Absolutely incredible app.I’ve tried many, many budgeting apps & I can honestly say that this app provides the most insightful information, and in the most customizable and organized way. It’s incredibly user friendly, and works flawlessly. Giving this app 5 stars despite 1 small feature request I have. Often times, when I shop, I buy grocery, household essentials, snacks, etc. All of which I like to track separately. However, then inputting the transactions, you need to enter each one. So the amount for grocery, amount for supplies, amount for snacks, etc. are 3 separate entries. I think the app should allow you enter one single entry- for example a $100 store trip. Then upon clicking the entry, you can edit the amount you spent on different categories. Then those items can be added on just like any other expense on the pie chart, without needed so many entries. If I go to the store once, but bought 5 different category items, I’d much rather see one entry rather than 5. It looks cluttered & makes me subconsciously think I’m making 5 transactions. Small complaint though. This app is nearly perfect. I recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind taking the time to micromanage where every dollar goes..BadsplashVersion: 2.11.10

Great for the MoneyMoney Manager is a decent money and account tracking program for the money. The free version is limited but functional, but the purchase addition unlocks additional features and expands it’s capabilities. It was only $5.99. It’s a lot cheaper than Quicken, and the one-time purchase aspect of Money Manager makes it superior to Quicken in terms of cost. Quicken is much better in several areas but it is very expensive. Here are the two improvements that I think Money Manager should make: (1) Allow it to sync data between your PC, IPad and Smart Phone. Current it doesn’t do that and that surprised me when I made entries on my smart phone that did not sync over to my I-Pad. You have to choose one device to use. (2) Allow Split transactions for purchases so that one entry can have multiple categories of expenses. For example if you shop at Walmart and buy groceries, pet food, and health and beauty products on the same receipt you should be able to allocate dollar amounts for each category for the total purchase. Money Manager doesn’t do that (as far as I can tell). My final comment is that Money Manager isn’t intuitive and it takes a bit to get used to using it and understanding how to use it. Getting the program to load a backup file is very confusing because it never really gives you the upload option, it only uses the words to backup. Very confusing, but it works. Nice enough but…The app is nice enough kudos for what has been created. I know it’s a lot to design and implement an app that has the features it does have. Just a few missed features…shortcomings. 1. The app does not sync in the cloud from one device to another on my account (iPad <-> iPhone) I have to backup and then import to the devices. Boo. 2. On the transaction ledger screen you can’t sort the transactions by date visually, dated transactions are grouped together but only sorted visually in the calendar view not daily. You can’t even set it to sort ledger by date as a setting. Drives me crazy when I see the 02’s after 08’s date (the 2nd after the 8th). 3. Since they don’t have a Mac version (just web access) and you are limited what you can do from the Wi-Fi website, which they do eluded to, when u do turn on ‘Computer Manager’ (which is just web access from your device) you have to leave your device in the app settings page so you then you can not do anything from your device in that application while you have the computer Manager turned on. You have to quit. It’s easy enough to figure out how to use the app the Stats chart is nice and the ability to customize the accounts both expense and income but those simple features really need work. Also, the web version fields are cutoff and looks more like a poor Excel report version. Awesome!This is probably my favorite app on my phone. I love all of the graphs, budget, options, and the way it looks. It literally gives me everything I need and it breaks it down so well. I’ve tried multiple apps and this one by far was the best. If I had to pick one thing I would change, or add I should say, is adding the shareable feature. My wife would like to keep up with our expenses but there’s no way to sync an account to view it from multiple devices. I love the fact I don’t have to sync it to my bank account, but I would definitely be in favor of having to log into an account or having something to where you can sync it to another person or device. If I could have it to where I put the transactions in and it sync with my wife’s phone, it would be absolutely amazing! Great app, maybe a few suggestions for it to be better?Great app but I wish I could click and drag to re order transactions within a specific day so as to match my online bank account. As of now, I have to open each transaction, make a small change and re-save it so it is put at the top of the list. Would be much easier and fast if I could click and hold to drag into specific order. Please find a way to change the order of the transactions in a quick way. Also, it would be nice to be able to split a single transaction into more than one category. And is I possible for when you open to a specific account, that I goes directly to the current and present day? Last, I REALLY like being able to see future reoccurring transactions, so I can see where I will sit at the end of the month. Is there a way to have future reoccurring transactions visible for further out than one month at a time? Why am I still getting Ads?I paid for upgrade because i love the app. First of all, I love the app. I love the customization. Takes some practice but once you start tracking and customizing the overall picture of your financial situation becomes more clear. My gripe is i paid for the premium and ads still pop up, i have to watch for a whole minute right in the middle of me tracking and inputting data. This is very annoying and feels like i paid for nothing. Can you please tell me what i paid for if i still see ads? Change back to five stars. Unique and Functional App. Simply the bestI used to have 20+ apps available in the App Store, and one was related to the budget. This app is the best application that I have used thus far. The visuals, functionalities, and every single detail and possibilities are incredible. STILL NO SYNCING!!I am a fan of this app. It does almost everything I need it to do. But I’ve been waiting for FOUR YEARS for two features that I believe should be standard in an app of this type. 1. Split transactions - If you’re “really” budgeting this is a requirement. For example, if you shop at Costco you can buy toilet paper and hamburger. These are two different categories, Household & Groceries. This app STILL does not allow me to split a single transaction into two categories. I have to manually create two unique transactions to correctly budget these items. 2. Data Syncing - How is it in 2024, when your app’s been available for 5+ years, you STILL have no syncing whatsoever? I use this primarily on my iPad because of the larger interface. Thus I cannot use it on my iPhone because there is no data syncing across devices. To make things more frustrating, they’ve recently release a NEW app called CalcBox. Please finish developing ESSENTIAL functionality for your “flagship” app before spending time on secondary apps. Intuitive and it reflects how I think about money.Really intuitive app. I tried a lot of apps before and either I don’t like their subscription model, their app or how they think about the flow of money between accounts. This app really is as close to perfection as it can get for me. Really, really close!This app is very well thought through for the experience and things that matter. We use this app to keep personal expenses separated in otherwise a joint finances setup in our family. Works great. It’s mentioned in other reviews as well, the app really needs to auto-sync with an account or auto-sync data storage not locally but with iCloud. The value is INSANEI have never used a better expense tracker—period! I love personal data and being able to track my life through it, and this app is so much more than I expected for the price. English is not their native language based on the grammar of the Help screens and they are not the most receptive to suggestions but they are trying. Best One!I have been using on my iPad Pro. It is fantastic. However, the sync between iPad and iPhone using iCloud doesn’t happen properly. So it’s always different data on my phone than iPad. iPad is primary device for money manager.If phone issue gets resolved, I would be use with its full capacity. Very good app, The pc version could be better for the 5th starI bought the premium now to use the app from PC as well, and the pc version is very disappointing for me. The mobile app is very user friendly and simple to use. For me, I can't record the transaction until I keep the app open in phone. Also there are no suggestions for content while recording any entry. Currency Rates1. Currency rates are set in settings and they need to be changed each time a transaction is to be recorded. For example when a transfer is made from account of one currency to the other. Great app except for……currency formats. In French, all currency symbols go after the amount, and there should be a space between the number and the sign. The current app would show “US$ 2,49” every time the fx rates are refreshed whereas the correct form is “2,49 $ US”. Same goes with the CAD amounts: instead of “2 345$” it should be “2 345 $”. Good budget appI love this app for keeping track of my expense and budgeting, however, I like to use my iPad and phone to upload my expenses… I wish they would have an option for a multi-platform auto update for all my devices. Amazing thank youI am a daily user of this app. Paid once couple of years ago, stable support ever since, no in app purchases etc. So I am used to filling the expense nominal first before other details, and now they switch the form order so that nominal is on the top. I guess I was not the only one filling the form that way, and the developers really take these inputs into account. Thank you.
