Prompt Pay always failsPart of the reason for getting a Thai bank account was for the convenience of using Prompt Pay. It worked fine for about the first 10 transactions. Now every time I go to use it, payment fails. I called 1333 as the failure msg instructed, and they created a support ticket, but no answers to the problem yet. Gradually improvingImprovements are gradually coming, but bill payments (a feature I would otherwise often use on my phone) are still rough around the edges: when making a payment, you can't select the payment date like you can on the web interface, so payments are sent immediately. Also, bill payments made on the phone don't appear in payment history on the web, they only appear in your transaction ledger as generic mobile banking charges that don't indicate who the payee was, so it's difficult to remember which bill you paid without looking back to iPhone app's history, and for a moment it can scare you that payments weren't made. Look at other bank options first - Conveniences Outweighed by InconveniencedThe hallmark of a good mobile app is to provide the utmost ease of use for the end user. Sadly I feel that this app has greatly diminished the user experience and usability by limiting the number of devices authorized for mobile use to one. I assume that means that a user with a phone and cell-enabled tablet would have to choose only one device to use and could not authorize both. In our case my wife and I both used to both access the mobile app linked to her account on our respective devices. Until today when my app wouldn’t allow me to use it any more. It’s her account but I handle the vast majority of our financial payments and transactions. The latest update introduces a “one device only” regulation in the name of security or to hamper fraud. In reality it adds another layer of difficulty for the user to access and use mobile banking. Many mobile apps have strong, multi-layered security and anti-fraud features while simultaneously giving the ability for authorizing multiple devices. It can and should be done. A company must find ways to continually increase user experience over time not take features away. The customer will likely look elsewhere to find what they need. We’re actually going yo have to go another route. We will soon have to anyway as my wife’s employer has decided to switch to another national bank as well..Review in BKKVersion: 3.24.0

Worst banking appI suggest you look for another Bank. you can only use one phone and one app cannot have it on anything else. Some of us do our business on other than a phone or possibly two phones. If it isn’t straightened up, I’ll be changing banks. Bank stated the reason they do that is because they have too many scams. USELESS FOR Foreigners - Link Rabbit Line PayI just recently noticed that there’s an option to link Rabbit Line Pay with BBL app, so I did try and do so but surprisingly, it’s giving me an error that the information I have on my Rabbit Line Pay Account is either incomplete or a foreign account! Of course, I am a foreigner and I did register using my Passport details, what can I do about it? I am using my Rabbit Line Pay account almost every day in purchasing my coffee, paying for my bills like AIS, MEA Bills, etc, and it’s working fine! But linking BBL to Rabbit LinePay? Worst banking app ever!To comment on this I have to date back for few years. They did not have an app before so they suggestion creating an icon for of bookmark their online banking site on homescreen which is not ideal. I dont know how they manage their database users but the pin is so messed up. Now I have to constantly need to go up to ATM because they stated that I have wrong pin?
