Highly configurable ambient sound generatorOf the many ambient apps out there, I keep coming back to this one. It is highly configurable. With volume controls for each sample, it's very easy to mix a wide variety of sounds to make a customized soundscape. The banner ads do not contain audio and don't hamper use on an iPad, but I found they were distractingly in the way on an iPhone. (There is an option to remove them for $1.99.) The rating now gets 10 Solid Stars. I wanted to share this information: I am broadcasting this application onto my flat panel tv ( not a smart tv ) a regular 37" LCD TV using the digital adapter provided by The Apple Store (HDMI cable connection). Wonderful BUT...I agree with everyone how stunning this app is. I bought it to aid in falling asleep which it worked wonders in doing so. The problem is the alarm app native to iPad will not override the sound of this app. The sound will stop in the app but you wont hear the sound of the alarm play. Great sounds, but silences my alarmThis has beautiful sounds (waterfall 3 is my favorite), and I would love to have it play all night, the only problem is that when I leave it playing, when my alarm is set to go off in the morning, it only shows the alarm on the screen without a sound.
