Weird lack of heroesI rated this five stars, because the gameplay is really good! I really love the mechanics and art style of this game. But it kind of rubs me the wrong way that the only two high-level girl heroes you can have are both children, and it's way more difficult to level up the female characters? I've been trying to level up the girlies so I can have an all-girls team because I think that would be so cute, but it's proving difficult even using all my general shards to upgrade Ling Xue, Jessie, and Gina, because the game automatically gives you like way more shards for Charlie and Smith. The only girl who's in my top five, even after using all my upgrades on the girl characters, is Cloris, and it only feels like she's there because she's Bahiti's friend. Every archer girl is the same too, they're all "cold" and "the best most fearless hero". And it's really weird that there's not one character that's even a little tan. They're all stark white, except for two characters who are east asian with super light skin. It doesn't hurt the gameplay experience, but I feel like my efforts to make the hero team I want to play with completely don't matter. After you build most of the stuff in the game, it really comes down to exploration and going out into the world and fighting with your heroes. I really hope the developers do some balancing between the heroes so it gives players more of a choice, and maybe design some interesting new ones that don't mostly look the same!.RealRainbowFireVersion: 1.24.12

The Support Team Deserves Awards!The game itself is great. I’m a very casual player, so I enjoy doing the daily assignments more than anything else in the game, but this review is with regards to the support team and their chat feature. I had an issue with another player, and while I knew there wasn’t too much that could be done, I sort of just vented to the support team about how I felt about the situation. The person who responded to me in the support chat gave me one of the most kind, empathetic, and constructive messages I’ve ever received from anyone, let alone from a mobile game! They validated my feelings and expressed how they might go about fixing the situation in the future so the game interface and user experience would improve. I wish I could go into more detail, but I was so impressed with their response, I had to finally write a review here. It’s so rare to see genuine responses from support teams, but Whiteout Survival surpasses expectations. I’m so impressed I almost hope I run into another issue so I can talk to them again 😂 Absolutely great customer service. And for real, the game is lots of fun too - I’m just too casual to give valuable feedback on it other than: it has features of “castle building,” hunting/exploring, territory expansion (via guild or clan), arena (pvp), challenges and events, and chat features with built-in translation. You can play free, but like all things in life, if you want to be competitive, you’ll need to either invest time or money or both. Good game, but a few suggestionsI enjoy playing this game and I've been playing it for almost a year now, almost every single day of the last year in fact. I have spent a few hundred dollars on it and I think that if you want to grow in this game you definitely need to. But I think there should be a few things added that would help out a lot of free to play players and the whales as well. Firstly, there should be extra drill camp slots for each fire crystal level, it shouldn't cap at furnace 30. Secondly, I think there should be a way to trade/give resources to people in your alliance. Getting resources is very difficult sometimes especially when you're beginning fire crystal upgrades. Lastly, one thing id like to see is more stuff on the war academy. It stops at FC5 but you can level the war academy building to FC8, it just feels weird that there isn't more stuff after FC5. Suggestions would be just better boosts that the previous research gives you and maybe even a level 12 troop type, considering the war academy brought level 11 troops. Once again I think this is a great game I just feel there are a few things that could be easily added that would improve the quality of life aspects of the game and adding to the war academy is a definite way to make a lot of money, especially in my experience that several people in my state and the opposing state during our first state of power with the war academy maxed the entire tree during the prep phase. PLEASE READ !!This will be my first review ever. I intentionally came back to this app within the App Store solely to leave this review. I definitely enjoyed this game HOWEVER, I ended up spending ALOT of money on this game as well. This game is fun. You can advance in this game without spending money but it will take entirely too long! You’ll soon find yourself telling yourself “Oh $4.99 won’t hurt”. Then soon after, you’ll find yourself spending $20 here and $30 there. This game is VERY addictive. Idc how high you advance it just seems as though the upgrades never stop and you never max out. It wasn’t until another player from an enemy group tricked me in adding him into my group and promoting him to where he had the ability to kick members to where I had a wake up call. He kicked almost all of my members and caused a devastating blow to my group. Reduced the strength of my group drastically. He was still working with the enemy group the entire time LOL. Smart plan, definitely tricked me. Anyway, That is when I had my wake up call that I was spending entirely way too much money on this game. -1 star only for lyingThe game is not at all like the ads and photos. It’s unfortunate they falsely advertise because it’s a great game, I have been playing it daily for months. The lying is the only reason for 4 stars vs 5. The bait and switch did get me, so yeah, it works, but I won’t forget it. 😝 It’s a resource management game with strategy and some PVP. The game gives you notifications and you can click on things and that’s basically how I play. It is really satisfying to have everything fully clicked. Learning the game and the strategy is fun too. There are in-app purchases but they aren’t necessary at all. I’ve bought a couple because I wanted the buff and to support the devs since it’s a daily play for me. You earn gems quickly so you don’t have to buy them with real money. The reason I’m finally writing a review after months of playing is, devs, the random short tile event mini game is fantastic. I was going to pull up the name but it’s already ended 😭. If you made that a standalone game (with the same music), I’d play it daily. It’s the perfect level of challenging where you don’t have to start off at Level 1 - 50 at a child level. The first couple levels are easy and by Level 7ish there is more thought required. My honest review.The game is amazing yet it’s nothing like that ad it made me download it at first and i have been playing ever since. I very much enjoy this game but its more complex and more detailed in the actual game not the ad, in the ad we see that we go and get the people and the wood and it quickly upgrades the fire, but in the actual game its not like that we have to work our way through and upgrade and wait a while for it to finish. You have fun playing the game but You don’t really help around the village you start to make. All you do is get more and more people and they work for you, in the ad we see we do most the work but in the game that’s not what happens. Great game but they will try to get you to spend moneyI would have rated this 5 stars if it were not for the fact the game’s developers haven’t dealt in good faith, in my opinion. You earn higher VIP levels but in order to use the benefits on a temporary basis, you have to purchase packs (you can spend “gems”, which is a form of in-game currency but that is not a viable long term solution). You do what is required to reach a certain level but you only get some of the benefits for the first 24 hours for free. This, to me, is a bad faith move and leaves that metaphorical bad taste. If you earn something, you should be able to reap the benefits. I understand they have to make money but one doesn’t “bait” you with an apparent reward only to find out you can only receive the reward as long as you pay up on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, which is a switch on their part, in my opinion. My issue is they were not open and transparent about this at the beginning by informing you will have to pay them in order to enjoy something you have otherwise earned. I asked them how do I unlock all the benefits on a permanent basis but all they replied is to read the directions in the VIP section but there is nothing in there that says you can permanently unlock all the benefits on a permanent basis. Great game but needs some workHello Developers, the game is pretty fun, I like how there are different missions, and how it feels like I’m running my own town. I would have loved given this game 5 stars if not for one thing, the lack of representation. While the game itself is really fun I couldn’t help but notice as a person of color myself the lack of diversity. For example while looking for avatars for my chief I’ve noticed that there were no characters that seemed “African American.” I’m not trying to say that’s all I care about or make everything about “race.” I know that this game is pretty new and there will probably be multiple opportunities for the game to advance and create more characters with a plethora of diversities. The stories are phenomenal though and I love how immersive the experience is with each level there’s a new stage. I also like how you actually make the characters that you (the player) are in charge of have their own personality. I just find it hard to really connect and commit myself to the game due to the lack of diversity unfortunately. I will definitely still play the game and try my best to level up and enjoy other aspects. I hope my review will be a big push to try to diversify the characters. NOTHING like the ad!! Why??I have no idea why this game would make basically a whole different game to “play” while you “watch” an in game ad for something free in whatever game you’re playing. I had a little fun killing the polar bears and collecting the meat and yada yada, so I finally downloaded it to give it a shot, and it’s basically just a city building management game that guides you along, and never do you EVER get to actually walk around killing polar bears or anything at all for that matter. For people who enjoy city management games, they may like this one, but I had to uninstall due to the fact my entire relationship with this game was built on a LIE. Long time playerI’ve been playing this game since at least July 2023, almost everyday. It’s a fun game but don’t get it mistaken it, it’s a play to win game. There’s no way to advance in a way that you could beat other players without buying into events and other “booster” packs that give you resources. While there’s not forcing you to buy anything…. If you don’t you’ll be extremely slow to grow and fall behind. The next thing is that the false advertising of what this game is, is out of control. It’s obvious that the ads they put out are nothing like the game and to skirt this; recently they’ve started making those ads into mini events or games in the main game so they can refute the “false advertising” claim but it’s still flimsy at best. A lot of this game is grayish from pay to win, to the advertising issues, to clan issues within the game where your forced into submission by factions that give no quarter ruining the experience for no payer players. The game itself is fun enough but I think most of us are just bought in enough money and time wise that it doesn’t make sense to leave but without paying more are kinda stuck lower in the game. Amazing Game, But Could Be More Free-to-Play FriendlyI’ve been playing Whiteout Survival for over a year now, and I absolutely love it! The game has a great balance of strategy, survival mechanics, and team collaboration. Nothing like the ads, which should be updated. The events are creative and engaging, especially the new Christmas Festival and Jolly Marble event. I really enjoy the plinko-style game—it’s a unique touch that makes the holiday season feel even more festive! That said, I wish there were more ways for free-to-play players to fully participate in events without feeling the need to purchase items. I’m someone who occasionally spends on things I really want, but I also appreciate when games cater to players who can’t or don’t want to spend money. Great gameIve been playing this game for around 8 months (Since february) and its totally lived up it the hype. Its great, from the graphics, events, customer service and gameplay! Its also super F2P! The events are always a great chance to have fun and get cool rewards without waiting for troops to train or buildings to be built. The gem deals are super affordable (even as someone whos spent $0). Events like Canyon Clash and Frostfire Mine are super fun (Foundry NOT included). Pets, and Experts were also a great edition to the game giving more gameplay aspects which made it really engaging. Customer Support is really polite, fast, and it seems like its an actual human responding which makes it 10x better compared to an AI. Even for people who are not as far into the game, there are events and things where they can catch up with the rest of people which makes the game fair (recruitment office/FC levels). Overall, this game is great! If you do play it, be chill! Have fun! Chat with others! My advice is to keep going with it and just SAVE SAVE SAVE your stuff. Great gameI have two players… one that I pay to play big and one to grow without pay… you do not need to pay to play. That’s one of my favorite things about the game. A lot depends on your states set up and the people playing in each server. I would highly recommend this game to anyone. I got my husband hooked. Yes, levels begin to take more time but every person goes through it and it’s easy to collect things without spending a dime. If you play you should definitely be in discord for tips. I never had discord before this game but the complexity makes it a must. The characters are fun and the play is very customizable. It’s not an idle game… if you have 5 minutes to spare in a day to play it might not be for you. It’s as addictive as WOW so be prepared. Also, it’s pretty. It’s fun to a degreeWhile the ad I first saw that convinced me to download is nothing like the actual gameplay, I still rather enjoy the game and have been playing for about a month and a half. I’m not as motivated to put as much effort into it lately since I’m free to play and it can be a bit tedious having to save up so many resources that takes forever to collect to upgrade major buildings — which also takes a long time to upgrade when you get to a certain point. You can definitely get left in the dust by other players who spend a good chunk of money. While I’m not saying it’s pay to win, it is definitely not as fun/satisfying when it takes forever to level up and gain more power. After a month and a half I’m only at 15M and F25 while most friends/allies are 20M+ and F27+. I will add at the end that I do not like the Brothers in Arms event that tends to pop up every other week, which basically rewards PVP, even if your state agreed on a TOP 10 alliances. Good but it takes time.Don’t listen to any other reviews they ended up into the wrong state go to state #3788 and you'll be with people that will respect you no matter who you are. Those are old reviews and I know they're going to be kids that want to get on this game and parents that are going to see those other reviews and think oh my gosh, those people are horrible so trust me they just ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Go to that state and just take a couple of time and you know, yes this is one of those games. It’s just gonna take a little bit give it about a month and you’ll be pretty high up. Some suggestionsOverall the game is great, there are a few things that would make it better ( my opinion only) 1. Make the shields stackable, example: you buy multiple shields, you can add each one to increase the amount of time your shield stays up ( you buy 6 8hr shields, you get 48 hours of shield protection). 2. Make resource sharing amongst the alliance a thing, many struggle with resources because many are in a state that has a lot of paying players and they attack the lower cities for their resources. 3. Make your ability to get better gear easier, I play for free, and it’s almost impossible to get any orange gear, I understand the objective to get “money” but just because you can afford to pay to play shouldn’t exclude those who can’t/don’t we should have the ability to obtain the same gear. 4. Not like the commercials, but still goodIt’s very much like guns of glory or some other game like that. In my state we have come up with rules that keep people from becoming bullies from those who are pay-to-win and free-to-play. You get plenty of rss so no need to attack other people for them. The side event such as foundry battles even as a job for every level of player. If you do bully other players in your state it will make your state week and every 2 weeks you will have to challenge another state. If your state is weak then you WILL lose. Due to the lack of bullying from the pay-to-win this is the first time I’ve ever paid to play, but not to get stronger, just because I like the cute skins on my castle. Personally I don’t attack anyone unless it’s a kill every and in our state #2024 we can’t hit a castle in an alliance if it is already burning. Attacks on rss is just fine and encouraged. As your alliance gets stronger you can join a group that makes up the rules and be apart of the “knights of the round table” also you can’t attack alliance structure during kill event. Good place to hide your troops. If you are creative you will find ways to enjoy the game no matter your level and they are always coming out with new stuff the longer that you play. A lot of people have many accounts in other states as well as the one that I am in. I have only been playing for 2 months and I am already almost to lv 26. Not badThe game is a entertaining level up type of game, it’s pretty good, the one thing you would notice is that it is not like the ads you might see about it, collecting meat or other materials, although it is similar it’s not as shown. I guess the developers saw this and compensated because it does have a solid story and have characters around it that make it interesting to play. It has different activities to do around while leveling up. If it could be more complex with the story behind its characters or more unique elements and characters I feel like it would’ve been a five star and if the ads did in fact play like the actual game. Also I think that if this game was horizontal we would have more space for the buttons and it wouldn’t look as cramped in the screen. Just look at how CoC did it. You are not Allowed to Have a LifeI have worked really hard building my city, checking in with the game multiple times a day, PAYING with in game currency to start my own alliance just to have it stolen from me with no help from the developers. I had life happen to me like all people do and within 5 days (less than a full week) my alliance was transferred from me to a lesser member due to “inactivity”. This is complete trash and I never would’ve started playing this game again nor would I have payed to start an alliance had u been told this could happen. The developers/support team have been unresponsive and when they do this to you they don’t even refund the currency you initially paid to start the alliance. They asked me to send them proof of what happened and they haven’t said anything since I sent it to them. I want my alliance back immediately. Apparently, you aren’t allowed to have a bad week, a hard time at work, or enjoy the Christmas holiday with your family. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. They only want your time and money and don’t care about your in game experience. They are now advertising in game about being an influencer for them. Well, I’m going to work to become a de-influencer regarding this game. I’m going to make sure as many people as possible DON’T download this game. What a total slap and spit in the face. Unbalanced and fake advertisingThe game is just another pay to win. Unless you’re willing to invest well over a couple 100 dollars weekly, don’t expect to keep up with other people. The same winners will always be winning the same events, 2 of the hero’s are behind a pay wall, and can’t be maxed unless you spend over $300 just for the character. That is not including the VIP points needed to unlock otherwise you will wait months (not an exaggeration) for the hero’s Natalia and Jeronimo,. They also have a buff that only those two have compared to the other hero’s, giving people who invest a small fortune an advantage. They are possible to unlock free ( if you can win events) however Pay to Win will always be at the top of the score boards locking out everyone else. The current state/server I am in is a little over 2 months old and the top 3 players are over 150 million power while the free to win player is averaging 30-40 million power. Games not worth it unless you are willing to spend $1000 a month. I’ve seen 2 different advertisements for the game and neither of them are close to actual game play. Giving players a fake idea of how the game really is. This is just another predatory game developed to over charge players, and take advantage of most people financially wanting to win. A truly honest review about a fun game that only big spenders can playIt’s a good way to kill time, but unless you are willing to drop major money, don’t bother. It always ends the same. People pay thousands of dollars to be the most powerful, and then they dictate how everyone is able to play. Sure you can do your own thing, but they will wipe out weeks of work in minutes. All building upgrades, troop training, resource gathering etc all take forever in real time, unless you pay for speed ups, or use your gems. You can get free speed ups from joining rally’s to defeat beasts, but they don’t add up to much. It’s really frustrating to have three top alliances dictating who gets to do what for all the events, and unless you are in a top ten alliance, you won’t get to participate. It’s not fair for the free to play people, and all it does is kill the state. I have a chief across multiple states trying to find a good place, but they are all the same. They might not start that way, but the power goes to their heads and it literally becomes their way or the highway. It’s a fun game, and I understand that the developers are only trying to make money, but come on. There is no skill involved in the game, it’s all about who spends the most money. That’s it. Nothing can be done about it. The developers should make some states just for the free to play people, and let the whales destroy each other. LOVE THE GAME HATE SUPPORT!!This game is a great game don’t get me wrong I have 3 accounts and working on adding another. But the support system is absolutely trash and will give u run arounds. I have put in $3,000 into this game in one account and here what happened… They send out a main in game stating they r having double purchase issues. Didn’t happen to me, didn’t look into it to much. Then I made a $9.99 purchase that didn’t go threw on the game for my items but did take the money out of my account and paid them. Being that I had not had any issues with support prior (all having nothing to do with money) and they was helpful I repurchased, it again took the money and then that time gave me my items. I reached out expecting it to go smoothly and boy was I wrong… again I have $3,000 into this account and it’s a $9.99 issue. You can’t get a real person and the auto reply system gives u run arounds. If you do get a person and it has to due with giving u money or items u should have gotten.. HAHAHA!! What a joke, I’m still battling this weeks later and no closer to a solution. Forced mergers ruin everything you’ve worked forFrom a 5 star rating down to a 1. This game is now an absolute disaster now. Forget about the fact that they show you a game in the ads that has maybe 1% to do with the actual game you play. I, and many others in my state have sunk countless hours and real money into building alliances and, climbing ranks, and creating a strong community in my state. Then a forced state merger destroy everything. Territories are wiped, alliances reset, and we’re thrown into chaos with overpowered “whales” from other states dominating everything. It’s not “revitalizing” the game as the devs claim and I don’t care if it’s common practice for mobile strategy games; it’s a lazy fix for dying servers that screws over loyal players. The language barriers are infuriating with a merger. They merge English-speaking states with ones where no one speaks the same language, making communication nearly impossible. The in-game translator is garbage, mangling half the messages into nonsense, turning alliances into frustrating guesswork. Where’s the fairness or fun in that? It feels like Century Games doesn’t care about players, just our wallets before they pull the rug out. Addictive Pay to Play- don’t let them fool youAs with so many other games, this is a pay to play type game, although so much more brilliantly disguised than many others games. It starts so well and really hooks you in. The Alliance system works super well and it pulls you in deeper as you gain real friendships in your alliance/guild. Then you start fighting other alliances and other states…and it all changes. If you want to play decently…or be even remotely helpful to your friends and the alliance, or really if you just want to survive, you have to put in money. And just know, it is never enough money. It’s a rat race of who can spend the most money to be able to beat each other. And there are so many different things to upgrade and so many places to put in your money, and the more money you put in, the less it helps you, so you put in even more money to try and make a noticeable difference, but it’s all pointless because other people have put more money than you. And those people that spent more money are going to attack you to make sure you don’t become a threat, and those attack cost you a lot of money because if you don’t spend money to recover than all the previous money you put in was a waste. Misleading screenshots and adsThis is not the game in the ads. There’s no economy of gathering and selling resources or building out assembly lines like in the ads it screenshots here. It’s a strategy game where you build out your community of survivors by upgrading buildings that do all the work for you. There’s no gathering like in the ads. The micro transaction pushing is really intense and they give you a lot of free items to hook you in. The game is pretty decent aside from the micro transaction ads but it’s not the game I was looking for as advertised. I’m not this game’s target audience but I am for the fake game that was advertised. Frustrating that Apple lets this game remain listed with screenshots of effectively a different, unreleased game. Update: The developer replied suggesting the ads only show a small portion of the game but I honestly never experienced the gameplay in the ads even once despite playing long enough to level up my entire camp to level 11. I joined a faction, participated in cooperative gameplay, battled in exploration, always did tasks and bonuses as they popped up, and yet I never once got to a point where I would gather wood and harvest polar bears like a roadside business as depicted in the ads and screenshots. I must have sunk more than 20 hours into this so if the ads are truly accurate later in the game, it’s not worth the continued long community building slog just to get to the gameplay I was promised. Toxic peopleLoved the game until I joined an alliance and was doing actually pretty well and keeping up with it until I decided to go around a kill other (smaller) cities that were a bit away, and my alliance leader ends up messaging me “what r u doing!!!” And I was confused because I wasn’t sure if I did something wrong (turns out I attacked their city despite not being able to do that bc they’re in my alliance and a much higher lever so I’m not sure how I could’ve “attacked” them) anyway, before they told me I supposedly attacked them I asked if I did something wrong and they responded in a whiny tone saying “it doesn’t matter now, there’s no point” and so I said sorry and they answered with a simple “what” and I once again told them I wasn’t sure what I did wrong and then they stated that I attacked them and proceeded to call me a rude word that got censored, and I thought that just so out of pocket especially for a mobile game that I feel shouldn’t be taken THAT seriously, like it’s a lovely game and all and I enjoyed it up until that very moment, will be deleting my account and the game because I’d like to stay away from toxicity and people like that (shouldn’t even be happening it’s a mobile game). Deleting is a nightmareFun enough game but if you ever decide you don’t want to play anymore and you want to delete your account, they won’t unless you can provide the date you registered on the app and 7 or 8 other pieces of information. I don’t know when I registered on the app. Who keeps track of that. They also will not tell me when I registered on the app or the name of my device as they see it or any of the other extremely arbitrary random stuff that you have to provide. I cannot recommend this game less. Only download it if you’re willing to be tied to them forever. ETA now that the dev has responded: credential verification should be satisfied by me logging into my account on my phone like I did daily for however long I played this stupid game. Credential verification should not be my numerical location inside the game, the date I registered, the last date I signed in, the number of gems I currently have, the name of my device (is that iPhone? Is it iPhone (2)? Is it [my name’s] Phone? Who knows?), a “top-up order” (whatever the heck that is), and a reason for deletion, followed by a 15 business day wait for confirmation. Game allows severe behaviorI started playing this game back in December and while it was fun for a bit it has become obvious that the game creators do not care about the atmosphere in game. It is a war game so expect to be attacked and I am fine with that and do a little attacking myself. Recently my server had a lot of drama with two people entering alliances causing huge rifts then leaving taking as many people with them as possible. When I and 3 others called this behavior out in WC one of those two people declared we were lying and that he was going to run us off the server. He then proceeded to attack us outside Ke while we were offline hundreds of times each fully zeroing our accounts after the first 30-40 hits. He continues to attack most every day once again hundreds of times for each person, stating we are being forced off the server because of “our”drama. We all reported this to support and they refuse to police their game for bullying behavior saying we just need to shield. Now shielding isn’t really an option in this game as they have made their shields extremely expensive meaning that if you have to live under a bubble it’s going to cost you several hundred dollars simply to buy enough gems to shield (4800gems per 24 hour bubble, which is almost 5 times what it cost on Evony) preventing you from using gems for any other thing in the game. I will not be forced off any server because of one person who spent $50,000 on the game but unfortunately like all the other games that only want your money this game doesn’t care about maintaining a fun or fair environment. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!Simply sad, if you have money to throw out in the drain, this is a game for you. But, not as simply, be ready to spend enormous amount if you want to get items in this one. You can spend hundreds of dollars in an event to get a city skin, and you can finish among top 10 to get the skin when the event is done, but they add 24 hours on top of that, so people with extra cash can kind of bid to take the top 10 spots. Cash grab rife with rich kid bullies & pervsJust like user GaelGirl mentioned, I joined an alliance with an absent “leader” and got roped into doing most of the work with one or two other players. After weeks building up the alliance and my own city BY PLAYING THE GAME INSTEAD OF BUYING LOOT BOXES I was personally targeted and bullied by players from other alliances and ALL those hours of progress over the last few weeks was POOF! Gone. My city and its 100K troops I patiently and painstakingly built, destroyed in under five minutes. It would’ve taken weeks to get back what I lost, unless I bought the game’s very expensive loot boxes. Yeah, no thanks. I regret the $12 I suckered myself into spending on construction speed-ups at the beginning. Every single part of this game is a slog, and I’m proof that your patience and diligence ain’t worth it. A bunch of rich kids and skeevy adults can come in and buy their way through the entire game and destroy other folk’s hard work in the process. Seemed like a fun game but it’s PTP and very poor supportIf you ever need in game support don’t think there is any. You will get an automated reply and takes 2-3 days to get the initial reply. After they ask you what’s wrong it will take another 1-2 days for that reply and then they will ask you for more screen shots of the issue and make you wait another 1-2days I’m guessing. I’ve been waiting for a reply now for 7 days and still haven’t got a reply back after I sent more screenshots. I purchased items from a pack where you can select the bundle and I accidentally selected the wrong pack with half the items not usable because I already surpassed that level. The items purchased was also for an week long event to raise my rank up. But now it’s too late. The game it self was fun at first but after 3-4day of growing your city and troops you will realize this is a PTP game. The people who spend a lot will get ranked in the server events and get everything. And with out spending and speed ups you will eventually start seeing 1,2 weeks in constructing a building. WOS fraud charges - Warning -Is this happening to othersI do enjoy the game but… I got possible fraud alert from my financial institution…. I have no idea how WOS did this…. They charged my in game purchases to three separate financial institutions…. My iPhone and apple charges set up for PayPal (which is a pass thru and goes to my USAA checking acct/debt card) this is ok but how did the charge my USAA credit card and my Ameris Bank checking/debit card. WOS does not respond to my messages. And they won’t unlock my acct until I buy some more in game packs (this would mean re-linking to a financial institution). I have the 2 other financial institution acct listed in my iPhone but not directly attached to WOS those 2 accounts were the ones that were also charged. Did they put a Trojan horse and somehow get into my iPhone and get the other 2 accounts? I called Apple and all they see each just the WOS to PayPal and no other charges? Developers Are Not ResponsiveHello, I have been part of this community for over 6 months now. I have purchased in this game thousands of dollars to strengthen my chief and my city. During these past 3 months I have been accused of refunding packs which led the White Out Survival Team to BAN me from the game. In order for me to continue playing I would have to repurchase refund packs, but the thing is I did not refund anything. I would purchase these refund packs to continue playing, but then couple days after it would say that they detected more packs being refunded which led to me purchasing more then 5 times back to back. I called my Goldman Sachs bank, explained the situation, they reviewed my profile and concluded that I did not refund anything. They shockingly recommended me to refund all the purchases for this game because in their eyes it looks as if these game developers are stealing funds by claiming I am refunding their standard packs. They also told me to contact the App developers via email and using their website, however, after 2 weeks I have not received any response from them. Customer ServiceThis has to be one of the worst customer service experiences from a mobile game I’ve ever had (and I play other popular mobile games that have pretty bad CS). I have been back and forth trying to get them to unlink the account that was created on my phone from Game Center. I originally started playing on my iPad and assumed that when I downloaded it on my phone, it would pick up where I left off given that the iPad and phone share the same Game Center ID. Instead the phone is linked to GC and the real game is stuck under guest. So if I log into GC on the iPad it picks up the newly created game. They have asked so many questions. I’m not even sure how many ways I had to explain the above before they sent me a ridiculous form to complete. It shouldn’t be that complicated to understand “unlink this account so I can link the main game”. If I needed to complete the stupid form it should have been sent 2 days ago but instead Customer Service perpetuated this idle conversation aka nonsense. Furthermore, to delete the account entirely, you need to complete another form and wait 15 days! Not worth the timeThese adds for the game - makes this game look really fun and awesome to play, it’s a trap to get you into a false game where there’s no fast improvement unless you are spending your real cash. I thought I’d give this type of game a chance once I downloaded it and saw it was nothing like the adds for this game, I played for close to 8 months before I got burnt out on the game, and I don’t have any immediate plans on returning to this game. The map that I was set to start out on (you don’t have a choice of which map you start on) is one of the hardest maps (so I’ve been told by other players on the map). Customer serviceI have been playing this game since it came out and I loved it but recently I’ve had some serious issues. I decided to start fresh in a new state and since then I’ve had nothing but issues. I played the account for maybe a month and spent a lot of money just for it to be unlinked. I got locked out of it with no way of getting in without messaging support. It took them 24hrs to respond. They asked for so much info and when I got it all to them to get back in my account they still are unable to let me back in saying I didn’t give them the correct device I made the account in. I have no other device I’ve only ever used this phone even showed the receipts from things being purchased on this phone and it’s not enough. I’ve been locked out for a week now and feel defeated. Not as advertisedWe have all seen ads for this game. You have to help the poor frozen people and get them near a fire. Or you have to feed the people. Collect meat, cook it while they wait. This game is nothing like the ads. Have you played Star Trek timelines, where you build a space station build ships and attack other players to steal their resources? Or state of survival where you build a base, build troops and try to steal other players resources. Spoiler alert. In this game you will build a base, you will build troops and then other players will attack you for your resources. At no point are you going to do anything like the ads show. All these games that are like this always show ads that have nothing to do with their actual game. The game starts out with you building and gathering resources. Then there is an offer where you can get a starter pack for real money that gives you resources and speed ups in exchange for real money. And then after about lvl 5 the world map opens and shows you can attack and be attacked by other players. So you gather resources and try to build up. This game is a dysfunctional scamI was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of graphics when I actually downloaded the game because the advertisements are nothing like the game- in either game play or graphics. However that was the last pleasant surprise that I had, and have come to realize that this game is all flashy expensive graphics that you have to pay for if you want to play the game at all. Whomever spends the most money wins the game. It doesn’t matter about skill, strategy or teamwork. The only in game messaging system is a sick joke filled with privileged childish noise. Alliance leaders do not have a proper messaging system to their members or within the state. The only way an alliance can truly work together is if they use the Discord sever. The developers obviously anticipated this and do nothing to improve the in game messaging system. There are no gameplay monitors to make sure the rules are followed, so it’s a gamble that if you’re not a millionaire, you will lose, even if you’re playing on merit, the only merit is $, which makes the game quite boring and disappointing. I’ve seen players whom spent thousands just be crushed by those whom spent tens of thousands. Even a collectively wealthy alliance is no match for one player with a lot of money. This game is a very boring and very extreme version of Monopoly during the Climate Apocalypse which glorifies fossil fuels and survivalism. It even has a Coal Rainbow Warrior whom might as well be the QAnon Shaman. To move forward, becomes impossibleThe game is a lot of fun in the beginning, I’ve reached level 25, which made me wait 14 days in order to upgrade my furnace. To go to level 26 I have to upgrade other components that require me to wait 10 days and who knows how many days I’ll have to wait to upgrade the furnace to level 26. I’m thinking it will be another 10 to 15 days at the minimum . Why on earth would I do this? Absolutely crazy. I’m done with this game. p.s. I heard a response from the developer saying that there are other activities and ways to speed up the wait. All of this is true, however, I still have to question why 14 days of waiting. One cannot amass the amount of speed ups needed just to move up one level. And keep in mind, to move your furnace up one level means you have to upgrade two other building such as your embassy and infantry. Those come with their own wait times which at this level can be an additional 10 days on their own… totaling perhaps 22 days of just waiting to upgrade one level. Because every state involves users who started at the same time, it seems nice at first because everybody is a similar playing field. However, within a couple of weeks quickly stratifies. So if you value your money and don’t intend to spend wildly, try another game. ————————————————— Within 4 weeks if you are not sinking a few hundred dollars into the game, you will not be very relevant, and battles and events will basically only be competitive for those who _are_ paying hundreds of dollars. I’m not exaggerating, you can search forums if you don’t believe me. ————————————————————— Otherwise, gameplay mechanics are good enough, although it gets confusing pretty quickly with the insane variety of currencies that emerge after a few weeks. For non whales - There’s really not much to do other than train and stockpile your troops, increase strength, and then join rallies from your stronger alliance-mates. The game is addicting enough with red dots to steer your attention to the next mini-activity. But at the end of the day, any battle - facility or castle - is instantly over once one of the whales in the game comes for it. Strategy and tactics only get you so far, and if you’re not at least a modest whale, you’ll just be a joiner but seldom a player with impact. Data points: I’ve spent about $25 and logged in very frequently to keep activities going with minimal downtime, but am one of the weakest players in my top 3 alliance after 50 days. I didn’t realize when I downloaded out that it was a war game, but I figured it out pretty quickly. That’s fine, I found my own little space to play and just skipped the war part - except I would be just constantly harassed for not partaking in war events or even better - being harassed for not attacking the “right” way. I tried a couple different alliances and it was the same after awhile in all of them. They are super clique-y and there are people who are on a power trip (it’s just a game my dudes - calm yourself down). I didn’t join the game to make new friends. Im an adult and have all the friends in real life that I need. I just enjoying playing games in my down time to relax. After I confirmed with my bank that the purchases weren’t fraudulent, I went to play the game and found out that my account had been banned for “illegal refunds” or something like that. Customer service didn’t care at all, they were completely useless, and refused to restore my account or refund my money. Designed for you to throw hundreds even thousands of dollars to win…This game is really great. You and hundreds of other people essentially act as if you are countries at war with treaties and alliances, using politics in every situation. The perfect example of a strategy game.
