The little competitions and new game themes every couple days are cool! My favorite one is the balloon rise challeneges! I will say the card one with the red gown lady her sound affects are a little on the weird side but still a fun game nonetheless! I love that you offer different types of package deals for energy and diamonds with multiple of them in stock so im not left high and dry in the middle of a competition🤣! I do wish though that there were ways to buy or earn coins outside of the orders, like how if you run out of energy you can watch an ad and get 25?! Also, it would be cool that if after the base 100 energy mark is met,it will still keep charging up but instead of 1 energy every 2 minutes it can be a little longer or maybe 2 energy every 2 minutes? Idk soemthing like that! All in all I have had this game since august or september but I didnt really pay much attention to it until December and its like the song you skip on your playlist but when you actually play it its absolutely amazing and you wonder why you didn’t entertain it sooner! Annoying bugs (update) improved!I am happy that the customer support seems to have taken action on my complaints and my suggestion to look into issues with playing this game on the ipad! There have been some significant improvement. Less forced exiting of the game and the ads are no longer broken so I can get rewards and energy from them. The game is now playable! Only took one day which is great because I was going to just delete the game seeing as it wasn’t working for me. I am glad I didn’t have to, as aside from the glitches and what not, its quite a fun game. I added the two stars for the promptness and significance of improvement. Hoping they keep coming so I can add more. Thanks team! Nearly The Perfect Merge GameI really enjoy playing Tasty Travels. I haven’t spent a dime, and I can end up playing for hours because of the multitude of bonus games to earn extra energy and gems to trade in. The board itself doesn’t get cluttered with spawners because after every few levels they’re deactivated. Also unlike a lot of merge games, the spawners don’t go dead after just a couple of uses and when it does go down it’s only a few seconds or minutes rather than hours. There are NO annoying ads disrupting game play period! The graphics are great and I appreciate the represented diversity. With all that being said, my only critique is the lack of an interactive element. When you earn coins you’re simply building up various structures and it’s on to the next rather there being a business to custom decorate, an island mystery to solve, or a freezing family to save. This missing piece makes it difficult to maintain interest if you’re not purely about just wanting to level up and want something to entertain you on the ride. Completely obsessedI absolutely love this game, it’s kinda addictive, but super fun. I wake up & play it, play all thru out the day in my free time & before bed. It’s my #1 favorite merge game, actually my favorite game period. I’ve tried sooo many other merge games, most get deleted or played while I’m waiting on my energy to refill in tasty travels..Ngl. I love the game, I’d recommend to anyone, but it can get a little pricey if you choose to buy extra energy/gems. I kinda wish there were more ways to earn gems & energy would refill faster. There’s been times I’ve spent $50+ & not even received all the stuff or I’ve been charged double which can be frustrating. The pricing of buying upgrades for buildings gets to huge amounts the farther you get into the game & when you do finally get upgraded to another level the reward is very low after spending hundred of thousands for the upgrades. I hate that boxes of energy cost 48 gems & then you barely get enough energy for 100 or even 40 gems for 100…I love the cards/albums, it gives you tons of chances to get gems/energy/buildingStuff. If you can compete all albums then you get a huge reward. I always get down to 1/2 cards missing out of all the albums & it kills me lol. I hate missing out on the huge reward over 1/2 missing cards. I’d love it if they made shiny joker cards a lil easier to get & more than once..The game has some cons, but the pros out weigh the cons. It keeps me busy. I absolutely love the game. Very fun, but irritatingThe game itself is very fun, addictive, and enjoyable. However, the energy aspect gets extremely annoying. The energy restoration maxes out at 100, which isn’t nearly enough to make any real progress or even complete the small orders, which COULD get you more energy… if you could actually complete them. The only way to restore your energy (aside from the small droppings that only give you 1-4 most of the time…) is to spend real life money. I understand energy being important in games like this, but the amount of usage is absurd. It wouldn’t be as irritating if there were other ways to earn energy instead of orders or events (because the events ALSO use up energy…) maybe if the energy restoration didn’t max out, or at least didn’t ONLY max out at 100, or maybe there could be free to play mini games where you could earn your energy back while it also slowly restores itself. Actually FunMost merge games I’ve played have gotten boring or repetitive after a few weeks. I can say that this came has kept my attention for well over a month. With the different drinks, foods and accessories to combine gives this game more variety than most. While offering different mini games and the ability to expand your map, it’s almost impossible to get tired of this game. It’s a nice way to pass the time when you have nothing else to do, or just wanna complete some orders. I’ve found myself playing this game more than any other game I have downloaded. My only complaint is how much energy they give you, 100 is given but you can earn more in various ways. I wish they gave you at least 200 because sometimes 100 doesn’t last as long as needed! That’s not really a complaint though, it goes to show just how enjoyable the game really is. Very entertaining, but…The game is very entertaining. I’ve been playing it almost every day because it helps me relax with my anxiety. My only problems with the game is how little energy you get daily compared to what the challenges require. It’s nearly impossible to complete all challenges with 100 energy even if you earn more (like 10-20 per challenge) and almost always requires you to spend gems or real money to get more. It’s fun while it lasts (like 10 mins). Another inconvenience is how the item boxes always give you items for the order that gives the least amount of coins or sometimes specifically completes orders that only give construction workers and honestly that’s uncool because it does not help with the challenges. More addictive than I planned…This game was much more addictive than I originally thought it would be, and I have already spent more time and money on this game than I should, but I really have enjoyed it. If you like Travel Town and similar games, it does give off similar vibes, but I think it is a little higher quality/even better than that (and I am speaking from the perspective of someone who has positive things to say in regards to Travel Town—meaning if you enjoyed Travel Town, you should enjoy this…and you should enjoy this even more so. The Game Is Not As AdvertisdI’m giving a five star review for visibility. The advertisement I got for this app showed a game where you aim and slide different sized tropical drinks across a counter to try to merge them together into bigger drinks, which I really liked, so I downloaded the app. However, that’s not what the gameplay of this app is like at all. I’ve been playing for a few days now, and from what I’ve seen, it’s just a regular merging game where you drag items together on a board, so if you’re looking for the drink sliding game from the ad, don’t bother downloading the app. I was really disappointed because I enjoyed the game in the playable ad, but oh well. Personally it’s not that bad if you ask meI was trying out some other merge games before I came across this one, and I feel like I eventually gravitated to playing this one. Fun game but…This is a fun game but I feel like they rip you off. First, 100 energies should not cost you 50 diamonds maybe 20 diamonds. But even then, when you’re using 100 energies on a particular item to make other items, whatever goal item your trying to make by merging items becomes almost impossible because the game runner makes it to where you only get maybe 10 of the items you need while generating 90 of the same items you don’t need. Now how is that fair. So by the time you reach your goal you’ve used 500 energies and 200 diamonds on one goal while still needing meet several other goals. It’s annoying. It should be a bit more balanced or equal in the items that are spun instead of the game runners rigging the game so that the items you don’t need are produced 90% more than the items you need. If you’re not careful, you could end up spending more money than any person should spend on a game and that is their objective. Be fair to your players. Rigged but slightly addictingIt’s really frustrating because I would love to love this game. Usually the spawners in this game will give out 2 items and it’s like a 70/30% ratio of getting one or the other. But i find that when I need the item that should be there 70% of the time, all of a sudden I’m spawning the 30% item A LOT more. I think the algorithm is definitely rigged so that it will spawn useless items you don’t need specifically when you need the other item from that spawner. This game will have you wasting all of your energy which is hard to come by. This has happened many times. There is not enough opportunity to get gems to buy energy. You have to keep buying more gems to continuously play or hop off the game for a day. Starts well Then just soooo boringI got the one with the drinks merge. I have yet to find that game anywhere in this one. Still I faithfully played. The first few days were fun. Then started the purchase ads. Bombarded with purchase ads. When you get to higher levers the only way to get out of purgatory is to buy. I refuse. 5 Star for AttentionThis is a fun game but NOT AT ALL AS ADVERTISED. The advertisement is for a fun looking sliding cocktail match game. The actual game is completely different. It’s a tap type match game. No sliding anything. Not many cocktails. A huge disappointment!!! I’m sick of games doing false advertising like and this. Tasty Travels is VERY addicting and the only game I’ve ever spent too much money on to play. Love but gets boring, needs updateI’ve been playing this game for months. I love it but as I’ve gotten to higher levels, it’s getting impossible to accomplish much because each item requires SO many merges to complete and you only are given 100 energy a day. And no, I am not spending real money to buy energy on this game. In this game, the most valuable item is energy, you generate energy mainly by matching items which combine to new items. These items are then purchased by game characters. You can earn a lot of coins, but you cannot purchase energy with coins. You purchase energy with gems or watching ads. But with each purchase, the cost in gems doubles for no reason other than to drive you to spend actually cash for gems and energy. And, you are only allowed 3 ads per day. The only way to enjoy this game without wasting money is to play until you run out of energy, quit. FeedbackI would like to give feedback for new features that would drastically improve this game but I don’t see a feedback option anywhere so writing in a review. 1. Make the scissors able to merge to keep in 1 item with a count of how many you have, just like the max level treasure box. Scissors take up too much space that it is not even fun getting them. 2. PLEASE make the candy party have new generator options. Other merge apps rotate the generator options and it makes it much more fun than those same 3 that I am sick of (no offense). 3. Good, but could be betterI recently started playing this game to earn fetch points. I find it mostly enjoyable, but there is definitely room for improvement. For instance, I’ve found that it isn’t worth it to participate in the timed events that encourage you to race other players by completing orders faster. There’s no sliding things down a track to merge them which was the whole reason I got the game. Actually fun, seldom tediousThe problem with most merge games is that they just get boring after a minute, especially with how tedious it can be to get some items. I’ve played a few here and there and I almost always stall out at a point because the game wants too much without giving enough energy to get there in a reasonable time. OK gameGame is ok. It would better if the spawners were obviously rigged to NOT give you items you need to advance. When one of the secondary or tertiary items is needed to fill an order, especially late game, you can burn through literally 1000 energy and not get a single thing to merge to build it. When you don’t need them, they spawn at an unrealistic rate. Anyone who knows anything about probability and programming knows this only happens intentionally. Then if you spend money the odds are magically adjusted. I’m honestly not mad at it because it’s a business at the end of the day, but the devs could make it far less obvious they are screwing you over. Very addictingI love this game so much! Originally I found another game that was very similar, but it was really difficult to make progress in without spending money on. To keep myself from spending money I downloaded tasty travels while I waited for energy. Well after playing for a day or two I’m completely addicted. Addicting!!This game has struck the perfect balance. Gems are abundant enough to earn without too much trouble, but valuable enough to spend and want to earn more. Fun but glitchy spawns, poor rewardsIt’s a fun, mindless game. My only complaint is some of the items never EVER appear! I cannot for the life of me get some of the horseshoes or the obsidian stuff. It shouldn’t take 100+ spawns to get 1 thing (that you still need to merge larger.. soooo, it actually takes probably over 1000 spawns to get your necessary item. Would’ve Been 5 Stars, But..The brass tacks? I love this game. It’s been developed perfectly to be addictive, and the gameplay manages to be immersive and engaging enough to keep the player wanting more. The reason I’m rating it only three stars, is because despite the (yes, I’m aware how cringy and stupid it is) now hundreds of dollars I’ve spent topping up my energy and gems, the very last card that completes the season, remains unattainable. From a responsible adult with a full time job, it’s ridiculous that I’ve even spent the amount of money on this game that I have…yet even more ridiculous that the gameplay clearly blocks the player from completing the overall monthly challenge. The egg is on my own face for spending money I’ve earned on a mobile game, and I acknowledge that. That said, if the devs thought beyond their player’s impulse buying, they would realize cheating players that paid out of pocket for the ‘ultimate’ prize, isn’t helping their cause. I have no desire to spend any more money on this game, knowing the end of season prize is unattainable. In game pop upsThe game itself is fun. but the amount of in game pop ups and redirections to in-game mini play is extremely annoying. You can’t opt out of it until you go through the mini tutorial which is pointless as it’s the same idea as every other event. I just want to play the game without having to close a dozen or more pop ups. Getting expensive nowI do love this game and have been playing for over a year and I have made many in game purchases. It seems that it is getting way more expensive and for what you pay it is not a lot that you get. I no longer make purchases and to get to the next level is very difficult takes forever if you don’t do the purchases so I think this game has run its course for me. Tasty Travels: Merge Game Negative Reviews

Was the best, they just keep changing it for the worseI wrote a review before talking about how this is the best merge game on the App Store. My list for top three went Tasty Travels, Flambé, Merge Cooking in that order. Since that review which was only a month or a couple months ago they just keep making changes to the app for no reason. I can’t figure out the purpose because every change has made the game slower, less intuitive, and just more difficult all around. They made ONE good change (they didn’t used to give you daily rewards the way the others do and they started which I really like) and the rest were all visual. They’re changing the graphics which makes everything more bulky and slows down your response time. (I am not slow in merge games, I use it almost like a fidget spinner when I’m doing other things and can’t concentrate on a game) They’re even starting to add those annoying graphics nobody likes that you can’t skip. They’re even starting simple act of merging an item takes more time now. Why? Watching the item drop from the generator takes more time now. Why? It doesn’t improve anything. Don’t Waste Your MoneyFirst, the advertisement shows something where you have merge the items by sending it down what looks like a bowling lane. But that’s not what the game looks like. It’s a square grid and you have to merge the like items together. That part really didn’t bother me too much. But it’s the point where you only get 100 energy and it’s not enough to get you where you need to be. You end up having to pay for more energy and it’s very easy to sync a lot of money into this game. Once you merge it stops you because you need more energy and to get more energy, you have to buy it because the side games do not provide enough energy and you have to use that same energy in the side games. The side games don’t give you much rewards. You feel like you’re in a constant state of “I need to spend money to get ahead”. But the higher up in the levels you go the harder it gets and the more money you’ll probably have to pump into the game. Also, it’s designed so that you have to put money into it constantly, and if you’re the type of person who says, “oh, I’ll continue with this game because I’ve put so much money into it so far” then that’s where they have you. Annoying and ridiculousNeed to fix it. To many glitches and the game keeps freezing and when’s it not doing that the app just keeps closing and crashing. Not what the ad shows at allI kept getting interactive ads for this while playing other games, and they let you play a bit of the game while the ad is playing. In the ad you slide pretty, tropical cocktails down a table and at the end of the table they merge together making bigger drinks. They’re colorful and the sounds of the glasses clinking together are really appealing. I downloaded the game because I liked playing this drink game. Unfortunately it has almost nothing to do with what the actual game is you download. The game you download has a layout that is another flat board full of icons that you match together (like candy crush or a thousand other ones). The cocktails game you can barely access, it’s basically a mini game within the game, but they barely let you play it. You get to play it longer on the ad than after you actually download the game. It’s like the developers were aware this game concept is more appealing and original than the merging icons on a board game, so they used it to create an ad… when they should have just made it the actual game with levels. Too much timeLike many others, I downloaded this game because I thought it was the merge/slide game from the ad. However, I decided to keep playing because I was bored. The game kept me entertained for a little while but now it’s just frustrating. Between cool down times and the sheer amount of energy used to get items it takes forever. Some of the spawners have special items that come out sporadically. They require merging to make the items needed but it’s few and far between. I currently need to make a statue from one of those spawners and it’s taken me 400+ energy so far and I STILL don’t have what I need to make it. Like all games, they are trying to force you to buy more energy but I’m not giving in because I know it’ll burn through that in 10 Seconds because of how seldomly the need items come out. Misleading advertisingI saw this game ad while playing June’s Journey. Normally, I wouldn’t waste my time trusting one id these ads. However, the ad was playable and really fun. Rigged and badly designedI’ve played this game a lot over the last couple months but there’s just too many issues at this point: 1) The game is obviously rigged. Items you need for quests won’t spawn often. Then, when you no longer need these items, they spawn constantly. This is likely done to keep you spending money on additional energy to keep playing. I’ve too noticed a many hot and cold streaks, where progression is either extremely fast or very slow. 2) There’s an overwhelming number of ads for micro transactions . I shouldn’t have to close 3 ads just to play the game when I open it. 3) After you hit level 50 or so, level progression becomes way too slow. This leads to stale gameplay and using the same item spawners for weeks. Also, single digit numbers of coins dropping is meaningless when upgrades cost 20-30K coins. This altogether reeks of amateur design and could be fixed or prevented, but they won’t, because doing so would make them less money. 4) Unnecessary UI changes. I don’t know why, but every update brings about some kind of random UI change. Whether it’s the change of a font or changing the energy color from yellow to blue. It’s meaningless and silly. 5) False advertising - Why are you previewing gameplay that is nonexistent in the actual game? The truth, because others lied in order to get free energy for the game.This is the most ridiculous game. At first it seems fun and then around level 9-10 you realize the game is a waste of time.
