Great game with annoying bugI am using the original iPhone X .. Not the Xs or Xs Max. I would love for this game to run to its smoothest abilities. That being said, crashing, is what the problem is here. I will have a session where it’s perfect. No crashes, glitches, or anything; Then the next time I am running a mission and next thing you know the game just stops and brings me to the home screen, and I will have to start over the mission. That is very frustrating when it comes to a time consuming difficult mobile mission that I have put forth much effort towards. I would greatly appreciate someone’s attention towards this problem so that whenever I want to play I will never have to worry about a crash. Other than this issue, the game on the iPhone X runs better than nicely. Very nice work rockstar. I will always be a fan, and I know mobile games will always have there issues but running this game on a iPhone X that allowed 60fps should be no problem running this game! Let’s get this fixed so us GTA: SA lovers can enjoy this game without the nervousness of losing all our progress from the current session, because we all know a long fought session of mission getting taken away from our fingertips is enough to rage quit and delete the whole game right then and there! A Classic Game That Captures Your Heart 🔥💽I can’t believe how smoothly it runs on iOS, especially with a Bluetooth controller. It’s like having a portable console with you everywhere you go. Just get an iPhone stand to prop it up sideways and Bluetooth controller and you are good to go. Only complaints that weren’t enough to make me remove a star is that the game is kinda buggy and glitchy at times. Sometimes the NPC cars will glitch out of existence. Sometimes the traffic will speed up insanely fast and cars will ram into each other and explode. Only one time did the game freeze on me. But overall it’s wild to me to see how much fun I can have replaying an old classic. I used to play GTA San Andreas back in the day on my PS3 and I swear it runs better than it did years ago on a console. Other than the bugs and glitches that aren’t really too harsh. This game is worth every penny on iOS. Just get the controller like I said and you can enjoy your console experience on the go so you don’t have to use the touch controls. Pretty good, just one issue with latest patchI’ve played San Andreas for many years now and I always considered the game as my favorite GTA of all the other GTA games. I play on an iPhone 11 and the gameplay for my experience is almost perfect. I have experienced the game crashing a few times but it happens rarely. I have had a couple bugs occur here and there but they nothing major. There is one bug after the latest patch where cars now travel maybe 100 times faster than normal. They seem to freeze in place but you can still hear the engine making the sound it should make when traveling. It then travels very fast and disappears. Or sometimes you can find them slamming onto another car and it can happen to you too. The cars can sometimes go through your car as well and disappear. I carjacked a couple of the bugged cars and you can see how travel very fast from the default routes the NPCs take. I forgot to mention that in some roads the cars just vanish into the sky. It’s kind of frustrating sometimes during missions where you have to keep the car in perfect condition which means leaving them undamaged. Most of these bugged cars occur in specific areas like freeways, countryside or some parts of cities. The car type doesn’t matter either since it can happen to any car.Bowrider YTVersion: 2.2.19

Great game but some glitchesI love this game, very fun, but there are a few glitches. The first one is on the robbery mission, sometimes when you get close to something CJ gets stuck on something and you can’t move which wakes up the person inside and then you get a 3 star wanted level. Another one is that the wrecking ball does not exist it is just a floating metal ball. Whenever I try to put a car in a garage it says you cannot store anymore vehicles in this garage even though my garage is completely empty and if I try to push my car in it will delete it. Another glitch I have experienced is that when I die during a gang war it gives the territory to me or it just removes it which I’m pretty sure is not supposed to happen. The last glitch happens on a date sometimes when you finish doing what she tells you to do instead of telling you to take her home, it doesn’t do that and when you do take her home you can’t drop her off, so you end up stuck with her and I have to restart the game. Also please put an option to disable tilt controls because I have to try to keep my iPad perfectly flat because if I don’t the car will pull to the other direction and it’s annoying..ThatOneBoi420Version: 2.02

Bug/and glitchesI don’t know if anyone else experiences this, but ever since this game has gotten new updates, the npc while driving their car randomly goes like ghost mode or not sure how to call it; it either goes through other npc cars without damaging them or gets stuck underneath and takes a few seconds before it explodes, which also happened to me when I’m driving the npc gets stuck underneath and I lose my car, not sure if this happens only to me or anyone. Also, random npc cars can spawn infront of you making you crash, this made driving less fun because your car can get randomly stuck with an npc and make both cars explode. I also noticed that the gang members when you make them join you, they don’t follow you anymore and get sidetracked, which makes taking over other gangs a little harder because you can’t control them anymore, hopefully this gets fixed to make the game better and run more smoothly.KG_7890Version: 2.2.21

Overall good but needs a little closer look…Its a little glitchy but it runs good enough that I can get through the game. I really wish they added gps like the definitive edition and maybe a tab in the pause menu for entering cheats. Ive played this for well over a decade it was easy for me to map my controls in a way that I could play in this touch screen style. Controls for the most part make sense. I will say I was stuck on the mission when you have to dance with the DJ. Idk how the scoring system works on that but I only messed up once on the dancing part and didnt have enough points. Seems a bit too challenging I can only imagine the mission when you have to control the RC plane 🤦🏽. It could be because im still not as used to using touch screen as opposed to a controller but im sure the same could be said for many. I feel like that dancing mission specifically needs to be made less challenging. Great game But.San Andreas Mobile is an absolute classic that still holds up beautifully. From the gameplay to the story, everything feels just as engaging as the original, with the added bonus of being able to play it on the go. I especially loved how alive the world feels — even down to the way NPCs (bystanders/civilians) behave and react, which makes the city immersive and dynamic. The missions are memorable, the freedom to explore is unmatched, and the overall experience is fantastic. My only small critiques are the swimming and aiming mechanics. Swimming, while better than nothing, feels a bit clunky during missions where it’s required, and the aiming system could use some polish. There’s barely any ability to fine-tune aim — the gunplay itself isn’t hard, but activating precise aiming feels less smooth than it should be. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is a classic for many, and if you think a mobile version would be a downgrade, you’d actually be mistaken. Funny enough, this app actually has more graphical fidelity than the console and pc versions (unmodded) today. Cars now have reflections between metal and glass that make the cars look cleaner than they ever did on previous platforms. They balance this with a lower level-of-detail draw distance to make everything around you look sharper. The change is negligent to gameplay, and strictly an adjustment for better optimization. The control interface is top notch. You never feel like you’re at a disadvantage playing a game from a touch screen that was originally designed for ergonomic controllers. In fact, the button placement for different actions in-game can be moved around in Redefine Controls in the menus, allowing you to entirely shift every action to exactly where your fingers naturally would move to to perform that action. If you use Analog Steering for your steering preset, you can reset the origin of the analog stick every time you place your finger down to steer. This is an important touch to the control interface because it means you don’t have to look down to place your finger back down on a stationary analog control. It’s GTA:SA. AmazingThe game is great and all but sometimes there are bugs that ruin the game or make me frustrated. One of the bugs was that a Snapshot didn't come up and I couldn't get that last one. As well as having invisible airport gates and cranes. The game is great I like the storyline and the game mechanics except for the shooting. Lock on Pros When you put the aiming on auto lock on the game is a lot easier but at the same time harder. Cons If there is a lot of people (like pedestrians) the lock on just locks on some people that are no threat and the ones who are have a few seconds until you stop shooting and lock on the threat, it's annoying but tolerable since there is many places to get armor and last a bit longer. Free aim Pros When free aiming you are able to pick who to shoot and as well as pick were to shoot (like a headshot). Cons When running or when there is a bunch of people shooting you it gets kind of difficult (an example is the first time you do a mission with Wo Zi Mu it is easier to do it with a lock on aimer mode I found that out the hard way) to take them all out while finding a person to shoot aiming and finally shooting it takes a while and you get gunned down. Those are the only complaints about the game but other than that the games is awesome. I do die a lot and destroy my car a lot as well but those are just because I am bad at driving and not very skillful in avoiding bullets which may affect the my aiming complaint but I finally completed the game and don't really need to worry about it but my advise is to switch between the aiming modes through out the game it helps a lot. Love the game, but it Won’t Stop CrashingI love the mobile version of San Andreas, it’s so much fun going on a bunch of missions and game play is very easy to understand and fairly easy to play as well. However the game will not stop crashing which can be very frustrating while I am in the middle of a mission and will have to restart. At one point, about a day after my download the app would load at all and would crash while on the loading screen and I would not be able the play, the happened repeatedly and my game would not load so I tried to delete and redownload thinking that the point of signing up for the social club was to save your progress, but I was mistaken and the game make we start from the original state and I had lost all of my progress. Good game but glitches are difficult to overcomeI enjoy playing the game and I’ve played through the game many times but I’ve been experiencing glitches that make the game difficult for me. 1. When going on a date with Michelle and she drives cj will get out of the car and not get in once she gets in. It will leave u at this far camera view and no option to move while Michelle drives out of view. U will sit there for 2 minutes then it will say progress with her has decreased and u will gain movement controls but are stuck in the camera view forcing me to quit the app and go back in. Also for some reason I have a glitch where I have unlimited sprint which isn’t a bad thing but I like to play fair and earn my stamina myself but the sprint won’t allow me to lose fat as I run forcing me to go to the gym and doing it there so my fat increases a lot which is a problem if I Don’t want cj fat. Some glitchesFirst of all, that review where it says they have to intercept the people before they reach las venturas, is not a glitch, just fly way off the map. Second, the mission dam and blast glitches bad and to move on i have to pass it. It says steal a plane and fly to the jump point on the map. I did. Its so simple its not even funny but the game wont give me any directions on what to do next and it wont give me the button to parachute out of the plane when i want to on this mission. The game is very fun and some missions are very challenging and so fun but i would give 5 stars if u could fix this. Also, please add in rocket launchers Into ammo-nation because its so annoying when i get three stars and i have nothing to kill or take down the helicopter with and i cant snipe the pilot because there isnt 1 inside. Glitches But Worth ItFirst of all, thanks for making this game available on iOS. Big shout out to Rockstar for that. There are a bunch of glitches but the game is still worth the purchase. I’m using in on iPhone X even thought it says it’s not supported. First glitch is the there are times where the steering wheel when driving is stuck on one side so it makes driving hard. What’s funny is I use to have this same issue on the original Xbox all those years ago and I use to beat the crap out of my control thinking it was my control, turns out it’s the game. The other issue is that it randomly exits out the app, it’s especially annoying when your half way or almost done with a mission because it makes you restart it from the beginning. Other than that there isn’t any other big issues that I can say are enough to turn me away. GTA is the best game of all time. I’d give infinite stars if possible.Its a fantastic game, just like always. The controls are simple, but the storyline is complex, and great gameplay. Obviously, the graphics are top notch, but it makes up for it with storyline and gameplay. I love reading idiots who give it 1 star. No sound? probably because your device is horrendous. Bad controls? Check the settings. It honestly sounds like these people havent played a game in there life. Honestly, I cant complement this game enough. Must-buy— whether you love GTASA or have never playedI was a bit skeptical at first buying this, as I expected a mobile version of a console game to be severely crippled in a couple ways. As it turns out, this is legitimately the full San Andreas, slapped on top of a faster processor than your PS2 could ever fathom. The graphics are better and load significantly faster than before. The controls are a little clunky, but that’s a side effect of the small screen I’m playing on. After getting used to it, the game handles the same as it should. I even beat the mission “Learning to Fly” quicker than I would have on a console. I have a feeling that certain features of the game have been “dulled” or made easier to compensate for the controls— get on a motorcycle early on in the game and you’ll see what I mean. The only downside as far as I can tell is that there are no cheats in this version. This is a really big bummer, as the cheats in this game are like a separate game built in. So many glitches I can’t even count them.First off, I’d like to say that I love this game so much and I play it pretty much everyday. Aside from that, I wanted to point out the problems I’ve been having which also get in the way of me completing missions. The cars go so fast on the streets that they submerge into each other and explode. If I’m driving my car or bike is likely to get caught up into another car and blow up. Cars even go so fast that they fly in the sky. I deleted my app, and reinstalled it, restarted/rebooted my phone, and followed everything everyone advised online and nothing helps. Knew I shouldn’t have bought thisJust as the game started to get fun, my game now crashes in the loading screen, I can’t even get in before the game just takes me to my screensaver. Nearly perfect!Coming back to the app 4 years later after trying to complete the first 2 games, I noticed something wrong, everything was fine until I started driving THEY ADDED TILT CONTROLS, NO!!! Now I’m trying to drive, and keep my phone perfectly balanced, making driving such a chore, also cars have a tendency to spawn into other cars, causing crashing, and chained explosions, also your gang, and CPU back up is brain dead, they don’t shoot, even when hit, making a few missions harder to pass, and shooting itself has a problem, manual mode has slow movement aim, so your just eating bullets while aiming, especially in a few car shooting missions, and automatic targeting is random, you could lock on someone farthest to you just because. Simple port issues, sad day.Game is beautiful. But lack of true controller support renders the game unplayable for story progression, and poor porting of controls makes gunplay nearly impossible (unless using touchscreen input, which, for most people, I assume, makes driving difficult) -when using game pad- Aim is stuck as lock on, even if you disable and set to free aim in settings, and using a paired Xbox controller - the aim always snaps to the nearest target. There is no “half pull trigger and enter free aim” as there should be, nor is there any way to cycle through your targets once you locked on, so you’re stuck in firefights where you keep turning the camera 180 degrees and aiming at some poor pedestrian who has nothing to do with the conflict and you get shot in the back. There is no controller binding edit option, so you can’t add cycle targets. And you can’t hybrid play because once a controller is detected, touch input is disabled. I don’t see why it would be for lack of mappable buttons, since the L trigger and both the bumpers are dead buttons while you’re aiming, so they definitely have option to program so left trigger causes Aim down sight, whereas right trigger snaps to nearest target, or so that the bumpers cycle targets - either would make the game playable. Fun but controls take time to adjustThe game is as fun as I remembered it however, the controls take some getting used like shooting and looking around to shoot works so so, and the jetpack isn’t so easy because it should fly like the helicopters controls but it controls are like driving a car the reason being is the rotation control you get flying a helicopter doesn’t carry to jetpack making the green goo mission a bit tough but still playable and for those who didn’t know there is a setting in game that makes automatic acceleration turn that off if you’re car or motorcycle is driving like its being pulled to one direction the game is still fun, but if you plan on buying this app do not expect the devs to fix or add something, because R* isn’t supporting the apps updates anymore..C410DABB3NVersion: 2.01

So many glitches but so funI’ve had to restart my game 4 times already and by that I mean the whole entire game from the start. It’s so fun that I keep doing it but it’s just happening more and more constantly. I get so far only to be brought back to the tutorial in the beginning. This game is so fun but I just can’t keep restarting bc I keep repeating missions I’ve already completed and it’s getting to the point where it’s not fun anymore. Awsome gameI absolutely love this game it never gets me bored I also like the story and the missions this game is basically the animated version of Gta 5. I also like the game because there's 3 big city's and gangs to fight like the north side vargos or the da nang boys in San fierro and in Las venturas there's casinos and ice cold ken does heists with you and also Salvatore leone sends you to liberty city. Plus there's the the train to take to other city's and the plane to the other city's. Great game but not meant for cell phoneLove this game and played it on PS3 but the only issue with it being on the phone is this game is too big for a phone. I’m seeing cars fall out of the sky and blow up my car while I’m in the middle of a mission, when doing burglaries I’ll get stuck on furniture or walls unable to move and the only way to get unstuck is if the people in the house kill CJ, I can’t fight back or anything, just have to let it happen. Cars will randomly appear under my vehicle and explode and then people will randomly appear in front of me and it gives me a wanted level. Game is great but...Game is great and I love being able to play one of my favorite games from the series on my iPad. However I wish that when connected to a PS4 controller you had the option to cycle through the original controls as some of the game mechanics are difficult with the controller lay out. One of the main instances being flying, especially with the hydra jet. The Hydra was one of my favorite vehicles to just get on a play around in. But even with a PS4 controller it is now so difficult to fly that it lost some of its appeal. The inability to manually control the thrusters and be able to use L1 and R1 to bank and simple things like that would be greatly appreciated. Amazing but one problemThis game has been amazing and it brings back nostalgia from the 2000’s and if I could play one game for the rest of my life I would chose this game butttt in the mission “Og loc” it took several hours to finish it because rockstar was taking control of my bike during the chase with whatever his name was for example when I was chasing the dudes bike I did nothing wrong and rockstar jinked my bike and I fell off a road and failed the mission and also rockstar spawned a car out of nowhere in my way in this mission and in the mission were Ryder gets the boxes off the train if you don’t have 100$ for a pay n spray it says “no more freebies you need 100$” so I failed the mission purposely and pressed exit and when I was back were I was with missions available the game took ally my money and guns and pistol stats.ReaderragingVersion: 2.2.14

Great game, terrible softwareObviously SA is a great game and it plays surprisingly well, that is when it actually lets you play. Besides the obvious game glitches like pieces of your car changing colors whenever you hit something every so often. I’ve also recently been having a problem where I can’t even open the game anymore. I’ll try to resume my current game session and it simply crashes and the game closes itself. I then have to try to reload and the same process repeats itself. I understand it may be a temporary issue which is why I leave four stars instead of five. Some weird glitch for iPhone XSo a few years ago I bought this game on my iPod 5, and it ran PERFECTLY never ran into any problems. Later I got the game on the Samsung s5 and once again no problems. But when I got the iPhone X I noticed if I play the game on this phone it will randomly crash, I could be playing for 5 minutes and it’ll crash and other times I would be playing for a good 30 minutes and all of a sudden boom. Game crashes and I lose all of my progress. I doubt rockstar will pay attention to this game anymore but please fix these issues, also make this game compatible with the iPhone X so it fills the whole screen. Great GameAs this game is from 2013, Its great. The graphics and gameplay are better than most games I’ve seen for the iPad or iPhone. Actually their fantastic. Its like playing the original, if not better. I have a wifi controller and ive been playing with that its almost the same as when playing PlayStation. I cant only imagine if apple decided to create a game system or to be able to convert video games onto iOS platforms more, such as with this game. I hope more GTA games release on the App Store. Fun, but the console version is better.Loved the game when playing in PS2! Basically the reason I decided to purchase on iOS. But, unfortunately, the iOS version is slightly different from the console versions. The issues I find with this game are the controls and the lack of cheats. The fact that you can’t free aim or cycle through targets makes gameplay difficult at times. The auto-aim selects the person (mainly civilians when your free roaming) closes to you instead of the rival gang members shooting at you from down the block. The second issue is the lack of cheats! The whole purpose and appeal of GTA is the be able to use the cheats to reek havoc in between missions. Not having them make the game a little basic. My best gaming experience so far!I had recently bought Minecraft and San Andreas and finally had the chance to try out both games. Playing Minecraft was as expected but after a while, I sort of got bored and had nothing to build, whereas in GTA San Andreas, the game becomes more exciting as you play. I initially did not think much of GTA other than the freedom to shoot cops, but this edition has the main focus on gang violence in neighborhoods which continuously updates the player with new missions and things to do in the game. I tried to go back to Minecraft and continue building but only found myself back at San Andreas. It appears the game is so fun I can’t get sick of it. The controls are terrible. 100% completion of this game will be a nightmareI've played GTA San Andreas on PC and the controls are so horrendous in this version compared to it. For cycling, you can't accelerate on your own by double tapping a button, instead they make it so that you only accelerate by moving in one direction for a given time. This is heavily limiting especially on the Mt Chiliad challenge where your competitors will zoom past you on every turn there is. Zero's 2nd mission is daunting as well because you can't modify any of the flight controls. The awkward positioning of the firing button to the accelerate button makes the mission incredibly frustrating especially when the AI will always have aimbot aim on your plane while in the air. Nostalgia to the max!I’m playing this on my iPad Pro 12.9 & the load times are insanely fast. Not the way I remember it on my PS2. Anyhow this a clean port and its preformed great on my hardware. I open the app, and am greeted by a login page. While I was afraid I would have to connect a Rockstar account in order to play there was an option to skip it. I was finally ready to play. Then the most glaring issue hits me: the game is ridiculously choppy. While yes, the game is playable, it stutters incredibly often, and it’s really irritable when you’re trying to do anything. Playing in an iPhone 15 pro, I was really expecting this app to preform well, but I guess that’s on me. The controls are fine, gameplay looks solid, and audio quality is understandable, the lack of a smooth frame rate really numbs me out. Seeing as how this game gets bug fixes every now and then, I would love to see it improved. Horrible ControlsI’ve been playing this on my iPad. It’s a fun game but the controls are cumbersome and too sensitive, even with sensitivity turned all the way down. There is no rhyme or reason to the camera angles when turning while walking or running. The camera pans all over the place and I sometimes end up staring at my own face. During gun fights, I’m getting shot while I try to reorient myself. It would be nice if the view would stay first person so I can see where I am going. When driving some vehicles, especially at high speeds, the slightest touch of a direction control sends me into a spin or into obstacles. It would also be nice if the route to a target was highlighted on the heads-up map instead of having to guess which way to go. This would be especially helpful in the countryside portions of the map. On long routes, I need to pause the game multiple times to check my position on the overall map so I can continue on. The further I progressed in the game, the less I actually wanted to play it and I ended up deleting the game. They are launched suddenly, they also happen to appear on top of or inside each other until they explode. When they normally walk through the streets of any of the game's three cities, they are thrown into other vehicles. Example the restart from last checkpoint is always a complete restart of the entire mission no matter how far through the mission you made it or even if you’ve gone through cutscenes. Crashed and progress is goneThe game crashed two times for me, and after it crashed my progress was all gone. The first time it crashed I was one tag away from 100% completion, I was doing the Burglary missions for infinite sprint, I got stuck somewhere so I exited the game and when I pressed resume, the game kept on crashing on the loading screen.
