry a person” “What are Haley’s favorite gifts?” “Does Haley help on the farm?” Do children help on the farm?” So far, I have only gotten to good answers from thoughs. In retrospect, I should have expected the children to not be capable of manual labor if Haley can’t. Also, the art it this game is amazing. It’s almost like a drawing of a real person. The only complaints I have are that NPCs can’t help with farming. Other than that, this game is cozy, really gets your emotions going when you figure out how to marry someone, and really helps with long trips or days you’re feeling down. 5 stars.

I wanted to know how do I increase hearts with characters and for example how to upgrade my house but so far I love the game oh another thing the controls and as to how to interact with the characters is confusing if there was a joystick to move and like a cartoony glove with a finger pointed like the one that tells you how to click the box could make it much easier to just overall play the whole game because tapping with your finger is inaccurate so it would just work after 1 try for me games with joystick and a click button or slot is better for controlling your character overall I hope you can consider this and I have encountered no bugs so far since it’s definitely not my hardware due too it being from this year. Ok one thing I want to know is what seeds are recommended like at this point idk what’s the point of getting money because what will I use it for I mean more house upgrades would just make the house bigger etc but I would appreciate the extra gold besides my mushroom farm yeah it makes a ton through the whole winter made me 4k but it takes 2 days to grow depends your luck forget what I said 4k gold is shameful it only took me 2 hours of gameplay to make 40k gold translating to the whole season of spring without including the costs I payed for the seeds because I’m trying to get the overpriced nursery upgrade I bought 130 melon seeds not watermelon but melon I’ve estimated I’ll have 80k gold by summer day 15 in total but earned 40k. More after that I plan to go to joja to get the membership for 5k gold so they will renovate the old community center after that there really is no point due too there is just better ways to farm upgrade tools make clothes that’s it and the irrigators besides for some reason my oranges reached purple star rank: edit look don’t get me wrong it’s great but after upgrading my house which btw cost 60,000 or was it 100,000 I find out next upgrades just get crazy expensive like man first of all watering 140+ crops is hard and that’s even if they are good to be able to make millions I would have to build hundreds of automatic sprinklers let alone scarecrows and more because right now farming animals just too long and expensive

Great game overall, my first experience with stardew valley and its due to apple arcade. It would have been great if mac support could have been added or apple tv. I like the aspect of my saved data being synced to the cloud so I can play on both my phone and ipad but adding mac would have been the missing piece. Or if at least game controller support can be added, touch controls are not always the best especially on smaller phones. Would also like to mention that there is a bug when fishing that the audio after a few reels would get stuck and sound like you are reeling fish even when done fishing. Hope my feedback actually gets recognized, I have put over 40 hours since apple arcade released it. Could get so many more into the game.

OK, so this is the story I was just waking up and it’s summer so all my plants from spring died so I get out of my house and walk up to the city and then I go into that seed shop and then I buy some watermelon seeds and pepper seeds so I go back home and then I plant the seeds and then all of a sudden the screen goes black and that’s like the fifth time that happened so I have to restart the game and then I get to the menu where it says do you want to continue your game? And then I obviously press yes and then when I get back to planting my watermelon and pepper seeds, the dang game goes and does it again so yeah this game is amazing but please this game needs a bug fix update, but this game is five star quality on everything else

Amazing game SO fun and genuinely unique. i have 1 greivance. there IS a way to throw stuff out of your inventory, it should just either be explained that you throw it at the *total farm revenue* area, or they should make it so you can throw an item out any direction. Here is the bug with that: during fishing, if you have a full inventory with another item to pick up (like a new fish or treasure chest) that exceeds your capacity, there is no way to throw an item out of your inventory then. you have to let the new thing go, or throw something away. another teeny greivance is at the end of the day if you level up, there are no pictures (e.g, unlocking dish o the sea). again other than the fishing item thing, its a beautiful game and so worth it

I love Stardew! It’s super cute and cozy AND there aren’t any ads. There’s a ton of stuff to do so you won’t get bored and if you get stuck, there’s a pretty big wiki for tips and things like that. It’s really relaxing and there’s a lot of different music which is nice. There’s so much stuff that every player plays differently, like whether you want to focus on family (there are 8 marriage candidates), on farming (there are a ton of different crops for each season), on decorating (I’d suggest getting a furniture catalog when you have enough), or on animals (there are a lot of animals that Marnie sells and a few secret ones… I’ll just say that if you find a strange egg, not a chicken or duck egg, you should probably put it in an incubator or save it). If you don’t have Apple Arcade there’s another version that costs money, but I think it’s worth it. On my longest farm I’m on Year 8, and on my best (most money made the quickest) farm I’m on Year 3. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes life simulators, farming games, family games, fishing games, or just really cute and cozy games! Here are some tips: If you go on the wiki be careful of spoilers. If you haven’t heard about something, don’t click on it! Make sure you know about the bachelor/bachelorette you’re going to marry. Be very sure about what you name yourself and your pet (once you get one), and research all the farm types (maybe look up someone comparing them). You can also change your clothes (LATER ON) so don’t overly stress about that, but still choose colors and styles you think look nice. In the first season you’ll want to fish a lot and use that money to buy seeds. There’s a very helpful (but very strict) guide to the first four days which you might want to use. If you’re stuck, use the wiki while being cautious of spoilers.

This is a great combo of games! On one hand you have a farming sim, the other you have an action adventure game. It takes time to do things so be prepared for that. Exploring 3 areas in total (Mine shaft, Dessert area cave, and the Volcano area) there is always something to do. Main Island: The town and your main farm. First off, my hats off to the one man show Concernedape. You are impressive to have captivated so many people by making this game. 👏👏👏 that being said. On the mainland you have the starting point. This town has everything a town could want even a bar with 2 mini games in it. There is a Clinic, a grocery store and even a book store to the northeast side of town. Area 2 is a dessert with a bottomless cave in it. New enemies to kill and challenges to overcome. Island number 3 is basically a huge greenhouse where you can grow anything any time you want. With a super important volcano cave on the north side. You have some skills I’ll give you that. But I’m gonna ask something I’ve not seen anyone else ask yet. Now that the final patch and updating is coming out. Are there any plans for a part two?

I absolutely love Stardew, so I was super stoked to see it available on Arcade. I’m 19 days into my first spring, but just had to force quit the game because of the bugs. Sometimes moving across the map between sections is buggy, as is attempting to buy seeds at Pierre’s. I just got stuck in the mine and Linus found me because the game froze while I was being attacked. I also wish there was a better system for manual attacks, as I try to attack the creatures, and the game switches to my other tools mid hit. Having to force quit and not being able to save is so frustrating because I don’t even know what I lost/gained that day. I know it’s a game on a new system, but I really hope it is upgraded soon so it feels semi-similar to other systems.

So I got this game a wile back and I just loved it. After a wile I stopped playing it, but I wanted to play it again this month. For a little wile my life has been pretty stressful, but this game really made me calm down and feel Safer! I know not all games are perfect so it’s usual to have bugs. There is one but in particular that annoys me though. I like to call it ‘the fisher’s bug’ because so sometimes after you are fishing the reeling sound won’t stop so I have to sleep, and then get out of the game and go back in it. But other than that it’s an amazing game! Thank you so much for making this game! Also try out the og it’s pretty much the same!

I’ve been familiar with SDV for a few years, but have never gotten around to playing it. I downloaded it the day it came out on Arcade, and i’ve been hooked ever since. I achieved perfection on my first save file today, 160 hours in. The game balances its mechanics perfectly, with a variety of dungeons/mines, environments, etc. The game be a bit grindy, especially with the amount of walking, but there are ways mis and late game to circumvent this. Auto Attack is a pretty decent attacking mechanic, but I’d recommend practicing using attack joystick & buttons to give you more control if you want to primary a club. if you’re not interested in using a club, you can stick with auto attack as the specials for the swords and daggers are a little more situational. Note, you can still use a special attack with auto but it is more finicky, hence my recommendation. The fishing mechanic feels good on mobile, you get used to it after a while. There are a few bugs regarding fishing, namely, the inability to cancel the fishing mini game even though you can see the cancel button. A more niche bug is a problem with the quality bobber, which simply doesn’t do anything as of now. Other than that, mechanics are great. The lack of automation is a little disappointing, especially once you reach endgame and you’re making 250+ starfruit wine (or ancient fruit, depending on your stockpile) a week. I love the marriage mechanics, although children having no particular use other than using them to show off hats is kinda eh. These are really my only complaints. I really enjoy the game, it has tons of replay value, and I plan on getting it on PC to start playing SVE and have more content. This play through was genuinely one of the best gaming experiences i’ve ever had, if not the best. 10/10 ps. screw the junimo kart mushroom level

I think this game is so fun and addicting, I absolutely love the cute animals and how you build up your life from the ground up. I also like that you don't have to click 3 things and win, you work hard and then your work pays off. If you look at all the reviews (like me) then don't be distracted by the age ratings. The game pays off unless you get upset/frustrated with games easily. And if you want all the benefits you may want to marry. But keep in mind that this is a hard game to get good at and have the best life, but work hard and keep calm, and you will not be able to put your device down!!! It’s amazing!!! But I recorded the funniest bug, Alex walks through the tv, the bed, and the wall and walks off the map and off my screen and I’m like “he’s not supposed to walk off the map😭🙏😭” but when I got back into the game it was fixed and he walked into the tv and just stood there starring at it but also I had an idea: what if you give us the ability to type what we want to say to the people and use AI to respond to what we said based off their personality? Please take this idea into consideration and with it, it would get you a lot more people to get the game wich means you get more money so think about it please.

This app is absolutely wonderful, from the quests, to the people, or the creative aspects. I’m extremely satisfied with the gameplay! Also idea, do you think that you could make it so you can write stuff in the calendar, like reminders for that day on a calendar you bought form robin, and when you sleep I could have this extra thing when switching to the next day to say, reminders: (insert written message)/none. That would be really helpful because I often forget to do things around the farm because there are so many fun distractions! Just a suggestion i absolutely love this game!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

NOTHING THAT I DISLIKE ABOUT THE GAME ITSELF!! Its a great game and I enjoy it VERY VERYYY MUCH!! Its amazing💗 very fun and i am SOO close to getting married to Sam😁 anyway the issue im having is that when im listening to my own music and then try to open the app, the title screen goes black and doesn’t change at all, or if it does it just stays like that. Im not sure why that is but if you guys made it to where i am able to listen to music while playing OR just turn off my music and not freeze, that would be amazing. I don’t know if anyone else is having this issue, hopefully not but I really hope this is fixed if so❤️

Stardew valley+ is a great game. In the past day and a half (the time of the post) since the game was released i have played 17 hours (yet i keep restarting and im day 16) so far the game is super fun; i befriended Caroline to steal her tea recipe, i am in mayor dept, ETC. I do have some trouble with not everything being perfect (i am a perfectionist) i restarted 4 times so far, but overall the game is GREAT The only issue i have with the game is that every now and then when i open the menu to look at my friendship, clean my inventory, change my settings, etc. When i close the menu back my game crashes and i need to start the game again

I really love this game and I think your an amazing creator and I can’t wait until haunted chocolatier comes out I have a suggestion though I would love it after you reached the summit/perfection it would be nice if you had like a sandbox mode where you can adjust your friendship with people give unlimited gifts and spawn items because mobile doesn’t have mods to do that so I’d think it’d be a really nice because I play on mobile and I’d like there to be a feature like that anyways thank you for the wonderful game I wish I could give this game 100 stars

I love this game so much and have at least a couple hundred hours on it by now. My only complaint is a few of the bugs and the slow update time. The 1.6 update officially came out earlier today and I don’t know if my device is slow or if it’s because I play through the Apple Arcade but I still haven’t gotten it yet. It’s extremely frustrating and if there’s a solution I just don’t know about then please enlighten me. Nothing against the actual game itself, I have tons of fun and play it very often. This complaint is more for Apple themselves

Love, love this game and I hate to give it less than 5 stars. The platform is the Arcade Mobile version for iPad iOS 26.1 and it’s been glitching - A Lot! - lately The Farmer gets stuck mid motion and flickers. Gifts in the tally are not updating so when trying to regift it tells you’ve already gifted ! Screen suddenly goes black, sound still is on but game has to be restarted. Using the default control setting with the auto attack and when in combat it picks the gold scythe tool instead of a weapon tool Lots of similar bugs keep cropping up. Please look into it. Thanks!

Played this game all the way through before it got the Ginger Island update. Love the pace and different things to do. Few bugs in this update that weren’t there in the earlier version. The fishing reel sound that others have mentioned - not sure what triggers it since it doesn’t happen all the time. My tea plants that are planted in garden pots in the house are only producing leaves for a couple of days then they stop for over 7 days, then start again. This started in winter - before that they were giving a leaf every day.

I’ve been playing this game for a long time. With the latest update there was a bunch of new things to find. Fishing is the thing I used to have trouble with. After figuring out the poles I could buy I don’t have that problem. Practice makes perfect. The right bait and hook and it’s a breeze. The slingshot sits in one of my trunks unused. Even during the fair where you can play the slingshot game I’m no good. I now play on my pc, switch and tablet. I could play on my phone but it’s got too many great graphics that I can’t see on it. (I’m old) I find my tablet the easiest for me. I’ve played the JaJa route and bought my way through and the community center route. They both end with me starting the game over so I can play some more. I’ve played enough I’ve married everyone you can marry, tried being engaged to all of them at once - interesting outcome 😵‍💫 Looking forward to the next update.

I really enjoy this game. I’ve played a lot of farming sims and this game definitely puts them to shame. Granted there’s no equipment or anything like Farming Simulator for instance but you’re not farming on that grand of a scale. You have to manage what land you have and make the most of it. I love all of the extra features like making friends, mining, fishing, panning and restoring the community center. I’ve been playing this game for about two months now and it still gets my full gaming attention every day. I’m still very captivated with this game. Excellent work to the developers.

I’m so happy to finally experience the cultural phenomenon of Stardew Valley now that it’s come to Arcade. My first sim was ACNH which won me over with the design and graphics but didn’t come close to the depth and dialogue of SV villagers. Because of that, it’s a shame that I’ve come across a frequent bug in which many (not all) cutscenes are frozen. The only button that works is “skip” meaning I have no input on which dialogue box is selected and how it affects my friendship with the villager. I’ve compensated by watching the scenes I missed later, but this definitely affects the game play and I hope it gets fixed soon! Thanks ConcernedApe!

I love this game and have been obsessed with it for years, and am excitedly awaiting the update on November 4th. There is one thing that keeps getting me. The swap to previous save button. I’ll go to save a backup incase my game crashes or something, and end up hitting the swap to previous save button because it’s right above it. I guess I just don’t understand why the button is there? If something happens in game that you need to undo everything you just did, you can quickly exit out right? I’ve just had this button hurt me more than help me, especially lately.

This game is super addictive, however there are plenty of bugs. Sound glitches like the reeling in noise when fishing after you caught the fish. And also the game will totally freeze if your fighting monsters and you try and eat some food last second, which doesn’t even get added to your health or energy. Some “fixes” for these I end up resulting to like with the sound bug is turning my volume down to muted, but that affects my reaction time. And then just waiting out if my game freezes. Or ultimately just completely logging out and restarting the app.

I want to play Computer 1. Version 6, the author will update it quickly! There are still many bugs in the game. The sound of pulling the fishing rod will always be there at the end of the fishing. If you run away from the monster in the mine, you will get stuck. Fishing under the fishing rod in the water, and the characters will run around. When switching the button, the button will disappear. Please update the author quickly and fix the bug as soon as possible. Thank you.

I love Stardew Valley. I’ve been playing it for a few weeks and I find it fun and cozy and just generally relaxing but recently I’ve been wanting to be able to converse with the characters. I find it fun sometimes to go up to them and just see what they have to say but recently I’ve been noticing that sometimes they say stuff that I just wanted to say stuff back to. and I know there are some features where sometimes they give you a response, but that’s only the occasional and I would just really like to be able to talk to them especially the football dude.

Going to keep this short and sweet as possible… Game overall plays well, and the option for different controls is nice. However not being able to remove bait or the lures on the fishing poll is annoying. Other issue is what many other have seen, which is the never-ending reeling noise glitch which is only stopped by ending the day to save and then killing the app process. If possible having the game auto save on mobile would be more beneficial that the save that happens about 10 seconds after going to the Home Screen.

I love this game! So much to explore and build! Engaging storylines, lots of good world building. My only issue is that I can’t progress in several places on Ginger Island, due to being unable to access the Journal Entries I’ve collected, as well as being unable to get very far in the Skull Cavern. It is incredibly frustrating to have no way to continue your progress in the Skull Cavern. Maybe something could be added where after you hit floor 40? 50? you could have your progress saved? Otherwise, an excellent game I plan to play again and again!!!

Stardew valley is a great and addicting game, I personally enjoy it but I have found a few bugs for example when I was planting some kale and just tapping to fast and crazy. Then I went from having 50 kale seeds to only having 37! 13 kale seeds disappeared to nowhere and I had to go buy more seeds that was just losing me money. Another weird but less annoying bug is that you can water plants next to a scarecrow or a plant that you can’t walk through infinitely just soaking up water.

This game is just as good as the pc version, the amount of content in here allows for hundreds of hours of entertainment. The controls are easy to get used to however the joystick seems to be a bit stiff at times. Also, there are quite a few bugs here and there that could be fixed as-well. Overall, this is a must have game for all ages and play styles. There is so much for you to explore and interact, definitely check this game out for yourself. If any of the developers read this, please bring the “Always Show Tool Hit Location” as an option in the settings. Sometimes it is hard to see where my equipment is going to be used on which tile. This quality of life feature would be much appreciated if implemented.

The cutesy, two dimensional Stardew Valley, was originally released to PlayStation Four and Xbox One in mid-December of 2016. ConcernedApe developed, designed, and later published the new indie, RPG, farm simulation to many other game services. Rated an average 95 percent, Stardew Valley is extremely liked and enjoyed by it’s community. When starting the game, you choose your own name, character, favourite thing, and the location and name of your farm, allowing players to choose their own adventure. Eric Barone spent four years teaching himself game development to produce Stardew Valley’s music, art, and design. Barone was the sole developer and built the game on Visual Studio from scratch. His dedication and perseverance was detrimental to the games success. The pixel art style is bright, nostalgic, and reminds players of earlier games, but now with more functionality. Once you’ve chosen your path, you’re explained by Grandpa that he has left you a letter to open when you feel like you need a change in your life. Fast forward to your typical 9-5 office job; you open the letter, revealing that he has left you the directions to his old farm, now to your own discretion. Lewis, the town mayor, welcomes you upon your arrival and shows you the way of your new life. Your new life includes farming, social relationships, mining, fishing, and exploring the world around you. As you progress, you’re given new tasks and missions to complete. There is also a multiplayer option, if you would like to experience the farm life with others. You can go into town, speak with NPC’s and build relationships with them by chatting and giving them gifts. To make some income and make the farm your own, you may clear it of it’s overgrown nature and grow your own crops. Stardew Valley is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a laid back and relaxed way to play. However, if you’re looking for a game with PvP, thrill, and endless adventure, this is not the game for you. Although there is fighting of the environment and many things to accomplish, you will have eventually completed every commodation to perfection. The game will not stop you, but there is no further way to progress. Unfortunately, Stardew Valley can begin to feel repetitive. Wake up, water your crops, fish, mine, and complete tasks for the NPC’s. You can unlock new areas or start a new game in a different location if you start to feel bored. However, in this new location you will do the same thing you did before, but now in a different map. Once you feel like your farm is at the best it can be, and you’ve completed every task in the game, you’ve done all you can do. Overall, Stardew Valley is a great game. You can spend time with your friends creating your own little world. The adorable game can easily be accessed due to its accessibility across many gaming services and low attention requirements. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a light and simple game to enjoy.

Overall have loved this game for a long time but this version has a lot of bugs. A BIG one happening when you connect a Bluetooth controller, all of the controls are fine but the game will completely crash and reset you to the beginning if you happen to press a certain button while in the crafting menu. I have had to replay the same day over and over again because every time I try to exit the crafting menu using the O button or sometimes if I press R2 on my ps4 controller the game goes black and the app closes. Please fix this bug, I’ve never felt so defeated in my life.

I can’t play with friends

It’s really really good, the only thing is, it’s a bit buggy. I can’t finish the introduction quest cuz it keeps lagging and not letting me talk to the final person. Otherwise it’s an amazing game.

Have a lot of fun with the game, and have for quite some time, I’m almost finished my eighth year, so I’m obviously enjoying the game. However. The glitches. For some strange reason, 60% of the time when I enter the slime hutch, my character freezes, and I can’t move, I can’t select anything, I can’t teleport out of the slime hutch, and I have to restart the game. Which means that I have lost everything I’ve done up until that moment. Which is beyond frustrating. Additionally, about 20% of the time when I wake up in the morning and go to greet my kids or my partner, even though I’ve touched nothing else on the screen, except for that character, I want to interact with, suddenly furniture has moved from somewhere in the house and I now have to replace it. Example: I tap on my partner who is in the kitchen, and suddenly the painting from the wall in the northeast room has come off the wall and is now available to place in the house. I have not touched the screen with anything other than my pencil on my partner. So I don’t understand how this is happening. And when I am riding my horse, and I have just entered a new screen, if I touch the map too far away from my character, suddenly my character goes back the way they came from instead of moving forward. And a suggestion for the developers: It’d be amazing if I could lock my chests to prevent them from auto arranging. In the same way that I can turn off my jubjubs from collecting from my farm, I would love to turn off the auto range because it is directly beside the X to close the chest and roughly 40% of the time that I tap the X, it auto ranges my chest. And this is infuriating for me because I am left-handed and the game is only made with a right-hand interface. Despite the above feedback, I really do enjoy the game! These are just some things that are infuriating. Like the only reason I’m writing the feedback right now is because the slime hutch froze on me and I really want to stab the slime hutch, but the last time I got really annoyed with it and tried to move the slime hutch, it completely disappeared along with my slime hatchers and I had to re-construct everything.

The mobile is just as good as the other one! Fishing and fighting and my favourite thing and I don’t like how you have to pay to divorced but it is a super fun game!

Can you make multiplayer easier to do because I have no idea what to do

I am enjoying the game so much but I’ve had a bug with moving any of my farm buildings, I get the option at robins but once I click a building it just turns green and I’m unable to move it to another area, I am not playing in Multiplayer

Love the game…… but there’s no multiplayer mode in the Arcade version :(

I love this game so much. The music is so calming to me. The little apple guys (I forget how to spell their names) are so cute, and the chickens of course. I recommend to anyone who is trying to escape life and have a peaceful time while doing it.

Let me start out by saying, the only reason I’m writing the review is because this game is amazing. And oh, it just makes me want more! I wish the talking capabilities of the villagers was much more open with variation, I know it seems impossible. But if there was ever developed a system where you could type your own responses to villagers and have them respond in personality and have what you say affect the relationship ❤️ that would be amazing! If the relationship aspects could be more expanded on, it would be so appreciated by the community!

I personally have spent hours on my little farms in the original Stardew Valley, and now, they’ve all loaded over! I love that if you have old worlds on the other app it will save and download on this one! I wouldn’t say though that it should be for twelve and up, because it isn’t too bad (other than the bar, Sebastian’s depression, Shane’s alcohol use, some suicidal things from him too, so on). I would rate it “mature 10+” but at the same time, still keep your kids safe 🤣. The NPCs have good story lines and I love how at heart event you discover what they lived through before you were on the farm. Having kids probably made me happiest, as you get to see little toddlers tuning around the house. The features that lets you give them hats is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. You can take them off at anytime if you want to as well. Building your farm can be hard if you haven’t really planned it, but for a beginner, I would recommend that to plan something like this; An orchard there, animals there, crop field there, well there, so on so forth. This has become WAY too long, and I hope this review encourages others to play this and get started on their own virtual farm life! ✨The end✨ PS: if you are reading this, you CAN get multiplayer in the original app on mobile, but search up “ Konami Code SDV” on YouTube and you’ll find one of the shorts and it will tell you how to get multiplayer 😊

The overall game is nice and runs smoothly on an iPad. However, there are multiple bugs that have remained unresolved for years. One of the major issues is with the sewing machine. After triggering Emily’s sewing machine cutscene (so this is not the issue), the machine doesn’t work properly. I searched online for help, and many other people have experienced the same issue, yet it still hasn’t been fixed.

Late game is very tedious and boring because of only tapping option for harvest. You guys should consider fast harvest on iOS from hundreds of kegs, or produce, etc. instead of tapping one by one. Just like pc holding right click. Why cant we hold finger down or swipe on kegs for harvesting/refiling?

But when will you update it again it’s been a year :( and 1.6 came out would love it to be up to date

I’ve played many hours of this game on Xbox and thoroughly enjoyed it. On that platform, I’ve run into very few problems. That is not the case on iOS at all. Day 1 on the farm, during the tutorial, messages walking me through how to plant seeds start popping up. When it gets to the one that says to plant some seeds in the ground, it will not go away no matter how many seeds I plant. The message covers the inventory bar and makes the menu and quest buttons disappear. I can’t do anything in the home farm area because of this. Also, I’ve already run into numerous times in only 15 minutes of play time where tapping on things simply doesn’t work. I have to sit there and tap dozens of times and just wait for it to decide to work (this happened with the gift mayor Lewis leaves in the house). As much as I like the original game, this iOS version was so horribly executed I can’t even play through a full in-game day. It’s unfortunate they were too greedy to actually wait to release the mobile game until it was fully ready and consistent in quality with the PC/console versions. Uninstalled.

Every time I try to process geodes my game crashes on both iOS (iPhone 14 pro running latest OS update) and iPadOS (iPad pro 12.9, also running latest update). I was really excited about mining and having geodes processed but upon checking Reddit it appears this has been an issue in the iOS version of the game for the past 74 days at least, so I’m not holding my breath for there to be an update and I’ll just sell my unprocessed Geode so it stops taking up space in my inventory. It’s also frustrating because the first time it happened, I had already watered all of my crops and attended to other chores before going to have the geode processed, so all of my progress from that day was gone. Outside of this the game is great, especially once I figured out I could connect my Xbox controller via Bluetooth. I’ll gladly update my review to 5 stars once the geode issue is resolved.

I can play this game for hours. Absolutely love it. It’s such an amazing way to de-stress after work. The story is so fun, gameplay is relaxing and super accessible for folks who may not be big gamers and/or just want to play for fun without a huge challenge. Anyway, I’ve been playing on my iPad most recently & am on the last day of summer in year 3. I’ve completed more challenges and found so many more locations and little surprises than I have in previous plays, but the game has started crashing every 10 minutes or so. The screen goes mostly black with a tan rectangle where the item menu typically is. I have to close out of the app entirely to fix, and lose all progress for the day I’m on. Upon reloading, I start at the beginning of that day, not where I left off. Super frustrating to have to redo the same day Groundhog Day-style multiple times an hour. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app with no luck. I even checked to see if I could transfer this save file to the regular version of Stardew (not Apple Arcade), and it looks like this is not possible. Please please fix whatever bug is causing the game to crash.

I absolutely love this game, but I would read it higher. If it had multiple player the reason I downloaded this game is because I thought it was multiplayer and I could play with my brother and sister that don’t really know how to play games and so I could teach them, but when I realized I didn’t want it I still played the game. The game is amazing and everything just the multiple player. We need multiple player because it is unfair that people on computers or Nintendo switches can play on multiple players some of us can’t afford computers or Nintendo switches or stuff like that so please make it to where we could play multiple player that would be amazing Edit: it would be great if we got multiple player before April 2025

Half of the time “Saving…” never completes and I lose my progress. In the first *hour* of playing, that happened multiple times. This alone motivates my 1-star review. But while I’m here: For such an extraordinarily popular game, it’s amazing how poor the quality-of-life is. The controls are horrible. Just getting your character to go where you want is super aggravating. The pathfinding is surprisingly bad. *Super* basic operations aren’t covered in a tutorial and are non-obvious how to accomplish. Such as fishing (one of the main parts of the game) and eating. Sometimes quests will disappear from your list with no warning. 10 minutes of in-game time pass every 7 seconds. (This game is supposed to be relaxing??) For a 2D game with simple graphics, it uses entirely too much battery. Maybe the secret to having fun with this game is to play it on a PC or a Mac and use a ton of mods?

The whole game is very much cool & for a quarter price heck ya! But their a big BUT in the case the whole game is good but recently not to long ago I was playing and it kept crashing my game which was odd I am not sure if because it’s Apple Arcade it has to be a good connection to the wifi to be able to play or something I don’t know, crashes are very frequently like.. way to much they happen every time you have been in the game for like 20 mins & anything you have done in that time.. well it goes away like nothing happened that day over all it’s so good everything else is good just that the crashes need to be fixed ASAP! & as well as the black smith shop also having crashes every time you get in their also sound playing like if you were still out side instead of inside :\

Either we need a save button that works so we can save progress without having to go home and sleep. Especially with all the bugs and glitches. It’s a lot of fun and I’m glad it made it to the iPad, but every time I go to have my geodes cracked it crashes the game. Kicks me all the way out. Then I lose ALL progress and activity from between the last sleep-save and when I went to the blacksmith. I can deal with stuck sounds and holding things over my head indefinitely, but losing progress and loot because a base activity crashes the game is horrible. Please give us the ability to save at will since we all know that bug fixes will be an ongoing process for quite a while.

I love this game so much and was excited to see they had it on Apple. The problem is that it crashes 8 times out of 10 when I open the crafting menu or the map. This makes it so frustrating when you have to restart an entire day in the middle of the mines. Causing you to loose all of your progress. I had to REPLAY through the SAME day 3 times and it would continue to crash until I gave up on that last time until the next day. I tried to see if maybe it was a personal device problem but I’ve noticed this also happens on my IPhone and not only my IPad. The game would be smooth if this glitch and crash wasn’t a problem.

The gamepad support is functionally non-existent, except for controlling directions. I also have this game on GOG, but playing it on iOS and bringing my xbox controller and iPad would make it a lot more portable than schlepping my ATX tower around with me when I travel. All of the gamepad controls on pc work great, but it’s abysmal in iOS. The Slingshot rapid fires and wastes all your ammo, and you can’t move while using it. Switching between 3 rows of items in your backpack is impossible, you have to scroll left to right forever to get where you need to be. I’m just left disappointed here. If the gamepad controls were mappable or at least defaulted to what they are on PC, this would instantly be 5 stars.

The game is very fun and the time flies while I’m playing it. I think the difficulty of it is just right. I never feel overwhelmed by the tasks or objectives. The issue is the bugs. - One of the most common that I experience is not being able to go to bed at night. This usually happens if the cat is sleeping on the bed. I have found that I basically need to beat the cat to bed. But that basically means ending the day at 6PM. - A less common bug that I have encountered is simply not being able to shop at and store. I click on the arrow at the store and nothing happens. When this bug happens I cannot buy or sell for that day until I go to bed and the next day starts. - A bug that has happened to me in the mines a few times is that the screen seems too freeze during an encounter. The issue is with the game though as I am still able to zoom in and out in-game. I just cannot select anything. There are many more bugs but most are one offs or not game breaking. But the ones listed above really affect the gameplay.

I will rate this game a three star because I play this all the time on my Xbox. However whenever I try and launch a new game the game will say loading then just crash. Please fix this and I will rate 5 Stars because this game is so fun and is I would be able to play it whenever I am in the car unlike an Xbox. I would recommend playing this game and see if you have the same problem. This is a really fun game and I enjoy it. The pixelated screen is honestly my favorite part besides the colors. The gameplay is so smooth on my Xbox so I hope it will be smooth on this. Overall I recommend getting this game because for me I could play this all day!

Please please please fix the museum rearrange option! The inventory screen blocks the left half of the bottom shelf making it impossible to change the arrangement of the item placed there, even after changing settings. It’s way too large and there’s no way to zoom in or out due to the size of the museum side scrolling function. I really want to rearrange some items but it’s literally impossible due to the isn’t inventory screen blocking everything :( no settings can fix this in the options menu. The inventory screen should only be there when you’re donating an item, not when you click the rearrange function next to Gunther. Please fix this!

The game is a lot of fun to play on my tiny iPhone screen. I’d love to be able to play the game via Apple Arcade on my Intel Mac. Which would be clearly powerful enough if the steam version works on it. Please consider adding the Intel Mac. Thanks.

Payed for a game that crashes on you at random times and another issue that realllly REALLLY!! Needs to be fixed is it needs an autosave feature for when that happens cause thats bullcrap and such a waste of money im playin on the newest iphone out rn im chapped! Deffs going back to terraria!!

I was very excited to try this game as it’s been recommended by multiple friends. Unfortunately the game screen runs off the edge of my phone screen and, in my opinion, makes it unplayable. Maybe if I knew the controls better because I had played on another device it would have helped, but having never played before I found this too difficult to push through.

I guess it has been a known issue on the message boards for five years, but when you reach the bottom of the skull cavern the game freezes if you have the joystick and button configuration on. I just completed skull cavern without using stairs, only to learn that this bug still exists. It took me hours. I was so elated to finally have accomplished this after so much work. But when Qi tells you to drink the milk, you can’t move. According to the boards, the only way to get through that scene is to turn the joystick off before you enter floor 100. This is a five star game the minute this bug is fixed.

No game time, the time in the game goes by too fast. It can be 6:30 am and then a few minutes go by and it’s night time. You can also be full energy and doing something and they will force sleep if it’s “too late” making me loose items, money, and the want to try and do anything.

Absolutely love it but, there’s a bug that’s very annoying. Every time I try to interact with my kids I pick up a piece of furniture. Please fix, very annoying. Also sometimes the game won’t save. Don’t know if it’s my device or the game, but it’ll say “saving” and I’ll wait forever then have to close the app and open it again and lose my day progress. Also with Stardew update 1.6 I can’t even open my saves. Please fix

While most gameplay transfers over to mobile great. however it’s very difficult to lock onto the water when fishing on the docks—you just walk around or swing at the floor, the bottom row of museum artifacts is completely uneditable due to being outside of bounds, and the dog will sleep and stand in front of entryways & exits causing the player to become stuck

I absolutely love this game but unfortunately am stuck on day 34 of winter in year 4??? Because I have spent so much time on this game I’m so disappointed that for some reason it won’t roll over to spring and I am unsure on how to fix it :( I play on mobile and haven’t been able to find any help tips. I really don’t want to start a new save. Please help!!!!

The game is usually really good, but sometimes the screen randomly turns black. All I can see is my toolbar and my health and energy. Pls fix this bug!!

I just started the game and I was very excited to play it on Iphone, but from the start it was lagging so bad… the “cursor” that would show me things would just move in the middle of the screen and would stay glitched there… and the tasks that pop up on the bottom would make it impossible to select my tools…

I can’t get through a day without a crash and all progress lost, one crash happens trying to process geodes with the blacksmith. Others just from navigating the menu.

After playing hours, I was just about to start fall of year 1. However when going to bed it would get stuck on the ‘saving screen’, from my quick google search, this is a common issue. I wish I could still play, but you just lose all your game progress from that day and can not advance.
