Why does everything have to cost money? You guys advertise you want to help people eat better and help with there mental health with food but then when your done filling out all the questions you get 7 days free and then you have to pay to use it after? Why can’t we just have an app that actually helps like this one but maybe actually be free…. And help people eat better alternatives. I already deleted the app because I thought it was actually free and get to help myself learn which foods I need to eat in which foods I don’t. I already have bills up the wall and this would just be another bill just to live better, when it’s already hard to live in this world now days. Everything has to cost money bc money IS MORE IMPORTANT THEN HUMANITY..Maddie7568Version: 2.7.0
Good app just minor accuracy issuesI’ve been using this app for over a year now (paid version), so clearly I see the value in it. I genuinely like the concept and what it’s trying to do. It’s super helpful for making better choices and being more aware of what you’re putting in your body. That’s the reason I’ve stuck with it this long.
That said, there are a few things that need serious improvement.
First, accuracy. Some of the product ratings don’t seem reliable. I’ve come across items where the information feels off, and it makes it hard to fully trust the app. There needs to be better verification, whether that’s through a stronger AI system or more consistent database checks.
Second, the search feature is frustrating. I’ll type in a product and it doesn’t show up, but then I scan it and suddenly it’s there. That makes no sense. If the item exists in the system, it should show up when searched. This becomes a bigger issue when you don’t have access to the barcode and are relying on typing it in.
Lastly, inconsistency between similar products. I scanned the same brand and product (lemon juice), just different sizes, and got completely different ratings. The ingredients matched, so there’s no clear reason for the difference. That’s confusing and makes it hard to trust the scoring system.
Overall, I like the app and still use it, but if accuracy and consistency were improved, it would be way more reliable and worth the price..PrintkeoeosowodosxosoVersion: 3.6.0
Great but some issuesOk so this app is amazing! It very easily scans any product and pretty much breaks it down and easy to read and understand. If you bump into a product that has no data, the app will tell you to take a picture of the front of it and ingredients and add it to the database! So why no 5 stars? I gave it 4 stars because the app has one major issue, there are several items that are the same item but have different scores. For example Sparkling Ice has 3 different scores where it’s a 0, 24, and 100. The apps doesn’t tell you if the differences in the score is due to different flavor or a different type of category like water vs lemonade. Another example would be Zevia soda. When I scan it the app tells me it’s a 63 but the alternative the app gives me is a 100 and the two products are the same. Other than that the app is amazing!.Frank275Version: 1.2.7
MUST HAVE IN A TOXIC WORLD!I’ve been using the Olive app to scan food products, and it’s honestly eye-opening. You just scan a barcode and it quickly breaks down ingredients, showing what’s potentially toxic or problematic and what’s actually clean. It’s helped me realize how many “healthy-looking” foods still contain additives, seed oils, or questionable ingredients.
I love that it takes the guesswork out of grocery shopping and makes ingredient labels easy to understand—especially when shopping for kids or trying to support gut health. I’ve already swapped several pantry staples for better alternatives because of this app.
If you care about what’s in your food and don’t want to stand in the aisle Googling every ingredient, Olive is 100% worth it..BriellechristinaVersion: 1.7.6
Cannot Do Swipe So I Can Get An Account!I downloaded this app from my Apple Store, and it says on the opening page to swipe to the right to get it to open, but no matter how I swipe, real fast press down real hard, and then swipe hard or swipe normally nor any other means of swiping, can I get this lousy app to ever open! I need a workaround so I can get this app to open if I am ever going to use it!
Go ahead and cancel what I wrote above here because while the swipe arrow was pointed to the right, I discovered by accident that it actually wanted me to swipe to the left! So now I am in there, and I have set up the basic application so everything is good so far!.Iggabri9463Version: 1.1.8
Cool but not great, yetWhile I think this app is really cool, there are still improvements that could be made and I don’t think it is quite ready to pay for what they are charging. Simple improvements would be, for example, adding shellfish to the list of allergens. More significant to keeping this from being great is the alternative suggestions. Let’s take mayonnaise for example. I scan ours and it scored very low, so, I scroll down to look at alternatives. It was recommended things like tomato sauce, honey, and pure maple syrup. In my world- these are absolutely NOT equivalent products or equal alternatives. This is just an example; other products had unreasonable alternatives as well. Again- the overall concept is great, but this still needs a lot of work before it is worth the price they set for the full app..Moggy MamaVersion: 2.4.1
MUST HAVE for anyone who takes their health seriouslyThis is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’ve been reading everywhere about how harmful seed oils and different additives can be but it’s impossible to tell when I’m shopping at the grocery store for my kids or looking for a place to eat out. I want to make sure my kids grow up eating clean foods so that they practice healthy habits and are informed about the ways that additives can be so detrimental to their health. With Olive handy, I can finally go grocery shopping without worrying about what these massive food production companies are trying to hide from consumers.Sacha-PVersion: 1.1.4
Satisfied CustomerThe app is great! It truly helps you understand the food you’re consuming and what we are lead to believe as healthy. There were only a couple items that were not found in the food catalog at Costco. Food from Trader Joes was listed in the app upon scanning too! We had a customer service issue and it eventually got to the founder and he was prompt and kind in his response. I would only caution you to be mindful of the subscription automatically renewing but that has no premise on the functionality of the app itself..LuckypolarbearVersion: 3.9.0
As an AuDHD mom this is so helpful!!!My son and I have health issues that require us to avoid certain ingredients (artificial dyes, milk, gluten). As a mom I am also trying to make better choices for our family as a whole. The Olive app has been a lifesaver for me when shopping! It quickly and easily lets me see which products to avoid. I love that it keeps a history of items I’ve scanned as well, so I can look back and remember how the items scored. THANK YOU for making my mom life (with neurodivergence and health issues) a little easier!.Jessy W76Version: 2.24.0
Please add an option for wheat allergiesI’m leaving this four stars for now, because I do really like the app and the concept overall. But I cannot give it any higher than four stars, because it doesn’t have a wheat allergy SPECIFIC option. A gluten-free diet IS NOT the same as a wheat-free diet. One product that comes to mind is King Arthur’s gluten-free bread flour. It is gluten-free friendly, but because they use gluten-free wheat starch, it is absolutely not allergy friendly.
Given that wheat has been a Top 8 allergen for decades at this point, it’s disheartening to see an app like this, with an otherwise semi-decent amount of allergen options, not include it..Sierra M. ReviewsVersion: 2.8.1
A wonderful company.I tried olive on a free trial for a week and although I loved it, I just couldn’t justify the price for a year subscription at this time (you know, everything is so expensive right now). I went to cancel but apple had already signed me up for the full year and refused to refund me. I reached out to Olive and Chance was SO kind and refunded me even when they didn’t have to. I absolutely loved the app and the customer service and quality will absolutely bring me back when I’m financially able to do so..ChelsnicVersion: 1.8.7
Working on itThis is my second review now that I’ve paid for the app and been on it for a month. They are working on making it easier to change product mistakes (which there are many), but the process is way too long. I’ll upload the correct product photo for the item or ingredients, but it just sits on the upload page for over 20 minutes with no progress. It’s not worth the time to try and help get the correct information out there. Maybe they need more people on the team so pictures process faster than the AI takes. Overall okay app, but could be better in many ways..KaifenfenVersion: 2.24.0
Great app, wish the lower price e could be made monthly thoughI LOVE this app however I wish there was an option to pay the 5.08$ monthly after the free trial instead one lump sum I get why it’s set up that way but as a single mom that’s just not possible for me.
I have learned so much from using this app and while most of the things I buy are great, there were many things I was surprised it said to avoid. I try to get as clean as possible and with this app it takes the guess work out of it..Camping Queen 24Version: 2.13.2
Peace of MindMy daughter has a severe egg allergy, and reading ingredient labels in a busy store can get overwhelming. olive makes it sooo much easier. i just scan the product and immediately know if it’s safe or not.
i also love that it flags things like seed oils and other additives without being confusing. it’s quick, clear, and actually helpful in real life. i use it almost every grocery trip now and feel way more confident about what i’m buying for my family. definitely worth it!.Cammmmmy7Version: 1.7.4
The Best Health App!I’ve been using the Olive app for a while now, and it seriously makes grocery shopping so much easier. I love that I can just scan something and instantly see what’s actually in it, not just the calories, but ingredients, additives, and how clean it is overall.
It’s super helpful if you’re trying to eat more intentionally or avoid certain things like seed oils or artificial stuff. I also like that you can customize it based on your preferences!.Laur-432Version: 1.1.2
I’m a Health coach and I love this app and recommend it to my clientsI’ve been using Olive for a while now, and I can honestly say the app is amazing. I try to eat as healthy as possible to balance my hormones and support my acne-prone skin, so having an app that helps me choose the best options for my health, without spending hours in the grocery store… is a game changer. I also love that Olive includes lab tests and doesn’t just tell you what’s not good for you, but actually explains why..CarolbpjamesVersion: 1.7.4
Changed our lifeI started using the olive app to make better choices for the food I was buying for my family. I knew that the foods we were eating were not the best options, but I wasn’t sure how to figure out better alternatives. I came across Olive and it’s been life changing for our family. I’m able to shop in confidence for items that I know will be good for me and my family..MorgE2018Version: 2.24.0

LOVEI love this app! It makes it so easy to find the healthiest options for me and my family. It makes grocery trips a lot faster for me than reading ingredients :).Laura loves to readVersion: 2.24.0
Life-changing for people with allergiesI don’t have a family, this is just for me, and Olive has been a huge help. My allergies really limit what I can eat, and sometimes I have no choice but to turn to processed foods. Olive makes it so much easier to find options that are safe. The restaurant listings are also super helpful, especially for avoiding seed oils and sneaky soy. I finally feel like I have control over what’s in my diet. Thanks Olive..Kylene-1Version: 1.1.2

It makes grocery shopping so much easier, faster, and more intentional. I seriously don’t shop without it anymore..Chelsea.MontVersion: 2.24.0
It’s okayI love the app besides the fact that it logs me out every single time I close the app. I have to retype my login and password every time and it gets annoying especially if I have to do it while shopping. I also paid for the year subscription but my app seems to think I’m still on the “free” trial (ended 2 weeks ago) which is confusing and Apple tells me my registration isnt complete. I’ve tried to fix it but nothing is working.
I also wish it flagged artificial dyes because we avoid them in our household.KaleyH96Version: 1.2.7
Highly recommend! 🤩I absolutely love this app! I’ve used a few different food/product scanner apps and I’ve been so pleased with how Olive rates based on seed oils, additives, processing and chemicals. I highly recommend this app over any of the others I’ve used. As something who prioritizes her health and east cleaning, Olive takes the guesswork out of it so I can feel confident in my selections and what I put in my body..Benny ChaseVersion: 2.24.0
Lack of productsSeems too new to be good. Everything I scan I get “help us grow out database”
Tried to get a refund for this reason but they have a no refund policy with Apple and no contact to reach out for support.

I haven’t had the chance to fully test it yet, but I’m really looking forward to comparing my Yuka results with Olive’s. I have high hopes that this will be a great tool.
For now, I’m giving it a 5-star review in appreciation of the work that’s already been done. I also hope the app includes products from Canada, Europe, and beyond, as we’re digital nomads..HellobbhhhVersion: 1.8.7

The paywall is frustrating, great app nonethelessIt’s impossible to exit the paywall, you *have to* put in your card info and sign up to the free trial to continue. There’s no exit button.
Other than that frustration, it’s great so far. The app doesn’t have some of the things I’ve searched up, I’m not sure if that’s because I’m in Canada. I’m curious to see which products they add overtime.
I also wonder how accessible the app will be after my free trial expires. The app is worth trying nonetheless. I like the interface and organization. It’s clean and easy to navigate..Fastra66itVersion: 2.0.0

Canadian supportIt’s been a really good app so far as I’ve come from Yuka and it’s been a way more informative than Yuka.
The only issue I have is the app is it only really orientated towards the USA, like I’m from Canada and I wish that there was more Canadian support. Like the map setting is really cool but it’s pretty much useless in Canada as it’s only populated for the USA, or how some foods I scan show some different ingredients in the American products versus the Canadian products, also product recommendations too as some products that are recommended are only in the states and not in Canada.
It’s a really great app other than that but just hope that the devs are able to add some more Canadian support..Melot9145Version: 3.8.7
Good but lacks informationI was using Yuka a bit, then searched for a different app to fully understand what was in my food. I do not consume seed oils or processed ingredients, so finding an app that worked was vital.
Olive is great in most cases, but the database is lacking when it comes to products in Canada. I scan something and there’s no data on the items, it seems to be increasing every time, it’s mildly disappointing cause I did pay 99 dollars for the years access and half of what I scan doesn’t provide information about the products. I manually have to take pictures of the front and back of most things and submit it, yet there’s no information returning back on the products.
PLEASE update this, people pay good money to know what’s in their food and I wanted this app to help me with food choices.
Canada needs this.🇨🇦.GiraffeInASpeedoVersion: 3.2.0

Olive - Holistic Food Scanner Negative Reviews
Not free. Wastes time to tell you $70 a yearUpdate: got a whole explanation from this owner justifying how they do things in order for me to change my review which I will not. If you want to charge this money, be up front and do not waste people’s time with over and over getting people to tell you how committed they are before telling the process and prices. They use same manipulation as any schemes with their way to try to buy in. I have no issues with paid services that are up front and honest. This will waste your time and hide their price or plan till the end and hence why that bad review.
Original Review: The app feels like a scheme selling you magic beans. Starts out will screen after screen to get you to buy in with showing you their reviews then asking over and over if your committed and how committed are you and if you say you’re not sure, it will tell you that this app might not be for you. Only way to proceed is to really convince the app that you are super committed. We all know those scheme videos that do that and you can’t find out why you’re getting till you’ve wasted your time.
So what you’re getting is $70 a year membership. To do a 7 day trial you still need to authorize payment after the trial. So not a real free trial. And any time I see such sales techniques instead of relying on their product to show people it’s worth it, I run far away.Vee535Version: 2.11.3
Your willing to pay 70$ a year to gain acsess to what we should already have for free?Just downloaded thinking this would be great because Yuka (5 stars I LOVE) only is for cosmetics…I sign up…and soon I figure out why this app charges, there is a 7 day trial, but it requires card information to even activate. After 7 days your card is automatically charged 69$ for a year plan. This app is a joke. It tries to hook you into a 90 day plan, has you go through customization for your healthy lifestyle..then at the end it says “oh actually..only 7 days are FREE..Oh and not to mention but…you must submit your card intro to even activate those 7 days…”COMPLETE JOKE OF AN APP. We need an app like Yuka, for food. I wouldn’t pay over 5$ a month to have access to information that tells me whether or not what I’m eating depicts my life. I am disappointed. This country is greedy and sad. This app emphasizes that. Not a healthy lifestyle. Half America is in poverty and this app presents itself as “good”??? Just to have you pay another yearly bill? I’m GOOD. This is for certain people..yk the ones who fling their money…the people who have that fund to use. A lot of people don’t. I think this app and company is greedy for charging so much. Terrible..Fartdelta420Version: 1.8.7
Seemed great at first!I really wanted to love this app. I liked it for the first 5-10 minutes of browsing through items in their pantry and then searching random foods that we have. But then I started noticing errors and contradictions. I searched for Coca Cola and it recommended Pepsi as a replacement saying it contained no additives and no corn (I have a mild corn allergy so it would flag items with corn syrup, corn starch, etc). Pepsi definitely has corn syrup and added sugars lol. There was also a bag of organic blue corn tortilla chips where they stated it doesn’t contain corn. On top of that, I couldn’t figure out how to use the restaurant map feature. It only showed one restaurant in my town (we have tons and a lot of nice ones, too) so I’m just not sure how to work the filters or what it’s supposed to show me? I would pay for the app if it didn’t have these issues, but there’s no point if you can’t trust the scoring..KjkayjayVersion: 1.1.20
UselessListen everyone, it's the same as Yuka but costs tons of money it's not worth of. I wanted to switch to it hoping for clear heavy metals analysis of the products but they only have those for up to 20 products at all, plus they don't mention the actual numbers.
Besides, the subscription system seems scammy but I haven't figured it out fully yet. They give you no choice but to agree to a payment after 7 days of free trial. I tried using the app immediately and realized it's no value to me and went to cancel the subscription. My iTunes acc shows I still have the subscription for a full month from now, which I assume I will be charged for even though I don't want to. I'll have to dispute it with my bank then!
The only positive side is relatively easy-to-use app and the ingredients analysis BUT only if Yuka had never been able to do the same for free..Valerie playsVersion: 2.23.1
Holistically pricey? So I decided to check out the app because I was curious after seeing some TikTok videos, but what annoys me is that it immediately tried to get me to do a free trial without a option to see a free version at all! I believe this app should be clearer on being a paid service, not making itself look like a free one.
I understand y’all work independently from companies, and you gotta make your buck somehow, but i’d rather deal with a version with ads then pay for a subscription! Also, with the whole ‘experience part’ at the start with the whole ‘clean girlie’ or ‘heath nut guy’ or whatever, that’s pretty dumb to me? Why not have sentences that describe experiences and not go to stereotypes? Why does gender matter when all we’re trying to do is cut out toxins out of our diet, to support long-term health? I know it’s likely a gimmick, but it’s utterly silly.

Another greed based serviceUpdate after developer response: I've noticed that many people feel the dame way as I do, and the business owner seems to not care to take any feedback, only justifying their need for payment. The funny thing is that the justification is bs. "We have to make it su subscription based to keep it ad free, no brand placements.... he lacks vision to make people happy. I guarantee most people would be happy to have ads and brand placements of GOOD brands if it meant getting a free (or cheaper) app like this to help people with their diet. Its just ridiculous the responses this company gives to all the negative reviews. And also, they lie about subscription being clearly stated at the beginning of the onboarding process. The app store says in app purchases, but many apps that say that at least have free capabilities, like yuka. Its a waste of time to get people in the flow and using cheap animations to try to win people over before telling them they have to pay. Good strategy for greedy folk...
Original review: Anyone else tired of every single app being a paid subscription? It makes me sick. I sat for 30 minutes answering personalized questions just to be ushered into a paywall. Of course they offer a free trial hoping that you forget about it when the real payment comes around. Why can't they make money through ads, or a single time payment. This world makes me sick, that the only way to be healthy is to go broke.
Additionally, they ask if you have dietary restrictions, and include only a basic list. As someone with crohn's, I really wish that one of these apps cared enough to include information on foods that affect more serious conditions like ibs, crohns, celiac, etc..BlobbledVersion: 2.23.1
ScammersI didn’t get as much use from this as I hoped. I tried it for a day on trial and realized it wasn’t for me. I forgot to cancel my trial and got charged. The exact moment I got the notification I was charged I went and canceled and asked for a refund (never used it anymore). They denied it and said it’s not eligible. Most apps are great at giving a refund over the last 5 years the few times I’ve had a child purchase something on accident or never received notification that my trial was ending (like I usually do but did not with this app). I feel like the company thrives on people being busy and forgetting to cancel the subscription and make it impossible to get your $75 back! As a mom with 5 kids and in this economy it’s disappointing to have $75 ripped away from me for something I didn’t use nor will I continue to use..Apes042089Version: 1.8.7
I scanned my pantry and lost the will to eatI downloaded Olive hoping it would make grocery shopping easier, but it honestly just stressed me out. It flagged almost everything in my pantry as unhealthy, even foods I thought were clean. Every scan comes with a long list of warnings about seed oils, microplastics, heavy metals, and more. It feels more like fear-based nutrition than helpful guidance.
The app is also kind of clunky. The scanner takes a while to work, and the alternatives it recommends are super specific and not things you can just grab at a normal grocery store. The restaurant map didn’t show many options near me, and a lot of the suggestions felt influencer-driven rather than practical.
Overall, it felt like more noise than value. I think reading ingredient labels yourself might honestly be less overwhelming than using this app..LowkeycriticalVersion: 1.2.1
App doesn’t offer what’s advertised and be careful with trial offersI have an app like this already. I downloaded this one because it boasted that it identified pesticides and toxic chemicals in breads and similar. I downloaded the app and created an account with a free trial and a one month subscription but I was charged. I suppose it doesn’t apply to shorter subscriptions. I wouldn’t have downloaded. This method is predatory and I hate when apps do this bait and switch bs. Plus! None of the breads scanned delineate the toxic ingredients. It only states that no info is available. I’m done with apps. Seems better to just do your own research. Yuka app costs something like $10 for the entire year and this app offers nothing different, if not less. Can we stop with the pricey app subscriptions? $15 a month? Really? No thanks..PinsalinaVersion: 3.2.0
TerribleI couldn’t make it past the screen that offers a “7 day free trial” there is no where to exit out of and if I pressed the button “I’ll decline my offer” it would just take me to another offer screen which I could not move past without signing up for a free trial which I am not willing to do, I would be signing up for a free trial and giving the company my credit card info for a service which I’m not even fully aware and comfortable with yet. Let the people see what they are signing up for before you get them to make a subscription which they will likely forget about and then lose their money 🤷♀️ seems like a great app, wish I could have tried it without having to sign up for a free trial when I don’t even fully know what I’m signing up for..ShandsomVersion: 1.8.7
Predatory trial. This company markets itself as caring and supportive, but my experience felt completely different. They offer an extremely short 3-day free trial that automatically turns into a paid subscription, which honestly feels very predatory. I did not intend to continue the subscription, yet I was still charged automatically.
To make things worse, because of the failed payment tied to the subscription, my Apple App Store account became restricted and I couldn’t download or update apps. That caused a huge inconvenience over something I never even meant to keep.
A company that truly cared about customers would make cancellations and refunds easier instead of relying on confusing auto-renewals and tiny trial windows. Very disappointing experience overall..Debr38Version: 3.8.7
Cherry pickingThe app claims to be science backed and cites multiple universities and research articles when you’re signing up. But when it comes to showing you the research for individual ingredients in products you scan or look up, it shows none. It uses buzz words and foods that have gained traction amongst the grifting wellness community to mislead people into thinking they’re making healthier choices. Their infatuation with seed oils is the epitome of this. All research shows that seed and plant-based oils are more heart-healthy than butter or tallow, yet they automatically ding anything with a seed oil but don’t do the same for anything with anything high in saturated fats. Huge disappointment; I’ll be sticking with Yuka since they actually back their ratings with research, not arbitrary buzz words and categories..RedditStocksVersion: 3.8.7
Making me pay for free trialThe app opens by praising itself for being more ethical than other apps and claims it doesn’t take money from companies to influence scores, which sounds great. But then you’re immediately forced into starting a “free trial” with no option to decline and just use the free version.
I don’t want a free trial. I don’t want to enter payment information knowing I’ll be charged in a week if I forget to cancel. Nobody wants that. If there is a free version, users should be able to access it without being forced into a trial first.
This feels misleading and frustrating, especially for an app that positions itself as transparent and consumer-friendly. A simple “continue with free version” option would make a huge difference..Go back please :)Version: 1.8.7
Blames food for autism??Listed three points when I first downloaded the app. The third being childhood cancer and autism are at a record high. I understand childhood cancer but autism is genetic and we are actually researching it now instead of just saying someone is different or ignoring it. Very ignorant for an app about food to bring up specifically autism when they could’ve said childhood obsesity which is a bigger problem than someone being neurodivergent. Loved the idea of being able to find clean food for myself and my family as I have a harder time digesting processed foods but this is a no for me. I’ll find another app that doesn’t act like someone thinking differently is a big enough issue they need to list it as a reason to have their app..PicklyicklyVersion: 1.1.2
Extensive onboarding, forced to free trialThe onboarding experience creates unnecessary friction for a product that’s supposed to offer a free trial. Even though billing runs through Apple subscriptions (so you’re not directly entering payment details), users still have to subscribe upfront before they’ve had a real chance to explore the product.
The predictable outcome is that many people — myself included — immediately cancel the subscription after signing up so they don’t risk being charged later. Once a user has already canceled, the likelihood of them returning to renew is much lower, which ultimately works against long-term adoption.
A better customer experience would allow users to try a limited version of the product first, demonstrate value quickly, and then ask for a subscription after they’ve decided it’s worth keeping. Strong products retain customers through value, not by creating cancellation risk or onboarding fatigue.
I wanted to like this product, but I already have a negative experience associated with it before I’ve even used the product..HaleymcclellanVersion: 2.8.1
Could’ve been goodI downloaded this app because I wanted to eat cleaner and had heard great things about Olive, but it just seems fishy and money hungry to me. I understand a subscription is needed for them to make money but it’s ridiculous to make someone go through the entire setup then, surprise! You have to pay! I’m sure I and others would love a free version, even if it had ads or limited features. I was also very disappointed that a majority of this app and website is ai generated. The pictures, blogs, and even responses to the reviews are clearly not human made. It just makes it all look cheap and lazy. And it is a bit contradictory to advertise healthy eating and clean water while actively destroying the planet; idk 🤦♀️.Christ=KingVersion: 2.0.0
Their business practice is forcedMost apps allow you to look around the app and see of you want to purchase it. Not this app not essentially makes you start the free trial and based on other reviews still charges you if you decide you don’t want it. I went through all the questions and it would not even let me look around to see if I even like the interface and feel of it. Basically if you don’t agree to a trial of it, you can’t do anything. The reviews are correct. Most developers want to make sure you’re happy before getting you into a subscription. This one just forces you into one. That tells me everything I need to know about the developers. Deleted!!.Victoria78*Version: 2.2.1
DO NOT USE THIS APPHorrible customer service, refused to give a refund for an accidental purchase. I live overseas and I wanted to try the app to see if it worked here. Quickly saw that it couldn’t. Went to cancel the free subscription and was a day late. (Since this promotes itself to moms you would think it would understand that as a busy mom of 7 during flu and Christmas season that I might have missed the deadline by one day). I explained the situation, they refused the refund twice. I find that any company that refuses to refund someone for a service that they cannot even use, especially during the Christmas season, doesn’t deserve any type of loyalty..PrltsVersion: 1.7.4
WorriedSo I just got the app and was looking for better alternatives for takis, and this app said the best alternative is Big Foot and the picture is literally just a fake blurry photo of “big foot” If I could put a photo here I would. it had a whole product description and olive was telling me what the ingredients are in big foot. To me this is totally ridiculous and just makes me question the integrity of the app. Please fix whatever ai you are using to source your information. One last thing it also would NOT let me report the product either no matter what I did…..Hxed uVersion: 2.22.0
Only use free versionApp itself is meh hard to scan things as it never actually scans or takes 5 minutes per item. I paid for the premium version which gave me an appointment with a health coach, took some time off work to be there and never received a call. Emailed.. no response.. I called the number that the call was supposed to come from just to hear “connecting you with a representative” then it disconnected. A few days later they try to sell me yet another course after ignoring me. Use but never purchase any special plans. Overall I’ve seen better apps and I’d recommend one of those instead..!.Lauren.!Version: 1.8.7
Of course you have to pay to see what’s actually safe to eat👎what a scamWas going to rate it 5 stars. I thought it was going to be an amazing app until it came to the part where it’s a “free” trial but you still have to enter your credit card info to even get the trial. but how awful is it to just want your family to eat healthier and be healthier because of how food is changing and on top of everyday costs, here’s another one! ridiculous how you have to pay to see which foods are safe for us to eat. it’s a real shame to take advantage of people like this when we all have enough problems! THIS ISNT HELPING‼️.Gabriella CorderVersion: 2.23.1
You have to pay for it, nothing is free anymore to help families who need it!I downloaded the app and entered everything that I felt would help my family and myself eat healthier and feel better. Then after entering it all the information that it was requesting, a subscription pops up for $60 a year?? I wasted my time. I cannot afford to add on another bill just try and help my family when I can just look up the ingredients.. don’t waste your money, good idea for the app but there’s other apps out there that are FREE and do the same things as this app offers. Nothing is free anymore it’s sad. Do NOT recommend..M$/(28’fVersion: 1.2.8
Quite a poor appOverall, not sufficient repertoire on the app itself. I bought as an alternative to Yuka but there is just not a good enough selection of products registered to it. And the option to register a product involved a lot of hassle.
Unfortunately I requested a refund and they denied it. So I would just save my money and not buy the app instead..PistasyVersion: 3.8.10
Pricey!🙊☹️Ok so I am not paying to be healthy! Weirdo.JRODKVersion: 3.8.7
Using its users to build a databaseHonestly the most genius idea for an app to suck money out of its users. You pay for an ai to tell you if ingredients are bad for not even though you can read these ingredients yourself to see if they are not good for you. The app isn’t even full of all food items yet due to the creators not even engaging with trying to build a database but instead having its users do it for them. Like come on guys the only reason I keep this app is cause it accidentally charged me for 1 year but I am so mad everytime I open up the app because of this I might as well delete it..Insta cleanerVersion: 3.8.7

Buyer BewareA lot of items scanned not in the data base, this app will be better over time with more user interaction but it is not there yet to actually be helpful to me. I tried the 7 day free trial & cancelled it before my card was charged, then received an email hours later informing me I was charged without consent, then contacted the company to resolve with no response so I will be filing fraud with my bank..Standard.AngelVersion: 3.2.0
IllegalI’m going to have this app removed because apps like these needs to be 100% free and if you can’t have this app for free then don’t force people to pay for it. I am taking this app to court and we’ll see if this app will get removed..LordJynxy1999Version: 2.24.0
Manque de soutienExpérience décevante. Mon abonnement annuel a été renouvelé après le 7 jours gratuits alors que je n’ai jamais réussi à me connecter ni à utiliser l’application.
