Excellent resume app with a great payment methodI loved this app. It was so easy to use, very user friendly and efficient. I was able to make a great resume in probably a quarter of the time that It normally would take. You have freedom to add and delete categories and sections as you see fit, and it also has options for distributing your resume. There are options for turning your cover letter on and off, using bullet points, etc. If you choose to email the resume, the email that is brought up even has a preloaded message for the hiring manager, if you choose to leave it. This app has tons of options to customize your resume, but they still made it very simple and quick to do, which is amazing. It's not over crowded with options that end up taking longer than just typing an actual resume. This app is thoughtful and well made, I will definitely be using it again. I also love the "honor system" method of payment. They took a risk but I have no doubt that it's paid off. So far so good.I'm printing mine right now. It was easy to use and sections were completely what was needed to show all areas of expertise. You can add sections or change them, make text larger and adjust margins. It also uses the honor system with payment and when I get the job I'll be sure to pay. Best part you pay what you feel they deserve so pay what you truly think they deserve. For me I'll be paying a decent amount that's for sure. Only thing is kind to see tho, is a function to have style templates. I've used another app in the last that allowed that and it was nice. Maybe an option to add some color as it helps your resume stand out from other people's (having to print on colored cardstock to try and stand out) but overall I got my whole resume updated in a total of 2 1/2 hours. Easy to UseI like this app for making resumes because it is easy to use. You just fill in the fields with the pertinent information. You can customize the fields. The best thing is that it does the formatting for you. While I can do that in other word processing apps, formatting on an iPad is a pain in the rear sometimes. The resumes aren't anything fancy but they do the trick. My only issue was on the template I used (administrative assistant), either the whole resume used bullets or no bullets at all. The slider for it was in the first set of fields but apparently it controlled the bullets for the whole resume. However, I didn't really need the bullets, so I just turned them off and the resume still looks fine. I've only tried that template so I can't say how the others worked. Well Made and EfficientIt's exactly what it says on the tin. Not only is it free, it doesn't have the clutter of ads. You only pay if you find the app useful. I most certainly found it useful. It was well designed. I had no trouble navigating the menus. The app itself as well as the resume it creates has a very clean and efficient appeal. It has useful tips and options as well as a simplicity that helped me stay on track and complete the resume with minimal fuss. I didn't have to worry about font types or whether or not a was forgetting something. It was all right at my finger tips. I most certainly recommend this app. Only reason I won't give it five stars is because I didn't see any options to change the formatting (besides text and margin size). It's a game changer!I don't really use my PC much and have aways wanted to create my resume on my iPad or phone. This app works perfectly. It makes creating clean, concise resumes a breeze. I love how I don't need to format pragraphs and spacing like in a word document, and because it saves the resume as a pdf I don't have to worry about formatting being lost when opened by a different version of the employer's word processing software. I have this app on two of my devices. I completed my resume entirely on my iPad, and it was easy. I completed another resume on my phone. Amazingly easy and user-friendly. Easy to use and straight forward.This is probably one of the easiest resume builders I've come across! It is extremely efficient and lays out each section for you. Once you've finished your work, you have multiple options to distribute your resume as well. They've made it easy to export through other apps, as well as a built in email for immediate results. I think the greatest impression I have with this app is the open payment concept. They don't charge up front, and simply ask that if you are able to secure an interview using this application that you come back and pay afterwards. I respect and appreciate that so much! Life Saver!!I came across some hardships recently and I didn't have a updated resume. I had no money to spend and a job fair to go to the next day. Awesome!This app is amazing! It made building my resume very easy. I will definitely be paying for it once I land a job and get that sweet paycheck. My only critiques are with formatting and each section. I wish I could customize the bullets a bit more, as I wanted to break up the bullets with a subject line. It would be helpful if there was an information tab to explain each section of the resume and more examples of what to put there. But other than those two things the app was absolutely perfect! Hands down, the very best resume tool ever!!!!After hours of hammering out my 20ish years of my work history into, what certainly appeared to be, a free resume build tool that was full of features just to discover I had to pay $50+ just to KEEP ALL THAT INFO!!!! I was fed up. I went back to the "old fashioned" way, Microsoft Word. Found out that I don't have Word, so I used Google Docs. Only thing I would like to see a change is for there to be more font options and ability to change the spacing between the main title and bullet points (the space indentation between Major and the bullet points under Education section is just a bit too much, for example) so that the completed resume looks more cohesive depending on the amount of text/content. Iphone6+ user lost.. until now!!!!!I had been skeptical on which of the million apps to use. This one doesn't have border colors or fancy squiggly lines. It just works. Most useful resume app!!!I've tried multiple apps to create my resume and the most frustrating part is beginning each section; but they start you with an example. Amazing App!!This app is absolutely amazing to use. The examples provided give an excellent resource base to see how to structure your resume depending on different cases, and all the formatting is done automatically and looks beautiful! Using this app, I created a resume and applied for a job. The team called me in to interview me, and during the interview, all three members of the team commented on how comprehensive and well-formatted my resume was. Unfortunately, I wasn’t awarded the position, but even though this resume didn’t succeed in helping me land the job, I still feel very strongly that the application deserved to receive a payment. The honour system is refreshing, and the value you get out of this app is absolutely worth the higher tier payment (I paid the $20). The only small thing about this app is that I found it crashed a few times while I was preparing my resume, so I had to keep re-launching. Waste of time and moneyI just spent my whole work break updating my resume. Then I clicked ‘open in’ to save it and it wouldn’t work (this isn’t my first resume in this app). I tried over and over and waited and waited. So, I decided to delete the app and reinstall. There was a warning box that my data would disappear, but I deleted it and reinstalled, hoping it would still be there. But, sadly no. Apps malfunction all the time, and standard mo is to delete and reinstall. It seems like a paid app should have the ability to keep your data in such cases. Update - just redid my resume after said uninstall and reinstall. Still won’t save it, nor can I email it. I have now spent a lot of time writing a resume that I can’t access.
