Azure Information Protection Negative Reviews and Ratings

Buggy

AIP was not available as an option in the iOS mail client to open encrypted messages. Had to delete and reinstall. Not working to open encrypted PPTX files.

WperfectVersion: 2.0.9
Terrible user experience. Does not work.

Even from the iOS Outlook app, clicking on the encrypted email file just brings you to a link to download the app. THERE IS NO WAY TO OPEN IT. AIP app has no way to navigate to a downloaded file. Outlook does not have option to select app to open file. Share option from Outlook allow save to local or One Drive, but not ability to select an app. Simply now way to open an encrypted email at all.

JpiterakVersion: 2.1.1
IOS “share to” no longer available

AIP Viewer no longer available as a “share via” option in the iOS mail client. It’s the only option to view encrypted emails. Also no longer viewable when I select “edit” to try to add to favorites. Deleting and reinstalling does not fix the issue.

Super man 55Version: 2.0.30
Don’t bother

Garbage app. It claims you can sign in and view a protected pdf from your email. On iOS there is no way to access the downloaded files for viewing. This app is a waste of time and space.

Doc TymesVersion: 2.1.2

Terrible app.

I would give this app a negative rating if it were possible. This is such a bad app, and I’m glad I’m not the only one who cannot stand it. 11/10 don’t recommend using this app!!!

NicknamealreadytakennnVersion: 2.0.53
Simply does not work

The app does not do what it says it will. For instance the app states you will be prompted to sign when opening a secure message. Not true, at least in my case.

Cant believe this is built by msft, i would rather believe it was outsourced. What's the point for using it? You have to sign in so many times, and then it tells you windows azure rms does not work! What? And saving only to my personal skydrive but asked me to use my organization account? What scenario are you targeting at?

OpaljacVersion: 1.0
