About ETA - GPS & Maps Driving Times (Eastwood)
ETA instantly shows travel time (including support for driving, public transit*, cycling* and walking) to your favourite places. When driving, ETA also supplies traffic information that details any delays on your route.
Our thoughtfully designed iOS Home Screen widgets will keep you informed of the travel and traffic situation without you needing to open the app. The calendar widget automatically retrieves your appointments so you know when best to leave to arrive on time. In line with Apple's guidelines our Home Screen widgets update at regular intervals during the day.
## The only app that shows driving time on your watch face ##
You can rely on ETA to show you travel time on the watch face of your Apple Watch. Whether you travel by car, bike, public transit or foot, ETA will update in the background and show you an updated travel time as you move. ETA adheres to Apple's guidelines and updates at minimum every 15 minutes ensuring your watch face displays current travel time and traffic conditions.
## The only app that gives you travel time to meetings and appointments in one place ##
ETA's 'set and forget' calendar functionality is a must have to keep you on time for your appointments and meetings. Once setup, ETA automatically monitors your calendar (securely and privately on your device) and displays travel time and traffic conditions for your upcoming events. This is available across our apps on iOS and Apple Watch, on your Apple Watch watch face as well in widgets on your iPhone Home Screen and Today View.

ETA is a great concept. The app does give an eta on my saved destination but it needs work on the Apple Watch Complication. These are my feedback notes and I hope the developer(s) sees them. First, the Complication does not automatically update when I raise my wrist. I have to open the app on the watch, go to the main screen, force press to get the option to refresh. The app will save what screen you are on when you use the Complication but when you leave with the destination screen selected, the only force touch option is “Set Complication”. If we can’t get the functionality to have the Complication update in real time or every minute or every time you raise your wrist, then we need a second force touch option, to force refresh, when you are in a destination screen. Honestly, the ability to have it update automatically in real time is more preferred. Second, in the new Infograph face, what does the numbers mean? The graph for the Complication has min 0 and a variable max. The indicator dot on the graph line does not move. The variable max number does not match the ETA timer. An example, I have a 40 minute commute and the Complication is set to 0 - 13. What is the 13? It’s not miles. I have no idea what the function is for. This needs context. If it was explained, I’m sorry for not seeing it. Third, the developer website only loads the message “Mcrypt PHP extension required.”. This comes off on both Chrome and Safari browsers. I wanted to give my feedback there instead of a review and I couldn’t find a developer email.
Kind of an odd title, I’m well aware, but one that’s perfectly suited to the odd relationship I’ve had with this app over the past ~2 years since initially purchasing it (followed promptly the in-app premium feature upgrades). Considering it’s been some time since, I can’t quite remember whether I’d been afforded the opportunity to utiize it in getting to and from my job even once, before it stopped registering the location or ETA’s from any of mysaved addresses. I’d I had to venture a guess this couldn’t have been anymore than 36 hours later. This first run was short lived. The next small handful since, wherein I’ve decided to chance another minor defeat would consistently prove to be just that. Now, another span of months since last trying, I was feeling adventurous and had my biannual go… and it’s working! Now, it might be worth mentioning that each past attempt had been carried out on an iPhone 6S, which – following its natural course, had largely drgraded into petroleum – I recently replaced with an iPhone 12 Mini. Also worth noting, that 6S, being the old bat that she was, didn’t take kindly to change, running iOS 12.1 from 2018 until roughly two months prior to passing (after which point I believe it was 14.3). Could any of these factors been the culprit, or at least played a contributing role? Who knows. You know, at the onset of this monologue, which I clearly have no better thing to do than continue on with, I was going to give this app two stars, but that was long ago, and I was a different me, living a very different life. One which existed for approximately two years, but no less than a year and a half carrying with them the burden of not knowing their ETA, even though they’d paid to know their ETA, not once… nor twice… but on THREE separate occasions. Anyways, I just checked the app again, and it appears to be working? FIVE STARS!
Update: Increased a star because a lot of gripes have been fixed! The app has been working consistently now, and ETA is always updating reliably. I still wish I could get the app to use google maps for time estimates since Apple maps estimates are more hit and miss for me. In fact if I could see the maps, google maps, and waze estimates at the same time then that would be killer app status. So I always click through to google map directions to get their estimate. But if you just want to see multiple ETAs at once, then this shines at that! Old review below ———— I really want to love this app. In fact this app is on my home screen even though I have issues. Often, I will open it and it will remember my location being somewhere else and I will have to force close for it to update. If I don’t notice, I’ll hit the button for directions and it will give me a route starting from the wrong location, since it sends coordinates to the connecting map apps instead of real addresses and “current location” Watch apps and widgets don’t update every time I look at them, creating a few extra steps to get them to work or else just give up and open maps directly. Sometimes the app won’t update at all and I need to force close and restart it Reason I still use it is that it’s nice to see drive times to multiple locations at once. Makes me learn traffic tendencies better even if I am not interested in going to everything on my list. And when it works it’s fantastic, although I still always open the link to google maps to ensure the routing is right, as it uses Apple maps as a backbone which isn’t always as accurate for times. Why can’t I choose which map service to give time estimates for. Good app, but lots of room for improvement
A few weeks ago I stated how great this app really really is! Believe me that has not changed! I use this app everyday and it’s data has for me been right on the nose know matter what time of day! It’s not always now days you can find an app that is helpful to your daily travel that’s correct! This one is really is. I would like to thank the Developer for putting out such a Unique Outstanding Design 5 Star ⭐️ app. You can tell that this Developer has put a great Deal of Time hard Work Sweat and yes Love into the coding of this Software for you myself and our family. So with that I would like to Thank the Developer for His Dedication and Commitment on His unique Design App. With that I simply want to Tip my Hat 🎩 to The Developer and say “ Thank’s “
Long time user of this app and I think it’s wonderful overall and definitely worth the download. However I have some small suggestions over what could be improved. Apple Watch complications are still very buggy and don’t update often, only when I tap the complication is there an ETA update. Also would it be possible to have a widget like commute but instead have origin set as current location ? I feel like that would be more valuable because I’m always curious on how far away is home when I’m driving and running errands.

Love the app .. futuristic with a fine tune of simplicity yet straight forward to give you exactly what you need ; to prepare for the travel that lies ahead … What I would love to be included if possible in later updates is .. alarm triggered travel time . Where you’d be able to set such alarm to start and or prioritize a destination for the duration requested .. and be present on Apple Watch’s Live Activities For example : • Good morning “ insert name “ - You have a travel time alert set for 7am for “ work “ ( reminders - 1hr / 30mins / 15mins Before travel time is active ) .. - your travel time is now active for “ dinner with in-laws “ Location : Cheesecake Factory. Travel time to Wing Stop will be active in 30mins , would you like to cancel ? . ( within making alarm ; a toggle button to give option to continue/cancel requested travel time ) - travel time is now active for “ morning run “ .. 21 minutes to the finish line / partly cloudy with wind. • Good afternoon: “ insert name “ -Travel time is now set for “ new job interview “ tomorrow at 6:30a - travel time suggested “ chic fil a “ Light traffic / sunny ( recent visits / common commute ) - travel time to “ Top Golf “ has been adjusted due to accident reported , suggested route for earlier arrival .. ( toggle button for suggested alternative route and also toggle button to have such travel time prioritize for a duration period window you’ve selected 2pm-5pm via Live Activities on Apple Watch or iPhones lock screen after time duration requested is over … priority is minimum ) Honestly with these small add ons it’ll make one ; more involved in the app and create multiple “ alarm travel times “ just to better themselves with their ETA lol .. with additional alerts and notifications this will definitely aid the cause ..
If you have places to be and tend to be late casue you think you have enough time to get there but end up late because you misjudged your arrival time, I recommend this app! It's helped gauge my time, I know when to leave the house right off the bat when looking at this app, and I you can have many different places added on the app so you always know which place you need to be and when to leave and it updates in real time and also calculates traffic! It's a must have
This is my favorite app for checking times to leave and to add it to the calendar so it can tell me when I need to leave so I’m not late! I love the Apple Watch app. It’s so convenient using the Apple Watch app. This app has all locations in front of you so you can check various locations to see how much time it takes to get there or arrive. It also allows a few extra minutes you can set for parking. How convenient is that especially if your at a hospital clinic trying to find a parking spot.
Love this app. The best feature is the Lock Screen widget that can gives traffic report and commuter time. I have a simple suggestion to make it better; right now the widget only works in one direction (I have it set from home to work). After leaving work, the widget’s report remains on work (not very useful). It would be great if the destination on the widget automatically reversed based on location [or perhaps time of day], switching the destination from work to home.
I work in Product Design so love trying out new apps, evolved UI improvements, etc. Was so impressed when trying out your new watch experience. Full featured, intuitive interface, seamless calendar integration and fast. Polished information design keeps the right info prioritized for glanceable comprehension (so many products fail at that!) I bought this app long ago but now have a major renewed interest. Keep up the great work!
I am hearing of new updates in the works for months to help alleviate the 12 etas limitation within widget. We will now have folders for better organization. With that new update we have been told that we will be able to openly communicate with support through application. Also, when u click on a location it gives you three travel options, not sure how u can select which option you want to choose or if it just automatically picks the shortest one. Can we select which route we want to take ? Would also love option to sort by distance from your current location when looking at a list. Can you please share ETA (HaHa) on when this new version will be released or if a test flight version will be released. Thanks.
So after the latest update things became much more stable. Apple Watch app works better now. Still seeing some discrepancies between the time Apple Watch app shows vs iPhone. —————————————————————— Unfortunately this app has been unreliable. The widgets are hit and miss with updating, the actual travel time in the widget vs the app is different? The Apple Watch companion never updates for me. It’s unfortunate because this app is exactly what I’m looking for but just don’t deliver consistently.
Thanks for coming up with this app. I accidentally came across this app and already love it. The app is AWESOME and very simple to use. If I may suggest two features to be added it would be to enable multiple addresses of the same contact (ex home and work). The second would be to categorize your saved locations by color (green is recreational, yellow is eats, blue is business, purple is friends etc. Bottom line is, this super helpful app is a must!
Very customizable and simple to set up. I quite love the look and functionality of the complications. A handy schedule option exists so you can make the complications change routes spending in time of day, which is great! Recently experienced a bug that the developers were quick and responsive to fixing. Have depended on this app for years and don’t plan on stopping any time soon!
I’m not sure what the benefit of this app is. Am I missing something in thinking that if you put an address into any navigation app it will give you the same information? That said, I think a useful feature to add would be to add a time to leave notification in order to reach a destination by a certain time, and also be able to add a buffer (i.e. 5, 10, 15min) to factor time like changing clothes, using the restroom before leaving, etc.
I like this app and having it on my watch. It needs to give you the quickest route to your set location by default. I have 2 ways I can get to work everyday. I check the app, and it's just telling me one, unless I click in and look at all the possible routes. It should just show you the quickest.
I live in the DC metro area and ETA lives as a widget on my phone and complication on my watch. Like most metro areas, DC traffic is constantly jacked. ETA does a great job of keeping me reliably informed so that I have the flexibility to plan another route or earlier. The developer support for ETA is fantastic and they’ve added features over the years that have brought this app front and center into my daily workflow.
(updated review) While Apple Maps and others are generally great at finding a business’s listed address, I’ve used ETA on my iPhone for years for storing the locations of parking structures and other alternate entrances. It’s been a handy tool with which to keep a list of frequent destinations, ready to pop into one’s choice of navigation app.
Here’s just a list of what I use ETA for, especially now that it’s iOS 12 ready. - Travel times to work, university, and home are readily available in my today view and lock screen. - Apple Watch integration lets me quickly see how traffic will be as I’m heading off work. - Siri integration is super useful when my hands are full. - Powerful automation tool. Now that this app supports Shortcuts, I can use it in a variety of different ways, such as launching directions to my frequent locations from the lock screen and Siri, as well as stringing it together with a CARROT⁵ Weather shortcut that can tell me weather conditions and traffic conditions when I’m getting ready in the morning.
Absolutely love this app overall. Excellent support and updates keep coming. So simple and makes sense. Only issue I have is I have quite a list and only the first 9 locations seem to update on launch. Hopefully there will be a way to refresh a location further in my list. Please. Please. Please and thank you!!!
Is there an option for calendar event integration to display when you need to leave by to make the appointment? That’s really the only reason I paid for the calendar option and I’m surprised it doesn’t do that. Other than that the app works ok, but there are some UX oversights that don’t make sense. Apple Watch Compilation is not very useful.
Great app for anyone who travels to places more than once! Sweet feature lets you see the ETA’s of all your saved locations. I fly drones and this helps determine where to travel based on traffic, etc. Highly recommended!
ETA is a focused and accurate way to determine and share travel and arrival times. There are dozens of other apps for routing and driving directions -- ETA stands alone in providing the most essential data of all: when will I get there. The UX is clear, concise and attractive, and can be customized for easy use. The Apple Watch app functions flawlessly and makes the app useful as you drive. Now with iOS 12 - and deep Siri and Apple Watch integration, ETA is even more powerful. Excellent choice for travelers anywhere - highly recommended.
This app is awesome! With a wide range of themes and customizations, it can offer a quick glimpse into your daily commute or an upcoming appointment. The widget is nice, though I prefer to leave the app on my home screen and jump right into it.
I really love the ETA app on my Apple Watch. One annoying thing however is the alternate location often reset to none. Is this an issue you are aware of? Thanks!
It only shows two contacts, therefore it’s almost useless to me. I would have to enter each destination every time I go somewhere, this is very inconvenient and should be addressed, other than that it works great.
On my iPhone and Apple Watch, if I select Transit and get the directions by using Apple Maps, with a physical address in, Apple Maps reports it as an "Unknown Destination".
Have been using with my watch since day 1. Great for updates during commutes or even just a quick look at traffic conditions. Directions could be a little bit quicker to navigate to but all around money well spent. Can't speak to the mobile app as the glances/watch version leave no need to use on phone once set up.
Worth it; simple and easy
Does exactly what is advertised. Love it on phone (notification centre) and watch. Very cool as a complication on the modular face. Configuration requires some knowledge to customize it. There are clear well written tips and tricks on the company's website. Their support folks are helpful and I received a reply from them in practically no time at all given a difference of time zone.
ETA is an amazing app for determining traffic conditions and directions to places you visit on a daily basis. It provides I nice overview of how long it will take you to arrive, especially in the iOS 8 widget. Keep up the great work! One suggestion is to add a way to default avoid tolls when using GMaps to get traffic directions.
Love the app for its ability to show me travel times at a glance. Only wish there was a setting to avoid toll roads (would be nice if that was baked into Apple Maps for that matter).
Clean design and functional. Location times at a quick glance.
Way to go! What a great little app!!
The new addition of the three route options per location is executed well.
The Notification Centre widget is one of the best features of this app as it allows you to quickly see the ETA for your 3 chosen destinations. You can select these destinations by moving them to your first 3 locations in the app. The simplicity of the app is what shines. It is intuitive to find and save my locations. Without this app, I was hardly checking my eta in Google Maps because it took too many steps. It's much easier now with the app. Great job, team!
Provides quick access to basic info. Easily expanded to provide directions. Wonderful support. I had an issue that was resolved within a few hours of contact. That's what I call customer service!
This app works fantastically. Great interface. Just the right amount of info. And it also serves as a "favorites" list for the Apple or Google Maps apps.
Worth it for showing up in Today View for iOS 8. Feature request: It would be REALLY useful if I could specify different routes for a destination. This would let me pick which route I take to work or home, depending on traffic.
Makes excellent use of the new widgets in iOS 8. Happy that I can use whichever navigation app I would like. Only seeing 3 of my locations on the notifications pull down screen. Would like to add more if possible.
Check Today View on iOS8. I initially only had 1 (for home) and although ETA shows up on Today View, the content was blank. As soon as I had 4, started showing up on Today View.
Great app. What an awesome and simple idea to create an ETA app. Perfect for office. Here some features I'd like to see: - rearrange order feature - create categories of destinations - and if it is possible, introduce push notification of appointment from the calendar app Keep the good work
ETA - GPS & Maps Driving Times Negative Reviews and Ratings
I haven't heard back from you, I love the idea of this app but its still incomplete. Here is what will usually happen, i will want to get in my car, plug my iphone in so that it will connect to carplay, during that split second that its connecting, i want to look at the widgets and see how long its gonna take me to get to work, home, etc. It tells me the minutes on that location, but not the route. So i have no idea which freeway this app is using to tell me its gonna take 25 minutes to get to wherever. What if i get excited that its only gonna be 14 minutes to get home and im gonna assume that its referring to the 210 freeway (my usual route) when in fact theres an accident and instead it was 14 minutes using the 15 freeway. Oops! This is why i deleted this app 2 years ago because i didnt feel confident using it without that extra bit of info on the today view. I dont want to tap on the preset location, unlock my phone, and look at the map when it could just say "14 minutes via 15 freeway". Please address this, i cannot use this app otherwise
I bought this for the sole purpose of having an accurate ETA to work displayed in real time as a complication on my Apple Watch. I installed it and gave the app all the proper permissions (including making sure the iPhone app is set to “always” with location). When you open the iPhone app, it auto updates and accurate info is displayed. But the app, iPhone widget and watch complication simply do not update with any noticeable regularity. The complication, in particular, usually shows highly inaccurate stats (showing heavy traffic even though rush had completed 12 hours prior). I wish this was a rare occurrence, but even after a full week of careful testing, making sure everything is set correctly, it simply doesn’t work as advertised. The developer said this newest version fixed the issue. It didn’t in my case, and there’s nothing special about my setup. I’d recommend you definitely not purchase this app even if the developer updates with “fixes”. I’ll be asking Apple for a refund on this.
The app doesn't seem to work on the Apple Watch. I have a series 7 watch and an iPhone 13 pro max. The complication icons for travel time did not show up on the watch face, even though I have selected them in the watch face complications set up. The calendar doesn't work either because I have an appointment coming up tomorrow and it's not picking up the appointment even though I have the time the place and the address selected. I have paid $4.99 for this ETA app which shows $1.99 for travel time and $1.99 for calendar. Neither one is working on my Apple Watch 7. Please fix this as soon as possible so that I don't have to apply for a refund. The app did look promising and the only reason I purchased it was for the Apple Watch.
The new update works much better with the Apple Watch. The app itself loads a lot quicker. The new complications for s4 Apple Watch looks really good too! My only complaint is that I wish the complications would update more often. It seems like the complication loads data when you open the app but fails to update throughout the day. Even if I have all permissions turned on. Also, using force touch to specify location displayed in the complication doesn't always work. The two issues might be related. Overall the most recent update has made this app quite useful. Work out the last remaining bugs and I’ll give a full five star rating! Thank you!
Back to showing 0 minutes. Seemed to be working for a few days, but seems to have problems with auto refresh and updating. One other thing I wish it would do is “try” to guess my destination based on my GPS coordinates instead of always defaulting to my second location. Hoping for a fix soon! Wish this would work. Used to have Google Maps and it was always spot on about the traffic and time and guessed really well my next destination. I don’t use my phone when driving so like the convenience of being able to glance at my watch. But it constantly shows 0 minutes to wherever I’m going and usually shows only the location I’m at. Paid for this and the calendar sync. Have installed every update I can possibly find. Please fix!
After the latest update my apple watch lost my locations. They are on the phone app, now the apple watch has a lists option and a import function from the phone app?!? So ok, I do that but the apple watch crashes on a save an then restarts. Why make this change, why is this more complex. I used to open the app on the phone add my locations an tada they are are on my watch easy! Now I have to create a list on the apple watch an import them, would be ok really if it didn’t immediately crash? This is a mess, have you ever tried to type or use inputs on a 1 1/2 inch screen? Please fix this, I’ve uninstalled the app on the watch an reinstalled to no avail.
I have used this app for a few years and it’s generally good. I purchased the calendar connection and in app it works great. I set up the calendar widget and it doesn’t work properly. It doesn’t add the extra buffer minutes. The widget has one time to leave and the app has it 5 minutes earlier. Also when I press the widget, it opens the app and then the map app but it won’t let me “Go.” It shows “Steps” instead. Edit: the issue is with Apple Maps. I switched the navigation app to Google Maps and did not have the same issue with steps.
I was thrilled when I read about this app and immediately purchased it as well as the upgrade. Wished I hadn’t. In theory it’s a much needed complication which could help me out greatly on days where I have to do a ton of errands before going to work etc. Sadly, the complication is wonky and won’t update unless the app is open on the phone - and even then the watch app only seems to work 20% of the time. (AW3 + 7plus, all latest os versions) I hope they are able to fix it, as in theory this app would be AMAZING, sadly like most things that seem to be too good to be true, they are. The watch app side of this app is broken and I will probably ask for my money back.
So I want to love this app. I work for a company where I often drive around 50 miles a day to the same five sites and this app promised the world of making my life easier. The app itself works well. It’s the Apple Watch complication that doesn’t. It just won’t update unless you open the app on your phone. Which is... inconvenient. I tried clicking the app support link and it took me to their web page, which offered not a lot of help. It did offer an email, but it bounced back as undeliverable. If the dev reads these, I’d love some help on trying to get the complication to work.
Read the reviews before you purchase. I wish I had. This developer has a habit of advertising features of this app that DO NOT WORK. He/she does not respond to support emails. Update: Never received developer email. Developer never responded to my emails. Read the reviews. Developer seems to have a habit of 'missing' support email. And check the rating of the app. It sums up the app. At the time of this writing this app is rated 3.8. The developer has an issue with the truth. Never received any developer email. I sent 3 support emails without reply. That is enough. As a developer myself, I find this developer's response and behavior reprehensible. READ THE REVIEWS. Ignore the lies. READ THE REVIEWS.
Pretty good app, the widgets are beautiful and the roads are pretty accurate to what loads up in maps when you click them. However, this app needs an option to set routes as avoiding tolls. There are some places I just never take tolls to and having an ETA that only shows me the toll route is just not very useful. If I were to get this avoid tolls option, I would definitely update my review as the app would become much more useful to me. Please implement this, devs!
The idea is great. It’s like having geographic bookmarks for your car, with traffic factored in. And no data collection is a *huge* plus in my book. However, the integration with navigation apps other than Apple Maps does not work. Other choices are unclickable. Heck, as I discovered today, even the Leave A Review link doesn’t seem to work. And to top it off, emails for help have gone unanswered. Sad.
Every couple of years, I install ETA to see if it finally works. With my latest attempt, it still doesn't. In particular, the phone app, today widget, watch app, and watch complication so not sync and do not update regularly. They only way to get a current ETA is to manually refresh the iPhone app. This has been the case for years across multiple devices that I have owned and used in that span. I have location data set to always allow and background refresh enabled.
I have been using ETA for a good while now and find it very useful. However I noticed that the watch complication has stopped working on my Apple Watch Ultra updated to the latest OS. I have uninstalled both the app the phone and watch and nothing is working. The watch app will simply not update. I have emailed the developer about the issue but have received no response. The phone app works great but I the watch app is just not cutting it.
The app works great, but I mainly downloaded it for the widget feature assuming it tells me the ETA from my current location to a handful of my destinations. Instead, it only shows the ETA from a specific location to another specific location. There is, however, a widget in the Notification Center that does that, but it would be helpful if that widget was made for the Home Screen to make things easier. I’m only writing this because this app has great potential and really is awesome in theory.
This last update ruined this app for me. None of the functions make sense and he simple and elegance is totally gone. Please god fix this it’s absolute garbage. Been a loyal customer user for years and years and this is solidly disappointing to say the least. Why can’t I view two places two and from separate anymore? If I set a destination and start the other screen shows t destination start in reverse it’s completely useless. I want to see my route to places and how long it will take again. Very disappointed.
I can see how his would be useful for people who drive, but it is not very useful for transit. It just tells you the start to end travel duration which is only accurate if you arrive at the station at the exact time as the train. I was looking more for an app that would tell me when to leave my house to make the next possible train, which this doesn’t do without a few clicks.
This app uses the eta according to Apple Maps which is very inaccurate compared to Google Maps. It is often 10 minutes less estimated than google maps for a 30 minutes trip, which is 33% inaccurate. In addition, the ETA updates very slowly and infrequently. While I am on a moving car or bus, the ETA does not update as the car moves. One update also takes 10s of seconds. Definitely not worth the price.
I bought this, hoping to get real time travel ETA info on my home. Screen to monitor traffic and what not. Unfortunately, the widget doesn’t work. It says that it requires set up, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to do so. Tapping on the widget Quickly opens and then crashes the app. Just thought I’d give a heads up to anyone else tossing five dollars out there for this. FWIW, it looks like iOS 26 is bringing the basic widget functionality to the Maps app
I downloaded this app specifically for using it along side the included widget. When I select the “live update” widget, it’s just blank. Location is enabled and everything runs fine… but the widget is just blank, which defeats the entire reason for downloading this app. Great and useful concept, final product needs a little more work.
I like the concept of this app, and works fine with apple watch. However, I think it calculates the fastest route, which overrides my "avoid toll" option on Apple Map or Google Map. I tried to find an option in the setting, but I guess it does not have. Without this function, it is kinda useless to have it on my watchface since I do not use toll at all.
I'm unable to import locations from my iPhone app running on ios 26 onto my Apple Watch SE 2, running Watch OS 26. Whenever I try to do that, the screen shows as loading and never completes. Please fix this issue asap. When I try creating locations manually on my Apple Watch, the ETA predictions differ widely from the iPhone and doesn't show the most up to date eta, which defeats the purpose of having a watch face.
I use this app diligently when traveling for work. Always adding my hotel, job site, and airport to make it super simple to get to where I need to be in an unfamiliar city. Is there a limit of destinations on apple CarPlay? Only had of them display there. I wish I could view all of them to make it super simple when driving.
This app works about 2% of the time and will not ever load any of my Google calendar entries despite the calendars all being recognized in the list. The Apple Watch complication is always wrong because of this. I've given all permissions to the app and still won't do anything. If this worked ever it could be a great app but it doesn't, so it isn't. I paid for the upgraded version and has not been worth a single penny.
The app for some reason doesn’t work properly. Widget shows that I need to setup the commute - and it’s not obvious where. By clicking on the widget it tries to open the app and crashes. On my watch the syncing is not working. It shows empty locations. Pretty bad and annoying that the app doesn’t work as supposed to be.
App worked great on Apple Watch before the calendar subscription feature was added. Now you can’t force touch to change destinations. Fine. Well the last update now has broken what little function this app had. The eta time stopped updating on Apple Watch. Tried resetting, reinstalling, new phone, new watch, nothing. The ETA time shown on Apple Watch updates when it wants too, usually once an hour or never from what I can tell.
It’s a pretty good app, but it would be nice if we could customize the route that’s calculated. An example would be calculating the route while avoiding toll roads. Other than that it’s a decent app. But it’s not any more functional that a standard navigation app without those route options.
Please add landscape orientation iPadOS support
Used to love this app. Had it synced on my Apple Watch. Then after an update it stopped working on my watch. Now it won’t even install on the watch.
The app widgets can’t figure out where I am. So ETA times are almost always wrong on widgets (but then everything is as expected in the app). Yes I have checked that the app has all required permissions.
Thought this idea was brilliant, bought the app, add the widget and I'm not getting any traffic colours or times as advertised.
[Update] When you update the app version, the old eta widgets disappears, and have to reboot your iphone to see it appeared back on the old widgets section. Bummer. Ps- you guys should still do a new widgets exactly like the old one. I really dislike the new live widget. You have to choose 1 location. So I use the old one because it gives me live eta for all my locations (4) and I could even put more if I wanted because I dont have to choose. [old review obsolete] Again no more old widgets with all locations and live time. New widgets can only do 2 locations
I wanted to use this app in Tehran but doesn't work here. Please cancel it and return my money. Bijan
4 years and still haven’t been able to figure out how to avoid the 407 ETR. Useless in Toronto if you do any highway commuting since it always route you onto the 407 in rush hour.
App works, but there’s no shortcut for the app that i can use on the watch face.
Will update review if app is fixed so features actually work. Design and features seem great but the app is so broken you shouldn't but it until definitively fixed. The app allows you to set different transportation methods and links to different transportation apps, but none of the eta information is correct and all defaults to driving. It also doesn't include the buffer time setting once you set it. Basically, most of the features don't work. The app also often isn't able to load the eta times on the dashboard. For context, I entered 6 locations with different links to different navigation apps and with a variety of navigation methods. They often don't load eta times and when they do they all are for driving and not the alternatives I chose.
Stopped working today, indicates N/A for all locations. For a paid app, not acceptable especially only after a couple of weeks.
Every time I go into my watch to change destination it doesn’t work
This is a great app but it has some rough edges. The Apple Watch app barely updates my location or the times so the complication is always inaccurate.
Watch doesnt update, very unpleased, have 2 locations, Work and Home. When i arive at work it should know that im there and switch to the home ETA. It doesnt so when im driving home is still tells me that its 0 min to get to work. Want my money back !
Great addition to Apple watch. Complications are nice, but have trouble updating.
Requires that you give the app access to your location even when the app is closed, and refuses to work unless you grant this permission.
I like the layout and especially the widget. However, the widget rarely updates while in motion. Not sure if this is happening to anyone else.
Performance on this app has become quite poor since the update. It's become equally slow on my iPhone and on my Apple Watch. Sometimes it just doesn't load in the Today View. I've already gone through all the troubleshooting steps to no improvement. Also, it would be nice if you guys adopted the standard SF text. The one you're currently using doesn't look great against the rest of the OS.
I wish it worked! I've never actually seen it load. I still use the Notification Center widget
Don't waste money for Apple Watch. Complications do not work at all. Hasn't updated in days.
I want my money back - doesn't do what it claims it should
Watch face complications do not update even after hours have passed after changing location. App is set to have location data in background.
Complication never updates unless you open the app and go through a series of clicks to update.
At work, I asked it to display its 'complication' on my watch face. It told me I was 37 minutes from home, with a 7 minute delay. It's usually an hour's drive. But let's see... Halfway home, it said the same thing, 37 minutes, only now with an 8 minute delay. As I pulled onto my street, it still said 37 minutes. That was yesterday. Today, I am sitting writing this review on my couch, at home, and it tells me I am 32 minutes from home. But no delay! Don't waste your money. I would like mine back.i am deleting this complication from my life, and my watch.
I use waze as my main gps app and whenever eta would tell me a time (eg. 35 minutes to get from work to home) once I tap on it waze calculates a different eta (which is more accurate since it takes live traffic into effect). Waze would calculate to like 45 minutes which is a big difference when your app is suppose to give you eta and it's off by 10-15 minutes. Please address.
Fantastic Concept, timing is off though. The timing is off by different increments, 2 min, 5 min etc (so you can't even guesstimate because they're all different) when you do press the button with the arrow to open up your navigation app you will see how they are always off. If this is fixed it would definitely be a five-star app! iPhone 6 / iOS 8
Great App with nice SIMPLE DESIGN
Updated Review: Aug. 13, 2015 From developers’ site: "Basic usage information is captured with Google Analytics …” When it comes to google, I need to fully understand the definition of “basic usage information”! Sorry folks …. deleted your app. ——————————— First Review: The product and idea is A+. Been looking for something to replace google’s waze spyware for some time now. Please drop those google ^@$#&@*%#!
